161 Princess St, Kingston, ON K7K 3B4, Canada
Pan-Asian restaurant with an emphasis on classic Thai dishes served in an unassuming atmosphere.
The Server at this restaurant was everything! She was very kind, patient and helpful when it came to making small adjustments to the menu to allow for vegan options. The food overall tasted awesome but couldn't help wanting just a little extra as portion size is good but the taste will leave you want just alil more. The environment was clean and cozy as well as washrooms clean.
"I was craving some seafood and decided to visit this place. I ordered their shrimp lemongrass fried rice, and it turned out to be the best fried rice I’ve had to date. The flavors were incredible! They also provide a spicy sauce if you prefer to add some heat. The portion of protein was generous as well."
This was one of the best Thai restaurants I've tried. Although our two plates looked very similar, they couldn't be more different in taste. The flavour of the coconut basil sauce of my plate was intense. It was a spicy and hot culinary experience.
Pretty decent Thai food. From the taste, I believe this is authentic Thai cuisine The portion is good enough for individuals Food is not salty and very creamy with coconut milk Padthai is decent. Mango sticky rice is a must to try
This place is a real tourist trap. While it was pretty busy on a Saturday evening during dinner service, the food was pretty sub standard. The massaman curry was so thick, almost like a gravy. The consistency was off-putting. The mango salad was too sour, overdid it on the fish sauce. The chicken skewers were surprising acceptable, good portion and grilled well. But a bit dry and definitely not enough sauce.
The food was flavourful, the portions were good, and the service was great. The app platter was a nice mix of everything. Vermicelli bowl was fresh, and loaded with lemongrass beef. Everyone enjoyed their dishes! No complaints.
The flavor is good in general, but nothing is outstanding. The flavor is definitely not an authentic Thai flavor profile that I expected. The amount of protein in each dish is definitely value worthy. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, giving such relaxing feelings to enjoy the meal. There was an accident where my friend found a hair in his Pad Thai. The waitress was super helpful and changed to a new dish for him.
Enjoyed our quick dinner at Mango 🥭 which seemed like genuinely authentic Thai food. The tasting platter was a great recommendation from the server and besides all the interesting rolls and mixed fruit and vegetable strips the sweet lemon sauce was really the star of the meal. Would highly recommend the mango chicken while the oysters and noodles were also not too bad, just a bit salty for my taste.
I always get great food here. Love all the soups and the curries can speak for the noodles as I only ever have rice. Vegetarian options: Lots of choices. My daughter is vegetarian and eats here .
This is my go-to Thai spot in Kingston. Ive tried other Thai restaurants around the city, but this one always hits the flavors just right. The Mango Tasting Platter is perfect if you love variety, or if you and someone else are having trouble choosing something to share. The Coconut Sticky Rice is amazing--warm, sweet, and definitely an underrated dish. Their Spicy Garlic Beef with Asian Egg Noodles is also a crowd favorite.
Great service and food.
Tom Yum Kai & Spicy garlic beef was delicious
Recommend the green Thai curry, tastes great with strong coconut and spice aromas
Food court quality Asian food. Overpriced. Not authentic at all. Felt like I ate a plate of garbage. Will not come back again.
This joint gets really busy in the weekends. Delicious food at reasonable prices, with attentative & fast service.
The food was good
Nice ambience. Overpriced for what you get relative to other similar places. We ordered a stir fry for about $21 which was a small portion and it did not come with rice, which was an additional $3.99 for a VERY small bowl, which could have easily been included as it probably cost the establishment 20 cents. Another reviewer called this place a tourist trap. Agree with this. Also, in one of the soups there were very large mussels with some sort of grassy vegetation stuck to the outside of the shell. Highly unappetizing. We ve had mussels all over the world and have never seen this. When we asked the server she just said it was normal and walked away. No offer to replace or resolve the issue when the other guest said they couldn t eat it. Would not return based on this experience.
Thank you for having a separate vegan menu!! Everything was delicious, cant wait to come back!
