108 Kirkland Ave, Kirkland, WA 98033, United States
Longtime mom-&-pop with a bar serving American & Mediterranean dishes from breakfast to dinner.
Great location but staff seemed aloof and not welcoming at all. They didn't even say hello to us and didnt even bother to follow up after our order. The server just dropped the check and left. The only reason i am giving 2 stars is another server was kind enough to ask us for a coffee refill but that was the extent of hospitality. The dishes were ok but the food I ordered was on a saltier side. Finding a parking is a pain but there are a couple of paid parking lots around. Good thing about the menu was they had good vegetarian options and were clearly marked.
I ordered the steak chimichurri mid rare. The description said it’s sirloin and the pics from a year ago looked great. However, what I got was a flat overcooked piece of cheep steak smothered in sauce. To our server’s credit, she did try to fix it by redoing the steak but it came in rare and wet with cold eggs. So, not a great experience. Anyway, pretty disappointed as I remember George’s as an amazing breakfast place that we have been coming to for 15 years before the pandemic. Guess things down hill significantly. Will try again in another 5 years.
Great environment, like a traditional dinner. The food menu is massive with many unique items like the meat poutine, while still having stable alike chicken and waffles, and avocado toast.
George’s in Kirkland is a beloved local spot that has been serving the community for decades. Located at 108 Kirkland Avenue, this family-owned restaurant is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. One of the highlights of George’s is its fantastic breakfast menu. The Athenian omelet, packed with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor, is a must-try. Their buttermilk pancakes and Belgian waffles are also crowd favorites, perfect for a hearty start to the day. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great value for money. The service at George’s is consistently praised by visitors. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient, even during busy times. This level of service adds to the overall positive dining experience. The restaurant also offers a separate kids’ menu, making it a family-friendly spot where everyone can find something they love. In addition to breakfast, George’s serves a variety of Greek and American dishes for lunch and dinner. The gyros and Greek salads are particularly popular, offering a taste of Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of Kirkland. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying their meals. Overall, George’s is a staple in the Kirkland community, known for its delicious food, excellent service, and welcoming environment. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, George’s is definitely worth a visit.
This place has really changed. Unfortunately all the new owners don't seem to keep it as it is but make it worse. We've been going there for 20 years always ordering the same thing Western omelette. Today the Western omelette was about 40% smaller. I wouldn't mind that if it still tasted the same but it didn't. By cutting it back so much they've reduced the juices and the flavors. Time for us to find a new favorite breakfast spot.
Their french toast was literally surface buttered white bread. Not even close to french toast. Their hash brown was terribly soft, way undercoocked. Terrible susages. Honestly the quality of the food was not good at all.
I would like to start by saying that me and my family have been around Redmond and Kirkland looking for that one spot that never fails to deliver. I am happy to share that George’s is that spot. Kid approved and the portions are just the right size for the price. Some ingredients could use a crafted option such as the chicken and waffles. I would not mind paying an extra few dollars for a craft buttermilk breaded chicken. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. The consistency is just right. Not dry and not moist. Pancakes is not my first breakfast option but i would totally order the lumberjack again. Its really enough for 2 people. I picked the Meat lovers scramble option. I would have liked the onions a bit more on the light char and caramelized. I am sure if I would have asked they would have delivered. Overall great service, ambience, kid approved french toast and waffles! We are definitely coming back to this place and i highly recommend it. Plenty of seats around. Sunday brunch and we were in within 5 minutes. This place is a must if you are looking for a surprise at breakfast/brunch time.
Went specifically for breakfast. Was good but not great and there was lots of it. However, seemed as if many of the individual dishes were under seasoned. That’s fixable so no big deal. The hash browns should be crisper but that’s a preference. Good service and attentiveness. Two things otherwise: there is nothing to absorb sound so this place is loud, especially for an older crowd. Next, the coffee cups are narrow, slightly top heavy and slightly prone to tipping. I understand this makes them cheap and stackable, but still.
Georges has changed alot since he died. I was very disappointed when I dined there. The food was disappointed.
