Healthy and delicious meals to your home and business! We bring the unique and bold tastes of Korean and Japanese cuisine to your table. Vegetarian and gluten-free options available. * The last order is 30 minutes before the store closes.
Honestly everything here is a great choice. I love the bibimbap and the poke bowls but the sleeper hit is their sushi. I know, it's Korean food, it's a Korean restaurant but hear me out. Next time you try the place for an outstanding Korean dish try a sushi roll or anything. You won't be disappointed.
I finally had the chance to come to this restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone. The food was great, music great, the service excellent! I noticed I was greeted as soon as I entered, that's rare these days. 10/10 recommend
The Beef Bibimbap was delicious, and the portion is very big. The only thing that would've made it better was a runny yolk egg. My fiance enjoyed the Dynamite Combo, big rolls, and tasty fried dumplings. The staff was very kind and friendly. I'm not sure if there's parking anywhere else, but we parked in an empty business parking lot right beside them.
Nice little place in a very discreet location. Small quaint dining area. We had the Poke Bowls and they were large bowls. Was used to small bowls, so was pleasantly surprised. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick Korean bite, but come hungry.
It was really a great experience. I was just checking the menu when I got there and didn’t expect anything vegetarian but they have so many veg options and they are really great 😌👍..had fun trying new cuisine
I visited this place as a friend recommended that the torched sushi is really good. I didn't see it on the menu when ordering and ordered the black dragon roll instead – turns out that all their torched sushi was listed on a separate, smaller board that I didn't see, and I didn't think to ask when I didn't see it on the menu (unfortunately for me). The black dragon roll was okay – the entire roll was cold save for the fried shrimp, and the sauce on top was a bit off from what I was expecting. They gave some miso soup as well which was nice and unexpected. The interior seating is very small and basic since it's mainly a takeout place. I'm still willing to give the torched sushi a try in the future, but personally wouldn't recommend the black dragon here.
This restaurant is in an old factory building. The parking is hard to find - you have to turn the corner into Park St then drive down to a driveway marked “100 Park St”, then walk back to the building. Entering the building from Victoria St, you find yourself in a lobby, and the entrance to the restaurant is a solid steel door - I was worried it was the employee entrance, but opened it to find the restaurant inside. I think they mostly do delivery and take-out: the person at the cash register greeted us by handing us a menu. We stood there awkwardly and ordered, then stood around waiting for our food. There is a small area with tables and chairs, and after the young man appeared with our food - already in take-out containers- he asked us if we were dining in or taking out. It was a nice day, so we took our food and left. I had the salmon bibimbap. The fish and vegetables were fresh, but the rice was clumpy and not hot. My companion had the salmon poke bowl, and said it was good, but did not leave him feeling full. I see this restaurant has some high ratings. I would be prepared to try it again, if only because it’s a place to get takeout that isn’t greasy and has fresh veggies. Definitely not a place I would go for a relaxing dine-in experience. The restaurant seemed clean on the inside, but a bare bones atmosphere.
The beef bibimbap and salmon poke bowl were exceptional. We also got free chicken Japchae with the order. It seemed different from the picture. And while the initial texture seemed unfamiliar, it surprisingly grew on us and we ended up eating the entire plate. Highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to dine in there and explore more of their menu!
Exceptional food quality! Taste of Seoul catered a work lunch for more than 50 people and it was just well packaged and was exceptional on taste as well! ... Any time youre craving POKE or Bibimbap or just some ASIAN food - Dont hesitate to try TASTE of SEOUL! You wont be disappointed! :) Thank you Jin & Jason!
Been ordering food here for years and its just good food with fresh ingredients. 5 stars well deserved!
such amazing food, it is a little pricey but very worth it!! the salmon tasted so fresh which i ve noticed hasn t been tasting as fresh at other restaurants recently so i was pleasantly surprised. i love the salmon inarizushi and oshi and the spicy crab roll is delicious:)
This is hands down our family s favourite take out. My 7 year old could eat endless sashimi from here, my pick is always the boneless Korean Friend Chicken. Can t go wrong 10/10 service and food every time.
The poke bowl is great!
Cozy South Korean restaurant with amazing food and amazing service! The staff are great, and the ambience is nice. They have a variety of options, definitely a must-try if you are in the area!