The Thai spicy eggplant was to die for - I will be ordering that very often!
Service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The portions were generous; 3 of us ate until we almost burst, and we still had a small portion of pad Thai to bring home. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. We ordered green curry shrimp, veggie pad Thai (med. Spicy), and panang curry with tofu. The pad Thai was the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spice. I usually find most places make pad Thai too sweet. My 15 year old kept saying that food was so good all the way home -- and we live 2 hours away! The only negative is that you only get 1 small bowl of rice per curry dish and it was an extra 3.99 for another bowl. But seriously, the food was amazing!!!
Mango is one of the under-rated gems of Kingston. Their food is truly a culinary wonder, with obviously high-quality ingredients making each dish look and taste stunning. Probably one of my top 3 favorite places to eat in Kingston. Whether you live in Kingston or are just passing through, Mango is a place you dont want to miss. The portion size is very generous and youll leave satisfied and happy after a wonderful meal. Parking: There is intermittent street parking, but there is also a close by lot on Wellington street and if that one is full theres always the lot by city hall. We live in Kingston and have never had a problem finding parking somewhere nearby, you just have to look for it during the busier tourist season. Most of the parking costs a few dollars. Its totally worth it though for a lovely meal!
Former employee and recent customer. Glad to see its still open! Management can improve, servers should collaborate more. Ancien employment and client récent. Heureuse de voir que ça marche toujours! Direction peut saméliorer, server devraient collaborator plus. Former employees and recent customers. Glad to see its still open! The management team can improve and the waiters should be more cooperative. Dating empleyado at kostumer ngayon. Masaya akong makita na bukas pa rin! Maaaring mag-improve ang pamunuan, dapat tulungan ng mga server ang isat isa.
Absolutely fantastic dinner!
Their dishes were delicious, some with the touch of mango that characterizes the name, spectacular, they have a very balanced aroma and acid, beautiful decoration and excellent service.
I am so incredibly disappointed in the service and staff here. I ordered 2 Golden Red Curries with Uber and we found a bunch of hair in our food. I called the restaurant and they said a manager was not there and apologized however we were not offered any money back or any way to fix the situation. I was so disgusted I couldn t eat my food! All that money wasted. I will not return back here, lost a customer.
Great and delicious food and service! The Malaysian curry noodle is what I would recommend
Got the vegetarian pad Thai. Would ve been a 10/10 if the fried tofu came on top of the dish and was crispy, rather than mixed in with the sauce making it a little soggy. All in all it s a very tasty pad Thai - would recommend!
Food is not fresh. The shrimp even tasted like rotten.
Great food. Pad Thai was exceptional. Clean Cosy environment and attentive waitresses.
Taste 9.5/10; Service 10/10; Portion with the price 7/10; The vibe 8/10 not bad at all with the design and also quite lively with people walking in and out, but I expect thai songs for a thai restaurant so 2 points off. There is no thai staff seen, no thai language on the menu, and the food is not authentic overall it has 3/10 authenticity. Though this is reasonable for a town with very few thai population. Ps. I tried Thai basil which is the vanilla menu for thai people.
Great flavor and staff!!
Two words: cashew chicken
Food is amazing, best Pad Thai I ve had in Kingston
Why is everything on the menu so good? We couldnt decide for the longest on what we wanted - we were so torn and wanted literally everything but then settled for Oyster sauce Noodle with chicken and Pad Thai noodles and we couldnt be happier
The food here is so absolutely divine. We ordered a House Pad Thai and a Chicken in Oyster Sauce with Rice noodles and both were so bloody delicious. Plus, the service is exceptionally quick, we had our food on the table in less than 10 minutes. And the staff is also extremely sweet. Overall, definitely worth a visit.
Authentic and very tasty -Zen Starwalker Vegetarian options: Great veg options Dietary restrictions: Remade my rice due to onion allergy
Vegetarian options: Loved the basil tofu! Food
I had the pad Thai was the best I had in years !!
Great menu choices. Good prices. Fresh food.
