19 Cameron St S, Kitchener, ON N2G 3N1, Canada
Eatery serving Chinese fare, including dim sum & seafood dishes, in an elevated setting.
I've been enjoying food here for several years. Service is very good as well. Great place to share a delicious meal with friends and family.
One of the best Dim sum in Waterloo. Service is proactive and appropriate. Beef with soy sauce rice noodle is not cooked well, the steamed bean curd roll with pork is a little bit salty. The rest of the food is great. A good place for Cantonese food.
Trying this tea house as it was my coworker's favourite, I would say it's fairly good, I'd prefer the other tea house nearby more. I feel most of the dimsum has some room for improvement, e.g. the skin of the hagao is easily broken, not much taste from the siumai and fried squid, weird taste from the tripe, too salty for the bean curd roll; the up to quality dish were fried dumplings, bbq pork bun (can be a bit bigger), rice roll with beef, beef ball, and shrimp spring roll. Service is very good, servers are all sharp and polite; plates and tea cups are very clean, we usually have to wash them once by ourselves when we go to any tea house but here we obviously didn't have to do so. To be honest, I would have taken one star out for the slightly disappointed taste but I called several times to book table, cancel table, enquire about the dimsum serving time, every time the staffs are just always patient and kind, so I'll stick with 5-star for them. Cheers!
I'm thrilled to give Cameron Chinese Restaurant a glowing review after more than 30 years of exceptional service! The food quality remains top-notch, and the service is still impeccable. Our server, Louie, has been attentive and friendly throughout the years, providing consistent excellence. Owner and chef, Alex, prioritizes food quality, and it shows in every dish. I highly recommend Cameron Chinese Restaurant as the best in town. The consistency and quality are unmatched, and it's a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team. Well done, and I look forward to many more years of enjoying my favorite Chinese dishes!
Fantastic Dim Sum. Truly a one of a kind and worth the drive from Guelph. On weekends dim sum starts at 10:30 am - 2 pm. We got there at 10:30 and gets busy by lunch time. As you can see by the photos, the food was enjoyed. Thank you for your service.
I've been coming here for well over 10 years with my family. The dim sum here is so good. I will actually admit it's much better than any other dim sum restaurant that I've ever been to throughout Kitchener and Toronto The siu mai (pork dumpling) and har gow (shrimp dumpling) here is no joke Also the service here is next level. I never once had disappointing service here, ever. The staff are super nice and kind Even if you don't like dim sum, I still highly recommend coming to this restaurant because the Chinese dishes are also done really well
Food: 11/10 Service:10/10 Atmosphere:10/10 Everything was outstanding at this place. The staff was so friendly. Food presentation was beautiful. And the taste was AMAZING!! Even posting the pictures my mouth is watering. Definitely coming back and highly recommending to Kitchener folks.
The food was very good, super authentic and with generous fillings too! The har gow was packed with shrimp and the sticky rice in lotus leaves had so much meat inside. The food comes quick but be prepared to wait very long lines for a table, as the place is very busy.
Best Chinese in town
The ONLY Chinese Restaurant we choose to visit. Superb Food, Service and Atmosphere. Always a pleasure being served by Lewis.
I called to place a large order right before closing (I didnt realize they close from 2-4pm) and they said theyd still fill it, even though they closed in 5 minutes. The food was delicious and delivery was fast. Thanks so much!!!
Always a great meal.
Delicious, definitely worth trying
We were both picking chicken cartilage from our mouths as we ate our take out. Little flavour. Not very good tonight.
By far the best authentic Chinese food I have had in the tri-cities. Amazing dim sum brunch on weekends. Highly recommend!
Only did takeout but never disappointed.
Always great food! I ordered takeout close to closing time, while I waited they offered me water and we had a friendly chat. The dinning room looks really nice, you can tell they took the downtime of covid and did some nice work on the fit and finish!
The food is not authentic, and some of the food is obviously microwaved. Also there is steel wool in the rice dumpling
We paid over $100 for dinner and ended up throwing 80% of it in the garbage. The taste was off and when we took the breading off the chicken, the meat was grey. The next day , two of us weren t feeling great and left for the holiday weekend. By the time we got to our destination , we were violently ill. Ended up going to a walk in clinic where they suspected food poisoning. I wasn t able to call the restaurant until we got back and there was nothing they could do because we had no pictures of the food. Needless to say , we won t be ordering from them anymore which is a shame.
