11412 NE 124th St, Kirkland, WA 98034, United States
Generous servings of Lebanese-Mediterranean favorites like shawarmas & kebabs in a low-key setting.
We’ve been coming here for years, but every time we order lately it seems the quality is getting worse each time. There was barely any meat, and whatever little was there, was very bland and hard to chew. There was a LOT of onions, which made our dishes taste like onions. That’s the only flavor we could taste. Not sure if cooks have changed but I really hope it goes back to how it was as we really enjoyed this restaurant for years, but wouldn’t be going back there again.
Oscar is the best! Go see him! He’ll take care of you! Mediterranean Kitchen is falafeling my heart, and their baklava is un-bak-lievable! This place has everything I kebab ask for flavors that are so pita-ful [in the best way possible] and dishes that are always served tzatziking hot and fresh. They actually layered/sandwiched the pita between the soup and plate meal to-go containers. But, let’s get serious about that baklava, layers of flaky, buttery perfection with a honey drizzle that’s perfectly sweetly intoxicating. It’s phyllo so good, I almost cried a syrupy tear! Trust me, once you try it, you'll be bak[lava] for more! Owner saw me taking a photo and proudly commented that, it’s good and homemade! I concur!
Okay, so let’s get some things straight from these past reviews. I was scared of coming here because of the negative reviews saying the kitchen is skimping on meat, too much onions, and quality has gone down. It made me sad because I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and always loved the big portion sizes and food. I came in with a party of 4 and the new manager explained to me that the reviews that were written were people who came on literally the busiest days like Mother’s Day etc where the restaurant was packed. He explained the proteins are proportioned out per order, but if you have 10 orders, they all get mixed in together and when it’s served onto the plate, it’s hard to divide evenly the proteins. I was reassured that there would be plenty of protein for my shawarma. Not only did they come through with quantity size, the food was excellent. Wonderful spices and flavors and not overly heavy. The lentil soup was amazing, garlic dip excellent with the pita and the mezza tray has fresh ingredients and never fails. We finished off with traditional Turkish coffee which had a hint of cardamon in it? It was so refreshing. I can’t give anything less than 5 stars. My husband and I split an entree and STILL had leftovers. So lesson learned? Don’t always believe the reviews. Give this place a try and have a conversation with the manager. I love this place!!!
I got a humus and a gyro sandwich today. Oscar took my order and he was very helpful and was a great guy. The humus was good but they should be using nicer plastic containers for the humus not the cheap ones. My gyro was good. It could have used more sauce so next time I will ask for extra sauce car on the side. The lentil soup was very tasty. The place was clean and I love the Lebanese music. To be honest the place was much better when they first opened but it had been tough on restaurants after Covid.
We drove all the way from Pt Ruston to come check this place out. We were there right when they opened on Father's Day. It's one to have delicious authentic food but to also have great experience with stupendous customer service supercedes everything else. We will definitely come back with our family in tow.
Luke the cashier was the greatest person. I cannot express my gratefulness for him. He took my order and was friendly and helpful. If this man doesn’t get a raise and promotion I don’t know who should. 10 out of 10 Luke I will come here every day from now on due to your customer service. I seriously can’t express how amazing Luke is. Once again 10 out of 10 Luke. I hope things go great for you in life you deserve it. And you definitely deserve a raise and promotion
We ordered the chicken shawarma and combination kebab. They are served with yellow rice and the portions are big. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and grilled nicely. The white sauce on top is very tasty as well. The entrees included a cup of soup, a piece of naan bread and a large scoop of hummus. It was all very good! They also served complimentary self service cucumber water.
Love this place, always getting take out from here! Chicken shawarma plate half rice half salad! Lentil soup is delicious This was my first time getting kebby it was okay a bit soggy please it was in yogurt. Wouldn’t order again! Been coming for years always a good place to get take out! Large portions, flavorful and healthy!
