Ristorante Paradiso offers authentic Italian cuisine inspired by the owner's Sardinian roots in the middle of Kirkland. Choose from our extensive wine list, enjoy excellent service, and gourmet cuisine prepared by our top chefs.
Mighty restaurant with good authentic Italian food. My favorite is the piping hot off the stove pasta with simple ingredients like tomato and EVOO, etc. Reservation is recommended. Street and lot parking are available around the area.
Growing up in Kirkland, and living in or around the area most of my life. I’ve seen this restaurant Many times. And, this was my first experience. The location, the ambience, the service and food were great! I will be back!
I made a reservation as Italian food sounded great but left unsatisfied. My friend and I shared the bruschetta which was okay but I don’t like olives in mine so tried to top my bread with the mixture without olives (the bruschetta didn’t come finished). I ordered the lamb rack with gnocchi special and was so excited as I love lamb and gnocchi, but the dish was so bland. The gnocchi tasted like potato with no salt or pepper, the cream sauce also lacked seasoning. The lamb was cooked well but also no flavor. The drizzle of balsamic was actually in the way and was difficult not to get on hands or silverware. My friend had the lemon chicken and her vegetables were also very bland (looked like frozen vegetables steamed in a microwave) and she didn’t even finish the chicken. I didn’t see on the menu or hear from our server that the pasta was made fresh in house so I skipped a full pasta dish. With dinner lacking, we skipped dessert. Our table was also very uneven and with a dull knife, the entire table shook when cutting my meat. The restaurant is very small and they have crammed tables in there. Our server was friendly and attentive and I appreciated seeing the tablecloths get changed between diners. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable, I was in pain as I walked away for the night.
Went here with a friend recently and we LOVED the food sooo much! our plates and food were HOT to the touch, yummy and flavorful! probably one of the best pasta dishes we’ve had in a while! their bread is really good too! the bill for two people was a little pricey but the atmosphere and food itself is probably worth it! our server was nice, but seemed a little tired and rushed us a bit. there was a busser there however who amazed us with his quickness and server skills when we requested for something our server wasn’t there for, so shout out to him! atmosphere was a vibe, very clean and upscale Kirkland area, across the street from busy cactus. just wish their tables were more spaced out though, cuz you’re literally sitting so close to others…. yikes! overrall, we enjoyed our time here and WILL be back again! :)
Paradiso is our goto place when we crave some traditional Italian food, the kind that brings you comfort and happiness. It isn't fancy, and staff is always friendly. I came here because i craved lasagna, and their version definitely hit the spot. A generous meat sauce that has small pieces of ham, uncommon but added another level of savory. Hubby had the stuffed chicken breast that unfortunately was slightly dry. It was a very busy weekend night but staff was working hard to take care of everyone in a timely manner. It is a neighborhood gem!
Absolutely delicious food made from fresh ingredients. My Risotto di Mare was delicious as was the gnocchi my husband ordered. The salad dressings were also freshly made in house and were fresh and vibrant. Highly recommend.
We had a craving for pasta. A quick search later and we ended up at Paradiso. The service was great. Our server knew the menu very well and made well informed recommendations. She was attentive, friendly, warm, and overall just great. Given the warm sunny day we asked for outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. Pasta was prepared well and sauces very flavourful. Overall a great meal on a beautiful day.
We were looking for authentic Italian food and found this place in downtown which we passed by several times but we never been inside to dine. We ordered tomato soup and Insalata Mista for appetizers; Linguine alla Norcina and Rigatoni alla Rustica as main course. Appetizers were okay. We loved both pasta dishes. The creamy sauce with sausage was just perfect. Rigatoni alla Rustica was the best as well. Both pasta were in decent amount, were so full. We were there for a quick lunch but ended up spending long lunch hour plus adding desserts as well followed by delicious cappuccino 😊 though I am not a desert person 🤔.
We ate there last night and I ordered the swordfish around 7pm. Proceeded to vomit from 10:30pm until 530am, definitely was served rotten fish. Wait staff was really nice but not worth having my next day ruined like this. Really disappointed in the quality of food, don t order the fish!
My fave Italian spot in King County! Have visited for lunch and dinner. The food quality is always excellent. Highly recommended. Parking: Free parking beneath the library located 2 blocks away.
loving the food and Italian soda its really good! sometimes only in special occasions and birthday.. often Recommend with family
All the food is delicious, even the desserts and coffee are delicious.
