2nd time at this restaurant, 1st time was turned off by the ordering system during lunch & left w/o trying it. Clean, inviting environment. Very impersonal, ordering takes place on computer kiosks while employees are in the back making orders. When your order is ready to pickup at the counter an automated voice calls out your order # & name. Was able to say thank you to the person who put my order on the counter before he went back to work on the next. $6 got me a burnt flavored Vietnamese coffee that didnt fill the cup (coffee was about an inch from the top). The caffeine is kicking though, so its got that going for it. I heard the pho is good, but cannot speak on it. I wont be back for a coffee unless I need to stay awake & its the only place open.

I received great service after a miscommunication and the staff went above and beyond to make it right.

Food is not that great and too sweet but just good to have like a fast food instantly in good mood. Too pricey per the food quality so you need to reconsider.

Really yummy vegan pho with tofu! We enjoyed this self-service restaurant where you order from a kiosk and then seat yourself. We liked the French Dip Banh Mi, the combo pho with shrimp and brisket, and the vegan pho. It is a tasty, quick lunch.

This broth just rocked my world. So flavorful (and the good kind of fatty.) Also, $6 off for Pho Mondays! Can t believe I was able to grab pho for $10 in this day and age.

We have had Vinason Pho a few times now and have always had great experiences. We are plant-based and love their vegan Pho and tofu bahn mis! I like their broth so much that I have ordered just the broth when I have an irritated throat! We had been eyeing their totchos for some time now, and tried them while they were half off. We are really happy with them and the portion was generous! Overall reliably good food and value for price! Vegetarian options: Vegan pho and spring rolls and tons of vegetarian options.

I think 18 dollars for tofu pho with veggies is too high. Its 18.5$ for tofu and veggies. You have to choose either tofu or veggies for the $15 price. Theyre wrong about their own menu prices. Downgrading to 1 star

Ordered Vermicelli for the first time ever, was really looking forward to trying this dish for the first time and after I got home I went to mix my salad up only to notice they completely forgot the noodles. Not sure how you just leave out one of the main ingredients in the dish like that. Pretty disappointing and kind of ruined my night to be honest.

Service was fast and friendly, but the pho itself was underwhelming in portion size and taste.

I have a soy allergy so generally have to stay away from Vietnamese (and most other Asian) cuisine sadly, but Vinason has soy-free options that were amazing!!! We ordered the bahn mi and pho . The food came out super fast, and the place is so pretty and cleanly! Will definitely come back & highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: Soy-free options (as well as other allergens) on website!

Mid Bahn mi for $12 is actually insane. Theres a pho place down the street with better food and their Bahn Mis are like half the price. Pho is okay and better bang for the buck. Definitely recommend one of the other pho spots around though.

This place was okay. It wasnt the best Pho but it wasnt bad. The pho tasted buttery and that was kind of weird but I still ate it. The beer wall was the best part. You were able to try all the beers if you wanted to since it went by 0z instead of cups. The price a little more then a normal pho place. I am not sure if I will try this place again

Steak Pho and Lemongrass Banh Mi are both good.

To begin with the kiosk to please an food order was taking very long time and was very laggy. The Pho - The worst Pho I ever had and for sure the worst in the area of 50 miles. The broth was absolutely tasteless. The noodles were very strange as well as the meat, that was mainly missing. The bean sprouts and basil were very dry and not fresh. Cant believe this place exists in this prime location.

This was a nice quick lunch. The vermicelli noodles with beef were good. Centrally located in Kirkland Urban. I ll be back to try the pho, sandwiches, and self-serve beer bar.

Order at the kiosks and get your food pretty quickly. The quantity was good! The noodles are more firm if you like that. Lots of seating and kept pretty clean. Bus your own table. Their cold water is delicious with some lime in it. A bit odd there was no compost. Fun beer options on key fobs.

Noodle bowls taste great. The ingredients taste fresh. Its easy to order through the kiosk. Food comes out fast.

Great pho and egg rolls!

I buy lunch here regularly, mostly the steak bahn mi. Clearly I love it. That said, sometimes when theyre busy less attention is given to the preparation and the sandwich isn t up to their standards. Most recently the bread was one - two days old and was splitting and hard. This isn t usual, and it won t prevent me from returning. But worth noting in hopes they make sure bread is always fresh.