Love coming here, it beats all the gyro shops Ive been to in Kirkland
As a middle eastern guy who takes shawarma seriously like, life or death seriously I walked into this place expecting a chicken shawarma plate. What I got instead was a surprise episode of Mexican Fajitas Gone Wild. Honestly, I was waiting for a mariachi band to pop out. Flavor-wise, let s just say the Middle Eastern part must have gotten lost on a connecting flight. And then there was the hummus. Half a spoon. HALF. I wasn t sure if it was a mistake, an insult, or the world s most confusing riddle. Am I supposed to dip, or just cry? I left confused, culturally disoriented, and still dreaming of real shawarma.
The BEST! My husband and I absolutely love this place! We love the Chicken Shawarma plate
The food quality has been degrading drastically from last few months. They severed normal rice with no flavor. The whole meal felt and looked like very cheap quality ingredients served with no interest in making customers happy
Very good
This place amazing. Super happy I found it. The farmer s dish was incredible. I ll be coming back for sure.
Food is below the average
Always fantastic!! always a treat!!! Thanks for the incredible meals for many years. Thank you soooooo much!!! Food : 5/5 |
Amazing food
Amazing food, good service, cozy place with outdoor seating.
Very good music amazing food and the atmosphere is perfect Parking: They have a lot of open spots it s very good parking Kid-friendliness: They have good music and the waiters are kind and nice. Wheelchair accessibility: There s no stairs which is good and a lot of room for disabled people
We had lunch at the Mediterranean kitchen and it was one of the best meals we had while in the Seattle area. The service was very friendly and fast and everything we ate was simply delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Wish we lived in this area because I would go back there frequently.
Attentive service, food was decent. Theyre still using Styrofoam plateware (Banned in WA state as of July)
Definitely come hungry! You get a ton of food, and it is all so good!!
This is such an excellent restaurant. The Kibby is delicious and has to be ordered. You cant go wrong with the lamb shawarma. The hummus and tahini is unreal. All the meals are hearty, filling, fresh and completely delicious. The lentil soup is a surefire favorite and the mint ice tea is not to be missed.
The best mediterranean food I have eaten! The flavors dances in your mouth, so complex and rich. Highly recommended!
Excellent
They have the most incredible hummus I have ever tasted (& I consider myself picky about my hummus)! The cauliflower on their Mezza plate is Magical I need to figure out their recipe!
We love this restaurant whenever were craving Lebanese food. The flavors are fantastic and the portions always give us multiple meals for very reasonable prices. Most people buy it as take out, but we always eat on site and the service is excellent. Were vegetarians and the menu choices are equally as good as for meat eaters.
Easily the best shish tawook wrap I ve had in the area. Toum (garlic sauce) is just as potent and addicting as it should be. Great friendly service. Thanks guys!
The food was decent, but not a very good meat to rice ratio. You get tons of rice and small pieces of meat. The hummus and yogurt were ok, but very tangy. This was my first time having Kibby, it was ok. The tangy yogurt its sat in was bit over powering. The best tasting item was the soup of the day. It was a soup with lentil beans.
Food was decent for the price with good flavor but the steak and chicken wraps we ordered had barely any meat in it. I couldnt even tell I had meat in mine. Also, it would be better if the wraps were made fresh instead of store bought. Very friendly service which did help the experience. Not the best atmosphere but you dont go there for that.
Dietary restrictions: Halal Food
Great food. Always a smile. Great price. You will smell like garlic the rest of the day but thats ok.
Not really Arabic flavor and too much vinegar.
My dad forced me but great food
Really really good
We have been eating here for over 10 years. Hands down the best Lebanese cuisine on the eastside. Consistent quality and customer service. Typical pricing for take out. We love the Shwarma and salads as well as the Lentil soup! Great Baklava too.
Just love this place - GREAT food - employees are jovial and helpful. Music is a bit loud making conversation difficult but - hey! Youre there to eat! Highly recommend.
