We are opening dine-in Now
Such a cozy vibe inside! Perfect for a cold rainy day. We ordered the crispy spicy tofu and the sesame chicken. Both delicious. The wonton soup is wholesome and flavorful and HUGE- definitely order that for a group. And some hot jasmine tea! We will be coming back.
This place had the vibe of cheap North East Chinese food and I was hoping it would taste that way. I ended up trying the crispy mandarin chicken and while it wasn't necessarily bad, it wasn't good either. For a restaurant with Spicy in the name, I expect a dish labeled as 3/5 spice to have at least a little heat to it. The dish was very sweet, and if there was even a hint of a single spicy ingredient in the recipe I couldn't find it. The chicken was also more breading than it was chicken. Also the food safety rating of "okay" in the window gave me pause, but I was in a rush and didn't feel like finding a backup plan. Oh well, could have been worse. Three stars seems appropriate to me.
Consistently one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. We have been customers since its original location in Redmond and it's been pleasantly surprising how it continues to deliver high quality and value. This last time we ordered sesame chicken, sliced fish in spicy gravy and fried tofu with string bean. All were excellent. Other dishes I recommend are their shaved noodles and green onion pancakes.
As a lover of Szechuan-style cuisine who has tried many places, I can confidently say they serve the best Szechuan chicken in town. The fried batter is perfectly executed—crispy and sweet.
Hands down one of my favorite restaurants, especially as a vegan. Since they offer countless tofu dishes I don't feel like I'm forced to choose something I don't want. The fried tofu with string beans is my favorite. The food is always delicious, the staff is very kind and it's a decent price for what you get. I like that you get a TON of vegetables. I've done takeout a few times and the food is usually ready in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend trying this place if you like Chinese food!
The atmosphere was comfortable. The food was mediocre at best. The hot and sour soup was goopy. It was neither hot nor sour. The special fried rice contained 2 shrimp. When I asked for a couple more shrimp and that I was happy to pay for them, the server refused. This place is nothing special and I don't expect to return.
Calling all foodies! This place can turn a carnivore into a tofu fan—I am seriously impressed and would gladly eat more tofu and vegetarian if all tofu was made like Spicy Talk does it! We were with a vegetarian and so I grudgingly went along with all tofu dishes and was blown away! Hands down my favorite dish is the salt and pepper tofu and I could have eaten most of it! This is not a common dish to find and the crunch, tofu texture and seasoning had me wanting to lick the plate! We also ordered the mandarin crispy tofu and the sauce was sweet but not overwhelmingly so, beautifully citrusy with a spicy kick and chow mein with tofu and the hand pulled noodles were chewy with a savory delicious sauce! Wow… I will be back not for meat but for more tofu! Thanks, Spicy Talk I’m a tofu convert if you’re cooking!
Lovely Szechuan joint nestled in the belly of Kirkland. I've been coming for years, even their previous location, which I actually liked better. I always receive delicious and friendly service and they have all my spicy favorites along with non-spicy for the kids/non-spicy seekers, haha. I also love the fact that there is a Scarface painting hanging on the wall. Normally I'd be confused, but noting the bird houses and other RANDOM nicknacks right as you enter the door helps it all make sense. LOVE THIS PLACE! Take-out is also legit!
This place is a true gem. The food is delicious, the wait staff attentive and warm, fast service without feeling rushed to get out the door. Theyve also got some fun quirky decor with an oil portrait of Tony Montana, which always brings a smile to my husbands face. Love this place! Kid-friendliness: My kids are notoriously picky eaters, but they were helping themselves happily to multiple helpings and proclaiming how much they loved the food. Im just the messenger!
Excellent, fresh, and good amount
Loved the egg fried rice and chicken schezwan sizzlers. Food
This place is absolutely amazing! Great food and service. We got the Mandarin crispy chicken, schezuan prawns, and Singapore rice noodles. I would highly recommend all of these dishes.
