I recently visited this place for breakfast, and while the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, I was a bit disappointed with the menu. As someone who doesn t eat pork, I found the options limited. There wasn t much in terms of beef or chicken choices, so my options felt somewhat restricted. I decided to try [dish you ordered], but unfortunately, it didn t meet my expectations. The flavor was a bit lacking, and the texture wasn t quite what I had hoped for. I understand every place has its specialties, but I was hoping for a bit more variety, especially for those with dietary preferences like mine. Overall, while I appreciate the effort, I think the menu could use more variety, especially for people who don t eat pork. I ll likely explore other options in the area next time

came here for breakfast a few times. everytime i went service was amazing!! fast timing with food even when they were slammed with people they still manged to have food out super fast!! tastes super good and worth the amount of food you get with the price your paying!!

Tex-Mex Cobb salad was excellent.

Only issue, Home fries are still deep fried, would expect them to be cooked properly on a griddle considering its a breakfast place. Nothing like the Hamilton location. Been at this location many times this time I saw my server twice, once when I was seated, next when I got my food. It wasnt busy many open tables, no refills on coffee had to flag down the manager to pay my bill. Quality is definitely going downhill as opposed to what it was 2 years ago

Normally the quality is reliable but today the bacon and the toast were nearly burnt and the waffle was heavy/doughy. I waited til after lunch so it was less busy.

When you want canadian breakfast you go to canadian restaurant. Mainly because they know what goes good with breakfast as we were raised up here eating. Been to stacked pancakes in niagara, toronto, etc. The food was amazing. Quality was the same until i went to this location. You guys actually ruined the quality of stacked pancakes.

Our server was Vidit, he was super friendly super attentive and all around fantastic I give the food a 5 and it fully deserves it! Everything was fantastic! The Banana bread French toast was mouth watering! Service was also A+ with the server we had (Vidit) being attentive and helpful but not annoying by checking in too much. The only reason I give the atmosphere a 4 is the waiting area! With such a positive amazing clean atmosphere the area in which people wait for tables or service is extremely small. This isnt the fault of the business itself but rather the building design. That being said they do take people names in list order with phone numbers and text people when they have a table available in the order the names arrive which I think is a fantastic way to allow customers to wait for a table without feeling like wasting their time. The only other reason atmosphere gets a 4 star is the parking. Again due to no fault of their own there is not the most parking available at such a amazing Kitchener hot spot! Stacked is the place to visit if youre looking for a tasty breakfast and lunch. Its tasty, healthy, and mouth-watering . They have a verity of dishes to choose from and enjoy. Vegetarian options: Available. Parking: 15-20 Kid-friendliness: Kids special meal and menu available.

I placed a large order for pick up this morning for the office. The order was ready quickly, the staff were incredibly friendly, and everything in our order was exactly as specified. The staff went above and beyond and labelled everything for each of my coworkers, right down to the bags of side toast. I really appreciate the effort!

Perfect Sunday breakfast spot

Went Sunday morning. Do not go here if you want to visit. As soon as meal was done a rude hostess came over and said we had to leave. This was after 30 mins at our table. We werent even done our coffee. We said we arent done yet. Came back again and told us they had a wait list and needed our table. Very rude and bad way to do business. We understand weekends are busy but if you want us to come during the week when you are slower you need better customer service on peak times.

She even got a birthday pancake with a candle in it and that was super delicious because the four of us shared. It is a nice cosy place. I also bought Their homemade jam, excellent. Went there for breakfast on Sunday, the food was alright, Ive never found their food to be great but the service was horrible, our waiter didnt check up and just kinda threw our food on the table and left just overall not good experience, I dont think Ill be going back

Excellent breakfast. Had the Express option. Breakfast sausages done perfectly and like the fact you have the option to add onions to the home fries. Very attentive wait staff, reasonable prices. I will be back to try the pancakes, I ve heard you need a healthy appetite for that choice.

The food selection is broad, there are some lower-calorie options, and the wait staff are pleasant and prompt (kudos to Pranjali) perfect unfussy breakfast and lunch spot.

The Express breakfast was just enough for me, and portions were fair for the price! Home fries were actually good, not soggy like other breakfast joints that just grill them.

They never let me and my wife down. I love this place, first breakfast with my ex girlfriend was here, now she s my wife. We still go there, and I am sure that we making friends there. Only thing bother me is when the seat back to back, some child are keep kicking the seat and they parents are not stop them.

I remember years ago this place being a Tim Hortons. Boy did Stacked Pancake do a great job.on the building. Its not a big building but it can take in enough customers. Parking can be tight but right behind this place is free Zehrs parking. So tables, floor, washrooms are nice and clean. From what I saw of the kitchen it was spotless considering they were cooking up a storm. So lets get down to the food. I ordered the usual 3 eggs with 2 sausages, ham. It also comes with toast and home fries. It was perfect on every way. Presentation, hot and very tasty. Forgot to mention that the selection was Huge. I will definitely be coming back here. Oh wait I already did. Lol.

