Just went to B&B last night, with a friend in town from Florida and a few other friends. We had a GREAT experience - hostess was fabulous, worked with us on a last-minute person joining the party. Bartender came out to our table when only one of us was there to ask if he wanted a drink, just going above and beyond even though they were very busy. Finally, the food was exceptional - the tartar was great, truffle fries were fantastic, fresh oysters, Veal Osso Buco, Lamb Ragu...all of this food was ridiculously good and paired nicely with the craft cocktails and great draft beer selection. 100%, most check-out - and I hate going to Kirkland! Ill go there just for this place and the hostess, wait staff, and bartender!!!

We had a terrible experience at Bottle and Bull in Kirkland, Washington. A group of five of us made a reservation but ended up waiting 30 minutes beyond our booked time. Just when we thought we d finally get seated, the general manager Casey Smith kicked us out for no apparent reason saying he doesn t want to serve us. It felt incredibly unjust and left us feeling unwelcome. There was a distinct sense that our treatment was influenced by factors beyond just the service, which was unsettling. I cant recommend this place based on how we were treated. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that value their customers better.

I love this place. Whenever I have family visit or friends come into town, this is where I take them for dinner. It s moody and fun and the food is always so good and consistent. The service and drinks are always good and consistent. The steak frites, clams, burger, Cubano, Brussels sprouts, drinks - they are always so good!

Creative cocktails and innovative menu

The food at this restaurant is very good but the service and atmosphere could use some improvement. Wasnt sure who are waitress was when there. The lighting is very dark and the pricing is a bit over priced for what you get in my opinion. I have eaten at most resturants in the area and for the price you pay there isnt much of an experience. For instance I purchased one drink and an entre and that came to over $60.

Best food, best staff, best environment, best value; simply the best! Hence why we have been coming here since 2018 and love bringing our friends and family.

MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT. If you haven t gone to bottle & bull yet, what re you doing?! Seriously visit bottle & bull asap - you will not be disappointed. This has been my favorite restaurant for years. I bring all my loved ones here and everyone is always blown away. Every dish is excellent, chefs kiss all around. My favorite dish would have to be the mushroom pasta (drooling just thinking about it). The cocktails are also amazing, I ve never had a bad drink here. Great prices! Great staff! Great atmosphere! I could go on and on. Only the best things to say about this wonderful place.

Everything we ordered tasted amazing.

Went on a Saturday night 9pm and was able to get seated right away. The place gives off a speakeasy vibe, crowded but quaint, very loud inside. Lots of drink/cocktail options. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails and this will probably be a go-to for when we want quality drinks. The food was absolutely delightful, great flavors that complimented each other really well. We were hoping for more from the black garlic butter but it was still tasty. I wish it werent so expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Service was absolutely stellar. Location is really great. Ambiance was well worth it. Good was really good - some creative, good tasting options. I got the Cubano, without mayo. Who plays aioli on a Cubano? Served with a veritable mountain of fries. They were good. But I want a little more balance on the plate. Maybe a few less fries and some kind vegetable to balance out the heavy meat-and-fried side of the meal?

Great bar tenders. I asked for a spirit and a flavor. The first came lime and spirit forward. I then asked for lemon and the second. But still with gin. Two different drinks both forward with flavor and savory in their own way. Nice let the bartender surprise you and enjoy........

Had a great time here! Bottle and Bull is such a nice place with great food, ambiance, and service. We came here on a Friday evening (not super late) and the place was just starting to fill up. It was not loud, as some other have said, and we were able to have a nice conversation while enjoying the food and wine. The service was spot on, and we learning some history and background about the dishes we chose. I was a little worried the truffle parmesan fries with my steak would be too heavy, but it was perfectly seasoned and not overwhelming. Looking forward to going back!

We landed on this goldmine last minute for our 1st anniversary dinner. Do yourself a favor and take your taste buds on an unforgettable culinary journey.

I really enjoy this restaurant. The staff is great super helpful and genuinely kind. They made the experience better in every way, from food to drink recommendations. Food was delicious we loved everything we got from the beet salad to the burgers.

The host told us that she cannot seat us, even though we had an rsvp. They are like airlines, overbooking.

