6023 Lake Washington Blvd NE, Kirkland, WA 98033, United States
Waterfront dining on the beautiful shores of Lake Washington in Kirkland, WA. New American Seafood grill. Family friendly, outdoor waterfront dining, date night, happy hour.
Food is good and comes out fairly fast. Expect $50-60 pp if getting appetizer + entree. View is nice, quick to be seated on a Saturday night.
We walked in around 5:30 ish on a Sunday in October and could get a table near the window almost right away. We had a spicy prawn, a beachouse burger(with yam fries) and a spicy seafood fettuccine. All was good! The burger was juicy and the fettuccine had enough seafood with variety. I loved their atmosphere when the sun went down. Also, it was good to walk around the beach near the restaurant.
Wonderful food and great options. My friend and i got the scramble. The potatoes were super crispy and delicious. The pineapple mimosa was amazing. The staff was super nice. My friends and I went on a fall day, and the weather and view of Lake Washington was beautiful
Truly amazing waterfront sunset views, outdoor seating and a really cute indoor space with a large no reservations necessary bar space the still includes window seats, high tops, and couch-like comfy chairs at the bar. Was on a paddle board and noticed it, docked on pier right outside the restaurant, had a great meal and a beer and got right back on the lake.
Amazing food right on the water? Amazing cocktails right on the water? I can't think of a better combination! I literally drive here at least once a week (sometimes up to five) feening for a Expresso Martini out of their machine- it's totally worth the 45 minutes it takes us to get there. We've had almost everything on the menu and it's PERFECT!
We met friends for lunch, the service was prompt and friendly. We ordered the fish tacos and spicy seafood fettuccine. The pasta dish had great flavor and had an abundance of seafood. The tacos were flavorful and the fish was tender. Being right on the water was an added bonus for a wonderful meal.
We visit her often as locals. View is hard to beat, especially at sunset in the summer. Food is good and service is too Ahi bowls, salads, fish and chips, fish tacos, burgers, and more are good Nice bar area and plenty TVs if you’re a sports fan
We needed to wait out the traffic & it was a beautiful day so we decided to stop here because it was on the water. We had some beautiful views & delicious food. The service was great & the price was what we were looking for. They have happy hour Fish & Chips which was plenty & priced right. We also got clams & calamari for the Happy Hour Menu & again perfect amounts & prices! The place is super clean & I’m so glad we arrived when we did because the places started to fill up at 5pm on a sunny Friday afternoon. Thank you for a great experience.
Love this place ! Right on the water! Great food, great service, friendly staff. All the seats are great, including in the bar.
Food was great but did take quiet some time to come out. Our waitress was awesome but some of the people at the front were less than pleasant to talk to..like they didnt want us there or something. Would come back for the view thou Food
Nice, cozy ambience with views of Lake Washington. Friendly staff. Delicious food. We especially liked the shrimp appetizers and cedar plank salmon.
Great staff and cozy atmosphere
Dry salmon and fish tacos. The wine was nasty. Maybe the server was new and rarely came to the table because of doing other table cleaning, etc. This included waiting to give us the bill and coming back to get my card. Not very observant. This was not a good experience.
So delicious, we tried this place when considering a move to Washington and it was amazing. Since moving here we have gone a few times at busy and less busy times, always amazing and friendly service. Everything tastes great but the salmon sliders and shrimp ceviche are must haves.
Fun atmosphere, nice views, good happy hour menu. Kind staff.
Nice scenery & food. Very small amounts though for the price. Wheelchair accessibility: No Food : 4/5 |
Great vibes and views. Very stylish. Great place to talk over drinks.
The Atmosphere was very inviting. Even though it was at night the large windows allowed us to see the city lights across Lake Washington. Downside.. very limited parking.
