This place knows how to make food and cocktails! The tuna, duck breast, and risotto were each delicious. They have a black pepper old fashioned that is smooth and complex. Service is polite and helpful while maintaining a standard of excellence. It's a bit dark and the print is small on the menu but a cell phone light solved that.

Went for restaurant week, won't be going again. Sat outside which was fine since we booked late so won't hold that against them. First course of drinks was mid. They forgot to put in our second course of drinks and didn't realize until we asked 30 min later. We told them to cancel it. The food was the most disappointing part. Restaurant week offered a 3-course meal what is the cauliflower. I got the tagliatelle and no exaggeration it was probably the worst tagliatelle I've ever had. Looked bland, tasted more bland. Desert was unremarkable. We won't be back.

We came for Seattle restaurant week to try out this place and not coming back again. 1) They sat us in the outdoor patio in chilly weather because they said there is no more seating left indoors. I was told if a table or bar seat opened up, they would move us inside. A dad and daughter were sat down next to us (outside) an hour later. The dad went to the host and complained about the outside seating and was switched to an indoor table immediately. 2) The best food we ordered from the 3 course meal was the roasted cauliflower, the rest were bad. The French onion soup was watery and too sweet and the mussel pasta was extremely fishy and didn’t taste fresh. Even the dessert, crème brûlée and chocolate mousse was bad. Both had this strange grainy texture… Only saving grace of this place was our waitress. She was attentive and friendly. My issue is with the food quality and management practice.

Feast in Kirkland is a great option if you’re craving French cuisine in the area. Located conveniently in downtown Kirkland, it offers plenty of parking options, including free and paid lots, as well as street parking. It’s best to make a reservation, especially on busy days, but walk-ins are also possible if you’re lucky. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit indoors, and while it was a bit dimly lit, the decor added a charming, romantic atmosphere. If it’s your first time here, I highly recommend going for the 3-course option at the back of the menu. It’s a great way to sample a variety of dishes at a reasonable price. We started with the Pâté De Poulet and Truffles Escargot. Both were delicious and gave an authentic taste of French cuisine, though they might not be for everyone if you’re new to French dishes like pâté and escargot. For our entrees, we had the Seared Duck Breast, Stuffed Quail, and Mussels. While the small plates were impressive, the mains were a bit less so. The duck breast was tender and juicy, but the accompanying veggies and sauce were just okay. The quail was flavorful, and it’s been a while since I’ve had quail in the U.S., but the stuffing felt out of place. The mussels had a nice texture, and although the sauce wasn’t to my taste, it paired well with the bread, and my partner enjoyed it. French cuisine is typically on the pricier side, and Feast is no exception. But the overall experience is still worthwhile, especially with the standout small plates. I’m looking forward to trying their foie gras and onion soup on a future visit. If you’re in the mood for French food in Kirkland, Feast is definitely worth a try, particularly for those looking for a cozy, romantic setting with authentic flavors.

Too bad food. Food looks fine, but the food quality was bad. For 4 people, it was over $300. Not worthy at all. Seems they don't have any professional chef. Worst fine restaurant in Kirkland. Taste were terrible!!! Their drinks were the best Clam pasta - smelly old clams! Pate - seems they made long time ago. Duck breast - paired with weird beans Mushroom risotto - so so. French onion soup - terrible!!!

We really enjoyed the combination of energetic yet classy ambience, great service, clever design elements to menu and interior, craft cocktails, and Great Food in every course. The beverage and food presentation are a notch above the ordinary. The ingredients and preparation truly delicious. In the pricey side, but Feast delivers o. The promise of quality French inspired gastronomy. Everything in every one of the three courses delighted.

A classy, cozy spot with great drinks and decadent food. The best escargot I've ever had, the best tequila I've ever tried and a burger filled with truffle, foie gras and black garlic. Foie gras in almost everything, including the creme brulee (which sounds gross) but was divine. Some of the absolute best steak frites we've ever had with perfect shoestring fries, compound butter and a Demi glace rich with tyme. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and made it a fun experience. We will definitely be back.

Excellent service and good food. We tried the Pork chop and halibut for entrees and got a baguette on the side. Both entrees were delicious and the truffle butter that came with baguette tasted really good. Tried the day’s special IPA which happened to be sourced from a local brewery and was perfectly crisp and fruity.

