The food is very good there.

Food was okay. The drinks are made very sweet. When I asked if it could be made at half sweetness the manager said no and to let them know ahead of time.

Delicious dumplings! Takeout is always ready fast and right on the time given. My picky 7 year old loves it too!

My first experience with Dough Zone was in Issaquah and it was very pleasantly surprised. However, there is just something off putting about the Kirkland location. Its very small and cramped. Dare I say, almost a little claustrophobic? The food was just not what I expected. The crab and pork dumplings just had no flavor of crab whatsoever, although the texture was fine. The Kale salad was as you would expect The wonton soup was a very small order. The potstickers and other fried dumplings were OK..,nothing outstanding The biggest concern was with service or lack there of. The food was just plopped on the table, very little communication with the wait staff. I have to be perfectly honest, I did not feel overly welcome there So to sum up ...quality food, very average, but atmosphere and such very badly lacking

I love the food here. The soup dumplings, the fried potstickers, and the dandan noodles(with numbing peppercorns) are some of my personal faves. Parking: Parking is free with validation from your waitstaff.

Having visited Dough Zones Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond locations, I had high expectations for this branch. Unfortunately, it fell short in several areas, particularly in terms of food and service. Location and Ambiance: Situated conveniently with nearby shops and parking validation provided, the location is excellent for a casual dining experience. The ambiance is relaxed, fitting the casual dining category. Service: The service here leaves much to be desired. Servers often engage in conversations among themselves, making it difficult to catch their attention for orders or refills. This lack of attentiveness significantly detracts from the dining experience. Food: Compared to other Dough Zone locations, the food here is below average. The Sweet and Sour cucumbers lacked flavor, a stark contrast to other branches. Additionally, the Xiao Long Bao had an off-putting smell, suggesting either less fresh meat or another issue. Overall Ratings: Food: Below average compared to other Dough Zone locations. Service: Below average and inattentive. Parking: Convenient with validation provided. Ambiance: Casual dining. Price: Slightly above average compared to local dumpling restaurants. In summary, while the location and ambiance are satisfactory, the food and service at this branch need improvement to match the standards of other Dough Zone locations.

UPDATE: Came back to change my score. They now have TONS of vegetarian options available! If youre not vegetarian the place has great food. Every friend and family member Ive taken there has loved it. VEGETARIANS BEWARE: If youre vegetarian everything that doesnt have the V sign by it has chicken powder in it. Its not listed anywhere. So you have very few options in total. A pancake, a noodle and a dessert. Literally no dumplings you can have. Really disappointing.

This was our favourite place in Kirkland! But recently the food quality has been declining. Our recent visit was very disappointing. Cucumbers were too oily and noodles were way too salty. Xlb has broken ones and pig ears have too much MSGs that they tasted bitter. Please bring back the old quality and we would love to come back!

Vegan options are kinda sad. No protein to be seen. Veg dumpling just has some carrot, cabbage, noodle. I wish there was some tofu on the menu. Even the selection of veggies is kinda meh. Kale salad had lots of black/brown rotted bits from probably sitting around too long. Probably not coming back. Dumpling the Noodle definitely has better options or Din Tai Fung if you can get over that way!

Nothing vegan is worth eating. They dont care about their vegan customers. Dan Dan noodles, veggie dumplings everything that used to be vegan is not anymore and management doesnt care about trying to introduce more vegan dishes. Dont bother going. In the age where more restaurants are trying to expand their vegan friendly menus, Dough zone just cares about their bottom line and serving substandard food with no regards for dietary restrictions.

This location serves a smaller menu of the chains delicious offerings and the service is also a bit slow. Its quite echoey at this location so if youre looking to hear one another in a large group, you may want to consider the Bellevue or Redmond locations instead. Parking can be validated but walking over is more convenient if youre nearby. The scallion pancakes are a staple for us and the pork XLB are always good. The beef noodle soup is a recent new favorite as well for us since the noodles are an excellent texture and the broth is flavorful.

Their soup dumplings are to die for. Like most Dough Zones, it gets busy and service can be a little slow when theres a rush, but the food is always hot and delicious. Parking: You can park in the parking garage below the restaurant and the restaurant will validate your parking. There is also limited street parking in the area.

this place is really good, food took like an hour tho but thats okay! Q-bao is so delicious omg i need to come back but i was kinda sad they didnt have tapioca but its okayy ilyyy

Overall its fine. It tastes good and has a good selection with a pretty nice atmosphere. Service was also good. But its just a din tai fung but for bao. Commercialized and reliable but ultimately a bit disappointing when youve had more authentic stuff in the University or international district. I wouldnt come back unless it was a social thing. I would enjoy myself and my friends but deep down Id know there is better elsewhere. The spicy glass noodles were awesome though. I just dont go to a dumpling place for noodles

They changed their menu and removed all the vegetarian options. Previously noodles and dumplings had vegeratian option and now they have decided to add chicken powder even for veg dumpling.