Two servers, lots of missed service. Second menu and cutlery requested were not given, asked the second server for them. Napkin requested from second server, never received. Coffee offered to next table, not us. I had to make a request to also get more coffee. Plates not cleared after being finished, had to go to counter to get bill and pay. Bacon was too greasy, so I used my only napkin to sop up the grease. Potatoes had already been salted heavily. Scrambled eggs were not mixed up well.

Went last weekend with my husband and it was pretty disappointing. It was a Sunday morning so waiting to be seated took a bit longer, but we were forgiving because of the morning rush. Once we were seated, we ordered out drinks and waited for them to arrive. In the time of us waiting, the two tables beside us were seated, ordered drinks, had their drinks served and had ordered their food. Eventually another waiter asked us if we had ordered, and my husband said that we ordered drinks and they had not been served. He promptly got our drinks and took our breakfast order after the two tables beside us had already been served. Once we finally got our food, it was pretty mid at best and neither of us really enjoyed it, however the waiter never came to check on us about the food, or how anything was at that. The two tables beside us had cashed out and left. When we were finished, we waited 30 minutes for someone to even clear our plates and bring us the bill. Spent almost $65 dollars for two, small breakfasts that didnt even taste that great. No military discount, bad service.

The food was good. No complaints about food. My issue is with the staff. We felt completely ignored. They never check on us nothing. Bearly spoke to us. They have 10 staff walking around and they have terrible service. What was supposed to be a quick breakfast on a Tuesday turned into being there over an hour because they never came with the bill they never came with our toast. They just gave us our plate and left. No conversation. So odd. I did not like it. It was weird.

Theres bad and then theres Stacked bad. Love finding out that they 2 types of waffles: one house made and one from a box. Nothing better than finding out the stacked waffles is the boxed version and apparently its my fault for not knowing. And yes, the boxed ones are dense, dry and flavourless. Servers take the order and thats it. Quality check? Nah. Coffee top up? Never heard of it. This place is a joke. Tear it down.

Firstly the customer service here is amazing. The point you walk in the door you are treated like a priority. I love it. Is so hard to find great service these days. We love going here and would highly recommend it. Secondly, the food matches the level of service. Absolutely amazing.

This place is too good!!! I always come just for the standard breakfast and always end up with one of the stacks, which include pancakes. They have maple syrup as well, which is amazing. Dont get the Buffalo chicken poutine, I got burnt bacon, stale fries, no cheese and pretty much no gravy. Guess I should of got pancakes at the pancake place instead lol

This was our first time here, and we will absolutely be going back. The staff was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the service was prompt even though the restaurant was full. We got the pancake stack and the waffle stack and both were great.

I think giving them a 1 star review is far beyond generous but unfortunately there is no option for minus 5 stars. Do not waste your money on this restaurant. The staff are not knowledgeable regarding what their food is supposed to contain. I placed an order on uber eats and after a couple minutes I saw an extra charge. I called the restaurant and the person who picked up advised the extra charge was because I requested onions in my breakfast burger but the breakfast burger does not come with onions. I explained to him that on uber eats it says it comes with onions and he denied that severally until he double checked then called back to apologize for his error. I asked for the extra charge to be reversed and he said he does not know how to do it and could contact uber eats to have the issue resolved but the restaurant is too busy now to make such call. I told him I will reach out to uber. Uber said they are not able to do an adjustment without the restaurant. I called the restaurant back asking to speak with a manager so the issue could be looked into. The manager did not even allow me to finish my sentence before dismissing me saying if you do not like the food then there is nothing we can do about it you can rate us on uber or order elsewhere. I told him he did not give me the space to even explain my concern and he kept on repeating the same rude and dismissive sentence. It is very clear that the staff and management do no know what they are doing and do not care about customer service or retention. Pls save your money and order from anywhere else!

I ve visited this location on March 14, 2024 I had the worst customer service experience at this location my food arrive cold and not once did the server come over to check to see how our food was until they wanted to clear our table and bring us the bill. They then asked how it was well obviously not good if my plate is still full I then proceeded to ask for my breakfast to be removed from my bill and I was told that I should ve said something when I first got my food first of all, not once did a server come over to my table, and when I confronted him, he said he was busy Well, that s not my problem. He then proceeded to tell me that I should ve went and looked for someone. They refused to void it from my bill, so I asked if they could make me something else to go and he refused to do that as well. He said that the waiter would have to pay for the breakfast again, that s not my problem I work hard for my money as well. That is just terrible customer service I also sent email to head office

This is an older stacked outlet but the people are very nice and the food is great no complaints at all loved it.

