Cafe 79 is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. We serve varieties of food from meat lovers to vegans dishes. It’s a small local, family owned restaurant where our family works together to share our happiest through food to you and your families.
Loved the food here. Simple items on the menu, prepared with good quality ingredients. Loved the pho and banh mi.
I got the Vietnamese Pancake, also known as Banh Xeo, from here This food was awful For starters, there was just far too much oil. I generally like my foods to have oil in them, but this was really quite excessive. It was oil that didn't seem fresh either - it felt like the oil hadn't been changed in a while. Maybe the only thing that helped it a bit was that it was somewhat crispy - but still - the outside had absolutely no flavor at all and tasted like biting into a very thin cardboard. Not appealing The filling wasn't much better. It was mostly shrimp and very little pork belly - which was also disappointing. None of those really tasted that good as well Why was there just a tremendous amount of lettuce/cilantro on top? I had to remove it just to even see the pancake. That made no sense at all Overall, this was just a major miss in terms of experience. I've had a significantly better Banh Xeo in the past and won't be returning here. 3.5/10
I really appreciate your effort to bring to Seattle residents a Viet special (but not popular yet) dish of "Bò né Nha Trang". This dish is just on point yet it lacked a bit of pate, fries, some greens but the spirit of the dish remain unchanged. The special noodle pho is just under average. I dont like you put a chunk of fried steak in the bowl - it killed the texture of the protein part. The service is great : 3 front staff managed 8-9 tables of max 36 head capacity. The restroom is a bit tricky to find. I specially like the way you design the counter bar simple that make the entire restaurant look less Viet but cozy, neat amd tidy. The parking in the front is limited but other places around the restaurant is available to park
A decent place for Vietnamese cuisine. The chicken banh mi was good with the right amount of crisp and juiciness. The vegan pho was mediocre and could have been better in terms that it could have been kore flavoured. Found it on a blander side. We also tried the Bac Xiu which was amazing. It was more of a semi-liquid version of a chocolate ice cream. The interiors are cosy and rightfully depict a cafe.
A small, cute restaurant with friendly staff. Loved both the dishes we ordered including the Chicken Pho which comes with the usual servings & special fried onion which takes it to next level. also, ordered Grilled Chicken with Fried Rice. It's a simple fried rice with grilled, marinated chicken. It's a small restaurant with small size tables and the only bummer is the parking! it has only 2 parking spots allocated in front of the restaurant. We circled the entire lot and could not find any parking and had to park it outside the complex!
Although the service was great, I have to be honest about my dining experience. The pot stickers seemed to rely too much on the sauce for flavor, and the pho was surprisingly salty. I also noticed a bit of a meat-to-noodle imbalance. I had high hopes given the 4.7 rating, but the overall taste was not something I'd look forward to.
This is my first time visiting this place. We went for Bún bò Huế (S4), a flavorful and spicy beef noodle soup, along with Phở bò (P1), the classic beef pho. We also had Gỏi đu đủ (A8), the Papaya salad with Grilled Shrimp. The food here is pretty good! I truly enjoyed the flavors, especially the way they presented the dishes. They came with chili oil and hoisin sauce, which enhanced the taste even further. On the side, there was a big plate of mixed salad with lime, bean sprouts, and basil, adding a refreshing touch to the meal. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a delightful culinary experience with Vietnamese food.
Yet another 5 star! I can’t comment on the authenticity of the taste, but the fresh ingredients, flavorful broth and sauces and attentive service made our visit worth it. The reasonable prices for lunch meals, for the portions they gave, was cherry on top. We had a vermicelli pork plate, some pork spring rolls and a chicken pho. The chicken pho is unusual and harder to impress than a beef broth - but we genuinely loved it. Calls for another visit for sure.
Small shop with about 10 tables Free parking in lot Decent price on average of $15 per dish Pho broth is on the sweet side BBH is very non traditional. It s very lack in flavor of any kind, especially fish sauce. Extra broth is at $5 cost Bi Minh is the best of all at $10 per sandwich. Viet coffee is decent Parking: In front of store
The food was amazing, I had fresh rolls, egg rolls and a pork buhn mi. The service was awesome and the staff was friendly.
I really loved their food. They have small menu but everything is really good.
Its always about the broth, if thats good, everything else will follow. The pho soup meats were fresh and quality...a must go to place!!!
