The kebab was amazing, a little too salty but it was perfectly cooked, overall excellent food.

We arrived 5,15pm on a Friday night. No reservations. Asked for space for 2. Resto had two clients. Empty. Waiter asked the manager and we heard a rude no . No effort made to try to place us in an empty restaurant! Will never go back. Many restaurants out there.

Barg and soltani kabab is fantastic!

Only one employee is handling serving, managing pickups, and working the front desk, so the wait time is long. A bowl of white rice costs $9 before tax for takeout, which is unusually high for something so simple ..... 7 (17 cm ) deep container !!!Im very surprised by the response; it contains incorrect information.The unprofessional response to my message only further reflects on the competence of this business.

I love persian food but i was very dissapointed with my meal. I ordered the soltani which comes with saffron rice, 2 meats, salad and grilled tomatoes and it doesnt come with yogurt, theres an extra 5$ charge, mind you my meal was already 34.50$ . The food was BLAND . I ate 2 bites and was done. Aside from the food, the waiter Marvin was great. Polite, attentive and served us quickly Response to the owners comment: every persian restaurant ive been too, serves free yogurt with the meal. The 2 star isnt unfair, it is your incapability to better your restaurant with client feedback that is unfair. Dropped to 1 star because of owners response.

Amazing restaurant, excellent quality food, served beautifully, the filet Mignon was to die for, we were a party of five, every dish was tasty, the meat and chicken were juicy, nice salads for starters, the Persian tea was a very nice touch. Highly recommended, good value for your money.

Went again yesterday for more calamari! Still the best ever Wonderful discovery!! The best calamari I ever ate and the Ash soup is to die for, absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices and attentive staff. Our waiter was a sweetheart who took the time to explain the menu and had good suggestions. This place is a keeper. Another plus, bring your own wine. Make reservations though because although it was Thursday, many people were turned away because they didnt reserve.

Was a huge advocate of this resto, used to be amazing. Yesterday, received literally raw chicken in my plate. And even worse, had the audacity to charge for the plate minus the chicken AKA the rice and soup. For $10-$15 of greed to charge for sides when your main was raw, shows where this restaurants head is at. Needless to say, we wont be going back. Was a great few years while it lasted early in their history.

The restaurant claims the Barg is filet mignon but it was practically impossible to chew, lots of cartilage and non-tender pieces of meat. Unfortunate because it used to be a good restaurant.

Awful! They have No delivery, their kabab Torah is so bad! Joojeh was bad, the rice , salad and soups very bad , we paid 100$ and we couldn t even finish our meals. The only thing that was not too bad : Baghalipolo but full of garlic ( I like garlic but for one who doesn t like it is not acceptable)

You need to reserve, I didnt but was given a table up against a hot heater. Was given a glass of water and he took my order and We waited over 30 minutes. The waiter did not come back to refill my water. No bread basket. I just thought for the price it would had better service. I ordered chicken souvlaki. Although it was tender, it had a weird taste. At first I thought fishy I just couldnt put my finger on that flavor. Overall I was not impressed and will not go back.

The restaurant is small but lots of tables. Our group was 12 people and we were seated comfortably. It is usually not crowded and this was a Friday night, so it could have been crowded. I had the excellent lentil soup and the ghormeh sabzi, a beef stew and my friend had the baghli polo, a lamb shank. The food was well cooked and its a bring your own wine, so on the cheaper side. My wife is gluten intolerant and they have plenty of dishes that meet her approval. Vegetarian options: There are eggplant vegetarian dishes, grilled zuccini and grilled vegetables as well as the very good lentil soup. Parking: Lots of parking, shopping center. Kid-friendliness: You can bring kids here.

We drove 2 hrs from Ottawa to have lunch at this restaurant. Foods were so tasty, with BYOW option. Tea well brewed. Servers were nice and lovely. We had a very good time here with friends. Will definitely come back.

For the persian section, quality of food and taste does not justify the price...overpriced for what you get. You pay the same or even less in other places and you get better quality and flavour.

The quality of all Kanabs were really high, we got a mixed grilled plate for dinner with my colleagues; especially Kabab-e Barg was the best one that Ive ever had in any restaurants in Montreal. The soup (Ash-e reshte) was also very tasty.

I had already heard many good comments from friends on this spot. The place is very neat and well served, Sorena who served us, is a great waiter, so nice and so professional with his questions to make sure we are comfortable and are enjoying food. the foods itself it deserves more than Five star ratings. The best Chenje kebab that I ve ever taken.

It was shown open on Google map, We went there from a long distance and it was closed with just a small note on the door that we are in holiday for many days!