Dietary restrictions: Offer gluten free toast Food
Great selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items here - with a diner feel. Welcoming and fast service
Food was great. Perfect location for breakfast in downtown Kirkland. 2 blocks from the waterfront.
Alright, after my 4th time here, I can say that the service definitely is consistently poor. Whether theyre busy or an average mid week lunch, getting your servers attention is near impossible - its like theyre wearing blinders. On this unfortunate visit, I walked in after a large group, but obviously not with them as they were there before I came in. The front desk girl looked at me and then immediately looked away. I thought she was working to seat the first group, so I stood there. Not until 5 mins later, when another guest came in, did she ask the guest how she could help, and the lady said I was there before here. Without skipping a beat, I told her table for one. The restaurant wasnt full, but it was a Sunday. Not even an option, Can you sit at the bar? Hands me a menu, its self-serve. And goes back to the other lady... wow... fast forward a bit, got my food, at least its always decent here (its saving grace). Want a coffee/drink refill? Good luck. My mug sat empty for at least 10 minutes and was only asked if I wanted more coffee when the guy next to me was ordering his food. Waiting for service and getting poor service seems to be a reoccurring theme here. Is the abuse worth a slight above mid meal? You decide for yourself, but Im not coming back. Side note, if youre here with friends, expect a loud atmosphere, so conversations need to also be on the louder side to even be able to hear each other. Food timing is also hit or miss depending on how busy they are. A shame, really, especially when youre spending $30-40+/person for breakfast, you should at least be able to have a good meal where they appreciate your patronage.
Awesome place and great. Food
Perfect!
Food was great, and the service was awesome!!
There was meat in my veggie omelette. Atmosphere is great. Food was okay. Vegetarian options: There was meat in my veggie omelette. Food : 2/5 |
lets talk about breakfast is clearly more expensive than a restaurant, classic American food so nothing superlative and common food. from my part never more
I used to come here very frequently years and years ago. Unfortunately the quality of food and service has gone down hill. My order was messed up twice. We got a family friend discount of $1.95 off our total bill. Very disappointing, will not be coming back.
Today i placed an order over the phone and they said the order will be 10 mins. I drove to georges to pick up the food which is a 10 min drive and they said it would be another 10 mins. 10 mins passes by and i ask if the food is ready and they said its almost ready and i asked how long. They told me 20 mins. I left. Food is good but it s always packed in there. Never had a bad experience with this place until today. Felt kinda lied to.
One of the owners of the restaurant continues to argue with me in front of other customers because I asked why they don t add pricing of sauces on the menu - nor do they tell you about it when you order - but they have it on the receipt. Regardless of how long this establishment has been open - the service is never good and they don t care b/c they are busy. Food is okay, classic diner spot.
Lived in the area for 47 years and never visited this place. Fabulous, large portion breakfast. Will definitely return!!
Ate there twice with my cousin George and wife while in Seattle for a cruise, and both times was delighted with my meal. The eggs poutine and the various versions of egg Benedict are especially delicious.
Great service. Good menu. Food was timely and nice and hot. But it was LOUD in there!
Enjoyed the most delicious Beet Salad. I added gyro meat for protein and took home enough for a whole meal. We also ordered the Baklava pancake for the table to share and it was sooo good. The service was fantastic and I looked forward to returning.
Classic dinner with a little Greek flavor. Have eaten here many times and have always been happy enough. And the half orders are particularly appreciated
It was pretty busy when our family visited here. However, the server forgot our food or something happened so the food came out completely COLD. I dont want to recommend this place at all!
The food quantity was very small in portion, the servers were rude we asked for a change in seating they denied us even after they had multiple empty spots, the taste was very basic.I would not go here again.
Good food
Great food in a comfortable friendly atmosphere in downtown Kirkland, WA. Parking is tough, so plan on walking to this Northwest classic. Parking: Limited at best. Plan on parking blocks away and walking to Georges.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Kids menus and high chairs are available. Weve been coming with our baby sleeping in a stroller, a baby and a preschooler, now the baby has started solids and enjoys the food with us! Food
Garbage
Great breakfast spot. Several tables that are good for larger (8) groups. Like that they have a half-option for several of their breakfast menu items.