Food was decent. The fresh rolls were really tasty. The soup broth for the pho was much too sweet, otherwise it would have been excellent.
Small restaurant with friendly staff. Good food and great prices.
I used to come here often a year and a half ago, but the owner may have changed, but the sauce and taste of some of the food have changed. The water smells like bleach. The rice noodles are still delicious.
Very nice service good food and nice background music
Must try for viet food in Kirkland area! The restaurant is very cute and small. I highly recommend recommend the beef stew w the baguette and any of the spring rolls but the grilled pork ones are the best
Best pho on the Eastside! Great service too!
Very good Vietnam food. Strong recommend Signage is too small to see and missed first time Food
My favorite pho place in Kirkland and the surrounding cities. Staff is always friendly and attentive, eating in and takeout are great. The pho special is really good, I also like the grilled pork vermicelli dish. Spring rolls are also a great appetizers. Come here!!
Not just Pho, good food.
Great food. Affordable. Limited seating.
Best Bahn Mi for sometimes.. where do they get those crispy bread roles. Pork is not all fatty like some other places which can put you off the whole thing really easy. Nicely made, good ingredients, reasonable price.
Ive really enjoyed having cafe 79 around. Ive tried the banh mi na trang. Pro tip get extra pickled carrots. Ive had the sandwich near their opening and more recently. I think they definitely improved it. Thats awesome to see. The pork & chicken vermicelli noodle bowls have been tasty. A bit more acidity would be great but still quite tasty. Definitely my preferred noodle bowl in the area. The beef pho & bun bo hue have been tasty as well. Food overall is really a 4.5/5
Had the pho special with all the meats. Broth was a little lighter than I expected but had extra depth of flavor from the beef brisket. Liked that they had green papaya salad, I usually order this when I see its on the menu. Nice to have something thats flavorful and refreshing over the standard fried options. Good spring roll options, will have to try those next time. Service was great, the staff was super polite and attentive. The space is nice and cleaner than most other pho spots as well.
The best pho place in the Kirkland area. The flavor of the pho is really solid.
Easily the best pho and Vietnamese food anywhere around this part of the eastside. Their soup broth is rich and layered, their banh mi are fresh and the filling is delicious, their pancake is crispy and tasty. You pretty much cannot go wrong here, just absolutely fantastic food top to bottom.
I ve been a regular for pickup orders at this restaurant due to their convenient food, but my recent experiences with their service have been increasingly disappointing and leave much to be desired. Each weekend, I m told my order will be ready in 15-20 minutes. Yet, when I arrive on time, I end up waiting an additional 25 minutes or more. It s particularly irritating to see dine-in customers who arrived after me get served and finish their meals while I m still waiting. What s worse, staff members have instructed me not to wait around the counter, making me feel unwelcome and ignored. I understand that delays can happen, especially during busy times, but it seems unfair to be deprioritized just because I ve paid in advance. Such inconsistency and apparent disregard for my time and patronage are unacceptable. While the food is good , the poor service is a significant deterrent.
Edit: Changing this to 3 star since the owner said the AC issue is with the landlord, then I hope these scummy landlords fix it for them ASAP, and we did dine in the day before so whatever the problem was I hope it was fixed ---------------- We sat down and ordered 2 bowls of pho, somehow the 2 families next to us, entered and ordered after us; and with way more orders and items, all got their stuff before us (even their pho came before us), while we waited almost 30 minutes for 2 bowls of pho, so idk what happened but someone messed up there for sure Also the AC is so weak so it s HOT in here, the moment you open the door you ll notice it s probably warmer than outside on a sunny day, we were sweating eating our bowl of pho, not sure what s up with that but it sure ain t pleasant Though, the food itself is fine, their broth has better umami compared to some of the other places around here, brisket needs better cleaning or source fresher ones to get rid of that blood taste though
A little too sweet for the vietnamese food I am used to.
This is my weekly go to place for lunch...love the tofu banh mi and most vegetarian dishes. The staff is super helpful and sweet
Delicious food, the grilled pork spring rolls are amazingly good. I highly recommend this little restaurant.
Loved the special Pho here .. authentic, generous portion, so good.