The food is incredible. Great selection. Its too bad its in a strip mall but easy parking especially for picking up your take out order. The atmosphere is okay and noticed they are very busy with take out orders. The service was excellent and they were very attentive but next time I will probably order take out. But we will definitely order from them in the very near future. Parking: Stripe mall parking. Kid-friendliness: Very, very casual dining. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps.
When I need a pick-me-up (to have good food that I didnt cook) and some solid leftovers, I go here. The Chicken Shawarma plate is superb - a generous portion of well seasoned and tender chicken, rice, and grilled veggies topped with a tangy, garlicky sauce, with hummus, pita, and a cup of lentil soup that is always delicious. Today I tried the falafel appetizer and nearly lost my mind - I was expecting 2-3 discs of falafel, and I got 3 generously sized falafel on a fresh salad, topped with a hummus and tangy pickled veggies. It was a meal in its own right! Good food, good prices, and welcoming folks. Im sure their other food is good based on my experience with the falafel app, but the Chicken Shawarma Plate will never let you down.
Great food and great service! Large portions and super tasty!
Great food and even greater owners! Got a lamb shawarma that tasted wonderful. Accidentally stayed until closing time and the owner gave us the leftover soup and pita bread from the day. Super generous of them!
Incredible food!
It s like a teriyaki restaurant vibe but with incredible Lebanese food. Heavy garlic. I ll order the chicken shawarma and side of hummus til I die. Easily 2 meals worth of food per entree. Their Bellevue location is more of a cute sit down if that s what you re looking for.
Every time Im anywhere near this place I try to eat there because the food is just so gosh dang awesome, its hard to describe otherwise.
Worst Gyros weve ever had! The meat had no flavor and it was too greasy. Spent almost $50 and had to throw it out!! Its been since April 2023 and Mediterranean Kitchen is still our worst experience!
Been eating here for years, over the last several portions and quality have gone down while prices have steadily increased.
The best around. Consistent for last 10 years, Quality food. Fast service.
This has been a 7-8 year favorite for me. Their plates are great portions for a solid cost, and it has never disappointed. Im a weekly guest and will be back for some more Shish Tawook soon!
Awesome food - tons of it too. Really kind employees
Service and atmosphere here have really gone down a lot since covid. Phone ordering takes forever, I hope the management gets the restaurant on doordash storefront or another easy online ordering method
Small portions, bland food, and not worth the cost.
Everything. Order everything. The lentil soup that s included with meals is delicious, a meal all on its own. The kabob is the shawarma is service is friendly and quick. They didn t even laugh at me when I ordered fattoush w/o pita
Our favorite place for Mediterranean food. The shish tawook is awesome. The lentil soup and Sahara are a must have!
We come here nearly everyday Friday for takeout. Chicken shawarma and the Sahara appetizer. Delicious!
Great food with lovely, generous staff.
Food was decent, and in large quantities. Staff was very good overall.
Insanely delicious food and some of the best customer service around
If I could leave 6 stars I would. The food was delicious and the costumer service was phenomenal. I would highly recommend coming here.
This was some of the best Lebanese food I ve ever had and the workers were incredibly kind.
I have never left a review for a restaurant in my life... ...up until this point, the moment I took my first bite, I instantly knew this would be the first. I feel limited by only having 5 stars available to rate this. If I could I would place 6 stars. When Jesus returns to the earth, and I still walk it, I will be recommending this before he returns to heaven.
Its been over 10 years since Ive been here and it only got better with time. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. My picky eater 8 year old was over the moon with all the flavors from each dish we got. Cant wait to come back into town to eat here again.
Bomb, so good, would eat there everyday.
I ve been going here since I was little and the food never disappoints! Super flavorful(LOTS of garlic).
Rice is so bad, like it is all microwave rice. What a horrible texture.
So good!! Wish they didn t close their location in Lynnwood or we d be going there all the time for lunch!
