We visited Artha on Sunday evening. For such a big place it was quite empty and possibly because it was Sunday. Their menu is elaborate with lots of options and some Bengali dishes too. Many vegetarian options included. We ordered dahi puri, jackfruit kofta, garlic naan. These were pretty good and very well presented. For dessert we ordered malpua which was the most average of everything that we ate. I am holding off on 1 star for that reason. Staff were friendly and warm. Ambience was good.
One of the indian restaurants with some of the better tasting food. Now, I am finicky about authenticity and not willing to discount much. Given this, I still would say most of the food was very good. The paani puri was great, they do mix the greena and red to make the shot, which I personally like separately, but that's okay. The bengali fish fry, was better tasting than expectations, one of the reasons I wasn't hoping much is because the fish used for it, and the way that fish is cut is hard to find here. However, the marinade was great and made up for it, but there was a kasundi with it, tartar sauce or mayo simply doesn't cut it. The kodai shutir kochuri was very very good, the ratio of stuffing to covering was great and so was the size of each kochuri. The alur dom was good, nothing like a bengali alur dom, but nevertheless, it tastes great. The jeera rice had the right spices in it and the saag goshth was good, the sauce very nice, unfortunately the meat was chewy, needed more cook time. The pahar gunj k chhole bature was a disaster. The chhole was not at all how it is made. This is a common problem across all indian restaurants here though, the chile chawal ka chhole is not the chhole bature ka chhole, any delhi person can tell you that. Overall, still a good place to visit and I will be going back to try some of the kababs for sure.
We ordered 1) Chicken Biryani 2) Jackfruit cutlet 3) Chicken Lollypop today. The chicken lolly pop was smelling, tasted like it has been kept from long time. Same with chicken biryani piecies. Jackfruit cutlet looked fresh but very much disappointed by chicken lollipops. They looked very yellowish and bad smell coming out of it. I had good perception of this resturant and very much disappointed/concern by the food quality now.
The ambience is pretty nice, the menu has several options and the service is fine. We ordered several dishes and overall, we would have liked them to have more flavor. Especially paneer dishes are bland, soya chap is a bit rubbery. Overall, I like the ambience and the experience of dine-in but a bit more flavor in the dishes would have enhanced the experience.
This restaurant is a perfect example of how food is served in India. The food was amazing, the vibe was amazing, in fact it will take you back to India. I tried a lot of different things here but my favorite was jackfruit cutlet. The food is delicious and drinks are amazing, do try the Kala khatta mojito.
Arth had been on my checklist for quite some time, and I finally visited for dinner. We started with the tandoori chaap, which was delicious and incredibly soft, served on a sizzler plate. While it tasted good, it lacked the smoky flavor I was expecting, and I felt the chaap could have spent a bit more time in the tandoor. Next, we ordered chhole bhature, garlic naan, and champaran meat. The chhole bhature were honestly just okay—I’ve had better at Dosa House in Bellevue. The chhole lacked the characteristic dark color you’d find in Paharganj. On the other hand, the meat was well-cooked, and the garlic naan was crispy and exactly what I had hoped for. We also tried the mango shake and buttermilk, but both were just average. Overall, while the food at Arth ranged from average to awesome, the presentation of the restaurant itself was super cool.
Note: We had called on Friday evening and made a reservation for Sunday afternoon. This was for a party of 10. When we went to the restaurant they informed that there was no such reservation made. We showed them the call logs. They did not even say a sorry. After a little wait and discussion we were seated. I dont know how their reservation system works. The person who was on call with us did not even know the basics of what happens in the restaurant. For booking /reservation i give them a 2/5. It was for a birthday party and we were disappointed with their attitude. Coming to the food part. We ordered -Masala Mojito(5/5) -Pina colada(3/5)-did not feel refreshing not much of pineapple flavor. the coconut syrup smell was not good. -Oreo shake(5/5) -Corn chops(5/5)-refreshing -Jackfruit Cutlet(5/5) -Pani puri shots(5/5)-puri crisp and delicious -Dahi puri (5/5)-crisp and tasty -Paneer tikka masala(5/5) -Roti(5/5) -Garlic Naan (5/5) -Vegetable Biryani(4/5) -Paan Icecream(5/5)-extremely tasty and not too sweet. The food taste was amazing. I recommend this place for great food and quick service. Hospitality could be better. Overall the experience was great.
We have visited this restaurant twice and enjoyed some standout dishes. The Jackfruit kofta and chola bhatura were delicious. However, the chicken lollipop, champaran mutton, and corn pop were just average. Overall, a mixed experience with some highlights.
Great service and excellent quality food. The taste of the dishes are authentic. Loved the Jackfruit tikki appetizer, Paneer tikka, veg paneer kadhai and many other dishes. I have been there 3 times in the last 7 months and still can t wait to go back again. Great choices of drinks Definitely a must try for Indian food lovers
We had an amazing and flavorful experience in Artha. We went as a team with 15 people and the service was great. Even with so many orders everything was on time. They just added malai soya chaap and it is must try! Their paan ice cream and mango cream dessert shouldn t be missed!
I recently tried their pani puri and was absolutely blown away! The puris were perfectly crisp and fresh, providing the ideal crunch, while the paani and filling were bursting with flavor just the right balance of spices and tanginess. Its honestly one of the best Ive ever had, and I would happily enjoy it any time, no matter how many times. Highly recommend this dish to anyone who loves a good pani puri!
Awesome food and very good service . Highly recommended
Love the food and super happy servers.
I recently had Aloo tikki chat & golpappe at a party where Catering was done by Arth. Both items were really yummy ,specially aloo tikki ,it was served hot
The food in the restaurant was pretty good and ambience was good too. However one particular issue made the experience extremely bitter thus sharing it. We were a large group (>6) and had ordered full course large meal of drinks, appetizer, entrees, dessert etc. When I asked for the bill they gave me the electronic option to pay and there was a tip option showing on the screen. I asked the server whether tip has already been added (as it is a large group), he specifically denied that no tip has been added and if I wish I can add the tip. So I went ahead and added a tip. However after checking the bill later, I observed that they have already added a 20% tip (which is perfectly alright as that is practice for large groups) and the server s lie was an unauthentic and unscrupulous one. It is disappointing that for a large amount they have to extort further by lying to the customer, I will prefer to rather visit places that are authentic to their customers.
