Authentic Chinese food with generational family recipes! Seafood, pork belly bowl, wontons, 12-spice beef noodle soup, noodles & bowls and more.
It’s an almost self serving restaurant that you sign in at a terminal to order and pay. You also serve your own utensils and extra sharing bowls and plates at the station. It’s making sense to collect tips because the servers will bring your order and clean after you are done. The ambiance is pleasant and elegantly designed and very spacious. Only complaint is you have no option to control how spicy your food would be.
I have been a regular since the first day this restaurant opened its doors. The food has been mostly great. The service has been degrading dramatically. Today I went to the restaurant again and there are many tables available. I went to an empty table as usual because this is a self-serving restaurant. A waitress asked me to go to the front to line up. There is no one in the so-called line, except the one guy waiting for his takeout. I tried my best explaining to her this doesn’t make any sense, but the waitress insisted it with no patience and no reasons offered. In the end, I left restaurant directly and will never go back again. The worst service ever!
The food is decent, but it's more of a self-service restaurant where you have to do everything on your own. It's not a bad place to visit, just don't expect table service.
I’m not from HuNang, so to me, the food is already good enough! The amazing part is the service speed, almost no wait time! I should come back more often.
Messed up kitchen and order system. Came in Saturday lunch at 1 pm and the restaurant didn’t have full house. Order took forever to be ready (we waited for 50 minutes). Even more frustrating is that people who came in later than us got their order much earlier and even finished their meals before our order was even served. You know their order system is messed up and not ranking every table fairly. When we asked waiter about this he said he’s not able to do anything with this order system.
Food is okay, but there is NO service. Water is self-served, which I don't mind. However, when our food arrived, there were no utensils on the table or with the food. We were completely confused about how to eat the noodles. We had to go to the counter to ask for utensils ourselves. The only words from the staff were "Scan the QR code on the table to order." Overall a very disappointing experience.
Fan Tang Asian Cafe is a wonderful place to enjoy delicious Chinese food. The restaurant is modern and clean, and the parking is easy and ample. The ordering process is simple and convenient, using a touch screen and a number. The food comes out fast and fresh, and the portions are generous and reasonable. We tried the hunan sizzling pork bowl and the mei cai pork belly bowl, and we were very impressed. The hunan sizzling pork bowl had tender pork, fluffy rice, and a savory sauce, with some sliced bell peppers for a bit of spice. The mei cai pork belly bowl was amazing, with super soft pork belly and a sweet and tangy dry pickled mustard. It also came with a salad and some pickled bell peppers for some crunch. The service was friendly and efficient, and they cleared our table as soon as we were done. We loved everything about Fan Tang Asian Cafe, from the food to the price to the atmosphere. We will definitely come back for more mei cai pork belly bowls, and try other dishes as well. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves Chinese food!
The 12 Spice Rice Noodle soup was such a delight that we have returned 3 times in the last couple of weeks just for that! It’s the perfect winter soup. The Thai Pepper beef was spicy and delicious. The Mei Cai was nice, I’d like to try it again but preferred the Thai chili beef better head to head. The pork and pickled green bean soup was tasty too. The staff was nice but due to the kiosk ordering I didn’t really interact with them too much. While I can’t speak to the authenticity, I have been told by people who can that they enjoy it!
overall, the food is really good. Very good noodle.
Stir-fried pork with chili! ! ! ! ! ! Why not sell it! ! ! Stir-fried pork with chili! ! ! ! ! ! Im not happy! ! ! ! !
