The Mini Bagel Burger is a taste delight!

Veggie burgers not good at all, I couldn t finish it. I am very disappointed because the price was high.

We got burgers from here while waiting for our car to charge, this place is right across from Tesla super chargers. We didnt expect to love their burger so much, their meat is hugh quality and doesnt have a lot of fat and is not greasy. They also have East Asian food on their menue and portions are large. The employee was very nice and enjoyes the drink recommendation she gave us. We will definitely go back to try other options on their menue.

Great service and good food. We had the loco moco, bibimbap burger, chop chop salad and Ham Bao burger. Now I have another favorite burger.

A very wonderfully unexpected find in a strip mall near the Fred Meyers. The food here has always been above and beyond expectations and I have yet to try anything that I wouldnt try again. The burgers can be made gluten friendly by either lettuce wrap or a shredded lettuce bowl (I would recommend the lettuce bowl). The employees here are amazing and helpful to say the least.

Extremely delicious. We had 2 burgers and they were both huge, juicy and a fantastic mix of flavors. This place has a fusion from a wide range of inspiring ethnicities. Keep in mind fries are a 3$ add to a burger, so most burgers are going to be about $17 or more for a meal. Totally worth it.

I have driven past this restaurant a few times and wanted to give it a shot. After reading reviews from other patrons, I found that I had a very similar experience. I had the French blue burger, and it was very tasty. However, much like other reviews, the bun itself is far too large in comparison to the actual contents of the burger. I personally would have liked a little bit more seasoning on the actual patty, perhaps cooked more medium, versus medium well, but the toppings were delicious. The fries were nice and crispy, however had very little if any seasoning. I appreciated that it was a very filling burger meal for the cost. For $20 I think it was a very tasty burger and I would definitely come back to try another one.

It is the best burger place we have been in Seattle and our go to place whenever craving for a burger. Hear it from a person who has had amazing burgers in Texas. Staff are amazing specifically Sunny who is so friendly and welcoming! We love this place.

We had lunch at The Box on Saturday the 13th during Pokémon GoFest. Although we ordered to go, our food was accidentally given to someone else. However, we didnt mind as we were enjoying playing Pokémon Go at our table. The staff apologized multiple times and promptly replaced our order. Additionally, they generously offered us two extra salads and two extra fries! To our surprise, my husband later discovered they even refunded part of our payment. Their exceptional customer service left us impressed!!! But the highlight was the food itself absolutely delicious! Im not usually a fan of salads, but theirs featured the biggest and best cubed ham Ive ever had. The Da Hilo Boy burger had the most incredible BBQ sauce. Portions are large and perfect for sharing. Highly recommend!!!

First rate! I have NEVER had a bad meal there, everything on their menu is amazing. A small shop, the food they offer is sorta asian fusion, but that just means they mash all the good flavors together to make it as tasty as possible. Food so good, there are even a few menu items I havent gotten around to trying. I hope they never change, Ill be coming here forever.

Did you know this place is ranked in the top 100 restaurants in the United States? I didnt either! Holy smokes to this place knocks it out of the park! Yes, they have burgers, but there are other items on the menu where the real magic is. If youre looking for a truly incredible and unique meal, try out their karaage plate. Its incredible.

Received a cold uncooked burger. The bun was flavorless. Fries were good, staff were super friendly, wait took longer than normally. I expect to get warm food after waiting so long. Partner received warm food. For the price not worth it

This place is amazing! I went here the first time because I was charging in the parking lot at the Tesla chargers and grabbed a burger which was great. Came back to try some of the Hawaiian food options as I didn t realize they had this initially. So happy I did come back and try it with my husband because I was able to meet the owner Reis, who is awesome! We are Hawaiian and always looking for spots that have good food from home. This place I highly recommend and will be back and bringing the ohana too!