Thank you for the excellent experience food was executed professionally and ontime and very delicious. Will be there again
It was a wonderful experience earing at this place. We loved all the things on the menu. But, jackfruit kofta, and cutlets were my favorite. The service was great. Kids loved the corn pops. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options that are uniquely presented.
Excellent options for appetizers and main courses with a lot of variety. Very authentic taste too! Will come back again for sure.
We came for appetizers and the food was delicious. Pani Puri shots was, for me, a novel presentation and a crunchy, spicy, tasty bite. The Kadhai chicken was tender and moist with a creamy sauce, not too spicy, exactly as I requested. Service was top-notch. Our waiter handled everything in a thoughtful, friendly, and professional manner.
I recently had the pleasure of using Arth The Indian bistro for an event. From start to finish, they exceeded all expectations and made our event a resounding success. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavor, and presented beautifully. Our guests couldn t stop complimenting the quality and variety of the menu. In addition to the exceptional food, the professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated by the Arth team were truly impressive. They were prompt, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the catering was flawless. From setting up the buffet to replenishing dishes throughout the event, they handled everything with efficiency and grace. Overall, I highly recommend Arth Indian bistro. If you re looking for a food catering service that delivers exceptional quality, professionalism, and attention to detail, look no further. They truly are the epitome of excellence in the catering industry. Thank you, Arth for making our event unforgettable!
Always enjoy visiting Artha! The cozy ambiance sets the perfect tone for a great meal, and the dishes are consistently rich in flavor with noticeable attention to preparation. The service is friendly and attentive, making it a place worth returning to. Vegetarian options: Good variety of eclectic veg dishes
Nice place to dine. Good Indian food, impeccable service and good collection of cine music, which are played even as per choice. Over and above, pocket friendly tariff.
Excellent food and service.Loved the tandoori chicken sizzler, chicken tikka ,papdi chaat and mutton biryani. Not just the taste but the presentation was great too , along with a smiling happy crew.Great variety of cocktails and drinks too.
Weve done plenty of takeouts from Arth, and have recently been using them to cater for multiple events of 50 plus people. The chicken biryan is probably one of the best here, and so are they kebabs. Highly recommend this restaurant
I got a Togo order for a chicken biryani and a chicken lollypop. The lollypop didn t have any flavor except the masala coat, the dip was substandard. The biryani was useless. It just had one piece of chicken even though I asked him how many pieces and he said two, next time if anyone order Togo make sure you open the box and check right there. One of the worst food I have ever experienced. Have some shame guys
We recently had catering for a party, and the food was absolutely amazing! Our guests couldn t stop raving about the pav bhaji and pani puri it tasted so authentic, just like the chaat you get in India. The desserts were equally fantastic, with the mango mousse being an absolute standout. It was light, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. If you re looking for delicious, authentic Indian food that ll impress your guests, I highly recommend them!
It s great to have delicious Indian food in downtown Kirkland. Creative dishes, great tastes. prompt delivery. the Naan break is excellent. Butter chicken, and lentil dishes are fantastic.
Terrible customer service. They deny entry at door itself saying all table booked even if you see half of tables unoccupied. No transparency.
Artha was a beyond amazing place to visit. The hospitality was great and the food was amazingly good! I ll definitely be coming back again!
I recently had the pleasure of trying the butter chicken at Arth, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The chicken was incredibly tender, soaking up the rich, creamy sauce that was perfectly spiced. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor, complemented by the fresh garlic naan that was ideal for scooping up every last drop. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the experience, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine
Extremely delicious food. Great music.
Oily food. :(
Placed an on an order online at 5:00pm. Confirmation said order will be ready at 5:35pm. Showed up form pickup at 5:35pm. Doors locked. I called the restaurant and the person stated the restaurant doesn t open until 6:30pm. Because the order was placed through DoorDash Restaurant from the Artha website, owner would not refund my CC payment. He told me to get my refund from Door Dash! The Google Maps clearly states the restaurant is open! Stay AWAY from this restaurant!!!
Good food and service . Had a great experience. Their jackfruit cutlet was amazing so was kachori with prawn curry . Fun twist on cocktails. Overall a great Indian restaurant. Looking forward to few more trips to try out other items in the menu.
Best Bengali food I have had in the US.
Had a great time and great food. Must try. Recommendations: Jackfruit cutlet, fish fry, biriyani, champaran meat, paan ice cream. Food
Extremely good food and service. Best biriyani in the Seattle area. The Bengali-style fish fry is a must-have. Highly recommend.
Nice Ambience. Good choice of beverages. Food was overall good. Dahi Puri and chilli chicken were delicious. Kadhai chicken was ok, a tad bit thicker gravy than expected. Naan was good too. Service was prompt and polite
We visited the restaurant for a family dinner with senior parents, siblings, and a young infant in a stroller. Upon arrival, we were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant, and we requested to be moved to a corner table for the stroller to be parked securely and to avoid obstructing the servers. Unfortunately, our request was declined because those tables were being held in case a larger party arrived, even though the restaurant was not crowded when we arrived at 6:30 PM. Ultimately, those tables were given to a smaller group after the larger party failed to show up. It was disappointing that the staff didn t prioritize families with seniors and young children, especially when there was ample opportunity to accommodate us. While the food was good, we felt that the guest relations and courtesy fell short of expectations. Kid-friendliness: Resturant is kid friendly, but they were not able to accommodate our infant in a stroller in a safe corner. They put us in the middle right next to another table, where there was a risk of servers dropping things, inspite of being pretty empty.
Visited Arth recently and totally loved it. The vibe of the place and the food was delicious to say the least. We ordered drinks that were presented in an interesting manner, something I haven t really seen anywhere. Other than that, we ordered dahi puri and jackfruit cutlets, both of which were really tasty with a perfect Indian taste. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty meal!
Artha - The Indian Bistro offers an exceptional dining experience with a delightful menu and attentive service. We tried the Jackfruit Cutlet and Dahi Puri, both of which were flavorful and beautifully presented. The cocktails, especially the refreshing Masala Mojito, complemented our meal perfectly. The ambiance was inviting, making it a great spot for both casual outings and special occasions. Overall, everything from the food to the service was impressive, making Artha a must-visit for Indian cuisine lovers in Kirkland...
This was our second visit. This time we opted for veg options. We ordered jackfruit kofta, veg biryani, paneer tikka, gulab jamun with shrikhand
The jackfruit cutlets was good, worth getting. I also got naan and paneer tikka masala. Though the flavor for the tikka masala was good, it was quite oily.