Its taken me a long time to write this review. Ive never written one, but Ive never had an experience like the one I had here, and its taken me a while to process. I came in on July 26th, 2024. My sister was a month away from going away to college for the first time, and I wanted to do something nice with her before she left. It was a sunny day and anyone who lives in the area knows you really have to make the most of them, so we decided we would treat ourselves to a nice lakeside restaurant. Long story short (although I will leave the full story below if youd like to read more), the server treated us vastly different than everyone else he served including the table that was right next to us. He looked upset to even have to serve us and never checked up on us after he brought us our drinks despite coming back repeatedly to check on the table next to us. He also took over 45 minutes to bring us 2 orders of fish and chips and a kids meal. He took so long that my sister and little cousin got up to use the bathroom again while we waited and they said that they saw the server and a coworker SITTING and LAUGHING at them when they walked by. Finally, when the food finally arrived, it was all COLD to the touch. I was infuriated as it was beyond clear to me at that moment that we were being discriminated against in plain sight. The server sped off as soon as he dropped off our food and only returned to check on the table next to us yet again, but not on ours. He was clearly avoiding acknowledging me in any way after his interaction with the next table, so I had to call him over. I said, EXCUSE ME, we waited over 30 minutes for our food, and its COLD. He knew he was wrong because he didnt even try to deny it. Instead, he said he would take EVERYTHING off the bill. And he did but clearly only because he knows he messed up severely. We left the restaurant, and its taken me a while to process, but I still feel really sad and shocked about how we were treated. I know racism still existed but to be treated with such disgust and disregard in a professional, public, and crowded environment was something I didnt think anyone, especially an EMPLOYEE at their JOB, would have the balls to do. I dont really know how to end this other than saying I think this issue goes deeper than just the server (why did he think it was okay to act this way?). I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone who believes in equality, and writing a review honestly just doesnt do what happened justice. My sister left for college yesterday, and we never got to do anything special again. We were scared to go out to eat again out of fear of having to go through discrimination again. I dont think I can quite express the impact this experience has had on us but if it leaves you with anything, it should be a reminder that progress unfortunately still needs to be made in our society.
Service is always great here. The food menu options are amazing. Everything is good from your basic fish and chips which are not so basic to an Asian chicken salad with grilled chicken that tastes awesome. The mashed potatoes and steak options are good. Even a burger is excellent hair. Tons of drink options and even a bar with great happy hour. Highly recommend this place. Parking can be a little difficult as the parking lot is very small but theyre on the water. So you just have to park down the street.
Right from the start, the service was fast and friendly. I had the Beachhouse burger, and it was awesome! Their waterfront view is great, too!
Great food!
Everything was perfect, Happy Birthday Izzy! Thanks for sharing your cake with us!
Food was okay. The staff were not at all friendly and this is the first time I have experienced such kind of behaviour in this area. Forget about smiling, they don t even check on their customers. Had to call them again and again to place an order. They do not accept reservations and also the outiside seating wasn t available. I think the management is not worried about customer experiences because I can see a lot of reviews about poor staff behaviour but there is no action taken yet.
My only complaint is that the restroom is on the 2nd floor and no elevator. Impossible for a handicapped person
Fish tacos ate awful & calamari size is now much smaller with roasted peppers, overall very disappointing in the food
Delicious food and drinks paired with stunning views of the lake WA. Always make a memorable dining experience. However, the portions are a bit on the small side.
Nice atmosphere right on the water. Got to see the ducks fed and sun bathe. Great stop for happy hour.
have been twice. food is good. although when asked if something was spicey (tex mex salad) was told no and it was very much. view is beautiful. staff are friendly. but wow is it noisy. like bar on friday night loud. But this was a sunday morning. 4 large group tables is too many only 3 were used when we were there. especially when 2 are very loud and linger for awhile. we cut our mealtime short because we couldnt hear each other. i almost asked to switch to a booth. would have been tight fit and less of a view but likely quiter. also i think bathrooms are upstairs so not sure how ADA compliant that is.
My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat after shopping and I m glad we did! My wife s a very picky eater, so eating out is sometimes a challenge. She asked the waitress, Damares what she would recommend and she said the Salmon sliders. They were sooooo good! 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely order some for myself when we come back. Food 9/10, but the service made it a 10/10 experience. Damares was super friendly and patient with us. I can only hope next time we stop in, she s our server.
