Handmade noodle, buns and dumplings.
The food at this place seems to be a mixed bag. While a few dishes were decent, others left much to be desired. We ordered the chili beef noodle and it was was decent. The noodles had a nice chew, though I would have preferred them to be firmer. The beef was tender and came with plenty of toppings, which added variety. However, the spiciness was one-dimensional and lacked the layers of flavor that could have elevated the dish. The vegetable dumplings were the most disappointing. The filling was overly mushy, with the mushroom flavor completely dominating—but not in a rich or satisfying way. The lack of balance and seasoning made them bland and unappealing. The pork shrimp and chives dumplings were better than the vegetable dumplings. The filling was juicy, which was a plus, but the shrimp brought an unpleasant taste because it's not fresh. While not terrible, it still fell short of expectations. The pork bun was just okay. The filling was decently seasoned but lacked juiciness, and the bread absorbed the little liquid remaining, making it rather dry. The bun itself wasn’t as crispy as I’d hoped, leaving the texture feeling flat. The fried chicken, funny enough, reminds me of McNuggets. The coating was thick but not crispy, and while the chicken was passable, it wasn’t particularly juicy or flavorful. It felt more like a filler dish than a standout.
The atmosphere is very beautiful, the details of the design in the restaurant make it very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. But the food…. The food is SO GOOD. Authentic, homemade, delish. 10/10 will be back.
Dumpling the Noodle was pretty good—I appreciated the variety in their menu. The main reason for docking a star is that everything was a tad *too* salty. The noodles were the standout and everything else was just oKay.
I could go into nitpicky depth, but the food here is solid with some arguably questionable choices in (lack of seasoning). Service was attentive, the decor was mostly nice, and the place seemed moderately clean. There were some little quibbles about the meal that added up to the loss of a star, but for most people this place would rate five stars. The portions were generous, and unless you have a highly refined palate you're going to be satisfied with the seasonings. I will say that the back of the restaurant was messy with crates of sodas, extra chairs, cardboard boxes, and other junk on the floor. I'll be back with friends. The large portions means we'll be able to share and try numerous items.
If there’s one thing I regret from my Saturday night, it’s trusting that dumpling place. I ordered crispy vegan wontons, mock duck lamen soup, and tofu lamen soup, hoping for a decent meal. Big mistake. All three dishes were a disaster. The mock duck lamen? It was basically watery Thai curry paste with noodles and these weird tofu chunks masquerading as mock duck. The tofu lamen soup? The worst knockoff phở you could imagine. And the crispy wontons? Not a single bite was worth eating. To my fellow vegetarians: do yourselves a favor and skip this place. You’ll thank me later.
This was place was okay… Definitely have had better. I don’t think this would be my go-to but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn’t be opposed. Raving review, huh? LOL Parking: Tiny parking lot but you can also part at the library/Kirkland public parking Pet friendly: No Family friendly: Yes FOOD: 1. Green onion Pancake $3.95: 1 Stars – Not sure if there house made.. I assume it is just because of how doughy it is. It had a lot of flour test so I didn’t really enjoy this. 2. Jajang Beef Pancake $9.95: 3 Stars - The pancake that was the wrapped, it was a lot better than the appetizer green onion pancake. The beef needed a lot more flavor and to be sliced thinner. 3. Garlic String Beans $9.95: 3 Stars – This was good but okay at the same time if that makes sense. It had good flavor but I’ve had better at other dumpling/noodle places. 