Best Indian restaurant in the town period. Amazing food and amazing staff. Must try Soya chaap and JackFruit curry.
Excellent food, excellent service, good portion, must visit place. Approachable location, parking available. Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian food options available
Food was average, atmosphere was ok and service was poor. Had to wait a long time and ask for everything they also request for service charge (not advertised) which I haven t seen for many places around. Plus every good review get something.
Horrible
Veg Biryani did not taste good. Paneer pieces are very hard and rice seems like regular rice.
Recommend the Tandoori dishes here!
Fantastic restaurant offering a wide range of authentic Indian cuisine. The flexible seating arrangements easily accommodated my business dinner for 20 people
We ordered Kadai mutton, Tandoori prawn, Malai chicken and Jackfruit cutlet and NOT even a single dish was tasty!! They need to learn how to cook very disappointing
Went with lot of expectations from social media hype but it fell short on all aspects. Everything was just average at best. You can go if you are in the area but not worth planning a visit especially to this place for its food.
Last night at Artha The Indian Bistro was an absolute blast! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy. The decor is chic yet comfortable, which set the perfect vibe for a fun evening out with friends. The menu is packed with options, and we decided to order a variety of dishes to share. We kept ordering more because it was that good. But what really made the night special was the service. Our server was not only super friendly but also had a great sense of humor. He recommended dishes with such enthusiasm that we couldn t resist trying them all, and he kept us laughing the entire time. It felt less like a typical restaurant experience and more like a night out with good friends.
Overall stars: 0 Food: Oily Service: Not professional, the male server seemed rude and demeaning. Pushed us to take the table closer to used plates and toilet despite requesting a change, though he budged in after I came off strong. Kept on taking orders for next 20 mins but warned us even to begin with that, it would be the first and last chance, so order everything. The female server was still respectful and asked us if we needed any before kitchen closes. Cost: Expensive Worst experience from both food and service. Also, even if the ambience is good, the cost and other factors are convincing enough to never visit here again and share this experience with friends so they avoid it too.
Stopped in to get some palak paneer and butter chicken with naan. Every bite of every dish was spot on, but the star of the meal undoubtedly was the super smoky Palak Paneer: mind blowing! The Butter Chicken was just perfect: the ideal mix of spicy, tangy and sweet! Definitely coming back for more of this! Things to do better: the garlic naan was a tad small for the price, and the lachcha paratha was a too oily. Hopefully these are easily addressed before I go back in for another meal. Overall, good job, Arth!
Arth offers a delicious and authentic Indian dining experience. The vegetarian dishes are particularly noteworthy, but everything I tried - from the appetizers to the vegetarian entrees was flavorful and well-prepared. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service is attentive. I would highly recommend Arth to anyone looking for a great Indian meal.
The food was amazing, so many unique fusion dishes on offer. The place is clean and not one of those dirty unhygienic Indian places you seem to find around Redmond area. The staff is friendly and always listens to feedback.
Food tastes like North Indian food.
A decent Indian restaurant. All main course items we ordered were good with Kathal (Jackfruit) kofta being extremely good. The paneer tikka in starter was very bad with the paneer very tough and chewy although the paneer in paneer butter masala was soft. The management does not allow cake cutting , so better plan celebratory meals at other restaurants.
Came here first time. Interesting place. Good food. Thoguh pahargang ki chole batura not good.
Great food - the starters and main course were delicious and ample- the presentations were pleasing and service prompt and courteous- we ordered Malpua for dessert as it was birthday celebration and were really disappointed as it was over sweet though it looked tempting in the ceramic dish- we were not able to relish this kind of rare speciality but were too full to order something else- must say, when I asked for a savoury small puri to break the over sweet taste in my mouth, the waiter was quick and got it for me- overall, we had a great satisfying lunch Vegetarian options: The chaats and breads - the bhatura was light and non oily- the jackfruit options are good
Good Food amazing service nice Indian restaurant in Seattle
Poor quality food , we were served rotten Paneer and management has no courtesy to even apologise for the rotten food
Meh tasting over priced food with below average service
I agree with service below par. So many times server came to ask for another order or clearing out plates that it appeared bothersome. We had to break our conversation many times. Appetizers were good but main course dishes tasted pretty average with heavy on tomato gravy.
Same spot as where guilt trip was before. The flavors are Indian but some of them have a twist, and a good twist! Tikki chaat - 4/5 Hariyali Tikka - 5/5 Pome mojito - 5/5 Laacha paratha - 5/5 (lot of butter; make sure you say less if you like it that way. We loved it!) Champaran Meat entree - 5/5. Lamb lovers dish; it doesnt have a lot of gravy though but no complaints! The bone-in meat was perfectly cooked. Service was outstanding. We were here at 12.30 on a Saturday. The dishes came out fast as well.
I ordered appetizers ( chicken makhani, tofu ) and an old fashioned drink ( with a BIG ice cube) and got sore throat the next day..
No idea of service. Will not honor reservations made over phone, you will made to wait as long as walk-ins. Dirty, wobbly tables, understaffed. They gave us a table and immediately told us kitchen closes in 5 mins. What were you going to order - microwaved frozen samosas?
Delicious food! We had a great experience dining here for the first time. We tried their Chicken Lollypop, Chicken Tikka masala, and chicken biryani. Everything was tasty and bursting with flavors. In my opinion, their Chicken Tikka Masala and Biryani are among the best in town. Cant wait to try the rest of the menu!
Love thier menu and food. Loved thier kuluki sarbath and dall aracini
I had a deeply disappointing experience at Arth Indian Bistro in Kirkland. The restaurant was definitely not worth the hype. The food was mediocre, and the service was very delayed, with almost a 30-minute wait time between courses. Despite not being a fancy place, it was quite crowded for the small area. While the Kadai Paneer and Jackfruit Kofta were average, the non-vegetarians in our party mentioned that the Kadai Chicken was mediocre at best. The Soya Chaap starter, which was recommended by the restaurant, was the worst dish of the lot. The mint chutney accompanying the starters was terrible, looking and tasting like colored green mayonnaise. To top it off, the staff / owner exhibited an entitled and dismissive attitude throughout our visit. Instead of addressing concerns with courtesy, they seemed absurdly long wait was justified to serve mediocre food. Overall, I wouldn t go back here again. Save your time and money; there are far better Indian restaurants in the area that offer genuine hospitality and flavorful dishe
These are the ones we tried and all were good Pani Puri Shots Jack Fruit Cutlet Chili Paneer Tandoori Pomfret Fish Tikka-riffic Paneer Lassi (very thick though, expected a little watery) We didnt go for any entrees and were happy with the appetizers we ordered. The pomfret was a little small for a $20 plate. Service was good and like the ambience. Went around the opening time and didnt have any issues with getting a table on a friday.