Nice little joint next to the Lake Washington. Hidden jewel, thats for sure. A+
We had the arugula salad and it was excellent. Fish and chips were pretty good as well.
beautiful spot, beautiful view. if theres a wait for a table dont hesitate to grab a lounge table like I did, theres great seating and views there. you can also wait at a table in the lounge until they call your name for for a dining area table if you like...nice option. there is no handicap accessible bathroom here, it is up a flight of stairs. that is why its not 5 stars. the food is delicious. you must try the blackened salmon burger....just wow!
Great place great atmosphere great location
Even on a cloudy day the view and the atmosphere were great. The service was exemplary and the food was excellent and plentiful.
Always my favorite place for lunch or dinner
Decent, consistent, and pricey for lunch. Menu could have more non dairy choices outside of salad. You pay for the view. The staff was over the top and bilingual in Spanish, which I enjoyed to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, as we (a Latina) only get one month. Our service was impeccable.
Crowded, noisy, great view and atmosphere.
Food was fine, the service could be better I am updating my review... This time we got a different server, he was great. The crab cakes were just ok. Halibut fish and chips were very good.
Decided to stop in after work on a Wednesday. The very small parking lot was almost full, and the inside was about half full. The staff at the front looked confused when I walked in, so much so I asked if they were open. The other staff members seemed to have strange attitudes as well. They generally did their jobs, but seemed overburdened and distracted. I had to wait quite awhile to order food after my drink was brought. I ordered crab cakes and a cocktail from the specials menu. Including tip was $45. The cocktail was strong, and the (2) crab cakes were decent. Worth $45? Im not sure. The restaurant does have the most prime location of nearly any restaurant ever. It sits directly on the water, and has its own pier. They even offer call ahead take out for boats! Parking: Very small, narrow lot. Some street parking is available nearby. Has a pier for boat parking. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible.
The salmon sliders were fantastic. Fish tacos were good. Drinks were stronger than expected. I came through on a business trip. This was a great lunch spot after getting off the plane. Bar area was open seating and had good views. Parking: Small parking lot but there did appear to be street parking.
If you are looking for below average food, average service but amazing views, this is the place to be.
Enjoyed our experience at Beach House. Great location, great food/drink, great staff and the owner is awesome. Highly recommend!
What a fantastic location, I can t stay away! I called ahead as I had a special date coming up and the staff went above and beyond for me. Wonderful staff, tasty food and beverages. Can t recommend this spot enough!!
Great low key spot
Love this place. Food was great, the service also, and its right by the lake! Very pleasant.
Good taste and nice service. One waitress has no smile. Anything happened ? Could my friend has a discount on his birthday ? Food
Happening summer spot with tasty eats!
Atmosphere, staff and view were excellent. The food is disgusting. I would compare it it undercooked TV dinners.
Their website says closes at 10pm on the weekend but when you show up at 9:35pm they won t seat you even for just a drink at the bar. Makes sense. Thanks for wasting my time coming out.
Popped into the Beachhouse for happy hour last week. The great view matched the service we had in the bar with Damaras. The popcorn shrimp and Brussels sprouts did not disappoint. Looking forward to coming back!
Although the food is great and we ve been to this place many times, I m posting this review because we just had a bad experience. We called this place in advance to reserve a table for 1:30 pm. They said that they don t make reservations and they have a walk-in policy and waiting time would be about 30 minutes. We said ok and showed up at 1:30 pm to find a table/join the waitlist. Surprisingly, they told us that they close between 2-3:30 pm on the weekends -something they never mentioned on the phone- and they couldn t let us in because there was no table available at the time. We got such a big frustration to hear that, especially having driven from Seattle to Kirkland only to dine in to this restaurant. If you have a no reservation policy and close your restaurant in the middle of the day, at least please inform people accordingly when they call you.
Food and drinks are good and this is the Best view in Washington overlooking the water at sunset.
My goto in Kirkland for a laid-back atmosphere and great food. Parking: Small lot and street parking Food : 4/5 |
Outstanding experience! Our server Madelynn provided great service and the chefs made excellent dishes. We had the ceviche shrimp, Brussels sprouts, kids quesadilla, seafood cobb salad, house martini and a pleasant Italian Pinot Grigio wine. The ambiance was nice - air conditioned, music mellow and a beautiful lakefront view. Highly recommend and will be back! Thank you!