They didn t prepare my steak correctly twice. I ordered a medium steak; the first time, it was overcooked, and the second time, it was medium-rare. One of the servers didn t seem to know his responsibilities. He filled our water glasses to the brim, pouring too quickly and causing splashes on the table. When we accidentally broke a wine glass, he asked us to pick up the broken pieces for him. Very disappointed, as the service does not match the quality expected from this restaurant.
Very lovely place and I loved all of the food. Jesus provided exceptional service, I really admired his attention to detail by asking us every question regarding our food choices to make sure we had everything we needed. I d recommend this place. Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options available
We visited here and enjoyed the food very much. We will be back.
I love the food here. I will be back.
Great food and service! Extensive menu with options for everyone. Easy parking. Very convenient alternative to Mainsteet Bellevue restaurants that can be impossible to book without a weeks notice. We go at least once per month. Highly recommend!
This is our go to spot for Italian in Kirkland! Service is always great, the Linguini Tutto Mare and Gnocci are our favorites and then the tiramisu is a perfect dessert!
Chicken with Lemon Sauce was our favourite.
Great place! Excellent food! Super excellent service! Food : 5/5
Perfectly bland. We stopped here on a whim based on the decent reviews and how hungry we were. Fortunately we left full, but didn t enjoy any of the food. The pizza tasted like it was a frozen pizza and very yeasty and wayyyyy too much cheese for a margarita pizza. My lasagna also tasted like it was frozen at one point and then baked in the oven. Nothing had flavor to it. The meal was so bad it got us talking about our top 3 worst meals we ve had and this ended up on our list. I ve had authentic Italian food before and this place definitely doesn t compare. On the plus side, our server was kind and attentive..he gets 5 stars from us!
The servers are not very friendly, and the foood isnt good either
Last time I went was earlier this year. A decent quality of food, service, and wine. Loved their pasta.
Everything we had was delicious and we tried a bunch of dishes! Reasonably priced. Great service. We will be back!
Amazing amazing amazing!!! Definitely recommend this place, you will eat amazing ITALY style pasta and crepe and also desert!!!
Im an Italian food freak, and this food wad amazing. I placed a delivery order for just one dish, and it put me in a food stoop. It was so good, I couldnt finish it all. I strongly recommend the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken.
Good Italian food in Kirkland
Ristorante Paradiso in Kirkland, is a nice place with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food as it was quite ordinary and did not stand out. What made the experience even more disappointing was the fact that I had mentioned it was my birthday when reserving the table, but nobody at the restaurant even acknowledged it or wished me a happy birthday. Overall, it was an okay experience but I was expecting more for a special occasion.
Very poor service
My favorite place to eat. Food is very delicious
Good, location is excellent
No way this pasta is rolled and made from scratch. Avoid anything with the bad watery white wine sauce. Dont know how this made Yelp 100 in 2022
Spent 180 dollars on food yesterday. This morning everyone in my family is sick. Do not order the pizza at all, the dough was all alive and it was not cooked correctly. Also I went inside to pick up one time and the waiter pushed me out and told me to go back around and go through the back door. You pay over 100+ dollars for horrible food and horrible service. Do not go here!
Good food
Food is good but service - meh.
Italian at its best. Cassic dishes. I had the caesar salad. The Accompanying bread was absolutely divine - fingers size with garlic and couldnt really discern if it had butter but a touch perhaps. My family used to come here and the Restaurant has not lost its touch. The kitchen smelled divine. Our waitperson was super helpful discreet and efficient. Definitely going back. Vegetarian options: Its italian theres gonna be cheese but im sure some dishes could Accommodate vegan. The small pizzas too
I liked this place. Great service (not overwhelming or underwhelming - just right). Food was good, but I wasnt blown away. There was a large party sitting next to our table which increased the volume considerably.
The food was great, I am in general not a fan of non pasta entrees in italian restaurants, but the Fish special we had ordered was good tasting and light. Service was prompt. Reservation recommended and good for date nights
Coming from out of town looking for comfort food. The food was very oily and tasteless. When we began to order the waiter leaned in close and asked if we knew what basic dishes were... we were all very confused as he acted like we did not understand english or were stupid. after this, waiter barely came by our table. would not recommend coming here. the previous reviews do not reflect this establishment correctly.
Came for a date, took the restaurant week special menu. It is good, but not surprisingly good considering the price... still a bit over my budget, will only come for special events as the atmosphere is nice. I really like the Panna cotta! So creamy and flavory!!
The food was amazing, its a cute little restaurant with very nice staff.
