Server kept misunderstanding what we were trying to order and was just in a hurry to suggest whatever & wasn t listening. She had the Santa headband on. And we are Veg but brought over a chicken dish and i understand there was a line that formed at the door towards the end of our meal but the guy working tonight just kept interrupting! Us to try and clear the table .. just clear the table already- we were obviously done; so rude to keep interrupting us to seat more people. We were wrapping up - calm down. And the curry had msg in it which gave me a headache. Won t come back

Soi Thai was amazing accommodating my fiancé s birthday dinner! Absolutely loved the service provided by Meow and Poi (sorry if I spelled their names incorrectly). Definitely recommending Soi Thai to our friends and family for any celebration, food and drinks were so delicious. Can t wait for the next time we come back!

Soi is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I used to go to the location in downtown Seattle before they relocated to Kirkland, and I frequent the Kirkland location now. The staff is incredible. They remember my name, my order, and all the exact ways I like my food. What more can you ask for in a restaurant? The food is great, the staff are amazing, and it s the perfect place to grab a meal. 5/5 recommend

I do not understand why this restaurant is 4.5 stars. If you are in Kirkland and want Thai food, go to Isarn. If in Bellevue, go to Tem Sib. If in Seattle, go to Kin Len Thai. This place is not authentic. We went before taking kids to the Halloween event in Kirkland Urban. On a Thursday at 5pm, we were the only ones there. We ordered the happy hour fried tofu. DO NOT ORDER. Coconut crust was ok, tofu was way too bland, could not force ourselves to finish. We also ordered pad thai and pineapple fried rice, both taste fine but not authentic, Americanized or something. We ordered the two because my daughter s fav dish is pad thai and son is pineapple fried rice. My kids liked the dishes, but we have ordered the dishes at probably 50+ different Thai restaurants, it s only passable. Flavorful, just not authentic. I would rate this restaurant higher if it was in the middle of no where, but for Seattle area this restaurant is just a 3 . Parking: Free 4hr parking with validation

Really solid restaurant for Thai food, with great service and nice ambiance

Consistently great food. We order take out regularly, but they also have a large dining room and full bar for when you want to eat out.

I ordered the Larb Salad, and it was fantastic the sauce was flavorful, the vegetables were fresh, and the chicken was perfectly minced. It s a dish I d definitely get again. The chamomile tea was also a highlight, served with a lovely setup that added to the experience. I sat in the back, near the kitchen, facing east, which gave me a view of the partly cloudy sky and added to the enjoyment of the meal, especially with good company. The atmosphere was calm around 1 pm, and our server was incredibly patient and kind. I d highly recommend this place, which also offers a variety of seating options to suit different preferences.

We went here for our anniversary and loved it so much! The server was very thorough helping me identify what I could and couldn t eat as someone who is gluten free. Their menu was extensive and all great choices. The cocktails were so tasty and the food was amazing! We had the pad cashew, the gang panang curry, and the pineapple fried rice- and all were awesome! Our service was great- special shoot out to Meow who made us feel extra special while celebrating our special day. Can t wait to back here over and over again! Dietary restrictions: Able to accommodate gluten free with lots of choices!

My wife and I shared our anniversary here, and we couldn t have chosen a better place! From the second we came in, we were greeted and served on by a warm and welcoming staff. They remembered the details from our reservation, were timely with their service, and the food was on point (we went all out with different cocktails, apps, a rice dish, Penang curry, and an entree - all were delicious). They even went out of their way to provide us with a free desert in celebration of our anniversary. Five out of five on everything! Special shoutout to Meow! You were the best! Thank you so much!

We arrived at 7:30pm on a Wednesday and you denied two of us because you said the kitchen was closed? Your sign and website says your are open until 9pm. Very disappointed. And staff was very rude. Never coming back.

Wonderful time and an excellent service!

This is a popular spot for a wide menu of Thai food. The portions are small but well-presented and tasty. They have a vegan option for their Thai tea (coconut milk), but it clumps as expected with coconut milk. The papaya salad made Isarn style is spicy but also satisfyingly sweet and spicy when you squeeze the meat out of the salted crab with your teeth. The wings are great, the appetizer meatballs are crunchy and fresh with the garnishes, and the shrimp is pretty good, too. Their phad Thai is a bit saucy for my taste but otherwise good.

We celebrated a birthday here and everything was wonderful. I was able to make reservations and seated right away. The food was delicious! The service wonderful and friendly. They were able to accommodate our but allergy. Try the pad thai and duck pork buns.

I had the massaman curry lamb shank and it was literally one of the best meals I ve ever had!! My wife and I come here all the time and Soi always has the Thai magic! Delicious and wonderful, attentive staff. Parking: Park underground beneath QFC and get validation which is good for 3 hours.