4. House Sweet Chili Fried Chicken $9.95: 4 Stars – The two fried chicken was definitely the best of all the things I ordered. The chicken still had good crisp to it even though there was the wet chili on top. 5. Seasoned Fried Chicken $9.95: 5 Stars – This was so yummy! The dry seasoning had just the right kick and flavor. I kept coming back to it and normally I’d say that I devoured the whole dish but this was something my husband order and he didn’t really want to share ALL of the chicken 😊 6. Bulgogi Beef Dumpling $8.95: 3 Stars – They were tasty beef dumpling but I wouldn’t really say they were bulgogi. They were slightly sweet which was probably the only hint I got that it was marinaded differently. I honestly thought I was eating the regular beef dumpling until I saw the Bulgogi dumpling down the table lol. DRINK: 1. Qin Dynasty $14.00 – Good taste but I think it would have been better if it was chilled more. Sometimes a more chilled drink makes it taste better. MENU/RESTAURANT: Restaurant is really cute and had a modern Asian décor. The way they did the layout of table didn’t make it seem very tight even though they crammed in a lot of seating for the size of the restaurant. I would like to say they have the traditional Asian fountain that I didn’t know I missed since moving up here until I went to a restaurant that had one LOL Menu is pretty standard Taiwanese food… Nothing crazy that makes them stand out from other Taiwanese restaurants. SERVICE: The service is pretty hands off as you order everything on a menu sheet (kind of like most dimsum places now). The only time we really ever interacted with the staff was when they would bring food out. The biggest issue I had was they would never mention what was being brought out and we had a HUGE group. If someone remembered to mention it, they were so quiet that we had no idea what they said anyway…
This place has been on my list for a while and I’m glad I finally got to try it! The food and service were great, and the restaurant has a really nice ambience. Our favorite dishes were the beef roll and pork chive dumplings— so delicious!! :)
A great place to try the chinese cuisine. We ordered the Sweet chilli fried chicken, vegan wonton with spicy sauce and organic vegan dumplings. The chicken was amazing with the perfect balance of crispiness and sweetness. I would have loved more spice but you can add the hot sauce. The wontons were amazing as well. The spicy sauce gives a different zing and after taste. Dumplings were decent and you could avoid it. The fried vegan wontons are worth trying as well while the chicken fried wontons are underwhelming. Definitely in my top 5 Chinese restaurants and on my repeat list. Also for the quality and quantity of the food, the prices are quite affordable. The service is quick. The servers are affable and the ambience is quite good as well. This place is quickly reaching the level of close your eyes and pick a dish..
So. So. Good. This place was insane - another DTF or Dough Zone competitor and in some ways, BETTER. Specifically the Chili Lamen, WOW. Slow service but it was a busy weekend evening. Vegetarian options: Tofu Chili Lamen (BOMB)
Cozy place. Food is satisfying. Eating too fast and almost forgot to take pics :D
Food: Not a large variety of dim sum. BBQ pork buns were dry and not filled with a lot of meat. Expensive for what you get, portions are small. Overall the food was very bland and flavorless. I would not come here again, there are better dim sum restaurants in the area. Atmosphere: a little small/cramped and messy on the inside.
After eating, the kale salad dressing was salty, the sesame sauce was not half boiled, and there was a lot of it! All embedded in the twisting leaves of kale, drink salty sesame sauce. Beef mixed with rice noodles, the sauce is so sweet, not spicy at all, the bean sprouts are over-cooked, the beef and noodles taste two different, the beef is watery, but the amount is large, it is ready to eat, the noodles are a bit sticky and not chewy, add Serve the watery sweet sauce and eat it. The most delicious thing is the fried rice. I recommend the fried rice. The siomai was okay, tasteless and the meat was very firm.