Omg the worker was literally so kind and sweet like I ve never felt so comfortable in a restaurant then I did here especially being a hijabi and this was my first time going there so a big bonus definitely will be going back amazing place definitely recommend
My dream place, love it
Fantastic delivery to work tonight - bibimbap with salmon is awesome!!
Been to all the locations.. at the market, Victoria and express. All very tasty and reasonably prices.
tried once, so disappointed!
Spicy salmon poke is my go to and always hits the spot. The staff are also super friendly and nice!
Great food and nice people!!
Taste of Seoul is an absolute gem! I recently tried their Colpop, and it was a delightful fusion of flavors. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the sauces added just the right amount of kick. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick, making the entire experience even better. I can t wait to go back and try more of their dishes! Highly recommended!
Giving an updated review as my last review was 5 stars three years ago. They are getting 3 stars now as the quality of their food is still great however they have decreased the size of their portions but continue to charge the same. We don t order there as often.
It s hard to find a store
I ordered sushi, Udon, Yaki Udon, wings and one more oder ( forgot the name ) but it was a vegetarian rice . Everything tasted really fresh and good. Vegetarian options: Lots of options Parking: Just behind the building, there is a parking lot. I went for the paid parking, not sure if free parking is available
Excellent quality of fresh ingredients. Very tasty! Support local!
The sushi is delicious. Absolutely amazing. I normally get a dynamite roll or similar and it always tastes great. Fresh ingredients, crispy shrimp, everything goes together. All the food is consistently good. I ve tried the fried chicken, dumplings, udon noodles, somme veg rolls and the beef teriyaki roll, all delicious. I also love that they serve you complementary soup before your meal. Service is always efficient. How much you spend can be pretty variable but if you want enough food for a full personal meal, expect to spend around $20-$30. Worth it for the quality. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetation roll options as well as veggie options for other meals (like veggie udon soup). My vegetarian friends were all happy.
The food was 10/10. Huge selection, super fresh, lots of flavour, and just simply really great food. Only reason for lower atmosphere is due to the parking not being readily available, which isn t the stores fault but just to give honest insight. They also do takeout which might be more useful for those on the go. Either way, my friends and I ate outside in an indoor/outdoor patio which was lovely. Great service too! Overall- will be coming back again for sure!!
Ah-mazing little gem! Fresh and delicious, flavours are on point and portions are generous (with options for all the picky eaters). Service is quick, efficient and courteous, the vibe is exactly what youd expect at a sweet little Korean restaurant. Cant wait to go back Vegetarian options: Very knowledgeable staff will warn ya of any animal products in the food! Dietary restrictions: Dairy sensitivity was taken seriously and options offered accordingly
Their sushi platter is amazing! Salmon was fresh and the cut was thick with the avocados perfectly ripe :) I really recommend the salmon lover lunch or the salmon oshi. The oshi is lightly torched on the top which made everything so much better! Highly recommend this place if you wand high quality sushi :)
Just had an awesome meal on Victoria Street, and it was a total vibe. The food was straight bussin and hit all the right spots. I tried the oshi and the sushi rolls, and both absolutely slapped. Seriously, some of the best Ive had in a while. The staff were super chill and made sure we had a great time. They were friendly and quick with everything, which made the whole experience even better. The place itself has such a cool atmosphere too, perfect for hanging out with friends or just chilling.
I ordered sushi special platter for dinner today. It was amazing taste . It was perfect Friday!!! Especially salmon was super good. It was super fresh and chewy. Also staff was very friendly and smiled at me. It made me spending happy Friday. I highly recommend Taste of Seoul!!!
Personally, Im always grateful to this restaurant for introducing me to the beauty of torched sushi. I usually order the Aburi Sushi Platter here, but I noticed they recently added a new platter to the menu, so I decided to try it. To put it simply, it has become my favourite Im pretty sure that once you try it, you will miss this taste every day. Especially the sauces and the toppings!! They perfectly combine with the torched sushi. oh I have started craving it again Here s a tip: you can have the nigiri sushi torched for an additional fee!
They are very kind and friendly. The food was amazing, and customer service was the best. I would strongly recommend chicken bite and sushi platter. Food : 5/5
An absolute pleasure dining in at Taste of Seoul. Not only were the food portions fantastic but the taste was incredible. In addition the service was top tier. Thank you so so much!