This is a great addition to the Kirkland food scene. The people who work here are kind and helpful, the food is tasty (perhaps a little overpriced but consistent with the area and hopefully this means the employees are paid a livable wage), and the inside is welcoming and comfortable. They have live plants everywhere that look happy and well-cared for! The beer/wine/cider/kombucha is much more than a gimmick, its awesome and while small, offers good variety. I got the shrimp banh mi and the veggie egg rolls, very tasty. I definitely plan on going back to try their vegan pho, it sounds interesting. My only two gripes are mild and have little to do with the food or service we received; the kiosks where you order food alert you too quickly if you are inactive (were talking less than ten seconds of not touching the screen) and they use mostly compostable products but do not offer composting! Just trash and recycling, meaning most of their items just end up in the trash. This is not exclusive to them, I see this all over. Overall, Im pleased and plan on returning to support this business. I ve been to a lot of pho places. I ll start with the good: it was good broth. Fresh looking greens that came with it. This steak I thought might have been mistaken for chicken. I reheated my broth first. After dunking it tasted pretty bad like dying red blood cells. Not at all tasty. The meat was white !! You can see it very well in the photos but it was white. The spring rolls had some type of mold in it in the veggies somehow so that ruined it by my second bite. The peanut sauce was not very good and I m a big peanut sauce person. It was watery with no richness and tasted more like peanut water with soy sauce. So even if I didn t get the mold bite I still didn t like it. I was planning on eating more but it tasted bad and my dog wouldn t eat a bite. I decided I was done. Fourtune noodle house 4th st may become a longer drive for me but they have the best pho I ve tried so far.

I had a great experience here!! Pho is my favorite food and it definitely met my standards and i left very full. The beer wall is a cool touch too!! Sandra helped me out and she was lovely. I will recommend this place to everyone!

Delicious gluten free lemongrass chicken vermicelli salad bowls! I asked for some jalapeños to go with and Fast casual with kiosks for ordering. Would love if they went full gluten free or had gluten free baguettes for Banh mi prepared in a separate area. Sweeter style pho, could be a bit more savory.

I have gotten takeout from here multiple times for lunch and dinner and I ve eaten in restaurant for dinner once. The food is always excellent and ready super fast. Dining in, the beer wall is super fun. There s in door and outdoor seating. I love the tofu banh mi from here and it s my go to takeaway option. I also have had the shrimp spring rolls and they are consistently good. Finally, I love the chicken broth for their pho and will often just order a 12oz serving of that when I want something lighter than like a chicken soup but still want that warming feeling of soup. My friends who I ve eaten here with loved the pork banh mi and pho. Overall, really recommend this place for a quick lunch (I can t believe how speedy they are getting your food ready!) or just any great meal you could desire. Vegetarian options: The tofu is excellent! Parking: It s not free free but you can validate your parking ticket at the restaurant for 4 hours so it basically is free.

Hands down the worst pho Ive ever had - this place is not serving authentic Vietnamese food. The broth was salty (probably too much MSG), noodles soggy, and meat was overcooked & chewy. Theres a different Vietnamese dining experience here than what youre probably used to. You order and pay using a computer screen (and despite this lack of human interaction in the process - the machine still asks you for a tip). They bring out the food to your table in get this, PAPER bowls! Like youre dining in, in a Vietnamese restaurant, and they charge you more than prices at almost any other mom & pop Vietnamese restaurant, but they still cant serve you food in real bowls or use real silverware. The sriracha and hoisin sauce is served using the mini to-go packets and not from bottles like youre probably used to at any other Vietnamese restaurant youve ever been to. After your meal, you have to bus your own table, and dispose of the bowl + utensils in the appropriate bins. Their self-serve beer wall is a cool novelty, but thats just it... a novelty. It was just an overall poor dining experience for me, and there are so many other choices for pho or Vietnamese food around that are more authentic, better tasting, with friendlier human service, and much cheaper. We only came here because a friend recommended it because he knew the owner. Of our party of 6, which included 3 Vietnamese people, 5 of us didn t enjoy it. Will never come back here, and dont recommend at all to anyone, ever.