The overall vibe of the place is pleasant, and everything we ordered came out nice in taste.
The food was below average (sour aftertaste in all dishes). The worst part was they tried to cheat on the bill by slipping in items we never ordered and refusing to honor the prime discount.
Ankit went beyond his capacity to accommodate a surprise bday dessert request kudos to Ankit
Lovely little place. Good was delicious.
We stumbled upon this place on weekend dinner and expectations were little. Place was moderately packed and we were seated quickly. We requested kiddo s food to be out quickly and they really did. Extra star for that. Food wise chole bhature were good and so was kulcha. Panipuri was a letdown. It looked beautiful but pani was okay. Service was good and prompt. We will definitely come back.
Chicken tiki masala is a pool of oil (I ve had many tikis and this doesn t look or taste right) and the samosa is rly salty. I never write reviews but this was sadly just disappointing and not worth the money.
Delicious food, I m addicted to this place!
Arth isnt just a restaurant; its a culinary sanctuary where flavors come alive, service is impeccable, and every moment is cherished. Celebrating our 11th anniversary there, with 20+ friends & family members, was an unforgettable experience. From the first taste to the last, each dish was a masterpiece blending tradition with innovation. The presentation was as exquisite as the taste, making every plate a work of art. The ambiance at Arth was equally enchanting. Soft lights, murmurs of conversation, and tasteful decor created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensured our celebration was seamless, guiding us through the menu with expertise. Hands down the best Indian restaurant in the area, our evening at Arth was nothing short of magical, a perfect blend of culinary delight, impeccable service, and cozy ambiance.
One of the best restaurant in Seattle area
I went here for dinner with my husband on a Friday evening. There was no line were able to be seated immediately. We were shown to a high table with bar stool seats. I don t like sitting in these types of chairs as I can t relax and enjoy myself. So I asked the hostess if we could sit at one of the lower tables. She told us no, those are for guests with more people in their party. I was disappointed and don t understand why they could let have pulled the bigger tables apart to make 2 smaller tables (some of these bigger tables were composed of smaller tables). Fine, the server came and pointed to the QR code on the table for the menu. I really, really dislike this trend of digital menus. It s cheap and lazy on the part of the business. When we scan the menu, the menu is a little confusing because the restaurant is trying to be a little trendy and do modern Western spins on Indian restaurant cuisine. It would have been nice if there were pictures. Further, we were confused about whether or not we should order online too, since the menu the QR code directed us to had an order online button. When the waiter came back, we placed our order. We got our appetizer very quickly. It was an order of samosas. They were huge and steaming hot. Unfortunately, we didn t have a knife to cut them up. We had to use a fork and spoon to tear them into bite sized pieces or bite into them and burn our mouths from the steam. The flavor was ok, nothing special though. I feel like I have had better samosas from the freezer section of the Indian grocery store. Our appetizers were accompanied by the drinks we ordered, a cocktail and a beer. My cocktail was delicious and very, very strong, in spite of being overly sweet. I ordered a small bites dish for my entree and it came out before my husband s entree. Usually servers will either ask when I want my dish brought out, if I am not ordering a standard entree. My got the Chicken 65. I ve never had this dish before, so I have nothing to compare it to. However, it was delicious and surprisingly not as spicy hot as the samosa. My husband got some kind of chicken shish kebab. He seemed to like it, but I thought the mint flavor was overpowering. The samosas and kebabs were served on literal pieces of slate. And the chicken 65 was served in what appeared to be a candy bowl. The ambiance nice enough, the decor was modern and seemed to be trying a little too hard. The server, while adequate, was a little cold and disinterested. All in all, it was an ok experience, nothing to write home about. I would recommend that the restaurant focus on the basics: good food and good service.
Please don t get fooled by the presentation. We went for lunch and there was no one at the peak hour. Food did not feel fresh. Not going back.
Good food at absurd prices. Everything tastes good and very creative vegetarian dishes but the prices were insane.
Food quality- 5/5 Service speed - 5/5 We had party of 20+, where orders were flowing and so was the speed of delivery, without compromising on quality. Champaran meat was winner among all other delicious items, Jackfruit cutlet, Jackfruit kofta, Chili Chicken for spicy lovers, Chicken 65 with less spice, Vegetarian biriyani is yummy. Didn t like Pani poori shot as it was without the coriander water.
Ar this moment best Indian food available in the vicinity.
Very slow staff. But the Asian girl working there is cute Food
The best of the best Indian food , very unique flavor.. The best Master Chef Sujay !!! Highly recommended!!!! Parking: Easy access
The ambience and food is good. I must say the presentation of each dish was perfect! We ordered jackfruit cutlet and Corn Pops for appetizers they were crunchy and perfect. We ordered Masala mojito, I didn t like it. For main course we ordered Turbo Naan and Paneer Tikka Masala curry and added steam rice for $1. Curry was tasty but too oily, you can see in the pictures. Vegetarian options: Vegetarians have lot of options to choose from each section
We had a delightful lunch at Arth. The appetizers were so delicious that we couldnt resist trying them all, leaving no room for entrees, especially with the tempting milkshake. I indulged in the jackfruit cutlet and Corn Pops from the vegetarian menu and absolutely loved them. Even the kids couldnt get enough! Udai and A savored the lamb chops, chicken lollipops, and tandoori prawns. They couldnt stop raving about the lamb chops. Its rare to find a restaurant that excels in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, catering to both my vegetarian preferences and my husbands love for meat. Cant wait to return and explore more of their menu. With decent vegetarian options, its a win-win for me!
Average indian food served at obscene prices with a terrible customer service. Chola Bhatura was such a disappointment. I can cook a better Chola Bhatura than the chef at this kitchen. I have no idea why someone would describe Soya chaap as heavenly here, unless they were trying to mock the restaurant.
We loved the food served and ambience of the restaurant. Overall, the food served was delicious and nicely flavored. We loved the taste and arome of Paneer Tikka and Karahi Paneer. Jackfruit cutlet is a must try item in the menu. Pani puri shots have unique presentation style and mouth watering taste. Masala mohito was fresh and refreshing. Staff were friendly. Love to dine in again!