Delish vege dishes -they do tofu really well here and in several different ways. Sauces are very tasty.
Friendly and kind server. Amazing food!
Used to be my favorite place in Kingston, sadly quality has gone down drastically the past few years. Besides being much more flavorless, past two times I have went I asked for no onion and watched it be put in the order notes only to receive onion. Waste of my time and money continuing to order here
Love Mango! Best food and friendly staff.
We ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, crispy tofu and eggplant, and Malaysian curry with vegetables. I wouldnt say this is the best Thai restaurant Ive ever been to but pretty solid if youre in the mood. Vegetarian options: When you come here make sure you specifically ask for the vegan menu! They give you a paper menu that highlights all the vegan dishes/dishes that can be made vegan.
Delicious food I have ever eaten. The management over there is extremely polite as well as calm.
We ate there before going to the Grand theatre. We didnt need reservations. The staff were very pleasant. Prices very reasonable and the quantity and quality was way beyond what we expected. The menu is so large it makes you want to go back and try everything. They do have take-out as well.
The service is amazing, the waiters come around and make sure youre being taken care of. Food is good, and tasted great - we had the egg noodles with beef, sharable platter and panang curry. Everything was delicious, but I wouldnt say the flavour is authentic Thai but they do well enough. Parking: Parking is mainly street parking, paid parking during operating hours of the meter. Otherwise, free after hours.
I have very bad food allergies so I called ahead to make sure that I would be able to eat the food before going in to dine. The person I spoke to on the phone was not knowledgable and quite rude. She informed me that the chefs do not speak English so I would not be able to speak with them as I requested. However, if this is the case, you should be making everyone who works at your establishment aware of the ingredients that you re using in your dishes so that they can adequately give information about dishes to customers who inquire. Food allergies can be very severe and sometimes deadly. This is not acceptable. Take the time to info and train your employees properly before they hurt someone.
My partner & I had a great lunch here today! Our server, Abigail, was kind, attentive, and had some great recommendations based on our cravings. The chicken satay was yummy it came with mango salad which was a nice surprise because it is always my favourite at Thai restaurants. The atmosphere was quiet, warm, and cozy perfect for a chilly winter lunch!
Authentic food of large portion and nice staff
Love the food here! Always consistent- we take out all the time- great owner operated establishment ! Highly recommend
This is one of the most consistent restaurants Ive ever visited. Ive ordered food from here so many times now... dine-in, pickup, delivery. Its always the same, amazing quality. I really love the Malaysian curry, coconut lime soup, fresh summer rolls and spicy Thai eggplant dishes. They can accommodate vegan preferences quite easily. The staff is always wonderful as well. Very kind and accommodating. They care about your experience. I always recommend this place to anyone I know.
I had never heard of this place before and decided to randomly check it out. It is a beautiful little restaurant. The service was excellent and incredibly fast. I went with the Mango Shrimp since its in the name, I was not disappointed. Will definitely go again.
Great food great service and nice place. We stopped in for an early dinner and tried the Penang curry, mango salad and pad Thai. All were excellent.
Great food
Good, not great. Portions are generous, but under-seasoned and not very lively flavours. The sauce on the green curry had a bizarre texture, and the colour wasn t appetizing. The Tom yum seafood soup was tasty enough and had lots of seafood in it. The Malaysian curry noodles were spicy, but lacked enough salt so overall were a bit unexciting. The wine selection leaves something to be desired. The service was too fast, and they made errors. We ordered the coconut sticky rice in banana leaf to go with our main, they brought us sticky coconut rice with mango (a desert), even though I pointed to the rice that was underneath the steamed rice on the menu. We received our appetizers, dinner and desert within about 15 minutes, and had barely had time to finish our appetizers before our tiny table was so full of oversized serving dishes, that there was barely enough room for our under-sized dinner plates. I ve definitely had more interesting Thai food before, and although this was ok and filled us up, at $108 including tax and tip for soup, two dishes and one small dish of steamed rice, two drinks and desert, I probably won t go back. Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options clearly labeled on the menu. Not many of them, but at least it s clear what is available. Not sure if it is celiac-safe.