We only get take away we love their to-go container set up. And DAMN the pho is good. Tasty, rich broth, with quality veggies and proteins! We get pho from them at least twice a week!

Theres some pretty poorly written low star reviews from people who clearly havent used a chopstick before so let me leave an honest bit of info here... Their food is excellent and price is fair. They use single serve recyclable bowls. They arent a restaurant, they are a walk up and order your food establishment. This means you are not served. If youre looking for an actual restaurant, there are plenty in the area. The banh mi bites are interesting and tasty, dont taste like banh mi though. The banh mi is very good! I get it sometimes. The noodle bowls are super delicious and flavorful. I like to get them when Im craving fresh veggies. I get the small 11$ pho bowl and its perfect. Just enough food. They are generous with their noodles. I usually take out half of them and eat them later to help cool down the soup broth and not let the noodles overwhelm the taste of the broth. The broth is some of the tastiest pho broth Ive had, but I always opt for the fatty beef broth. Usually get the steak/brisket. Its a great spot for a quick bite to eat while youre shopping or out and about. Parking is right next door too. The eatery itself has a lot of beautiful windows, and its very pretty inside.

First up, I didnt have the pho. Second up, we live across the street so Im going to give it another go and update this. The banh mi sandwiches that we had were disappointing. The chicken was overcooked and chewy. The spring rolls and egg rolls were both okay. They were also having an off day from a service point of view. With two customers in the restaurant I expect the order to be right - they forgot our spring rolls completely.

I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the broth. Came in with low expectations because of the lack of options on the menu and the hip appearance of the restaurant. A bit pricey for pho with only one meat option but definitely hits the spot if you happen to be in the shopping center.

This place PHO sure is tasty. Their PHO never fails me and their Vietnamese sandwiches are pretty tasty. PHO sure you should try this place for lunch or dinner. I appreciate the cleanliness inside as well as their outdoor tables. Not cheap but what is these days when it comes to eating out? My favorite is the ability to get their vegetarian broth which is so tasty. Their PHO is not sweet which is how I like it.

Excellent. I got the combo (spring roll/pork) vermicelli bowl and a shrimp fresh roll to go and both were some of the best Ive had. The fresh rolls were large and had a good amount of shrimp. The flavor was fresh and nicely herbaceous. The peanut dipping sauce was a good pairing, but I could see the fish sauce doing equally well. The vermicelli bowl is packed and the flavors were perfect. The mix of chopped herbs with the lettuce(as opposed to whole, unchopped over lettuce) was something I hadnt encountered before and it absolutely elevated the experience, letting me get that perfect all inclusive bite. I highly recommend.

The chicken broth for their pho has so much depth of flavor, really impressive. Their pork in the vermicelli bowl has a tangy sweet to it that is super tasty. Definitely will go back

Like the reviews say the ba mi is good. The pho sucks. Very Bland. Small serving size mostly noodle low amount of broth. To get it to go you need to lay 25 cents per condiment . Luckily I got the ba mi which was amazing average size for a 4 dollar above average price. Meat for the pho doesnt look the best either. Also as a few others have mentioned i got a noodle bowl no broth. Personally dont think the broth is salty and sweet just sweet needs salt and some umami

Had the pho, and it was one of the worst Ive had in the Seattle region. Flavorless broth, skimpy ingredients, and overpriced for what it was. Plenty of better Vietnamese places within 10-15 minutes drive, and a few in 5-10 minute walks.

If you want no cilantro, you ask for no cilantro, and you ll get extra cilantro. That s how it rolls here.

Vinason used to be a vibrant and friendly restaurant. The tables are filthy. The chairs are dirty. The bench seating has massive cobwebs. Their beer wall service is lame now. They charge you up front for the beer. Now I cannot just sample the beers as previously advertised. The food is good. Theyve become lazy.