Delicious poke bowl!
Delicious food, fantastic service, all in all, a fantastic restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone who likes good food.
Delicious! The Homemade kimchi is fantastic. Had beef bibimbap and pressed sushi, great value and fresh food.
Amazing taste! Ordered a dupbap set, everything inside was very good, much more realistic than korean restaurants I ve tried in Europe! Vegetarian options: Tofu teriyaki option for the dupbap, and also veg variant was present for other dishes!
The food is delicious and the servers are really nice, check on us frequently, and are cheerful
Parking: We parked in an empty business parking space beside the building. The business is closed down. Food
We did our research before visiting and knew it was not a big space for dining and parking was out back. Food is delicious. Its hard to get authentic Korean food in my neighborhood in Kitchener, so I dont mind the drive to Taste of Seoul. The service was very friendly. We dined in because we were doing a workshop upstairs. The service was fast. Even though parking is out back at 100 Park St, I am just happy there is parking!
Good price. Good take out. There s seating inside and outside. It s a good hidden spot in Kitchener. And definitely worth a try to get Korean / sushi cravings out the way
Ive been getting takeout from this place for months but yesterday I dined in for the first time. It was INCREDIBLE! I might never order take out again! The rolls I got came with delicious complimentary broth and the food was ready incredibly fast. It was also so delicious I didnt remember the soy sauce until after I had finished all my rolls! I wasnt even hungry! Highly recommend this place, BEST vegetarian rolls Ive found in KW. Most places have a lame obligatory vegetarian roll, this place goes to TOWN with it. Does not feel like they included the veggie dynamite roll just to have a vegetarian option in the menu. Additionally, there are other vegetarian options in the menu that are also delicious! I love this place! Vegetarian options: My go to is the veggie dynamite roll but there are other vegetarian roll and bibimbap options!
Just had the Korean Fried Chicken for the first time. I love chicken. If I could change one thing... it would be that I tried it sooner. Super awesome =)
Food is roughly average but service is good. You can get much better sushi in sushi star
I ate it with a friend and it was really delicious! In particular, Oshi was really delicious! They put spicy peppers on top, so it was so clean and good that it didnt feel greasy at all! I also ate chicken wings. They were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I ate them with the sauce separately and it was so good!! Next time I have to visit to try other menu items :)
in canada It was nice to be able to taste the taste of Korea. Even black dragon roll and salmon It was more delicious than in Korea. The staff are so friendly too I had a comfortable meal. ^^
Vegetarian options: Veggie sushi platter is a family favourite. One family member is vegetarian and the veggie platter is enjoyed by all its so delicious. Highly recommend the this Tart of Seoul. Food
Amazing hidden little nook. The spicy pork bibimbap was delicious and the service was great! Definitely going to be back!
We order regularly from Taste of Seoul, today s order was exceptional! Thanks for the great lunch!!!
Always delicious!
Ive written only one other review as its time consuming to write one up. We recently discovered this place (Dec 2023). Apparently they been around a while... I wish we knew of them sooner.. Its sort of hidden inside an office building that appears to be empty. You wouldnt know its in there, but they are. Sometimes the best places are hidden Gems. So take your significant other on an adventure and find this place, you wont regret it. You can park at the vacant building next door (corner of Park and Victoria). theres also parking at the rear off of Park Street. If you are just going for take out, you can park right next to the building, right next to the sidewalk (it almost looks as if youre on the sidewalk). We been there 4 times in the last 4 months. Great, fresh and affordable food, the servers are very friendly and accommodating. Weve been to a few places that serves Sushi in town, this is our favourite. Their salad is perfectly fresh, not a wilted leaf to be found, it looks like they carefully select and slice their veggies. I think they use a razor blade to slice the food as it looks perfect. There are a few tables inside for eat-in and a courtyard when its warmer. Dont be fooled by its small size or the older office/warehouse decor, its definitely worth a sit down or even a take out.. So far weve been there for their Japanese cuisine, judging from its quality and appearance, I have no doubt the Korean cuisine is just as good... Ive seen them serve it up while eating-in and it looks fantastic... Ive had their Salmon Lover dinner and my wife orders their picnic combo.. Thankyou Taste of Seoul.
Great place that serves amazing authentic Asian food!
The food was amazing!