Had an amazing breakfast. Best in Seattle area
Georges is a delight. Theyre a great breakfast option in downtown Kirkland. Good food, good service, great all-round experience.
Food is good but $50+ for breakfast for two is a bit steep for omelets and coffee. Portions have also gotten smaller. Service is great though. I like this place best during the summer when they open up the side of the restaurant. Food
Vibes are good! Definitely packed on a Sunday morning. David was our waiter and he was great and consistent about checking in. We ordered the chorizo hash and biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy was pretty creamy, so it didn t have a lot of flavor but was still one of the better ones I have had. The chorizo hash was where it s at! Super delicious and the taste was great! Atmosphère was good but we were seated near the dishes clean up area which was kind of loud at times. Other than that, great experience!
An institution with fair prices and fresh tasting food. Hash browns that actually get crisped enough! Walkable to several cool shops around the lake. Get there before 9 am on the weekends as it starts to fill up.
Georges offers a fantastic breakfast experience. My recent omelet with hash browns, bacon, sausage, and cheese was delicious, and the service was incredibly prompt. Our food arrived in under ten minutes. I highly recommend Georges and will definitely return.
If your looking for a menu with everything on it go to Georges. Service is not the greatest and atmosphere is loud.
Amazing Restaurant Breakfast Kirkland dinning at its best
Georges is a neighborhood mainstay for many years. You will find this place always packed for weekend brunch. Its loud, a bit chaotic with the crowds, but the food is delicious and what a good local diner should be. Kid-friendliness: They have a separate kids menu with a picture you can color on the other side. Very family friendly place.
Great for brunches! Benedicts are delicious and some interesting coffee beverages
Too loud
Had a delightful breakfast experience at George s in Kirkland! Biscuits and gravy with eggs and hashbrowns is a classic choice, hearty and satisfying. It s always a tough decision when you re faced with a menu full of tempting options.
Georges was rated very well, so we figured wed try it out. First off as a disclaimer, the restaurant was packed and service was slow because of it. But, Im not holding that against them because the staff was friendly and accommodating when they could. The food itself is really what Im focusing on. The food was decent, but nothing special. Our party got the chicken fried steak, the roast beef dip, french toast, and spaghetti (kids plate). Out of all of this, nothing was bad, but nothing was really special either. The chicken fried steak was crunchy and the gravy had some flavor, but neither were as rich and decadent you expect from the dish. The roast beef dip was light on roast beef. The french fries were served lukewarm, at best (but this could be because they were slammed). The french toast was fine, but it wasnt better than something we could make at home. So, overall, the restaurant was fine, the staff was very friendly, but the food made it very meh. Maybe it could have been better if they werent so busy, but we werent impressed with this visit.
Fun place that was packed! My daughter and I loved our breakfast! But we both werent super interested in the UFC fights on TV. I think we would have both preferred Saturday morning cartoons
So I got the Mac and cheese but guess what ITS HORRIBLE the Mac and cheese was way to hard and the texture was rubbery and had no flavor and was way too elastic you couldn t even taste the macaroni but at least the coffee was good
Nice place that open early to have a very relax weekend morning
Some of the worst service Ive ever had, probably because we didnt even get any. Sat down for breakfast with enough time to get food and take my gf to the airport. After 20 minutes of sitting and waiting, still no one even looked our way. We got up and left, no one even questioned why we were leaving. Im a chef and have been in the industry for years, not sure if this was the managers fault for not scheduling enough servers to cover all the sections or if it was just the servers not caring but definitely wont be going back there again.
Service was Excellent, food was just ok.
Love the place, everything is neat and organized, and the food, the food is really good!!!! I ve been here maybe a thousand times and will recommend.
Never disappoints.
We love coming here. The food is good and the service has always been good. Go, youll like it!
Consistently great food and service.