Not a fan at all after our 2nd visit! The customer service was extremely poor and never returned to ask for a water refill or a ask for a beverage. The food in itself was no way traditional Chinese. Our whole experience was poor! We will never give this restaurant a 3rd opportunity! Poor customer service and poor quality of food! Also not a clean atmosphere! Clean the floors and items on the table! Hot sauce containers are filthy!
The mandarin chicken was disgustingly sweet and tasted like microwaved frozen food. I know it wasnt microwaved frozen food due to the aftertaste of the old oil it was cooked in. The sauce on the mongolian beef had a soupy/watery consistency and leaked out of the soggy box. The rice was extremely dry too. It was just a gross experience all-around, and I paid way too much ($45 USD) for food that shouldnt even be served to a dog.
They serve authentic Chinese cuisine and it sure is good! Ill definitely return to this place!
Good lunch spot. Great flavors and reasonable prices.
Such good spicy chinese food. I love the sizzling beef and green beans!! Pretty spicy!
This is some of the best food. Kind of a secret gem. We live in PDX and try to eat here whenever we come up to the Seattle area. Our favorites are the hand cut noodles, orange chicken, and hot sour soup. Cheers to the chefs at this restaurant.
Amazing place, really great service, huge portions for the cost, fresh and flavorful. Servers are really open to customizations as well. Excellent vegetarian and vegan options and great for spicy food lovers, as the name suggests. Definitely get the Szechuan crispy tofu!
Some of the best Chinese food I ve had. Every visit has been great.
only have done takeout but every thing is delicious and not spicy if you dont want it (dont let the name fool you :))
I ordered orange chicken and garlic eggplant with tofu. They were surprisingly delicious!
Great fresh, delicious food with quick and efficient service. We ordered green beans with chicken, friend rice with prawns and Kung pao chicken. Everything was great.
Small, family owned restaurant. Food was good. Pretty fresh raw materials used.
Packaging was done upside down for takeout and ended up spilling in my car and kitchen counter. Food was bad and expensive/overpriced. Orange chicken too sweet. Crispy beef too salty. Noodles meh.
Every menu option is so good. Not a single miss.
Green bean signature dish very tasty and authentic. Orange chicken crispy. This is surprisingly good
Great options for Vegetarians/Vegans. We loved all the tofu dishes we tried here. Crispy mandarin Tofu/Salt n pepper tofu were our favorites. Sichuan tofu in spicy gravy is also a great option! The service is great. The folks are polite and welcoming.Highly recommend this place !
I have eaten at Spicy Talk 4 times and each time the meal was excellent. The flavors and crispiness of each dish I have tried was excellent and the Szechuan cooking here is top notch. I m mainly leaving this review to support them so I may keep going back! We love you Spicy Talk.
Literally the best restaurant Ive ever been to! I dont usually leave yelp reviews but this place is my favorite. Super great and friendly staff too. Amazing food, such a great find.
Food is absolutely the best. My kids love it so much that they fly home from college just to eat here. Great options for vegetarians.
The cooking is done by a Chinese chef, and the taste is very orthodox. However, the ingredients are limited by American ingredients and cannot fully reproduce the dishes. It is recommended for those who miss Chinese food.
i decided to write a review because i think this place doesn t get enough credit. this is the best chinese restaurant i have yet to find. a lot of people give good reviews on chans i gave my review on chans along time ago it was aweful. chans has a better atmosphere but its also a bigger place while spicy talk is a bistro but the food is not even comparable.
This the go-to takeout option for my family. Everything we have tried from the menu has been awesome so I wont recommend any one dish. We recently had to try takeout from a nearby chinese place with decent reviews, and the dropoff in quality was immense. Spicy Talk is awesome.
Great lunch and great value.
Very good! Beef and broccoli is delicious and so is honey walnut shrimp. Food
One of the few Chinese restaurants in the area where the food was awesome. The food was very well made and indexed high on the spicy side, but was very delicious. I would certainly be coming back here again sometime soon. Vegetarian options: Singapore Noodles Kid-friendliness: Moderately kid friendly
Found a hair in the one of the take out dish. Taste is below average. Would not come again.