The food here is delicious! Highly recommended.
Worst food do not go here and waste your money! - pita bread was given in plastic bread bag(green one see photo). Atleast give it in foil or something. Also, pit bread wasnt warm or hot it was just handed over like it was just bought from grocery store - chicken and rice had a very sour taste for some reason and I just couldnt stand it as it was inedible. I have never tasted such sour shish tawook in my life - Fries were soft and garlic sauce which came with it was again very sour. Probably gone bad. Threw away everything and walked out.
Ive been going here for about 8 years now. Its one of my favs for Mediterranean in the area. The lentil soup is really good on those icky Seattle days. And the ambience is really chill so it makes a nice spot to have a lunch date and have a conversation
Honestly okay food. Ive had better. I was honestly really disappointed in how small the shawarma wrap was for 11 bucks. Kind of a joke actually. Finished it in 4 bites.
There peas soup was really salty. And amount of the chicken and rice is not the same
Amazing Veg platter and chicken tigh plate (3rd on their menu of plates). The chicken was so tender, well spiced and thoroughly grilled to perfection. The pita and hummus were also amazing. Definitely coming back to try more.
This is our FAVORITE place to eat! The food is ALWAYS delicious! The staff are always FRIENDLY! We literally leave and look forward to the NEXT TIME! Chicken shawarma and MK fries all day! That white garlic sauce tho #bottleit
Absolutely delicious with very generous portions! We used to go to MK on Queen Anne and are so happy to have found the Kirkland location. We will definitely be back!
Good food. A bit pricey for the value. OK staff.
The lamb shawarma is bomb. The hot sauce is no joke as well. So good!
Ordered veg shawarma and falafel wrap. The food was not that great. Falafel had a bitter after taste. Both of them were too sour. Also falafel wrap was not hot enough. The griddle they used is same for both veg and meat so there was cross contamination too. So pure veggie people beware. Vegetarian options: They use same griddle for veg and meat so cross contamination is obvious.
Mediterranean Kitchens gyro salad is brilliant! The meat is perfectly cooked, salad and vegetables are fresh and provide a wonderful flavor profile, and the garlic sauce is great! Their vegetarian options are excellent as well. My girlfriend and I have been working through them and have loved everyone so far. And everyone that works there is very kind and pleasant to interact with. Enjoy :)
We went here for a family birthday and it was exceptional. The people who work there were so nice. You could not top the service. And the food was all delicious.
Yellow rice is good. Baklawa was good but literally a single bite for $3. Meat in the kebab was okay. The pita bread was literally just a bag of packaged pita I could have bought at the store and it wasnt even that great.
I been going to Mediterranean for 7 years the food always 10/10 friendly staff
Like any typical Mediterranean joint from outside, they have very different items on the menu. I ordered Fool Moudamas and absolutely loved it. Ive never had this dish before and feel instantaneously in love with it. Their lentil soup was also on point with flavor. This is my new go-to if I crave Mediterranean food!! Vegetarian options: Do try the Fool Moudamas
Great service. GREAT good. They are so friendly when you go in, too.
The only thing good was the soup. Falafel wrap was almost inedible. So dry it was hard to swallow every bite. Completely cold like they fried it last week. There were large chunks of raw carrots cut into circles and thrown into the wrap, not pickled or seasoned. I would have given a 1 star if not for the soup.
5 stars, across the board. My mom and I happened to stumble across this place, and I am so glad we did. The food, amazing. It was so good that I went back and tipped extra!!! The service was great, and we were served our food within minutes. Thank you to the staff, we will definitely be back!!
Very good food. Super fast service and the owner is friendly.
Always get take out. Quick service and tasty food
The food was totally inedible and sour We ordered four plates and had to throw away everything
Delicious shawarma at a hole in the wall restaurant in a strip mall. Fast, friendly service and big portions. This is our go-to spot for Lebanese food in the Kirkland area. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and booster seats
I have been eating at this location for almost ten years and its one of my comfort food restaurants. I love this place. Eat the Zahara as an appetizer with extra garlic sauce, I promise it wont disappoint.