Great selection
Decent breakfast
Located conveniently with ample parking and within walking distance of a scenic park and lake, Georges stands out as a practical choice for breakfast meetings or a morning refuel. The strategic location not only offers ease of access but also provides a calm, picturesque setting for those who appreciate a good start to their day. At the heart of Georges appeal is its consistent delivery of high-quality breakfast fare. Whether its a classic egg breakfast or a more adventurous dish, the quality is always consistently good. The kitchen clearly takes pride in their work, presenting dishes that are both hearty and satisfying, appealing to those with a discerning palate. The professionalism of the staff at Georges is noteworthy. They strike the right balance between efficiency and friendliness, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience without unnecessary fuss. Their attentiveness and quick service add a sophisticated touch, making Georges an ideal spot for those who appreciate a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to a quality breakfast.
Cute place to eat, and not as expensive as you d expect for being a street-parking, by-the-water kinda place. However it was more expensive in person by a few dollars a plate than any menu I could find online said it would be. So I took some updated pictures. I got the biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns and my husband got the Huevos rancheros. He seemed to like his alright, and mine was ok too. But weirdly the biggest offender was the hash browns. I ve never had this as a complaint, but it was overwhelmingly oily. All you could taste was just cooking oil. There was no soft bits at all, it was like it was deep fried. Also there is no sausage in the gravy which I knew from the menu but still for a $15 plate that s kinda crazy. Also the food took about 30 minutes at 7:30am so we were pretty hungry.
Its a good quick Cafe. We eat soup and omelet. The omelet was good but the soup was too buttery for my taste.
We went to this place for a breakfast day after valentines with my husband. Its warm and cozy place to eat. Food was great!! Ambiance is homely, people dont mind if its quite loud thats what I like about it. COUNTRY STYLE!
Service was slow but food was great
Just visited this spot on a whim for Boxing Day breakfast. The place is clean, the atmosphere is buzzy, and my server Jorge was always happy to help. If you re in town and are craving that classic greasy spoon diner breakfast, don t miss this one.
Tried the Corinthian Omelette here with Gluten free toast and a Hashbrown! They had 4 different kinds of hot sauce which helped bring some spice. Great service and atmosphere too :) Parking: Theres a paid parking lot on the next block. Street parking is pretty hard to find as its a busy area.
The best brunch place on the eastside of Seattle. I love the salmon Benedict. A lot of coffee selections with different milk options. I had a mocha with almond milk. Great lunch menu, full bar if you drink. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread available
Too crowded
The service was slow but it didnt matter because we were chatting. The food was tasty. It was full of people.
Upon entering, the warm ambiance of the restaurant instantly made us feel welcome. The waitress was not only accommodating but also provided helpful answers to our questions, leaving us with a great first impression. The chorizo benedict exceeded expectations with its perfectly seasoned chorizo, bursting with flavor and leaving us craving more. The attentive service, especially with the never-empty coffee cups, added to the overall positive experience. In summary, this restaurant is a delightful choice for a satisfying breakfast.
Poor qaulity sausages. Everything else was ok.
Great local spot in Kirkland that has been around forever. The food is always good with chorizo eggs Benedict being my favorite. They have a few TVs up so you won t miss a game.
always delicious
We came here for breakfast. We ordered veggies omelette and mushroom omelette. Food arrived very quickly. Pretty busy breakfast place.
This is a popular breakfast spot, but we were able to have a party of 5 seated in about 10 minutes. The menu has indicators of vegetarian items, but I didnt see a lot of vegan options. I tried the avocado toast, but had to ask to remove the bacon, which they were able to accommodate. Not the best avocado toast Ive had. For example, the cheese on it looked like it was just cut up sliced cheese. I did enjoy the fruit that accompanied it. Vegetarian options: Accommodate removing items to make it vegetarian.
First time visit, will definitely revisit!!!
Fun place to meet others. Great neighborhood vibe!
Great brunch and great sandwiches!
The food is fine
Good food and good service. Friendly staff.
Staple in Kirkland. Amazing food options for any meal and has many vegetarian options. Breakfast is best, but also busiest.