Very good American Chinese food. Efficient service. Food
Overpriced and too spicy.
Awesome food. Their lunch special cannot be beat. Parking lot can be challenging.
They wrote in a ten dollar tip. Im looking at my transaction history and I can see they wrote in a ten dollar tip after I gave them a $12 cash tip and declined to tip on card.
Always loved this place.
Fantastic Szechuan! Sizzling Beef, Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Prawns. Cannot wait to try more! DELICIOUS.
had a highly satisfying meal here, and the service was fast. it s easy to order and pay from a QR code on your table. I recommend the eggplant & tofu, mapo tofu, and fried noodles!
Clean, modern little bistro. The family who runs it are friendly and respectful. I had chicken chow mein and WOW delicious. I also ordered a medium bowl of egg flower soup which was piping hot when it arrived at the table (everything was served fast and hot!). I am so satisfied and the bistro is affordable! Good job, I will be back!
Great hidden place with surprisingly excellent Szechuan food. It s been hard to find a good spot since the height of the pandemic, but I went around lunch and it was empty, so wasn t expecting too much. We had the Szechuan spicy chicken and orange chicken. Both were incredibly tasty, well seasoned, and well cooked. Will definitely be visiting more.
The best Chinese food around. Awesome vegan/veggie options. Please dont change.
Dinner with my friends last night and this was SUCH great food! A friend recommended it, and its worthy. Not fancy, just nice, good food, simple, tasteful decor and atmosphere. I had the Cumin Beef (wonderfully spicy( and Garlic Green Beans (not spicy at all, just really good), Mongolian Beef (yummy and hardly spicy), and Dan Dan Noodles (so interesting, different, really yummy-tasty). Ill be back. Ill gladly travel across the city for food this good!
This is my favorite takeout place, in the world. I m not even exaggerating. I tell my wife every time we get this, that if anything ever happens to me, to serve it at my funeral in honor of my favorite meal. The best is the sesame chicken. We also love the tofu eggplant, garlic green bean, and salt and pepper shrimp.
Nice little Chinese bistro near Fred Meyer. It has been around in Redmond, Bellevue and now Kirkland. It is Szechuan style Chinese food. Some may say the prices are high, but you receive very large portions. We had the deep-fried tofu as an appetizer, and it was well cooked and not rubbery. We then ordered the pork fried rice, the Mandarin crispy chicken, and the Singapore rice noodle. The waitress was friendly and knew the dishes very well. The pork fried rice didnt look greasy and was nice and hot. The Mandarin crispy chicken was scrumptious. The Singapore rice noodle when we first got it was very salty and seemed they put too much curry powder on it. The waitress got our order redone and the 2nd time, it was much better. We happen to come by around 4pm so it wasnt too busy that there werent any empty seats, but they definitely were busy with takeout orders. All in all, I found the pricing more than fair, especially, since we got to bring leftovers home. The waitress says you can reserve only for parties of six or more. Parking is adequate and if need be, you can always park in the Fred Meyer lot and just walk over. I would definitely come back.
Great food! We ordered Mongolian chicken, cashew chicken, scallion pancakes, gyoza, and some kind of noodle dish. Everything was fantastic, and we ll definitely return! Service was fine; no issues. We paid $95 for three of us and had plenty of leftovers
The food is so good! Sacuan beef is amazing!
I would say its not that spicy, but still good. Szechuan food supposed to be spicy, but I guess its a little Americanized. Small restaurant, but its nice, just not spicy.
Greatest orange chicken in land
Fantastic food, good vegetarian options
WOW. Best chinese food by far!!! Worth the price. Delicious. Friendly staff as well!
Really good food. I liked it a lot.
Great food. Just can t get there estimated time right. Told 10-15 mins . Turned out to be 45 mins
My favorite spot in Kirkland hands down!