I love this restaurant. The food is amazing !!
The Restaurant is always clean and the Food is always fresh, fast and efficient!. Very friendly at the door and always welcoming you when you walk in. The staff has some sort of software as it remembered our order from last time. So it makes it easier to stay consistent and accurate with orders. Our order bang on! Nice and big proportions. Fresh and hot. I will continue to order from here!
Authentic dim sum. Pricey but worth it.
The best Dim Sum Ive ever had... craving more...
The environment is too annoying, and seat is crowded, food is fine
This is delicious Canadian-Cantonese cuisine. My favourite dish was the spicy pork and eggplant. They no longer serve duck because it has become too expensive. I would like to see steamed fish on the menu.
Very nice
It was okay. Fried rice lacked flavour. Stir fried beef rice noodle wasnt authentic. Beef was not coated in corn starch and not tender (was dry) and flavourless. Rice noodles were all stuck together.
Best Chinese food Ive ever tried!
One of my favourite restaurants! Food is super yummy, flavourful & authentic. The best dumplings I ve had in Ontario. So many other amazing dishes. Staff are kind & patient. My only complaint would be it gets a little loud dining in because it s a smaller space.
Excellent place to dine in or also order out
Sooo happy to have picked this restaurant!! Real authentic Chinese food!!! Sooo good!! Thank you so much!!!
The food is very good and the place has a nice atmosphere. But you definitely pay for it. I think it must be the most expensive dim sum place in the region.
Delicious, authentic Chinese food. Friendly, attentive service.
Very well known location gor dim sum in the kitchener area
The best Chinese food in the world.
Lewis is such a great host and the food is incredibly delicious and always fresh.
Always enjoy the food at Cameron. Nice atmosphere, good service.
Great atmosphere, service, and food! Been going to this place for 20 years I think, long before they expanded. Also great lunch option if you go to Cameron Heights
Ordered tonight for dinner. Very disappointed. Lemon chicken tasted like rubber. Chicken chop Suey had no flavour. Would not go back, and you walk in and there are boxes all over the place.
Food was very good, but at lunch hour they are in a hurry for you to eat and leave the table, the lady said that we could not order more food ( we were eating din sum), was disappointed. Maybe we will not return.
Cameron restaurant has best in class service and top notch Chinese cuisine.
order the combo plate #7 and it was incredible. lady on the phone was very nice and when i picked up the service was fantastic. will definitely be back!
It was my first time here. Omg! The food and service was fantastic . Will definitely be visiting again soon
Fantastic food! We had the beef wrapped in lettuce leaves, dai dop woey, Singapore noodles, and fried rice. Every bite was delicious.
Excellent food, excellent menu!
Dim sum was amazing
Best shrimp rolls in the city. This place is so god they arent on uber eats or skip the dishes. You have to order like $120 worth of food for them to deliver. They are like this, because they can. When you make food this good, the people will come.
Despite being a customer for 20+ years, our waitress seated us disappeared never to return. No one came to see if we needed anything else was needed, our food came at 2 separate times, not at once as we requested. Waiters passed our table numerous times, no one stopped to clear our plates. No one spoke to us until we walked up yo pay as we had not received a bill. Our future visits if there are future visits have not been decided We have always enjoyed the food and the staff has always been friendly but not this time
Excellent service and authentic dishes
I recently ordered takeout from Cameron Chinese Restaurant, and I must express my disappointment. The food was notably soggy and lacked the flavorful touch that I had experienced in my previous orders. While I have been a satisfied customer in the past, it seems that the overall quality has significantly degraded. Im unsure if there has been a change in ownership post-COVID, but the noticeable decline in taste and texture is disheartening. Considering my previous positive experiences, I hope the restaurant can reassess and improve upon the current state of their offerings. Regrettably, until theres a noticeable improvement in both quality and flavor, Ill be exploring alternative dining options. I genuinely hope Cameron Chinese Restaurant can regain the standard that initially earned my patronage.
Been coming here for decades, love the food!
Terrible service, finish at 8pm, was told 7:30pm stopped taking orders. What a stupid restaurant!!! Never go there again.
Incredible service and good menu!
This is a fantastic chinese restaurant! The food VERY tasty and came nice and hot! The server was very polite and the entire facility was clean.
