Brightly colored restaurant offers traditional Mexican eats such as stuffed peppers & burritos.
This is an authentic Mexican restaurant with a unique, laid-back interior design. The food and service are solid, though nothing out of the ordinary. It's definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere alone.
Several friends and I ate lunch here after exploring the Seattle Premium Outlets. We Googled nearby Mexican restaurants, this was close. Despite the mixed reviews, we gave it a shot! We came on a Monday at 1:30pm for dine-in, it wasn’t too busy. We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated at a booth. Atmosphere, 4/5: spacious, bright colors, good natural light, music wasn’t too loud, and the food smelled delicious. As an added bonus, the dining area and washrooms were very clean! Service 5/5: our server had great energy, brought chips and salsa right away and refilled chips before we ran out. He was eager to please and happily accommodated dietary restrictions. Food 2.5/5: our food arrived accurately, quickly, and hot. I got a Veggie Burrito, it was subpar, but the bigger issue was the excessive salt. I chugged water while at the restaurant and drank two bottles of water on the drive home. I thought it was just me until my friend remarked how thirsty she was. Another friend got Beef or Pork Tacos, he said they were ok, but remarked on the saltiness. Prices weren’t great. My burrito was $20, didn’t come with beans and rice, and they charged an additional $1.50 for a dollop of sour cream. Overall, 3/5: seats were comfy and the booth gave some privacy. We were all pleased with the service! Unfortunately, the negatives… I’ve eaten at many Mexican restaurants from Bellingham through Seattle, but due to the high-salt, and having paid less for better food (IMO) at several other places, for those reasons, I don’t intend to return. I hate to say that since the service and atmosphere are great, but I have to be honest about the food.
I ordered fajita burrito and it was perfect. The rice and the chicken was cooked and spiced right. The burrito has melted cheese on it. I loved the burrito. I highly recommend this place.
Food was delicious and fresh. A popular Mexican restaurant; flavorful and authentic dishes. We liked enchiladas, carne asada, and chiles rellenos. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options, and their menu highlights traditional Mexican cuisine. A great spot for a delicious and satisfying meal! Restaurant would feel welcoming with candles and refreshing fragrance.
I went here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We were seated right away and were served chips and salsa. They have a lot of tables and they are placed spaciously. We ordered a large combo of 3 enchiladas, they were flexible to make it 2 chicken and 1 cheese. The food was great. We got a spicy mango margarita and horchata. Horchata was a little bland to my taste but the margarita was delicious.
Delicious, amazing, perfect, soul food. Conveniently located to satisfy your craving of Mexican food. Huge portions, very well cooked meat and tasty delicatessen. Great servers, doing everything for your evening and comfort.
While searching for Mexican restaurants on Google Maps, we stumbled upon this gem. The place was full of customers on a Friday night, and parking was initially a bit of a challenge. However, the restaurant staff informed us that local businesses in the area allow their parking spots to be used by restaurant patrons at night, recognizing the limited space. This made finding a spot much easier in the end. Every dish we tried was outstanding, from the complimentary chips and salsa to the fajita, carne asada burrito, and chicken quesadilla. We especially enjoyed the friendly and welcoming staff, which made our dining experience even more delightful. We are definitely planning to return to this restaurant for more pleasant experiences. Thank you for your exceptional service!
I always have a pleasant time here. Food is extra good. Every dish has been excellent
Stopped in for lunch with some business associates. Service was amazing. Food was great.
Great family place. Really friendly with great food. Turning into one of our regular dinner spots.
Excellent, family operated, neighborhood business. The perfect place to enjoy a comfortable meal while building tradition and memories with family and friends. The staff is friendly and most of them have been there for years and even decades.
Ive been eating here for more than ten years ago and its a neighborhood gem. I grew up eating texmex in Texas and this place really brings me back! The booths, the music, the chips and salsa. Its on the mild side, so if you want things properly spiced youll have to ask, but its a solid place and the whole family loves it. Kid-friendliness: They do have high chairs and a kids menu
Great food, service, and price.
Great mexican food. we had margarita which was fancy but too sweet for me. Food was great we had fajita, enchiladas which were great(amount and taste)
Nice location with good parking. Busy, but not overly crowded. The food was solid, perhaps a bit understated. Salsa was quite bland.
After eating here for the firs t time, my husband and I both got extremely sick with a bad case of gastritis that lasted 3 days. The food wasn t good and overpriced. My side salad, off the menu, was almost $10 for lettuce and a bowl of ranch dressing. The meat on my husbands street tacos was overcooked and tiny. Looked like little pieces of beef jerky. We will never return.