Always good take out and good sized portions. It is a little more expensive than other place but worth it!
Hidden away from street view, but a hidden gem for great Chinese food. We stopped by and it was quaint, but well decorated. The staff is incredibly friendly and the menu is expansive. I loved their mapo tofu with pork and sizzling beef (not pictured). Parking can be tricky on a busy day, but otherwise there is typically parking available. It was hot and fresh and delicious! I brought my mom the next day after my significant and I had come to try it. The noodles are hand cut which made it all the more satisfying. It s a family style restaurant so dishes are portioned to be shared!
a little over priced, but their orange chicken is the best ive had.
If you are looking for some spicy Chinese food, this is the place. Their wild chili chicken/veggies option is mouth watering. It is a small family run restaurant. The lunch option comes with soup and one full meal. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options (not in soup)
Found it one night looking for noodles, and its amazing. Orange chicken is nice and crispy unlike most places, and other dishes seem very authentic.
Easily the most authentic chinese food in the kirkland area
Staff was great. Shopping mall parking. They have limited parking. Parking: Lots of parking if you dont mind walking. Kid-friendliness: The staff was very busy with uber eats. The staff however focused on the customers present.
Very Good Szechuan food
Best!!!
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options, full section of tofu and vegetable dishes. Food
Food was delicious!
Great food.
Love the thick Chow mein noodles, the savory Kung Pao chicken, the super crispy szechuan crispy chicken and the perfectly cooked fried tofu with string bean! Super easy to order online, fast, plenty of food and they were really nice when I picked it up! This is my new go-to Chinese food place in Kirkland!
This is a cozy little family owned (I think) place that serves fantastic food. I couldnt even tell you what was my favorite, they were all so good.! We had Mandarin crispy chicken, chicken chow mein (hand made and shaved noodles, deliciously chewy), Szechuan wontons (fabulous!) and Honey Crispy Tofu (Im not even a big fan of tofu and these were fantastic, like crisp marshmallows with soft insides and a rich but light flavor). The service was friendly and unobtrusive, too. We will definitely be back!
Stumbled into American Chinese food There is a very strange sweet sauce in the twice-cooked pork. Most of the meat slices are pure lean meat, very dry and woody.
Delicious and always super fast! They even let me put in an order 20 minutes before closing time a few months ago. I always get the Szechuan crispy tofu and my husband gets the Chong Ching chicken. The green beans are also delicious. Highly recommend!
Who are you people that gave this such high rating? we were very disappointed and we frequent many Szechuan restaurants but this one serves wrong meat, tough as leather and wrong ingredients. Terrible food.
Great food and large portions,
Not on our list to go again!
Delicious, good portions and reasonably priced.
The service and the food was great. The restaurant had AC, so it was very cool on a hot day.
This place is fantastic I love the food here. Great Saturday lunch and prices are very reasonable.
Wild Chili Prawns - 4/5 Szechuan Beef - 4.5/5 Food was great. No complaints about the service but it is a typical szechuan place. The food is a little more expensive than what you would expect (about $18 for the beef and $20 for the prawns) and the quantity was just right for the price but both the prawns and beef were cooked perfectly! Ordering a couple of appetizers might have pushed this from a $ to a $$ restaurant. Might be nice to go with more people and order a variety of dishes to share. Would go for their lunch specials next time around!
We ordered the tofu dish and really liked it
Ordered a take out. I had the veggie chowmein and mapo tofu. Fast service and prompt follow up. Food was good but not memorable
Ordered Chicken Singapore Noodles and Twice Cooked Pork for pickup. Portions were very generous and food was hot and fresh. Most importantly, it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Will be coming back here again in the near future.
Orange chicken & pork pot stickers to go... Absolutely amazing taste & the portions are a good size. This just became my go to for Chineese food.
Easy 5 stars from us. We got the spicy cabbage, crispy sichuan tofu and spicy stir fried dry bean curd. Everything came out piping hot, very freshly made and so so delicious. Several vegan options not limited to the ones we got. Friendly service.