I am glad to have finally found a dim sum place close to home! While it is on the pricier side of what Id usually pay at some places in the GTA, I can say the portions were large and always served fresh - that to me is worth the price. Ill definitely be back again
Victim of it s own success. Waiting in restaurant for 30 minutes passed when our pick up order was supposed to be ready. Will have to start looking for alternatives. We tried it again this Christmas Eve, getting it delivered is the way to go. That way if it isn t ready due to how busy they are you don t have to wait around for 30+ minutes. The food is excellent as always.
Food was very good and priced well. First time order but will be back.
Best Dim Sum in town
The food is delicious. The price is reasonable!
Great food as always
Hot sauce and chilli oil cost extra. And dishes were pretty expensive. Small restaurant can feel cramped. The waiters were nice though.
Best item here is the Honey Comb Tripe
Yummy take out. Our annual tradition!
Love this place and have converted my Inlaws. Everyone wins!
Best dim sum in KW, but hate that they don t list their prices online (and they won t tell you your takeout total $ over the phone - you have to find out in person what the total is).
We recently visited the place, ordered take out. Positives The Shrimp roll was excellent Negatives Chicken fried rice: Not seasoned well, and the rice was bland, Soy sauce was touched here and there not mixed well. Kung boa Guy ding: recommended by the order taker. Was just boiled chicken in a sauce, no flavor at all. Went in because of the reviews. I think they need to check on the quality of the food, in terms on flavor too.
Does anyone know when they will open up the dining room again? They are the best tasting Chinese restaurant in town!
Its ok
Food always delicious.
Excellent summer
A great restaurant! Super tasty Chinese food and the portions are super generous. They have finally opened dine in again and the experience is just as great as it was before covid. Worth a try if you re out for Chinese food and want to support a local business :)
I visited this place first time and it was definitely a great experience. Very clean. They serve good food in big quantity with a smile! Price is very reasonable.
Love Camerons. Its my go to in DTK for Chinese cuisine. Great prices and awesome staff. Very Friendly.
Excellent food, approximately priced, however they did forget to deduct the 10% off on our pick up order that was over $90 before tax.
Delicious Chinese food. The best in KW
Finally open for business!! Love this place. Food was hot, delishes, and plenty of it. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!!
I think its Chinese food without a lot of seasoning. I felt comfortable after eating it.
Huge portions, great food. Their dim sum is amazing.
Great food great service!!! Hoping to come back in the future!!! Not a far location!
I wont even give this place one star if I could. I called to send Birthday Dinner for my son who lives in Kitchener (I live in Newcastle). I put in the order, then they hung up on me. I called back to pay and give them my credit card, then they said they would not do my order! Well F$%# You. Another Kitchener Restaurant got my $100
Love this place. The atmosphere, food were great. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about menu offerings great recommendations.
From out of town, we went here based on all the reviews hoping for authentic Chinese food. It did not disappoint! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, excellent service and delicious food. Inside is gorgeous and so clean, too. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area.
Came for Sunday dimsum, busy as usual and a take out for my b day. Parking terrible and high prices per dish. However they have a monopoly. If the got newer tables in a smaller style they could fit in more people. Favourites are shrimp dim sum all choices and meal for four. This is a good deal! Beef in noodle dishes has a taste not sure what it is but pls make sure there is no precooking. Both visits three people each dim sum over 80dollars and take out dinner special for 4 over 60 dollars prices high.
The best Chinese food! Vegetarian options: Great vegetable fried rice and rolls. Food : 5/5 |
Best Chinese food in town. Fantastic dim sum, a little noidy
Food was ready at expected time for pick up, clean atmosphere and friendly staff. Parking: Limited spaces to park
Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in KW. Friendly Staff. Great food.
Great food and excellent service.
The best Chinese food in the KW area.
Love the food and the waiters/waitress are very attentive. The wait time was a bit long and the food options and plate options are limited. The food is delicious but due to the lack of customization for the meal plates, I felt like I wasnt able to get everything I wanted and just had to settle for the plate that had MOSTLY what I wanted. With that being said, the serving sizes are very generous. If you came here with family and everyone ordered 1 item, it would be enough to customize a Platter for the whole table. I would definitely come here again to eat, I would just make sure I have multiple people coming with so we can better customize our plates. Parking: When we went the parking lot was full. There are limited spaces and it was hard to fit our truck in. We ended up parking on the street around the corner after driving around the block 2 or 3 times.