This place has best kadhai paneer near seattle. I ve also tried jackfruit kofta here and it was a little sweet in gravy but delicious. Would definitely recommend this place!
I recently dined at ARTH Restaurant and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite the enticing menu, the wait for our food stretched to a frustrating 40 minutes. When the dishes finally arrived, the chicken korma was disappointingly cloying, with an overwhelming sweetness Equally disappointing was the soy chap, which lacked any discernible taste or seasoning. Overall, the prolonged wait and lackluster flavors made for a subpar dining experience that fell short of expectations.
Used to be the place called Dakshin before pandemic. But now it s much more upscale and fine dining experience. Parking
Fine dinning experience, good serving , awesome taste
Great Ambience, top class food and service, will definately come again Highly recommended Food
We totally loved this place. From food to ambience to service everything was on point. After a long time we satisfied our Indian tastebuds jackfruit cutlets were beyond delicious.. paneer karahi with the smokey flavor is definitely a must try.. biryani was one of the most authentic and flavorful we had in a while. Cornpops were amazing. Malpua was delicious too.
Excellent eastern style biryani!
This place was good
Good food. Little pricey but it is worth a visit
Best service with Ankit food was delicious and also halal
It was the very first experience for me. The food is great and Ankit, server, is really friendly Tandori chicken is so delicious!! Jackfruit is unbelievable . so nice!! I love this wonderful restaurant.
Best service with wonderful food. Ankit is the best server. It was my first time trying Indian food and it was so good. Thank you so much for this great experience.
The foods, the vibes is really good and the staff is super friendly, especially Ankit, also, It s halal meats. we try appetizers to dessert, I LOVE IT!!
Best Indian food in Kirkland Downtown. Kadai Chicken is a must. Meats are halal too. Thank you Ankit for making our experience unforgettable!
I have been to the restaurant multiple times.I really like their cocktails They have some amazing out of the box dishes, listing my personal fav The Pani Puri Shots must try! Yummy corn pops! Jackfruit Cutlet was delicious! (I personally dont like jackfruit when the servers insisted us on trying it at least once I ordered a jackfruit cutlet, and it was delicious.) I couldnt go to the restaurant and try their Lohri special menu, and the Valentines special menu, so I ordered Sarso ka Saag and Makai ki Roti and this time ordered the Jumbo Shrimp cutlet. The best saag I have had in years! And the shrimp cutlet was the best!!!! Kudos to the Chef and team Arth! Definitely visiting again and again and again....
We had a great experience at Arth. Ankit was our server. He was very nice. We liked the food and the ambiance. The dahi purifect was amazing.
Had jackfruit cutlet crunchy n tasty. Ordered Paneer Tikka unique and mouth watering taste.
Ankit one of the best service providers at Arth.
Food was amazing and the best part was Good service provided by Ankit
I had dinner here tonight food was fabulous and service was great thank you Ankit For Making our evening great
We were so happy to get the service from Ankit . He is super friendly and so courteous.
Had a great time here! The kebab in particular was absolutely delicious, would recommend!
So-so food. Terrible service. Very average food. I ve eaten many times in Delhi and this is supposed to bring some of those authentic Delhi-type flavors, but failed. A few examples: * Poori Aloo: Aloo curry was bland. And the potatoes were cut too large and undercooked, so when you chew into the potatoes it makes the entire morsel in your mouth bland (too much potato starch + not enough spice in the curry to compensate). Solution: Cut the potatoes smaller and cook them a tad bit longer, so that they have rounded corners in the curry, not sharp corners! * Chicken 65: Felt like it was put together in haste. Presentation was poor. Taste was not bad but the messy appearance spoiled the experience. * SERVICE: Pretty bad. We went for dinner on a Saturday night around 7:30pm. Understandably busy place, but the waiters paid zero attention to us. They were just flitting around taking orders from tables. And when they brought in the dishes, they would just dump it on the table and go away. We tried to stop them a few times because we wanted some onions & pickles but they wouldn t bother to listen. POOR service!! We didn t bother to wait for dessert.
Food was awesome. Service was the worst. We had waited about 50 mins just to get an appetizer, even then when order came there was no appetizer but the main course. When asked about it, the reason given was main course was ready first so it was getting served first.
Poor service and extremely long wait times
Went there last friday night and loved all the dishes we ordered. Everything was delicious in taste and definitely worth the visit. Will definitely be going again. Great service as well. Didn t click photos except couple in the beginning as everything tasted so well, that we finished it quickly.
Great service average food
Great food and really good service
Arth - the Indian Bistro in Kirkland, Washington, left us thoroughly impressed with its delectable offerings. The chicken lollipop and lamb chops were a delightful start, boasting rich flavors and succulent textures. The daal makhani and Champaran meat was a comforting embrace of traditional taste, paired perfectly with the soft and flavorful naan and rice. They showcased exceptional service and a captivating ambiance. The attentive staff at Arth made our dining experience memorable, ensuring that our orders were promptly served with a friendly touch.
Amazing food. Tikka masala was great and there are so many options to choose from.
Food was awesome and service was excellent. Server did a great job recommending dishes and we had a wonderfully memorable meal. Highly recommend.
I recently visited the restaurant for dinner on a Sunday without a prior reservation but got a table immediately. We ordered pani puri shots, tikka paneer, jackfruit cutlet, garlic naan, shahi paneer, jackfruit kofta, and gulab jamun with shrikhand. The service was good; the waiter recommended dishes, checked on us regularly, and brought the additional yogurt side promptly. The plating was impressive, and all the dishes, except for the shrikhand, tasted delicious. The food arrived quickly. Although we had a few concerns, I didnt want to reduce the rating because the food was excellent. However, the table for four felt small and congested with two appetizers and the main course. Next time, Ill order the main course after finishing the appetizers. Additionally, theres a $1 charge for rice, and while its inexpensive considering the overall cost, I suggest including rice with the gravy without an extra charge
Had a lovely evening with my amazing girls gang. Pani Puri, Soya chaap and Dal makhani was the best. Icing on the cake was getting to meet my friend Nidhi Kumar. You have done such an amazing job with the whole setup. Congratulations!
Nice place with good food and good ambiance.