Monday oct 3 5:30pm Pho broth is awesome. Spring shrimp Rolls great. Peanut sauce too runny for me , my GF thinks too Much hoisin but we were overall pleased. Chicken vermicelli bowl GREAT. Vibrant , lots of mint GF loved the vinaigrette. Like the hearty chicken chunks too. Maybe just a touch over cooked ? Sauce though on them very tasty I notice in reviews less responses than say six months ago ? Staff was friendly but seemed either short or being trained which is ok but it felt a little frazzled. I was happy to see a lady in kitchen , and felt confident everything was fresh and as good as it could be. The ordering system is fine. Though two people behind us got their order before us, that can happen maybe but I hope not a mix up? I feel this system creates a choice to tip or not as it s sort of nice cafeteria style and I like that. I don t want to tip until after the experience anyway , but I like the format. That s too bad big metal spoons for PHO were being thrown in recycling, their in lies the rub , self service has drawbacks too. Big spoons for PHO is nice. Anyway overall impressive place , pho broth feels like a lot of 24 hour love. Really tasty.

Good pho, convenient location

Their pho never fails. When infirst came here I was told if it was my first time I got free pho. It was a great experience. I took my cousin here and had a horrible experience. Ir was her first time and she was expecting the same service. I told the cashier that to only get that they randomly give free pho out when someone feels bad. I had a feeling they just thought I was getting free food. I took my cousin out cuz of a bad day and when I was inquiring about the same service I had, she got rejected. it was THE WORST customer service IVE EVER HAD. I left and we ate at a cheaper place that was way better with service. Ill never go back to this vinason, the one in Sammamish has WAY BETTER customer service.

This restaurant offers more of a self-serve model - you order, pick-up and bus your own table. There is no service but of course youre asked to tip (I shouldnt have!!!) Theres also no inside bathroom. This to me is ridiculous and when were restaurants no longer required to have bathrooms??? You have to go outside, up stairs (or find an elevator if stairs are not an option - making this particularly problematic for strollers; those who cannot use stairs, etc. - add to this inclement weather). Food is not served in washable dishes. Everything is garbage; and pricing is too high for whats offered. Flavor is ok, but not great. There was also water on the floor at the base of windows - likely due to condensation - which should have been cleaned up frequently. My friends leather purse got quite wet and leather can be ruined by water. I honestly wouldnt even choose 1 star - very disappointing.

It s a beautiful and clean space, with a ton of windows and a self-serve beer & wine wall. Super helpful and friendly staff. Really quite a step above the Pho experience you re used to, but no pretentiousness of overpriced menu items. This is the first shop in the Urban Plaza I had been itching to try asap, and it s definitely going into my rotation of favorite spots. I m going to be a favorite among friends when I bring them here!!

Tried their Vegan Pho as Ive never seen one on a menu before. Surprisingly flavorful and feel good to eat healthy. I judge phos by the broth and it was packed of flavors. The meatballs are Beyond meats. Very fresh satisfying. Will need to go back and try the steak and beer wall.

Good, wholesome food and pretty simple ingredients with vegetarian/ vegan options. I got the tofu banh mi and spring rolls which were both very good. I like that I was able to get extra of some ingredients in the sandwich without extra cost, and the tofu was flavorful and not bland at all like tofu sometimes is. The sauce for the spring rolls was mostly what gave it flavor; it tasted like a peanut-based sauce. This place definitely seems like a relatively healthy option for eating out.

The broth on the chicken breast pho was slightly sweet and subtle. The noodles were fine, the overall combination was quite enjoyable.

I went for the first time I was looking forward to it. I ordered two steak phos to go. The broth was ok, but the beef didnt look like beef didnt, feel like beef, didnt taste like beef. Not sure what it was. I do know there wasnt very much of it. And it was really really chewy. Im afraid we wont be going back.

First time at this Phö restaurant in Uptown Kirkland and my Husband and I were impressed Their beef broth takes 24-hours to prepare and it definitely reflects when you take your first sip...ummmm good, incredibly good!! They even have KETO noodles (Shiritake Japanese noodles) The food is fast, FRESH, delicious AND healthy. Vinason is NOW our go-to place for exceptional AND healthy phö Photos are: Phö with chicken strips and shiritake noodles in 24-hour-preparation beef broth AND Phö with chicken strips and regular Phö noodles in chicken broth with broccoli and carrots additional veggies And they re so forward-thinking that they have a Self-serve Beer Wall (which actually dispenses beer, cider, wine AND kombucha Wow...lots of choices ) Thank you to the owner and team whom we met for such scrumptious Phö dishes and for this clean, modern, friendly place.

tasting pho and super cool concept! Place is very large modern and clean. Love quality and freshness of the food. Only downside is that they do not have soup spoons. Other than that it was very good.