Update - The dim sum is good. The food we had today was bland which made me sad but the service was fantastic. We had the mapo tofu, gai lan, chicken fried rice (no peas) and crispy chicken, spring rolls, hot and sour soup was the most bland. The best flavour was the crispy chicken and it was juicy which was good. I also appreciate how attentive and pleasant our server was and that the restrooms were very clean. Food gets a 3 but again service was great! Also good to note that dim sum are weekends only. Camerons is good, Im yet to go for their dim sum. We ordered food for takeout and it was averagely good. My favourite were the spring rolls though, I could have those any day!! Well definitely be going back for those. Heard the dim sum was amazing so will probably return to try one day. Parking: Not a ton of parking spots, gets very busy on the weekends.
Very tasty. Super friendly staff. Clean and nicely decorated. Dine-in or takeout.
Everything we tried was excellent! But Highly recommend Fishmaw Crabmeat Soup Calamari Eggplant Special fried rice
Some of the best Chinese food Ive had
The best dim sum in town!
We ordered take out and both got food poisoning ,sick all night long. Will never order from here again.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Food was perfect, hot and delicious. Nice presentation too. Didnt have to wait long either. Not crowded Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie dishes
Please be aware if you have a shellfish allergy let them know! May not be listed on menu!
Exceptional service and amazing food!! Recommend highly Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and kid friendly cuisine and portions Food : 5/5 |
Ive been going her since I was a kid. Love it here, great food and service! A must try! Food : 5/5
Good, standard Asian take out.
Food overall is very good being a place outside the GTA. I was pleasantly surprised. Downsides, some things were not available that day like the radish cake. I didnt mind the shrimp dumpling filling but their shell fell apart very easily. This place filled up very fast and we were given the bill as soon as we finished our last dish without asking. When I left, I understood since the waiting area was full of people with more coming into the parking lot. Its very unassuming on the outside. The inside is decorated nicer. Parking can be limited. Would return again if in the area.
It feels pretty good, the service is not as bad as the reviews said, and the environment is good, but the price is a bit expensive, and the overall price/performance ratio is okay.
Fantastic all around, including delivery
A very enjoyable experience.
My goto place in Kitchener.
Their seafood and rice are the best in this region. They dont take online orders, but still doing well as the loyal customers continue to come for their great food.
I havent tried seafood, and the meals are mainly for Westerners.
Mediocre food, not great ,not horrible just average for the area. I may go back, I may not. Ive had much better.
Really enjoy the food here, it is good quality and reasonability priced. Fresh ingredients.
Not a ton of flavor
Ate dinner here on a Wednesday night. I came here hoping to try the dim sum, unfortunately they only serve it on the weekends. Instead, I ordered the special fried rice and peppered chicken, and it was very delicious! Food came very quickly too! I was so full, the portions were very generous as well!
*Me, feeling like an expert since I eat dim sum from Markham* Good dimsum for Kitchener, all made inhouse! Its all at a heftier price point ($4 for tea, $1.50 for each hot sauce). My favourite was the har gow and cheung fun!
This Chinese restaurant in Kitchener has many years of history. It only offers evening market from Monday to Friday (3:30 pm to 8:30 pm). On Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, there is a morning tea market, which starts at 10 oclock, and snacks last until the afternoon. At 3 oclock, the dim sum tastes good and there are many choices. The staff service is so good. If you want to eat Chinese food, you can give it a try
Wonderful place to eat with the amazing service!!
Best Dim sum around
Best Chinese restaurant in KW! Super friendly service, and great tasting food! Try the Cantonese Chowmein.
I only go for Dim Sum, but man is it ever my favorite place to go on a Saturday for lunch.
Awesome food, especially the sesame shrimp dish
Excellent food and dim sum.
Enjoyed a dim sum brunch with four other people. Delicious, generous, and so much fun to sample new things. Service is friendly and warm.
Food is always good and super well priced! Great value. No complaints other than the prices on menus not equal to what you will pay in restaurant. However, it s only $1 more, it would be nice to have transparency. Still, really really good.
The food was good, but the price on their squarespace is half of their new prices Hey, everyone needs to increase prices, but they should probably update the squarespace website that has the menu and prices, amirite Food
My favorite Chinese restaurant in KW! High-quality food. Food
Super nice staff and restaurant however the food was extremely lackluster especially for the price. It was practically tasteless and rather small portion sizes. I cannot confidently recommend this place unfortunately.