We have been there late at night but kitchen was still open. However, the server treated us like it was too late to order. We ordered oysters but when he served, he didn t bother himself to share the names of oysters. We had a lamb shank and a burger. We found a fish bone in the sauce. Also the burger s bread was not fresh. Overall I do not recommend this place.

Our server was attentive and did a good job. The brussel sprouts were the highlight of the evening. My burger was very dry, my husbands mushroom pasta was sparse and lacked flavor. Atmosphere was quite uncomfortable. Very cold breeze whenever the door was opened and it was difficult to have a conversation at a table of 4 because of the noise level. Too expensive for what was really mediocre.

Cocktails are top tier and the menu really has something for everyone. Particularly great arrangement of small plates and shareables.

The brussel sprouts and the moroco chicken were quite good! The panacota with chocolate was also quite nice. Overall was a good experience but the restaurant is quite loud

ID- 0255221 (01/26/2024) As Kirkland residents, Bottle & Bull has always been our favorite restaurant because of its food and ambience. However today we had a terrible experience because of the poor service by the server - Mary Jane. She never introduced herself to us. This was the name on our cheque. She came to our table and then took away our cocktails and pasta without even asking us or looking at us (we were still working on it)! When we found hair in our drinks, there was a cold response. She did not even bother to bring a pen when she dumped the cheque and the card on our table. Throughout the service she did not even check how the food was or if we needed anything. We did not feel well attended which was in contrast to her behavior with some of the other tables which was confusing to us! I hope B&B applies more due diligence in selecting and training their servers.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the fabulous restaurant, Bottle And Bull, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other! First and foremost, lets talk about Casey the bartender. This guy is an absolute gem! Not only does he mix up some killer cocktails, but his witty banter and infectious humor had me laughing throughout the entire evening. Casey, youre a legend! But lets get down to business and talk about the real star of the show - the negroni. Oh boy, where do I even begin? This classic cocktail was flawlessly crafted at Bottle And Bull. The balance of bitterness, sweetness, and that delightful hint of citrus was simply divine. It was like a party in my mouth, and I couldnt get enough of it. Bravo to Casey behind this masterpiece!

This is one of our favorite date night destinations. Quality, creative cocktails. Consistently terrific food, and friendly and responsive staff.

Good place to grabs drinks at night in Kirkland.

Came here the other night for dinner before going on the Christmas ships. We were seated right away (had a reservation), and some guy came and asked for our drinks and said our waiter would be right with us. We never had a wait the whole night LOL he ended up taking our order after we sat waiting for a waiter for quite awhile. We noticed the portions were very small for the price. While the Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious, you literally only get 5 for $14. That s like almost $3 a Brussel sprout. I got the browser pork cheeks and while it was cooked perfectly, it had 0 flavor! Cooked to perfection, falls off the bone but tasted like nothing. It was disappointing. $185 layer after tax & tip i feel like we wasted money going here.

I ve been here now about three times, and I must say that this past experience left me motivated to write a review. Bottle and bowl is a cozy, warm atmosphere with a good menu, even better, staff, and pretty decent drinks. I think Kirkland is a great spot for a place like this, as they stay open late, and are a tasteful and classy vibe. I have to highly recommend the octopus on the menu, as well as the beach salad! Both 4.5 stars! I would say the drinks are dependent on who is making the drinks, I know we had a super personable bar manager named Cody, and that was really nice to interact with him and also learn a little bit about his flare on drinks. I would say that not everything on the menu is exceptional, but everything is at least tasty/good. Every every single time I have come here, it s been later in the night, and finding parking is never an issue. But be advised, if you were to go during the day, it might be a little bit busy. It s never been a big problem for me, but I do have a family member who is in a wheelchair sometimes, and I imagine that bringing them here would not be the easiest.

Its a small restaurant and has limited options on the menu. The ambiance was decent and might be perfect for a date. I felt the restaurant could have had better lighting (as you can also see in pictures) - thats my personal preference. Requires prior reservations. We were a group of 4, and our bill came around $300 - tad pricey for the size of portions. I really liked my main course, Spinach Campanelle. Our server was amazing.

Really fantastic date night atmosphere.