Dirty enviroment, strange smell, bad food, no service sense at all. I don t know why there are no zero points. The food and service are a mess. The room smells like it has not been cleaned for a long time. It is a Chinese restaurant that deceives foreigners with its pure taste. It is compulsory to tip. He looked like someone owed him something. There are so many choices on one street, just don t go here.
It s been a while to dine in at Mango. Friendly service, great food , reasonable prices and nice atmosphere. I can see the owner really put effort on the restaurant. Will definitely back again.
Excellent customer service, quick for pick-up orders. I called my order in and then walked over 10 mins later and the order was already done! The other night I had (CH-3)Sweet and Sour Sauce, crispy chicken breast, tomatoes, pineapples, onions and bell peppers in sweet and sour sauce! It was so much I took it home and had it for lunch today. I ordered the S4 Seafood Sweet and Sour soup, spicy sand sour soup with shrimp, mussels, crab meat, mushrooms baby corn, makes you sweat and the flavor of sea food could be found in every spoon full with rice! Only thing I can suggest with the soup is order 2 servings of rice, 1 is not enough. I recommend this place 10++ Parking: Located in the heart of Downtown Kinsgston on the main street of Princess. Walking distance of the HDH and close to other resturants. Parking could be hard to find during M-F 9-6pm. Kid-friendliness: A family could visit this place, kids may have a tough time finding something they like if they do not prefer some spicy food.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Would go again
Really enjoyed the food at mango Thai. The green curry was delicious and the service was top notch. Definitely coming back when visiting Kingston.
Pad Thai was great. Don t know about the rest of the menu.
Food was lovely and so was the service
This place is absolutely stunning with its gold and black contrasts. Water elements greet you, inviting you into another . Staff is always friendly; also catering to walk ins and take out. Their Fresh Mango GinNJuice is a Must to try in Downtown Kingston!! Vegetarian options: Many. Parking: Theres a parking lot around the corner and many street options if you can get them. Kid-friendliness: I cant see why not. Family atmosphere. But also for intimate meetings as well.
Mango Thai & Pan-Asian Cuisine 9/10 A1 - Mangos Tasting Platter $21.99 N1 - House Pad Thai $18.99 This restaurant is a gem in downtown Kingston, often recognized by the floor light outside. If (and when) you go here, you have to try the appetizer platter! It has so many options on it and theyre all delicious. Along with the pad thai, we also ordered some other food (not pictured)! Everything went beyond expectations, and we left very satisfied. Highly recommend!! **For more reviews, follow @smfoodd on Instagram!!
The only restaurant we always enjoy! There are plenty of vegan/vegetarian options, the prices and servings are fair, the food arrives quick and hot, and the waiter (I forget his name) is so welcoming and friendly! This is our go-to date night spot!
Lovely Thai food
Love the food every single time we go there. Doesn t matter what we order from the menu, it s always mind blowing. Customer service is always par excellence.
It was good, other than I ordered spicy garlic beef with asian egg noodles and there wasn t any noodles in it. I was really disappointed. It tasted amazing though, but it would ve been so much better with noodles. (And there was no pictures so I couldn t see what I was ordering)
Great food and staff. A very nice small local restaurant
Overpriced. Large soup is like a small soup at other restaurants with the flavour is not good. And 15% service fee. Disappointment.
I was happy with the service. The staff were nice. I liked the environment as well. The food was not very tasty. Maybe lack of spices or salt, but it was definitely freshly made. For food I give 4 stars and for service and atmosphere 5 stars. We ordered Thai Calamari, Sweat and Sour chicken (including pineapple slices), and Beef with Oyster Sauce. Interestingly, Calamari as an appetizer was my favorite.
Delicious take out! Quick, friendly service. We enjoyed it very much.