Don t even think about giving George s anything other than 5 stars. You do not know breakfast cafes if you score George s less. The ambiance is so cafe Kirkland, the food is yummy and fast, and the morning cocktails - Bloody Mary for me, thank you, one more - are perfect. You cannot ask for more in a breakfast joint.
A Saturday morning habit, George s. We sidle up to the bar, enjoy a Bloody Mary or 2, and then dive into the menu. Today I pivoted from my regular choices on the omelet menu and indulged in the chicken and waffles. Have not ever made a bad choice at George s. The servers and bartenders only make the experience better.
Wonderful place for breakfast food. Ive been twice. I had an omelette once and the other time got a breakfast platter. I will be back to try the lunch menu!
Food was very good, had breakfast at lunch. Never been here before, we will go back and try other things. Oh and Bloody Mary as well, better than most places.
Outstanding. We shared the California Eggs Benedict. Delicious! Service? Super! Well be back!!
Great breakfast spot
Great place for breakfast, but too many flys
Fast service! Totally worth the wait for brunch on a Sunday. Delicious, fresh and so many yummy options! Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free toast And gluten free cheese curds
The menu looks inspired to a traditional American diner with a Greek twist. And thats just fine. The food is just ok though. Both my Eggs Benedict and my wifes Garden Scrambles were not properly salted - and those are dishes you can just sprinkle salt on after cooking, nah ah! The hash browns were also on the sweet side, but at least one can add some sal to them. The hot chocolate, no.. just forget that, they have the one made by the machine. Come on.. any restaurant should do better. I can get the same at work. Place is ok, could use some remodeling perhaps. Could also be tidier. And, while waiting for our seats we had to negotiate the small hallway space with a crew member who was bringing in a 50 gallons trash bin through the main entrance. Really?..
George s was great. Great service and food. Bring your appetite the portions are huge.
I would go again but just for the appetizers they have... Weve tried their burgers beef and chicken and both were below average. But the appetizers were really good!
Good service, good omelet, but the hash browns were lukewarm, unsalted, and mushy in the middle.
Wonderful dining experience
Good food and friendly staff. Parking is a headache. It is either metered or private (pay by app). I got ticketed even though I paid by app so be sure to keep a screenshot of your parking receipts around here.
Breakfast is very good, large delicious portions, good service. Chicken and waffles had good chicken
If you re going for a place with good food and not rude waiters, avoid this place.
Went 5 years ago and didnt love it, but decided to give it another shot. The service was overall good considering how busy it was. The food however was horrible. The hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was crumbly and almost cold, hash browns very greasy and the waffles are just meh. Overall I dont get all the great reviews even if compared to other diners.
Server was not friendly at all. The food was okay. We got the Greek gyro and the beet salad. The salad had approximately 10 little squares of beets....why do they ca ll it the beet salad ? For the price the food was okay but definitely not worth going back.
Our food was just eh. We waited 45 minutes for hashbrowns and bacon then another 25 to get our check. Half the tables were empty so not sure what happened. We have hit and miss food quality here in the past.
Great service and food, but plan to pay for it...spendy $45. for two breakfasts.
Great place for family and friends. My grandkids had a great time. Good good and the price is reasonable
Great service, yummy food! Friendly and happy staff! Always a wonderful time!!
Diner in Greek style. Veggie omelettes are great.
Not great. I think there are several better places within walking distance that you can trade money for food. Fish and chips ($18) came with essentially two fish sticks, combined were no bigger than a deck of cards. Reuben sandwich ($17) had very little meat on it. Tasted like a toasted cheese and mustard sandwich. Wait staff was inattentive, and they weren t busy. Won t be back.
I got the lumberjack breakfast and it was quite underwhelming. First, everything tasted like it was doused in oil, and it was not appetizing at all. The french toast was just white bread cut up, and the sausage left skid marks of grease. My fiancé got the baklava pancakes and those were quite tasty. Overall wouldn t come back as a heart attack awaits me at home from oil.