Slow service, decent food in an incredible setting with reasonable prices is what you will find here. Portions are meh for what you get but the views make up for it
The potstickers was not worth it
Good food
This place is certainly losing its charm. It used to be on must do whenever I visited Kirkland. But of recent it is plagued with unpleasant hosts, long wait time and general lack of customer service. So these days I avoid this place given the extremely poor service. Parking: Look for street parking
Steak tips and wedge salad way too much balsamic!!!
Seated right away. Good wait staff.
Fun location and atmosphere. Food was mediocre at best. Service was good but we wouldnt likely return for dinner. Maybe happy hour.
Food sucked and the waitress seemed annoyed that we were even there. Seafood fettuccine was a blech hodgepodge. They apparently don t believe in seasoning food here. My wife didn t care much for the salmon either. Bunch of drunk old rich folk if that s your crowd.
Delicious arugula salad and blackened salmon sandwich. Very loud joint.
Ordered a Salad and much of the greens were rotten. Nice ambience, bad food.
Loud and slow service. But you can t beat being on the water. Surprisingly diverse menu and solid drinks.
We went there July 7th. 4 adults and a child. I was wearing 2 braces and had to go down 3 different sets of stairs to get to a table that was outside. My cod and chips were overcooked, another adults order had fries that were salted to much. She finally got replacement fries at the end of the meal. For what I paid for everyones meal, it was overpriced. I was a guest from out of town and I will not go back to this or any of their locations.
Went here for the first time today. Nice place with a beautiful view of Lake Washington! I had the Southwest blackened chicken salad, which besides the chicken being too spicy hot, its a boring salad. Not so impressed. And if you want a 1/4 of an Avocado added, its an additional $3. So I ended up paying $23 for a boring salad. The staff was friendly and did a nice job. I MIGHT give them one more try with a different menu item. They have a very small parking lot.
The food was delicious, the price was reasonable, and the service was great. Overall nice dining experience. Would recommend
Such beautiful views, good wines and great Kung Pow Chicken
It was our first time. Lots of staff but staff didnt greet at the door and took forever. People talking on speaker on their cell phones when seated. Wanted to get a drink but never came to ask us on if we needed anything had to grab waiter Daniel J for items and the said forget it on adding additional stuff. Then took forever to bring the bill. Lots of staff standing around talking to each other, but you have to get up to get any help.
Lunch was great, the hibiscus mai tai was really good totally unexpected but awesome, i had two
Tranquil and
Great happy hour menu, generous servings, and wonderful meals. Definitely coming back!!!
Our go to place for a relaxing meal
This place is awesome, should be 5 stars all around!!! Food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing and the service was aces!!!! Jesus was the best!
The best Mai Tai
Food is mediocre. Service is cold. It would be nice to show on the happy hour menu when the happy hour is, especially if the staff will not even mention it.
Service-1/10 Absolutely unacceptable service. Cute girls but incredibly rude and so unwelcoming. Our server was okay but didn t even bother to mention the happy hour. Brussels sprouts were room temperature BH burgers: I asked for medium burger but got well done patty House sauce was mild lack flavor Fries taste like frozen fries Ambiance is okay. ***Do yourself a favor and get yourself a burger and fries from Five Guys and thank me later**
Im giving it only 4 stars for service because they dont offer happy hour outside on the deck. Thats the oddest thing Ive ever heard as a previous restauranteur and family of restauranteurs. It also should have been mentioned prior to be seated before they asked if we desired to be seated outside.