Had the Malaysian curry noodles. Absolutely delicious. Medium heat was good for me. Recommended dishes
The first two times we came here the food was amazing. Today, we ordered the same dishes and the food was mediocre. If I could give a lower rating than one for the food I would have. Poor service, long wait times for cutlery, plates, and the bill.
Really great spicy meals !
Excellent menu, service, cleanliness, ambience. The Malasian curry noodle dish was very good. Will definitely return Food
Excellent food - very flavourful and fresh. Pleasant service and reasonable prices in a cozy atmosphere.
Best place to eat and enjoy downtown Kingston. Very delicious food and great prices. The owner is very humble and very professional. All employees are very professional and very knowledgeable about their menu. Thank you
Curry duck was very good .
Such amazing food and customer service! We definitely found our new go-to Thai restaurant
Worst mango salad, no flavor and a basic mango cut in large julienne pieces, deep fried tofu (was charged an extra 6$ to get microwaved warmed up tofu on top of the tofu extra). Go elsewhere.
Great food ! Great atmosphere!
Very clean space and great food + good service
My daughter and I just wanted a tasty snack. We shared an order of such tasty spring rolls. It was super quick and friendly service Food
Very good choice for dinner
Great place to gather with friends
The vegetable roll was an onion roll with huge pieces of onion. The bun chia gio had only noodles et no taste, not enough vegetables. The pad Thai was way too sweet and tasted weird. They are all things we are used to eat I do not recommand.
Nice restaurant for dine in, cheeky employees charging me for service 15% without even telling us food and servings were ok but probably not good for parties or large amount of people . Nice interior but not sure if the food is worth it for that price price plus everything they added
Excellent food and service here. It s the best Asian restaurant I ve even been. I like the Thai food here so much. My favorite is the Malaysian curries noodles. But the cashew chicken, all curries and basil beef are amazing as well. I always debate which dish I should get each time. Strongly recommending everyone to come and see how amazing the food is here.
Disappointing flavor. Ordered golden red curry. Very few chicken and 80% mixed vegetables. Not recommended.
Friendly attentive service, fantastic flavorful food. Casual, comfortably spaced seating. Highly recommended! Food
Hearty and very well cooked dishes. Very friendly and attentive welcome and service. I recommend.
Food was over priced for what we got. The food was way too salty and not enough flavour. Very disappointed and should have gone to the basic Pho place for my noodles.
Came to check out this restaurant for lunch based off of the Google reviews and pictures. We were not disappointed at all. Everything was very flavourful, fresh, fragrant, and served quickly. The server checked on us frequently and always had a smile. The spicy dishes weren t too spicy at all - very tolerable and lots of flavour. So if you are expecting super spicy make sure to tell your server. We tried the Seafood Tom yum soup coconut lime soup Mangos tasting platter Spicy garlic beef with Asian egg noodle (medium heat) I would recommend all these dishes. Excited to come back and try more dishes
Vegetarian options: A great place for veg food Food
Excellent experience. Delicious. Dietary restrictions: Had a well detailed menu to make my selection. Very helpful staff. Food : 5/5 |
Always great authentic Thai food. The noodle dishes are fantastic with very generous portions and fresh ingredients. Vegetarian options: Many good vegetarian options
Very good surprise. Hearty dishes with spicy tastes. Very friendly and fast service. Very good value for money and a restaurant that serves after 8 p.m. in Kingston rare and appreciable
Absolutely gorgeous food. The mango salad was perfect!
Started with the appetizer sampler: Chicken satay was succulent and flavourful, tofu was silky and the spring rolls were crispy and golden. The shrimp salad rolls were better than most places in Kingston and all three dips were lovely. Mango salad for the win. For my main, I got the green curry with chicken and it was incredible. I asked for it spicy and it was as hot as it could possibly be without compromising a perfect balance. The veggies were cooked al dente leaving a nice crunch and beautiful colour. My wife had the chicken satay and loved it. Sauce had a delicious sweetness and the noodles were toothsome. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the veggies were vibrant. Tiger beer is always delicious too I had two. Can t wait to go back. Vegetarian options: Pretty much every dish has a vegetarian option. Parking: It s downtown. Cross your fingers and hope for a spot.