I couldn t believe a single restaurant had all of my favorite things on their menu! I was delighted to discover just how elevated their version of my favorite dishes were. I really wanted to order EVERYTHING on the menu, but eventually ran out of steam and barely had room for their spin on the ChocoTaco (skipping the ChocoTaco would ve been a huge mistake). The Arancini was the best I ve had; perfect size and bursting with flavor. I loved the Smokey element with some of the dishes, like the duck. I m a (self proclaimed) brussel sprout connoisseur and these were perfectly cooked paired with a sauce that complimented them perfectly. They make their pasta fresh and the ice cream is house made. These details speak to the pride, quality and creativity they put into their food. Every dish had a some sort of sauce that made it stand out from similar dishes I ve had at other restaurants. The service was prompt and impeccable. We were never without anything. Our water was always full, our plates were always cleared, he had what we needed when we needed it and never had to ask for anything. I know it sounds simple, but as a former restaurant employee, I know how special it is when servers can anticipate a guest s needs. The food came out quickly and the whole experience moved at the perfect pace. The atmosphere was both lively and sophisticated and I can t wait to go back!

We ate here NYE. Our server was fantastic and attentive. Drinks and appetizers were good. The main dishes were all meh. Hard to mess up steak frite but it was inedible. Steak was very chewy and the fries were like frozen. Definitely not what one would expect from a restaurant! The fish was also too fishy. The only meal that was ok was the pasta. Not sure I ll hurry back though I can walk here.

Worse experience here , I got the chicken sandwich it was totally red and uncooked inside and outside was burned. Not a good experience with the food or the service, the waitress was really rude and not friendly at all. I don t recommend this restaurant to anyone, and will never go back.

Surprisingly the Buratta salad was the best thing we ate. So much flavor, crunch, texture, creativity. I also loved the service and the fact they recommended me what they thought was the best item rather than the most expensive. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

A great restaurant with delicious food and drinks, friendly and happy staff, and a clean and comfortable environment. Every one of the dishes we ordered were fresh and flavorful; the hangar steak was particularly tender. The drink menu has quite the variety - it will take many return visits before weve tried even a decent number of items from the alcoholic drink section. Each one we tried was refreshing and unique, making it a tough choice between ordering a new drink or another round of the same. Despite a pretty good-sized crowd, the staff were all upbeat and took the time to check in on us, let us ask questions, and kept us well-attended. It was very energizing to see happy employees, and that tied the whole experience together for us.

Tasty food & drink. But literally EVERYTHING (apps, entree, drinks, dessert), everything was micro-sized. Felt like it was for kids. We left really hungry. Great vibes inside though.

Stopped by for a weeknight dinner (made prior reservations) and this place was packed when we walked in around 8:30 PM. We were immediately seated and loved the ambience and vibe of this place. The menu looked short and crisp - which I always appreciate since it helps limit my confusion. We ordered the following items: 1. Oysters: Excellent fresh raw oysters with a bergamot hibiscus granita. We liked this one. 2. Bread & Butter: The bread was a tad bit chewy but the black garlic butter was good. 3. Albondigas: Pork + Lamb meatballs served with roasted red pepper and hazelnut hummus-y spread. We liked this dish. 4. Mushroom Pasta with Shrimp + Chicken: Our fav dish of the night. The creamy sauce with truffle oil and mushrooms was hands down one of the best mushroom pastas I have eaten in my life. We ordered additional prawns and chicken and they were cooked to perfection. Overall I will crave this dish and be back for this. 5. Cocktails: Monkey Paw & Robert Jordan. Both these drinks were delicious but I loved the Monkey Paw a tab bit more than the Robert Jordan. This place clearly is a very good cocktail bar. Presentation for all dishes was on point and the portions were good for 2 if you order multiple starters but a single entrée. It is an expensive place for sure so be ready for that fat check. This place felt too loud to have a date night but can be a cool place to make dinner plans with friends. Service was top notch and food was out pretty soon. I will be back to try more cocktails and for their mushroom pasta. Highly recommend online reservations for this place.

We had your beet salad and you re tomato salad both were absolutely excellent! Excellent! I had your braised beef cheeks, and it was way too salty for me. The meat was absolutely delicious cooked perfectly. The rest of what was on the plate had way too much salt which affected everything

We ve been here multiple times and always really enjoy it. Creative cocktails and food. A little bit bit noisy if you have people who have difficulty hearing.

