Build Your Own Hawaiian Fusion Poke Bowls served in a quick and thoughtful way, with a full selection of snacks, sides and hand-crafted Acai Bowls for a healthy twist on dessert.
Nice place, a little bit dirty, but I really like their poke.
I never leave reviews but it was so bad I had to. The portion was ridiculous… literally 2 little spoons of tuna/salmon was given. I finished the proteins in one bite. It used to not be like this. I spent less in other places for a way larger portion. I’m having my card company reverse the charge, I felt like I got robbed. Not eating here ever again. And I suggest others who plan to come here to go elsewhere until they fix this.
I've been going to various Just Pokés for years, and overall, my experience has been pleasant. However, tonight was kind of gross. The toppings were all well and good, maybe the ginger was almost icey with how cold it was, but that's fine. But the rice was nearly inedible. Half of it was mushy, the other half was crunchy. I can't give it 1 star because the toppings were good enough that I still (against my better judgment) ate it all. But I am disappointed :( Also please bring back pickled daikon. The turmeric just doesn't hit the same.
Today was my last time in this place. what a disappointment! When Just Poke opened a few years ago, I used to go there at least once a week. The bowls were big and well-served. It was the best poke place in all of greater Seattle. As time went by, I started to notice a significant difference in the sizes portion, and I stopped going there. After many months, today I was passing by and decided to get a bowl for lunch, and that was definitely my last time at Just Poke. Even the amount of rice has decreased significantly. The amount of crispy tempura made me laugh. Conclusion: this place, which was once my favorite, is now among the worst. The quality and size of the portions are embarrassing.
I ordered for delivery a few months ago and when I got the food I wasn’t really happy with it but wrote it off as maybe it was just because it was for delivery that it wasn’t fresh or good tasting so I decided to come in person this time. I should have trusted the first failed attempt at getting food from this place. I tried to order a make your own bowl and it took me 4+ times of pointing at the giant sign for them to realize I wanted to pick my own contents, throughout picking everything I had to repeat myself multiple times. The fish looked not great and were just in bulk metal bins for them to use an ice cream scoop to scoop it on. Finally when I paid for my extremely over priced $20 bowl and was able to eat it I noticed it had very little flavor and not a lot of meat for the price. After eating I got extremely bad stomach pain. I will not be trying a third time and I definitely do not recommend this place. Way over priced and food will possibly give you stomach issues.
Disclaimer: I prefer to be vegetarian. So this review may not be applicable to you. The tofu was very cold, and some pieces partially frozen. All other ingredients were fresh and good. But the teeth grindingly cold tofu made for a less than satisfying meal. Tables are self-clean before you sit down. No added condiments for oomph at the table.
Great place for a fresh meal with lotsa veggies and flavors. You can order a set bowl and customize to your own preferences, or build from scratch. Salad, rice, and zoodle options for the base. Lots of gluten-free and vegetarian friendly choices. I made a tofu salad bowl with the garlic aioli sauce and would order again. 👍🏻
Yum! I had poke before and to be honest I wasn’t too crazy about it. I think it’s just preference and because I don’t like my raw fish to be cut too large. This place had nice bite sized pieces that were great. This place was perfect for me! Their options are absolutely delicious. It was my second time eating poke and the staff were really helpful. Their crunchy onion and crunchy tempura add a nice finishing touch.
One of the best poke places!!!
Such a pleasant experience! Great food, and amazing staff.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free Food
I eat here quite often. Its convenient, fast, and tasty.
This just poke location has a really good location, and the poke is fine, solid pick if you are in kirkland
Delicious poke for a great price, staff was super knowledgeable about gluten free options and very friendly and helpful! Dietary restrictions: All dietary restrictions were clearly marked on the sauce menu, staff was very knowledgable about which things were gluten free and made sure to keep gluten items away from our food
Fresh poke! Delicious food. I ll definitely come back.
It was pretty good, like all Just Pokes. Its not my favorite poke but its very good for the craving.
Its in the name - Just Poke. Not bad and not spectacular either, just fine for a poke bowl craving. The selection is varied - plenty to choose from. The problem I had was with the wait. Their food service is not time managed efficiently. It took 25 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out with my poke bowl. Our group of 3 were 4th in line when we walked in. There were 5 staff working the line and at one point all 5 were putting together online orders and ignoring the walk ins. My 2 friends were in front of me - after they ordered - a few online orders came up - so I waited 10 more minutes at the front of the line before I was asked what Id like to order (while my 2 friends had to wait 15 more minutes for me). I should have just ordered online instead!!!!
I really enjoyed my custom bowl. Fish was super fresh and tasty! Would definitely come back!!
Just awesome
A delisious dish of fish. Who could ask for more. Love it.
