Very delicious! Definitely worth a visit, I always get the beef shawarma wrap with the garlic sauce. Maybe one day I will try the curry but I always have had good experiences here with the shawarma.
Biryani was good so was aloo tikki chat..good taste
The chicken masala was great! The fact that they serve food to customers that dine in plastic disposable containers and cutlery that are recyclable but customers are told to throw them with leftover food in the garbage is not. The staff was rather dismissive of this. Even throwing out paper plates would be better for the environment than plastic containers… Otherwise, it was fine.
I ordered the chicken masala and for $16 with rice or 2 naans, I didn't anticipate a large portion. I ordered rice + added naan and the portions were very generous. Surprisingly needed a takeout bag. Chicken masala tasted great. I mentioned I like spicy and it was perfect without being overpowering. Owner was really nice (he mentioned that he became the owner within the past 2 months). I don't typically leave reviews although the service was fantastic so I want to highlight that. Will definitely be back again.
Food is really very delicious and available at very decent prices and one one the best thing is that you can see your food getting prepared in front of you. You guys should definitely try this place. The owner of the restaurant is very kind and friendly person.
KSC has reopened under new ownership beginning September 2024. A delightful, energetic couple who well deserve community support to make a go of this undertaking. My Chana Masala was very generous in portion and delicious. Best wishes for your continued success. I shall be back :-)

If I could give this place a ZERO I would ! Reasonably priced medium beef donair … or so I thought . Very little meat, no sauce at all , I asked for pickled turnip and got one little piece. 4-5 pieces of onion, 3-4 pieces of tomato. And the lettuce was pretty much non existent, on a small dry broken pita …. All of that for the pleasure of throwing away $13.00 . Save your money and don’t go there . It’s the WORST Shawarma place in Kingston !!! The pictures say it all and for size reference I wear a small ladies glove so my hands are on the smaller side.
I ordered a chicken biryani with 3 tiny chicken pieces and it didnt taste good. Never order from here
Terrible service took 25 minutes with 2 customer in store, also chicken biryani was unedible also spent over $30

The food was absolutely amazing! The cook is from Punjab in India! This is as close as indian food you can taste in Kingston! The place is better suited for take out but definetely worth it !

I recently dined at KSC Shawarma curries restaurant ! The chicken biryani and samosa chaat were delicious. staff was friendly and welcoming, overall Good experience . Highly recommend!
The employee is very kind but my wrap was quiet disappointing. Broken and falling apart. Missed the sauce missed my onions chicken couldve been cooked more . Not happy at all . I couldnt go back as i was in a rush for work and no choice to finish or throw out as it wasnt noticed until i opened it (takeout). Now going without a meal for the evening
It was Really a great experience to visit there, the staff greeted very well and asked us for our needs. I tried a burger over there which was really awesome. I say everyone must try things out on this place.
We picked up two shawarmas. What a waste of money. Barely any filling in the wrap. Meat was dry, hardly any salad. Ill take my money elsewhere next time.