Food was great! The service was a little slow as we waited 10 minutes for a burger, fries, and chicken karaage plate and no other customer waiting for their orders. When my wife checked on the order, she found out that they were busy with a catering order. The food was actually ready but didn t get served when they were ready, so it had cooled down a bit. Seemed like some communication issue between the kitchen and the front. I am sure this is just a one-off. Will surely go back to try other offerings.

If anyone is having a party and don t want to cook, I would highly recommend getting catering from The Box. They have amazing Hawaiian fusion food and are so great to work with!

This food is art! Amazing combinations! My whole family loves this place (from toddlers to grandparents). New favorite for our family! Also, I really appreciate how they provide wikky sticks kits for kids to get entertained. They really go the extra mild to show how much they care about the whole experience!

The food, service, and atmosphere here are very good. Were big fans of the loco moco and karaage chicken plates, but everything is good. Dine in or take out. Parking can be a challenge at times. Worth the effort.

I ordered Han Bao and replaced the beef patty with chicken, since I dont eat beef and it was absolutely amazing. I cant imagine how good the original burger is. Sometimes when I eat a huge burger, the taste buds get saturated and I cant enjoy after Im full but this burger was good to the last bite. Also, the staff was so friendly.

We have been here several times and its so delicious every time. Will keep returning.

Great burger! Got the Hilo Boy and enjoyed it. Apparently I snuck under the wire because just before noon a crowd started to form. Takes a bit to get your food but well worth the wait for fresh cooked food. Fries were good too!

Creative menu of salads, burgers, and plates; including Asian/Hawaiian comfort food. Very good sides and condiments. A chop chop side salad came with my kalbi plate, along with pickled cucumber.

Im a local and this spot is my top pick when Im hungry and craving something tasty. Sunny, who works there, is awesome and really cares about the customers. I always go for the BiBimBap and Kalbi theyre my favorites. The vibe is super friendly, laid-back, and perfect for families. Plus, the plaza has everything you need with a gas station, Tesla chargers, and a Fred Meyer nearby.

This place is the best! The food is delicious (and just fyi all the burgers can be made into salads!!). The service is great. The local artist s cards and stickers at the cash wrap are also one of the reasons I love to visit. There is free parking (although the lot can be busy). And there are Gluten Free options. It s one of my favorite Kirkland stops for lunch. Enjoy!!

Randomly stumbled across this place on Google/Yelp on our way home from skiing. We were very pleasantly surprised! This place was so good! The burgers were all very unique and the two we tried were great. We also tried one of their baos which was very good. The server was very helpful in telling us about the menu and giving us some recommendations. They were also able to accommodate my wife s gluten sensitivity by making a salad out of her burger. The fries were also good. The prices are a little elevated compared to some burger shops, but these are unique creations using high quality ingredients. Other than that, no complaints, will for sure be back!

Food was pretty good but it was freezing inside and cooled the food pretty quickly. Couldn t enjoy it.

We ordered the salmon and chicken karaage plates. Everything was fresh, had great flavors, perfect portions, clean and comfortable atmosphere. Were definitely coming back!

Ive been to the box a few times at this point. I always enjoy the food Ive ordered. It comes out fresh and hot. You can grab something small such as the mini burger and a half salad or order a full meal like the Karage chicken. All of the staff has always been very nice, and food comes out fairly quick. Definitely recommend.

Visited for the first time, Feb. 8 2023. Let me tell ya, this place is a hidden gem. Very nice spot and chill mood. Ordered the Hawaiian Loco Moco, and it was soooo good. Service was fantastic. Food servings are very generous and very delicious. Reminds me of home cooked meals. I hope all the best for this business, and that it would flourish into different locations!

The best burger I ve ever had!!

One of my coworkers was using the restroom. Unfortunately, they took what was, to the employees, too long to do so. The person who presented themselves as a manager (Anita?) proceeded to bang on the door, loudly, and yelled, at equal volume, that my coworker was in there too long, and the restroom was for customers only (which he was). Even if there had been evidence of anything nefarious, theres a polite and respectful way to handle these situations. Public humiliation for bodily functions is not it.