This is the first time I had really bad experience in a French restaurant. The bread is cold (it s fine, I can stand). Found the dead clam in Cioppino del capitano (fine .). Then when I drank the soup, I found a plastic tag thing (you know the plastic part with tag on the cloth. I will attach a photo to show you the material). I can t stand anymore. Twice I call them, their service attitude are not good at all. Especially after I told the waiter to remove this seafood soup from my order, he seemed unhappy at all. I don t think this seafood is completely made by them from scratch. It tastes like they just heat the frozen seafood. Seafoods are NOT fresh at all. I thought Vancouver BC only has better Chinese food, now I can say it also has much better French food! And price also better and better! I paid in front and at my table. I don t think this is normal for every table. Now I think it s such a waste for me to pay $3 tip. I won t come here again. Curious how can they get the award from trip advisor. It s funny. Their decorations are not good as traditional French restaurant. It s fine . But the restroom is dirty not the standard clean level of a French restaurant.
Really authentic Italien food here! Service is great. Will come back soon for a birthday dinner. Best dessert is Tartufo!
Fabulous dinner last night and great service. It is always good.
I like all food service and atmosphere
Went there for date night and it was okay. The main pasta dishes we ordered were very good. Tried the lemon sorbet for dessert and it was disappointing, like a frozen icee from 7-11 served in a frozen lemon rind. Atmosphere is okay for a small busy place. We felt rushed by the wait staff, to the point where my date even remarked on it. The prices are relatively low, so the value is okay. Getting a reservation on a Friday was easy so bottom line, it s not a bad place if you can t get in elsewhere and are in the mood for Italian food.
Walking around the restaurant row there in Kirkland last night, had a choice of coffee something, DimSum, SE TexMex and Italian. Thought that a linguini frutti de mare or cioppino would be a nice dinner but probably there would be a wait. Shocker - a table for two was available (5:30pm). The menu looked great, the dishes on other patrons tables looked delicious. Then the waiter - a REAL waiter by the way - he offers three specials did just he say Elk? Okay, game on, doing the Elk and gnocchi. The bruschetta appetizer was delicious, then here it comes. One bite in and I am having a wow moment. I shared a bite, both our eyebrows went up. Apparently can t include the photo - of the empty plate, jut a fork and knife on it.
Amazing place and very delicious food!
What a superbly delicious Xmas Eve dinner we all had. The spinach salad was flavorful and inventive and the linguine with seafood was beautifully light, savory, and generously topped with shrimp, clams, and mussels...dipping the breadsticks into that sauce was heavenly. Really made the holiday for us. Ill be back soon!
For take out they ask tips explicitly and rude. Will never back again.
Poor service, not take care customers enough, just walked past without look or ask customer. I found piece of glass on my table, that no one cared about. Food was mind, but too liquid maybe I expected too much Food : 3/5
Surprisingly good classic Italian cuisine, and a lovely wine list. 2012 Dal forno Romano Valpolicella was awesome. Friendly and efficient service. 1/7/2023: another nice lunch with friends.
Everything tested OK but not very good except for the fish special which was terrible. Kid-friendliness: They did make our son a pizza, even though they don t usually have it at dinner.
Horrible customer experience - the waiter was rude and disrespectful.
Solid Italian food, we tend to go here when we want something a little higher quality than some of the local hole in the wall places, but still not super fancy/expensive.
The best Italian restaurant in Kirkland to go eat at on Christmas Eve.
This is our favorite restaurant and we come here almost weekly. It is such an authentic italian restaurant, and our waiters are always very kind and accommodating to our kids. I especially want to praise Massimo who is so warm and friendly. The food is consistently amazing and i have tried most of their menu by now. They also have a daily special which is always very tasty. I cant recommend this place enough!
Went here for a 31st Dec dinner. Had a reservation at 9pm, reached on time. First look at the place, and it was a quaint and very quiet place. The tables are placed quite close to one another. We waited to be checked in and showed to our table. In the meantime, I saw a server cross me a couple of times. I smiled, he looked at me and looked away. He went to his table, exchanged hand shakes and hugs with a few folks there, thanked them for coming in and wished them a new year. Passed me again and again looked away. Felt very out of place from that moment onward. The server showed us to our table momentarily. I started looking at the excellent wine collection they have. And frankly it was quite elaborate. The server came and told us about the specials. Said he would get us the bread. The bread came after the appetizer. Had put down special occasion of anniversary as well, but no mention was made through out. The server wasnt rude but we just felt unwelcomed and he was just doing his job. He checked on us a few times and refilled our wine from time to time. Usually for special occasions, the staff do make some mention of it, get a desert perhaps on the house, but nothing of that sort happened. We werent asked for any food allergies either. As we ordered a bottle of wine, we were savoring it. Another server who was filling up our water glasses, he came in front of our table and checked his watch. That made me so uncomfortable, I gulped whatever wine was left and said I would wait at the car while my husband used the restroom. While leaving, I wished happy New Year and thanked the same guy who checked his watch. Blank stare is all I got. I would really like to rate the place for the awesome food which, was perhaps one of the best cooked Italian meals we had, but the service did put a damper on the whole thing. I would recommend this place for food, and if you like to whisper while talking cause man this place was quiet. Wine: Frescobaldi 2013 Appetizer: bruschetta (really nice bread, which wasnt too hard. Love every bite of it) Main course: crepelle ricotta e spinaci (spinach crepes cooked like lasagna. Amazing!) Chicken marsala (chicken was stuffed with cheese and spinach. Potatoes were a great hit with the Marsala sauce) Dessert: Tartuffo
Excellent food and service. Real Italian cuisine.