Today my friend and I had the absolute pleasure to have lunch at this jewel of a restaurant. Tucked away in a quiet location on the eastern shore of Lake Washington, is one of the best restaurants we have dined. Even though it was mostly full by 11:30, we got a charming booth in the bar with a stunning vista view of the water. Our server Molly, was clearly busy with tasks for both the bar and food patrons. Yet, she managed these with grace and an understated charm. I cannot thank her enough for making our dining experience a spectacularly memorable. She was warm, friendly and highly attentive. I expect she will advance to the highest levels of any position serving guests with excellence. The entrees were served on huge plates piled high with visually appealing food. The Tofu Bowl and the Seafood Fettucine were delicious, hot, and perfectly spiced (The Seafood Fettucine left me craving more - among the best in my 50 years of dining.) I look forward to many returns to the Beach House! Note: Parking - there is a dedicated parking lot about 100 yards north of the restaurant on the right side of the street which is a marvelous perk in an area known for limited parking.
Pretty good for the price. For some reason they gave us two menus with two different prices. The lower one was the new pricing. The bread pudding was disappointing. The bread itself was flavorless and it didnt even come with the salted caramel ice cream. They gave us vanilla and it had large chunks of ice in it, and didnt even mention they were out. Avoid.
Great brunch spot with beautiful waterfront views, great food & drink. Highly recommend the bloody Mary
Was told the wait was 20-30 minutes. It took 1hr 40 min. Online reservation and waitlist were disabled. The food was good. Not worth the wait, though. Proceed with caution.
very slow getting a table. fries were soggy.
Absolutely terrible service. They had no respect for the waitlist and even though I was on it they said that they couldnt seat us. We were a party of 9 and they dont take reservations over the phone either so it was really inconvenient. We took our party somewhere else. Will not be coming back.
All day Happy Hour on Monday. We had a great time. Stopped in for a sunset drink and appetizers. The beef kabobs we excellent. The cod fish tacos looked good, but we didnt order them. Great spot.
We opted for takeout since its a busy area with a small parking lot. The battered cod with fries (Fish n chips) was great, my Cedar plank salmon was kind of a bummer/ dud: it was missing the rice, the lemon sauce tasted like overly salted, melted cream cheese, salmon was cooked well though. Conclusion: definitely not worth the price. Parking: They do have their own, small parking lot (about 8-9 spots?). Bring an extra dose of patience for large trucks trying to maneuver in there.
Very chic and cozy house restaurant on the water. The wait staff were very nice and the service was has well. I enjoyed the comfy atmosphere and views of the water. The food was very good but a slight on the smaller portion size. Not a real big menu but that was ok. All in all, not a bad visit if you wish to feel like the upper crust and not spend a ton.
Great menu fair pricing. Salmon on Cedar plank best. Seafood skewers had small scallops and shrimp. Attentive service. Bit loud. Recommend a booth.
Bartenders were just steadily making fun of people the whole time I was there , other than their immature banter, I enjoyed the food
Beautiful view of lake Washington, friendly staff, good coffee, decent dishes. We waited for a very long time to be seated and for our food to arrive, granted we did have a large party. Some of the food was cold, and three of us found hair in our food I would go back to try it again, but was a little disappointed. Dietary restrictions: No milk alternatives for coffee. Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessible restroom.
Delicious food with a beautiful look of the lake
The food was so gross I m honestly shocked people eat here . We ordered the cod & chips, the arugula salad, and the sticky chicken wings. The cod was overcooked, the fries were lackluster and flimsy. The arugula salad was extremely bitter and the leaves were yellow and discolored, so we immediately stopped eating it. Also the apples in it were soggy and browned. The chicken wings were also terrible. They tasted like they had been cooked, left out for a while, and then heated up again. Extremely chewy and I couldn t even eat a whole one it was so bad. The sauce they put on top you can buy at the store. It s a cute place on the water but I would never eat their food here again.
Amazing waterfront property You literally sit underwater and the food and prices are great
Beautiful view, the prawns and Brussels sprouts was good
Great service, amazing food, and beautiful view.
Me and my family celebrated my grandmothers birthday today and came into Kirkland Beach house for dinner, they went above and beyond I have never had service that was this good! They offered to store our cake for us and bring it out when ready and they even provided us candles! They were very quick with everything, our table took a little longer than usually but not too long, but they made sure we had appetizers ready at our table when we were seated and I loved everything that I ordered! I would recommend this place 100% I don t usually write reviews but I had to make sure to write one for this place! Thank you to all the wonderful staff here at Kirkland Beach House! We will be back!