We came for dinner and were extremely disappointed with the service. When we ordered, my husband spoke in Vietnamese to explain the type of beef he wanted. The staff member with the long ponytail (Vietnamese) responded in English (despite his English not better than his Vietnamese) and arrogantly assumed he knew what we meant. As a result, the dish was completely wrong. We were in a hurry and didnt want to argue. When we paid, another staff member asked for feedback. We mentioned that the beef was not what we ordered, but the ponytail guy rudely ignored us and played on his phone. We wanted to support Vietnamese businesses while traveling, but it s infuriating to be looked down upon just for speaking Vietnamese to other Vietnamese people. The food was okay, but the service deserves minus 1000 stars. We will never visit again. The attitude of that guy with the ponytail was disgraceful and unacceptable.
Chicken pho was great. Place was packed the moment it opened so it s clear everyone loves it!
Best pho on the Eastside. Its true. Great pho, rich taste, fresh ingredients and great service. Restaurant is a little small but I expect they will grow in the coming years because they are just better than the rest of Eastside pho options.
A bit of a hidden treasure the best and most authentic Vietnamese food in the area, affordable prices, in a very comfortable cafe with consistently pleasant service
Amazing experience. Food was awesome, the broth was sooo good. Extremely friendly staff as well
I agree with Hootan. I had the beef pho (rare beef) and the flavors were excellent, but the beef to noodle ratio was off...( I assume due to owners costs). There needed to be more beef with more marbling. If I had this dish again, I would incorporate my own beef.
The food was exceptional. I had the beef Pho, and it was delicious. Service was good. I absolutely recommend Cafe 79.
Cozy little place. Can get a bit crowded, but the food was outstanding.
Not a good experience. We were patiently waiting at the door for 20 minutes with high expectation. But after we ordered, we were just sitting there 40 minutes INVISIBLY without any food. Waiting for our appetizer but only see the exact same food we ordered served to other tables, even for people who come later than us. Did not have any service experience honestly. The meat quality is okay, but saw a DEAD FLY in the soup which disgust me out. The pho is not charged in the end but seriously, not gonna try this again
Love coming here to this local small shop that is very cleanly (their bathroom proves it). The food is delicious and very flavorful, run and served by Vietnamese. They have a small menu with lots of Vietnamese classics like the egg pancake you don t see often!! If you get their Vietnamese coffee, just beware it s very strong (and delicious). Maybe share it with a friend.
Great place
The fried egg rolls and bun bo Hue were decent, but they didnt really wow me.
Small cozy place with friendly staff and wonderful food at a reasonable price! I cant even post a good picture as we already consumed a bunch prior to taking the pics.
The best pho and banh mi I ve had in the United States. And very comfortable for our daughter too. Thank you!
The service was really nice
The grilled chicken bahn mi was really good!
Food was very good
Good food
The BEST Pho place I ve been too! The pho was absolutely amazing and the pork Bahn Mi just melted in your mouth. The strawberry milk tea was also really good!
Great food. Salmon spring rolls were amazing! Pho was so fresh.
Ordered the pot stickers and chicken Pho. Wow. Great food. Would highly recommend.
What a great find. Linh the owner is the nicest. Restaurant is clean and staff all very kind. Food was delicious. I had the shrimp papaya salad and salmon spring rolls. If you haven t been definitely check em out. I can t wait to try the pho next time.
This is a small restaurant that punches way above its weight. The food is simple but excellent and worth the drive as it is a bit out of the way. The starter fresh rolls are of amazing. Personal favorites are the meat ones that are often difficult to find. Taking some of the dishes as take out is very much worth it also and very well packaged.
Vegetarian Pho is excellent. Flavorful broth, lots of veggies and tofu. Tofu spring rolls some of the best weve had. Fresh, great flavor and texture (with a little crunch inside). Peanut sauce good, not too sweet like some others. Vegetarian options: Excellent Vegetarian Pho and Spring rolls. Bun (noodle salad) is great also
Absolutely delicious food, wonderful staff, and cute cafe! I loved the tofu bahn mi and the milk tea was great.