My family and I were extremely disappointed with every dish we ordered. After returning 1 of our main dishes we struggled through the remaining items. Nothing came out as it looked on the menu. Best thing we had was white rice. Crispy chicken (2nd best of all 8 items)- was under seasoned and over cooked Kale salad -was so bitter and over dressed it was slimy. Mushroom dumplings- outside was way to thick with small compact inside so when you took a bite it fell apart Pork and onion dumplings- ok flavor but again outside to thick and inside to small so fell apart Sweet and salty cucumber- not enough flavor so basically it was soggy cucumber with slight vinegar flavor. 1/2 peeking duck- skin was extremely soggy and inside was mutilated, wraps were over cooked and extremely hard to separate, cucumber has a weird metal flavor. Spring onions were almost to hard to bite through. Wok fried pepper beef- wife loves peper beef and was super excited about this dish... beef came out grey and steamed vs wok fried vegetables were over cooked and flavorless Garlic green beans- had no garlic and no flavor almost like the forgot to add them Lychee drink- very watered down Passion fruit drink- very watered down. Not to mention everything is WAY over prices for portion size Now we get to staff. Ok service But they wore the same black gloves for everything they did WITHOUT changing them (serving food, cleaning tables, sweeping floor, wiping nose) After talking to a guy who seemed like a manager.. he stated they are newly opened and still trying to figure it out. 10/10 will not go here again and do not reccomended $120 wased
The service here was incredibly disorganized and slow. They dropped off the food and didn t check in or follow up on how everything was going for the entire time we were there. After we finished eating, we probably sat there for 30 min before we were able to get someone s attention for the check. It was a Sunday night and not very busy. We were sat in the dining room near the kitchen, in front of their storage area. I think at the very least you should put up some decorative room dividers so we re not sitting next to fryer oil, take out spoons, pallets of soda, etc. As for the food, it was oily and nothing to write home about.
Excellent food!
Short menu witch ensures that all the food is fresh Staff is super friendly and helpful Food
Thank you for delicious food and great service.
Ivy was so sweet we loved our food for our birthday
Horrible DoorDash experience. Just awful. Dumplings not edible.
Enjoyed the food. Had to ask a few times to get service but I would come here again.
Lovely space, well decorated and clean. Speedy enough service and I was SO happy to see this many vegan items on the menu. Chilli wontons, string beans, tofu noodles and organic veggie pan fried dumplings - everything hit the spot. Really satisfied my Hong Kong girlie food cravings. I will be back for sure!!! Pls come to sf/Bay Area!
The food was pretty good, but the service was soooooo horrible. It took them over 30 minutes to take our order. I tried to get the attention of all the waiters and they literally ignored us. I had to finally get up to ask someone to take our order UPDATE - I came back a month later on 11/18, and it was just as bad or even worse service ! I don t understand. After we were seated it took over 30 minutes for them to take our order. And then all the main entrees came out 20 mins apart! I had to stand up and walk over to someone who worked there TWICE. Why is it so hard to get service ?
Absolutely amazing food, we had the duck as our main course and it was juicy, crispy and extremely flavorful. This place will be a regular for me and my partner.
Good service, clean environment. Food is good.
Tried beef roll and noodle and the are both delicious!! Quick service also.
A very good place for Chinese food.
Braised beef soup was really good. Also got the garlic string beans, fired chicken, and pork chive dumplings. Great food!
Food was average. But the ambience was nice.
We got the chili the tofu lamen which was amazing! Then we got the vegan bok choy and mushroom dumplings and didn t like the taste.
Chili noodles were good. Dumplings were... not. Good drinks though!!
We love the food!!! Omg the signature pork onion buns are our favorite! Kids love it too
The food was good.
Fantastic food, odd choice of music though
It was really good. Parking: It was down the street. Food : 5/5 |
Amazing dumplings
Depending what you get food can be hit or miss. Great service. The floor is very oily feels not very clean. Food : 5/5
Server was very kind, food amazing c:
They have Vegan items on the menu, which is good.
Great service, amazing food!
we recommend the sauerkraut fish fillet if you like spciy food.
Very cozy atmosphere with delicious food :)
Food was great!! Really enjoyed everything. DNT Duck was fantastic! Wished they had more servers though. Thank you.
Good service alright food
Good service okay food
service and vibes are amazing!
This place was such a nice dining experience! The staff were awesome and very detail oriented, i really loved the scallion pancakes and the honey shrimp.
super good!! Vegetarian options: super delicious Food : 5/5 |
Stumbled upon this place one evening and it became an instant favorite local place. We got the braised beef lamen, bulgogi beef dumplings, jajang beef pancake rolls, and house sweet chili fried chicken. Everything was SO good. The servers were so kind and friendly and the atmosphere is clean with a modern aesthetic. Nice for a casual date
Amazing selection of vegan options! And an expansive menu for our omnivore family members. I especially loved the wontons in spicy sauce, green onion pancakes, and chili mock duck lamen. Nice atmosphere - enjoyable background music - wasnt so loud that we couldn t hear each other.
