Always a great meal and friendly service!

I had a bowl of turkey soup and a turkey pot pie that was more a soup than a turkey pot pie was not impressed.. I will not be returning.

I can t see anything negative about our experience. The food was amazing, the service was excellent. The owners and staff of this restaurant one above and beyond.

Food was tasty, portions were generous and reasonably priced, and most of all service was impeccable. The young girl who served us, Olivia, was patient with the kids, quick to answer questions, and very kind to all.

Excellent chicken souvlaki and gyros dinners. Our kids also loved their fish and chips - tasty French fries! The servers were very friendly and provided great service. Thank you!

The table edges are tacky/sticky and the restroom door as well. Would benefit from a wipe down with a degreaser. On a more pleasant note, food and service were great

I had the eggs Benedict and an excellent breakfast. Cant go wrong with any authentic eastern Mediterranean flavors and well blended with a Canadian theme. Highly recommended.

Nice place with awesome staff and good food. The pacing of food coming out was really great. The greek apps and salads were very tasty. The meat was a bit on the dry side but still good. They have some amazing dessert options too, so make sure to ask! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options

After a few bad experiences in a row at our usual family restaurant and breakfast place, we decided to look for a new go to. We tried Kypreos and werent disappointed. We went at a peak time on a Saturday when the restaurant was busy and we were greeted and welcomed immediately when we arrived. We were seated right away. Our server came by right away to introduce himself and take drink orders. Drinks arrived. Our server was excellent, he answered questions about the menu, noted one of our partys food allergy, and was very attentive throughout our visit. Everyone enjoyed their food -- whether they ordered breakfast or lunch. I had the gyro on a pita with a Greek salad, both of which were excellent. We will be going back again and again. Parking: The lot looks like chaos but its fine. The lot looks busier than it is. Kid-friendliness: This family restaurant gets it. Kids have short attention spans and not a.ton of patience when theyre hungry. Kypreos makes sure you get fed in a reasonable amount of time.

We went twice. 1st time was a large group, so the fact I was forgotten while everyone around me was enjoying their dinner. The second time, much smaller group and I was still forgotten we didnt get our appetizers till everyone was done their dinners .

Our party of 8 enjoyed every minute of lunch experience, from the great food to the thoughtful service.

Despite being packed the service was quick. Staff were cheerful. Portion sizes are large.

We were looking for a place to eat before a show at Centre in the Square and randomly found this place and we are so glad we did! Great food, great prices and the service was exceptional! We had the most genuinely friendly and attentive server, a very nice young lady. We are back in Kitchener for another show on the 9th of May, and we will be eating here again!

Kypreos is solid. We mainly go for breakfast but have had supper a couple of times and it is always great. Real food.

My hubby and I enjoy Greek food and if you like souflaki youll love Kypreos chicken souflaki plate! The greek salad had a refreshing taste with light dressing as they used mixed greens and not the regular iceberg lettuce most places use. The chicken was tender and tasty, the rice and lemon potatoes were exceptional. Our server was very pleasant and service was quick even though the restaurant was very full. You have to try their baklava and carrot cheesecake for dessert...absolutely yummy. Our tummies are filled and satisfied. Thank you Kypreos!

Our bridal shower event held on Saturday was managed beautifully by Andrea and her team. Everything was perfect! The food was outstanding and all of our guests were so pleased. The service was beyond expectation and every detail was taken are of. We couldnt have been happier.

The food is absolutely delicious. The service is the same.

Worst Schnitzel I ve ever had. Hunters gravy was lumpy and tasted terrible. Mixed veg looked gross like they were sitting in a steam table forever. Server was great.

I think this is my wife and mines favourite restaurant, the servers are always friendly, the food is always great. They always seem to remember all their regulars and there is a very familial feeling throughout the place. The only problem I have with it is we don t live closer to the location.

This is a true Kitchener gem. I grew up in the area and hadnt been in awhile. We went for lunch and it was still as good as remember from 25+ years ago. Highly recommend. Food was awesome, service was even better!

Take my mom once a week for breakfast/lunch. She lookes forward to it and the staff always welcomes her. The staff is great and anything we ordered is always good.

We had dinner there Feb 10/24. Wonderful food, service and experience. Our waitress was Loukia. Loukia recommended the Baklava, a desert her grandmother makes. It was delicious. We will definately go back

The young ladies that worked there were very nice and very respectful and handled my order very well, but there is one problem. The portion size is horrible. There is hardly any rice. The chicken was extremely dry and they gave me a salad that looked like I could ve picked it in my backyard, the food quality is horrible. a chicken souvlaki with two chicken skewers could barely feed a little 4 year old . I paid $30+ For a horrible quantity of food it is not worth 30$

I love taking my two little ones here always a great atmosphere to eat. The waitress here are very professional and friendly. It s hard to find good places like this so for this reason I give it a high rating.

Dont know whats going on with this place but just had one of the worst breakfast ive ever recieved at a restaurant. The home fries and meat were so overcooked that they were unedible.We are semi regulars here and will most likely give it another try since the waitresses are fantastic but they really need to look at their kitchen staff

Havent been back here since Covid began. Went there tonight, service fabulous! Waitress super efficient and polite! Food was way to much to eat not that Im complaining. For those of you who have never been here put it on your must go to list! Been going here for well over 10 years. Dont miss out!