This food is decent but, I have ordered from this place multiple times via Uber eats, and unfortunately every single time I order I am missing multiple things in my order. They also charge for every little add-on. I paid $16 + fees and only received rice, salmon, onion and edamame. No seasoning or sauce. Not sure why I even tried to order from here again
Fish and seaweed salad are both fresh and delicious. But the rice was too hot, by the time I got home with my takeout order, the tuna was way too warm, basically cooked by the rice. Also, the rice didnt taste seasoned with vinegar, seemed a bit too starchy. Staff were friendly though.
Better quality fish than at some sushi restaurants. Dietary restrictions: good for keto/paleo/low-carb: get spring greens instead of rice
Removed one star as not good value anymore due to price going up, smaller portions (due to smaller containers), about $15 a pop before tax. 4 stars because still the best tasting poke around. No table service but will flash tipping options on check out. Saw some posters in restaurant encouraging people to eat sustainable seafood but I didnt even see separate trash cans for compost, recycling! (this was on 2/10/23) Hope to see some changes next time there. Vegetarian options: Tofu and imitation meat available Parking: Roadside parking Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessable
I ordered crunchy onion and got sweet onion which I hate the most among all food.
The Furikake Chex mix is outstanding, magnificent, delightful, delicious, amazingness! All the stars! The poke bowl was meh. While the tuna, seaweed and seasoning were fresh and tasty, the sushi rice was mush. It was overcooked and the grains broke up as soon as they were touched. If they fix the rice, then this would be a 5 star restaurant.
Vegetarian options: Had vegetarian options Recommended dishes
The female server a bit rude, maybe she have problem at that time. The taste not so great too, for emergency when hungry could be the option.
I love poke and this place tastes really good. However, both my boyfriend and I had food poisoning after eating there last night.
Pick up order, delish as always.
I stopped eating because there were two pieces of bone in the torched salmon, which is the first time I have ever found fish bones in a Poké bowl. Update: The store manager reached out and offered refund.
A bit pricey for what it is but pretty good to normal for chain poke.
Friend staff
Is good but the portion keeps getting smaller and smaller like the protein, you get like 5 cubes piece of salmon, its time to see other places
Salad
It looked very beautiful, but it is not a garbage fired one that had everything and gave me this misery. I give them a zero or a star
Fresh food is always a good choice!
Eh, not the worst but not the best poki place Ive ate at, but its the only one in walking distance in Kirkland. Staff was friendly, food was not bad at all, but it feels lacking somehow. All n all, its hits that cravings spot since its the only one in downtown Kirkland. Also, to note if they take any recommendations, I highly recommend they consider fried salmon skin as a toping with eel sauce but thats just my taste buds.
Good sized portion, they have started weighing their proteins, so it is now very consistent.
It is really fresh and tasty
My online order was missing all the toppings, reached out to their support and didn t get any response. Terrible service.
They charge a $3 delivery fee and also raise the prices about $2 per bowl when ordering through delivery apps. (that is all a decision made by the store). Highway robbery for what is already a massively overpriced meal. $47.46 for two regular (smaller) sized bowls with no add ons. Ludicrous. Edit for reply: You are absolutely dishonest. The only convenience you are offering for the raised prices is the convenience to yourselves. No it does not go to the driver. You are deliberately trying to confuse people into thinking Im talking about fees when you know Im not.
I still enjoy the food, but had to reduce from five stars to four stars. Unfortunately the mochi has become inedible. I miss the old mochi they had. Im assuming its a cost issue. Customer service is hit or miss, but thats everywhere. Follow up - Good to know it was just a bad batch, thank you for the reply. Increased back to 5 stars.
Super calm vibe, Delicious food. Rice was still steaming hot all great.
Food is really fresh and tastes good! Only one think is sketchy regular size bowl and large size bowl after ordering have no difference only the price of course!
Food was fine but the workers were unfriendly.. It also felt kind of dirty inside.
Post Covid , scallop not fresh , reduced portions and increased price. Lack of competition for poke in Kirkland
Consistently delicious poke at a reasonable price!
Poke made how I want it. Yum yum
My favorite poke spot! Always delicious, good serving size, and the Mac salad is bomb!
Stellar poke here. Super fresh ingredients, great seaweed salad and options galore!
Love it!!!
Good for a regular meal.
Yummy, healthy though a bit pricy but it really was good.
Bowl is tiny, and mostly rice. Fish isnt fresh. It had four pieces of salmon. I believe any other poke place around Seattle would be better
The quality of this location has dropped. I have been here multiple times but this time the fish was bland, the rice was soggy and the topping amounts were tiny. I wont be ordering from this one again.
super good food, awful service. employees made me feel like nuisance just for ordering. the attitude of employees was horrid. no one smiled and they glared at me the whole time. i m shocked at how atrocious i was treated. don t think i ll be back at this location.