I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at Fan Tang Asian Cafe, and I feel compelled to warn others about the potential dangers of eating here. After dining at this restaurant, I experienced severe food poisoning that was so bad it landed me in the emergency room. What was supposed to be a pleasant meal turned into a terrifying ordeal, and it has completely shattered my trust in this establishment. The food here is clearly not fresh. Many of the dishes appear to be pre-made and rely heavily on food additives and artificial flavors. Instead of authentic and delicious cuisine, the food tastes processed and overly manufactured, leaving you questioning what youre actually putting into your body. This is not the kind of meal anyone should be consuming if they care about their health and well-being. What s even worse is that these shortcuts seem to prioritize profit over quality and safety. The way the food is prepared is a recipe for disaster, and unfortunately, I learned this the hard way. Restaurants should uphold the highest standards when it comes to hygiene and freshness, and it s clear Fan Tang Asian Cafe has failed miserably in this regard. If you value your health and your life, I strongly advise you to avoid this place at all costs. No meal is worth the kind of pain and danger I endured after eating here. There are plenty of other restaurants out there that take pride in offering fresh, safe, and authentic meals Fan Tang Asian Cafe is not one of them. Yes, you made the best poison in town :))
The place is almost empty, but orders take a very long time to prepare
I have been eating stir-fried yellow beef for more than half a year and it is always delicious. It seems like the chef has changed today. I ordered spicy stir-fried yellow beef, but it was half the amount when it came out. The waiter was very helpful and sent it back to make it again. The cooked one was served, but the spicy millet was not visible, and the meat was dry and woody. November 10, 24
I occasionally eat a bowl of Hunan rice noodles here at noon, but I dont go there anymore. First, the portion is too small. A bowl of rice noodles costs 20+ dollars after tax, and I am not full. Second, the price is not cheap. I often ask for more noodles for a bowl of noodles, which costs 27 knives after tax and tip. For a Chinese fast food, the price is still too expensive. There are too many choices for 27 dollars, and they have reached the price of many buffets in the north and south. If you have a dinner with friends and family, you will basically have to order other dishes. After tax and tips, the average per person is basically 45-50 dollars. This is just a fast food.
Good place to eat dinner when I am not in mood cooking. Reasonable price and home taste food.
As an authentic Hunanese, I think the rice noodles taste pretty good, but the quantity is a bit small. Although there is dining room, there is basically no service. The floor is sticky with shoes. It would be better if we change a few seating areas
Surprisingly authentic Hunan! We need more diners like this
Delicious, but a little too spicy
I haven t eaten Chinese food for half a month, but I am already satisfied after eating it. I give it 5 stars. When you enter, you can order and pay directly by yourself, and then you can pour water and pick up tableware by yourself, so you won t be embarrassed if you tip or not. The rice noodles and stir-fried yellow beef rice bowl both taste good. The only drawback is that the rice used in the rice bowl is not the rice you usually eat, but long strips of rice. The texture after mixing the rice is a bit dry, which makes you choke later. The portion size is plenty.
This afternoon I came back to eat their stir-fried beef with small pepper. The beef I had yesterday was very tender, but the color of the beef today was wrong when it came out. The upper part was black, and there were two colors in one piece of meat. It felt dry and hard in my mouth. , it must have been there for a while, or a passenger canceled the order and brought it to me. I finished eating it because I was very hungry and the taste was uncomfortable, but it did not reduce my hunger. Im sitting in the T1 position by the window near the door. The experience this time was very bad, but the tip has been paid. I hope the boss can explain it to the chef and pay attention to this issue. Although it is a shameful waste, consumers should not have to experience this feeling, not to mention how much beef costs a few dollars per pound. . The first picture was taken yesterday, and the second picture was taken today. You can compare it. Anyway, best wishes, I will come back to try the fried beef with small pepper.
Worst place ever! Bad service and disgusting food and rude manager!
Good food, pricy, order was wrong, very limited vegetarian options, No service at all
Very nice
It s spicy It s delicious Food
Pro: The place is clean. Noodles are delicious and price is reasonable among the crazy prices in Seattle. Overall, I like the place. Con: I don t understand how the tips work here. I paid full tip while ordering and later found that it was self-service - you help yourself with water and chopsticks and everything. Then why would we still pay 15%-20% tips? The waiter was being nice but I feel like I paid for something I did not get. This stops me from coming here more often.
Very very cheap with meat portions, one of the worst I ve ever seen. Even if it s cheap meats like chicken or pork. Come here if you want to pay $20 for a bowl or noodle or chicken with a side of meat only enough to feed a 10 year old.
Great place to have Hunan food! Awesome rice noodle and great spice in their food. Clean atmosphere and bathroom and plenty parking as well. Good to shop around the area as there is Metropolitan market nearby. Definitely coming back!