I wish I had ordered from somewhere else.
I ordered the Coconut Chicken Soup and Vegetarian Pad Thai and both were excellent! The soup was absolutely delicious. The pad thai was a bit sweet for my palate, but still very, very good. Ill absolutely be ordering again. And it arrived hot and no spillage~so kudos for the packaging! (only mentioned because our last several orders from the delivery company were cold because they didnt ring our doorbell so we didnt know the food was here!) Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Pad Thai was excellent. A little short on tofu though. Only 2 pieces. Still really good.
Food is very good but it seems there is always an issue when you order from Skip. They had my order rrady in 35 minutes but then the deluvery guy Nama from Skip was one hour still delivering after picking up my order. Definitely Skip is becoming worst and worst and their people doing deliveries are unreliable.
Pretty good. The mango chicken was nice mmmm
Welcome to the candy shop... Food is too sweet, at least what we ordered is: orunge chikun and shrimp mangu....
Fast and tasty take out! Spicy red curry and the coconut rice were my favourites.
Absolutely delicious! Generous portions, was ready very quickly. Well packaged for take out, everything was hot and crisp. 100% recommended.
Awesome place to eat. Good prices, delicious food will be stopping again for sure. I love eating here when Im either in kingston or going through and need a great meal never had any bad food here its always been excellent. The lemongrass rice is one of my favorites.
My favourite Thai restaurant in Kingston. I love their Coconut Lime soup and Panang curry! Their menu is very friendly to vegan and gluten-free dishes.
I ordered the Green Thai Curry with chicken. It was simply delicious, the best green curry Ive ever had in Kingston!
This was very easy to navigate and your food is the best! Thank you!
Pretty meh. Think of it as food court Asian food but at authentic prices. I like food court Asian food but this is hiding it behind fancy ambiance. Not mad just disappointed.
Food was ready very quickly and was fresh and flavourful!
Best pad thai in town. I find the pad thai has the right amount of heat (i order medium) and is a very generous portion. The prices are good and the service is very friendly.
Fast, delicious! Fabulous.
Always great food! Curries are safe for people who are gluten free.
Great food..thaifood made better
Very Nice and Humble Place good people nice menu
Honestly my favourite restaurant in the world. I haven t lived in Kingston for 5 years but I miss Mango every day. The meals are large for such an inexpensive price ($11ish). I can never decide which meal is my favourite so every time I went I ordered the pad thai, oyster beef and cashew chicken and had leftovers for days. I will visit again someday.
Nice place w very good food. The place is comforting when entering, very peacefu. The staff was kind & polite & did not discriminate against me. The food here is flavourful. Love that theres lots of sauce. Im not sure what the sweet & sour chicken is but definitely wasnt... What my temple expected because it killed my body into the next evening.
We bought food for a family of 6 and everyone loved it. The medium spice pad thai was certainly spicy enough for me!
Lovely friendly staff. The food is always delicious and fresh with lots of veggie options. The panang curry... amazing. Their new online ordering website is excellent - easy to navigate! Mango Thai is always go to for Thai cuisine
Great food, it was ready super quick, and it tasted awesome!
I have ordered the red Thai curry with shrimp twice now. it s a great meal with a good spice level and full of shrimp, I also ordered the house pad Thai this was also quite good but smaller than the curry. The staff were very friendly and helpful during each visit. Strongly recommend eating here! I do each time I m in Kingston.
Great food and great service.
Food was very good.
Very very good and friendly service.
Curries, noodle dishes and soup were amazing. Service is fast and servers are very friendly. Will continue to order from Mango!
Very nice atmosphere and food. Great spot!
Really great restaurant - the food is amazing and never disappoints, the service is awesome, especially when accommodating for allergies. Worth the short drive off the 401 for an excellent meal!
