Ive lived in 3 different Provinces and I still havent found anything comparable to K-pop Sub Sushi. Portion sizes are very generous and great service.

The owner is very nice. The food is good but on the pricey side Id say.

Although the food was okay, the gentleman making our food did something that weve never seen before. He coughed without covering his mouth and then proceeded to spit in the nearby garbage bin. All while making our food. This was not a pleasant experience. We were very disappointed and grossed out as we heard some great things about this establishment.

The ordinary look of the restaurant should not stop you from trying its world-class sushi.

came here with my friends for dinner! they didn t have dine in, so we ate at a nearby chatime. the burrito was very good and filling, and the owner was kind and gave us good recommendations on what to order. it was kind of expensive, ~$16, but it was worth it! would go again, it s something you should try at least once :)

Despite the looks of this place, it s my go to spot in kingston. I ve been here over 5 times and aside from the service being a little slow, the sweet man who runs this store always makes the best sushi burritos. Ingredients are fresh, concept is great, and it s always such a filling and good meal. Also, such a good option instead of the fast food chains around the student ghetto near Queens. Love it here, such a yummy spot.

Generous toppings, very sweet owner, and such fresh food and wide selection of ingredients!! Vegetarian options: The avocado burrito is the only vegetarian option, however toppings are so generous, it was amazing.

Recently visited Kingston for a hockey tournament and found this gem. These sushi burritos are priced reasonably but the owner jam packs them with your choice of protein(s), 2 sauce options, and 5 toppings, all on a large bed of rice and salad. Everything was fresh as it was so busy in there the line went out the door with hungry locals. Would definitely recommend!

Kpop Sub Sushi actually one of my favourite spots in Kingston. Im so glad to have given this place a chance, despite walking by it many times. The food is fresh, the portion is amazing, and to top it off, the prices are very reasonable. The owner of the store is also very nice and I look forward to coming back to try other sushi subs!

There are a lot of toppings. You can choose your own ingredients and put them in a box. Its similar to a salad bowl and its still delicious. The shopkeepers uncle is Korean and his English is not very good. There is always a queue at this store. Although it looks a bit shabby from the outside, it s really hidden deep inside~

Had my first sushi burrito today. Great lunch, very tasty & reasonably priced. I ended up with 1/2 for lunch & the rest for dinner. The gentleman preparing the food was a little hard to understand but finger pointing eventually helped us finish our order. Will be back.

Not happy. The rice is half-cooked and has this mushy, crunchy white core in it. The asparagus is obviously OFF even the sauce wont cover its smell. Been here a few times. Sad to see the food quality going downhill. The price is still solid considering the price increase in other restaurants.

Noah prepared my sushi burrito with great care. It was delish! Made to order. Lots of toppings to choose from. Structural integrity of the seaweed sheets are sus, possibly next Ill ask to double up said sheets. Otherwise sushi with a twist. I recommend.

I was excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. I had the salmon burrito, which was fantastic. I didnt know what to put on it, so I asked for advice, and the chef was friendly and extremely helpful. Hes very generous with the toppings too. Very filling.

This is a hidden little gem in Kingston. I went with my daughter this weekend as I was visiting from Toronto. She goes a few times every week for these amazing, fresh sushi burritos that Ive been hearing about for a while. Dont be distracted by the store front. This is a clean, wonderful establishment. I had the best sushi burrito Ive ever had! Doesnt compare to anything in Toronto. The owner is authentic and charming. Such a great value for the $. Loved this tiny little shop run by a gentleman in a fedora! The place is small enough for a few ppl to line up and order. Unpretentious and huge portions for an excellent price! I watched the gentleman prepare my sushi burrito and he just kept piling the fillings onto the rice! I wasn t even sure how he d roll it up but he did! I ordered the salmon sushi burrito with pineapple mayo and it was amazing! Fillings included two Crab meat sticks, a few slices of avocado, some pickled daikon, lettuces, masago and more! So filling snd just bursting with freshness and flavour!!!

Excellent unique blend of different kinds of food. Originally I wasnt sure I would enjoy it so much, but Ive been back multiple times and will continue to do so! All ingredients are fresh, plentiful and delicious tasting! It can be a tad expensive, but if youre eating sushi you werent originally planning for the cheapest food choose anyway, so its not bringing down the stars here! Go - you wont regret it!!!

This place is perfect for broke uni students :) Super generous portions at a really good price. I got the salmon burrito and the salmon was so fresh and thicc, I highly recommend it! You get 5 additional toppings but the owner layers lettuce and tempura bits between the toppings so it s basically 7 toppings. They also have sushi bowls, sushi rolls, and kimbap. It s a really cute little shop, go and support this local business!!

I ate a burrito with salmon and shrimp and it was just soooo perfect. I became a big fan of this restaurant:) First of all, all ingredients is very fresh. I am totally satisfied with full and fresh toppings. Look at these amazing photos! The one between two of them is salmon burrito and the other is a mixture of salmon and fried shrimp. Both are incredible. Everyone will love coming here since the chef here is super kind and generous.

I went with the salmon sushi burrito. $12 and its a full meal. You pick your meat, five toppings and a sauce. I would ask to put the soy sauce right in the burrito next time. The restaurant is pretty much take out only with a small bench along the front window. Next time Im going to try one of the bowls which I assume are similar to a poke bowl.

I ordered a red tuna burrito and it was amazing! I didnt realize Id get to pick all the toppings, and the choices for toppings are great. You get to pick anything from red cabbage to crab as a topping.

Crazy good, innovative food. I, like most, had never heared a sushi burrito but this place has turned me into a believer. Amazing topping options and a really nice, accommodating owner with great suggestions if you arent sure what to get. Not cheap but so worth it.

Food is good and fresh, but some of the pricing does seem a bit... not quite there in terms of value. I thing the biggest thing I can recommend to this place is to offer some pre-selected combinations for burritos! There are sooooooo many options for toppings and combinations that are possible, its very daunting and it took me 15 minutes to figure out what I wanted to put in there. Especially because its not a conventional type of food, you have no idea what would taste good together or not, and you dont want to screw up your burrito by putting in a topping that doesnt blend well with the others! I think if the owners did some experimenting and came up with 1 combination for each main filling that tastes great and offered those pre-selected combinations for newcomers, that would make it much more accessible and easier to order there for the people who are on the fence about trying it but have no idea what to put in it.

Love the sushi burrito! Its healthy, delicious and satisfies my craving for sushi. I really like their sauces too, especially the hot mayo.