I was greeted promptly when i arrived and immediately seated at the bar (the seat which i requested). The bartender was very nice and took great care of me. We were able to communicate despite my limited hearing that day. The food came quick, hot, was very tasty, and of good quality. I recommend this place and plan to be back soon.

Food was delish! We enjoyed every bite. The beet salad was great as were the dates. Felt a little strange that the dates were priced individually and they were very tiny....but we still love this place and book a reservation every several months for a date night. Highly recommend!

Great evening spot for craft cocktails and share plates (a few beer options on draft as well). Low-lit atmosphere with an array of cocktails and spirits (I recommend the New York Sour for any whiskey sour fans (real egg-white used). For food options, the Steak Frites was a solid choice. I also usually order the Steak Tartare however this time around, it seems the recipe has changed. Definitely not as flavorful as it was in the past. The portion size has also gotten smaller and the delicious plantain chips that used to accompany the tartare have been changed to waffle chips. Unless they revert back to the previous recipe, I would steer clear. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

Great place to have dinner if you like a lot of noise.

I have special appreciation for places that can make an uneventful and mellow Wednesday night dinner into something special. We went in with a couple of friends for a casual dinner and had a very memorable experience. The truffle fries of theirs is very good and so was their mushroom pasta. Small yet effective cocktail menu (the penicilin was done right). Ambiance par excellence!

One of my favorite spots to kick it back with a small group and enjoy an exquisite craft cocktail. I highly recommend the mushroom pasta or burger. Their truffle fries are also a must.

This is the place to go for creative and delightful craft cocktails. The bartender really knows what theyre talking about and can recommend something based on your type of preference. They have small bites and even full meals which trend toward upscale casual. The atmosphere is warm, wood panels and old school pub feel. Its a bit loud and can be crowded, and of course not inexpensive. But you will be disappointed.

Weve been here many times in the past, the last a little over a year ago. Im not sure what happened since then but the quality has dropped. The Cubano is more like a pulled pork sandwich and the lamb ragu is incredibly salty. The service was pretty underwhelming.

Slow service, salty food, tried to take plates away when we were still eating (?!) - obviously this was because the next dish was coming out and they were trying to make room...but why should my pace of eating be dictated by their poor planning on entering our order?

My wife and I love this restaurant. The service and atmosphere is top notch. The cocktails are excellent, as is the food. This is our favorite place to to eat in Kirkland and the perfect date night spot.

Great drinks, lovely staff and amazing food. As one person said probably the best burger in the Seattle area. The marinara sauce works surprisingly well with it which I wasnt expecting. Its on the more expensive side but more than worth it I think!

We were intrigued by a Hemingway-inspired restaurant, and just walking through the curtains leading to the front-door starts you off with a Speakeasy vibe. They have a novel way of organizing the dishes and cocktails around places and themes from Hemingways life. We explored the menu tapas-style and all our choices were delicious and well prepared. Loved the octopus. Inventive drinks here. Definitely want to return. My one wish is for there to be more red-wine options below $70.

Expensive food but pretty bad service. Even though not many people there (early weekdays) they immediately ask to clean the dishes (it was very uncomfortable). Feel like they are only watching us bc there were no people. Felt really rush out. And salad has big fish in it ! So weird

First off, to save the staff some time-- the bathroom is not the door you think it is. Its over by the bar! Entrance was wheelchair accessible, though the tables were mostly up on platforms or were high tops (or at the bar.) This spot was surprisingly romantic and dim lit for such a summery afternoon. The Cubano was actually a Cubano, with very minor embellishments. The Roasted Beet Salad had a harissa labneh under it that was and not too spicy. Staff struck that perfect balance of being attentive but leaving us to to enjoy our time together. Will definitely be back, and soon!

Went here with my girlfriend and all we can say is WOW! This is a cute smaller restaurant, wonderful for date nights. The service was great, the drinks were fantastic, and the food was THE BEST! Price: You get what you pay for, it s not a Red Robin.

