Theyre making food with LOVE! Everybody GET IN HERE!!!!

I had the steak sandwich and it was pretty bad. The steak was very tough and chewy and not tender at all, and it was just one slice. I would expect more meat and it to be actually tender, not like one hard piece of leather with grilled onions and tomatoes on soggy bread. The fries were good though, other than that, it was a waste of money and I only had a few bites of the sandwich.

Just two Minorities coming in here to enjoy a bomb sandwich. Place is pretty good not gonna lie.

Been driving by here for years and finally stopped by to grab a sandwich to go. Got the turkey avocado. Service was friendly and quick; the sandwich delicious. Will be back again for sure.

Nicks fries are better than McDonalds and yes I know the weight that statement carries.

Ok, I was hungry and I ordered the Italian sub. It was not what I was expecting but so much better. I dont want to tell you any more about it to spoil the surprise! Treat yourself and try it! Very quick 3pm service also.

These are, hands down, the BEST burritos around. Perfectly grilled, light and flaky tortillas... PERFECT!

I love this place, I have been visiting it for a long time and I have never been disappointed.

They have the best burgers and sandwiches in Washington, and its a reasonable price! One of my coworkers recommended it a long while ago, and Ive been stopping in ever since. Its got a great old-fashioned diner feel, and Nick is always friendly!

This is a secret local gem. They ve been selling burritos here for almost 50 years. The locals here are the best, and we ended up sharing a table with and chatting with other locals. Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian option for their most popular menu item and they go out of their way to make it amazing

Food s great BUT BE WARNED! Closes at 7 actually means 6:45 or earlier, not 6:46 that s too late to the dudes behind the counter cause they SAY THEY want to leave early. Sorry to the owners/mgr s but this is bad customer service from your employees for a loyal customer who just drove 25 min on break on 5/2!

Had the hamburger and tutor tots. I was impressed with the hamburger and the bun choice. The tutor tots were very crispy and tasty. Have options for the tutor tot dipping sauce. Will be back to try the infamous steak burrito. Cant wait.....

This place epitomizes Hole in the Wall with only three tables and maybe 5 stools at the bar. It s quirky and reminiscent of an old diner, but in a space that s pretty small though highly efficient at cranking out orders for dine in, take out, and called in for pick up. If you can get past a need for a plush m, quiet atmosphere, and you appreciate really good food, generous portions, and an owner dedicated to his craft at the grill-you ll love this place. Come in and talk sports, eat some delicious food and walk away with a happy belly.

This is my first time ordering here. I got the turkey avocado sandwich and the grande steak burrito. The turkey avocado was really good, I was surprised. The burrito was like heaven, IT WAS SO GOOD.

First time eating here at a friends suggestion and not only was the food incredible but the guy working(maybe he s Nick, no clue) was the most personable and genuine dude. Excellent food and excellent service.

Food was decent we had a steak burrito and a turkey sandwich for $30 but perhaps not worth the price Inside is kind of rundown and dirty, but the staff were nice enough.

OMG, just realized I never posted the 5 stars Nick s so rightfully deserves!?! Hands down the best burrito I ve ever had. Chicken sandwich is to die for. Same with the burger. And that potato salad, can we talk about the potato salad!?! I would eat here multiple times a week when I lived closer, and think about this place at least weekly. Do your tastebuds a favor and order anything off the menu!

Id definitely try them again. I got the burrito as the sales rep suggested. It was tasty, good portioned, and the beef was really well seasoned. The only thing Id have liked better was if it was wrapped a little tighter.

Every time I ve been here, which is quite a bit, it s been nothing but fantastic. The burritos are incredible and I ve introduced several of my friends to nicks grill, everyone loves it. The owner is very personable and attentive to what s going on (even when it s really busy!) and is a joy to chat with. He very obviously cares about the quality of the food and experience of his guests. Even offered a job to one of my friends on the spot after a short conversation (that he was very tempted to take) and gave another friend a free drink after he noticed my friend give up his chair for someone else. This was months and months ago but I will always remember that particular visit, one of the reasons I keep coming back.

There are burritos, and then there is the Knicks grill burrito. Entirely different planets, with Knicks grill being the one that keeps you up at night planning tomorrows lunch. The use of basmati rice and the perfectly crispy flour tortilla seem like simple concepts but the end result is hands down the tastiest burrito you will ever lay your taste buds on.

Nicks Grill is absolutely legendary. All of their food is fantastic - our favorite is the steak salad, but their burritos and sandwiches are also awesome. The people that run it are the best. Fantastic local spot.

This place was amazing. Came recommended by a friend for a quick lunch spot. Well worth it! Get the Spicy Double Meat Burrito and a side of fries. Will be back when in the area for sure!