A disappointing med kitchen experience. We ordered lamb and chicken shawarma pitas and the portion of lamb was tiny, like 3 small dry pieces, and the flavor was not there compared to the main location in Bellevue, which we love. We were so hungry after, we had another dinner when we got home.
Wow, what a treat. Paired the Kafta Kabob with a Tabouoy for a fresh healthy dinner for two. This was a perfect 5 in my Mediterranean book, wonderfully seasoned with fresh herbs and where also all the sides left little more to ask for. Yummy.
This is the fast casual location for the local chain, Mediterranean Kitchen, where you order at the counter and take a number. The other locations are sit down restaurants. I like to think of Mediterranean Kitchen as serving garlic with sides of meat, vegetables and rice, since everything is full of garlic. We love it. Dont go here before an important meeting or your breath will ruin the meeting. This day my wife had the Algerian Chicken and I had the Beef Shawarma. The soup starter is quite nice, with a pepper kick. The meals also come with pita. We both really enjoyed our lunches and will be back. We had no meetings to worry about.
Love this place! The food is amazing and the people are so kind. Every single thing Ive eaten here has been amazing!
Hole in the wall but the food definitely doesn t disappoint. Order the chicken Shawarma plate. The flavors are incredible! I have ordered chicken shawarma at other places and nothing compares to these guys. When ordering out I will also order Zahara, cauliflower deep fried with their homemade tahini sauce. Amazing!
The taste was fantastic, as usual. But what happened to the chicken in the chicken swarma? There was barely half the amount that we usually get! Parking: Plenty.
One of the best Mediterranean food in the area. One of my family s favorite restaurants
I think they need to do a taste test. The seasonings were nauseating. I had the lamb.
Came here for a quick lunch, it was quick, tasty, and filling. Chicken Shawarma Plate came with pita, soup, and hummus in addition to the rice in the picture. Everything was full of flavor and came to about $17 after tax. Will definitely be coming back! Vegetarian options: Large vegetarian menu
Amazing food! We ve been coming here for the past 5 years, and it s literally been super delicious every time. We typically get take out, and the quite times are accurate & the staff upon pick up is always so friendly! Chicken (or lamb) shwarma platter is my go to and it s usually enough for two meals!
Best food I ve ever had period.
Whoever is working in the kitchen right now on 8/18 at about 6-6:30pm should be cooking all the time here. When I first discovered this place years and years ago the food was perfect. However, over the last 3 years or so, the spanakopita was soggy, the meat was dry and tough, and the veggies were over-spiced (not spicy, but too much of a particular flavor I can t pinpoint). BUT TODAY!!!!! Today was like my first time here again, and the reason why I kept coming back over the years! I am overjoyed! Tender beef shawarma meat, perfectly marinated and cooked; CRISP, delicious spanakopita (the best I ve ever had to this day by the way). Perfectly pickled and grilled veggies, and glorious, well-balanced garlic sauce. Just wonderful. Thank you!
tiniest ever portions, too spicy and it s not authentic Mediterranean kitchen, more like a Taco Bell. Actually Taco Bell is better. Mantente alejado!!!!
Mediterranean Kitchen is a fixture in the northwest. The food is spectacular and it has been a northwest favorite across their Bellevue and Kirkland locations for more than 25+ years.
Reliable and consistent taste. We always get the shawarma plate and shish tawook, the shish tawook was a bit too sour for us but still tasted good.
Always a good experience!
Long time favorite. Must love garlic if you eat here cause they add a LOT! Quick service, nice size meals and great flavor.
Amazing and flavorful food. Theyre always friendly too. I usually get takeout, which is easy to order online. Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian entrees and several vegetarian side dishes. I especially love spanakopita, falafel, and zahara. Parking: Parking depends on how busy the strip mall is.
