They ve not only mastered bagels but also a variety of pastries including this chocolate croissant-like rugelach that you muuust microwave for a few seconds before devouring it. Excellent service, great value, and a most-stop for all visitors.

Premier Bagel is a hidden bagel shop on the W.I. and in the city. The service here is a little bit different and some of the employees are nice and courteous. They should improve on that more and their bagels there are decent. Their cheese bagels here are good though and they have some available although they should make more because they are delicious. Hope to visit from time to time when I can and see improvements and updates in the near future. A would reccomend.

Somewhat cheap on sesame. Taste not that great, but better than grocery store bought generic bagels. Price also somewhat higher than other more authentic and classic bagel shops.

Went for the first time today after seeing loads of customers go in and out over the last few months. Very simple setup but great customer service and excellent bagels. Nice to see a bagel store keep the bakers dozen alive.

The bagels are EXCELLENT and this is the main point, of course. They also sell smoked salmon cream cheese and other types, which they make themselves - also excellent. And they sell their overflow of toasted sesame seeds, which I love. Regarding the service, I have always been treated politely and very efficiently, but not particularly warmly. Heres my totally unprofessional take on why. These people are perfectionists and are very stressed by the difficulties of running a small business that has huge competition and low profit margins. Unfortunately their stress shows. When I have taken the time to chat and engage, there is warmth. Having been there many times, I would say that the previous reviews create a skewed impression. If you love really great bagels and live nearby, youre cheating yourself if you dont give them your business. Update September 2022. Still going to Premier Bagel and, these days, it s a super friendly place to visit, the bagels are bigger than most others and are still great. They also come in delicious whole wheat.

One of the best I have ever seen

This place is great ! Amazing bagels, all different types and they have sandwhiches and other stuff too. We wanted a quick snack and they were able to toast bagels for us on the spot. They have coffee and hot chocolate. All kind of good stuff! Love this place, I wish they had one closer to us in Vaudreuil

I noticed a lot of people coming in and out so I knew it was going to be a great place. I was not disappointed. The bagels were warm, chewy and delicious. The staff was very friendly and made feel welcomed. I love that they have the alcohol dispenser at the entrance. I will be back!

Terrible experience! The cashier woman was wearing a pair of gloves. She was taking money from the customer at the same time with the same gloves that she already touched the money, she was making sandwich for the afew customers in front of me. As soon as I saw that I left the store.

Ive been coming here since the day it opened. Ali and his family are amazing! The bagels are always hot and fresh in that wood fired oven. You have to get there early though cause they often sell out, and theres a line up. They have truly become a West Island Staple. If you havent eaten their bagels, youre missing out. Just go already!

Came in with our toddler today and in addition to our dozen sesame bagels the cashier also gave a special little bag to my son. Inside was one plain bagel (no sesame seeds, so no mess in the car). So kind AND thoughtful! Great tasting bagels and great service!

The bagels were perfect. I love the 13 to the dozen. I bought 4 different kinds and they were all great! Had to wait for the all dressed they were nice and hot when I got them. We had a hard time waiting to eat one.

Hello from Australia! Visiting family and we stopped by to get tasty montreal treats. Amazing variety of bagels and sandwiches especially smoked salmon. Loved them and will definitely take those delicious bagels back!

Living in the West Island, it can be hard to find real, fresh bagels locally. This place is definitely the closest you can get without going into the city. Theyre really good! The bagels are fairly priced and always fresh (at least the standard sesame and poppy ones, maybe less so for the more specialized flavours). Minus 1 star though because of the customer service, the woman at the cash could be a little more friendly and welcoming.

Their bagels are good but the service is terrible. I used to go there often but it looks like they dont care about their customers. Because of the owners attitude - the lady was unfriendly and impatient, yesterday was the last time. Dont go there.

Agree with the other reviews. The bagels are good, but the staff gives you a strong sense that they dont actually want to serve you and take your money. Very strange approach for a small business. I havent gone back since my first visit, mainly because I dont want to disturb them! UPDATE: the approach to customer service appears to have changed over time, there is a bit more of a smile and friendliness going on here now.

The bagels are delicious! I find it great to be able to get real bagels so close to home and the opening hours are very good as well - they are open at 7 AM on a Sunday! I have absolutely no complaints about customer service and this is definitely important to me. Always been treated nicely, maybe not the warmest people but definitely friendly. They are busy and because there is not much chitchat with customers going on you dont have to wait for a long time if there is a line up. So, in short - GREAT PLACE!

Great bagels , terrible costomer service . The 30 year old owner had trouble counting to 13 and only gave me 11 bagels . When I went back for my two bagels , I was met by Are you sure? instead of an immediate apology . I may be 57 but I can still count to 13 ! The insinuation is one of mistrust in that I would come all the way over there to put my claim on two bagels ! He then put the two bagels in a bag and gave them to me . When I suggested that he throw an extra couple in for his error and my having to come back there , wow did I ever get a lesson on how not to treat a client . This man needs a few lessons in costumer service. I will not go back for a long time . Bagels de West on Sources has bagels that are just as good and know how to treat a client . Mr. Owner or manager . It takes along time to make a costomer , it takes seconds to loose one. YOU JUST DID!!!
