Hello, I have been there twice this year and the dishes are still just as tasty. As a starter I had delicious and tasty polpettes accompanied by good warm bread. And a Cesar salad with chicken as a main course rounded off my meal. As for the wine table, it has nothing to envy of other great restaurants. And what can we say about the service, beautiful smiles and speed are present. As the saying goes; Never 2 without 3, so Ill be back. THANKS

I had the pleasure of bringing my brother back to Vieux Four Manago when he returned from his trip, and what a great culinary experience it was! As soon as we entered, the tempting smell of the dishes made our mouths water. My main dish was not only tasty but also served hot, which enhanced the taste pleasure. The warm and smiling welcome, in particular the attentive service from Véronique, truly added a special touch to our lunch. Thank you very much to the whole team for this great experience. We will definitely come back soon!

I had not been for a while and will not go back on a Saturday evening. Too many people were squished around tables making the noise level extremely loud. The ceiling is too high and can not dappen the sound level. I had not enjoyed the meals as in previous occasions, heavy on garlic and salt. If I go back it will be a week night for pizza only.

This restaurant never disappoints you. The food is fresh and delicious and the service impeccable. I love their pizza. Its hard to find vegetarian meals that are worth the outing but this is just amazing food for any diet. Their meal salad is truly a meal. Yes its a little pricey but you dont leave here feeling like you could have done better elsewhere. My husband and I shared a half seafood half vegetarian pizza and the baby spinach salad and it was all awesome! Update: I usually enjoy the food here but I think something has changed. The quality of the food and then portions just arent the same. The plates used to be so grand and the presentation and ingredients so good but last night, a very busy Tuesday because of the golf tournament nearby left me so disappointed Im not sure Ill go back even after all of the previous good experiences I had. We had an escargot entree and it was watery. My husband suspects that they were frozen and that was melted ice in the dish. I told the waitress that it tasted like water that had diluted all of the garlic butter and she said she would tell the kitchen but never came back with any follow-up. I had the eggplant parmigiana and I agree with another reviewers description, it was a blob of cheese with some sauce and a few thin bits of eggplant. Something a deli would serve not an Italian restaurant let alone this one! I really think theyre cheaping out on ingredients and its just a matter of time before the regulars catch on and stop going like me. Fyi for an amazing eggplant parmigiana go to Piazza Romana. Note to the owner, youve lost your once loyal customer who referred everyone to you. I hope you fix the problem before it puts you out of business.

We were a party of 4 celebrating a birthday and were very pleased that we had chosen Le Vieux Four Manago Kirkland for dinner! We arrived at 6 pm and the place was buzzing a great vibe! Even though it was packed the acoustics allowed us to converse easily. Our server was attentive , accommodating and very friendly. We started with the lobster ravioli with a scallop sauce which was delicious, we had different entrees but each one was scrumptious and the crème brûlée was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant , and know we will be returning!

Issues were that the restaurant was extremely noisy making it difficult to have a conversation , the waitress didnt come by and ask how things were going and although there was someone who frequently came back to fill our water it was always room temperature and without ice.

I ordered the eggplant parmesan appetizer to the tune of around $26. It was a small container with a blob of mozzarella and what tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes with a DASH of sugar. No oregano, basil nothing. There was no eggplant! There was a bit of salty mystery pieces - my husband and I couldnt figure it out. Eggplant should have been the star. It went in the garbage. And while Im here. I was with a party of 4 for August 31st. 2 tables in the restaurant. Pizza, a friend ordered, had sliced olives thrown in the middle of the pizza and not dispersed. They were CANNED sliced and not kalamata. $30 pizza?? REALLY. Our meals were mediocre. Never going back.

Our experience was fabulous! Wonderful food. The Carbonara was out of this world. Our server was excellent. The only downside was the very rude hostess who rolled her eyes when we said our reservation was for outdoor seating. She also made a face and was extremely rude to my 85 year old mother when she told her to move out of the way.

Highly recommended. Friendly staff and, as always, top tier food.

The service and atmosphere were great! My only problem was with the Spaghetti Primavera. The sauce was kind of bland and just sat at the bottom of the plate. I come here often with family and everyone really enjoys their food otherwise! Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options are available, and the menu asks you to inform them of dietary restrictions. Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant can be difficult when its busy, but theres plenty of parking in the rest of the strip mall. Kid-friendliness: Kids options on the menu

Decided to try this place for my birthday and werent disappointed. Pizza was amazing and we had tiramisu for dessert. It was really good! I will come back.

Most dishes are good except for few pizzas. Usually loved the service but last Satuday I went the waiter was pissed off I left exaclty 15% tip. I dont think I will ever go back. He was talking about the tip when I was still in the restaurant.

Excellent piripiri poutine

We placed a pick up order, 2 salads, one was a Cesar and the other one was the mango avocado. It was prepared quickly but the only negative fact is that the salad was empty and barely had any ingredients, the Cesar salad only had lettuce and croutons. And the mango avocado salad had the same problem the ingredients were missing. The price for the salad was not worth it!!! We had to ask for a refund! Horrible salad! It was disappointing.