The food was GREAT! The pasta was light and fresh, exactly the style I wanted. Service was also good. Our waiter was friendly and patiently explained to us what is what (I am not familiar with Italian food). 4 star because of another waitress, who had long face and cold attitude when I asked her questions. Glad she was not our waitress!
Very good food!
The servant was rude and was very judgmental of what we ordered how we ordered and how we pronounced things and then he kept hurrying us to order and to cash out. The dishes were decent, not the best Italian place but will do, better than Olive Garden of course . Their virgin mojito was absolutely BOMB though, one of the best I ve had!
Staff is so stupid & manner less all the white dress staff i called the staff for help after looking they just carry on there work as if was nothing to them i was standing here for my online to more than 15 minutes & nobody bother to ask they are just running behind the for the dining customer don t want to care online order
Great food great service tiramisu is awesome
Vero good food, tasty
Not a single bad thing to say about this place. The wine, entrees, and tiramisu were fabulous! Service was good too.
Yummy! Very authentic Italian restaurant~
Great food and a good portion.
Hands down, one of our favorite & best Italian restaurants on the Eastside. Service is on par with the great food. Plus, impressive wine menu to add the perfect drink to your meal.
Food is always spectacular. Vegetarian options: Theres always a vegetarian entrée available. Wheelchair accessibility: There is no disabled parking in front of the restaurant but there is two temporary 15min spots that can be used as an alternative unloading situation.
Paradiso never disappoints me. Food quality is consistent. Service is wonderful. Price is quite reasonable. We ordered Bruschetta, Insalata di Barbietole(beet), Linguine vongole (red sauce) and Linguine Norcina (Italian sausage). Everything taste so good.
Very disappointing experience here tonight. We have previously dined here three times with an amazing waitress (Carmalina), each time my boyfriend has ordered the tuta mar and removed the clams and mussels and added a bolognese sauce. Each time the order has been taken by Carmalina, its come out perfect. Tonight we were served by Massimo. First my boyfriends dish came out with 2 barely cooked shrimp and 1 shriveled up scallop that was cut in half. Normally he gets at least 2 whole much larger scallops. We pointed this out to Massimo and he became frustrated with us but put in an order for 2 more scallops. Those scallops came out and were completely raw. The pasta dish itself was so fishy it was inedible. We told Massimo about this and he said it was because the clams and mussels were taken out....as if that explains the raw scallops? He then came back with the bill and practically tossed it on the table while rudely stating I voided it After several positive experiences with Carmalina, I would hate for this one bad experience to deter us from returning but the serving of inedible food and raw seafood topped by Massimos rude attitude seriously has us rethinking if returning is worth it.
Overpriced
Little, unassuming restaurant that has been in downtown Kirkland forever and hopefully will remain so. The food is nothing fancy, just basic tasty Italian fare, and thats fine by me.
Really enjoyed my first visit to Ristorante Paradiso this evening! The service was attentive. Our water glasses were kept full. The bread is amazing. I was a little surprised there was no oil & vinegar. I had the lasagna in the picture. It was piping hot direct from the oven! It was so delicious i struggled to wait for each bite to cool. My partner had the capellini with added scallops. That was perfection! We were too full to try the desserts this time. We will have to come back!
Really nice restaurant, food always very tasty, customer service 5+
Been going to this place for almost 20 yrs. Love their food, service and location. Never have I had a bad meal here. Fresh made bread, great wine selection and their tiramisu almost as good as my moms. My favorites are their linguine ala vongole with red sauce, their fruiti de mare and their ravioli with pink sauce. Yum, yum, yum!!