Fast service on a weeknight, happy hour had good prices. Their duck is a must try. The food taste isn t as good as the Wallingford location though, but still good.
Peking duck is excellent
Very nice interior, comfortable atmosphere with good service and a good variety of dumplings and noodles and other Chinese dishes.
Awesome service and lovely atmosphere!
Great food
Amazing Vegan food and service!
Chili tofu lamen is the best thing I have ever eaten! Great vegan options!! Vegetarian options: Get all the vegan options you won t be disappointed Food : 5/5 |
Yummy food and amazing service! Definitely coming back.
This is not authentic food. Do not come here if you expect authentic food. The staff is extremely inadequate. They chatted with each other the entire time. We tried to flag them down multiple times but they didnt respond. Also they tell you if you write a review you get a free drink. Response to owner: Sichuan sauerkraut fish should not be deep fried. If you make such a huge difference to the dish you should let individuals know.
Vegetarian options: Certain dumplings that are clearly marked as vegetarian on the menu. Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to nuts and they were very nice about telling us that we didn t have to worry about it! Kid-friendliness: Accessible to kids and easy for them to choose and see what to order.
Has great vegetarian options and is good place to eat. Staff and friendly with good recommendations. Would come here again.
Vegetarian options: Spicy vegan wontons were very good Food
The atmosphere is cool. I like the fog billowing from the fountain. Some of the food isn t really my style, but overall it s good!
The tofu pancake roll is by far my favorite dish here. The chili tofu lamen is also great! The chicken and corn dumplings are juicy and full of flavor as well, the skin is a bit thick though. I wish there were spicy chicken wontons (there are vegan ones and pork ones right now). Overall, all the food Ive had here is really solid and reasonably priced, and theres a lot of vegetarian options. Im not vegetarian but I dont eat red meat so it was really nice to have so many tofu options
i liked that there was a lot of vegan options
This is the BEST place and I am so in love with all the vegan items, quality food, gorgeous spot next door would be so nice to have hot sake for winter
The dumplings are pretty disappointing
Great food. Like the duck!
Authentic Chinese food in downtown kirkland reasonably priced. We got the pork shrimp wontons , sichuan string beans and the sauerkraut fish in chengdu pepper. Almost the items were pretty solid and the portion size was good. We also got the lychee drink which was refreshing and not too sweet. Overall a good spot if you are craving asian food with friendly staff and not too busy either.
Vibes perfect
Great place for authentic Chinese food
Parking: Great restaurant with lots of street parking nearby. Food
We order onion pancakes, 2 type of pan fried dumplings and a fried chicken. The onion pancake is pretty good. The dumplings is ok but the chicken is super dry, we ask for the sweet chilly sauce so it is eatable . It was too over cooked and dry as hack . We should have order the sweet chilly chicken but since I can not eat spicy so I order the regular one.
The food cannot be worse. The four dishes we ordered are either over salted or weird cooked. Would tell this to all people around me to avoid this restaurant
Great chinese food at Kirkland!
The food was great and everyone is so kind I will come here again for sure
Nice food nice view. Very recommend this place!
Enjoyed the meal so much with friends. Food is delicious and authentic enough to make us want to come back again next time in town. Their roasted duck is pretty good.
Clean restaurant and flavorful food. I ll visit again!
Not authentic Chinese food. Everything is either too sweet or too salty and not spicy enough. Environment and service are good. The 2 star is only for the food.
I like this place and the atmosphere inside. Very calm and friendly restaurant. Tasty dishes
3rd time coming here and the service is always fast and the food is always great. No notes Vegetarian options: Steamed dumplings (best of the dumpling options imo), tofu lamen Dietary restrictions: A lot of vegetarian (unsure if vegan) options that are great!