Just when you thought Seattle s desi food scene couldn t get any better, along comes a restaurant that proves otherwise. Despite arriving at 7 pm to a packed house, my friends and I managed to find seats. Ankit, our server, was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the concept to us. Every dish we tried, from the Corn Pops to the jackfruit cutlets, dahi puri, and chicken malai tikka, was bursting with flavor nothing was too mild or overly spicy, just the perfect balance of spices. If I could award this place 5 extra stars, I would. Anyways, we ll definitely be back for more!
I cant say im a connoisseur of Indian foods by any means as Ive had very limited exposure to it. However, I know I have good food when i eat it. And Arth did not disappoint. I opted for the butter chicken with basmati rice and some garlic naan. The naan was so light and airy yet flavorful in every bite. I could easily eat 3 or 4 orders had I not cared for the carb intake The butter chicken was phenomenal! Initially when I saw the portion for the price I was a little taken back but once I started eating it, its a well sized portion to not feel gluttonous after. Juicy, tender chunks of chicken, delicately flavored with sweet, tomatoey flavors, hints of spice and curry that didnt over power one over the other but complimented one another effortlessly. The basmati rice was cooked to perfection as well, airy and fluffy and held texture in every bite. Arth was great! Though my budget wouldnt allow daily visits, I definitely am looking forward to my next outing to try out the rest of the menu.
This new place is Kirkland (Downtown) is a real recommendation. Ordered Dahi Puri, Chilli Chicken, and the Paharganj Ke Chole Bhature. Everything tasted great, and the atmosphere is good for dine-in.
Got to try this one today. The place seems to be little tighly packed. The tables were placed close to each other. Sadly there is no only reservation system you need to call them in advance to book a table. There were only 2 servers who were rotating around to take orders. The service was also bit slow. Portions are small or average in size. The candlelight setting along with live music was only good part of the dinner. Also noticed the music was little loud at times. Parking: There is shared parking in the area. You might have to wait a bit to get a spot else you may park roadside.
Even though we ate appetizers , our main course never made it to the table even though we waited one hour and everyone around us got the food inspite of being seated after us. Our waiter was constantly saying food is coming but it be never came.finally we canceled the order. It was unreal service! We also ordered a drink Sharabi lassi which took 40 mins to come and didn t taste like lassi at all and inspite of telling the waiter the drink doesn t match the contents of what was supposed to be in the menu , the waiter insisted it was right drink. The menu said mango and yogurt and we got strawberry and rose water in the lassi ( see picture). Something was off! Not happy and Super disappointed with the overall service ! Update 2/14:Thank you for providing a better service Today ! We revisited the restaurant and everything was great! Slow service due to Valentine s Day but still overall quicker ! Thanks
We went to Arth for lunch and was quite impressed. Tried their Champaran Mutton and Tandoori Pomfret. The mutton was excellent, very tender and flavorful. Reminded me of my moms special kosha mangsho. Pomfret was good too. Will go back again soon to try other items in their menu.
Giving a 1 out of 5 since I am unable to give a Biiiigggg ZERO Worst customer experience!!!! Our evening at Arth - The Indian Bistro on February 17th 2024 started pleasantly with a prompt seating at 6:45 PM for our reservation. However, the positive start quickly faded as the wait for our food stretched to an unacceptable 50 minutes. Despite repeated inquiries, the staffs response was dismissive and lacked empathy, further dampening the experience. The guy who took our order was by far the rudest guy I have ever met at a restaurant. He even pushed us to cancel the order His response when we followed up on the delay was - cancel your order if you want, Or else you need to wait for 15 more mins (after waiting already for 50 mins) as our sheff is busy - cant believe this was his response This significant delay and the unprofessional handling of our concerns fall far below the standards expected from a reputable restaurant, especially considering the excellent customer service offered by other Indian restaurants in Seattle. These guys knew we were not going to tip them and forcefully charged a 20% gratuity charges (taking a 18$ tip) tagging this as a party order when we were 4 adults and 2 kids (below the age of 4). I have never seen such pathetic behaviors from any restaurants upto this point in my life. I will never visit this place going forward and would recommend my friends, acquaintances and whoever is reading this review to stay away from this place. There are so many restaurants out there who treat their customers well. I would appreciate if the owner is able to look into this matter as most of the employees here need serious customer relation management classes. This is just my 2 cents if you want to sustain in this business.
Had a great time exploring their small bites menu! However their could be some improvement in the taste of the dishes. 1. Tamarind margarita didnt feel like a margaritas 2. The jackfruit cutlet had good flavor but needed some more sauce. I ended up using pani from pani puri and dahi from dahi puri to further enjoy the taste. 3. Similar to the cutlet, the dal arancini needed some sauce after the top sauce was finished. However I enjoyed the flavors with the sauce provided. 4. The pani puri shots were good. 5. The Dahi Puri-fect was the best small plate! 6. Chicken 65 was served in a big cup but taste was average. I would still come back to try the Main dishes.
Terrible experience at the restaurant - unresponsive staff, long wait times, and a complete lack of customer service. The owner of the restaurant should let his servers know that customers pay for the food and experience. Spoiling someone evening due to lack of professionalism is unacceptable. On top of this the restaurant forcefully charge you 18% gratuity for they misbehavior. If you are really interested in paying for unpleasant experience, then this is the place for you. Won t be returning for ever.
I just love this place! They serve really lips smacking tandoori item to chef s special fish too! Front staff is very helpful and welcoming specially Mr. Ankit he helped us to select items as we been to this place very first time. Must try their rustic chicken malai kebab along with best martini which I ever tried and that s too with gastronomy style service with smoke wow! I found this place s ambience is very cozy and classy too! I met their head Chef as he only came to us and he greed us so well; the way he was checking on us from asking about food and service that s so nice gesture being one chef! Arth is very hospitable as we got plenty of time to enjoy our each meal course even in hustle hours of weekend! What a sweet tooth stuff they serve creamy Shrikhand and Malpua and that s what made my day!
Really nothing to complain about. Food is flavorful and delicious. Interesting appetizers. Fast service.
The restaurant was definitely not worth the hype. The food was mediocre and the service was very delayed (almost 30 minute wait time between courses). It s not a very fancy place and was quite crowded for the small area. The Kadai Paneer and Jackfruit Kofta were good. Non vegetarians in the party mentioned that the Kadai chicken was mediocre at best. The soya chaap starter was the recommended dish by the restaurant and it was the worst one in the lot. The mint chutney accompanying the starters was very bad and looked and tasted like colored green mayonnaise. Overall, I wouldn t go back here again. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian food was decent.