We came here for restaurant week and had the worst meal of our lives. Everything from the appetizers, dessert, and service were very underwhelming. We had the mussels and ragu tagliatelle and the ragu had an unappetizing smell and appearance and was by far the worst we ve had. The mussels tasted fishy and had a sauce that did not pair well. We will not be back- not worth it even for restaurant week.

Feast in Kirkland stands out as an excellent choice for those seeking French cuisine in the area. Conveniently situated in downtown Kirkland, the restaurant offers ample parking options, including both free and paid lots, as well as street parking. It is advisable to make a reservation, particularly during peak times; however, walk-ins may be accommodated depending on availability. The establishment provides both indoor and outdoor seating, and we chose to dine indoors. Although the lighting was somewhat subdued, the decor contributed to a charming and romantic ambiance. For first-time visitors, I highly recommend opting for the three-course menu available at the back of the menu, as it allows for a delightful sampling of various dishes at a reasonable price point. We began our meal with the Pâté De Poulet and Truffles Escargot, both of which were exquisite and offered an authentic introduction to French cuisine though they may not appeal to everyone, particularly those unaccustomed to dishes such as pâté and escargot. For our main courses, we selected the Seared Duck Breast, Stuffed Quail, and Mussels, each of which showcased the restaurants commitment to quality and flavor.

Should be five stars across the board but they took the burger off the happy hour menu for... Chef-y reasons I guess. Substituted with a chicken and bie sandwich which is not the same at all. Very very disappointing. Was our favorite happy hour place, hands down. But eliminating the burger, in summer, is just baffling. Staff is fantastic. Outdoor seating is fantastic. Again, should be five stars. Maybe they will bring the burger back.

If I had to compare the food quality to the price, I would rate this place around 2 stars. I tried several dishes, and here s my take: The asparagus starter, paired with soft cheese, had potential but was overcooked and lacked the desired crunch; it should have been more al dente. The foie gras had an interesting touch with pickled strawberries, but it was overly salted and too small for the price. The chicken pâté was enjoyable, but the spinach salad was very basic. The halibut was dry and bland, and the accompanying sauce and mushrooms did nothing to enhance it. The coffee crème brûlée was underwhelming; we ordered one dessert for three people and barely finished half, which is unusual for us. The pappardelle pasta was overly oily and lacked flavor. The risotto was decent, but only in comparison to the other dishes; it was far from the best I ve had. The service was just OK. The waiter spilled two teas and brought new ones, saying he wouldn t add them to the bill. However, he did charge for all the teas, both spilled and not spilled. It was kind of weird service. Some street parking is available, which is convenient. The atmosphere was really nice, but the food was disappointing overall. The high dining scene in Seattle continues to disappoint. Kid-friendliness: Not a kid friendly restaurant

One of the most disappointing food experiences I ve had in a very long time. Steak came out undercooked and cold, returned it and got it back well done. Halibut Fish was very bland and tasteless. Quail was tiny and had no flavor, salmon salad is purely lettuce and salmon, that s it. Service was slow and took a while to even get drinks. Unfortunately I can t recommend it.

If you are searching for a casual gourmet cuisine bistro, this is a wonderful place. The ambience is inviting, sophisticated with very attentive and efficient service. Their menu has something for every palate, with an attention to detail. Food is wonderfully elaborated, with high quality ingredients, great taste and transport you to a French environment with freshly created drinks . If you are like me , an individual with back issues they selected nicely crafted and comfortable chairs, that enhance a pain reduced experience, even if you sit in the bar . I loved my mushroom Rissotto and the coffee crème brûlée was unforgettable. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive to your experience. I look forward to going back and taste more dishes from their menu

April 22, 2024

Meh. Overpriced, even for Kirkland. Fries were good but everything else was just ok. Two of four entrees had to sent back. We had the pasta with clams and it arrived cold, clumpy and improperly prepared. Server tried to tell us that is just how fresh pasta is prepared. When they delivered the corrected plate, he said made a snide comment that it had now been cooked to our liking. It was so rude and uncalled for. All around, very mid, as the kids say. Would not go back.