Very good food, the peking duck, the shrimp lamen, and the vegan wonton with spicy sauce were the best. The tofu lamen soup was bland. The garlic green beans, cucumber, and fish fillet in hot chili were good (though I wish the fish was spicier). Overall very yummy and good ambience/service!
Cilantro beef is very fragrant. Dishes were good but a tad salty.
Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Food was good.
Nice vibes and service
Its aight. Been twice and am decidedly not a fan of the vegan dumplings. They just kind of dont taste like anything. The mock duck and noodles are good.
Food is very tasty, can eat a truckload of the scallion pancakes. Coming back for sure!
Very good service Kid-friendliness: Kids we satisfied Food : 5/5 |
Dumpling the Noodle had such a great ambience with beautiful decorations and great service. Really appreciated the menu having photos of all the food. Great taste and good portion size for each item.
Great food and quick service
Great sharing dishes! The pork bun was our favorite
Amazing atmosphere and welcoming vibes
loved the vibes
Service is amazing! Food is really tasty and great quality, Would definitely come back again!
Good vibes and easy parking!
It was fun Parking: Kirkland Food : 4/5 |
I shared the beef lamen, pork and chives dumplings, and spicy wontons with my friend. The wontons are great and would definitely get them again! (forgot to take a photo of them though) If you re craving dumplings and/or noodles, this place definitely hits the spot! Service was awesome throughout!
Good food
Fish in hot chili oil was our favorite!
This place had great food! Would recommend.
Great food! The dumplings were soft and spicy. Lychee drink is a must have! The ambience is modern and food is delicious!
Good food and great service. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options.
Food taste great
Peking duck was perfect. Also loved the lychee drink and the scallion pancakes.
Their Peking duck is pretty good!
very authenticate peking duck
Good duck
Food is good. Recommend the pork dumplings.
I kept coming back for the Sauerkraut fish fillet in Chendu pepper. So good. Lovely atmosphere and service as well.
Best dumplings ever
Food here was great, fast service, and easy to order! Will return when in the area.
beef soup broth was very rich and the spicy dumpling wontons were flavorful!
Service and the atmosphere was amazing. The food was quite bad. We ordered chicken and corn and bulgogi dumplings which were alright. The house fried chicken was soggy and not crispy and tastes like a chicken nugget. The crispy chicken wontons were old. The garlic string beans were really overcooked.
I love everything about this place. The noodle soups remind me of childhood. Very veg friendly, haven t had a dish I haven t liked here.
Love this place! My wife and I are regulars for the awesome food and great service. Plenty of vegetarian options for us
Quick service and the food tastes great. Lots of vegetarian options
I really liked the saucy lamen and beef roll! Good quantity for the price :)
Very good food. We got the 1/2. Peking duck, Sichuan dry-froed string beans, and pork dumplings in spicy sauce. All was very tasty and the staff were very friendly, if a bit busy
From my 9 year old: the food was really yummy. Especially the beef dumpling that tastes like a combo of momos and meatballs. The chamomile tea was sweet and not too hot at the same time. I would recommend the noodles and the green beans. If you have kids I would recommend the lychee drink.
Great food! My favorite was the pork and shrimp dumplings. Peking duck is pretty good for a place that doesnt specialize in it as well. The Sichuan green beans did not taste Sichuan at all- it was sweet and salty with a brown sauce- but still good. Staff did miss an item we ordered but it was fine because we actually over ordered.
Try the onion pancakes.
Good selection of food! Clean restaurant and good food
Clean restaurant, service a little slow.
Super yummy! The string beans were so saucy and everything tastes good!
The staff was extremely friendly and the food was really good
The interior atmosphere is clean and parking is easy! Loved lychee drink.