I was looking forward to eat at this restaurant because of the good reviews but I must admit, my wife and I were upset with the level of service we got. I am not the type to complain and I am a very tolerant person but here are my opinions on our experience: - it took almost 45 minutes to get our food. - we had to ask our waitress 3 times for some water and when we finally got it,it was warm.and no ice. -in the time we waited for our food, not once did our waitress come by to check up on us,when our food finally arrived we still didn t have our water. -my dish was missing a few key ingredients that were on the menu but not on my plate. - at the end of the meal she already had our bill ready and failed to mention that my table d hote meal included a coffee . I wanted to say something but I was too upset and I simply wanted to leave. -I do want to point out that at the beginning when the waitress was talking our order, her demeanour changed when we mentioned that we simply wanted to stick with water and no wine. I simply didn t want any wine because I had to drive after my meal. I was looking forward to a wonderful evening with my wife but this ordeal spoiled our evening.It s a nice looking restaurant and the food tasted ok, but I won t be going back there again . There are other restaurants in the area that are really great with great service and great food and you get treated with respect such as Casa Mare,and La Serenata across the street. But Manago left me with a sad impression. -

First time at this place. Invited by my sister and her husband, we loved it. Served by Sébastien who has worked there for 7 years. We were served very well, excellent food and good atmosphere. We tried a pizza with caramelized onions and goat cheese; a delight! Accompanied by Caesar salad and a Valpolicella. We will go back there for the veal very soon

Today, we were celebrating a friends birthday at Manago. Our waitress was awesome. Very attentive and polite. But the food quality at Manago has really gone down since our last visit. Pizzas had no flavor, pasta was hard to chew. Brochetta, the chef gave us diced dry tomatoes without any seasoning. The only thing we enjoyed was the small basket of fresh bread that was served at the table. It wasnt the moneys worth meal at all. And believe me it wasnt a cheap meal either. Ambiance and the serve was amazing.

First, I had asked to be seated outside, but they gave us a table inside saying that there was no room for us although I had reserved a week ahead of time. The bruschetta was tasteless. The zucchini fritters were limp and the Santa Fee and Vegetable pizzas were not very tasty. It was a special occasion, for a milestone birthday with my two daughters so we were all Disappointed. I particularly found that the quality of the food had decreased in the last year. The waitress was amazing so kudos to her.

Ive been going there since it opened and its still as good as ever! I live on the south shore of Montreal and I continue to go there a few times a year. The wood-fired pizza and penne arrabiata are delicious!

Yesterday evening we celebrated a friends birthday in a party of 3, with a reservation. As always, since we enjoyed the terrasse here a few years ago, we enjoyed last night immensely, feeling treated, with cooking and quality of ingredients a cut above for generosity and freshness, and the considerate, timely service of Kevin. The wine list does not disappoint. On the Table dhôte we enjoyed the crab cakes, as good as at any beach resort, with a thin crispy crust, and the thin-crust pizza made in a traditional wood-fired oven, with a request accommodated for using blue cheese instead of the goat cheese for my husband. (It was similar to my favorite Francesca pizza on the à la carte menu.) The house-made tiramisu is a very generous portion, and does not exclude any traditional ingredients like the liqueur. The mascarpone was smooth and rich, the lady finger cookies fresh and delicious. Our birthday guest received a festive sparkler and we sang happy birthday. If youd like to celebrate, or simply feel too tired to cook dinner, or want a lunch treat, try Le Vieux Four. I am SO happy for this discovery, and was reluctant to share, in case reservation space disappeared! It is now our go to spot, and EVERY service persons genuine attentiveness is really rare today, with such good food, from savory veal, to pizza, crispy, hot calamari or the arancini, try everything, you wont be sorry!!!! Worth every $. Parking: There are many spots earlier, like 5:30pm , and overflow parking in adjacent areas for later, steps away, no shortage.

Group reservation on a Saturday afternoon for a double birthday... The service was perfect... The food was very good... The prices, well, with inflation its expensive, but the bill was all in all reasonable.... The whole group seemed satisfied... I can only recommend the place without any reservation.

It was our first time there. Our waitress had a very big attitude problem. My son ordered a salmon tartar and came extremely spicy. He could not handle it. I tasted it and it was indeed spicy. Waitress argued that she tasted it and it wasn t. She didn t even propose to change or take it back. service took very long. Forgot to bring us 2 drinks as requested but they both appeared on the bill. You can guess how bad her attitude was when I pointed it out.

A restaurant we go to regularly! However, on Friday December 22 there was disappointment! Fettucini carbonara!! The pasta drowned in cream sauce, and garlic......but so much that the dish was totally denatured!!! No more taste of bacon and even cream sauce, that taste of garlic!! Really disappointing!!! And not to mention the quantity which in my opinion should be revisited!!!! Pure and simple waste!! I brought the remaining quantity home but my fridge smelled so much of garlic that I had to throw it all away!!!

I personally come here 3 times a year from Toronto. Nothing beating this Rosé tortellini. Their customer service is outstanding and very accommodating. I d recommend this to anyone coming to the MTL area it s not something to miss out on

Good morning. Always a pleasant welcome. From starter to dessert everything is perfect. The staff is really attentive and knows the menu well. Always with a smile and politeness, A1 service. A good wine list. Very clean restaurant. I always have pasta and it is al dente. The pizza so tasty. Very competitive prices. Wine is the same price as in other restaurants.