Its a small restaurant so not a lot of seating, but its worth the wait time or get it to go if you live in the area. I visited from out of town so I waited about 15 minutes for a seat and Im so glad I did cause this was the best bowl of pho Ive ever had and I LOVE pho. I would go here weekly if I lived closer. The broth was so flavorful that I didnt have to add lime, hoisen or any other sauce. The broth was piping hot when it reached me and the small was really filling for me. It was about $13 with tax so not a bad price for a fantastic bowl of soup on a cold rainy day. I will say that I got pot stickers and the flavor was ok, but they were not cooked all the way so they were a bit chewy. I ate 2 out of the 6. I ate 2 only cause I thought maybe the 1st one I had just didnt quite get cooked enough, but it was all of them. I think it was becausecthey were super busy so I wasnt upset about it and the waitress was very friendly and took the charge of the bill without me asking. I highly recommend cafe 79
Meat ball taste bad
A compact place to enjoy Pho and more.
Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and hard working. The price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this place, it feels very homy.
We lived in Asia for years, have been to Vietnam many times, and ate countless phos there. We didnt expect to get an authentic taste of Vietnam in this part of the world. Well, we just found it in this small eatery in Kirkland! Fantastic beef pho and the best service!Thank you! We will be back! :)
Specialty dishes (bo kho), pho and chicken bahn mi were all amazing.
We passed many Vietnamese restaurants to get here and we are very happy we did. Easily one of the best pho restaurants and the potstickers were delicious
The best! Clean and delicious food
We dine in and get take out here all the time. The staff is super nice and the food is always fresh and delicious. Great pho and excellent bahn mi.
I drove here yesterday but they were closed for MLK day. I came back today so I could try it and Im SHOCKED and upset that I didnt find out about this place until now! I live less than 2 miles away and Ive been driving to downtown Bellevue to try and find good pho. No need! The perfect bowl is right in Bridle trails! The employees, the atmosphere, perfect. Even the tables were nice, it was clean, pleasant... perfect, even. But the Pho!! Oh my god, the pho.... I spent a month solo in Vietnam last year and this restaurant brought back all the memories. I got the p#1. The broth was 100% spot on, aromatic, the sprouts were fresh and crunchy, the basil looked same-day fresh. The large bowl had a good portion of meat. I arrived here cranky, and left completely content in a mild sweat and kind of dizzy with euphoria. I will be absolutely coming back here as frequently as my wallet allows. Im so grateful that this place exists.
Taste great! This is a top Eastside Pho.
I love this place
The pancake was a bit oily itself but good with pho soup together. We wanted to share the pho so asked for extra bowl and spoon but only got bowl, we had ask again for spoon, service can be improved since sharing pho is pretty common scenario. Food : 4/5
Really nice
Short ribs looked very oily and tasted low quality ingredients. Beef in the pho had a similar low quality taste. Restaurant staff is good.
Sauce 10, Broth 12. Noodle good. Crispy roll.
Cozy place and good service, pho was very good.
This is by far the best pho place on the Eastside. Friendly staff and delicious food. The owner wakes up early and cooks the broth for 6 hours, authentic pho at its finest.
Nice low key place with yummy pho and vermicelli noodles. Will be having from here again. Rating 4 as vermicelli could have been more flavorful
The only reason Im rating 3 is because I only liked three things on the menu that is chicken pho. And the pork banh mi.. those two were my favorite! The pot stickers were not good at all , egg rolls werent small they were tiny being 3 for $7 not worth it. Also the third thing I liked was the taro boba drink I loved it ! I also did try the beef pho and it wasnt as good as the chicken pho. And I also tried the beef banhmi that was okay ....for being a high rating spot I expected every single thing to be good not just two things out of 8 things I tried..
Food was very good and not pricy at all compared to some of the other options in the area. Staff was very friendly!
Tried the spring rolls - fresh, crispy and flavorful. Amazing. Recommend.
For the Banh Mi All the ingredients are so fresh and tasty, bread is light but still crunchy which is great, definitely coming back to try their pho too
Delicious pho! Very cute restaurant, will definitely be going back!
their sandwich Banh Mi was so good the bread was fresh and crunchy. The flavor of meat was well balanced(not too sweet).
great little Vietnamese place!!! great pho and vermicelli!!! great atmosphere! everybody is very friendly! first time i tried Vietnamese food in Calgary, AB, Canada and love Vietnamese food since!!!
Their beef pho is amazing as well their grilled pork spring rolls!
Very good experience, the staff is a little hard to understand, but I take that as a good authentic sign, plus they were very helpful and friendly. The small chicken pho was good and could be considered a medium. Price was good as well at $9. Banh Mi sandwich was also delicious. All the ingrediants they used were very fresh and full of flavor. They even have a few bottles of kombucha to choose from. Would highly recommend this place.