Best szechuan on the east side. Get spicy hand-shaved noodle or szechuan crispy beef. Die of happiness. Food : 5/5
Best Chinese restaurant in the area. Authentic but still familiar and very yummy. We had Wontons, Mongolian beef and shaved nudels.
The Szechuan won tons are the best dumplings I ve ever had. The hand shaved chow mein noodles are also amazing. All of their food is great and I highly recommend this place.
Very, very salty and a bit on the soggy side. A shame since the flavors seemed good. Edible but probably wont return again.
DELICIOUS!!! Nice portion sizes and great service. Very reasonable prices. We had the orange chicken and the handshaved beef chow mein. Yum!!! Staff were very friendly. Can t wait to come back.
We showed up starving with our four children and left completely satisfied. The portions are large. We didnt realize and had dinner for the next night. The chow mein is seriously the best we ever had. They even gave us some egg drop soup, I think they could tell we were starving. Every dish was delicious and more than just dining in, but an experience. The food was served quickly. I noticed the waitresses were always making sure we had water despite being busy. It doesnt get any better than this place. Their food and service are top notch. We loved the chow mein chicken, Sesame chicken, sizzling beef, and eggrolls. Worth it!! We will be back!!! Kid-friendliness: They were so kind to my children. The dishes mark if they are spicy, my kids loved every dish
The best service and the best food! I can t say enough good things about this place!
Very good authentic Szechuan food. Nice little cozy inside to eat in as well. Little expensive but is my favorite restaurant. Honey Walnut Prawn: super sweet perfection Orange Chicken: a bit bland to eat by itself but good portion Fish & Soft Tofu in Spicy Gravy: spicy tofu, fish, bamboo 10/10
Ordered from here for the first time yesterday....the food was fantastic!! Big portions and cooked to perfection. The customer service was top notch as well. All around great experience
Ordered online for pick up and food wasn t ready until almost 1.5 hours later. This was my first time ordering and it will probably be my last.
This is the best chinese food I have ever had. Amazing food and the serving size is huge. They have a variety of dishes to choose from. I would definitely go back here again. If you are looking for a good place to have chinese food then this is your place.
Great spicy food with decent portion size. We ordered crispy Tofu, egg rolls and Vegetable chowmein and everything was great especially the crispy Tofu. They should improve their website and ordering system. The dishes description arent clear.
Ordered at 5:55, was told 45 minutes. Arrived at 5:40, was told it was almost ready. 25 minutes later they were still saying the same line, its almost ready!. A lady I spoke with had been waiting an hour. The ladies working the register were opening boxes, touching peoples food with bare hands, it was gross. When I asked for a refund I was wordlessly handed a receipt. I genuinely dont believe most of the positive reviews on this post, they must be paid for because this place sucks.
Ordered broccoli beef and it was 80% broccoli, very little meat. Fried rice was the most plain we ve ever had. Hot and sour soup & egg drop soup were pretty good. Overall decent portions, but would not return.
Got sesame tofu, mandarin tofu, and tofu fried rice. They were all delicious and crisy! Great place for vegan Chinese food. Everything was labeled clearly online and the woman who took my order was very helpful guiding through the menu to find vegan options.
Hands down, best Chinese food on East side!
Very fresh. Very tasty. Wish they would bring back dine in seating.
Spicy Talk is one of our favorite restaurants in the area!!! The portion sizes are large and the food is delicious, plus the employees are always so nice
So delicious and spicy (just the right amount of spice, imo, but I do love spicy food and have a bit of tolerance for it). Generous portions, with plenty of leftovers. We got the mongolian beef, singaporean noodles, and szechuan crispy beef. So good! We ll definitely order again.
The orange chicken here Is probably the best you ll ever have, the fried rice is a bit dry though
If you like bland, over-priced food, this is the place for you. In the picture, what I received is on the right, and in the skillet on the left is my more palatable repair of their offering, using fresh vegetables and Asian spices. They offer no combination platters over the weekend (I was there on Sunday), and the prices are fairly high. The pork fried rice was very bland, with maybe a scattering of green onion for vegetable. I would think that for $12, the quality would be better. I could not eat more than a couple of bites.