My son and I had dinner here for the first time today. The food was fantastic and my son told me that it was the best meal he has ever eaten. Fresh and well prepared. And the service was excellent. We will definitely be back soon.
My experience wasn t bad at all if anything it was the best, but for some reason they where not able to take my debit card we tried to do tap and the normal way but it just refused my card every time the person at the till asked me if I could do e-transfer but I m unable to do it since my phone was dead, I asked if they where able to do cash but she said no. After I left I wanted to make sure it wasn t an issue on my end and went to the store to buy something small and it did work so it wasn t an issue on my end thankfully.
The place was dirty, the guy begind the counter was holding a bucket of hummus with no gloves or no hair net/hat. I eat shawarmas almost on a daily basis, and I have never seen the meat been taken from a metal bowl. The meat is supposed to be cut from the spit as it is being placed on the pita. The fresh ingredients were nowhere to be found. The lady pulled them from under the counter. They squirted the garlic on the sandwich from a bottle, and the red turnip was dark purple. I managed to choke down a bite, giving it the benefit of the doubt, but nope, it was by the far the most disgusting Shawarma that I have ever had in my life
AMAZING!! I ordered this place very recently on Uber eats as they had a buy one get one. Most places in Kingston have horrible shawarma places with old chicken and horrible high prices and portions. This place exceeded all expectations. I was shocked when I saw the buy one get one and expected a small box. Two huge 40oz shawarma boxes showed up for $12.99!! Genuinely one of the best places ever the portion size is so amazing. On top of that there are a variety of sauces that can be added to the bowl for no cost. I added everything including: hummus, garlic paste, tahini, garlic sauce, etc and it was amazing. Usually stores make you pay extra but not this place. The boxes were full to the top with rice and chicken and the food smelt amazing right away. After eating it I was full extremely fast, this is definitely good for two people and families (Espically for the price)!!! I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know, as I do believe it s the best shawarma place now in Kingston! I m so glad I ve tried it and will definitely be ordering again. If I had to give one piece of criticism it would be about the sauces. Although you can add a variety at no cost the amount is a bit low. There s a lot of rice and chicken so it turns out being a bit dry without a lot of sauce but it was still delicious regardless.
AMAZING FOOD!! Ordered it again in Uber eats and asked for extra sauce on the chicken shawarma bowl and it exceeded expectations. The rice was amazing, chicken was great and the portions will never fail to amaze me. Love this place great shawarma amazing everything, especially the price. Will continue to recommend this place to all my friends.

We ordered food from this place while our stay in Kingston. What a horrible experience! No cutlery or tissue provided. Biryani was stale and horrible and the raita had clearly turned sour. They missed two items on the order as well and no one responded when we called the place. Terrible.

This is definitely a different spin on the typical shawarma flavours. It wasnt for me but could be for a die hard curry lover. The food was freshly made. There wasnt any atmosphere. No music playing and very little conversation. The staff member was very friendly.
Impossible to find such great taste and flavour in chat shwarama and tiki burger anywhere in Ontario. Others should follow them.

We were traveling and stopped by there to grab a bite. The guy working the counter seemed very annoyed that we were there. Both of us felt like we were bothering him. I wanted to get something else but just didn t because of his attitude. If you re looking to just get food and go, do that and do not expect any kind of service. The food was good though, I had the chicken biryani and my spouse had a shawarma (he didn t Particularly like his).
We got Lamb Briyany, Belpory Chat & lamb poutine. The food was good, but Briyany was a little bit spicy I recommend you try the restaurants Food

Got chaat Papdi and mango lassi today only to find oil inside which I am assuming came from Chana Masala that he had mixed with the chaat Papdi. I have never eaten an oily chaat papdi. Mango Lassi tasted nothing like Mango! Waste of !
Decided to stop for lunch at Shawara Curries and was so happy with our experience. Imran was super friendly, the food was amazing and all around great experience. If you haven t checked this place out you need to. We will definitely be adding it to our list of favourite places in Kingston.
Just got a standard shawarma but its easily one of the best Ive ever had. Super fresh, super delicious ingredients. Very friendly staff as well. Definitely recommended

I tried egg biryani and food was not fresh. Egg were smelling and rice flavour didnt feel like biryani. I wish I could give negative rating for the food I had. Vegetarian options: Not a good food at all.
A great new spot! Friendly staff who helped me choose what to order when I couldnt decide. Love that you can get both curry and shawarma here, lots of variety. My chicken masala was made fresh right in front of me, was spicy and flavourful. I will definitely be back.

Worst curries not at all tasty. Bought lamb curry and all the lamb was in tomato paste and sweet. After eating got something in my stomach. Not recommended at all.

Not the cleanest restaurant, I was there early for lunch and tables were not cleaned. The server was not overly personable either but what a Shawarma! So tasty, I though I was back in Dubai. The rest of the food looked authentic as well. Will return.
Visited 2022 December 9. Had a beef shawarma. Have been on tour in the Middle East, and this comes the closest to food from that area that I ve had in Canada. Dietary restrictions: Food for me needs to be gluten free, and the shawarma was recommended. Thanks so much!