This used to be my go-to Thai place years ago and then I kind of slept on it for a while. Decided to check it out again and were we ever glad we did. Thoroughly enjoyed all of our food, love that you can pick your own spice level and also the food came out lightening quick. Have to put it back in the rotation.
It had been a while since Id been to Mango and it was worth the wait! I ordered takeout online and it was ready within 15 minutes. The food was amazing, even better than I remembered! Fantastic fresh rolls, delicious coconut lime soup and the curry was perfect.
The flavours were weak. We had 4 different dishes. Way too much sauce. My orange chicken tasted like it had a carton of orange juice added to it. It was too sweet and I like sweet. The chicken itself was good and I ended up letting my family grab pieces since I could not eat my dish. We tasted each others dishes. Seemed watered down. My one kids pad thai he said the shrimp and chicken seemed rubbery. I tried the tofu and it was awful. My husband said his food was bland but was hungry so ate it. My other kid seemed to like his curry but the rest of us found it just tasted like coconut. We have tired a different Thai restaurant and didnt realize it was closed on Monday. Wont be coming back to this restaurant.
Amazing Mango tofu. Crispy golden outside and soft, delicious inside. Every dish that my friends and I have tried have been a hit!
Had a wonderful experience, the food was fantastic.
It would be a shame if there was such food in Thailand... also the poor customer service... avoid it
Not the taste our Family was expecting. Pretty basic, the Thai Curries were too sweet for us and the veggie rice lacked flavours or perhaps salt . Anyway the restaurant is not getting one star cause the server was good.
The food was yummy. Its a must visit place.
Delicious Thai food and friendly staff
Very tasty meals and lovely staff! Generous portions too. Loved it!
Super good spring rolls!!!
Great ambience and food..
Get the coconut lime soup, Malaysian noodles, or anything else on the menu. Great food!
Coming from Toronto where we have many real Thai and Viet restaurants, this place was authentic! Great food, service and location! Totally recommend it!
UPDATE: 2nd round. Dine-in this time and the food was absolutely delicious. I will consider them for their dine-in experience and the decor was impressive. This is your green curry for $14.99 which is suddenly $16.99 (never disclosed any increase in base price) then taxed at a total cost of $19.20? A taco has more beef than your authentic food. Just thieving! As for the meal...all I taste is coconut milk, I mean look at it, this is NOT green curry...not even close to authentic. Never again!
Just awesome food and great service provided by Coral. We were here a couple of years ago, but this experience today was completely a very positive one. The restaurant is clean and inviting including the facilities. We will definitely be back.
Had lunch in this place. It was nice and clean. We ordered Tom Yum Goong, Thai Calamari, Chicken Spring Rolls,House Pad Thai, Ginger Chicken, Beef with Oyster Sauce and Mango with Coconut Sticky Rice. The place did not disappoint because all the food were so delicious and so tasteful. The portions are also big and the price reasonable.15% service charge is already included in the bill.
Absolutely amazing, consistently awesome food, wonderful and always friendly staff.
best Thai/Malaysian curry, nice staff and place is clean and nice atmosphere.
The food was really good and they had many options, especially gluten free. Items marked spicy could use a little more spice. Service and ambiance was comfortable. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu available on request.
The interior of the restaurant was well decorated and the food- wonderful. We had veggie pad Thai and mango tofu which had an authentic taste. The portions were not as large as expected (based on the American standard) but nevertheless we are our fill.
Went with family. Great menu, proportions, and most importantly, the food was delicious.
Great food
Taste wise its super good you wont be disappointed. Quantity wise there is a scope of improvement though.
All time favorite Asian cuisine outlet. The mango salad is yumm!!
Excellent food and Tsing Tao and Tiger Beer
An excellent stop while driving between TO and Montreal. Delicious veggie options. Try their Red curry, Spicy eggplant and Malaysian curry and noodles. Excellent ambiance and wonderful staff. Reasonably priced. Will return many times.
Overpriced. Small portions even for a small person. Large soup is like a small soup at other Thai places. Soup is mostly chunks of tofu. Food/ meat and rice/ does not really taste anything special. Waste of money. Disappointment. Go anywhere else.