This is my favorite Chinese food in the Seattle area since moving across the country!!! I have several friends hooked on this place. The dry wonton appetizer is craveable! Thats what keeps me coming back, but I also enjoy the vegetable chow mein, noodles, and chicken with string beans! Great customer service too. I love this place!
So glad this place is open for dine in again. We miss them in Redmond. The orange chicken is remarkably crunchy and light. Their onion pancake is almost like a New Mexican fry bread, delicious, not dense and oily like some others. Three stars is pretty, pretty spicy here. Obvious you might say
Over priced, portions were mostly vegetables and liquid and hardly any beef and the order was wrong. Not going back!
Food has been going downhill for about a year now. Used to send everyone here for the Sichuan crispy chicken. Now its just soggy, doughy pieces of chicken with no flavor and a small pinch of garlic. At the same time, prices are way up. Prime Spicy Talk was when they were in Redmond. Lost a bit of its flare when it first reopened in Kirkland. Since last year, the food has just been meh. Sad to see the downward trend. Cant recommend it anymore. Hope they see these reviews and go back to what they did for so many years.
Food is bland and over salted. They do not serve water while dining in. Food was over priced and bottled water is available for purchase when you stop on in.
~$15 entrees that taste saltier than the food you get at the airport, served on dixie plates and soup in styrofoam cups. Dishes were lacking in flavor, high in sugar. Asked for a glass of water - told they dont serve any, but I could buy a bottle. Really? First and last visit here.
Reasonably priced lunch specials.
Very flavorful! Ignore the reviews about it being bland! Had several dishes for our group and all were very good. Only $60 for four people so very reasonable priced. Excellent service and very attentive. Kept our water glasses full. Not bottled water as was reported earlier. Definitely will be returning!
Good food. Done perfectly. Wild chili chicken is really good!
This is one of our families favorite restaurants locally. We followed them from when they were in Redmond. Their food is excellent, fresh, and highly customizable to your spice preferences. Get the garlic string beans and hand shaven noodle chow mein! So good!
1. Ordering a set meal is not recommended 2. Cumin mutton is really delicious! ! ! Very tender! 3. Mapo tofu is a bit salty
Real authentic Chinese food! Probably the best if not the one of the best Chinese foods I have had for a long long time. You will not regret trying as I plan to return as often as possible. Beats all the Chinese restaurants in Seattle or Bellevue.
Very good Chinese food. Definitely five star. The chef went above and beyond to make non-spicy food for us. I will be sure to return!
Not the same owner or cook as pre covid. Its no longer authentic, but just a fusion now
We come here once or twice a week mostly during their lunch special I looooove their chili sauce!!!
Loved this place since it used to be in Downtown Redmond. Quality and service are amazing. Recommend the orange chicken
Good portions, delicious flavor! Rice is very good, my favorites are the mandarin chicken and the honey walnut crispy chicken
Oh I think I found my new favorite local Chinese food place! What a gem. Spicy Talk is a simple little place near Fred Meyer in Totem Lake. The food was delicious, well seasoned. Easy dine-in plus takeout as an option. We ordered Szechuan wontons, Singapore rice noodles, plus Mandarin crispy chicken with fried rice and sweet & sour soup. I would happily eat all of it again and I m especially looking forward to the Mandarin chicken. It offers a light puffy coating deep fried and doused in a sauce that I could not get enough of. Service was friendly and super fast (lunch hour, weekday).
Vegan Friendly We ordered stir-fried veggies (they made it oil-free as per our request and used soy sauce instead) and Kung Pao Tofu and some steamed rice. Food was delicious, servers approachable. A must visit when around.