Slow service. We had 2 lil kids and one senior citizen with us. An order of one soya chaap and one veg biryani took 45 mins. People who came after us were served before us. Would never go back. Servers were not even ready to check if we were served.
A hidden gem in the area, this Indian restaurant serves authentic and distinctive dishes with impeccable service. The ambience was exceptional, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff, especially Sameer, Ankit, Sumant, and Radhe, were attentive and eager to make our dining experience memorable.
Consistently exceptional! We had another 5* experience yesterday at Arth. Everything was superb - food, presentation, vibe, service. We ordered Chicken 65, Chili Chicken, Paneer Tikka, Dahi Puri, Butter Chicken, Amritsari Kulcha, Naan. I asked my family what dish was the best. And honestly none of us could single out one as all the food was absolutely outstanding. Mac and Jack on tap and Prosecco complemented the wonderful culinary experience. And what a well-balanced sweet finish with Gulab Jamun and Shrikhand. A shout out to Radhe for the outstanding, warm service. We ve had family dinners at multiple places these holidays but none of the others come close. If you re looking for a memorable family dinner this holiday season, look no further.
Beautiful restaurant, great food and great service. The food spice level was spot on, and everything tasted fresh made.
This place opened up about 4 months ago. The food and presentation were really really good. I came with family and we were all super impressed by the quality of food. Had the goat biriyani, champaran meat, pani puri shots, jackfruit cutlet and kadhai paneer. Each was top notch!
One thing that stood out the most here of all the Indian places Ive been to is the worst service. The person who took our order was rude and didn t even come to check if we needed anything. He was rushing so much, the food wouldn t arrive 20-30 mins after ordering. The place was super crowded, noisy and tables were so close. The green chutney was literally mayonnaise, other things we ordered were fine. Strange curries do not come with a side of rice and have to be ordered separately.
Food was nice but less option for vegetarian in starters. But we ordered samosa chat and corn pop both were super tasty. Food is little expensive as portion is less. But do try these two food the taste was yummy
This has opened recently and the location is where The Guilt Trip used to be couple of years ago. Seems they sold it off to ARTH. The menu items resembles exactly what TGT offered but the taste lets you down. The amount you pay vs the taste and quality of food you get is just not worth price. Overall starters were cold and seemed reheated with the exception of Jackfruit cutlet which was tasty. Also ordered Chole Bhature and Butter Chicken which were overall bland and avoidable. You are still better visiting Chutneys or Farzi Cafe in Bellevue.
Recently dined at this newly opened Indian place in Kirkland. I think they replaced Guilt trip. They have ample parking and the food was decent but a little on the pricier side. We tried their Soya Chaap: For our appetizer, we tried the Soya Chaap, which is a soya basec preparation and is prepared like Paneer Tikka with a charred flavor. It looked good but I wasnt super impressed with the flavors - would suggest skipping it Jackfruit Kofta: For main course, we started with the Jackfruit Kofta, which, to my surprise, was like a mystery novel - you had to hunt for the jackfruit flavor. It was more of a Malai Kofta in disguise! Sneaky, but still tasty. Kadai Paneer: Loved it! It was like a fireworks display in my mouth - spicy, tangy, and oh so satisfying. Good proportion of veggies and paneer. Definitely recommend. Naans and Roti: The naans and roti were soft, fresh, and ready to scoop up all the deliciousness. Good food in all. A few items are priced high but the portion size is good. Definitely coming to try more items on the menu.
Great food, and the attention to menu shows with the awesome Draft beer. Food was great! The kitchen was fast to deliver the food
While the reviews for the Indian restaurant were overwhelmingly positive, our personal experience left us somewhat disappointed. Despite selecting items based on recommendations, the flavors didnt resonate with our preferences. Its possible that our choices didnt align with the restaurants specialties. However, the overall dining experience, though not meeting our expectations, was still decent. Taste is subjective, and what may appeal to one palate might not to another. We appreciate the positive aspects highlighted by other patrons and acknowledge that our experience might be an exception.
They said they dont server warm water when we asked for it. The food was cold, the attitude of the server was horrible. No paper menu, the e-menu had no pictures. The only good thing was we were there in New years eve and there was a singer which we enjoyed alot. The portions were small which shown as a lot by covering with gravy.
Arth - The Indian Bistro in Kirkland failed to meet even the most basic standards for a dining establishment. The subpar food quality, coupled with the disrespectful staff, made for an extremely unsatisfying dining experience. I strongly discourage anyone from dining here if you expect courteous service and enjoyable food. Save your time, money, and taste buds by seeking out better dining options in the area.
Food was great!
Food is not freshly cooked. it feels like frozen dishes reheated and served. Its not acceptable at the price point. Paneer is hard. Chicken tasted good. My wife and me both had indigestion(to put it lightly) from lunch here, so will not visit again.
Went there for dinner. Service was terribly slow. Most of the dishes that we ordered were tasteless. Portion size was very small for the price.
Really good crispy thin naan! Must must have! We have been looking for good naan for 16 months and this was the best! Dal makhani and kadhai paneer was very tasty, will come again.
This place is not worth the price at all. Food was average. They were negotiating for to go boxes. Their malpua was really bad. Overall the place is not recommended.
We went on a Saturday night around 8.15ish... first impressions was the great atmosphere. About 5 min wait to be seated for a walk-in... pretty good. They may have been perhaps short staffed on this day so the service was very slow.. it took a good 10-15 min to just get our first water glasses and a server to check-in with us. Then much longer to take our orders, get food, get drinks refills. The food and drinks: good vegetarian selection. Interesting cocktails. The taste of food itself though was underwhelming for us. Biryani was ok/cold (2/5). Chole/bhatura was very good(4/5). Tikki chat was good(3/5). Kala Khatta cocktail was very good (5/5) though slightly overpriced. Overall, this experience was so-so but Id give them another try to give them the benefit of the day of unusually freezing cold temperatures (20F) which may have affected the quality of food/availabilityof staff.
This is a nice fine dining Indian Restaurant in Kirkland. Went in for dinner and the staff were polite and courteous. The atmosphere was good and the food was very tasty. Strawberry milkshake was also very good. We had a good experience over here and would definitely recommend this place.