Best chicken wings I have ever eaten. Their sushi is amazing as well. I ve recommended this place to quite a few people. The foods delicious and never disappoints. Also purchased some sauces from them which are amazing as well. I always look forward to ordering a meal from them! The staff is also very friendly and kind.
I love the honey garlic fried chicken. Theyre simply the best.
The food always taste great and customer service is wonderfull very friendly.
There are several Korean restaurants in Kitchener, but this one is the cleanest, friendliest, and most delicious. And its cheap. I recommend it. Parking is also available. good service, nice foos and so clean. Moreover, it is cheap. Possible to park. Goodgood
Great service and amazing food
best Korean food in town! great service
The sushi dish + salad, dumplings, kimchee, I had was tasty. Wish the chicken wing sauce was more spicy, less sweet.
Ive been ordering delivery from Taste of Seoul for quite some time and Ive never been disappointed about their quality. Everything Ive had is always delicious and would suggest anyone interested in Korean food to try this place.
Dynamite sushi was great. Bibimbop was ok - served in a cold bowl though.
Great food! Dietary restrictions: Its great that they have gluten free sushi rolls! Food : 5/5 |
We have started ordering from here for lunch for the office. Its got a little something for everyone. Always fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable. Call ahead order for pick up much better prices then on any food delivery app.
The food is really good but the meat is not halal, as mentioned in their website.
Excellent food and selection of Asian fusion options. Quaint place surprises you. They even added the best miso soup too to our meal. Our new favourite place.
Excellent food and service!! Great vegetarian options too! Ive ordered from here a few times and Ive always loved it!
Fantastic food and home-feeling atmosphere, the fried chicken is a MUST TRY! 100 out 100
Im so thankful that I can eat the Korean food Ive always dreamed of so deliciously here. Ill go often. I hope it becomes a place where you dont lose your original intention. Haha, I wish you a successful business.
I have been consistently ordering takeout from here! Would highly recommend their dynamite roll combo, honey garlic fried chicken, and dumplings.
Best Korean picnic special in all of Canada!
Their bibimbap is great although a bit pricy. Got sick from eating here and they were quick to give me a full refund, although they misinformed me about some food poisoning facts. It must have been the sauce that was bad. Anyways, will buy again and hope they take care of their sauces better now.
Visited for dinner and had the most wonderful experience Very quick and friendly service. Minor translation error when I was ordering but it was fully my fault for not specifying the allergy. The order was corrected with care and speed, we will be back Vegetarian options: Basically everything on the many can be made vegetarian, the many is simple but still has many great tasty options Dietary restrictions: They have many vegetarian options and things can be made vegan be sure to specifically say no dairy or egg when ordering vegan. They also offer a wide variety of gluten free options(including GF soy sauce) Kid-friendliness: The location has 1 highchair for dine in customers which came in handy for our 17.5 month old.
Fast service
I have really enjoyed my meals at Taste of Seoul. I ve tried their veggie poke bowl (very very good, and different), and their veggie bibimbap and dragon roll were also very good. Highly recommend!
Unhygienic food. I ordered chicken wings from this place. To my surprise, I found a plastic bag inside the chicken wing. The next day I had diarrhea with severe stomach pain.
I had the pleasure of trying the Bibimbap at Taste of Seoul, and I must say, I was absolutely blown away! The flavors were incredibly authentic, capturing the essence of solid Korean cuisine. Each bite was a delightful explosion of vibrant ingredients and textures. I cant express how pleasantly surprised and genuinely happy I was with this dish. It truly transported me to the streets of Seoul. Highly recommended for anyone craving an exceptional Korean rice dish experience!
It was my first time ordering (Skip) from them and I was super impressed! Had the spicy pork bibimbap and the dumplings. Everything looked and tasted great! Will definitely order again.
I ordered online and my takeout was hot and ready on time. I wish their online ordering system gave options to customize dishes - the poke bowl was good but I would have preferred to ask for no teriyaki sauce since it was too sweet for my tastes Parking: Parking is a bit confusing - would be great to have a sign on park st
Best Korean food Ive ever had
The food I have had here so far has been pretty consistently fantastic (by far the best take out food I have ever had). Things I have had include the Dupbap Combo with Spicy Chicken, Veggie Dynamite Roll, and both the meat and veggie dumplings... All great options. Most recently I tried their Poke Bowl with salmon, which is my new favorite meal, as it was insanely delicious! The only thing I have been disappointed by was the Dupbap Combo with teriyaki tofu, as in my opinion the tofu was extremely bland and not cooked well. But overall I really enjoy eating here, the service is always good, friendly, and the wait times always feel reasonable. Although I wish they would stay open later in the evenings. Vegetarian options: Has a great selection of delicious and filling vegetarian options (which is something I find a lot of restaurants struggle with)
Great food!