The takeout I ordered today came with nothing, no forks, no chopsticks, no paper towels, so I don t know how to eat it.
This restaurant is awful! We are. The first in the restaurant but have to wait 30 + mins for food!
The lamb tasted sour and gave both my friends and I stomachaches. We threw out and felt extremely sick right now.
The food was really good!
The server is rude and racist.
Im so addicted to their food, I come here at least once a week.
I ordered takeout noodles, it smells like ammonia
No service at all but still asked for a tip. Ridiculous! Food tasted great though
Ordered the take out pork soup noodle but got the plain noodle without soup
The Chinese rice noodles that Im willing to pay $5 extra across sr 520 bridge to eat. Best noodles here.
Absolutely a good place to grab some fresh quality food in a casual atmosphere.
I thought the food was uninspired and I dont think I will go back. I usually dont say this, but I didnt find anything unique and inspired. With money being tighter, every dollar we spend should be carefully selected.
Food is too expensive for its amount. We waited for 30 mins to get two dishes ready. Updated on 02/292024. It was a chill Wednesday tho not many people in the restaurant. We waited for more than 20 mins for two courses. Do something to improve your efficiency.
The food is extremely salty, when I came to the server asking if anything they can do, I was told the food was made this way so eat it or leave it. Completely waste of money
Fast and pretty tasty food. The pork was a little bland but not bad.
Love the food
As others said, theres one order kiosk. You can order via QR code at a self seated table, but that is not clear. With that said, the food is wonderful and the overall experience once you figure it out is great. The employees are friendly and helpful if you need to ask questions.
Authentic Changsha food recommended by friend from Changsha. Nice place.
Delicious Hunan noodles soup place with good portion and options to go very spicy if you customize it
The Hunan rice noodles here should be the most authentic on the West Coast.
Super authentic Hunan food! The most authentic Hunan food in Seattle
I like the rice noodle here, really nice
10/10 Lamb / beef is tender and delicious Great flavors Easy to use self order , big portions , shareable Easy parking, quick service
The fried rice is pretty good and wonton is kinda average.
All pre made food. No chef is cooking there. They have good flavor, but still leftover for me.
Update: The new item Chili beef rice noodle (flat) is soooooooooo good! Very authentic Hunan style and I can drink up the soup Ordered Thai chili beef meal with extra spicy. Taste: Not as spicy as I expected but taste authentic Hunan style. The beef is tender and the chili is edible which is as expected in Hunan style. Size: Enough meat, enough rice. Will definitely order again!
Had to wait for 1 hour after ordered in store.
Really bad experience. We waited for 30 minutes to get seated, then for another 50 minutes still without food prepared. No service, even no water cups to self serve. Many dishes were not available when ordering. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone!
Food tastes good. But the restaurant is a bit disorganized. Not sure why it takes so long to get ppl sit down while there are quite lots of empty space inside. And serving speed is slow
Bad service
Full of flavor, delicious! Fast service. Tried things from all over the menu, all so good!
If you are hungry, don t go! Waited an hour for noodles, while there were very few customers. At first they told me a machine was broken, and then they told me they took too many delivery orders, but I didn t see many people picking up orders. This cafe is ridiculous!
Good food but very very slow. Waited for 30 min for two noodles.
Long wait, slow service, average taste
Rice noodles are so delicious! The boss also pays great attention to the feedback from diners, and the food experience is flattering! Worth a big thumbs up
The food is great but service is really awful.
First time eating. The food was good but the wait was long after ordering, we waited 25 mins for 3 dishes.
The waiting time was too long. After eating for an hour, one dish was not served. In the end, I said it was not done. After returning the food, I don t want to refund cash or refund it to a card. What kind of gift card can I give? I don t recommend this kind of merchant.
Great food. Had 5 dishes and 4 were awesome. Ginger chicken was a bit bland and light on chicken. The others were spicy pork, signature salad, wood earmushrooms, and green beans. Very casual. Ordered on phone and they brought the food to the table but you got your own water, plates, and chop sticks.
Delicious and modern choices. It is like a preppy Chinese bistro. The flavors are delicious, but warning - when the dish says spicy, it is VERY spicy!