Food was disappointing. Not planning to return Food
Great food nice view
Jose is one of a kind busser great service recommend 10/10
Superb Food
Really good food and brunch was perfect! Loved their kitchen sink bloody Mary! Just needed hot sauce. And my crab Benedict was really good! The amount of crab on it seemed a little small under the poached egg. I wish it had a little more. You can barely see it in my picture. But overall, the food was yummy and definitely fresh! The potatoes on the side were perfect! My friends ketchup that came with her classic breakfast was really watery though.. luckily we had extra normal ketchup to share with her lol. Service was pretty good but it seemed like we waited a little while for the food to come out and one guy at our table asked for sugar for his iced tea and never got it so we had to ask again and got it from someone else right away. We loved the view inside the restaurant too, the lake was so pretty and watching the birds and people out there kept us relaxed. I would definitely come back! The rest of their menu sounded really good too!
Great food, amazing service (esp. Makenzie and Selina), and waterfront dining without the waterfront prices. We go here at least twice a month for all these reasons and more.
Great service and good food and drink options with a great view of the lake. Likes their Hazy IPA beer which was recommended by the guy who was serving us and was really helpful. If I had more time would have loved to hang around for a little longer.
Gorgeous views of lake Washington! Sat at the bar for a couple of drinks. No food. Good service, small place but cute. Will definitely be back for outdoor seating in the summer!!
One of my favorite places and views (lake view is amazing any time of the day!) Parking: The places in front of the bar are somewhat limited (6-8), but there is plenty of spots along the street and in the park right next to it Food : 4/5 |
The food was great and the view... beautiful.
Look out the window because the view at night is nice. I got the ahi tuna poke. It had a generous amount of fresh tuna and just the right amount of rice for it to not be too heavy. The bread pudding was a pleasant surprise. Theres a fairly hefty serving so you might want to share it with someone.
Nice and cozy place for a social dinner.
One of the places on the coast. It was nice weather for sitting outside enjoying great sunny weather, but they could not let me get draft beer in glasses, only cans. Was a bit disappointed of such inflexibility.
Its been years since I was a regular at the Beach House on Kirkland waterfront. I made reservations for two as I had a client I wanted to take out for a chillaxing environment with good food and drinks . Upon arriving I hope the hostess that I would like to give up my reservations and I can sit at the bar. They were happy as it was going to be a busy Sunday morning. I was greeted by Dan and Madelynn. Love the positive vibes and excellent customer service skillset. My cranberry mimosas and food was amazing and wow did it get busy at the Beach House and it was cool to see Dan and Madelynn handle their business like true professionals. My client failed to come due to a hangover but, I will be back with more clients and friends in the near future. Keep up the good work Kirkland Beach House. You are the best on Kirkland waterfront. Sincerely Farmer J
Great service, beautiful view, the food is not impressive. Paella was very not paella-like.
Went for happy hour and was not disappointed. Love the calamari. Wonderful service and great location.
Great place to hang out.
Nice lunch restaurant. Good food and friendly staff. The only downside is parking is terrible.
Food was great...however our waitress seemed to be more interested in her social media accounts than her customers.
Terrible service. Waited 30 min before ordering, 30 min later the waitress said she forgot what we ordered and wanted to put in a new order. The manager said eh it s her first mistake . Most of the people sitting in our section had been waiting a while like us and had no orders in front of them either. I think a restaurant should value their customers time and not defend their employees when they re in the wrong. Poor example of a manager might I ad.
Delicious food, service was fast and the view was INCREDIBLE. Parking is a bit limited. We had multiple families and there were no qualms for separate checks. negative things...restrooms were upstairs, so people with mobility issues wouldnt be able to use the restroom and my bill came - $23, gave waitress $40 & she asked if I wanted change.....uh, yes....a $17 tip is extremely unreasonable.
like the atmosphere
Delicious cocktails. Beautiful view.
Nice Lake front restaurant
Great location and not a bad seat in the house. Lots of food for your buck. The bathrooms are not handicap accessible which was a pain for myself who cannot walk at the moment. I would go for food before I went for drinks. They were out of a lot of items too. The view was worth it more than anything.