Amazing Lamb curry

Top notch Thai dining experience. I was tempted by almost everything on the menu, but ended up having to try the staple Pad Thai, and I wasnt disappointed. It tasted unique in a very good way. I ended up ordering the fried banana and ice cream for dessert, even though Im not really a dessert person, and it was also excellent. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Took 30 minutes to take our order. Food was ok, but very pricey for the amount they give you. Charged us a gratuity even though there were only five of us. Wouldn t recommend going here, you ll probably find a better Thai place.

Appetizer: Larb Tod (Thai ko ya ki) was amazing!!! The spicy basil fried rice with extra vegetables, and pork, not only had a beautiful presentation...it tasted delicious!! The sweet Thai basil stir fry with minced chicken and a fried egg on top, was fabulous!! Our servers were so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable, with lots of windows and a spacious feel to the restaurant. I love the design of the restaurant space overall. We will definitely be returning for more delicious Thai cuisine!

Soi is so amazing with such a great atmosphere. When you first walk in, there is a wall filled with flowers, it is definitely worth the photo for the gram. (For privacy, I will not post a photo, you just gotta trust me) once you step through the door you will be greeting by the most cheerful hostess, her name is Meow. She presents very high energy and makes the experience much more playful and enjoyable. She will provide recommendations and warn us about how hot the calamari is, and yes worth every single bite! Honestly the entire staff was so adorable, everyone was helpful and very speedy in providing us with great service. We ordered the pad see ew and the Thai basil fried rice. It was VERY well done and delicious. I never thought I would like basil as fried rice but WOW every bite was so good. Our choice of protein is chicken and they did a good job implementing that to the dish. It was not dried out like most other places and the pad sew ew was PERFECT texture. 10/10 recommend these dishes. We mainly came her for the cocktails Of all the ones we got, the dancing queen is the best although I highly recommend trying more than one drink. I forgot the name, I think called lady guava was my next favorite. Both are super sweet, but be careful because you will 100% want more. This is a small, family AND locally owned and operated business. Please give them a visit to see for yourself because it was an amazing Thai food experience! Vegetarian options: Salads and you can requests for tofu over meat dishes. Parking: There s an underground parking space where diners and shoppers can park. Kid-friendliness: Yes, very many family friendly booths and separate from the bar side. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there s elevators that allows access to the restaurant.

We waited over an hour for our food, 30 minutes for the bill, the service was awful, and the food was alright. I would not recommend this place if you would like a meal in under 2 hours.

I also had the experience of waiting a LONG time for the food to arrive and had a difficult time tracking down the server to obtain the check to leave. I was at a table with 3 people and our food came out 5 minutes apart... just a weird experience. It was a long, drawn-out process and I am not planning on going back.

The food is all nice and Thai already. But when you ready for dessert, plz plz ask for the fried bananas. It comes with three pieces of crisply fried banana roll, and a sweet surprise, a good bowl of ice cream! Just too perfect before going into a hot summer night

My daughter and I had an amazing birthday dinner tonight to celebrate. The staff was wonderful and the food was outstanding. Vegetarian options: My daughter asked about an option to make sure it was vegetarian friendly and they said they could make the sauce vegetarian for her.

Come for the beautiful displays! Stay for the delicious food and Meow. She is so incredible with her generous hospitality, smiles and conversation. We had the Khao Soi and my friend couldnt stop raving about how delicious it was. The Pad Khee Mao was my absolute favorite. You will be delighted. Will definitely be coming back for more! I will have to come back. I forgot to take pics of the meal.

We had lunch with our entire team at SOI Kirkland today, and it may be my very favorite Thai place ever. Service was excellent, the restaurant design and decor is beautiful. Our folks ordered a wide variety of items and every single one I would consider excellent. I personally had the lunch special yellow curry and not only was the flavor excellent, it was truly a beautiful dish. Heat level ratings seem to be fairly standard, not inflated, so out of their 1-3 rating a 2 would equate to a solid traditional 3 stars on a 1-5 scale. Thank you for a super nice lunch.