Overpriced food, and flavors were just average. Got an omelette and a pancake. The menu has 2 pancakes or 4. When I asked if they also do a single, was told yes, but they didnt explain it was the same price as getting 2. I would have just saved the second one had I known that.
What a great breakfast spot tucked away in Kirkland! Everything was served hot off the griddle, I hate warm or cold and old food that has sat around under a heat lamp. Pancakes were fluffy and the Chicken fried Steak with gravy was awesome!
I had the country fried steak and eggs it was amazing. My only issue was it was very loud inside but I mean that s not something they can control but if definitely come back again
Super delicious and clean place! No need to reserve for Sat. early morning. We got garden scramble and farmland omelette, yummy!!! Definitely recommended. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread is amazing !
Place is usually busy. Bigger inside than what it looks. Does have a full service bar. Of course because it is in the middle of downtown Kirkland parking is always going to be an issue. Best bet is to park farther away and walk. And you already know I had to get the French toast.
I love the Baclava pancakes!
Great for breakfast in my opinion. I love breakfast foods.
Always the best food and experience
Gonna be back! Fantastic
Great food and service, you won t be disappointed.
The only thing that was an issue was the parking but it is what it is. Friendly fast service and the food was great! I saw on the menu they had a option for keto breakfast so that was nice!
Awesome Eggs Benedict!
Super busy for brunch, but chill for dinner
This was my second time to Georges and it was as good as the first. I love the delicious food, ambiance and the service!! I stumbled upon this wonderful eatery where they pride them selves on their food and their service for good reason.
Georges is wonderful! The food is excellent and the service is always outstanding. Its clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. Ive had their country fried steak and eggs and its properly southern. Their eggs Benedict is a popular item as well. If you want excellent food and service I would highly recommend Georges.
Gorgonzola burger was amazing, 5-star burger. The bacon eggacado sandwich was satisfying, 4 stars. The lemon chicken soup was horrifying, do not order. The tomato soup was good though, and they swapped it out with no complaints. Pretty average price. Biggest point of improvement would be interior decor. The playlist is nice and fits the vibe of a diner well, but the decor looks like the type of front end a back end engineer would make. Its not bad, but its very simple and missing a lot of flair that would really make it special.
If youre hungry this place will definitely feed you. Childs plate comes with a lot of food. My grandson loves the French toast. Ive only had breakfast here but highly recommend it.
We had breakfast at Georges. The place was already hopping at 8:00 but we got right in. My smoked salmon eggs Benedict was delicious (you may want to also order a side of fruits or vegs to counteract the guilt ;-). My wife was delighted with the Keto plate (though the way the foods were distinctly compartmentalized may look a tad stark). Well definitely be back to try dinner.
Food was great. I enjoyed the waffle with strawberries. The server was attentive until after we got our food. The table was cleared while we were waiting for the check, and we had to flag her down a few times in order to get our check. Parking: Had to park on the other side of the restaurant. We were able to snag a free spot, but there is a paid parking lot option too.
Been going for lunch since the mid 80s. Always busy and always good food and has been even with change of ownership.
I just had to just get up and walk out. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes, and nobody even said a word to me. At times there were 3 workers behind the bar and they all just looked at me like they had no idea what they were doing. I definitely wont be going back there and I definitely do not recommend wasting your time at that place.
We heard George s was a good restaurant but, we agreed that this was not just good, but great! They opened at 8:00am and at 8:04, the place was already half full and by 9:00, they were 100% full, but, the service stayed at a top level. As busy as the place was, our server put a few minutes aside to chat. They moved people in and out, food was brought to the table quickly and it was delicious!
Fun, busy and what Ive tasted great food. I admit, Ive only been there once so far. I will be going back without question. Parking: Im handicapped so I got a spot on the street right in front. There is street parking, depending on when you are there. I know ow of two close by lots that charge.
One of us had lunch and the other breakfast. The Denver omelette was delicious and the Rainbow salad was as well. Both were served in a timely manner by courteous wait staff. We were able to find convenient on street parking just outside where we sat.