I had the tacos al pastor for about $21 or so. Tacos had far more onion and cilantro than meat. There were tiny pieces of diced meat that couldnt even be tasted because of the cilantro. Worst tacos Ive ever had. They should have said they ran out of that meat. The chips are good. Parking: Sunday night was very busy and my friend had to park in a nearby parking lot.
its so yummy Kid-friendliness: very good Food : 5/5 |
Food was out fast. Customer service was great. Did tasted great, and great serving size.
The food is kinda slow to come out but it is good and the prices are kinda chill. You get what you want and it tastes good. I mean, thats pretty much awesome, 4 stars, yeah?
No bar, food was cold, and with no flavor. Im not going back.
Perfect family restaurant
Great food . Service was awesome and was immediate.
Excellent service and street tacos. Definitely worth a stop in.
Food was pretty good, overall the enchiladas were good, chicken in them was really dry. Sauces, rice/beans good, chips/salsa good. Marg, good. Service was great!!!
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I ordered the fajitas and they were not good. I don t understand why this place has such high ratings when they are their signature item. I m originally from Texas and this place doesn t compare. Also beware of hidden charges. I was only given 3 tortillas then was charged extra without being told when I requested more
the best mexican restaraunt ive ever been to, and its not even a contest. my favorite spot
It was so loud sitting in the middle of the dining room instead of a booth. We couldnt even have a conversation.
I love this place - great food; such a nice atmosphere and friendly people!
Weve been coming to this restaurant for years. Weve tried a lot of Mexican restaurants but this is our favorite. The service is consistently great and the food is too.
Been going here for over a decade getting the same thing (carne asada) and it s always a hit or miss. It s usually better if you get it in the restaurant, but the takeout is horrendous. I just ordered a carne asada medium rare and it s so undercooked, slimy and chewy that I couldn t finished it. A real shame. Service is always 10/10 tho.
Bland Mexican for the older crowd. Theyre great but theyre also average. Nothing stands out, nothing is particularly tasty. Bevs are quite expensive, and nobody asked to refill my coke.
Food is okay and bland. Service was good and fast.
Food tastes fresh and homemade. Large servings will fill you up with some left over!
one of the best mexican restaurants i ve been to. chips arrived within a minute of taking the seat. wonderful service and the best enchiladas i ve had. Food : 5/5
Highly recommend. Server was great.. I love spicy & he helped me get what I wanted.. Food
Beautiful place, excellent food and top-notch service!!
I ordered a combo #20 with chicken. Only 1 item had chicken. The rest had ground beef. The waiter said I had to state I wanted all 3 items with chicken. Very unusual.
I ordered some fish tacos, but they actually sold me a tortilla with cilantro and onion, a very bad experience.
Terrific casual Mexican place. Good food, good prices, pleasant atmosphere. Great place to relax with friends and family. Want to come back and try the street tacos.
Great food and great people working there. Never disappointed!
Neighborhood gem! Great food and fantastic service!!
Family business that we have been going to for over 40 years. Classic food, great service, warm atmosphere. Can accommodate groups of 10. With more better to call ahead to get a reservation. Vegetarian options: Can modify meals. Dietary restrictions: Celiac - Will substitute Burrito Sauce for Enchilada Sauce so you can enjoy those again! Also, an educated staff. If the waiter doesnt know, they will check with the kitchen for you. Parking: Limited. Can get full, especially on weekends. With large groups recommend carpooling. Kid-friendliness: Good for kids. But not a place to let them run around. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
The best Mexican restaurant I ve ever been in. Service is amazing we just sat at the table and our server brought salsa with tacos. Cocktails(we choose margaritas and mojito) were great as all food that we ordered. The atmosphere was awesome it s like when you come to your friend s house to spend some time and to eat. I highly recommend this place and 100% sure that we ll return there soon.
Parking: Very odd parking lot, small and difficult to get in and out of. Food
EXCELLENT!
Awesome choices
Great food..Been coming here for years. Margaritas are great also! Food
Exquisite food And if you place orders They dont take long Unless they are missing something But everything is fine
Better this time around!!! Old: Flavors were okay, but my fajitas were 75% onions and pepper and the margarita was just okay. All for almost $50!