Im not into writing reviews, but I must say that my experience here compelled me to write one. It was EXCELLENT! To me the establishment and the food have to go hand in hand in order to have a good experience eating out. Sometimes you can eat at a restaurant and have great food but the establishment itself makes you not want to go back, or vise versa, the place could be beautiful but the food taste horrible, and sometimes I just wont go back because of terrible customer service. Those factors make all the difference in the world in order for me to say if I will be going back or not to a restaurant. This place was EXTRAORDINARY!, in the sense that it hit all the marks and some extras like... customer service and prices that I look for in choosing a restaurant, It didnt miss a mark. Food, Customer Service, Clean Restaurant, and Great Prices. We just moved from Florida so Im trying to find new favorite places to dine at. I absolutely loved everything about Vinason Pho Kitchen. Customer service here was extraordinary, the food was incredibly delicious, the establishment it self was beautiful and clean, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back, this is going to be one of our top favorite restaurants from now on.

Had beef pho. Was alright. Didnt taste like good beef stock. They definitely add a ton of hoisin sauce and possibly even more sugar to the stock to make up for it. I found it to be a little gross. Otherwise, it was alright. Everything else was good though. Brisket was great, the other steak option is strange. The steak was pale white like chicken breast, but it has a pleasant taste and texture. Ive never had white looking steak... On another note, I feel like they are pandering a little too much to the vegan avocado toast crowd for a Vietnamese restaurant...

The vietnamese chain has good ambience , they have beer on the tap. The food quality and the value for money is not as good as the Chipotle.

BEWARE I paid full price + tip ($40+) for pretty good egg rolls and two bowls of pho. Not only did both of our pho bowls have NO NOODLES but when I called about it they began by saying since I paid $3.00 extra for broccoli and carrots it doesnt come with noodles but then had to double back retracted that first excuse because the other bowl I didnt order extra veggies still paid full price and got no noodles. Clearly in the wrong because even if I chose a no noodle option (I would absolutely never do that) I still paid the full amount, annnd the only way they could remake it is if I drove back with my full order. This was my first time trying this place, The person who made all the decisions on the phone couldnt have been more than 20 years old.. really unfortunate to spend over $40 for some pho drive to pick it up and come home to a noodle-less pho bowl and have the business basically give me two middle fingers when I called in politely about the mistake they made. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk and be very careful if u dare try ordering pickup they WILL CHARGE FULL price and give you a bowl of no-noodle pho with absolutely 0 remorse.

I ll start with the positive and say that the location is good, space is clean and nice, and it s cool that they have draft beer. But I must say - I m not a fan of fusing Vietnamese food with, as another reviewer said, avocado toast crowd. I really love Vietnamese restaurants as they are and don t think they need to be modernized at all. The pho here is sadly in the top 3 worst phos I ve had, and I ve had a LOT. The broth is somehow sweet and salty, and doesn t have the depth of flavor pho needs. Also, the broth to noodle ratio needs to be improved because I got a lot of noodles with less broth, which meant that a quarter through my meal, the soup became a glutinous mess. It is not a good idea to serve pho in PAPER bowls with flimsy, tiny to-go utensils because the heat of the broth is an important element of pho, but the paper bowls release too much heat too fast. Also it is an extremely awkward shape. The traditional soup spoons are also must, it was weird eating pho with a plastic rounded spoon. Lastly, please do not serve spring rolls on WAX paper - the rice skin sticks to the wax and rips right off. I am not a fan of using disposables for in-house dining though, why waste so much?

Pretty good pho and nice location. But I hate that the garbage where you clear up your stuff is in the middle of the restaurant without any form of lid or covering. This system creates a greater risk of unappetizing smells and invites fruit flies. Last time I went one flew in my gf s soup.

Editing to 5 stars because now I feel bad. Yea, I know, theyre trying. Hopefully I can eventually get there for the beef broth again. I absolutely love this place.... Except now they close at 8. This pains me because the food is fantastic but I work 10-8. As a mental health therapist, I crave that home cooked broth after a rough day and now its inaccessible