I was using the restroom for a little too long I will admit. But Anita (Manager) or whatever her name is literally slammed on the door multiple times yelling at me at the top of her lungs to get out in front of everyone in the building (there was about 20 people) Claiming I wasn t a customer (I did buy my food) It was so embarrassing. So this manager ends up telling all her coworkers and start laughing and smiling at me (I saw all of them) Manager continues to ask me what I was doing in there so long Ummm I m sorry? No. No one should ever be asked why they were in the bathroom that long if you are a paying customer. If you need to use the restroom Don t use it here. You have a limit apparently. I will never return. People who work here, not good at all. Annita You are a horrible human being for treating me the way you treated me I hope no one has to go through the embarrassment I did

Great Hawaiian karage chicken. Favorite thing on the menu.

Consistently high quality, delicious, and fairly priced meals. My go-tos are the pan glazed salmon platter and any of the baos. The menu item ingredients are customizable for any dietary restrictions or preferences (e.g. no cheese in salad, replace rice with vegetables). Great for both dine-in and takeout.

Great to go food. Everything was delicious!! And its pronounced KaRaGe not like garage.

The food was fantastic (generous portions as well,) and the service was great. The only downside was that it was freezing in the restaurant, and Im usually on the warm side.

The staff are friendly and helpful about dishes if youre indecisive about what to order. The place was clean. Alot of take out orders happening. Vegetarian options: Limited for vegetarian options. Really enjoyed this find! I had a grilled salmon meal that was as good or better than any higher end restaurant for $20. The fish was tasty & perfectly cooked. Service was friendly, and all of this was in a no frills but clean & inviting cafe atmosphere. Will definitely go back!

Really great food

A small local burger place with a quaint atmosphere and good food presentation. Though the wood planks look nice that your burger is served on, they arent practical. Its not clear if customers need to self-bus their tables, but there is a place to bring your dishes and trash when done next to the drink station. I havent ordered anything other than burgers so this review is purely on this which is their mainstay. Ive been here twice and ordered two different burgers. Both times, the burger presentation was fantastic. However, the thick burger is almost flavorless. They do pile on a lot of other condiments that add lots of flavor and help make the burgers here very unique from other burger restaurants. But a burger patty needs to stand on its own and it just doesnt here. Also, another huge aspect of a burger is the bun. Both times the buns look good but are extremely dry and a bit too much bun. Further, while they do offer to cook your burger to your specifications, my medium request (some pink in the middle) came back well (no pink, fully cooked throughout) and my kids medium request came back medium-rare (lots of red in the middle). Lots of potential here and the burgers sound delicious. But theres a lot of improvement they can make.

Food was amazing, I was pretty pleased with the portion and flavors (not enormous, just the right size)... loved their salad, actual salad with various ingredients, not lettuce and some carrots. Meat perfect! The only thing is missing: it needs a little salt component, everything is sweet, except for the rice (doesnt have flavor, which is fine). I ordered Kalbi Yakiniku Plate ($17). I will be returning for sure, thank you for the costumer service, very polite.

I seriously love this place! The staff is super friendly and kind. The burgers are always amazing and I come back all the time to try different items! I started out with the Loco Moco, which is HUGE. Its a full meal on its own. The next time I went I tried the pork belly burger and OMG! Amazing! Their salads are also to die for. Seating is ample and comfortable. Prices are very good for how much food you get! Definitely stop by this place!

I love the Hawaiian fried chicken with the accompanying chop chop salad and rice. Its my favorite thing to order. Usually, I place my order to go, but the restaurant is family friendly. The portions are generous, and typically I have enough left over for a second meal.

Got the Kalua Pork Bao and the Mini Bagel Burger, the pork was okay a little soggy and the bun didn t hold together but the bagel burger was very Delicious loved the flavor especially with it being toasted! Will be back to try more!