The food is good, but when the amount of protein given is really small. I wish that they were to give more tofu in their tofu pho.
Love the delivery service. It was fast and my food is hot and delicious!!!! Thank you will order again
Nice place
Banh mi and grilled items are excellent. Pho is good enough but not spectacular by Seattle standards. Overall solid pick for a casual meal around Kirkland/Redmond area.
cute little place.. we ordered tofu and chicken banh mi both were delicious !!
Amazing food and great service! The server s shirt said We are happy you are here on the back, and it showed.
Great pho and milk drinks.
The Pho was very clean tasting and super flavorful. Was on my way up coming from camping at the Gorge and this was the perfect meal. Staff friendly as well. Food : 5/5
Everything I have ever eaten has been phenomenal. I love this place. I keep coming back!
My go-to pho in Kirkland! Very friendly owner and delicious food
Ive been trying to find a banh mi with pate for so long and they have one here! So good and love the simplicity of the menu. They even have specialty dishes that you cant find at every viet spot. Definitely coming back to try the banh xeo and bo kho.
fantastic vietnamese resturant, but would be nice if they were available for DashPass since DoorDash charges crazy fees on this resturant ($7 delivery, $16 service fee for 3 items and I live in Redmond)
Good neighborhood Pho place. Better price than other Vietnamese places. Good for quick lunch.
Their vermicelli with beef is really really good and I like the sauce a lot for the pork spring rolls as well.
Everything about this restaurant was good. The chile oil was really nice and not super oily. Each bite was a tickling tantalizing tootle of the taste buds. I would highly recommend to anyone when in the kirkland area to visit this finely run establishment.
Probably best pho on the eastside, deep flavor, and friendly service!
Ordered an s1, s2, and n1. S1 is basically 1/3 shredded chicken breast with rice for $15, ridiculously overpriced. I didn t know it was possible to cremate chicken by boiling it and the sauce was waaaaaay too sweet. S2 was the pancake was was blackened to oblivion. It was very bitter because it was so black and there were strips of inedible strips of something, maybe pork skin? S3 was the only edible plate but the vermicelli got shredded to quarter inch bits, impossible to eat with chopsticks.
Delicious food with excellent service, we re becoming regulars!
Wow. At a loss for words. The last thing I expected in my special pho was a piece of deep fried jerky that tasted like dirty fryer oil. The 5-hour cooked beef in the Bo Bun Hue was so dry my tongue felt like sandpaper after. Impressive considering it was in soup. In short - avoid the soups
Delicious and affordable pho, like it
I bring coworkers here for lunch whenever Im in the area. They are always impressed. Great food, great service.
Best beef vermicelli noodles I ve ever had!
Came here alone based on review. Asked me to put name and number in waitlist. They keep letting in larger groups first asking me to wait 5 more minutes each time. Ended up waiting for 25 minutes. At the end just left feeling disgusted. Their food may be good but not how they run business. Response to owner: Those groups did not come before me. I was second on the waitlist. Your employee came out, scanned all the people waiting and asked how many people are in the group then let them in first. Dont try to make this into my misunderstanding. Im sure my review wont impact your business that much but at least Im not going back.
Fast, friendly, clean and delicious. I come here several times a month. Great vermicelli bowls.
Not my favorites food . But it s a nice place and friendly staff.
AWESOME SUSHI and Craftbeer combination I think it is unique combination Very interesting Sushi quality is nice and tap list pretty good I love here
Best Pho I ve. Ever. Had. Tried the Nha Trang Dumpling and then the Pho Special. Super tender 1/4 thick brisket in a savory beef broth. Both were tasty and a cut above typical Pho places. Wow!
Loved the food. Papaya salad was so good. Tried their special pan cake and pho and those were amazing as well. Kids loved the spring rolls too.
Decent food, clean, nice, and pleasant environment. Serve delicious and quality food. Provide great service, and welcoming atmosphere. Give it a try, you won t regret.
It is a nice clean place offering vietnamese quick bites. There are only a few tables inside, parking might be difficult. Their pricing is a bit strange ($3 for additional topping, same as upgrade to large). We went with our young kid and they treated nice. Banh mi starts at $10. Pho was okay, smells good, but I tasted MSG ( nothing wrong with MSG but good for reference)
Good location. However, still too little meat in the Pho Special for the price.