Was my first visit and really enjoyed the breakfast. The team was fantastic, friendly, fun. Coffee was good. The restaurant seating was beautiful.
At the American breakfast restaurant Kirkland in downtown Seattle, I ate the chicken fried steak that I had been thinking about for several years. It came with hash brown and whole wheat bread. Except for the main course, everything was delicious, but the fried chicken-like steak was dry. 10 points disappointing
Great option for brunch, I liked the Eggs Benedict Parking: Easier to park in the library about 3 blocks from the place Food : 5/5 |
Had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was underwhelming basically just chicken fingers but the waffles were fluffy and tasty.
Excellent breakfast food, fun atmosphere and friendly wait staff! Dietary restrictions: Lactose intolerant Food : 5/5 |
George s is a great spot right in downtown Kirkland. I mostly go for breakfast and they are great. Lunch sandwiches are excellent as well. Great fries. Always good friendly service with a smile.
If you want to experience authentic delicious thought out food experiences, this is the place to come to. Even there cocktails are excellent, being greeted by beautiful people is also a plus.
Great spot for breakfast in downtown Kirkland. Fun atmosphere, fine wait staff and best hash browns ever!
Great old school breakfast spot. Terrific hash browns, nice wait staff.
The staff is amazing, very happy and quick service, the atmosphere is that of being at a nice holiday meal with all of the chatter and laughter, food was so delicious, didnt even need to use the salt and pepper....
Early morning breakfast with the two kiddos. Diner coffee, English football, and an experience we wont forget.
Meh! The place was dirty and the food was over greasy! Won t go again.
Had eggs Benedict and everything about them was cold . plate was cold, hollandaise sauce cold ..hash browns in eatable due to grease ! Also an our table an omelette again inside of Denver omelette with ice cold!!! Used to love this place!!!
The food is delicious, the staff is amazing. It s a must try when in Kirkland.
This is by far my current favorite restaurant! I ve been here twice now and each time tried a new pasta dish with the chicken and rice soup. That soup is one of the best soups of all time, it s perfection with just a squeeze of lemon :) the atmosphere is quiet and so refreshing! I love this place!
Great service, great food!
Really great place to grab bread/lunch and the food is amazing. A bit too loud and noisy, but if that doesnt bother you, then deff will recommend. Service is really good, very friendly staff. Food
TLDR: Great food, terrible service. Georges has a really good breakfast. The food is consistently really delicious large portioned diner food. There is almost always a decent sized wait but the food is worth the half hour wait. What is frustrating is the service is consistently terrible. Expect to overpay for a cup of coffee that will never be refilled or other beverage. The wait staff seems consistently overloaded which probably contributes to the lack of service. The atmosphere is very loud and slightly chaotic so not the place to go if you want to have a conversation over a meal. Overall a great place to go on a weekend but really wish it didnt take chasing down a waiter to get a beverage refill, ask a question, or pay the bill.
Best diner food in Kirkland, period.
Tasty and very affordable food
Weve been going here off and on maybe once or twice a year for several years. They recently remodeled and the previous cafeteria motif is gone. The new look is much improved. The food has been consistent. Its diner fare, but above average. The big sticking point is terrible service. Its clearly a management problem. They are understaffed constantly and have piss poor policies.
Great efficient service, friendly staff and super tasty food. Californian Eggs Benedict was excellent! Look forward to returning.
This place never disappoints.
Really great brunch spot in downtown Kirkland with quality options. The eggs benedict are especially good! My one complaint is that there are no reservations and when you put your name on the wait-list, it is a literal list and will not call/text you. You have to have your full party before you are seated. On busy weekends you and your party will have to wait outside. Otherwise, great brunch option!
Good food and decent service. It gets pretty loud on the weekends. Good place for breakfast.
This place is in Kirkland its been at this location for as long as I remember Im 65 so long time not saying you have to but you should eat there
Food as to be expected. Service adequate. Atmosphere a bit dated. Nice buzz though. Certainly worth a visit.
Really love this Thai restaurant ! Six stars! Tasty food !