Great across the board, our kiddo spilled soup all over the table and our server Jet was prompt to both get us a new bowl of soup and clean everything for us. Great service, great food & couldn t have had a better waiter.

We used to come here all the time because they had good vegetarian options. A few months ago they took off several of their vegetarian options, but they still had enough stuff. Today we came in, sat down, and notice almost all of the vegetarian options were gone from the menu. Including vegetable dumplings - they are no longer vegetarian!! We had to leave and find somewhere else to eat. Very very disappointed.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in the area, being vegan comes with finding good places to eat and this was one of them. I recently came back and they had taken almost all of their vegetarian items off the menu, which is really unfortunate for me and a lot of people that came here for that reason. I won t be returning anymore :( if you just recently came to dough zone which the same problem, dumpling the noodle has a huge selection of vegan options and it s just down the street.

The price is okay, but the taste is really not good. But the supermarket s quick-frozen

I love this place. We had a party of 9. Everything came out quick. The staff is all very nice. I am not crazy about the noodles here but everything else is great. Parking: There is a paid parking lot, but the validate your ticket if you bring it in.

I LOVE dough zone - the food is so dang good. The reason this location gets 2 stars is from the atrocious service. We stood waiting for a table and it was not obvious you HAVE to sign in to a tablet to be put on a list. No one will acknowledge your existence until you are on the list and your table is ready. If you see a mob standing there 20 minutes, maybe remind people to use the tablet. After getting our food (delicious as always), no one ever came back to check on us again. Id probably have ordered more dumplings if they checked in. Eventually we saw our check was never going to come, so us and several others had to go to the take out counter to ask to pay. The overall vibe there was that they didnt care about their customers at all.

Dough zone is our all time fav place restaurant . Their Dan Dan noodles is what we die for and they have the same delicious taste in all chains. This one is at prime location in Kirkland which we loved and the they also do parking validation (if you dine or shop anywhere). The best part is their delicious food and with minimum bill Thanks Dough zone!

There are always a lot of people so the waiting time is long. Its a good idea to purchase a gift certificate at Costco at a low price. Its not dim sum, its fusion cuisine. The cucumber was delicious.

The pan fried dumplings and potstickers were simple but full of flavor. My order came out fairly quickly and very very hot.

Food tasted good here. But I m not happy today!!! Kitchen forgot my food. After 45 minutes waitlist, we ordered and it came quick. I ordered one more spicy beef roll. It didn t came for 10-15 minutes. How hard is it to roll a wrap together? Leaving a 3 star because I m hungry tonight.

I ordered a sizeable order over the phone and was told it would take 15 minutes (which was accurate). I was greeted when entered, attended to immediately, and was in and out for a pickup order in under a minute. The storefront is clean, the seating seemed ample, and the food rocks. Im eating pork boa (soup and pan fried). Both are phenomenal. The Dan Dan noodles are spicy, but not too spicy for me. I am sensitive to spicy foods too so big plus.

Shocked by the positive reviews. One of worst dining experiences I ve ever had. Was not greeted or even acknowledged by 5 or 6 employees as they walked by us and we stood awkwardly by the front door. Was eventually sat after trying to say hi to several employees. Dining with kids. Had to ask for water after order was taken, had to ask for silverware and chop sticks after food was delivered. Helped myself to condiments from the to go area. Food was bland, dumplings were doughy/undercooked, and not what we ordered. Never once did anyone ask how our dinner was going and if we needed anything. If I wasn t dining with kids I would have stood up and left mid dinner. Absolutely terrible and a big disappointment.

Wait list was easily double the amount of time stated, they kept reservations for people that didnt show up on time while they had a lobby of people waiting in the waiting area which is just the 5x5 foot space in front of the door. They brought food to the wrong table on 4 different occasions last night.

So happy I finally got to try this place. I love Dim Sum and have heard the rave about Dough Zone for a few years now but never got to try it since theyre usually super busy any time Im near one, and for good reason! This place is delicious.