Classic neighborhood joint. Noisy, friendly, and excellent food. Kid-friendliness: Short kids menu is excellent and theyre incredibly friendly with the little ones. Food : 5/5 |
I like the food here. Go with my mom for lunch occasionally. On our recent visit the service was not good. Server seemed like he was mad that we were there, didnt come back to make sure our food was satisfactory. Dont know that will return since do not feel very welcome at this restaurant.....
The best!
Quick service and great food.
I had the chicken enchiladas with crema, the chicken couldve been seasoned more, but that is literally my only complaint. The margarita, the crema, the beans and rice, the chips and salsa, the sopapillas .... All delicious. Our waiter was amazing and as soon as a dish was done someone was there to take it away. Great service!
When a simple carne asada burrito cost $23.95 and a $12 tostada somethings wrong no wonder they didnt want to put the price for the burrito on the menu it explains why nobody Hispanic was eating there
Good food! Great, friendly people
Amazing food and service as always.
Fast and yummy authentic mexican cuisine.
Exceptional service, delicious food.
Good food, great service
This is the best place to eat and meet friends. They have great food and their staff is superior
Best in the NW!! The Steak Buritto here is my favorite and the enchiladas are great. Always a must stop.
Friendly staff and amazing food!
Great food great staff who really care.
Amazing food, always delivers, love the hospitality too
Nice family restaurant. Good food and drinks.
Great atmosphere in a family friendly place for excellent Mexican food. The salsa is one of the best in the area, and the chili relleno is phenomenal, not to mention the margaritas that are dangerously good. From the host, to the waiters and bussers, everyone went above and beyond with friendly service.
Mind-blowing mexican food in greater Seattle area
Great Food as usual
So if youre looking for American Mexican food this is the spot. I think the workers have all been there forever So they know what theyre doing the food Its fresh And thanks to the pandemic you can get margaritas to go thank you coronavirus
I cant say enough great things about Tres. The food is awesome and the staff is like family. We LOVE going there as often as we can.
Fantastic staff, delicious food and a great atmosphere! I highly recommend stopping by though be mindful that parking is limited. Dietary restrictions: Knowledgeable staff can help you find items to fit your dietary restrictions.
Great lunch experience. Food, service was as great as it was several years ago when I was last here
Tres Hermanos always delivers--its simply excellent!
Food and service were good, one thing it needs to be addressed is, The restaurant needs some love, there are a few spider webs on the ceilings which makes it not attractive. Other than that everything is OK
The food is always good The people who work there are always there to make your lunch or dinner a special time. Thank you for be a great place to eat. David
Our first time trying this place out, and we loved it. The food and service were excellent. We will be coming back.
Parking: They have a lot, but it fills up quickly at dinner and there is no street parking. It is worth doing a couple of loops around the block to try and wait for a space. Kid-friendliness: Its a family restaurant. Expect kids to be there. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the ground floor and you can put a wheelchair at a table.
great food and reasonable
Really great food and friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend trying the Chimichangas de Manzanas (though I prefer to call the de Mañanas, the Chimichangas of Tomorrow!!!) After Banditos closed, I couldnt find them anywhere and it was super sad. These guys have them though and theyre SOOOO good!!
Good food, large portions, friendly and attentive staff. Were fans!
I had the burrito Hermanos and it was amazing. I asked for no cheese on it and a side of queso and I was thrilled to find out the queso came in its own little hot cast iron skillet with a scoop of fresh diced tomatoes on it. It was so much more authentic hot and creamy cheese than I hoped for. Everyone elses meals looked really good, but I was so thrilled with the flavors on my plate that I didnt really look over theres.
Great, Good, Excellent.!!..
Nice for lazy weekend brunch...loved it .. will go again sometime soon.
Place was busy for lunch but was served quickly and food arrived quickly.
Stopped by for street tacos. They were great!
Very good food, authentic place
The food is good, the service is good and the atmosphere is relaxed. All at a moderate price. Cant ask for much more.
Wonderful atmosphere, attentive staff, and the dinner was fabulous!
Mexican food with a decent price. My recommendation is the taco salad, not oily and delicious shell.
Went for some food after work expecting to pay at most 50 dollars for two drinks two burritos and two ice creams ended up paying almost 80 for a burrito with no meat filled of only beans and rice , a ice cream that tasted so bad and the horchata with no flavor, I also asked for large drinks gave me 16 oz cups full of ice that cost me almost 10 dollars , not worth it
Made my margarita perfect
Great food!