Great food, great service and great value. Had a breakfast option for lunch, with plenty of coffee. Added a black tea, carrot and ginger soup to make it a fantastic meal. Make sure you come early, as this place is a popular spot for people of all ages.

We have a group of seniors (wonderful family and long time friends) that are meeting Thursday nights once a month for supper. The restaurant staff always greet us with a smile, the waitresses are absolutely amazing and the food is delicious. Prices are reasonable and it is the perfect time to catch up with each other in a restaurant where you can actually hear each others conversations. Best bang for your buck at Kipreos. In our opinion, you cant go wrong at Kipreos! Dietary restrictions: I am Diabetic and have never had options to eat.

You feel like family and you eat like family. Good quality ingredients prepared with care, classics from Greece and some fusion for the locals here. Great for lunch, lots of indoor seating.

My boys took my wife and I for a dinner. Our first time here and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. Brea the server was very friendly and attentive. Stelios the owners son came out from the back and checked our table and chatted with us to ensure every thing was okay. We enjoyed the food and customer service. We highly recommend it and we will definitely coming back again.

I was a first time customer today, as I work at near by. I visited around 12:30pm and I was greeted by a friendly wave from a very nice lady. I sat myself at a table and was greeted promptly. I am as asked how I was doing and noted wow it is hot out there with in minutes my server brought me a nice ice cold water, which I enjoyed immediately. I placed my order and had also ordered a Lg Greek salad to go. The food was great and arrived in no time. The server told me she had kept my to-go salad cold in the fridge in that back. That was absolutely thoughtful and greatly appreciated with out even asking. I just wanted to say thank you to Andrea, as I felt at home during my first visit. I love Greek food and as I said, I work in the neighborhood and WILL be back. Thank you as well for a nice atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: I noticed many tables had adults with kids and they seemed to like the place.

My son and I were on our way to the university and stopped in to Kypreos for a late lunch. We were greeted and seated by Andrea (super friendly and welcoming). The food was superb. I had gyro pita and added a salad....OMG, it was the freshest salad Ive ever had, I couldnt get over it. The gyro was delicious. My son ordered the daily special (pan seared pickerel) and he loved it. Kypreos will be our new regular dining when we come to visit my son at the University! It was a pleasure meeting you, Andrea and your son, thank you so much for your hospitality! We will see you soon!!

Great breakfast spot and a neighbourhood institution! Extremely quick service -- sometimes youll get your meal in a couple of minutes! Nice price-point as well (2 egg breakfast special, which includes choice of meat + homefries + toast) and coffee is around $15 after tax).

2023-11-12: i have returned several times since my original review. Food remains awesome, especially for the price. I saw some new staff today, which is somewhat odd - historically their staff is very, very stable. It was louder than usual today, making conversation difficult. The place is still very clean, the staff remains friendly and professional. I will continue to return. __ I generally go in a large group, so service can be a little slow. The staff is great, the food is good and the portions are generous. Ill be back.

We drove from out of town to visit a different Greek restaurant in the region, but found that restaurant to be closed on Sundays! Our fault of course for not checking, but decided to try Kypreos nearby to satisfy our Greek food cravings. We were so glad we did! The food was very good - we ordered calamari and saganaki apps to share, then souvlaki plates for our mains. My husband absolutely loves saganaki, and said it was one of the best hes had, and Id have to agree, from the bite I was able to pry from his hands! Everything we ordered was VERY good, and portions were plentiful! Lots of leftovers to take home and enjoy later. Our server was excellent also! I wish I could remember her name (petite blonde young lady) but she was always there whenever we needed her, got our order 100% correct and timed perfectly, and so very friendly! Its also clear that the serving staff works as a team, which is really helpful to the overall experience. Thanks so much for a wonderful lunch today! We will be back for sure.

Kypreos. The best experience for breakfast I have ever had. I am from out of town, and being introduced to this awesome Greek family restaurant that also caters to weddings and special events has been heaven sent. I strongly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys a home-cooked breakfast. The hostess, Andrea is so friendly and cares about your visit. And her daughter sets the stage for her mother to serve you. If nothing else, the treatment of the family staff is priceless. Oh, and did I mention the price is also family oriented. Thank you to Kypreos, for a life altering breakfast experience that I shall cherish for eternity.

Went in at the slow time, 3:00 pm on a Saturday. My hubby and I were immediately greeted with a smile. I ordered the gyro wrap and ceaser salad and my guy ordered the club sandwich with fries. Wow! Generous portions and our food was so tasty.

Breakfast here . Wow! Honestly, I could just go for the potato s. They are soaked and fried, so the skin gets so crispy it s amazing.

Great stuff and good atmosphere but , we ordered a gyro dinner and it was not so good. I would say the idea is good but ingredients are not so much. I definitely would not recommend this meal.

Very rarely does a restaurant exceed my expectations! This is what makes family run restaurants what its all about!

Lately, I have been doing the takeout thing due to having places to go. The dining room was very busy, but I carefully meandered myself up to cash! The cashier was very personable and greeted me quickly. I asked for a menu, and even though she did not mention the specials, until I asked, she did offer me water and gave me an estimated wait time. All in all, the service was great! And the Alfredo Special was delicious!