I m not a food expert but I m pretty sure rice isn t supposed to be pink correct? I have ordered countless times from this place but this was unexpected..and quite frankly disappointing. Parking: Lots of parking!
Food was OK but please do better packaging for your takeout orders... The plastic container cracked, greasy oil leaked out everywhere and made a mess of my car seat...
food is bad
Ahahaha~~~ 4th visit! Great place with decent small dishes. The best Chinese fastfood style. We definitely will visit again!
Their dishes remind me of home.. they are SO GOOD! One thing that might not matter to others but to me is, the quality of the rice. It s authentic Chinese jasmine rice, not the cheap alternatives in most Chinese restaurants.
Very very tasty, good size portion, great design, variety of different cuisines, friendly staff and fast service
Eh. The food wasnt anything special, bland actually. Ordering was all by phone so that was kinda cool.
The noodle house is very good and meets the authenticity of Hunan style food. It is considered fast food Chinese but the dishes are well prepared. The classic pork rice noodle is non spicy and great to warm the tummy and the bamboo pork rice has a kick but still doable for most people. I really like the shop and recommend some good Chinese noodles and rice dishes.
Lady was very helpful picking out dishes. Take out timing was accurate. However the flavor was just not there. Kind of a bummer given their ratings.
Great food great flavor sweet service
Their Hunan rice noodle is authentic!
Ordered bamboo pork rice noodle, unami vegetable, spice beef noodles, classic pork rice noodle, toothpick lamb, and chicken fried rice. Everything looked so plain and Americanized but ended up tasting great. The noodles were great but was a bit too salty. My wife and daughter liked the rice noodles the most. My son liked the fried rice the most. My daughter who usually doesnt eat a lot of vegetables ended up feasting on the unami beans.
Mei Cai Pork Belly is really food The beef noodles is also great Recommended dishes
Was pretty disappointed by our experience here to be honest. The ordering system is super confusing and the menu on their monitors is different than what was available on their app. Everything was super hands off and you got your own utensils and water and ordered on your own so it felt almost self serve. The food itself was just OK and not somewhere I would rush to try again. Kind of expensive but huge portions
Great place to grab some lunch for me. Enjoy the food and workers are always friendly
Don t taste too overpowering, it s perfect
Amazing hunan rice noodles, probably the best in WA state! Their sizzling pork dish is also great, definitely recommend. I do wish that their rice would be less mushy however, please add less water or serve something like calrose rice which is more forgiving for cooking. Their sizzling pork dish could also benefit from more peppers
A great place for lunch on workdays
Wow! Next level.
Very Chinese
excellent
The braised pork rib rice noodle offers too few ribs , and the noodle plus is also too small.
Consistently great quality. A blessing for Kirkland. Only change Id love to see is using Eco-friendly take out containers (Id pay an extra dollar for that)
My go to place to have Asian noodles. Their Thai stir fry chilli beef is amazing! The restaurant also has a reward program which can get you free meal if you are regular.
The place was PACKED and we thought the food would be amazing but unfortunately we were totally disappointed with our choice of fried rice. It was a super plain fried rice, bland in taste and on top they put 4 shrimps....
Go to place when I want home-cooked meal
Ordered two rice dish, the rice is left over!! It s that kinda of rice that you put in fridge and reheat with microwave, I can even taste the flavor of the fridge if you know what I mean. Absolutely horrible, will not come back.
Delicious fried rice.
Really delicious Chinese food
more authentic chinese food Vegetarian options: vegan options Kid-friendliness: our kids love their food Wheelchair accessibility: ground level entrance with wide ramp but narrow doors
(update: Yikes this place is no longer the same! Quality has is gone and its very salty. Dishes are not as exquisit anymore. Some items were missing from a take-out order and we sent a nice email, as mistakes can happen, but nobody every got back to us. We tried another time, perhaps they just had a 1-off bad day? But no. So we wont go back) Such a bummer. I gave it 5 stars when it opened with this review: We ve tried several dishes and it s so flavorful. Pork Belly Buns, the spicy wontons, the beef mala so delicious!! Everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming.
Delicious food, amazing service.
The food is well seasoned but a bit salty and the portion is just right.