I liked garlic beans and that is pretty much it. 2 stars for beans. I got also shrimp rose needle soup and really didn t like it. Too much salt and the flavor is not there.. I could taste salt only. And shrimps didn t go well together with broth at all. I ate barely anything since I was hungry but could eat even third of it. Should get soup that s for sure. Waste of money. Customer service is ok I guess considering that a waiter didn t ask if I like the food but later when I was ready to check out. He saw my soup that was almost untouched and asked if I liked and I told him my opinion. And all he said with general voice without any consideration sorry ab that .. and brought the check. They charged me full amount for everything. I could eat the soup but that s ok. They still charged it and didn t even offer replacement of the dish. So customer service is no good! They general reply to negative reviews which I don t check and I should - I will let team know it won t have again and hope you come back soon . Well how anyone come back if you don t even try to make it right to the person who paid a full amount for dish they couldn t eat! That s just greedy response. They should not be in business bc it s not Asia it USA! And here we are all for customer service! And food is still too salty no matter of negative reviews. Ahh
Amazing food I would highly recommend!!!
Get the Peking duck, you wont be sorry! There was nothing that I tasted that I didnt enjoy!! Really great experience! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accesible.
It s first time and I went with family and friends. Among what we ordered, I love the mock duck noodle, sichuan string bean, fried chicken, duck and others. Food is great and authentic. The mock duck is my first time had and it is great. Will come back again.
Sem works so hard while providing great service!
Quick and fast service. Definitely A++ quality.
Tasty food!
Not very good is being generous. The dumplings were overcooked. I couldn t taste any shiitake in the shiitake dumpling. The duck was dry. Worst meal of 2024.
Let me tell you why this place has good reviews. On each table is an offer for discounted drinks if you write them a review. And who s going to write a bad review when you need to show it to the same person that will serve you your drink? As for the food, it was bad. The braised beef soup was tasteless with wayyyy too much oil in the broth.
Super accommodating for a large group with tasty dumplings and lamen! Will come back again!
Good food and super nice vibes - a lot more modern than the restaurant that was previously there. My favorite was the Sichuan green beans, it tastes great and came out super fast. Lychee drink was also good!
An honest review. The Chilli the Beef Lamen was cooked well, noodles al-dente, beef tender, however, they went very light on the chilli, to the point were I might not put Chilli in the name of the dish. The Pork onion bun and Pork and cabbage were both ok, but not great, nothing to really rave about. No complaints about the green beans, those were our favorite.
Good flavors. Well made. friendly service!
Parking: Parking lot Food
If you want to try peking duck here, highly recommend!
good atmosphere
Went here for the thick noodles. Got their braised beef noodle soup. The noodles were 10/10. Felt the soup was on the bland side. Also got their Peking duck. 10/10. It was perfection. Their bulgogi dumplings were 8/10. Overall good meal.
Limited food options, food was not spicy, food was mid, and water was room temperature
Was sat down and literally ignored for 30 minutes, no menu, waters, utensils, nothing. Got up and left, super disappointing.
This place has a great vibe and just passing by I got a whiff of great aromas and decided to come with my family and try it out. My 4-year-old said it smells great. They have a mix of dumplings, noodles, soups and salads (great selection) .more expansive than Din Tai Fung or Dough Zone and the decor is beautiful I have never eaten at a marble table before. The food was also delicious and came out fast!! Would definitely recommend this spot!
The food is OK. BUT 1. Service is bad. No water is served after seating. I have to ask for it. Serving is slow. One dish not ready when we finish the meal. We have to cancel it. 2. Crock roach is seen on the table then wall. So gross. Food : 3/5
friendly servers. good vegetarian options.
Overall, food was very bland and not seasoned, but atmosphere was alright. The interior looked very nice, but it was a hot day and no AC inside. We ordered braised beef noodles, garlic string beans, peking duck, and some dumplings. The dumplings were fine, but the other dishes were underwhelming. The noodles and string beans were not salty at all, with almost no flavor. It tasted like noodles in hot water. The peking duck was around $40 for half a duck, and the portions we got were very small even for half a duck. It also only came with 5 of the spring pancake wrappers, and we had 5 people. For a chef s signature dish, it definitely didn t impress that much. If you re looking for good quality or authentic Chinese food, wouldn t really recommend it here.
Beans are tasty
Ordered the sweet sour cucumber (5/5), the Kang beef pancake roll (4/5), pork chives shrimp dumpling (3/5), and the chili beef Lamen (5/5).