Do yourself a favor and skip them and go with DTF. A better product and a better experience. Stopped in for lunch here, no greeting, ordered at a counter, then had to eat out of a bag at a table with the staff watching me eat and not offering me anything to drink. Food was ok, but going with my gut and sticking with DTF.

I came here to visit just as a party of 1 while on a work trip. It was a relatively short waitlist on Yelp and I was seated within a few minutes. I mainly just came to sample the dumplings, including soup dumplings, steamed dumplings, boiled dumplings, and dumplings in chili sauce. Unfortunately, they were all out of almost all of the xiao long bao (soup dumplings) except some chicken ones. I remember them being better the last few times I ve been here. So not sure if it was location dependent or not. Overall, I expected a bit more from Dough Zone - perhaps the Seattle location downtown has a higher quality.

It doesn t get any better than this place for Asian dumplings. We prefer this place over Din Tai Fung. Great menu. Great staff. Great food. You need to park in the QFC parking garbage for this place if you don t find street parking. Small location but great food. Very busy during peak hours.

Ordered pork&crab dumpling with other plates. Especially, that dumplings dough texture was pretty thick, and could taste little bit of uncooked Flour. I think need to steam up and make it more moisture. Service was so so. Couldnt even get sauce plate, and asked. The price was so so. Thesedays everywheres prices were rocketed.

total mess. we ordered for pickup, handed us the wrong order. we replaced the order for delivery, and then they cancelled that order as well. don t order food from here. this place is so messy that a professional organizer would charge double just to walk through the door

I really could have given fewer stars, but honestly the staffs response was better than I could have expected. My husband and I stopped in from a road trip a little dusty and more towards the late lunch crowd. Wed already been turned around from another eatery we wanted to try for the July 4 holiday, and werent sure if the parade crowd would make this place packed. Anyways, we love Dough Zone, having been to multiple in the Seattle metro. We placed our order and waited... And waited... And then noticed folks seated much after we placed our order were getting dishes and wed seen absolutely nothing. We flagged down some staff to see what was up, and they immediately figured it out. I guess we werent in the system, so they didnt know where to take our order? Or maybe it was a new host? It had been about 45 minutes since we had parked in the nearby structure with parking validation available. In any case, we eventually had a delightful time, and will still come back to Dough Zone even with a weird service experience!

This place is not too busy. It is easy to find seats.

Great place. Amazing ambiance. Good food. But Ive had better taste at other nearby Dough Zone branches. Vegetarian options: Has limited vegetarian options. But all options are great! Parking: You have to give credit card and take a ticket while entering parking lot. P1 is dedicated to retail and store customers while P2 is dedicated to Google Employees. After taking the ticket, you can go get food and get the ticket validated by Dough Zone and exit the garage for free.

I decided to give Dough Zone a second chance. This time we ordered takeout. We realized there no sauces for our dumplings in the bag after we came home. Hubby called them and a rude rep that took his call told him that they don t provide sauces anymore and that we had to buy them separate. If that was the case, weren t they supposed to say something when we placed the order so we could have gotten sauces? The guy was simply rude so hubby had to hang up. This was our last time getting food for this establishment as they simply don t care about retaining their customers. They simply don t care!!!! Our first time there and we were not disappointed with the food. Giving 3 stars because we were not happy with the service we received. Our food didn t get to our table until we asked for it whereas the table next to us got the same dishes fast even though they came 10 minutes after we were seated. Overall it was good and I will give it a try one more time!

The Chinese food here is more traditional. So if your expecting your typical deep fried stuff. This place is either going to be a place you like or hate. Pretty good food. However the parking is terrible particularly on busy days. The parking lots around this place all have signs designating thier own businesses. So be aware and be prepared. Parking: Restaurant surrounded by other businesses and they have signage for only thier businesses. Bad location for parking for that restaurant.

Noodle texture was on point. Right amount of chew, not to soft. Beef pancake wasnt the rolled type which I preferred more. XLB is not bad... But not as good as DTF. The price was right. Way better value than DTF. Id recommend this as the go to noodle place without the premium pricing. Service was lacking. Didnt offer sauce or ginger.

It truly is a culinary jewel of the city. This particular location in Kirkland is almost brand new. It s always sparkling clean and well lit with high ceilings and big glass walls. Vegetarian options: Every vegetarian dish is clearly labeled. Parking: There s an underneath parking garage. It s free for the first four hours with ticket validation after purchasing at a local business. We are fans of Dough Zone. However, during our recent dinner visit, we noticed that the updated menu didnt offer a satisfactory variety of vegetarian or vegan options, which was disappointing for those with dietary preferences in that category. We would never visit again until they change the menu.