Super tasty food! I got the beef stew, which I had never had before, and oh my god I will definitely be going back just for that! It comes with a tasty baguette for dipping, and the meat and veggies were perfectly cooked in a unique and tasty broth. The service was also efficient and attentive, even though we came with a large group.
The grilled pork in vermicelli was amazing, accompanied by a tasty sauce. I could tell theyd craft excellent banh mi based on it. The service was nice too. Ill definitely come back soon.
It was great the stew especially was pretty good. I am 9 years old and I approve of this restaurant and I will come back
We love this place! It s a great little family run business. We ve been there 3 times and everything we ve ordered has been wonderful. The staff is very friendly, too.
Excellent food, friendly efficient staff. So appreciate this new restaurant.
The food is fabulous! We ordered egg rolls, the pho special, and the Vietnamese pancake. Everything was great. Service is excellent. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean, and it was a good experience with kids. Also, the taro milk tea is top notch.
I have been searching for a restaurant that has Banh Mi with pate, which is my favorite style. But, for an appetizer, I had to try A5, Fresh Spring Rolls Ninh Hoa; it had grilled minced pork in them and I had not had this style before. It was delicious and the dipping sauce was perfect with it. Lot of fresh veggies in the roll instead of the copious amounts of rice noodles that other restaurants use as a cheap filler. After that, I had the B4. Banh Ni Nha Trang. It had pork belly, ham, pork jerky, and pate. It also was excellent. Nice balance of meat and fresh veggies. The roll was good, but not excellent; a fresher, crustier roll would have been nice. The young woman running the cafe was very pleasant and charming. On the day that I went, the kitchen was backed up and slow; she said that they were short-staffed that day. She also said that they had just opened recently and were still trying to work out the kinks. The name Cafe 79 comes from the prefecture that her family lived in their southern Vietnam city. It was a source of pride and place for them.
Extremely friendly and sincere staff, serving absolutely incredible food! Its clear theyre putting all their heart into their restaurant.
I forgot to take a picture because I inhaled it too quickly, but I still daydream about their Banh Mi Nha Trang. Would also highly recommend their Banh Xeo (pictured here). The staff is always so kind and caring. We ll be back soon for more delicious food and great service!
We enjoyed lunch here from the appetizers, pork banh mi, pork chops, spicy beef noodle. All were tasty with good service
Very fresh ingredients and great taste. Not a usual Vietnamese pho restaurant in town. Must try!
Very good pho and spring rolls. Reach broth, well cooked meat.
Incredible, family owned and operated in Bridle Trails. Pho broth is outstanding! Clean and very welcoming! Go!
Love their Banh mi - the grilled pork filling was so tasty. I also recommend their iced coffee with condensed milk. Best Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood!
Got the Special Pho. The broth was bland, meats were tough to eat, and the noodles were undercooked.
I Love this place. The food is amazing and the people are too. I dropped my AirPods the last time I dined, they found them and saved them for my next visit. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the people are!
The food is authentic the place is clean and friendly. Great service. I highly recommend to try the Vietnamese coffee is you are a coffee person.
I love the chill atmosphere and great tasting and healthy food.
As I was looking for a comforting bowl of noodle soup on a rainy, Monday afternoon (around 3pm), I came across Cafe 79. Upon entering the restaurant, I chose my own seat and ordered fresh spring rolls and the pho special. The server brought my utensils, along with a bottle of hot sauce and hoisin sauce soon after I placed my order. The fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork was quite nice. The ingredients were fresh and the peanut sauce was well balanced between savory and sweet. The pho special came with the usual assortment of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeno, and lime wedge on the side, and it definitely hit the spot for me! The broth was very heartwarming. There was a good amount of protein: the brisket was soft and tender, the steak cooked rare and delicious, the tendon had the right amount of texture, and the meatballs were well seasoned. Service was great here also! I also noticed many Vietnamese-speaking customers came and grabbed takeout as I was enjoying my food. I will have to return in the future with some friends to try out other menu items. Their banh mi and Vietnamese coffee appear to be a great choice for a quick to-go lunch option also. Will be back!
The servers not wearing mask and talking over the serving dishes arent very welcomed personally. If you do dont really care, this place is good for pho noodle. Food is fresh authentic, and servers are friendly, but I would rather to prefer a quiet server when no masked.