Highly recommend! Went for restaurant week, pro tip, make a reservation. Place was packed, but we were seated immediately, groups before were not as lucky. Portion sizes far exceeded expectations. For apps we got the pate and carrots. Easily enough for 2 meals. Pate was amazing, note it does have egg. Carrots were cooked great and giant portion, couldnt finish them. For main, the duck cassoulet was rich and tasty, well seasoned. Could have had a few more carrots or veg in there but again great portions. Mushroom risotto also fantastic. Could have stopped there but we also had dessert, sorbet and chocolate mousse. Both very decadent, just the rich size, a couple mouthfuls after an amazing meal. Will be back. Waiter went out of his way to check on food allergies and provide alternative suggestions.

Fabulous, as always! This time celebrating a birthday. Hard to have any critiques, only suggestion is be a bit more subtle about checking tables and timing courses. We were rushed through our appetizers, and mains showed up too early, we let the server know and she was a gem and slowed her roll. A nice dinner, just over $375 for two with apps, drinks, mains, desserts, and after dinner drinks.

Feast is my absolute go to for cocktails. I always get the Vesper and my partner gets the Bourbon Au Poivre - both of which are draft cocktails by the way and still taste fantastic. We have not yet had food here (outside of fries which are solid), but we look forward to soon.

When asking the staff about it they pretended to be concerned, but then handed me the bag with the cold food. Im sure the food would have been great if it was prepared closer to the time I scheduled to pick up. As I was walking out I was luckily stopped by a waitress who said my desert wasn t in the bag. I waited almost 10 minutes for the cold dessert to come out. I ordered a medium-rare and my wife a medium. Both of ours were medium-rare with a rare center. I don t mind the rare but my wife couldn t eat the rare bit. I would have expected a more precisely cooked steak for $55. I will say I enjoyed the flavor with the included sauce and the butter that came with the bread was excellent. Good veggies as well, and the meat was cooked at my desired term, all made this dish a perfect rating. Tuna Ahi seared was well prepared, soft and flavorful. Clam linguini was buttery and delicious. Oh, their baguette with pistachio butter was so good too. They carry coffee from a local Kirkland store, please have a French press with your Crembrulee! Decent wine list and cocktails too. Abience is great for a romantic date. Somewhat quiet but not overwhelmingly silent.

Had been want to try Feast for some time. Finally booked a table for restaurant week. The downtown Kirkland location is good and easy to get to but at the end of the day I wouldnt go back. The food was ok but not great. Wine list really expensive. The service was fine but many of the servers were dressed really casually. We spent $230 including the tip and can much better value elsewhere.

Had the Braised Rabbit and Ali Tuna. The rabbit was cooked to perfection accompanied with a good red wine reduction sauce. Tuna was perfect and was accompanied with a hearty salad. Great meal. Although a bit on the pricy side, I did have a decent experience. Will return again to try other items and try the 3 course meal. Just entrees for 2 reach $90-$100 minimum incl tax and tip

It is restaurant week, so we tried Feast. Experience was underwhelming. Hostess didnt accommodate request for outdoor seating because it was reserved for a party of four. Of course, the table remained unused during our visit. The clam pasta was a congealed mess. Overcooked and mushy. Wife was unable to finish the duck cassoulet which was salty. We frequent restaurants 1-2 times a week and Feast failed to meet our rotation list. It was not one star because the server was affable and professional.

Great food, great service. Sister restaurant to another establishment down the street Bottle and Bull, they have a bit of French bistro and Italian eatery fairs..good beer selection. I had the burger, came with a bit too much fries which were over salted but the burger itself tasted very good. Quick, informative service. A bit on the pricer side but that is expected nowadays, it seems like.

A fantastic addition to the east side. This is a great French inspired restaurant. The food is really good and the experience is quite easy. Good drinks, fine selection of beer and wine. Enough variance in the starters and entrees. Feast is above most other east side restaurants and below cafe junita and canlis.

The food was good but salty. Rabbit and duck had good flavor, tomato and watermelon salad excellent. Loved the spiced carrots. Creme brulee consistency was off, too mushy/saucy, even though the flavor was there. Bread was dry and not fresh and not worth the extra $. Bread pudding was great. Now the service. Pretty much non existent or we were not lucky with our waiter. We had a bill of $500+ and had to wait for drinks for 20 min each time, same for menus or questions etc The only thing that same super fast was the check. So we spent 2.5 hrs there just to have dinner.... Will give it another try, hopefully we have a better experience because this part of our visit was just super sad. Since the tip is mandatory and included with already high prices that didnt leave a good aftertaste for our group.