I actually booked the Box Eatery to cater my 40th birthday party, and it was perfect! Everyone loved the food options, it got rave reviews, and it was mostly gone by the end of the night. Reis was very easy to work with and gave me the right advice to make sure I ordered enough food for my party of 25+ people. The most popular items were the bao buns, kimchi fried rice, the chop salad (especially the dressing!), and the yakiniku skewers. Definitely would recommend if you re catering a party sometime soon! Unfortunately I don t have any pictures because I was having too good of a time hosting

Unique burgers and food here at the box & burgers Eatery. The flavors were great. The fries were underwhelming but the yuzu sauce was so good. The burgers were not too hot which threw me off but I d come back and give them another try.

Was in the area and looking for a local place for dinner. This place had decent reviews. They have interesting gourmet burger choices. Presentation is excellent. They were doing a brisk take out business. Couple of nit picks with the place. The parking lot is tight. Have a mid sized SUV and the compact spots and full parking lot had us circling for a spot. Then there is the burger patty it was much firmer than most. I cut my burger in half and it was more difficult than most to do and it was equally chewy. My son even commented the burger patty had a different texture and was firm. He also commented that the place looked like it was decorated from Target. It was okay but since Im not local probably not going to make this a return location. Its not bad but nothing particularly special.

The Box crew and their food are incredible. Not only is their food delicious, the staff is extremely polite, accommodating, professional, and well organized. We ve loved their food from their Kirkland location and even had them cater our wedding. The Box is a serious choice for great food that leaves you wanting to try as much of the menu as possible. They are a hidden gem in the Kirkland area and are an amazing option for any catering needed for large and small events. We can t express how awesome this business is!

I prefer smash patties, but there is something about the way they cook their thick patties that is absolutely divine. This Asian fusion joint does burgers better than most American burger joints. I highly recommend the All American Melt. Vegetarian options: They have their own in house veggie patty Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating to my dairy allergy (their buns are dairy free).

4.5 stars! I wanted to try the food here because my husband has been raving about the baos, so I tried the kalua pork bao which had an Asian, Hawaiian, and Mexican fusion. I loved the Asian glass noodle salad with shrimp; very tasty, light, and refreshing. The chicken karaage was a bit too sweet and dry. I was not expecting it to be smothered in sweet sauce so it lost a lot of that crispiness (if you like yours crispy, maybe order the sauce on the side as a dip). They used chicken breast for the karaage and the meat was not sliced properly against the grain so biting/chewing the long pieces of meat was not easy. Other than that, the food was mostly enjoyable. If I m ever around the area, I ll probably try the pork bao and the Hawaiian style fried chicken.

This place is a hidden gem. Unassuming location hidden behind a gas station, but the food is anything but. Burgers were both gigantic in portions and flavor. Saw several people digging into the more classic Asian inspired dishes as well.

Located in Strip Mall above Fred Meyer Fuel station in Totem Lake. A small eatery with about 12 -15 tables. Hawaiian Fusion Burgers, a plain Jane Cheesburger, miso salmon, or an order of Katsu Chicken. All are served in appetite satisfying portions. Burgers look hand formed and pressed. Order well done and its should fine. Burgers above the Plain will have a Hawaiian Flare and Attitude. Chop chop salad slightly overdressed though tasty with fine ham bits, cheese, tomatoes and bits of apple. Side salad comes as a side with entrees like Katsu Chicken, Miso salmon. Aloha!

Had hamburger with lettuce and tomato on toasted bun. A+ very thick hamburger,(1/4lb?), cheese, fresh crisp lettuce, thinly sliced tomatoes. Bakery made bun thick and never got soggy! French fries freshly made and very crispy with yummy dipping sauce,sort of sweet, and diet coke, self refills. $18.00. Best money spent for hamburger. Very large burger, mound of fries. I will certainly go back and take my family. Many other food choices as well. Customer service Excellent. Clean. Friendly Staff.