Food are tasty and the people are friendly. Great place for lunch/ dinner.
Excellent pho. The broth is mellow and well balanced. It has a very good flavor and is not oily at all. There was plenty of meat that was much better quality than I ve seen elsewhere. The greens were fresh. The grilled pork spring rolls were a positive spin on a classic. Peanut sauce is good without being all peanut flavor. This is a great little spot that deserves a try.
Very kind
Food is very good! Service was also good! Have never been to a Vietnamese restaurant but will definitely be back.
Food made with care , beautiful small store and great service. Highly recommend
Healthy and delicious, efficient service and friendly price. Love it!
Its very nice and clean. People on the phone were super nice too. Popped in for a drinks on a walk. We ordered thai iced tea boba (made to order fresh) and a coconut water (Costco Kirkland Brand is the best). Both high quality and better than the boba place. Fair prices for all items. We will be back. Tesla employees enjoy ordering food from here often.
Really great food, friendly and attentive staff. All of the food was great the phó broth was rich, but also not heavy, it had a nice brightness to it. The food was good, reasonable price point, I will be coming back and I recommend this place! Parking: They have 2 spots right in front of their door for parking.
The food was great I tried the pot stickers and the sauce with the green onions was excellent along with the beef phó it most delicious.
Decent lunch spot
There was very little Bo Kho soup in the take out container. I was very disappointed as I have eaten dine in and gotten a pretty good amount of soup. If you are ready to pay 13 dollars for a small cup of soup, then go ahead. DO NOT order takeout from this restaurant. I will probably not come again as this has tarnished the reputation of this restaurant.
The food is amazing! Every dish we had was flavorful and cooked well. The pho special is highly recommended - the meatballs are fragrant and flavorful, the brisket slices plentiful and fatty, the tendon portions large, and the broth sweet and very flavorful. Staff is friendly and attentive. Ambience is modern and clean. Ive been to quite a few pho places and this is definitely up there in the top 3.
The cafe is a small casual restaurant with great food. We ve had various of the pho dishes and the vermicelli noodles. The food has alway been fresh, attractive, and tasty. Service is prompt and polite. Recommended.
delicious VERMICELLI pork noodle yum
Delicious!
We tried beef pho, pork banh mi, spring rolls with shrimp and with grilled pork. Everything was absolutely delicious!
Best banh mi and spring rolls in town! Ask them to spice it up with some Thai chilis if you like a little heat.
Good pho place in rose hill neighborhood.
overtly sweet pho broth and wings taste like stinky rug and dry as dead Dumbledore
Love the crunch of the spring rolls, so fresh too, the grilled meats were flavorful, and bubble teas tastes good. Would have liked the bun bo hue soup more spicy but you can add more spice if you want. Overall, a nice relaxing atmosphere and great food!
Just fine
My new go to for vietnamese coffee (ca phe sua da). It reminds me of what I get in Vietnam - *warning* its strong.
Nice food. Definitely worth a try!
Was really hungry before shopping and stopped by on a whim. It was an excellent decision!! Everything was incredibly delicious. The meat was so flavorful and the sauces complimented the food perfectly. Definitely recommend!
Petty damn tasty. We moved pretty far from our absolute favorite vietnamese place, so have been looking for comparable options...well come back here again.
I used to frequent a Vietnamese restaurant near my home since I was a child. Ever since COVID they were taken up by new owners and Thier broth has never been the same. This restaurant, this blessed restaurant, re created that same feeling I had when I was a child. The broth melts in your mouth with a soft undertaking of each flavor mixed in. The noodles perfectly cooked, and there isnt too much or little of one thing. Amazing sauce for the pork egg rolls and not to mention everything is cooked perfectly and arrived in good time. The prices are also extremely fair. A large portion lasted me in the restaurant and once more at home for only 12$! Specialties go for 15$ but I did not see anything on the menu for more than 17$. Again, Im so happy this place is able to somewhat recreate that taste I had oh so many years ago. Never have I had a restaurant get this close with such fair prices to boot. Stunninglu brilliant cudos to you and I wish you the best buisness!!!
Great tasting pho, but please turn on your AC! Its hard to enjoy hot soup while baking in the restaurant.