Wonderful place, although a bit hard to see, but totally worth a visit. The owner is great, food comes out fast, very friendly. Highly recommend this place! If youre thinking lunch in Kirkland - go to Nicks Grill, you wont be sorry. One word of caution, even regular size burrito is very filling. In fact I shared half with my son.

Great burrito here!!! I loved seeing them make it - they are HUGE!!! This hole in the wall has been around forever and it still rocks out deliciousness without breaking the bank.

This place is a hidden gem. I decided to check this place out yesterday after reading the reviews, and I was not disappointed. Some really cool retro décor. Tried the steak sandwich and it was just so flavorful! You can tell Kiki is passionate about what he does and I respect that!

Cant believe Ive never reviewed this place. Been crushing steak burritos here for 20 plus years. It will change your life and now they have tapatio instead of just tabasco. If you havent gone, go now.

Depends on whos there and if they decided to close early but leave the open light on if its the middle age guy expect 5 star friendly service if its anyone else expect under a 3 star

This review is a long time coming... Been a fan of Nicks since the late 90s. Thie current owner and family are really awesome! Great sandwiches and burritos and awesome sides! Nick s grill serves sandwiches burritos, quesadillas & burgers . Very delicious , they have a few tables inside for seating. It gets pretty crowded during lunchtime. Reasonable prices great food.

Simply the best burrito ever. Get the Grande Steak Spicy(youre welcome) and choose from a variety of bottled beverages to wash it down. The care, quality of ingredients, and freshness are unparalleled. I dont get to go as often as I used to due to moving out of state but I always try to make sure its my first meal whenever I come back to WA. Always. You da man, Kiki!

Huge portions and better quality and services the many other places. Just something worth the money. Cheap and fast. All tough i always do add avocado and bacon and then is not to cheap but worth the upgrade. good luck to this place would love to see it grow and upgrade menu in the future.

Cozy little place with good food. I had a large steak burrito with avocado and enjoyed it. There were beans, rice, steak, cheese, and sauce. The tortilla is served crispy. Its a lot of food and I couldnt quite finish it. Flavor / seasoning was mild, yet enjoyable.

You ve got to try the normal chicken burrito with a side of hot sauce! This is by far the best burrito you can get around the Puget sound area in my opinion. The chicken is always high quality. Nick is also super friendly.

Nicks Grill is the place to go! We went here to try out the sandwiches, as we were in a sandwich mood. Sometimes you need to eat something with veggies to feel fresh, you know? We got a Chicken Sandwich with fries, and a BLT sandwich. The sandwiches were so delicious and freshly made! Even the fries were so crispy and golden. I can definitely see myself coming back for more sandwiches, and to explore their menu!

Found Nick s Grill purely by accident as we were driving through on our way to the Cascades. Best burritos we have ever had! SERIOUSLY, and we have eaten more than we care to admit. Owner/cook was wonderful and you could tell he is truly passionate about preparing high quality great tasting food. EXTREMELY customer minded. Greeted everyone like he had known them for years. We hope to hit this gem of a local spot up again on our way back before heading home to Michigan. Do yourself a favor and stop in if you can. You won t be sorry!!!!!

Seems like a nice local sandwich shop. Personally, I thought the New York strip steak sandwich was ok but not special. Maybe worth checking out if youre in the area but I probably wouldnt go out of my way.

Ok, I was skeptical about best burger on Eastside... But it was amazing. The meat was great, tater tots were good, but the bun was truly perfect. Often overlooked at most places, highly recommended!

Amazing food and amazing staff. Their burrito is grilled on the outside so adds a nice crisp to it, same with their Italian sandwich, super delicious. By far my favorite menu item is their hamburger: make sure to get it with bacon, avocado, and an egg. Its the best burger Ive had on the Eastside.

Gone to this place a few times over the years whenever Im in the neighborhood, and the food is always delicious. Owners is also an awesome guy.

Let me start with the fact that I am a hamburger guy. Everywhere I travel, I try to seek out the best hamburger. Ive had some really good ones... Nicks Basic burger knocked my socks off. I had it with bacon and a fried egg. Truly fantastic! On top of that, the atmosphere is down to earth and super friendly. If you ever wished you had a big brother that could really cook, Nicks is your place. You get amazing food and youll walk away feeling like you just visited a best friend.

The food was fine. I had the regular steak burrito with tater tots and it came out to $20+. Quite over priced, especially considering how it was mostly filled with rice. I had high hopes considering the other reviews but was very disappointed. Maybe a sandwich is the way to go here...

You always want to know those places that people know about.... Well, this is one of THOSE places. The food is so good, homey, hearty, comforty, all those things. Not glamorous, not fancy or healthy but definitely one of those places that you HAVE to go! The burritos are really good, grilled to crispy perfection and sliced down the middle. If you havent gone but were thinking about it, just do it.