We went here for dinner tonight and it was pretty great! The food was wonderful, we got the Drunken Noodles with Tofu, and the Stir Fry Eggplant with Chicken and both were delicious! The Drunken Noodles were super tasty, and had a lot of tofu. The Chicken in the Eggplant dish was AMAZING! Definitely the highlight of our meal. For appetizers we got Fried Coconut Tofu, and the Pork Belly Bao. The Bao was yummy but hard to eat and quite fatty. The Coconut Tofu was good, but not great. The overall experience was good, but the funny cover songs and sticky table left us feeling off. *UPDATE* My partner and I returned to Soi after a late night getting off of work. We arrived close to closing time, but they kindly offered take out as an option for us. The environment was super welcoming with their cute pride flower wall! We had Pad See Ew with Chicken, Fried Spring Rolls, and Drunken Noodles with Tofu. All of the dishes were delicious and piping hot for us to take out. We really appreciated the wonderful customer service and amazing atmosphere. 5 stars for Soi! Vegetarian options: Lots of options with tofu. Parking: The parking lot is accessible by the P1 elevators and is validated in the restaurant.

Came here for drinks and ended up ordering food because we ended up a little hungry. 5 stars to both. I personally ordered the mule and it was a perfect balance of flavor and kick. The thai basil fried rice was delicious. Not too spicy and just the perfect balance of flavor. Not oily at all but full of deliciousness. I could not recommend this place enough!!

Possibly the best Thai food Ive ever had(I know, its cliche) but I legitimately dont know how else to describe it. Myself and 2 other people with me got the drunken noodles (2/3 stars for spiciness) and thats the cleanest spice Ive ever eaten. Its hot enough to make you sweat a little bit, but it doesnt burn your mouth at all. I will definitely be going back. The only negative thing I can say about this place is the staff member that seated us and took our order was kinda rude and told us we had less than 10 minutes to order when we got there more than 30 minutes before they close. Another staff member took over for us after we ordered, and she was super nice. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, but maybe try to arrive at least an hour before they close, if you dont wanna risk some potentially funky vibes.

The atmosphere is really nice. The food was delicious. Pad Thai was not too sweet, which I liked. The restaurant was pretty empty but the servers didn t seat us at the regular tables despite us asking for it.

I ordered the Tum Yum soup and salmon Panag curry. The Tum Yum was okay, very average. The curry was even worse. The salmon was incredibly dry and vegetables were not cooked. We will not return or recommend.

This is the place to go for your event! We had a graduation dinner here and the whole experience was amazing! From the point of planning, ordering and decorating, Ken and the staff made sure that you had everything ready and taken care for. Food was delicious and prepared in family style which made it easy to share. They even had the table set up with cute flower centerpieces and wall decor to follow with our graduation theme. They went above and beyond to make sure we have what we need and their attention to detail is excellent! We re so glad that we chose this place to have our dinner and thank you again for making this occasion more special.

Soi is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Kirkland and on the Eastside. The service is great, the food is always delicious and we love bringing friends and family here. They are very accommodating for people with food allergies and dietary restrictions which is nice. Five star experience in Kirkland!

A large gathering at a venue always needs three things to be successful: good food, a comfortable space, and excellent service. Soi exceeded our expectations and provided all three of these things, making our gathering of 20+ people, so special. It was so easy working with Ken to secure the space and menu and then Meow really provided us with the best service on the day of. I would highly recommend Soi for not only a quick bite or a nice dinner date, but also for a larger party/celebration.

EXCELLENT VENUE FOR A PRIVATE EVENT! Hosted an event at SOI, and it was a successful one, thanks to Ken, Meow and the rest of the team. Ken was great to work with during the planning stages of our event, he was quick to respond to our menu & event set up questions & updates. Meow was our event server, and was awesome! She made sure our guest had an amazing time & dining experience. Also, it was a nice gesture for the Chef to make an appearance to greet us. All in all, Excellent Service, Excellent Atmosphere and Excellent Isan Thai Cuisine!

We love this place! The food is always amazing. Our favorite gal (pictured) is the sweetest. Shes always exceptionally welcoming and is a ray of sunshine. We leave happier because of her. This restaurant is one of my favorites in Kirkland. Phad Khe Mao, BBQ, papaya salad, Tom Kha, Crispy Rice salad, larb and Panang are some of our favorite dishes. Ask for the fresh chilis condiments. I had a great time at Soi Thai. Grandma was a fantastic server. She supported us in making choices and giving excellent recommendations. Ken, the events coordinator, allowed us to use the patio space, which created a remarkable space to hang out. Dudes Night Out Event was an huge success and the food that came out of the kitchen was so good, All through out the evening I heard, mmmm this is good, with every dish that came to the table The Chief there was amazing came out to meet us. She even prepared a dish for a first time eater of Thai food and they loved it. It is located in the Google Campus in Kirkland, WA. Please be sure to look to the left when you exit the Elevator.

We hosted a family member s party here on the mezzanine level which is a private space. We had 25 guests and a buffet style lunch. Loved the atmosphere and the food, we had a dedicated server that ensured we got prompt refills on food and drinks. Would recommend!