Everything weve had from here so far is fresh and flavorful! The pork chop over fried rice is already a favorite for my children and the chicken wings were crisp and garlicky. They seem quite careful about separating peanuts when allergy concerns are mentioned, and are accommodating about leaving out ingredients when requested. I look forward to trying their banh mi and more appetizers in the future. This well-run little family restaurant is a terrific addition to this area of Kirkland.
This my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant! Ive tried their Special Pho, which tasted very different and unique (in a very good way) that makes you want to come back for more. They add different kinds of meat that I didnt expect but ended up loving. Also have had their pork Bahn Me, which was so tasty and the fresh was so fresh! They pork spring rolls with the peanut sauce is also a really good starter. Cant wait to keep coming back and trying more dishes!
We ve tried most, if not all, of the pho places in Kirkland over the last 10 years and I do NOT understand all these 5 star reviews. The minced pork fresh spring rolls were definitely good but the chicken wings were awful (not crunchy, no coating), the rare beef pho was meh, and the pork vermicelli was not good. Lacking in flavor (had to add more sambal oelek and cilantro at home) and the pork was insanely grisly. Yuck.
The food was great. I had kho bo soup/stew.
Tasty Vietnamese food, the staff is super friendly, and the place is very clean. Definitely coming back here :)
I love the food here it soooo gooooood don t believe me? go there and checked out
Great food, super friendly staff, small little gem of a place
I m a pho fanatic and have been to many Vietnamese restaurants claiming to have good pho, but have been let down many times for just a basic lack of well-developed flavors. No complaints here; the beef pho is very good and worth a good review! I m getting over a stupid cold, and love a good spicy pho to help clear me out, and I started feeling like a new person as I was enjoying my beef pho. I m excited to try the rest of the menu, which looks amazing; and the prices seem very reasonable for the quality and serving size.
Absolutely delicious! But they dont know that you get your appetizer before your entree.
My kids and I got here 7:40. The guy by the counter was on the phone for 3min. We stood there waiting. After he hanged up the phone he told us they were closing at 8 so they couldnt seat us and we could only order to go. there was at least one table where a couple was waiting for their food. I wanted to ask him what if I order food immediately - how we were different from that other waiting table. But then, why bother wasting time for a business that didn t care about my business.
all menu i tried was awesome. this is the restaurant of the year!!!
Great vietnamese restaurant for comfort food. Clean, great food, fast service, couldnt expect more.
Pho was perfect. Super clean restaurant, super nice and friendly staff!!! While I was eating a handicapped customer was finishing up and was not able to communicate but it was obvious this customer wanted to give a fist bump to the staff to say goodbye, all the staff came over to say goodbye in a very genuine way and you could really see his face light up. I love this restaurant and have ate here twice while in town, it s very unfortunate that I m only here temporarily for a work assignment. Please visit and support this lovely lil cafe!!!!
So clean. So good. Will come to this place over most of pho/vietnamese restaurants
A friend and I came in for lunch on a cold day and warmed right up with great pho! We started with the pork fresh rolls before each getting a small chicken pho. Both dishes were excellent! The small pho was so large that we couldn t finish it - I can t imagine how big the large is!
This has become my go-to quick meal. The food is delicious, the portions are huge, and the staff is friendly. So far, Ive ordered the Pho Special, Beef Pho, many types of spring rolls, Vermicelli noodles, and Vietnamese coffee. I would order all of them again, but my favorite combination go-to meal is: 1) grilled pork spring rolls, 2) Pho Special, and 3) Vietnamese coffee. If you live in the area, highly recommend giving them a try.
Very clean place starting from its restroom to recycling sauce bottles. Fast and kind service! Fresh products-small, cozy place with sufficient customers service.
This was on my way to the office, it s been years since remote work, so was a little excited to be out and explore new to me eateries. The reviews look promising! Ordered Pho Special (one size only), $16. Oh this broth! Clean beefy flavor with hint of the herbs. Lots of meat! The brisket was averaged, not super tender and does not taste any different. I actually prefer regular brisket, like pieces with tendon for texture. This doesn t take anything away from what I enjoyed with this pho. Fresh made noodles would have elevated this though! Overall worth it especially if you re sharing, I could barely finished.
This is the BEST restaurant i ever been to, wonderful foods and wonderful services. Don t believe me?? U can go to there and check it out. Vegetarian options: I m a Vegetarian person <3