The only bad thing about Taste of Seoul is that I didn t give it a chance sooner and feel like I ve been missing out for so long. They have so many vegetarian options and they re so delish! I tried the poke bowl, the bibimbap, and the dumplings. I can t pick a favourite, they were all 10/10! Vegetarian options: Almost everything has a vegetarian option.
Taste of Seoul is my go-to place for Korean comfort food and for catering. They make amazing authentic Korean food and it s always fresh and delicious!
Great service and one of the best restaurants for fresh sushi. Had the poke bowl and noodle bowls as well, so good. Will definitely be a regular here and would recommend to anyone
The food was all very good. The Korean fried chicken was the best with a good crunchy texture and juicy tender meat underneath.
I ordered Salmon Lover Dinner, and it was incredibly savory. Both the salmon and rice portions were executed amazingly; the salmon was perfectly thick and the amount of rice wasn t overwhelming. Last time I tried their authentic Korean dishes such as bibimbap, dumplings, and japchae, and they were very delicious as well. Not only the Korean dishes, but also sushi here is just flawless. The staff are really nice and friendly as well. This is a must place to try in town and I confidently say that you will not regret having a meal here.
Ate there for a business lunch. Delicious food and friendly service. Unfortunate location though, but the food makes it worth it. Parking is hidden, so youll have to drive around the corner and drive down an alley before finding the parking lot. We ordered the Picnic Veggie Platter and it was enough for 2 people. Note that the complementary miso soup they served was not vegetarian as it had fish in it - it was still delicious. Vegetarian options: Picnic Veggie Platter
Had some sushi and dumplings here yesterday. Sushi was on point. So fresh and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Cant wait to come back and try some of the Korean dishes. Parking: parking in the rear.
I ordered chicken Bibimbap and it was decent. The veggies and chicken was super fresh and delicious. The rice needed to be more crispy and the egg was overdone. Other than that it was excellent.
Had spicy pork bibimbap and some dumplings, and my friend had some noodle dish i cant pronounce, spell, or remember. Food was great, never had korean before. Staff was very kind and on top of things. Food portion was pretty good, if youre hungry it can fill you up, but you could share for sure.
excellent food so far
Delicious salmon poke bowl!!
Korean Fusion food, very tasty and nicely presented. But, parking isnt very easy to find around there. Vegetarian options: There are some good options Kid-friendliness: It wasnt busy in the seating area when we were there and the kids seemed very welcome.
Not good enough, in all honesty. Pricey but indifferent.
LOVED IT !!!
Such an amazing food! And the people are so nice.
We got the salmon poke bowl ($18) and some sushi dinners. Salmon poke bowl was definitely underwhelming, the portion was small and I felt it had more leafy vegetables and less of others. Dynamite roll was amazing and sashimi tasted fresh as well. They have a few tables inside for dining in. Also no parking infront of the building.
Fantastic tasting food. Small portions, and a little on the pricey side. But well worth the money.
The bowls are delicious - packed with veggies and meat! Our toddler loves the yam and avocado rolls. Reasonably priced and very easy to order online and pickup.
WOW! Fresh! So much flavour! Amazing dishes! Kimchi Dumbap, wings, handroll and Yakiudon. You have to try this place!
Terrible service and inaccurate wait times. Ordered from Skip the Dishes and was told it was a 37-47min wait time, ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes for sushi that didn t even taste fresh.
The best bimbimbap around our company orders from this location regularly. We are always happy with our orders.
Excellent food. Love it. Good service.
Such a hidden gem! The sweetest and most friendly people work here! The food is always 10/10, fresh and reasonably priced. A must try!