Pretty good Hunan food but the spice level is definitely toned down even if you select the spicy version of the dishes
The portions of rice and noodles are large. Both are authentic and tasty for me. Its interesting that the green pepper pork bowl is quite spicy, but the pork rice noodle is not which I added extra hot. The salad spicy potato is not as good as I thought. It tastes flavorless and shredded potato is soft not crunch.
A pleasant experience with quality dishes. Its homey but presented in an elegant way. Only one kiosk for ordering, but didnt know customer can also from table using QR.
Good food, nice dining area.
It has nothing to do with Hunan rice noodles. The flat noodles all stick together and become rotten when pinched. It tastes like cooked cold skin. The braised beef bar actually has bean paste? ? No lard, no bone broth, chili is also a garnish. Please dont touch the Hunan rice noodles.
Very clean, deliciously seasoned food ! I finally found great food in the area! Thanks!
I was excited to try Fan Tang, but I left disappointed. I ordered garlic green beans and sweet and sour pork. The green beans were overcooked and almost seemed like canned green beans. The sauce on the pork was just off to me. I didnt like how it smelled or tasted. Kind of bummed to dislike both dishes. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Unfortunately, it was take out, so I was stuck with it.
Definitely try this place! Great, delicious Chinese cuisine with MASSIVE PORTIONS at a REASONABLE PRICE. My baby back ribs were delicious; reminds me of the spare ribs my Chinese spouse makes at home. We also loved the stir fry beef. My spouse loved the green beans, but there was something about the flavor profile that just wasn t for me. Maybe I m just too American
Great food, but a little expensive compared to all the other Chinese food places for lunch. Many rice combos are in the $16-19 range
Really good high quality ingredients and flavor. Has gotten unfortunately 30% more expensive than just few months back.
Nothing mind blowing but reliable good. Nice portion for the price.
I can eat it all day everyday
No frills, fast, good flavors and ingredients, good portion for the price, easy parking, self serve ordering though they should let you view the menu before you get to the order kiosk so that the line goes faster. Maybe thats what the large screens are for but they were off tonight. Simple cafe atmosphere with some communal tables and small tables. Service was fine - its mostly self serve which Im perfectly happy with.
Authentic Chinese food, surprisingly it is loved by many non-Chinese foodies! You guys know real Chinese cuisine. Both Noodles and Rice dishes are really really good. Food
Not safe for people with peanut allergies (or allergies in general most likely). Had a bad reaction to some supposedly peanut-free dishes. The restaurant did not care.
Quiet neighborhood place, dine in or take out. Easy parking and authentic food.
Marvelous food. The bamboo shoot noodle soup is very tasty.
Wonderful food and Service gets better everytime I go in would recommend anything on the menu you will love it
best place for authentic Chinese food with perfect cooking. highly recommended!
The best to go restaurant if we don t have an idea where to eat. We have been here for more than 20 times. Most noodles, rice noodles and rice meals are really yummy.
So bad not gonna come again nothing close to being authentic
Food was yummy. That is all I can say
AVOID!!! Some of the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. Waited nearly 30 minutes. The beef stir fry tasted like soy sauce + water (sauce was *very* watery). Beef was hard and had no taste. Pork ribs was also terribly done - normally for this dish you would either stir fry it in sugar/vinegar on very high heat to leave a thick, crusty, caramelized sauce, or you stir fry it in garlic. This only had soy sauce and water - they didnt even bother reducing the sauce so it was incredibly watery. I dont understand why lots of Asians visit this place. Is there no Asian food in Kirkland?
Highly recommend! Our first attempt was take out with Thai Chili Beef Stir Fry and the Chicken and Mushroom Wontons. Flavorful and the spicy but I can t stop eating it kind of spicy. Our next attempt will be working our way through the menu. Clean, friendly, functional and delicious!
Good food, good service
Best Chinese food in Kirkland. Very authentic and the beef mala tang soup and fried rice are literally
Nice service and great food. What else can I say :) you won t be disappointed
Good is ok. Feel like Ameican style Chinese food. Many comments say malatang is great, but I feel it s just ok, not the style I wanted
This is a fast casual restaurant, not a traditional Chinese restaurant. Food is unique, regional, and very tasty. Lots of good chili and vinegar highlights, without being overly spicy or numbing. Food came out super fast!