This location has to be my new favorite! The service is really fast and helpful hosts/servers. We ordered Yi Bin noodles, veggie potstickers, Shrimp wantons, Banana Naan bread. Super meh overall. They were out of several menu items including chicken soup dumplings and then told after our party of 12 omce sat down outside, that they dont serve alcohol out there. Service was one of the worst weve seen as we were all but forgotten. Had to flag someone down each time we wanted anything. We had friends from out of town that were excited to have some dumplings, and they were really underwhelmed. The pork soup dumplings were really good and so were the bao buns. The food was fresh and hot and the banana Naan was delicious.

I dont understand, why shades that cover windows, makes you stare at the direct Sun and why people sitting outside have to fry under the direct sunlight. Is the chain operator so cheap to think about it? People have to suffer? Food is hit or miss. Soup dumplings, other than chicken are great. All cooked dumplings are not worth it. Appetizers, cucumbers and seaweed are great, the rest so so. Didn t try anything fried.

Delicious food. Hardly anyone in there had to keep requesting the waiter to come check on us. Otherwise, it was a good experience. Just recommend the staff to check on the customers more often.

Have someone in your kitchen try the beef sandwich. That was the worst beef I have ever tasted. Disgustingly salty. I can t imagine if any one taste tested this dish and think it was a good idea to put it on the menu and let it rip. Worst Chinese food even by American standards.

Reviewing the person at the front desk. The white young man was very helpful and such a great ambassador for Dough Zone. Very customer focused and made sure all my questions were answered, dedicatedly explained the dishes and was very friendly towards my whole family. Refreshingly good customer experience!

Ive been to a lot of dough zone locations, as a reference. Food here is consistently good but is a bit pricy. However, first time at this location and our experience service-wise was bad. After taking our order, we sat for about 20 minutes, at which point another server noticed that we havent received our food and turns out they forgot to put in the order. So we ended up waiting around 45-50 minutes for food from our order. Empty plates were sitting on our table as new plates were coming in and no one and no one thought to ask how things are or if we need more water until we asked for the check. Overall bad experience and honestly dont see myself coming back. 3 starts for the food and servers being nice.

The flavor and spices were a little off this time. I generally love dan-dan noodles, but they were way too spicy this time.

We ve been to other locations of dough zone many times but the food at this location is different. We ordered the pan fried buns, they looked like they re made by a machine, at other locations they re nicely hand wrapped and pan fried. The steamed veggie dumplings are mostly shredded cabbage and carrot inside, I ve never had dumplings at a restaurant with such cheap ingredients. They used to be very fresh and tasty made with different ingredients at other locations . I wondered if they changed their recipe at all locations or just at this one. Foods are over priced and we won t return to this location.

Food was great! We got more than what we ordered, but it was still a great experience! I m so sorry to that waiter that thought I laughed at them after pressing no tip. I smiled at her because she looked at me, and then I laughed with my friend because my signature was really bad since I rushed it. I went back and apologized and cleared things up..next time I come back, I will definitely tip with my own card. The card I used was my dad s emergency card for me, and he said to never tip. I hope that the Dough Zone workers knew who I am talking about and show her this review. I apologize deeply from my heart, and I hope you have a wonderful life. Thank you for teaching me a valuable lesson, and this interaction will stick with me forever.

Poor mans ding tai fung

I usually like dough zone but this time was different. We sat for 40 minutes before our first dish came.I had to send back the pork dumplings that my boyfriend almost got food poisoning from because they were bright pink and uncooked. The service was very dismissive and and very slow. Won t be coming back here anytime soon or ever.

So, I have always been a big dimsum, dumpling person, and some favorites are no more. We stumbled across this place doing a search. The wait was far longer than it should have been, and awkward as we were shuffled from one spot to the next to be out of the way, but we didnt want to be outside due to unhealthy smoke. We tried the spicy beef rolled pancakes, fried dumplings, soup, soup dumplings, and scallion pancakes. For scallion pancakes, Ill be sticking to Trader Joes. The rest? I could eat any of the others every day, and the spicy beef rolled pancake things, every meal for a few weeks. Yum! A new favorite. Cant wait to get back

Comparing to the king - Din Tai Fung, this place is really great providing the similar experience and quality at a cheaper price. The dim sums were very flavorful and delicious. The service is great. While paying do not forget to ask for parking validation as parking is free here. This is not wheelchair accessible.

They d get 5 stars for the food if it wasn t that they serve the iced drinks in a plastic container. So wasteful when they don t have to be.