Just ordered a large variety of items for myself and a group of my co-workers on Doordash and we were very pleased! Did no have any negative reviews from our group and everyone loved what they had. This was a nice change as we typically have shawarma or another form of fast-food. The food was well prepared and well presented. The taste of the food was authentic and tasted great! everyones dish was well portioned and left us all full, happy and in good spirits! The service was quite quick, although we did order ahead of time. Very impressed and we all plan to come back and order food out from here again! Very excited to try the various other things on the menu. Thanks again!
Bibimbap - beef and chicken. I order this at any restaurant I can and taste of Seoul s was my fav. Wife and kids all raved, great portion for the $
Salmon poke bowl was so goood!
Always fresh sushi! Love their honey garlic ribs! Try it!
Customer service, food and the vibes were absolutely chefs kiss definitely a new favourite
Excellent place to eat. Food quality is beyond average. Worth the price
Taste of Seoul is a wonderful little downtown eatery that blows me away every time. Ive tried a little bit of everything on the menu and they never disappoint. Delicious food and lovely service make this the perfect spot to grab some takeout or dine in.
I order the salmon poke bowl once a week for the last few months! ( yes I have an addiction to it) It has always been amazing and a special treat for myself. Today I got it and the bowl was literally empty. Pretty disappointing when you are paying 30 dollars for basically nothing. I recommend the salmon poke bowl but do not order it for delivery make sure you can go in and pick it up so you can see it.
Real tasty. A small and cute place.
Oh my goodness!!! I dont know why we waited so long to try this place because it is SO good!!! The bibimap was so good, the dumplings were amazing (the sauce was crazy good!!!) And their sushi is fresh, and good sized! They paid special attention to my dietary restrictions and I was super impressed! We will be back again soon!
We got Taste of Seoul for takeaway for my birthday, and it was amazing! Best sushi I ve had in years, and the hand rolls are exquisite.
The place is cute and tidy. The service is good too. We ate at the store. I m somehow disappointed coz the plate they use for dining in are paper plates, small plastic spoon and forks(maybe because of covid?) I was also expecting they give us side dishes just like the other korean restaurants. The Bibimbap was somehow cold. To be honest, I ve eaten in many restaurants, this might not be the best for me, but not the worst.
A hidden gem in Kitchener! Friendly staff, well priced and top notch quality food! We have never been disappointed with a meal that weve had. A must try!
Really tasty and friendly service!
Me and my husband had a lot of good experiences with taste of Seoul when buying at their booth at Kitchener Market. Their food is very tasty and the portions are generous. Today we went by bicycle to their restaurant unit and did a take out order. As the weather was getting worse, we didn t take the time to review the items, and to our surprise as we arrived home, one of them was missing (a black dragon, of value 13-14cad). Husband called right away but unfortunately no matter the amount of times he tried, the person whom he was speaking with, didn t understand. As a receipt wasn t handled to us, there s nothing really that can be done at this point. Even though we understand that this is likely a misunderstanding, it left a very bad aftertaste.
I really enjoyed it. I think Ill go often
Vegetarian options are really delicious. Staff is very kind and sweet. Both inside and patio are is comfortable seat but my favourite is how uniq the bathroom design is haha
Hard to fault em. Everything was delicious. They are a little hard to find since the building they are in appears to be for lease or for sale so their ads get lost in the noise. Definatly worth stopping.
Consistently excellent. Fresh, beautifully prepared Korean food and Sushi.
Very delicious platters
Great spot for Sushi. I usually get some Spicy Crab and Salmon rolls along with some Pork & Beef Dumplings. Highly recommend! Staff are very friendly as well.
Oh wow this place blew me away this is now one of my fav. sushi places.
I have come here for work orders and since become a fan ordering almost twice a month that quality of food is outstanding the service is great and I feel even better supporting this local business.
Have been going here for a while and my initial trips were very good indeed. For the most part, theyre still great. Tasty stuff, and the dumplings are awesome,as is the rice and glass noodles. However, Ive noticed theres a real problem with the prep side where chicken is concerned. My last four or five Dupbap sets with chicken, the chicken was very gristle-filled and I found myself having to work around the meat in ways I have never had to before. Maybe Ill try the beef next time, but I had to down a star because this isnt just a one-off.