Went here for a Birthday lunch with my family. The experience was great. Everyone loved there meals. The staff were nice and separated the bills with our large group.
Celebrating my husbands 47th birthday and he picked this place out and we both had a great experience. Our waitress was great and the atmosphere was nice. Our food and drinks was delicious Their parking area is very small but there is street.
Decent breakfast with friendly staff. Cant ask for much more!
I loved everything was wonderful.
Pretty standard bar & grill. The view and service are quite wonderful. Our server offered solid drink recommendations and the food was served expeditiously. I had the fish tacos and the calamari as an appetizer. Would recommend both. Gets quite busy - call ahead. 4ish stars is just about right!
Great food, gorgeous views
Great food, etc and great sunset
Our server was so amazing! The food was perfect and atmosphere was wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant
Great food and service, plus amazing view. Bartender, Ryan, was phenomenal. Spicy seafood fettuccine was great.
A rather relaxed atmosphere, but the service extremely attentive. The food was extremely filling and the lakeside view is incredible.
The food was good, a lot of gravy on my short ribs which overpowered the food. The short ribs were tender and tasteful they just didnt need two different sauces in them. I scraped off most of the sauce too actually taste the meat. The food did taste good though. Nice view of the water. Parking: Very little parking at the restaurant. You have to park i6n the street or at the city lot down the street.
McKinleigh was our server & she was Absolutely amazing. We shared our story with her how we recently got married & she brought us the Kahula Toffee Chocolate Cake on the house, after the most incredible salad & seafood fettuccine dish. Thx you McKinleigh for a wonderful meal & experience. Warm Regards, Cary & Kerri
This review is only for their breakfast. Ordered the classic breakfast. The bacon was under cooked, not even a little crispy. The ranch potatoes were deep fried so it was dripping with grease who wants to eat that? The coffee was bitter and had little favor so had to over load it with sugar to compensate for the flavor. The host acted with sure attitude as if this is some type of high end restaurant, so in the end will not come back.Garbage food beautiful scenery of Lake, Washington.
This place has really fallen off. It s just a money grab now based on past performance. My wife and I ordered crab cake benedicts which is technically off the menu since they have crab benedicts instead. Never had a problem ordering it as crab cake since they also have appetizer crab cake orders. It s not very hard to make it into a Benedict. Well, our server first tells us we can t get the appetizer we like bc lunch doesn t start until 2 (it was 130 and she gave us the excuse that the cooks needed time to prep- which I m sure they prob already started and would have been worth her asking). Worst part, is that the crab cake benedicts came out extremely dry with barely any hollandaise sauce. When we get the bill they upcharged each order $10 for switching to crab cake instead of crab Benny. What?!!! None of this was told to us or we wouldn t have gone through with it. The waitress simply says, Oh sorry. I probably should have told you. Ummm ya think? We ve ordered this no joke 10+ times and never had an issue with the bill. Always was charged the normal price of a crab Benedict. Oh well. Not worth our money. Way too overpriced. Food is completely overrated.
My wife and I came for lunch. When you first walk in the place just smells funny. They had a fan plugged in by the front lobby, not sure what had happened. When we were seated, the seat cushions were completely torn up. There was a small piece of lettuce on the table top that we brushed away once seated. The table next to us had what looked like blue painters tape all over the table leg feet, appearing to hold it together. The waitress we had was ok, nothing special, and the food was ok, again nothing special. I had the blackened salmon sandwich, which was just ok. Cleanliness is so important in a restaurant for my wife and I, we wont be back.