Solid Thai place in Kirkland urban. They validate parking here too. Weve gone for several work lunches, and they have good lunch sets as well. Duck curry is tasty and portion is generous. Just got an order from here at work on a group order through Uber Eats. They have a no modification policy, so I carefully looked over the items on the menu both on the Uber Eats side, and their official website. I got some rice, fried eggs, steamed noodles, and steamed chicken because they were the only things that didnt mention onions or garlic, since Im allergic to those. When the order arrived I found that my noodles and chicken had garlic on them. I cant eat half of my lunch now, because these people cant seem to figure out how to list ingredients. Its not like websites charge by the letter. PUT ALL YOUR INGREDIENTS ON THE WEBSITE! People have allergies, and dietary restrictions. Its complete negligence to not list your ingredients in 2024. You should take your money somewhere else. Dietary restrictions: Dont eat here if you have any dietary restrictions. They dont list their ingredients, and dont allow substitutions. Its like theyre TRYING to get someone to have anaphylaxis.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in Seattle. The food is delicious and drinks are great! You can find a really authentic Thai taste in their foods. Also the ambiance and staff are excellent!

This review is way overdue . I work near by and come here for lunch quite often. Food is always delicious and service is great! I planned a birthday party here for my husband and we all had so much fun. I ordered 5 different dishes and they were all super good. We had two signature drinks old fashioned and Dancing Queen (Lychee Martini) and seriously they were so so good. Did I mention there is a free parking garage? This place is amazing and I definitely would love to plan another party here.

The pad Thai was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too sweet. the portion size was small ish, didnt have peanuts, felt meh. The crispy chicken was way too salty. Food is subpar, avoid.

Came in at 630pm on a Thursday and the place was mostly empty except for a larger party outside. I was by myself and was sat at the bar. No one acknowledged my presence for about 10 minutes, so I got up and left. Absolutely clueless service.

Based on my first experience here Great service and really nice people. Location is negligible I don t see myself going out of my way to park and walk up mainly because the food wasn t memorable. I d be willing to give Soi another try but I d try different things. Panang curry, 3/10, curry was watered down and lacked depth of flavor. There are 5 other place locally I d go to assuming this is normally how they make it. Presentation was nice though! Pork bao buns, 1/10, pork was dry and lacked flavor and they put a fat carrot stick and 2 long raw green onion alongside it. I feel bad being this critical but I d never buy or recommend this particular dish. I wanted to try the wings, which I heard were amazing but they were sold out. I tried my friends green curry and that had an off putting aftertaste. My other friend had a tofu, green bean dish that she enjoyed and something I d try with a protein in it. Crab Rangoon had little no no crab and mostly cream cheese, some like it like that but I don t. With so many options around town, gotta nail the staples. Parking: They validate parking.

Hands down one of the overall best Thai restaurants in the Seattle/Puget Sound great food, great ambiance, and the friendliest wait staff. The food here was spectacular. Presentation was perfect and the flavors were certainly not lost. I grew up in CA with a Thai/Cambodian best friend whose family fed me their traditional cuisine nearly everyday. SOI Thai s flavors nearly took me back! Haven t had a place do that for me since I left CA. We ordered their Pork Noodle Soup, Drunken Noodle w/ Fried Tofu, Papaya Salad, and Eggplant Stir Fry with Chicken. Pork Noodle Soup is to die for so refreshing. Their Drunken Noodle was the best I ve had. For dessert we had their black rice pudding and it was a cherry a top! They ve FOR SURE gained a new regular personally worth driving up 45 minutes from South Seattle for the experience! Dietary restrictions: My partner is Celiac, and this place is very gluten intolerant friendly!

If you want good Thai food don t come here. Food has too much sugar in it, every dish we tried was too sweet. Drunken noodle had clumps of noodles not fully separated, eggplant dish was a disaster of tofu being too sweet and some eggplant chunks literally chunks of it uncooked. Overall come here for a drink but don t come to dine, until they fix these issues. Really disappointed.

Great atmosphere and location! Highly recommend the Spicy Basil Fried Rice (which is quite spicy) and Crispy garlic chicken, which is yummy. Would recommend making reservations in advance if you are going with a group. They have separate spaces for large group events Parking: They have plenty of parking spots within their free underground parking garage.

Place is legit. Ordered ubereats from here. Got chef specials and they were really good. Great prices as well.

The restaurant is located upstairs in Kirkland Urban. I always get the red curry with prawns and rice and it is REALLY GOOD. Medium spicy is the right amount of flavor and heat. The place is popular, but if you go early, you never will have a problem getting in. They also have a ton of vegetarian options too. Will definitely be back.
