Quality of food is going downhill. Also I did asked some guy that was busy arranging napkins one by one ( must of been a slow day ) if my beef could be done medium rare. He did say OK . However after approx 15 seconds of him still doing his napkin arranging, I asked . Are you going to tell anyone ? Not sure if he pretended to understand or not. Also after a few bad reviews there seems to be wave of good reviews that appear to have been written by friends perhaps based on the names. To follow up on this. There is a similar pattern at the other 2 Thai Express in Kingston. There are a few people that have given multiple 5 star reviews around the same time . Fake reviews
This was the worst experience at Thai express I've ever had. I will never go back. I ordered a chicken pad Thai. I paid in a timely manner. As the cashier was putting together the items I realized that i didn't want green onions or radishes in it. I politely asked the cashier to not include the items and he refused because it was already in the prep bowl. A few minutes later I'm standing around still waiting for my food to be started. The cashier is leaning over the counter texting on his phone. my food hasn't been started for what feels like 10 minutes at this point. I went over and said "look if no one is going to cook my food I'd like a refund" he kept saying "oh the cook is coming back. Oh the cook is coming back" well this guy didn't come back for at least 5 more minutes at this point. Then started my meal which didn't take long thankfully. Needless to say I was already frustrated and upset at this point. I take my food and try to enjoy it in the food court. In the dozens of times I've gone to thai express over the years in different cities the service has always been very efficient and very friendly. And the food has always been hot and delicious. This time though - the ingredients couldn't be removed from my dish 10+ minutes before it was even started. And the final nail in the coffin it has no tofu it it. Anytime I've ever eaten it. It's had tofu included. You pay to ADD chicken to it. I didn't bother bringing it up at this point to Thai express staff because I knew no resolution would be presented. It's sad because usually Thai express makes a tasty pad Thai.
Wife wanted the shak-a-bowl, no got. I ordered the pad thai, which looked nothing like the picture. Maybe a few bean sprouts, no peanuts and no veg. Not trying that again. Flavourful, mehh.
Not bad. Rice was a little cool and crunchy. But I certainly ate all of it.
When I go to the Cataraqui mall I also consider stopping at Thai Express for food, and when I do I am never disappointed. I mostly order the Pad See Ew with beef. My favourite part though has to be eating out of the take out style boxes. The main cook can be hard to understand at times but the food he cooks tastes amazing so it balances out in my opinion. Would recommend trying it for yourself.

My boyfriend and I went this afternoon for some dinner after shopping. It was our first time at Cultures and we’ll be back next time we are in the area! The 2 guys working were very friendly and and the food was made fast! The food was fresh and tasted good (I got the southwest bowl) The smoothie was sweet but not too sweet (very berry smoothie)! What I was surprised the most about was the amount of food! There was so much of each topping! It was perfect!
Exceptional customer service from the two guys working here. They were really friendly and accommodating for my friend’s vegan options. The Baja wrap I had was really fresh, service was fast, and we will definitely eat here the next time we’re at the mall!
Food is very bland

CUSTOMER BEWARE!! I would never eat at this location, its extremely unsanitary! Multiple occasions Ive seen employees return to work after using the toilet and not wash first!
Food was horrible. One of the worst meals I have eaten in ages. Bland, tasteless, almost chocked on grisly beef. Will never return. And don t like being called Honey! Food

Ordered the pad Thai. Only a handful of veggies and ZERO tofu. $15 for a container of noodles. Not worth it at all!
Everything seems to be as usual, but from the fact that it is served in disposable dishes, the food cools down quickly.
Food is fresh and phenomenal, and the staff are truly the best. Lovely, great vibes and incredibly friendly. Could not recommend this location more

I visited this week for the first time and got the General Thai Chicken. I have to say that this was one of the worst things Ive ever eaten. The chicken was so tough and dry. There was barely anything atop a ton of white rice and when it was mixed together, the whole thing was completely dry and bland. I was so disappointed, especially since it set me back 14$. So unreasonably priced for absolutely terrible food.

I went to the Thai Express in the mall, where I usually have amazing experience! However this time I was given the wrong size of my order, I payed over the amount I was suppose to and was not asked for my vaccine verification.
We just paid $40.50 for a soup and 2 stir frys. The server didnt seem to pay attention to what I was saying, and it was bland and was just noodles and chicken, when I asked for veggoes. Very mediocre.

Better than downtown location but they never seem to have any shrimp spring rolls.....why have this item on the menu if you never have any to serve? Its been like this for years now.
I came with a big order with many details for different people from work. The cashier Mackenzie was amazing! She separated everything and put our names on the bags with separated bills. Very organized! This was lovely and shows care with the customer service! Thumbs up for Thai Express and McKenzie!
I just had the shrimp Tom Yum soup for the second day in a row. Fragrant, delicious broth, so good! Great service and would definitely recommend. I didn t expect much from a food court location but they exceeded my expectations. Well done!

These guys are new to Skip the Dishes. We had a bit of a mix up with our order. Thai Express was very quick to rectify our order and the manager of the store made a special trip to our house to deliver our order within minutes. Great customer service!

Worst ever customer service I have seen, I am regular customer of them, asked for fried rice and they have given plain rice with salad, she was yawning while I am giving the order, so disgusting. Told to do extra spicy and this stuff is yuk, I will never be back here again.

Imperials rolls look decent, but are all doughy inside. Could only eat one of the two I ordered. Even with that, had to drown it in sauce to make it edible. Had some Thai soup. It so bland, the chicken was so over boiled it was now rubbery/inedible. Pretty much had chicken broth with some raw veggies, nothing more. Not going back, very sad.
Went there recently, food was great, large portions friendly service and reasonably priced.

The website does not at all reflect the contents of a red curry chicken, its not red, there is chicken and when you dig through the top inch the rest is a bland mix of white rice and a teeny amount of sauce. I recommend looking elsewhere as this is simply not worth your cash.
The Baja chicken wrap was awesome and the matcha smoothie was fabulous. Had it delivered to my office and the person who packaged it absolutely made my day better by leaving a hand written note thanking me for my order! (They didnt leave a name but it was on 9 May 2018 around 11AM - they should absolutely be commended on their incredible service)

I had the MOST delicious sandwitch today, on ciabatta toasted, Asian inspired Tempeh with veg. The guy supervisor let me try all the non-meat, dairy-free protein options, including a super yum quinoa ball (similar to falafel). The sarny had a slightly spicy mayo (so not totally vegan). I am still having such happy mouth feelings. Thanks Cultures team Kingston!!
I work at the clinic in the mall and I love the food at cultures. And the best part of the place is Tina who works in the morning. I love her she is awesome, very polite, professional and she is doing the great work amongst everyone. She is always smiling and very very very friendly. So whenever someone plans to eat at cultures make sure to ask for Tina as she is phenomenal.
Turkey and brie panini.....cheap cold cuts and flavorless brie.
This place is a food fair kiosk and as such you arent getting a dinning experience the food is fair and quick. The service could be better had to ask 4 times for more napkins as she would only give me one at a time. But the cooks are always smiling
I ordered a pad thai and there was a hair in it. I brought it back to them and they said its not our hair! Really guys! Its radicolous customer service and they refused to give my money back.
I am absolutely addicted to the tofu pad Thai. The most vegetarian/vegan friendly fast food styled restaurant that I have ever been to. There cooks are fast and the portions are filling. If your in the mall I would definitely recommend trying it.