Great food, great service and atmosphere.
Consistently tasty!
Good decent Chinese takeout, a few authentic dishes and everything well prepared.
The servers are terrible, very rude and disrespectful. And when. You order over $200 for delivery, theyll only give you 1 hot sauce. Saying you have to pay for extra.
Fantastic! Great flavour, tender beef, not all the Breading. Worth the drive from New Hamburg!! We will be back!!!
Food is fantastic! Service is excellent!
4 stars for customer service because they re really nice! But I asked for the sauce for my chicken balls on the side cause I didn t want it to be soggy.. and they still put it on! The chicken balls sre edible they re like mushy and soggy. The dim sum was good. The chop suey was just way tooo wet like a pool of liquid. Next time I think chop suey shouldn t be in the same container as fried food.. they re really pricey too. I will give it another shot though
I am shocked and appalled at the ridiculous prices compared to what you used to be and what other places are for the same amount of food.
Their Cantonese cuisine is authentic!
Absolutely some of the best Chinese takeout in the city. Highly recommend grabbing a few items off the menu because theyre all so good and wont last long even if there are leftovers.
Very small portions for the price. Go to Mings instead. You can get 3x for $7 what you get here for $14.
Meh. Wouldnt order from here again.
We tried their dim sum on a Saturday, and were super impressed by the quality and quantity. I enjoyed the siu mai, har gow, bbq pork bao, and the beef cilantro steamed rice roll
Great dimsum on the right day.
Ive been going here for years Always good kind service! Excellent food very good prices and theyre very helpful
On May 6th we were in town and decided to have supper. We didnt know that they opened at 3:30 but decided to wait 40 minutes for them to open. A vehicle pulled up about 3:10 and the woman (found out she was a manager) came to our car to see if we needed something. She took our order. 5 minutes later a young guy came to the car to verify (messy handwriting :-)) the order. Another car pulled up on the other side of our car. I thought it was an early customer. The young woman approached the car and just wanted to see if we were OK and if anyone helped us. At 3:30 our order was ready, we paid and left at 3:32. AMAZING customer service and, as always, great food. I spoke with the person taking payment and he said, we treat our customers like they are family. I was blown away by this excellent service from 3 separate staff. Thank you, Camerons, for this wonderful experience and I will be *home* for dinner again soon.
Disappointingly, just had a bad experience at Camerons. After years of favoring and recommending this restaurant, we will no longer return here, as our complaint was met with denial. The fried rice was no good, having a stale-like smell and taste, which was subtle but clearly noticeable, and unpleasant. When we called to complain, the lady asked the kitchen, who said the rice is fine, and said no one has complained about it. Wrong, WERE complaining about it! And the kitchen staff isnt a customer, is it?! Were not making it up! A shame that this ladys poor handling of the issue will result in two less customers, and well have to find a new go-to restaurant for Chinese, who will hear if some of their regulars get some bad food. Shame.
Too bad it was only for take out.
Ordered a take out today hearing so many good things about this restaurant. My order came out to be around $80, i than asked if i was able to get extra hot sauce since i was ordering for four people, the lady told me that it would cost me an extra dollar for hot sauce. Really!!?? i understand that the price for everything has gone up but to take full advantage of the situation is terrible. Quite disappointed and would not be a returning customer
Gone down hill. Ordered combo #5. Chicken balls and breaded shrimp were mush. They put it in with chicken chop Suey that had so much fluid it was like a soup. Called and complained and they didnt care! They put it in with chicken chop Suey that was like soup. I called and complained
Great food, great service
We walked 15 minutes to the restaurant to try this restaurant...only to learn that it is not offering a dine in option. Their website says nothing about only offering take out.... too bad. I cannot offer comments on the food.
I ordered combo 3 (in the picture) wow, amazing. Rice was perfect; beef was tender and tastey; everything was amazing. I also ordered the curry chicken, very generous chicken portions and very good.
The fried chicken tasted so nice and well done. Pina colada is also nice and the ambience was cool and calm. A nice place for a quiet date. Waiters were nice too and the chef came out to exchange pleasantries with the customers which I found interesting.
The food not taste good, the customer service was fine
The hot and sour soup is as sour as vinegar and costs nothing. I don t know what the seafood pot is. A shrimp bath? Did all the kitchen salt go into the mapo tofu? The bullet rice is so good that I almost knocked out my teeth. The good reviews were written by the staff, right? Whoever comes will regret it
I wasnt a big fan of their food. Kinda plain tasting.