Expensive but damn good!
The price increases are understandable.. but giving only half scoops of the proteins/fish is just dumb. I didnt come here to buy a bowl of flavored white rice for $18. the few cents you saved by giving half-scoops today will keep me from coming back tomorrow. If you arent making enough money at the price of the bowls why not raise it another dollar, but dont skimp on ingredients.
You dont get what you pay for here.. skimp on protein.. lame
The best people and best dinner
Fast and friendly service; great food. Whole family loves eating here!
I ordered a large bowl to go, when I opened it up at home it was only half full, with a few pieces of fish sprinkled on it.. this place is a total rip off.
Great poke. In the top 3 of Greater Seattle Area in my opinion!
Ordered one large bowl and a regular bowl for delivery from Doordash. Many toppings missing, and less than usual of everything else except the rice! Could have been much better!
Pretty much the perfect poke take-out experience. Super clean, minimalist location, albeit with relatively little seating. The poke is fresh and extremely tasty - there isnt the greatest variety of protein, but what they have never fails to disappoint, and the sides and toppings are numerous and generous. Service is fast and friendly, and everything provided is recycle or compostable (even the plastic lids), which is a nice touch. Its not the cheapest lunch option, with a large bowl around $14 all in, but I think its totally worth it. One of my favorite options for treating myself.
Fresh
My go to poke joint!!! Absolutely yummy!
The food was actually really good and fresh and the bowls are a hearty size and filling.
We were wanting to try a new sushi place for once-a-week dine out treat and tried this one out based on reviews. Was kind of a mistake. - Ordered ahead for a set time and order was still 15 min late - We both got brown rice instead of sushi rice (I like brown rice... but its a poke bowl) - We ordered and paid for spam masubi and got none - I asked for and paid extra for seaweed salad and received none - Both the tuna and salmon were watery and bland Pro - The imitation crab salad was good I dont think well be back.
Excellent poke and service.
Great poke! Pro: Lots of free toppings to choose from and tasted great Con: sizes could have been larger
Very delicious poke restaurant. The fish is fresh and the counters seem clean. The sauces were amazing
The menu on Google doesnt match whats available in store, and no musubi is a major fail. They were better before the virus, so maybe they just need to get back on their game
The salmon was a little to chewy from the albumin I guess. But everything else was tasty.
Yumm
Excellent quality food. Fresh and organic. Excellent service. What is not to like?
Great service, good poke
This place thought me to get my own lunch from home, thanks for that tho.
Good place. Great for walk in
Honestly I love Just poke but in Kirkland location looks like It differs from other places. Serving size is smaller than I usually buy, for example, in Bellevue location. I usually eat enough but in Kirkland location Im not full here
Edit 7/14: Reducing stars because they reached out to me to resolve/solve the problem. They offered me a refund (I did not ask for it) I provided my order number information, and two weeks later nothing. No response, no refund they offered. If youre going to respond to reviews and try and show youre willing to resolve issues, then you better follow through. Otherwise, you make the experience even worse. I love Just Poke but Im going to have to try other locations. The Kirkland location has given me the wrong order when Ive done an online order multiple times, including tonights order. Which means someone else also got the wrong order because it wasnt just missing one or two items in my poke bowl, it was completely different. Well, they got the sushi rice base right disappointed and annoyed.
Quality and flavor are mediocre.
Basically choose what you want, they dont really have much choices on the protein in my opinion. I dont like their seared ahi (tuna)
Poke bowls are awesome! Try combining the house shoyu sauce with the spicy aioli, with avocado it makes the bowl so creamy!
Delicious!
Honestly, this place kind of sucks. The food is good and the employees are nice enough, but in the two years I ve been going here two things have stood out. The first is that they are not reliably open. I cannot tell you how many times I went to factoria with my partner thinking poke sounded great, only to find it closed during business hours. I understand the pandemic has been hard on the industry, but this started even before that. At no point since 2019 have I been able to be sure it would be open prior to going. For a while I tried calling ahead, but no one answers the phone. Second, there seems to be a trend, coming from management I suspect, towards decreasing portion sizes. It is definitely not as generous as it once was. There is a revolving door of new people, and you can see the new ones second guessing the amount of food they re giving you. These two things in particular create a poor customer experience.
Below average poke, the rice and fish was kind of tasteless. Would not recommend!
Just Poke? More like Just Some Fish On Top of Some Rice with Mediocre Sauce and Tiny Portions. If youve been to Hawaii or other legitimate poke joints, youll agree this is a very subpar place.
Good quality service
Pricey but everything tasted fresh!
My favorite place to eat. Always great fresh food.