This is my second visit, my first was last month and it was so good we I went back. The only reason I havent given 5 stars is that I would like a couple of extra veggie choices in saying that I have really enjoyed the food the tastes and textures in the carrot and pea rigatoni were delicious as were the non alcoholic cocktail. Attentive service, decent food, and good ginger beer at this local spot. The pineapple rum cake is a nice treat that comes freshly baked in its own little cast iron skillet, too! If youre not walking here, street parking is scant, so the public lot by the library or the one at Marina Park ($1/hr) may be better options if you dont mind a little walk.

Came with family. We made a reservation for 3, and once we arrived, we were seated immediately at a lovely booth. The restaurant was packed, but we were still able to get our drinks in a pretty reasonable time frame despite the server being concerned it may take a while. Our table tried the steak tartare (phenomenal) with cocktails to start. All the cocktails were delightful and the steak tartare was out of this world. I dont live in the area, but I would come alone and order wine and this dish for myself if Im ever in town. Dinner entrees: Lamb Shank, Salmon (appears to not be on the menu now a couple weeks later) and mine was the Lamb Ragu. I did not get offered a bite of the Lamb Shank (rude haha), but it looked DIVINE. I did try the Salmon which not only looked beautiful plated, but tasted delicious, and my lamb ragu was a burst of different flavors and textures. The campatelle pasta was made from beets and spinach and there was a smoked beet puree that was painted on the plate. Im not sure what all was placed on top of the pasta, but it helped lighten the heaviness of the pasta. To be honest, Im not a beet fan, but this dish called my name, and it certainly did not disappoint. I ate beyond being full and had zero regrets. I thought the food and drinks, the service, price were very reasonable for the quality of the food and for the Seattle area. 10/10 will be back again

Hemingway and bites!

Decor and casual vibe doesn t fit the menu outside of the pizza and burgers what does that mean? So, we ordered the rockfish and pork chop rock fish as tasty as ever but the forbidden rice added mystery and substance between risotto and rice again, very tasty. Then the pork chop highly recommended side sauce was so complimentary to the tasty cut of pork but what s with the grilled endive approached cautiously then dove in! Altogether with the smooth, creamy mashed potatoes made for a tasty - and memorable- meal. Well played Hearth Restaurant, well played.

Everything about our dinner here was amazing from start to finish. This was one of my favorite meals in a very long time. The mussels were delicious, the lamb was AMAZING, the black cod was honestly the star though. The food here was such a pleasant surprise. Each dish was so thoughtful and unique. Everyone should know about this restaurant I cannot believe I hadn t heard of it before. Can t wait to go back!!! Will be bringing all my friends here.

Great atmosphere. Great burger and drinks.

TLDR: Amazing drinks, good ambience, mediocre pretentious portions of food. This place is great for an expensive date night. The ambience is great for two. No minors allowed. Every single drink we had was on point! The hibiscus sour was a perfect blend of sweet & sour and very Instagram worthy. The Robert Jordan was not fancy looking but the best tasting tropical drink! Old Cuban was great too! In food, we ordered a bunch of apps, which were priced like entrees but portion sizes were fit for an infant. None of the food items I tried were worth the price: very mediocre flavors. The steak tartare had many fancy ingredients that did not blend well together, The tostones too lacked flavor and seemed devoid of salt. We ended with the bourbon caramel pot de creme dessert which was absolutely delicious! And surprisingly cheap (6$) for this overpriced restaurant. I would come here again for the drinks for sure but will skip the food! Service was good too!

Very cool atmosphere, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. They had a non alcoholic beer, and they offered to make any cocktails into mocktails for the non drinkers in the group which was great! The only reason its not a 5 star is they didnt really have any vegetarian or vegan options on the menu.

I really enjoy the cocktails but the service is consistently a let down, waited 15 minutes at a table before I just got up and left when they were not too busy.

I had dinner with family at Bottle and Bull last night. The service was amazing and the food was perfect; high quality and good portions. I have food allergies and the bartender offered me a food allergy spreadsheet which identifies all allergens in each dish. The cook staff was very conscientious about prepping my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be back.

Great drinks, super cool atmosphere. The food was hands down the best Ive had in ages. Amazing experience, well definitely be back to try other food and drinks! Get the muscles. They were cooked perfectly. Would have taken pictures of the food, but it looked so good I forgot to and just ate!

Great food and service, a bit of noise with open kitchen on a busy night, but overall experience was great. Will be back.