This was a great experience! Cambell was so sweet and spot on with the service! She went above and beyond with helping me find my wallet after accidentally misplacing it at a near by bar. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to others!
Took my newest rep to lunch at his choice of restaurant. Very nice white table cloth Italian Restaurant Paradiso with rich flavors and taste. Linguini with Italian sausage in white parmesan sauce with extra yummy and enough for Dan to take home dinner. I had the Capellini al Pomodoro Fresco which is tender angel hair pasta, with fresh and roasted tomatoes with garlic and olive oil sauté. We each had a small caesar salad. The baguette crisp toasted with light garlic butter/oil served as their bread was delightful. Service was good.
Their pizza smells and taste like an original Italian pizza, not an American pizza. I did not try many other options, but that was the first time I found a pizza that taste like Italy after I moved to the USA (exactly 1 year ago). Specially talking about their pizza dough, last time I tasted a pizza as good as this was in São Paulo, Brasil.
One of the best Italian restaurants in the Seattle area. Highly recommend.
Ok food. A bit expensive
Chose this restaurant accidentally and it was a great choice. Delicious food, very nice stuff, atmosphere place.
Food was delicious and large portions. The atmosphere was pleasant. Cost was about $38-$40 with a glass of wine. Food : 5/5
Well I attempted to call to inquire about getting a reservation for the following day. First time I was put on hold then hung up on. Called back and I told the next person what happened and all they said was... k, what do you need. So unfortunate I was really looking forward to trying this place being we are new to the area.
Very quick and professional staff. They are serious about their job and they strive to be polite and efficient. Atmosphere feels very high end but price is not extremely high. Personally I really recommend their Fettuccine Gorgonzola, my favorite Alfredo dish Ive had. Parking: There is a lot about 1 minute walk away from the restaurant. Typically it is packed on weekends but Ive had good luck getting a spot. Its only $1 an hour so its really no big deal.
The service was average, our server was polite and kind and the food came out properly. My complaint is with the food, I ordered the clam pasta and the noodles tasted like something I could buy at the grocery store. As well as the white wine sauce was not flavourful and overal not memorable. In addition we got desserts, and my Panna cotta was super small, and very thick, for the price you pay.
This is my favorite restaurant. The flavors are FRESH. The wine exquisite. The service commendable. Do yourselves a favor and dine here tonight.
Visited with my wife. Food was ok on average, but with definite lowlights. Bruschetta is overcomplicated with addition of mozzarella and olives, but not enough bread bits. Lasagne is fine, but a bit too much cheese compared to other ingredients. Clam dish was underwhelming (sauce didnt have a lot of flavor). Worst bit were the desserts - tiramisu with bone dry lady fingers (which is where most of the low rating comes from) and panna cotta was very dense (normally it should be on the lighter, fluffier side).
Italian food with a touch of PNW influences
Every time I come here I feel spoiled with the service and delicious food. Last time they were packed full and it was a slower meal but the wait staff continued to be warm and gracious. The food is incredible.
Loved the tiramisu. Had minestrone soup as well. The soup was good and different but not exactly minestrone - as it was missing the pasta, red beans, creamy soup.
Trained and courteous staff, healthy and delicious food.
Had a very nice dining experience. The food and service were both excellent. It was kind of a special occasion as I hadnt seen my daughter in quite awhile and for us to have such a nice time at dinner meant a lot to her. We would definitely love to go back next time were in Seattle. Highly recommend this restaurant
Loud
This place is always great they welcome you back and the services is great. It is very cozy and Jesus always gives a great service the same as the rest of the team
A cute little place. Usually very busy. However they have very professional staff. They are quick and responsive. It is that kind of traditional Italian restaurant you would run into during your trip in Italy.
Always great customer service, and food!
Great food
Decided to visit this place due to hight ratings. Over all atmosphere and food is good. Now, about service. I ve never had experience like this before, our server was just a basic server. No hight expectations or anything, but turns out that it doesn t matter how much you want to tip him. You know why? Because when you are gonna leave, he will go and change the tip. I was shocked when I saw that he added $10 more dollars of the tip. I called the restaurant and got attitude like oh , you re calling about $10? Hahah . Never felt so disappointed and disrespectful. Before you leave this place make sure to take a picture of how much you re leaving tip. I wish I did that, because it s something you can sue the restaurant for. Never going back there again.
Food looked good but in reality was kinda meh Seafood def not fresh can taste the frozen old water in my pasta Bread was eh Would not recommend I would say food is on par or worse than Cheesecake Factory but none of the comical portions or the service that cheesecake provides
Excellent service since we arrived and very good food 10/10.