I came here with a wonderful friend of mine and this place gave us the atmosphere to really enjoy each others company and conversate. As a deaf person, being able to hear is super important and they had fun music playing at just the right volume. The food itself was extremely tasty and they had a lot of unique offerings. Definitely take time to ask about the broths in the lamen as the shrimp lamen broth was pretty quiet in that didn t have a strong flavor profile, but there was something nice to the subtleness. Great value, would come again
Great service and good. The food turnaround is quick. A must when visiting WA.
Amazing customer service and great food!
Nice place but the noodle soups leave a lot to be desired... like flavor. The crispy fried chicken app was good but the crispy chicken wonton was practically burnt and tasted like it. The beef dumplings were decent but not the best Ive had. Prices were not bad though. Id advise only coming during happy hour (430-6 T-F and 330 to 530 weekend) and just ordering the apps and drinks then go eat dinner somewhere else if youre still hungry. Vegetarian options: Im sure theres better places to eat but they do have lots of vegetarian options if pressed
verygood
Amazing
I really love the food here! Great atmosphere, especially love the decor and ambiance!
I initially saw this restaurant on tik tok and it has really lived up to the hype. The servers were super nice and the food was great :)
Very nice setting and love the food!
Excellent atmosphere with awesome food. Menu is extensive with many different options.
Good foods, good drinks, and great service
Found this restaurant on google- a pretty disappointing meal to say the least. Dumplings were mostly dough, green beans were dry/overcooked, and the other items seemed old (even though the restaurant had just opened at 11:30 and I placed my order at 11:15).
Got the lamen and the shrimp rice noodles and dumplings. The Lamen was thick and long, but the sauce was not as flavorful as one expects. It tasted salty but there was not a lot of other flavor. The spicy oil was ok, so I added that for extra flavor The shrimp rice noodles were different than what I expected bc it wasnt the usual flat rice noodles, it was noodles that resembled spaghetti but made out of rice. There was a lot of bean sprouts. Like 50% of the dish was bean sprout. The dumplings were plain but juicy so they were okay as well. Waiters were nice!
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options! Food
We had a reservation and ended up late but they held for us for quite a while! Food options are splendid and plentiful including for our vegan friend, we are excited about the duck as well, and spice levels manageable for non spicy eaters. Mock duck and tofu look so good! And the dumplings too, cannot wait to try! did we see a cockroach looking beetle? maybe, lol is the food catered to those who cant handle spice? yes is there a free/50 cent drink for leaving a review? yes
Great food!
A beautiful space inside, the waterfall is really welcoming. Service is attentive. We tried a lot of food, what stood out to us was the pecking duck, the braised beef Lamen soup and sichuan green beans!
The best place in Seattle. Highly recommended!! A++
This place has the greatest food and the people service are kind!! Highly recommended Food
Soup noodles are good but their bulgogi beef (more like a meatball and doesnt taste like bulgogi) and pork chive dumplings were disappointing. Jajang beef pancake roll is good
Great food and great prices
Had great food and variety and I loved the duck, the kids loved the waiter, great service and very kid friendly. Was a chill place and had food out quick. The room was very beautiful and chill. The food was absolutely heavenly. Definitely recommend. Vegetarian options: Had a vegan or vegetarian option for almost everything Kid-friendliness: Had great kid-friendliness really helped the kids decide their food.
Best service ever! Made you feel like a celebrity. Food was phenomenal! Brought 5 of my friends from out of town and they all loved it! Definitely a placer we re coming back to!!!
Great vegan and vegetarian options. Nice atmosphere as well.
We tried Peking Duck, Beef Lamen, and Sauerkraut fish, and they were all very delicious!!