For years this has been our favorite restaurant, great Mediterranean Kitchen food just as good as their restaurant in Bellevue... Yummy
Delicious!
Great food. They focus on take-out, and do it well. Sometimes I see people dining in.
Ive been ordering food to this place for many years, I placed my online order and stopped by to pick up the food. They always have the food on the counter for customer to pay and pick up, the lady who hands the food to customer, pucked up the food took the bag to the cashier and mentioned my name to cashier to charge my card. I paid and walked with the only bag she brought to the cashier, I went back home (30 minutes drive) I realized half of the food is massing and its 8:30 p.m. there is o way to get back and get the food. I called in and manage started fighting that this was my fault. He was insisting that was my fault, all I had to do was to hang up the phone and have something for dinner. The manager called back the next day morning, and continue fighting and blaming on me, I just did nt know that I have to search the entire the counter and the kitchen for my food when I get there. Horrible customer service, Im ok to eat something else but no more business with some a..h.. like this manager. Sometime is not about money, its just about value, this guy wont deserve to get business.
Kirkland outpost from the larger original in Bellevue. Food is excellent and is a great place for take out. Parking can be busy as the area has been developing fast. Staff is friendly and efficient. Parking: Parking situation depends on the hour of the day.
One my favorite shawarmas around and they have the best garlic sauce! Update: used to be my favorite Mediterraneans but price has gone up while serving sizes have gone down. I ll pay more no problem but loved the amount before. Flavor is nearly the same though.
El Chapo thinks they are always the best!!
I love the food here. The Eggplant Moussaka is my favorite and their recipe is very unique. This restaurant is my goto place for any occasion. Vegetarian options: The Eggplant Moussaka is very tasty and unique.
very nice staff, good food and easy to make 2 meals from a lunch order--unless youre starving.
Unfortunately, They increased the prices but the food quality is not as good anymore. Last time I go here.
Great food
Ordered online and it was ready when promised. Food exceeded my expectations. So delicious.
I love this place and will drive 30 minutes out of my way to come here. I m on a restricted diet and they never disappoint. Highly recommend. Staff is friendly and attentive
I got a lamb shawarma, just got about 3 pieces of lamb
Always amazing. Been there more times than I can count. Make sure you have space in your fridge for leftovers as the portion sizes are really big.
I drive over 1.5 hours for the vegetable shawarma! The spices and quality of food never misses. Consistent quality.
Excellent food.
I have been going here for 20 years and still love it.
I will travel the 3 hrs, via ferry, Or 6.5 hrs just for this food!!! Must get the MK fries; if you know... you know why!!! I am now craving shish tawook pita with extra sauce.... I may need to plan a trip just for this food!!!!
The food was ok, not very fresh
Great Food
Slow and expensive food isn t authentic
Chicken Shawarma is honestly the best. Do yourself a favor and try it out.
Usually great Food. Been ordering here for YEARS. But this time the Spanakopita was Very Salty. Couldn t eat it.
Great food! I came to visit from New Jersey and loved the chicken shawarma plate. Really flavorful and unique flavors and a great quantity and quality for the price!
I would say the food is above average but the lady on the counter was super rude. She told us while ordering you are making no sense and scoffed. At which point I told her that I would like to speak to the manager, who also made no effort to come talk to us about the incident. We have been ordering from this place for several years. But obviously not coming back here purely on their staff being disrespectful and completely unapologetic.
Customer lost. I used to really love this place, but the last few times have been way less than great. Charging $2.50 for such a light sprinkle of feta on a gyro is absolutely ridiculous and the pita is so dry I can barely chew it.
This was one of my favorite places. I order the Lamb shawarma. My plate was nothing but rice and veggies and no meat. I hope this was a one time occurrence, since this is the second time it s happened. I going to pass on ordering in the future. When they do it right this place is great. To many misses lately for me.