4.5 stars. Service and atmosphere were excellent. Im not vegetarian but the veggie dishes were (IMO) tastier. This was Indian food done without laziness. A dish or two was juuuust a touch thin as far as depth of flavor, but altogether my SO and I liked it and well come back.
5-star food that is not common in other Indian restaurants around - 1) makke di roti + sarson da saag was very flavorful, 2) pahargunj ke chhole + Bhature were yummy, not oily, the accompanying pickle was luscious, 3) jackfruit cutlets were delectable with perfectly crispy outside and moist filling, the accompanying salad was lightly flavored. The ambience was clean and tasteful but also welcoming for families with kids The staff was courteous, spoke enough (not too much and not too little and gave us the space) and delivery was prompt.
Have been to arth twice. first time was with a group of friends and the food was very meh at that time. I felt that there were very few options for vegetarians. I just remember eating multiple similar versions of chole and paneer. chole was super ok. we thought of giving a 2nd chance. for the next dine in, we ordered 2 chicken curries, korma and kadhai. both were exactly opposite in taste which was awesome, curries were flavorful. one sweet and other spicy. the 2nd time experience was good. I might just go one more time for those 2 curries only. but beyond that, I am hoping to have more menu options.. I am giving 3 star just because of the veg experience.
Great atmosphere, the food was amazing, their HOT spice level is actually ! Our server Ankit was extremely attentive and helpful, and made for a comfortable dining experience. He also made an excellent recommendation for my entree, it was fun to try something new and discover a new favorite dish. Well definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Jackfruit and paneer dishes are delicious!
Absolutely best Indian place in redmond/kirkland area. Did family style and tried multiple dishes, was stunned by each one. Food : 5/5
Please spare yourself from the agony. The food is really spicy , all of us ended up with an upset stomach. We specifically asked for mild spice levels and the server suggested us to order butter paneer. That was super spicy and the rest of the dishes were flavorless with nothing but spice. Service is below par, took over 45 minutes to get everything. I would never dine again at this spot.
Food is very poor quality. It was swimming in oil and the quality was not worth the price
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The flood was great and the service was excellent. Our server was Ankit and he was very nice and personable. We will be back again.
We heard so much about this place from our friends and decided to give it a shot. The food was spicy but good. The bad part about this is our 2 year old could not eat the food as it was very spicy for him. Upon asking the only thing which he could eat was daal makhani and every else is kind of pre arranged in spicy way and can t be customized. Coming to service, it was pathetic. My toddler after trying their food had spit up, which he did in plate. The person who was serving us starter we asked him if we can get another plate, his response was I am not your server and I will send your server here. We waited and nobody came. Main course was served and we again requested the plate but nobody gave it and we ended up managing in 2 plates only.
We didn t think the food was tasty. Everything tasted a bit sweet, and very oily/greasy. The jackfruit kofta was decent, and the only dish somewhat memorable. We also tried the chicken tikka masala, paneer pasando, and dal. All the mains were extremely heavy on cream/fat, and not tasty at all. We couldn t finish the dishes. Not worth a visit.
Recently had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We really like the jackfruit cutlets appetizer and the champaran goat entree. The ginger masala lemonade was also very tasty.
We celebrated birthdays with 12 people at this amazing venue. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The reservation process was easy and hassle-free, and the table was ready right when we arrived. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and they catered to all our requests with patience and professionalism. The food was exquisite and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices and textures. We ordered a variety of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, and each one was beautifully presented and delicious. Ankit, our server, was not only great at his job, but also became our DJ. He played our selection of songs and made the entire experience super fun. We had a blast at this venue and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable celebration. We will definitely be back soon. Parking: free parking but was tough to find a spot during busy times. Kirkland locations are always tight with parking and so, we carpooled.
Had dinner with friends. The food was beyond delicious, bursting with flavors. And amazing service provided by Ankit.
Food is delicious! Service is awesome.loved the experience
The appetizers were yummy. Our favorites were the aranchini and jack fruit cutlets. For the entrees we enjoyed the butter chicken and saag. Nice staff.
The quality of the food is not good at all. The chaat was good before but now it is not as good as before...food are no so fresh.
No rice with my takeout butter chicken.
Food - We ordered Pahargang Chole Bhature -- the bhature were very good, the chole were not the black chole which are sold by this name in Delhi. The chole tasted good, but they can be better - Ordered Kadhai Paneer which was mindblowing. The cost is justified by the quantity (good enough for 3 people) and the taste is very much like in Indian restaurants. Had it with lachcha paratha which was also very good. Service and atmosphere were very good, it was pretty empty due to a lunch weekday timing. Hoping the taste here remains consistent with time, the first impression is very good !!
Food is ok, lot of space, good location
My first time here and I was blown away. The service was great, the food excellent and the margarita was one of the best I ve had. Yes, at an Indian restaurant. Try their margarita. I ordered samosas to eat in house, and ordered the Kadhai chicken + lachha paratha to go. I can t wait to return to try more.
Place has great food. Ankit was awesome. Great service
Great dining experience. Our waiter Ankit was particularly attentive and friendly. Definitely would come back
Just had a great lunch with my friends. Food was delicious, great service and beautiful location. I will be back pani puri shots were delicious and fun
You can t miss their Jackfruit Cutlets, Lamb Curry, Dal Tadka, Pan Ice Cream and some really good Cocktails.
Ambience is good and fancy and food presentation is also fancy but food is not so good. They need to improvise on taste and get more authentic taste. I dont recommend trying chats at all
Every single dish I tasted has been a 10/10 from the seekh kebabs to the champaran meat. Im from Bangladesh and the biryani reminded me so much of home. Something delightfully Bengali about the flavor and richness. You can taste subtle quirks in their dishes that set them apart from the same offerings at other restaurants. I hope this place gets even better with time!
Food is generally good except for a few things. We ordered jackfruit cutlet, jackfruit kofta, chole bhature, paneer tikka, kadhai paneer and panipuri shots. The panipuri shots are fancy but did not live upto the expectation. I will pass on this next time. Chole were good but were slightly tangy. Bhature was soft. Jackfruit cutlet was a 4/5 and all the paneer and kofta was a 5/5. Ambience was nice and enjoyed the 90s and 2000s Bollywood music played then.
Ordered corn dip which was decent. Terrific Tikka (paneer tikki) was not good at all. Kalakhatta Mocktail was good. Paneer kadhai (a.k.a. achari paneer) was weird. Fresh ginger lemonade did not have a ginger taste. Dal makhani was decent.