This is a Sichuan restaurant run by Hakkas. I ordered boiled fish, fried lamb with green onions and stir-fried green beans, but none of them tasted right. Everything was pre-cooked, previously frozen and stale. Also the billed amounts were higher than those shown on the menu. We found out about it when asked for an itemized bill. We didnt say anything about it, but should have.
Closed on a Saturday evening without any notice on their website. Nothing more frustrating to a prospective diner!
Been going here for years the food has always been excellent.
Been eating here for years, since they were at their old location. The food is amazing, best take-out Chinese you can get around Kirkland.
I love the food here. They have hand shaven noodles .So yummy. They also have done in available.
I heard about Spicy Talk a few months ago and decided to try it on Christmas Day. We ordered 7dishes(Szechuan style beef, Eggplant in garlic sauce, Chow mein, potstickers, Mandarin chicken, Sweet& Sour chicken and Honey walnut prawns). Every single dish was delicious, not oily and very flavorful. Beef melted in your mouth, Ive never had that from a Chinese restaurant...it is usually tough and chewy. The deep fried dishes were not soggy at all, all the chicken and prawns were crispy and fresh. Not what you usually get from takeout(due to condensation). Extremely impressed, especially on a busy day like Christmas... THANK YOU!
Just take out
There is a good place to eat
Loved the Wild Chili Chicken
Fantastic food! The Chow Mein is very very tasty.
Really good vegan food!! Mandarin crispy tofu was sooooo good, the sauteed cabbage is really good too (goes super well together) and Garlic Broccoli is good too! Online ordering is really convenient and gives excellent text message updates!
Good, above average dishes. The wait can be considerable, so best to order ahead.
Delicious. Strip mall restaurant with world class flavor. Our favorites: Szechuan Crispy Beef, Chow Mein, Eggplant and Tofu in Garlic Sauce, Wonton. Very careful with COVID, organized the restaurant in order to deliver orders safely. Online ordering. This is the best food I have had in a year and is up there with the best Chinese food I have had ever.
Szechuan finest noms! Salt and pepper tofu and honey walnut shrimp...nuff said.
Singapore Rice Noodle and Szechuan Crispy Chicken were delicious! The staff were friendly and online ordering was very simple. Recommend to anyone looking for szechuan!
Amazing food!! The beef is Soo good and I just love it. The buisness is very nice and they offer takeout. Please check them out because your gonna LOVE IT. if ur considering ordering GO GO GO
I ate here in November of 2019. It was the best Chinese I had in a long time. I will visit again when they open for in-restaurant dining. Just can t drive from south King Co and back for take-out. Glad to see all the new reviews though! Their hand-shaved lo mein is incredible. My wife got something simple, Mongolian beef. The preparation must have been special because the bold, but simple flavors were mouthwateringly good. We went for a late lunch on a weekday and it wasn t busy at the time. I was concerned that the food would be re-wok-ed but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was fresh, clean and appetizing. Everywhere I ve tried since then has paled in comparison.
Nothing in this area even comes close to beating the flavor of their mandarin crispy chicken and crispy tofu. I also recommend trying the green onion pancake appetizer - we gotta get it everytime now.
Really awesome vegetarian food here! I love that they offer moo shu with tofu for vegetarians instead of just a bunch of cabbage and egg like most places veggie moo shu
Got excited about the prices and found too much cool stuff. But my cart full was well within my budget for the trip, I was just able to leave with twice as much as I might have elsewhere.
So tasty! Excellent hand-shaved noodles.
Spice levels are accurate and is it very flavorful. May need a little more salt but I guess that is a case of, To each their own.
Best Chinese Food Ive ever had.
Delicious food that exceed my expectations (and my bar is high), generously sized portions. Be sure to order rice if you want it, because its not included.
Expensive average food. Lamb dish barely had any lamb in it and the pickled pepper fish was 60% filled with bamboo shoots. Not going back there unfortunately.