Incredible food!, top notch service! Thank you Hailey!
No vegetarian dishes except for salad
Not a lot of seating, food takes a bit to come out, but grub grub grub. A lot of the dishes are spicy, so if you are a wuss: stay away.
I had the 12 spice beef noodle soup, the beef was on the salty side. Will come back and try other things on the menu.
Good place after days work and its convenient without loosing any quality.
Clean and suitable for lunch take out during weekdays
Very impressed for my first time here! The pork belly bowl, shrimp and pork wontons, and umami green beans were DELICIOUS. I liked that you order and pay through the screens. Food came out pretty quickly and was nicely presented. Ill definitely be coming back!
Close early without notice
I came here every time if I want healthy and yummy Chinese food.
I think this is a newer spot in Kirkland. Stopped by on a visit to the area based on the ratings. This rating isnt a negative at all, just 3 for an average experience. Theres a hint of authenticity in the taste, but nothing too strong. Ive been spoiled with home cooked meals for the summer though and as you all know, nothing beats moms cooking. With that in mind, I feel like my opinion may change when Im craving comfort Taiwanese/Chinese food. The biggest pain here was the value (price for the quantity). Taste was solid in some aspects and average in others. Nothing stood out positively or negatively. Did not interact with staff enough to formulate a strong opinion on service but they were friendly and welcoming. Overall positive with a greeting and then bringing food, but other than that there wasnt much interaction. You pour your own water from a counter and grab utensils from another. They have two tablets to order from. Garlic Green Beans - exactly what you expect. Green beans sauteed with garlic. Tasty but I cant justify the $9.50 price point. They do have a happy hour from 2-5 where the price is slightly above half, which is better. Im not sure if the amount is reduced so cant report on that, but $5 sounds more reasonable especially for a smaller appetizer. Mei Cai Pork Belly Bowl - I love mei cai kou rou, its a staple. As a side note, dong po is also a great staple. Anyways, the pork belly was juicy and tender. Spectacular, but you only get about 5 pieces in a bowl for $16. The small salad and regular rice are okay supplements to the meat, but they dont contribute enough to justify the price point either in my opinion. Taste is great but underwhelming in quantity. 12-Spice Beef Noodle Soup - okay beef noodle soup is my number one comfort food so I have stronger opinions here. You get a mix of both meat and tendons here and theyre tender pieces. Noodles were great and longer pieces, if you told me they were handmade in store, Id believe it. However, on the disappointing side were the vegetables and soup. I only had about 5 or 6 baby bok choys and maybe not everyone likes their vegetables, but its a big part of my expectation. The soup tasted a bit watered down. While still slightly spicy, it was very difficult to taste much of the bone broth or beef. Overall, its a nice spot for authentic Chinese food but isnt perfect. Personal bias to home cooking and Taiwan food may be reflected in my taste and this review so Id keep the thoughts in consideration but not completely sway any action. Value feels underwhelming in regards to price versus quantity. Hopefully can revisit after being away from home for a while to re-evaluate.
It has inside and outside seating. Self service, food was good if you like Asian fusion.
Good taste. Lots of rice. Fast service. Self order kiosks are easy to use
First time, I ordered 12 spice beef noodle soup and the umami beans. Medium spice, braised beef pieces are tender and the stock is delicious, not too salty, spice level is perfect for me. Too much noodles for my taste, Id have preferred less noodles more stock, need to remember to say light on the noodles next time. Clean and nice restaurant set up. Beer is as expensive as soda elsewhere. Will come back.
Pretty good taste
Absolutely stunning bistro. The food is very authentic neo-classic Changsha cuisine. My girlfriend is Changshaness and she approves this message. Not only is the food amazing, the dining environment is beyond exceptional. Clean tables, pretty utensils, fast serving, friendly staff. This is everything you could ever ask of a restaurant for!
The food is surprisingly authentic and tasty! We ordered the Mei Cai pork belly rice and shrimp fried rice. The dry pickled vegetable is so yummy and the pork belly is so soft that melts in my mouth. Overall, the experience was great and we would like to go back.