I have loved this place in the past, so it was not my first visit here, ordered artichoke penne pasta only as was disappointed with the complementary bread they gave.. the bread has changed significantly from past ( but not for the good), we asked for extra pepper seasoning on top which never came but pasta was average, definitely had better pasta here before.
Terrific
Good service and food. Parking isnt great, but what do you expect for Kirkland
Most excellent food & dessert... really tasty and welcomed! Spendy... but hey! Its in downtown Kirkland... everyone is loaded, right really good food though!
Food is good, but service is ridiculous. Yesterday two female hosts still managed to miss my reservation .two pairs of eyes and they still missed it. Lol and how come guys at Feast next door are always on point and always find a table?! I think someone is discriminating folks based on Eastern-European accent. My free advice to managers to sign up its stuff for what we call Diversity and social justice trainings .don t try to delete this review like before. I will be checking and re posting again and again.
My husband and I had dinner here on 9/10/23. The food was good but the service was horrible, especially by our waiter Jesus. He obviously was prejudiced against us. We ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer. A couple sitting next to us who came after us ordered the same things but were offered fresh plates and extra bread but we were not. Also, the couple got their table cleared first even though we got there first and were done eating first and were waiting for Jesus to clear our table. We dine out a lot and this is the worst treatment we have gotten at a restaurant. Certainly not expecting it since there are so many good reviews about this restaurant. Left a very bad taste.
I dont like my pasta It doesn t taste good. But it does come with lots of seafood. Price is good given the amount . But the food .
The food is descent but the service is great. We got Risotto and a pasta dish. Both of them were fine.
As indicated, all metrics were exceptional, as always! Parking: The only weak spot! Food : 5/5 |
The best Salmon I ever had, and I don t even like seafood. Awesome beet salad and their bread.
First time at this restaurant and the waitress was rude , the spaghetti was so sour and the noodle was half cooked. My friend and I only had a few bites and ended up spending $70.56 plus 10% tip I could of left without tipping on rude and bad food but I wanted to practice kindness. I would of tipped 15% for service despite bad food if the service was a little friendly and respectful.
Good American version of Italian food in a busy area of Kirkland. Wine list is good but the markups are excessive for some selections but strangely not others. The menu is standard for an Italian American restaurant, not much creativity. Recommended dishes
Service consistently excellent. Best Italian sparkling wine. Scrumptious food. Lovely atmosphere with additional outdoor seating
I have eaten at Paradiso many times over the years. It s one of my favorite restaurants in Kirkland. Tonight I went with friends and our waiter told us we needed to leave when we paid the bill. I have never had a waiter tell me I needed to leave. We had only been at our table for 90 minutes at the time. He said they needed the table, and yet there was no one waiting to be seated. I m not sure if I want to return after this kind of treatment. Shocking!!
I made a reservation TWO days early, and when I got there they told me that they canceled, when I inquired who canceled it they said me, HELlO?! If I canceled in the first why would I be here, I received no text or calls about the cancellation, I will never come back to this garbage dump of a restaurant who doesn t take any responsibility for their mistakes. Save your time and go to Olive Garden, at-least they have more tables opened.
Just stopped in while walking through downtown, and was extremely pleasantly surprised. Had the cioppino, which was pleasantly presented with, with its garlic bread displayed in a starlike pattern around the dish. It was delicious, with a slightly spicy but not overwhelming tomato-based broth. Even the side bread was delightful, fresh out of the oven with a melt-in-your mouth texture. Add a chianti and side greens salad, and it was, all-in-all, very enjoyable!
Excellent service. Noise level is good. Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Wine list could be better but at least they have Italian wine. The bread is delicious. Clean restaurant. Parking can be a challenge but just plan for it. Vegetarian options: A vegetarian will find plenty of options.
Most of the food wasn t good. Ordered the bruschetta, seafood paste, gnocchi, and minestrone soup . The bruschetta was the star of the show. The gnocchi was flavorless, the pasta noodles were half cooked and the seafood spongy. The soup is always inconsistent. I ve had it where it was delicious and I ve had it, like I didnt when I ordered, where it didn t taste good. Service wasn t the greatest. Our table was by the wine also, so waited kept coming over to reach over to grab wine. There s better Italian places.
Food is always good here. Service is great. Id make a reservation though because its always packed.
Food is amazing & the service is wonderful!!
The bread is amazing! The rest of the food is very homestyle and often times does not taste fresh. DO NOT ORDER any of the crepes here. They are not fresh and will taste like mush. The lasagna past is mushy and overall bland. Like I said, the bread is really good and most likely not made in house.