Phone ordered here for pickup. Was hung up on twice, I assume by mistake and I decided to call back a third time and placed an order for pickup. Blueberry pancakes were fantastic. Western omelette was disappointing. With fries it barely filled 1/2 the takeout container.

Their eggs Benedict are AMAZING and service is always great here, even when theyre busy. The pancakes are VERY sweet so if youre not looking for a toothache Id recommend sticking to the other breakfast items. The crepes are bad. Probably the worst crepes Ive ever had. Theyre hard and dry and you only get 2 which is actually for the best. I havent tried their omlettes but they look so good. Im going to try one next time.

First time visiting stacked. Ambience is very dull and dark, not bright. Waited 4-5 mins to get glass of water. The waffle was great with fruits and the sugar icing. Unfortunately when the food came out, so did 2 fruit flies- a bit concerning as to the condition of the kitchen/food in the back. No alternative milk options for my latte, home fries are frozen and not fresh. Smoothies aren t fresh either, use simple syrups. The server was knowledgeable and polite, however she never came to check on the food once it was served or if we needed anything else. Only to offer a take out box when we put plates to the side. Overall not impressed to return.

This location has THE BEST service and staff I have EVER encountered at a restaurant. Your people are AMAZING!!! Every single time I come here, the staff are smiling, friendly, helpful and provide excellent and prompt service. They also provide great recommendations when wanting to try new things. I wish yall could be cloned and put into every single establishment, then the world would be a better place. The food is bomb too. ALTHOUGH - shout out to the franchise - you guys need to bring back the steak and eggs Benedict. I dream of this dish and look forward to coming for the staff and that dish. It has been my go to and when I visited this past weekend I was informed that IT WAS DISCONTINUED and replaced with pulled pork?! Eww - No thanks. PLEASEEEEEEE BRING IT BACK!!!!!

Everything was good just sat near the doors and doors keep opening and closes it was very cold. Also a little wierd that the other patrons wait to be seated were waiting on the wall right beside are table, felt like we were being watch our whole breakfast. It was a long weekend and very busy.

Our waitress did not come back once after our food arrived. Id totally understand if the place was busy but it wasnt. We had to ask another server for a coffee refill. When we were ready to pay our bill and waited forever hoping someone would come by but never did... we asked another random server for our bill, then another server again for our bill then ANOTHER....finally we got it paid and left. The food is mediocre at best to boot. I would highly recommend avoiding this establishment.

Decent, if forgettable food. Service was very good, but its always so noisy when dining in. Hardwood floors, wooden furniture, almost bare walls makes all conversations echo like crazy. The breakfast is less greasy than Wimpys, and the lunch menu is sparse which is to be expected of a breakfast restaurant. Having had the breakfast on a previous visit, it was only okay. The lunch food was the same. Decently priced, but not exactly flavoured. There are a lot more options that offer tastier food, better variety and a more conversation friendly environment if youre willing to pay a little more for it.

Not enough all day breakfast places! Stacked needs to stay open later. The food is really good and the prices are average. The service could do with more staff at times, but no complaints otherwise :)

Ordered breakfast from here. Food was fine but there was a very sharp piece of glass/plastic in the food. This would have been really bad if someone had swallowed it and they probably did if other smaller shards were present in the food and we didnt notice.

The insane efficiency of the service leaves you wondering how and why other places are not this fast. The food was near instantaneous and the portion and contents of other patron s plates left me with buyers regret. I never had to ask for a refill or wonder where my server was. This has to be one of the most solid choices for breakfast on K-W!

Service is friendly and warm and the food is always hot, delicious and accurate. Im shocked theres not always a huge line out the door - this is my favourite breakfast place. Their signature stacks are particularly delicious.

The pancakes and omlettes are amazing at stacked. Without a doubt it is one of the best breakfast places but this outlet should keep more cleanliness. We went early morning and there was a fly hovering around throughout our breakfast.. it was annoying !! But the food was great and our server was super nice!

This location in Kitchener is not all like the Stacked in Waterloo. The coffee was terrible and the tea had no flavour at all. The Egg white omelette (with about a teaspoon of diced chicken in it) was runny and didn t taste right. The turkey bacon was cold and had no flavour. They are serving a teaspoon size portion of packaged guacamole and diced tomatoes and calling it pica de gallo. Even the home fries were like tasteless cardboard. It might have been the worst food we ve ever had. We will never go back.

Im not sure why extra salt is sprinkled on the food when there is salt on the table. It was too salty for me. Perhaps Ill order an omelette if I pop in for a quick breakfast again!

A different server dropped our food off because our server was busy. She did not come and check on us once. Only came once I went up and told them we had finished all our food. Disappointed.

The food was so great , refill coffee all the time