The food here is a level up of anywhere I ve been in the area. The French onion soup is like Paris it s amazing and I will get it every time. The server told me they could hang their hat on duck cassoulet and he was not wrong. It s just the right amount of food and it s rich and comforting. My wife had the halibut and it was perfectly cooked. The cocktails were spot-on. Cocktail nerds will love this place. I loved the duck fat washed Vieux Canard (carre).

Not sure if I came at the wrong time. Vibe and service was quite nice but the food was overall disappointing. Fish was dry and tasteless; duck too salty; burger burnt and fries too salty; dessert super sweet and couldn t taste any fresh ingredients. Only - the salad was right. Staff were really friendly and interior looked attractive (though, one of the bathroom tap only came out killing hot water).

Have yet to try this restaurant! Menu looks incredible. Showed up an hour and a half before they closed (just to do apps and drinks, not a full meal) and was denied seating because apparently they stop seating waaaay before they close. I understand not seating ~45min before close but over an hour?!? Bizarre and unheard of. Clearly the owners are not restaurant people. Still hoping to try this place but this may have turned me off of it forever. Too bad.

What a huge disappointment our dinner was. We got Foie Gras as an appetizer. $29. It was the worst foie gras I ve ever had. It was tiny and of very poor quality. It was overcooked. I felt ripped off and this was only the beginning. The waiter recommended the pork chop entree as the best thing on the menu , so I ordered it. $38. It was supposed to be sous vide and seared on the grill. When it arrived, it was tough, dry (clearly spent too long on the grill), and worst of all, tasteless. The potatoes on the side were unseasoned and had a weird aftertaste. Veggies and mushrooms were a little better seasoned, but still not great. The only reason I gave this place two stars is for the service. The staff were friendly and attentive. But I m there for the food and it was terrible.

I would say its average but the atmosphere and hostess that was so kind , and quickly accomodante us and its a great vibe. Thank you Summer Ive been wanting to find a perfect French cuisine ever since I went to Paris. Ill be back just to see you become a server and sit on your station. The passion you had when you talked about you GM and the chef from New Zealand it s very impressing. We stayed for a l few hours, enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and company. The service couldve been quicker but the waitress was nice and knowledgeable. There no reason we wouldnt go back. Thank you! You guys got a great gem with Summer.

Took my wife for her birthday and we were so impressed by this establishment. Smiles when first entering, great service and an ambiance that keeps you in. We have the foie gras appetizer that foreshadowed the quality and taste of food that was about to be prepared. I had the steak frites that had me questioning my existence and my wife s braised lamb shank was a explosion of flavor ( this plate is really filling ). Micheal our server was on point and courteous and so was everyone else we encountered. We re definitely going back

Our last date night took us to the Feast restaurant in Kirkland. We managed to get a reservation from OpenTable for a dinner for two. Upon entering the restaurant, the vibe seemed very chic. The bar seemed very fancy as well. The prices at this restaurant are on the slightly higher end. The baguette was warm and served with a pistachio truffle butter. The drink that I ordered was very foamy but extremely smooth. The chicken was cooked to perfection which is not an easy thing to do. The vegetables were sumptuous and I shall come back to this place for a grander occasion.

Seattle restaurant week is a tradition I have taken part of for the past 8 years. I was excited for the 3 courses for $50 at this restaurant because I had heard good things. Summary: the food was mediocre at best and very heavy and salty. The service was pretty lacking and awkward. This was more like a 2.5 star at best. Certainly not worth the $50 per person. Mind you thats a discount for SRW, while their real menu is much more expensive.

I havent been to Feast in 6 or 7 months because I have been exploring other restaurants in and around Kirkland. It was time to return to one of our neighborhood GEMS here in DT Kirkland. I brought a new friend with me and once again Feast was deliciously awesome. The Chardonnay was great and sharing one of my favorite meals at Feast the Brasserie Burger with fries with my friend was an excellent way to introduce her to this excellent restaurant. You still see the owner Chad working hard behind the scenes as well as manager Justin making sure each guest has exactly what they need. Bar manager Derick seems to read your mind when you walk in and offers the perfect drink selection. Thanks Feast for another fabulous evening. Cheers! Kelly