Its okay but far from the best Thai ever. We only went once but maybe we got it on an off-night. I probably wouldnt go again but hopefully your experience will be better.
The staff was super, the prices quite reasonable and larger portions than expected. The beef in garlic sauce and basil chicken were fantastic. The hot sauce I asked for was exactly that....hot!
I will give them 0 star if I could! Warning!! Had a really terrible experience at this restaurant! They charged us 15% service fee for no reason(table of two). We checked other tables bills, and no one else got that but us. Don t know if that s because we are Asian since we are the only Asian in the restaurant at the time. We asked the manager about it cuz it feels like really racist!! He just told us he had a really long day .and he s not going to talk about it. NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!!! Can t believe they will do that to us since it s an Asian restaurant.
Delicious food, coconut lime soup, eggplant & tofu, mango salad
This place is probably one of my favourite Thai places ever! I go here regularly and always have a positive experience. Their pad Thai and curries are my favourite and the staff is super friendly!
Affordable restaurant, good service. We order curry, sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Everything was really good
Food was excellent quality, portions are large and everything tasted great. Exceeded my expectations
Excellent food but a bit overpriced. I ordered ginger beef and it came without rice. They charged $4 extra for a small bowl of rice. Very well located in Kingstons downtown but its not a luxurious place.
We like the food , beef was a little raw but thats ok, old server put the tip amount automatically by herself it was weird except these 5/4 place
The food is very good, nice presentation. They are understaffed so the service is so so (not the servers fault). The decor is very beautiful. For what you get, I feel the prices are a little bit high, but that might be the going rate in this area.
This place has really good food. We oder more plates (sweet sour chicken, Thai rice and red curry) all of them awesome.
Travelled with a big group (around 10) and this was the only place big enough on Sunday night to accommodate all of us - and the food was delicious! Many of us came back another evening too. Highly recommend.
Excellent restaurant. I easily ordered online and was able to pick up my order in 20 min. Easy Peazy! Food is delicious. Highly recommend!
Very friendly service. Food is consistently good. Menu is just the right size, not too small, not overwhelmingly big.
My wife and daughter REALLY loved this place! The ambience was perfect; food was sumptuous and customer service was top-notch. Well cool back!!
Love Mango, its one of my go-to places for takeout. I always get the shrimp panang curry and it never disappoints. Large portions too so you could easily get 2 meals out of it!
Absolutely the best curry I have ever had! It s tasty. I would highly recommend the smoked duck on red curry!
Service was great. The decor and atmosphere is a bit lacking. The food was quite tasty but not amazing. A lot is prepped early and then seemingly microwaved before being served. If youre aiming for quick serve, its quite good. But its not the same as a casual dining restaurant. I think they could easily do better at this since they clearly know how to make the food tasty - they just dont know how to make it seem really fresh.
Great food, weve been going here for years and it never disappoints.
Food was not terrible but wasn t good at all. Pad Thai tasted like it was flavoured with ketchup, shrimp dish was quite pricey and didn t come with many pieces nor was it seasoned well enough to be worth it, waitress was mediocre - she forgot our cutlery and we had to ask and also didn t bring sauce we asked for and had to ask twice.
Great food ! Great service ! Family and toddler friendly. Warm, beautiful inside. We will go again for sure.
Service was adequate: The server while nice, was not very attentive. We were the only ones in the restaurant, server came by and took our order, and dropped it off. didnt ask how the food was, or whether we enjoyed it. The bare minimum of interaction. The food was mediocre and overpriced for what it was. Tasted similar to take out versions of the same meals at an upcharge.
straight gas
Absolutely great food I had, I ve been trying to explore a lot more foods and what I ordered just really was excellent. Greeted by a really super nice guy and very interactive and such a charming person. If you want some really good Thai food I suggest going to this place, it was fast and just delicious.
Awful food
It had been a long time since we had been there but the food was delicious and the staff was super friendly.