I like this place, they have good food and I am a reoccurring customer. However I have had a few bad experiences with the people who hand the food across the table. I ordered my food online, got there late but still before my food was ready. The lobby was full of other customers waiting for their to go orders. I waited for the couple in front of me to see if their order was ready and then I told the lady my number, it will be right up was her reply so I go and take a seat. Five minutes goes by and I receive a text saying my order was ready but the lady never flagged me down to come grab it so I waited a little longer. More and more orders came from the kitchen and were put on the table but the lady never called the numbers for the order. Finally someone five orders after mine walks in and checks in at the counter where she was quickly given her bag and on her way. In response I got up to ask if my order was ready. It had been sitting on the table for five minutes. So now Im sitting at my house eating squishy Chinese food because the lady wasnt proactive and calling the ticket numbers to the full lobby of people waiting for their food. The reason I gave them two stars instead of one was that the food is good. The cooks deserve better expo service.
Extremely overpriced. Rice should be included. Also, not enough chicken in Kung Poe Chicken dish. Chicken with hot garlic sauce was absolutely disgusting and smelled very funny. My girlfriend could barely eat any. Overall, terrible experience and the food was sub par at best.
l tried garlic shrimp.lt was too sour.lf you like healthy food like celery , wood ear mashroom, and bamboo shoots then try it. Take out doesnt come with soup.So sad. Maybe next time l will try popular ones.
We ordered food for pick up. Absolutely delicious 5 star food but so poorly wrapped that sauces were everywhere by the time we got the food home.
Delicious food
We went to this place on a cold Sunday night and it was a great choice. The food was very tasty with a decent amount of spice and the service was fast and good. They were also very helpful in explaining what the dishes were and in helping us to make a choice. The quantities were huge though. Will definitely go again
Love this place, here all the time. Szechuan crispy chicken, Singapore rice noodles and green beans/with crispy tofu are the best.
Yummy food! Gluten free sesame tofu is divine and super hard to find pretty much anywhere else. Called tonight for take out and the machine said theyre out until 4/10/20 FYI well be looking forward to ordering take out then!
Best Chinese on the Eastside by far
Ive only been once. Had the pork with pickled vegetables which was quite mediocre. It was basically lots of shredded cabbage with bits of pork mixed in. Not that flavorful. Also most of the workers were wearing masks which is nice but the one who wasnt standing in the back by the kitchen sneezed and didnt cover her face in time. Lost my appetite after that.
I have been going here for morethan 6 years since they have the location in Redmond. Never disappointed always the same taste. Service not so much but friendly servers and excellent chinese food in W.A
Everything is so good, soo good.
The food was delicious and perfectly spicy. 10/10 am going to eat here again.
I am willing to overlook a lot during covid. Waiting over an hour and ten minutes was bad, but could be overlooked if everything else went well. However, it took an additional 10 minutes to actually get their attention in order to pick up the order that was sitting, waiting to be picked up. At that point, the pot stickers were stone cold and one of the three entrees was completely wrong. Only one of the four items was remotely warm by the time it came to eat. It was also the only one that tasted remotely good. Never again.
Got 1 order of egg rolls, orange chicken, curry chicken and 1 order of pot stickers. #52.00 after tax plus 8 for a tip $60.00. No fork, napkins or sauce. I feel robbed.
Great order to go experience - quick and simple. Mongolian beef was so-so. It was good but flooded in thin, runny sauce. Id give it 3 stars. Chow mein was good. Id give it 3.5 stars. The Szechuan Beef was amazing - 5 star. Since Mongolian beef is my favorite dish, I probably wont go again until I can have it while dining in.
I thought the fried rice and sizzling beef were very good. The chow mein is next level good. Add some green beans and green onion pancakes to complete the meal.
Best Szechuan on the eastside. I have a low spice tolerance, but their Chong Qing Hot Chicken is *painfully* addictive. The quality of their beef is top notch as well. My staples are Beef with Onion (just like Mongolian Beef without the sugar), Green Bean Pork, and Szechuan Crispy Beef. Their online ordering is great for limiting contact + its easier to customize dishes.