Fresh ingredients, good portions and service.
The food was fresh and very nice with an awesome variety, the location is great as well
I tried to speak with the owner or manager of this place to leave some constructive criticism. Keep in mind I was trying to be very polite about it all but this guy was so rude and was just yelling and not letting me speak at all. At this point I m more upset about the customer service than the horrible food that I got. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT HORRIBLE FOOD AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE !
This is a very good place in Downtown Kirkland, love to go there whenever possible.
Always fast, clean, delicious. Love coming here for a poke bowl
Great food and a good deal
Yum and fresh
Dow and her team were really helpful and we loved our meal. My 8yo tried a new protein and changed her mind - Dow was great about selling us a scoop of her preferred ahi for a reasonable price! The experience was clean & fresh - well be back!
Fresh, delicious poke
My fiance and I have eaten here many times but today we got food poisoning
I ordered two bowls from Just Poke through delivery and only received one. After reaching out to them, they redelivered to us both bowls again, upgraded them to large and threw in two free drinks. Im amazed at their service despite me being extremely impatient with them. This restaurant have certainly earned my loyalty.
I ordered a large dynamite bowl for takeout. It was 15 dollars and it was an incredibly small portion size for the price. They forgot to give me spicy crab all together. Ive never left a negative review in my life, but this was so disappointing I had to.
I know people get very nervous during the pandemic period, and if the shop owner worry about the health of their employees, they should give them PPE instead of restricting costumers to see the counter. This is a make your own bowl shop, how can customers see what you have if you just keep customers so far away from the counter? Also, it s really hard for customers to order the ingredients if they are so far away from the counter... very hard to communicate and feel so stressful to order food...
First ever poke bowl! Delicious, great flavors, fresh. Person helping us was very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. They do not skimp on the meat! Gave us a bunch of sauces on the side to take home and try for free.
New customer, found the meal delicious and healthy. Great new find!
Absolutely delicious!! Never disappointed when we come here. The food is always fresh, the staff is always nice and this is by far the best quality poke out of anywhere Ive gone!
Great selection and service! I enjoy the location which is close enough to eat by the water.
Fresh and delicious.... it s a bit expensive!
Foods were great but their service wasnt. They didnt even put the food boxes, forks and napkins in the bag. Hopefully they get trained how to treat their customers.
by far the best poke around, fresh fish and good prices with a rewards program
AMAZING
Love it for quick food that can make you fell satisfied. I have tired ordering a head, going in the store and delivery and they always get my order right. Happy eating.
Really great flavor but I ordered on GrubHub and they forgot two of the items in my custom bowl. For the high price Ill order in person next time...
I love the food here! So good! I recommend this place!
Super value. Great service
Super good variety of choices for mixins. Were vegan so having vegan options is very much appreciated.
Big portions, fresh, and great tasting!
BEST POKE EVER! GO HERE ALL THE TIME!
Third location of Just Poke I ve been to and it s great! Probably the best poke in the Seattle area.
Good poke. They even have tofu and sweet potato for vegetarians
Best poke spot Ive found on the Eastside
Great food and service!
Got poke from Uber Eats. The avocado included was not ripe and tasted terrible. Select your ingredients correctly next time. Or learn how to make avocados ripe faster. If you tell me thats impossible, you have just proved my point. You dont know how to work with avocados.
Amazing.
The food is quality and the service is on point. Fast and efficient! Delicious lunch!
Always s good experience when visiting the office. People are always cons and polite to me.
Healthy place. Good location in Kirkland.
Its always great coming in here for a healthy meal. Its clean and great customer service. Its like sushi in a bowl.
Great selection and value
Fresh poke bar and tasty.
Editing my review from a year or so ago, ordered online and it was missing my drink and miso. Tried calling multiple times and no one answered.
Best Poké around! I have recently travelled to San Diego and Portland, Seattle has THE best Poké. I especially like this chain for their toppings and their sauces!
Great food...$$$$
Reasonable place to go for lunch. Affordable sashimi, but the spicy tuna is too spicy for my palette. Really detracts from the quality of the fish.
Good food. And if you want a melon-baller full of wasabi. Say no more!
So fresh! So delicious! High quality raw fish bowls with phenomenal sauces and toppings. You wont find a better poke bowl in this area for this price, speed, or convenience.
Really fast and fresh and tasty. Wish I had one in my town
One of the best rated poke chains in the area. Pick from greens zoodles sushi rice or medicine rice(colored rice red brown black) pick two or three proteins, scallops, ahi, spicy ahi, salmon ect. Lots of sauces, toppings and mixtures! Around 18ish$ quality good for Washington but One Ohno poke in Edmonds had em beat for fish quality. Great for pickup Togo orders!