Good Mexican food. And I should know. I am visiting from Texas
Sandra was our server. Sharp, friendly, and hard working. She gave us flawless service along with all the other customers she was helping. Food was awesome as usual! This place has incredible history. Has been there for a very long time and the food only gets better. Go check it out, you wont regret it. Ask for Sandra!!!
Very friendly and attentive staff.
Best Mexican Food Ever. Best Service Ever. Seriously, this place has no equal anywhere on the Eastside, and I only limit it there because I havent technically tried ever Mexican place in Seattle... but Tres Hermans is better than any of the ones I have tried. Seriously, treat yourself. Affordable too!
More on the higher quality end of Mexican food. Steak Tacos are awesome!
The food and service was exceptional, however the seats were very uncomfortable in the booth. The tables are not very big, and with 4 peoole eating made for very cramped quarters Parking: Parking is tricky as the restaurant is on a busy 4 lane street. Also, parking is tight even with a small car.
Love this place!
Have been visiting this place for 3 years now and never went wrong with the choice. Great staff who are courteous and don t judge you, good balance of speed and attention to detail and great price for super tasty food. A go to place for Mexican food with my son and wife.
Tres Hermanos is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with family and friends. The food is great, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is festive. If youre looking for a great Mexican restaurant in Kirkland, Tres Hermanos is the place to go.
We went for a dinner. Good veggie options, big portions, friendly staff. Totally recommend it. Food
Bad food. Just, really bad food
Been going here for years, always great food!
Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian items Kid-friendliness: Booths and a kids menu Food : 5/5 |
Parking: Parking on 2 sides of the building in the restaurants lot. A FEW disabled parking spots close to door. Kid-friendliness: Has child menu.
Consistently decent food, with the kind of service one would expect a Mexican food restaurant. Not oversized, so you may want to call ahead for your big group.
Service was bad food is horrible, The beans were watery ,and the meat has no seasoning but very salty Food
Bad service bad food runny beans very thin small portioned rice not good quality Also mgr said if we wanted any more salsa he would charge us after we revived 4 small ramikin sized salsa very rude wont go back
Bad cooking, expensive, unfriendly. Improper cooking methods... My cheese enchiladas were crusty on the bottom, but the cheese inside wasnt melted. They list chile relleno on their menu with fine print that says its an omelet, and a traditionally cooked chile relleno is an extra charge. Cheese on a bean burrito is an extra charge. Any substitution on a combination plate is an extra charge. Mediocre service. I was never asked if I liked the meal.
Been there many times. Never a bad experience.
We called last minute and they were happy to accommodate our whole soccer team with 35 people. Service was great and the food was delicious. They were organized and very friendly. If you have a large group I highly recommend Tres Hermanos.
I sit here after just finishing an amazing meal. Mind melted by a fabulous margarita, some crisp cerveza and flavorful food. The sounds of relaxing tunes float in one ear and out the other and I know true contentment. Please do your hedonistic soul a favor and come eat at Tres Hermanos. You will know peace.
Food was good, service was fast, and I particularly liked the beans.
Loud parents dont know how to raise kids to be polite and have manners when theyre out screaming yelling throwing stuff three tables all around three older people.
Delicious, they are always on point. Started with the bean dip with chips/salsa which were so good. The peach margarita was perfect. Cant wait to go back!
Always a great time. Excellent food and much better prices than cactus. Great staff as well! It is much more family restaurant atmosphere, but does not skimp on quality.
Great food and service. Very crowded which tells me they are good
Our favorite Mexican restaurant! The chicken fajitas are the best thing on their menu. The staff is incredibly friendly and warm. Perfect hometown spot.
Always great
Pretty good. I come from California and this is the closest to home food I can recall. The refried beans are a little watery for my taste but still good. I recommend the al pastor tacos. Their michelada is also quite good
Stopped for a quick afternoon snack. Super quick. Hot tasty food. Would definitely stop again.
Okay, well, lets see, were going to do one thing, Im not used to doing that, but this time Im going to do it. I went to eat at a three brothers restaurant and from the start the boy, who gave me very bad service, later I asked him for an opinion. He was rude. So I dont know whats up with those people, if they dont like the job, dont let them look for a job where they like it and enjoy it.
Delicious flavors, what I expect from a Mexican restaurant.
Great food and service
Best Mexican food around! I recommend their Birria tacos or combo plate.