Update: we hired taste of Seoul to provide the food for our wedding, and they knocked it out of the park. Amazing food (our guests gave us so many compliments on it!!!) and excellent service at an affordable price. 10/10, would hire for catering again. Old reivew: Delicious, healthy, well priced
My partner and I love Taste of Seoul. Great, fresh food offerings with amazing flavours at super reasonable prices. Taste of Seoul is one of our go-to spots and we have never been disappointed with any dish we have ordered from them. **Edit: My now husband and I love Taste of Seoul so much that we asked them to cater our wedding. We couldnt imagine a better caterer and got so many comments from our guests that the food was amazing. They loved the variety, the flavour and the presentation. From a practical perspective, Jin-Hwa was amazing to work with. She was available through texts and emails, came to our venue ahead of time to scope out where to set up, and provided exactly the mix of products we asked for. They did an amazing job setting up the food for the event (including setting up great labels so our guests with dietary restrictions could know what they could eat). I would recommend the taste of Seoul catering to anyone. They far surpassed our high expectations for incredible food. They were such a huge part of making our special day perfect!
Very good for for the price. Love the noodles.
I went to this address to order food, no one picked up the phone then upon reaching saw it was CLOSED with No sign of where they moved!!!!
Not sure what s going on but Taste of Seoul was one of our favourites but the last two times we have seen a decline in quality. A few weeks ago we saw that the Bibimbap was far less than usual. And the latest time the Bibimbap was lacking again and the tofu was hard as a rock. Also the chicken bites looks as if they had shrunk. I figure it s because of inflation but that should not fall on the customer in terms of food quality. One more strike.
Exactly what I wanted. The chicken was so delicious! Order was ready just as I arrived so was still fresh when I go home. Tried both types of chicken wings with the each type of sauce, the dumplings and sushi. Will return again for sure.
Located at 154 Victoria Street South, Kitchener bottom floor this Korean restaurant will serve you an amazing meal. The kimchi is amazing both white and red. The poke bowls are simply delicious. Well worth your time to visit
Cute and cozy place, food is great!
Taste of Seoul is a great little Korean restaurant, the family is very friendly. The fish in the sushi and poke is fresh with nice thick pieces. The spicy pork bibimbap has the right amount of sweet heat from the sauce.
Ive been ordering from them for three years now and they consistently prepare delicious food. Some of my favorites are the poke bowl, spicy veggie roll, dynamite roll and either of their chicken (a tip though, the spicy chicken is better boneless and the honey garlic nicer with the bone in for some reason).
The food was good. Just limit options but would like to go back to try another dish.
Their gluten free options are amazing and safe for a person with Celiac. Highly recommended.
great service and delicious food. we popped in after a long work day and everyone enjoyed their meals.
I ordered Japchae on uber eats, they only gave part of the dish (no rice). You can t expect a high rating with such service.
Average Korean food. Dine in place is out dated .. need to be updated and more tables . Food is okay and staff is very friendly . I had better Korean food in town .
This place was absolutely delicious. The service was very nice and my takeout was ready in under ten mins. The poke bowl I had here was better than any other dedicated poke place Ive been to in the region.
I have been obsessed with this spot for years! If you are a sushi lover, you will love their POKE bowl!
The best poke bowls ever. The presentation and placement of all the ingredients and how they compliment each other is amazing. The portions are good too. The Korean fried chicken was nice and crispy with the perfect amount of sauce, not too little and not too drowning in it, cooked to a nice temperature
Wonderful tasting food. Super friendly customer service.
Absolutely love the food here. Pork bibimbap is my go to but there s definitely lots of good options.
I ve last Taste of Seoul so many times at the KW Market I had to stop buy their little kitchen /restaurant off of victoria. This hole in the wall Korean food place is what Kitchener needs more of. The Bibimbap is simply fresh and delcious I love the purple Korean rice take on dish The dumplings are deathly good and Korean fried wings . Don t get me started they have mastered the flavour. I hope for in-dining again soon? As their place is cute. Have yet to try their catering service
Obsessed with the bbq Salmon Sushi
Top tier k-food restaurant!! Fresh and tasty. Kind employees!
A bit off the beaten path and parking is a bit if a challenge. Food was good with lots of selection and fast, friendly service.
Staff was really friendly and the food was tasty. Ordered twice because the food was delicious. Id recommend their udon soup. 11/10.
You guys always treat me right! As a Canadian Diplomat I think we need to change our veins on The North
poke bowl is very good
Yummy food! Friendly staff :)
Their dragon roll is one of the best, very tasty and great value!
Delicious!