They don t offer dine-in! Takeout orders only!!
Food was cold and bland, kinda mushy like it was sitting a while even though I waited for it. Service was meh, wont be returning.
I have been ordering take out and dining in since 1996. When I was in High School, I went to Cameron Heights across the street. Every Wednesday I went and ordered chinese food. Quality, taste and service is awesome. Only doing take out right now but it is still good. You wont regret it.
have been going here for years, their lunch dim sum is unbeatable - best in the area by far
I was told that the food is awesome Its good but I have had better. Food was ready quick and the Asian guy taking the orders is super friendly and always has a great attitude
Were from out of town and were pleasantly surprised, the food was really good especially the beef and vegetables.
My wife and I have been enjoying Cameron Chinese Restaurant for years .We have had a great meal everytime. The food is consistantly fresh and delicious. The service has always been top shelf. You wont fine better food, service or hospitality anywhere else in the region. We look forward to getting take out at lease twice a month and look forward to them opening up the dinning room soon.To the entire staff at Cameron keep doing what you do best !!!! Five Stars All The Way !!!!!
Take out only, does not offer any dine in option anymore since covid. Food was ok, expensive for what you get and wasnt fantastic unfortunately.
Best restaurant ever for chinese food. Dont let the exterior turn you away. Trust me! The Sesame walnut shrimp is the best I have ever had. Shrimp rolls are amazing. Noodles fantastic. Everything is always fresh and well done and portions are reasonable and generous. Staff are great and friendly. 110% recommend!
We have only done takeout in the past few years, but LOVE the food and takeout service.
Great food! Does not disappoint!
Shrimp rolls are super delicious - as soon as I finished them I wished that I had more. The veg lo mein, veg fried rice were fine. The fried bean curd was ok but we werent a fan of the oval mushrooms. Unfortunately, they didnt have either choy sum or chinese broccoli. Hopefully they are stocked the next time we try their food. Also, for some reason they only do dim sum in the mornings on the weekend only. Because of the shrimp rolls we will give them another try.
Consistently good food everytime. Dinner for 4a is a favourite.
Absolutely the best Chinese Food in Kitchener Waterloo...Have ordered many times different items and always delicious. Definitely 5 star!!!
Tried their dim sum a few times. Menu is short and the quality is just OK. Price isnt cheap. Need to go to GTA if you want something better at a similar or even lower price.
Cameron Chinese Restaurant used to be a favourite of ours but we were sorely disappointed with our recent order. While we did enjoy the shrimp rolls and I liked the wonton soup, the rest of the meal was underwhelming. The Cantonese chow mein was very bland, consisting mostly of mushy noodles and a few pieces of tasteless, overcooked seafood, a couple token pieces of chicken, and a couple of pea pods. The sesame walnut shrimp, formerly our all-time favourite dish, was clumpy and unappetizing too. Very disappointing.
Sesame walnut shrimp.....what an AMAZING dish....sooo good.
Food was ok, we ordered a couple of the combo platers and the chicken lettuce wraps. Overall the food was good, my combo plater( lemon chicken and Singapore noodles) I found to be way over salted(or MSG) not sure what they use. And almost no lemon sauce. The chicken lettuce wraps was truly the winner for me! This dish is very consistent and oh so yummy! This experience wont stop me from coming back but I think Ill try something else and cant wait for a dine in option again as they are takeout only due to the pandemic
Quite possibly the best chinese food in the KW region! Staff are super friendly and a pleasure to talk with!! I will always keep coming back!!
Great portions , clean place, yummy food!!!
Taste is not same as before lock down. We just bought some dim sum , fried rice and Noddle. Dim sum were ok but the rest were plain and dry. Price too expensive for the foods like that.
Take out because I wont share my intel. 1st time here ever - need better variety than my 4 go-to takeouts since apartheid kicked in sept 22 Lemon chicken I saw on an online menu for 8.75 was 12.95 and shows on receipt as (LRG). The fried rice I thought I recalled as 6.95 was 8.95 (after confirming that lemon chicken was ONLY lemon chicken and not a dinner) chicken wrapped in crispy coating when hot but warms to spongy on reheat. What I expected at less than $20 was $26 plus ...way too much for single even if there is enough for 3. Everything is still in plastic while Chalet serves festive special in a cardboard box