Chicken Diablo the best.
So much flavor and so much food! Lamb shawarma & chicken Shawarma
I won t be eating here until they bring back non plastic cutlery and plates. It s so wasteful eating here.
Fast service, but they put too much sauce, spice, etc. on everything
The best Mediterranean food in King County! Whether treating guests or my family, this is consistently my nuumbber one pick for take-out in Kirkland.
I found this little Lebanese gem within walking distance of the Marriott courtyard. Great Shawarma, great taboleh, great falafel. Highly recommend.
Got the chicken plate and it was really good. Lemon rice had a lot of flavor. I even got two meals out of this
I loved the savory soup! The meat portions were very generous and saffron rice delicious! Dietary restrictions: No gluten free bread. We were glad that we could avoid soy here! Parking: Plenty of parking.
Its not that great. The food is below avg. We took two items and meat was very little and mostly filled with onions.
Excellent food
Tasty and flavorful but meat portions are a bit sparse.
Still one of the best chicken shawarmas Ive had, they have been around a long time. Prices are very reasonable and you get plenty when it comes to portion size!
Good food, Unique and flavorful.
We ordered the beef shawarma plate and the gyro salad. The shawarma plate was mostly rice and overly acidic veggies. What little meat there was had some type of clove or fennel seasoning that I didnt care for. The gyro salad was fine, but the texture of the gyro itself was off somehow. The soup that came with the meal was probably the best part.
I ordered the farmers dish with a mint iced tea. I was blown away by the flavor of the chicken and the iced tea. It was one of the best meals I have had in years, hands down. Going to send friends here who are looking for good Mediterranean food. Outstanding
The Chicken Shwarma plate is Amazing to die for. And the vegetarian soup is so good I love this place I take friends from out of town and everyone loves it. During the summer the outside dining is shaded its so nice
Update: there has been a noticeable decrease in quality recently. There is very little meat and any meat is so dry it s nearly inedible. The vegetables are now a soggy mess and the box is 80% rice. It s just not good anymore. ///////////// I try to find reasons to go to Kirkland so I can eat here. The chicken shawarma is delicious and colorful. It can easily feed two. Everything on the menu is delicious and fresh.
Generally speaking, my boyfriend thinks its okay. It smells a little weird.
The Kirkland one is like a kitchen with space. The food is good here. I always get their shawarmas it s loaded with veggies and meat type you choose along with their yellow rice and hummus. For dine in they also give complimentary veg lentil soup which we love to have.
I needed a snack and got a small bowl of lentil soup. It tasted very sweet. There must have been sugar in it. I dont eat sugar. I threw it out.
Always good, my favorite restaurant
Ordered chicken shawarma and fries on Uber-eats and got two containers of only fries. You need to check items before bagging. I paid $26 to have fries for dinner
Chicken Shawarma and grape leaves are great. Wouldn t order the tabbouleh again, it was very dry. Pita is not very good either. But a great takeout Lebanese option!
Great take out! The special garlic sauce is always a crowd pleaser. Love this place.
It has been a long while since my last visit to Mediterranean Kitchen (both Bellevue and Kirkland branch) I have my dinner orders delivered today. Dinner order comes with soup. Food quantity is a bit less but still taste the same. Farmers Dish and Lamb Shish Kabob are my favorites.
Unfortunately food used to be really good here, Not any more. Now it is just average taste, average quality, average portion. It is edible. But thats all Customer service is still ok. But it it could use some improvements. Customers dont feel as welcomed, or as appreciated well enough. That is not the correct way in a Mediterranean kitchen or atmosphere. Now it is like owner is only focused on quantity not quality, and not paying attention to details. 1.He has employees who came from different back ground, and different taste pallets cooking & preparing Mediterranean food. Who really dont know what the real taste should be, they are just copying, and hoping it come out close. 2.Their food taste & look is look alike, and taste alike ,but not real authentic Mediterranean cuisine food flavor 3.Their front sign is even not working properly. 4. The employees here dont look happy, and it shows in their normal simple interactions Clean ,spacious place, lots of seating. Excellent location, easy parking
This is not real Mediterranean food and not the most welcoming atmosphere. The food was average tasting and quality. I tried several different entrees but they all tasted alike. Unfortunately, I wouldn t recommend this restaurant.