I and my son travelled to Montreal for his soccer tournament and this place was close to our hotel and had a good review. I ordered Soltani (Filet mignon kabab + Koobideh or ground beef skew kabab) and my son ordered Barg kebab (Filet mignon kabab) Koobideh and rice were just delicious and the meal portions were just right. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and it is clean. The Filet mignon kabab, however, was a combination of Filet mignon and another cheaper/chewy meat. The combination of meat on the skew was selected such that you eat one piece of Filet mignon followed by a piece of chewy meat. This was the case in both orders, very disappointing and cheating by the restaurant manager/owner. Service wasn t good either as most of the Iranian restaurants. I don t recommend their Filet mignon kabab.

Amazing food, and staff.

This restaurant was out of this world. Everything was delicious from the eggplant primo to the filet mignon and chicken mains. Fresh, aromatic, and just plain great. Special mention to Izzy the waiter (good luck in your future endeavours) who couldntt have been nicer. All in all, a hell of a meal.

Grill Select is one of our go-to places when we have family in town and want to take them to a good meal! The chicken brochettes are delicious.

We ordered Kabab Koobideh and Greek salad. Kababs taste was good. The salad was not really the greek salad but it was ok. It was more pricy than the similar competitors with a good quality. The service was longer than the estimated time they had mentioned.

Outstanding Persian food, right here in the West Island. The joojeh will melt in your mouth. Heres a secret: As strange as this will sound, they have the best club sandwich ever!

I got food from the lunch menu and their charged me their evening menu, although the difference is only $3 per plate, I find this type of behavior very dishonest.

Food was good. The only reason Im only giving 2 stars is because of the food. We were a table of 2 no one else was in the restaurent just us. At first we got seated by a guy waiter we made our order which was super easy 2 kabab koobideh and 2 aryana the waiter comes back because he forgot the order. How does someone who has only 1 table forgets the order? One other thing that made me mad was that we were served the soup and salad by him and than 3 other different waitress came to serve us the food . There is only 1 table of 2 in the restaurent and to change waiter 4 times was so confusing. Also my mom dropped her drink the waitress just comes and gives us napkins to clean it off first of all napkins didnt help at all and its the waiters job to do that. Also the waitress she did not come to check on us we had to keep on looking for them . They were just talking loud about their personal peroblems which is unprofissional at work place. When we asked for the food to go she brings us the take out plates and we had to that ourselfs too. I dont see a reason to tip them when they do nothing at all. And when we got greeted at the door and sat down he did not even put the menu infront of us just left it there. Same with the plates on the tabke a waiter is supposed to put it infront of the customers . But we did everything ourselfs. Also waiters are supposed to fill up ur water glass once its empty but no they were too busy chit chating

We had an outdoor Bridal Shower catered by Grill Select and it was a huge success! Food was delivered on time, hot and plentiful! Everyone thought it was delicious! I definitely recommend visiting Grill Select for an evening out or catering for your next event!

I had high hopes after friends recommended this place and I read great reviews. I must have gotten unlucky, because my experience did not meet my expectations. We arrived a little over and hour before closing time, so the issues may have stemmed from there. However, if you do not have time to provide the quality of service you usually do/should, please let customers know that you are not taking in more diners or something of the sort, otherwise they do not expect service to be lacking anything due to what time it is. We ordered quickly because we knew what we wanted. A few minutes later, the person comes to let us know theyre out of Ash, so we had no choice but to take salad. When the food arrived, we told the waiter immediately that we intend on ordering another plate of Barg OR Soltani to go and asked whether or not thats going to be an issue (since they had run our of soup, for example). He said no problem and asked that we order it soon since theyre staff leaves at 8:45. I let him know he can come back in 5 minutes and Ill know which one we want to reorder. He wasnt back in 5, nor 10 minutes even though he specifically asked me to place the order soon. 10 minutes later I called someone over and placed the order. It turns out, theyre out of the plates we had specifically asked about 15 minutes ago and were told were not an issue. We finished our food and waited for tea, but everybody was busy cleaning. Once again, we (and they) wanted to be out as soon as possible yet were waiting to be served. Finally at 8:50 I asked for it so we would have time to actually drink it. After we got our tea the waiter asked if he could give us our bill at tthe ame time because they were closing in 5 minutes. The food was not bad. The house salad was good. The filet mignon felt like it could have been cooked a little more, but we enjoyed the food overall.

This place is a small basic eating establishment in a strip mall across from BMO on St charles. Family run business, great friendly service, my favorite go to restaurent. I crave the food after a week or so, it is so fresh and tasty.Bring your own wine is a big bonus. Highly recommended. Leslie

We went for an early lunch today and were served rotted mixed lettuce underneath the ice bur salad. I spent 10 minutes picking out the rotted leaves and grew so disgusted that I couldnt eat my meal. The chicken was dry, the bread was hard and dry, the potatoes were soggy and oily. I used to enjoy eating at this restaurant, and came often. However, this is the first time Ive come back in over a year and a half since Covid. It was an awful lunch date with my husband. Turned my stomach. Do better!