A true staple of the community. Nick takes care of anyone who walks in that door and the food is testimony to who he is as a person; Excellent!

Nicks Grill is like the speakeasy of Tex-Mex: incredibly unassuming from the outside, cozy quality on the inside. Expect an amazing burrito while you talk with the chef and watch a scene from Men in Black in the background. Love this place!

The grande sized medium spicy steak burrito was fabulous. It was bigger than my forearm! Tender and flavorful high-quality steak, fresh medium spicy Pico salsa with Jasmin rice and cheese. I ate this for 3 full meals

The food here is awesome! I do not ever write reviews but this place sure deserves one! We got the steak burritos, a chicken supreme salad, and tots and everything was soooo good. The owner clearly cares about quality and flavors. We will definitely be back for more! Customer service was wonderful as well. This place is awesome, the food is great and the spicy is the right kind of spicy(if you want spicy) plenty of options and add ons its a nice small place with a fun home feel almost like youre at your buddys house(sit down relax) I definitely will be back, normally I take my food to go but at this place, you just want to chat (if youre chatty) I stayed talking with the owner, who is very nice and friendly, you definitely dont feel like get your food and get out kind of place, its a very personable feel

The Italian sandwich was awful. Greasy & soggy. Bread was rubbery. Not sure what all the 4.5 stars are about but I obviously ordered the wrong thing. My husband thought the very same thing with his sandwich too. Gross x 2. Was also wondering, because of the 4.5 stars, why they were SO quiet in the middle of lunch hour on a sunny Wednesday. Should have trusted my gut - now I have a gut full of grossness... this too shall pass - and I ll definitely pass on Nicks Grill in the future...

What a find! Looks like a dive but the food is exceptional! Appears that the owner is also the cook and he knows what hes doing. My parents had steak sandwiches (a specialty) and they loved them!! I am vegetarian and the vegetarian burrito was awesome! Everything but the meat in a burrito big enough for 2 meals... and that was the regular size not large! Tater tots were the perfect side with crunchy outside and soft inside. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

The tots were great and generous (think large Mexican nuggets from Taco Time and double it). The burger was a bit soggy but otherwise good.

Chicken sandwich is good, worth coming back too. The cheese is Crispy and the honey mustard give some sweetness and spice. Add sourness from tomatoes, its rich in flavor. The steak burrito is OK, the rice is too dry for my taste. Its spicy.

This place is one of the best hole in the walls Ive ran into. The burritos are pretty massive even when getting a regular size and the flavor profile is on point with their burritos. Even warming it up later tastes amazing. Definitely give it a shot if youre in the area.

What I got was a grilled cheese burger. It reminded me of a backyard cheese burger I had when I was a kid. Ordered at the counter as carry out, 8-12 min drive. Well wrapped, like grandma packed it. Good-sized bun, but almost wearily big. Big enough to make me think, I wish the patty matches the buns. And its almost like 0.6:1.0:0.6 (bread:patty:bread) ratio. Then I noticed how hefty it felt. Reckless to eat with one hand, but one bite short of needing to use both hands. Took a bite, and forgot that theres veggies in a burger. Nice touch, and touche. I found my Bob Belcher surrogate.

Saw a cockroach crawling immediately left the place even though I ordered my food because you pay after you done eating when you dine in.

Always nothing but the best quality of service and food! Kiki is always super cool, even when you show up at 7:29pm and they close at 7:30pm. he doesnt hesitate to turn the grill back on and get you what you want. Just couldnt say enough good things about this place. They are one of my favorite places to eat for both the good service and the great food that never disappoints.

Wow! These guys know how to make amazing burritos. I had a combo, added spicy sauce and sour cream. Num Num. Tots were great as well and there are a number of choices to add to the burritos...even bacon! Definitely will be back for more.

We got the grande chicken burrito which was delicious and pretty grande. Hard for one person to finish, though not enough for two. While we liked it, it can be a bit hard to handle. We also got the steak sandwich, which I liked even better and a side of fries. The fries weren t my favorite, I prefer when they are cut thicker and more crunchy. I noticed that they cut a little hole in the take out box to let the steam out to avoid making the sandwich bread and fries saggy which is always appreciated.

Honestly Ive lived here for 21 years and have always wondered about this place. Its honestly the best kept secret that everyone from town knew about! The house salad dressing is one of a kind and deserves recognition!

Delicious large portions! My chicken grande burrito was fabulous. I ve seldom seen basmati rice being used in a burrito but as an avid rice eater I can attest that it does wonders to a burrito! If you are in the area you should absolutely eat here; way nicer than chipotle!

Nicks Grill was a breath of fresh air. My wife and I were looking for a better place to eat then the average burger joint and Nicks was fantastic.