There are very few times I want to spend almost 2 hours at a restaurant. This was not one of them. I made reservations for my wifes birthday. They sat us in the far back where we were constantly bumped by staff going in and out of the kitchen. Our waiter was very unatentive to our table which meant we were waiting long periods of time between ordering food, drinks, and our check. The couple next to us sat down maybe 30 minutes after we arrived and had their food and check before we even had an entree. I ordered the Cioppino and did not find the seafood fresh nor was the sauce flavorful, and the garlic bread was more like a salty breadstick. They do have a decent wine menu, but cocktails certainly are not their specialty. Perhaps this was all circumtance, but when spending so much on a meal I would expect much better service and quality of food. I would give this 2 stars, but the responses from the restaurant on other reviews put this to a 1. They seem very convinced they do not need to improve their service or quality of food.
Excellent food and nice ambience in heart of Kirkland. This place is a local staple that s been serving delicious food for years.
We dine outside as it was the only option....it started to rain and occasionally some rainwater would gets on our table in strem...other than that the food were great
Seating outside in the rain isnt recommended ...the food r great
Fantastic Italian food and wine. The bread basket is amazing.
The food here is amazing, the best pasta I have had in the state! Highly recommended.
Ill start by saying the food is amazing! Chefs are killing it! Lamb chops, lemom chicken, and seasonal halibut all were amazing. Having said that, the service needs improvement. Fathers Day party of 5 with reservations. Upon seating noted 5 out of 5 water glasses all had lipstick marks. Waiter rolls his eyes and silently walks off with them. Hoping to get a reset on attitude I apologized to him when he returns, and he gives me the oh its all good response. I dont say anything but no, it isnt all good...especially when Ive now noticed my fork is crusted with someone elses food still. Again, no response, no apology, doesnt even acknowledge it other than to quietly take it away. For the prices, can we get clean tableware? Never came back to fill soft drinks and said they were out of iced tea at 3pm on holiday wknd. Waiter still got better than 20% tip from generous wife that he definitely needs to share with the kitchen.
Love the fondue experience
Excellent service and food..Able to do fine dining on patio. Scampi heavenly, lemon and coconut dairy free desserts above the excellent mark! Vegetarian options: As well as wheat and dairy free on request. Beautiful menu!
The food was okay, nothing special especially for the price, though I did find some of their desserts good. We were here on the Saturday right before the 4th of July. The lady bussing the tables was kind, but the other waiter who took our orders was uninterested and borderline dismissive when we asked questions. I dont know, its bread, whatever. we only have one of that wine, why do you want to know the name. And it only got worse from there. Curt to the point of rudeness. There was no willingness to explain anything, and it didnt look like a problem of the wait staff being stretched either. Perhaps being a non-white patron is not favored in this establishment because that was the distinct feeling I got from this person.
We had dinner last night. Our table was in a weird location of the restaurant resulting in a poor dinning experience for us. The food was not good. I had some veal and it did not taste anything. Service was great. 100$ for 1 glass of wine + 1 entree for 2 people.
Excellent food and service Love it I want only to add that the ambiance reminded me of my Italian mother cooking. Thk you Sig. Fabrizio Loi
Amazing experience.
This place quickly became one of our favorites in Kirkland. For me, it s really hard to find good italian restaurants in the area - most times, the food is too spicy and, in my opinion, taste the same. Paradiso feels like a piece of Italy in Downtown Kirkland. LOVE IT!
We just visited before closing for dessert, but we will definitely be back. They were very happy to let us sit down for a tiramisu and a sip of port, and they have outdoor seating. We glanced at a menu and there are several Italian favorites on there. We have already picked out what we will eat there on our next date night. Friendly service and reasonable prices.
Outdoor Lunch at Ristorante Paradiso with friends today was so delicious on the sidewalk setting. The wait staff was wonderful in their service. The suggestion for the Apertol Spritzer was perfection in the sunny warm weather.
Really nice place, amazing service and food. Feels like you re in Italy inside!
We found this little gem in Kirkland and we were very pleased..Maximo was welcoming, very pleasant and took great care of us. We were meeting friends from our of town so lots of visiting. Maximo balanced our need for service with our conversation beautifully. Food portions were generous and amazingly flavorful. Desert put us over the top.