First time here! And the food are delicious!!! The portion size is big too our eyes was definitely bigger than our stomach loved every dish here
Nice surprise. Half Duck, pork with chives, pan fried buns, and green beans. All very good quality. Their chili oil is good as well. Different from other places. Prices are all reasonable too. And great service. We ll be coming back again
Service and general vibe of the place was great, however the two times we tried coming here, the food was just subpar. The first time we came, dumplings were bland and the noodle dish we ordered, the noodles werent fully cooked to the point where we had to send them back (they were very amenable to this). When the noodles came back.. they were still raw in the center but not as bad so we went ahead to eat them. The second time I came we ordered several different rounds of dumplings, however they were all either bland, the dough was way too thick, and/or the flavor just was really off-putting to the point where we didnt finish eating any of them. Could be flukes, but we wont be going back. The vegetable dishes were good however, but not worth going to just for them.
Loved this place
Good food and good atmosphere. I like the noodles and dumplings. Convenient location to get some food.
Noodle is good.
Great place!
Nice, authentic feeling place. Great atmosphere and pretty tasty food.
great dumplings with nice duck
Great lamen, bulgogi dumplings were amazing. Lanterns above each table were a nice touch. Pineapple juice
Located in the heart of Kirkland, nice warm atmosphere and the food was delicious. Will be back again! Thank you DTN
Nice decorations, food looks great and comfortable seats. Parking is easy.
Giving it a 2 just because I do think the food needs to be called out (and its hard to note when the ratings are all so high). The dry lamen was insanely salty & not the typical sauce youd expect (it was odd...salty, but sweeter than most Chinese dry beef noodle dishes) & the sour beef noodle soup was not sour...and barely had flavor. The noodles themselves were also much thicker than Id expect (and I love noodles, esp thick noodles...but these just felt really more so than normal). The fried buns had a skin that didnt match how they usually should be (from places weve tried in Asia & even here in Seattle!). The only thing I appreciated were the shrimp & pork wonton SAUCE...the wontons themselves had pretty dry meat :/. All in all, their service was EXCELLENT, but the food was not at all close to the ratings they currently have on Maps.
I was invited by a friend who is curious about this place. As a Chinese, I have to say this is one of the worst Chinese food I took in Seattle area. And it is really expensive. This place is not real Chinese food, the noodles and dumplings are way below average. Here are what we ordered: Chili The Beef Lamen - Really bad Chili The Shrimp Rice Noodle - Really bad. Pork Shrimp Wonton With Spicy Sauce - Really Really bad, it is even worse than what I got from supermarket. Signature Pork Onion Bun(4) - Really bad. Jajang Beef Pancake Roll - This is actually good. Sichuan Dry-Fried String Beans - Below average. Sweet short rib - Average. Will never go there again. If you want to taste some good noodles, dumplings, and wontons, try Dough Zone, Nineway, or Din Tai Fung
Tasty food, good service and atmosphere.
Way too salty and service slow
Highly recommend pork onion bun! Parking: Park in library parking garage. Food : 5/5 |
New restaurant in Kirkland downtown. Tastes good. The duck is decent.
Overall I am happy with my experience - the food is reasonably priced and the staff is friendly.
Really great stop for lunch! Fried chicken was great!
We love all of the vegan options! The restaurant is so clean and friendly.
I really enjoyed dining here! The service is fast, the decorations are nice, and the food is really great! I recommend the green beans and the house sweet chili fried chicken!
Foods are good 10/10 according to my parents. They love the Peking duck and the braised beef noodle soup. However, the waiters seem to be very busy, and was like avoiding to make eye contacts with the customers (just my opinion, I could be wrong). We always ended up calling them or saying excuse me to get their attention. Overall, good experience with the food wise. Thanks!
Super friendly excellent food. Everything we have tried we have loved! Favorite is the cilantro beef!
Ordered sour spicy beef noodle and beef noodle soup. Noodle was not too soft and the beef was tender. But the soup could use a bit more flavor. And the toppings are a bit different from traditional beef noodle soup. Over all pretty good thou.
Great food, great service, loved the experience.
We had previously been to the Seattle location and came here with high expectations and we weren t let down. We tried their organic vegan dumplings, green onion pancakes, chili garlic tofu lamen. Would definitely recommend visiting if you love Asian food.
Lots of vegan options!! So amazing :)