Beef in beef noodle soup falls apart easily. Spice level: hot, coughing.
Ok if you don t want to cook
Exactly Asia flavor!
Good food. Good service.
It tastes great! recommend! Healed the man who couldnt eat for many days
Beef spice fried rice is the best!
Flavors were relatively good. The ginger chicken noodles were well flavored and was a large portion. We waited a little longer than usual so the owner came out with free side dishes for us. The kiosks made it super easy to order as well. Good place for reasonably priced Chinese food.
Food was good, but really no service here. Even paying is online and although we figured it out, was a bit confused thinking we couldnt split the bill. When we got food, had to hunt around to find utensils and napkins.
Great food. Forgot my bag in the diner and owner helped me find it.
Food is affordable, healthy, and excellent flavor.
We had the garlic chicken noodles (zucchini noodles) and the chili beef. Both tasted great! Would definitely want it to be spicier next time. Caution: the zucchini noodles are cold (duh!) which we didnt plan on. The beef was tender and flavorful. Might go back just for that! More dishes to try, will come back soon. Parking: Open parking, lots of spots shared with metropolitan next door.
Heaven sent
One of our favorite places to get take out! Everything in the menu is amazing, and the quality is very consistent every time I go!
Food is great. Service is horrible. Came in at lunch and placed an order with a reasonable expectation to have it within 20 minutes. Wound up waiting over half an hour. Unacceptable.
Seriously the best Asian cuisine in any of the Kirkland neighborhoods! If you love well cooked quality meat, you simply cant miss this spot and HAVE to stop by! My favorite dish is a toss up between the stir fried beef bowl and the chicken wontons with chili sauce, both of which are even better with the house chili sauce you can purchase by the jar (and we do this once a week as it beats out my old favorite of Sriracha by a long shot).
Good food. A bit expensive.
All kinds of dishes are quite delicious!
Food was quickly prepared and tasty but also on the greasy side. Restaurant was nice with good seating. Not sure that I would go back.
Delicious. Especially wonton soup. Highly recommend
I lived in South China for 5 1/2 years, my wife is a native of the mainland and her parents would take me to these restaurants that foreigners would mess just think it s a brick building the dish I had here at this little restaurant in Kirkland brought me back to South China the dishes were immaculately done the fried rice with beef you can t stop eating the wontons here in America they never get the wrap right around the shrimp wontons here they did. Very
I ordered the shrimp salad, its very very salty. The shrimp, veggies and mushrooms are all heavy in salt, I dont think its healthy. Another dish I tried today is the fried tofu noodles, the tofu tastes like ginger, what a suprise. The third dish was beef noodles, this is the only dish which tastes okay. On the positive side, its clean and fast.
I absolutely love this place! Everything me and my boyfriend have tried is delicious and healthy! This is not your usual asian place. There is a lot of flavor in each dish. I am so glad that place is here, definitely recommend
too salty
I dont get why this place has so many Steller reviews. The price is too high for the quality/quantity and we will not go back.
High-end casual decor, immaculately clean, delicious and fresh food, quick and easy ordering. Theres a lot to love about this place.
Nice and clean. Outstanding flavor.
A more Western-style Chinese food, quite satisfactory
I want to go again and try more food because it was pretty decent but Im not familiar with the red fruit/seeds in this soup (not pictured they were under the wontons). Overall the food was good though. We had super slow service and they said it was because they had a rush, but it felt like they just forgot to find us. Theyre still new though so hoping to go back and try again.
Worst in Kirkland.
This is the place to go for mala spicy noodles! I was really craving spicy soup with noodles and happened to find Fan Tang. You order on one of their iPads, grab an order number, and sit down anywhere (if youre dining inside). Water and cutlery are all self serve, which is nice. The food came out really fast! I will most definitely come here again! Ill probably get the same thing, too.
Clean and decent Chinese street style restaurant. Price reasonable. You get a slightly higher value per dollar here compared with similar quality restaurants in Bellevue, like Facing East (Taiwanese cuisine). You can find both southern and northern Chinese cuisine style dishes here.
Expecting the food would be amazing with this high rating.