Very disappointed with this purchase. Hated it from the start to showing up. The they all spoke Spanish. The guys were fixing the kitchen. The other was making the sandwiches on the counter. My hunch is that they took the meat out of the fridge to serve on cold tough bread. Smother with sour sauces I think to hide the tough meats. Let s hope we don t get sick. Getting yelled at for not saying I wanted wraps; that caused her to have to change the order from entrée. Mind ya, it was high noon. I wanted wraps!!!! Horrible!!! If she s not the owner, it clearly shows. If the health inspector showed up, that kitchen is surely an F-
Delicious! They have wonderful vegetarian options. I got the Veggie Plate. Everything was full of flavor. It came with a lovely soup appetizer which was a nice surprise. I also appreciate that they have cucumber water available. My only request would be a half size portion for lunch, even without the soup, that is a little more economical on the wallet and small stomachs.
Terrible quality. We ordered falafel salad and spinakopita. The falafels were badly undercooked and heavily seasoned with clove/cinnamon or some liquorice spice. The spinakopita was even worse. It was smothered with some white sauce and was served on a bed of rice which was definitely a day old by the oily taste. Really disappointed with the quality!!
Wonderfully diverse flavors, and THE BEST baklava Ive ever had!!
This place used to be amazing.
OurBantinjan - the veggie wrap with egg plant, hummus is out of this world Chicken & lamb Shawarma were amazing. They were full of flavor, tender meat! The kabab combination plate is another delight, it comes with 3 kababs, rice, hummus, pita and soup Vegetarian options: Bantijan wrap is our favorite
Fabulous Mediterranean fare. Unbelievably delicious soup. Wish they stayed open later.
Pretty good gyro, took somewhat longer than I would have expected but worth it for the quality. Didnt taste like cheap greasy food, but was reasonably priced nonetheless. Would definitely come back here.
Food was tasty. Had the chicken shawarma and it was almost like a Mediterranean stir fry. Tasted great but a little different from the normal. Lentil soup was great.
Love this place. I wish they would reopen a place somewhere in Seattle, but I will make the trip over whenever I get a craving for Farmers dish and a bottle of salad dressing.
I have never had better mediterranean food. This was an incredible experience. From the Google photos it seemed sort of fast food but it is not! Not fine dining atmosphere but absolutely top tier food. Farmers Dish has been my favorite order so far. Vegetarian options: Theres a large vegetarian menu! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp directly in from of entrance and premises is very accessible.
Very bad food. There was so much onion in the chicken shawarma plate, could barely find any chicken. The little chicken that was present was burnt.
SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO DOWN THE STREET TO SUPER GYROS FOOD TRUCK. The food @MK was DELICIOUS...2 yrs ago. Heres what I got (and thought) today: Farmers Dish (chicken) & Beef Schwarma: way drier than it would be if I made it. And I dont cook. Hummus/Baklawa: good, but nothing special Pita bread: store bought, previously frozen- reheated so warm (enough to steam up the bag and make the bread wet), not even toasted Bottle of garlic sauce: not a bottle at all... dumped into a Styrofoam container. Iced mint tea: tasty Falafel: quite dry
No GF menu and others weren t good neither. It s like a frozen foods.
Great takeaway Lebanese and Mediterranean food. Especially love the lentil soup!
Horrible food, Pathetic hospitality and equality bad ambience. We have ordered for shwarma pita wraps the meat was not at all fresh, half cooked and pita was hard to chew.We have liked Mediterranean cuisine so far but never had such a bad food in any of the restaurants.