Great service and very nice atmosphere
This restaurant is probably one of the strangest Mexican restaurants I have been to. I m not sure if I was blinded by my hunger or if the appetizer was just really good. Once we finished our super nacho we were expecting a lot from our entrees. I got the large combo #21 that came with an enchilada, taco, and a tamale. First the taco was hard shell and only contained the protein of choice. Very salty and almost flavorless. I could compare it to a Taco Bell hard shell taco. I would actually prefer the Taco Bell taco. The tamale literally tasted the same as a Costco tamale and was served with some sweet brown sauce that had a strong flavor of Dr.pepper. This was really unappetizing and I had to force feed myself. Lastly the enchilada was disappointing as well. Maybe they shipped and froze Taco Bell items and just served with a 2x price tag. This place is not recommended if you want a good authentic Mexican cuisine experience. At least the food we ordered. Just don t order the large combo.
Solid Mexican food! Occasionally stop in for a takeaway lunch with coworkers. Theres always enough salsa and chips, and the food is always good. Hand-mashed style refried beans, good rice thats not overcooked. Today, I had chorizo con huevos that was done the traditional way (sausage tossed in scrambled egg and fried until cooked through so that the egg coats the crumbled sausage) and it was DELICIOUS. next time Ill try a spicier dish though.
So tasty and great portion
This has been my favorite place for Mexican food for years! Great food, great service!
We love this place and come in or get takeout all the time!
My family has been eating there for decades. The food and service is always great!
i love it here. I will always come back. Love the enchiladas suizas and their combos.
I cant eat here, nothing gluten-free or safe to eat if it was by the looks of it. My co- workers ate lunch here and thats why I went. I had a cup of coffee only. The food came out so fast that it looked like it was warmed in a microwave. The place had dated decor and was very worn with lots of obvious wear and tear. Not very clean, honestly I would not eat the food even if I could- definitely not fresh.
Always good and reliable.
Food is great, at a reasonable prices, good portion sizes and the service is very good.
Super fast Super friendly Tasty food Food : 5/5
Customer service was great and speedy. We really liked Margaritas! However the taste of food was very disappointing. It s ok to visit once, but we won t return to this restaurant again.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!! The Cadillac Margaritas are soooo good.
Very Loud! Limited parking.
I love you guys. My family has been to Tres Hermanos more times than I cant count...more than 25 years and we still love going EVERY TIME. We live way up north and still find a reason to visit as often as we can. To us it is perfection. Thank you guys for making us feel like family!
Very nice!! :)
The only restaurant we have found in PNW that had cheese crisp. Service and food are very good, and we have added this restaurant to our favorites list.
Food was good. I had the Enchiladas Mexicanas. It was okay. The chips on the table were fresh and crispy. Drinks were good. Staff was nice and attentive.
Great food , family fun , and good service. Drinks are expensive@!
Nice moment between friends. Very good Margarita
Pleasantly surprised with superb service. Absolutely great team, so welcoming! Service is fast, food is good, vibe is relaxing and cheerful. One of these places that you want to visit again for sure.
Weve lived in Kirkland 21 years and have eaten at all the nearby Mexican restaurants - Tres Hermanos is the best. The service is consistently good, friendly as is the food. Never disappointed in anything from the chips and salsa to the margaritas and enchiladas. Reliable in every way! If you like HOT sauce ask for the homemade stuff they keep in back. :-)
Solid Mexican restaurant. The portions are huge. I got the nachos and I could only finish half of it and you et extra chips.
Great, friendly service from beginning to end. Food was good. Both was a little uncomfortable to sit at, but all in all a good place. Well go again.
Good Mexican restaurant. Service is great: fast and efficient. Food is typical American-Mexican; fine but nothing outstanding. Prices seem a little high, but everything has become more expensive, so not really sure on that. Parking: Parking out front and on the side.
angry staff ! very long wait ! ok food.
Tres Hermanos has been one of our favorite Mexican restaurants since we discovered their old, now closed, location in Bellevue Square in the 90s. Me and my wife enjoyed many lunches there back in the day. Their current location in Rose Hill does not disappoint. From the service to the food and the ambiance, Tres Hermanos delivers consistently every time. Some of our favorites are the Mole Enchiladas and steak Fajitas.
Amazing service, very nice and friendly servers. I love going here every Friday for a margarita and Albondigas Soup. I love that they have Casa Migos tequila, which makes peach margarita even better. Will strongly recommend this place. Update : it absolute gets better every time I go there. Staff is beyond amazing, and very very friendly. Thank you to all of you at Tres Hermanos !
Food was excellent...