Long time Kirkland resident, who used to enjoy the Beach House back in the day, but hadn t been for several years. You know how there are restaurants that survive mostly on their location and prior reputation? Welcome to the Beach House. Food was terrible, service was worse. There wasn t one redeeming quality about the meal. The calamari appetizer had to be sent back because it was cold, the salads arrived AFTER the entrees, and the server didn t once ask us if our meals were ok or if we needed anything. There were four of us, and no one enjoyed their meal. We sat down at 5:15 PM on a Saturday. This is notable because it was early in the evening and we were told that they were out of fish and chips. Uhhh .it s the BEACH House, and you re in the Seattle area. How do you run out of fish and chips before the dinner rush has even started!? Also, they are clearly in violation of ADA laws as there are no restrooms downstairs, with the only bathrooms being up a narrow winding staircase. It s obvious that the Beach House is too arrogant to care about their many bad reviews as they respond to none of them. There are lots of great restaurants in Kirkland, many of which also offer a waterfront view experience. Spend your money elsewhere. Wheelchair accessibility: None.
Great food, great atmosphere, and great service! Hard to find all of that in one place! Will return
I swear they put an entire head off garlic on the fries, they were very good. The sandwich was also nicely balanced
Understaffed. Think BMW with a flat tire.
My most favorite lake front restaurant on the entire Eastside! Amazing drinks and incredible food! The fish tacos and the Beach House burger are over the top delicious. Fun and cozy restaurant wirh outstanding Lake WA views for relaxing atmospher. Super attentive and fantastic servers! Great prices that wont break the bank for the quality and amount of food you will get there!
I always enjoy going To the beach house. The atmosphere The view the staff are all fantastic.Everything Ive ever ordered I have enjoyed great place to take friends. Food
Fun, unique drinks. Amazing short ribs.
Izzy is one of my favorite bartenders at Beach House Bar and Grill! She is always glowing and energetic... such a nice addition to the atmosphere!
The food and service was 1st class. The view on the lake was pleasant and the friendly staff made the whole experience comforting. Parking: Peak time parking is available on side streets, the lot is small and fills quickly. Wheelchair accessibility: As I recall the restrooms are up a flight of stairs and I believe they have an accessible restroom on the 1st floor. There is accessible dining here.
This place is great. I ve had breakfast, brunch, and dinner here and they re all great. Atmosphere is amazing and there is view of the lake from every seat. They also have a dock if your coming in from the lake!
Recommended by a friend! Great service by everyone there. Clean seating and beautiful view on the water. Burger I had was great! Nice place to relax for a meal and drinks!
Top dog in Kirkland when you need to take 5.
Amazing location, friendly service.
Good view. Parking lot is limited.
If I could give a negative for service I would. Food was ok and the view was beautiful!
Fantastic service, fantastic calamari! Our waitress, Ana, was so friendly, attentive, and helpful. Get the Mai Tai, it was the best we ever had. Beautiful view of the sunset overlooking the water. Vegetarian options: They ve got a veggie burger and a veggie bowl.
The Beachhouse is and always will be the best casual dining option in Kirkland. Period. The staff is friendly, food is great and you cant beat the view!

Fav place to chat with my parents or have sister time ! Cozy, cute, right on the water can be romantic with a partner! It s always my go to in Kirkland! Also staff are friends Owner is kind! Ordered: Beef skewer Pecan salad Crab Benedict Fish and chips Cesar salad Salmon sandwich Spicy shrimp Beef ribs Some of my all time favs
Nice place to hang out with good food and a view.
The atmosphere and sunset really make this place shine. Do not miss
Diverse menu with consistently delicious food. HH menu is full of great options at true HH pricing. Try the $8 red wine and you wont be disappointed. Atmosphere also great for a meet up or a couple hours of work. Parking: Tiny lot. I just plan to park across the street. There is a park next door so on sunny days parking can be challenging.
So much fun with my favorite people. I love the food and the vibe.
Below average service. Mediocre food with hideous coffee. No happy hour cocktails. Good views.
We went there for brunch and really enjoyed the food and drinks. I have the day the service was exceptional and that is what keeps us coming back. Our waitress, Anna P., is the best and should be recognized for her stellar customer service.
First time experience was fantastic all the way around!!!
Went to lunch here with coworkers, food was fine, a little pricey for what you get. I recommend the fish and chips.
Great brunch Beautiful view
Amazing food and service
One of the best happy hour spots in downtown Kirkland! Love the menu, bar ambiance, and waterfront views. Always a good vibe here.
Great waterfront restaurant