The food wasn t bad but inside of the restaurant were a lot of fly which sit on the food and the restroom don t have the paper things to sit on
Meticulous preparation! Excellent cusine
We love this little Kirkland gem and often recommend it to our friends who come from out of town. It is located on Park Lane, which offers a breezy upbeat vibe along the street of blended indoor/outdoor dining, galleries and boutiques. Ambiance in Ristorante Paradiso is an intimate setting of white table cloths, oodles of local and Italian wines, and tasteful decor. They have successfully made a small restaurant feel cozy and special. We have loved the meals we have had over the past 13 years finding it highly reliable, from pasta to seafood and appreciate the Italian wine recommendations from the staff. During our most recent lunch we tried a bottle of Tiare Sav Blanc, which pared perfectly with our fish special of the day lunch. Keep within the Italian theme and stop by Sirena Gelato (across the street) to pick up dessert and then walk to the nearby Kirkland Marina Park.
My wife & I dined here with our friends as we were craving some authentic Italian food with a fine dining setting, and the food as well as the ambiance hit the spot.
Could not have asked for anything more - delicious and amazing service. We will be back. Grazie Mille!
Amazing food! Amazing Ambiance!!
Good but some dishes lacked a bit of flavor / seasoning , did not feel the wine a lot in the white wine sauce.
We like this small Italian restaurant, it offers a respectable Italian menu that does not disappoint. The cuisine is prepared with the right ingredients and obvious love and care. I highly recommend you take a seat and enjoy a meal at this fine establishment. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world
This restaurant never disappoints. Been here few times, and will continue to come. Great service, tasty food, my favorite is the Linguine Tutto Mare.
Great food...we had the halibut and swordfish specials. We chose the same way they fixed, grilled and salted with loads of vegetables in light wine sauce. Perfect for a summer evening. Good nice service as well.
great cup of coffee and quick entre service, very classy welcoming restaurant overall.
1 kg of pasta with 20g of mussels for 25$, be our guest! Waitresses are a bit high walking. Didnt like the experience.
My wife and I ate here for a dinner date for our anniversary and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. We were there around 7:30 on Friday so things were lively but not too loud. Atmosphere was nice with the doors open and street side eating. The food and desert were delicious and we definitely plan to come back again!
3 of us all enjoyed our dinner choices. Service, atmosphere acceptable.
Great food but service was a little flat.
Great date night spot! Delicious food, cozy Italian restaurant. I want to come back!
Love the service and food.
Great, filling food and great service. Worth another visit
Great experience for the group of 8. We had our own semi private area and a very attentive waiter.
Yummy Italian food. I wish there were more vegetarian options :)
We went for a family dinner. Excellent food, great ambience, feeling the Italian vibe. Fantastic calamari and saltinbocca. Well be back and definitely recommended.
Good service and good food.
First time dining out in a month and we chose here. It didn t disappoint. We tried the Paradiso salad with anchovies to start. Delicious! As I never cook veal, I had the most delicious dish. Great service, happy to see that business is doing well. Latest edit: Went back for dinner with friends late October 2022. I had the special Osso bucco. Oh my, fantastic. Everyones meal was terrific. I had leftover lamb with a large bone that I brought home and made a broth (with bone) and plenty of meat left for a risotto. Fabulous!
The food was great but the design of the restaurant made it almost impossible to hear what the people at our table were saying without yelling. I would try to avoid peak hours here. The hot water in the restroom was also steaming hot and I almost burned myself. They either need a sign or a plumber.
Good food, fair price. Come again
Average food. BAD service. Waiter was rude and told us they don t have apple pay and when we offered to pay by giving him our card details he quickly proceeded to threaten us to call the police out of nowhere(he assumed we re going to dine and dash!). When we confronted him of how rude his behavior is he apologized and came back saying that they DO accept applePay after all! I wonder if that kind of attitude was due to the fact that we re POC. What a shame to have that kind of service in Kirkland!
Made me feel like I was back in Italy! The food is very authentic and the selection was great.
Amazing food, cozy place and kind waiters!
Very reliable Italian restaurant in a fun, walkable Kirkland neighborhood. Traditional dishes, well prepared and presented. Good wine list. Excellent service.
My partner and I were really excited to try this place and were craving Italian. I made reservations and when we got there they seated us in this small room that also had a huge table with a party of 10 sitting there and another two seater table. First, our table was so close to the large table the waiter could hardly get past. Second, it was so loud I could not hear anything other than the party talking very loudly. It makes total sense for the party to be chatting and making noise, but it seemed ridiculous to have two other tables shoved in the same room. Unfortunately, we could not stand the loudness and had to leave before ordering.
Dietary restrictions: Most of the items are cooked with wine. Food
Food and service were of good taste and seasoning. Really liked the freshness of the food. Place was a bit noisy, but not too bad.