I love The Box... and am so happy that my favorite food truck has a real sit-down restaurant! I always order the chicken karaage with a salad and a mini bagel burger. Im ashamed to admit that despite having had their food dozens of times, I still havent tried even half their menu because I love my regular order so much. Vegetarian options: Everything they have is centered around meat -- even the salad -- so I wouldnt recommend this place for vegetarians. Parking: Parking can be difficult as the spaces are small and the lot is busy, but there are two dedicated spots right outside the front door. Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu, including a cheeseburger and different types of chicken. Available sides include fries, rice, and a seasonal vegetable.

Large portions, pretty good food

I had high expectations and was still pleasantly surprised. It s a little bit on the pricier side but 100% worth every penny. The chicken is crispy even when coated in sauce, the salad is delicious with apples, cheese, ham, onion, etc, not just lettuce and dressing. I really appreciate the use of compostable to-go ware (although I don t know what they use for forks/knives, I got chopsticks). The choice to buy eco-friendly boxes and utensils definitely makes me want to choose this restaurant over others. I didn t dine in but the restaurant seemed very clean and put together and the staff was friendly. I will definitely come back!

I had the Miso Hungry burger w/ fries and it was AMAZING! Pickled japanese cucumbers were house made, crispy fries w/ yuzu aioli was so good, burger was cooked perfect, and the pork belly was delicious. Staff was very friendly and was excited to chat about the food! This is my first time here and I will definitely be coming back until I ve tried the menu! Added bonus soundtrack on point.

I really enjoyed French Blues burger s juicy meat patty and savory sake and red wine vinegar pickled onions. We will go back again soon. Highly recommend burger place in town!! ;)

OMG everything was so good! Traditional karage is really juicy and soft while the skin remains crispy. Hawaiian karage has a sweet and sour sauce. Galbi was surprisingly good - very juicy and thick meat. Definitely have the chopped salad - also very delicious and refreshing. Will be very happy to visit again!

These people know how to make karaage chicken! It s juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside and just amazing! I stumbled onto this place from the Bellevue Farmers market. They had a food truck there and the line was insane! Being curious, I just had to try it. It was around $15 for the chicken plate which comes with salad and rice. But they ran out of rice so I got fries which is what I would ve preferred anyway! One bonus is the portion sizes are huge! I easily this into two meals and steamed my own rice to make it stretch. I would def come back for the chicken!

Everything at the Box is delicious! The chicken kaarage reminds me of the Korean chicken from Hawaii. The chopped salad is the best on the eastside. All of the burgers are flavorful and juicy. We love the Box! Parking: Plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid and adulty friendly food.

Ordered my take out 1 hour ago. Got message saying that I could pick up half a hour later. But when I got there, they didn t even start preparing my order. But the burgers are really GOOD!!!

People and atmosphere were great, the burger wasnt as good as I hoped it would be, but it was a Plain Jane so I want to try one of the specialty burgers next time. The fries were cooked perfectly and the yuzu aioli was delish! Will definitely order ahead next time if I want it to go, since everything is fresh made and it takes a little time for orders.

Great food awaits inside this gem tucked away in a strip mall. The team that works here is top notch. I cant wait to eat there again

Very unique special different personalized customized Asian cuisine burgers. I had the Hilo loco Moco burger. My wife had the bahn mi burger. My son had the ham humbao burger all with fresh cut fries. They all were. Cooked perfect. Lots of unique Asian tastes on a burger. OMG

My birthday meal is not complete without the Hawaiian Chicken Plate and Pork Belly Bao. Theyre that delish, most especially the Chop Chop Salad!

Excellent food, excellent staff. Restaurant was really cold though. I got the hawaiian loco moco which was perfect, the mini bagel burger wasnt that good and overpriced, avoid.

Restaurant was clean and people were very nice. It was just a nice quiet meal. Had the Karage Chicken Plate. Chicken was well cooked and had fantastic flavor. It comes with a chop salad which is another win. Ordered the pork belly bao and it was also outstanding. Well worth the stop. If it were closer to home I would probably be here every day.
