This is ny favourite place for a shwarma plate! Excellent service and consistently delicious food!

Today we were in the Waterloo/Kitchener area and wanted to have a Middle Eastern lunch. So we looked on Google and found Arabesque in the area. The atmosphere and the food was amazing. Though the service was a bit slow, the staff was very friendly and that compensated for it. Portion sizes were good and very filling. Our server Abbas was also great. Overall a nice place to dine out with a good atmosphere and delicious food. Dietary restrictions: Halal food

I ordered buffet catering for my wedding from arabesque and WOW. When I tell you everyone was SO impressed with the food!!!!!! I m so glad we chose to go with Arabesque catering. Mamoun was so accommodating, kind and very helpful throughout the entire process. The price was also affordable for the amount of people attending my wedding. The food was so delicious, fresh, clean and was a huge success.

Disappointed with the quality of food. I ordered Arayes plat with salad , sweet potato fries and homus. I only get a few fries too much oily and two pieces of tomato . Also , The bread filled with ground meet is not cooked properly. Waiting time can be more than 20 min if not more.

Still one of the worst restaurants in KW. The food isn t authentic. I ve been all over the Middle East and these guys are making it so much better with quality meats and ingredients. The service is fast and friendly and quite frankly they set the bar so high for other middle eastern style restaurants I get disappointed when they don t measure up and with the dozens of other places to buy food with the same words on the menu - you ll just be disappointed time and time again when you decide to eat elsewhere. Especially if you live out of town. You ll just find yourself here - where nothing else is - because the food. Meanwhile, they are thriving where even Pizza Hut could not.

A beautiful and large place to host the family

Caution Scammers! Do not do takeout. You get full container of cheap rice with some very little meat sprinkled on top. Only do dine-in so you can see if they cheat you or not.

The best. Authentic at its finest. Been coming here for years. I ve lived in the Middle East and spent a lot of time in Lebanon. This is a taste of home. The people are also so friendly and take pride in the flavours. Everything is fresh and delicious. Forgot the shawarma place in the strip mall. Do yourself a favour and eat authentic from great people!

Best Shawarma in Canada.... maybe even the world. The hummus and dip platters make it worth a visit. My only complaint is if you dine in the prices are about 5$ more per dish. Personal preference I order to go because that $18 chicken shwarma plate will cost you $23 to dine in. Portions are generous!

Went for lunch on a sunday, absolutely delicious food! Higher prices but I feel its justified as the food quality is definitely a match. Was a little dissapointed in the service, wasnt visited very frequently and was forgotten about at one point, not sure if they were new or extra busy. Will be going again with the hope of an improvement.

This place never disappoints. Entrees average around $25, but the portion sizes are fantastic, and the food is always fresh & cooked to perfection! My favourite entees are the chicken tawook, the shish kebab, and the falafel. The woodfired pita breads that come with your meal are warm pillowy pockets of heaven!

If you are looking for a review on if this place is good just read this trust me. I was in the area and thought id give this place a try. We went inside and were greeted very nicely! I ordered the Chicken shawarma sandwich. It was around 15 dollars. LISTEN, I was actually not expecting this but the portion was huge and I can actually confidently tell you it is one of the best shawarma sandwiches I have ever ate here. The chicken was cooked to perfection and had no zestyness or dryness. It was juicy and had the perfect amount of garlic spread. The guys make it with actual love. It tasted so much like back home (Im from Lebanon). These people dont play. I did order fries in the sandwich since they do that back home and it made it way better so make sure to ask for that! The hummus was so fresh as well it was home made and the baklava for dessert was a little tooo sweet but tasted crazy good. Overall atmosphere was great and very welcoming, nothing bad to really say to be honest. If you are near this place and dont try the chicken shawarma they have, you are actually missing out im serious. Definitely coming back again!

Fresh authentic food that is simply delicious and second to none. This is our restaurant of choice everytime we eat out. My favorite is the beef Shawarma plate. Tonight i tried a new chicken dish called mousahab and it was amazing.. You got to try it. Update. Cant get done raving about this place. Never disappoints. My first.time there after many years of driving by- will definitely be back!! Food. Huuuuge portions in my opinion. Had the beef shwarma plate with extra rice instead of salad. Everything was hot, like just cooked not reheated mass produced feel or flavour. My friend raved about the deep fried cheese!! I didnt give 5 stars on service for my own silly reason- only a personal opinion, certainly not a negative!!! The menu is online and you order online. It kinda feels...cold? But honestly it works, food delivery was fast and very efficient!! All the staff smiled and acknowledged us. The layout/ decor is simple but nice. No pretentious feel,woupd feel comfortable as a date spot, or just a chill meal out. Thank you for a lovely dining experience and I very much lok forward to coming back!!

This place has amazing food, but service could be better. We had to wait a while to get a servers attention, even though they kept walking past us. They just didnt want to look in our direction or check up! We also tried to order the Arabesque pizza but they said they ran out of chicken, which I find so weird for a middle eastern place at 6:30 pm on a Friday night.

Havent been to this place since COVID so it was a long overdue visit. And it did not disappoint, loved everything we ordered. Service was great, our waitress was very friendly. Ordered the hummus, pita, vegetarian plate , falafel plate and it was all absolutely first rate. Fresh , warm and delicious. The dips are amazing. The walnut dip was so flavourful, my kids couldnt get enough of it. Finished it with some harissa ( semolina dessert with pistachio toppings) and coffee. Perfection.

Amazing lunch. we were visiting Kitchener for the day and went for lunch here. We have the 1/2 chicken family platter that was shared by the 5 of us. Lots of food and we also ended up taking some home. Excellent taste and great selection of appetizers were included. Our server (Tabarak) was very pleasant and accommodated all our needs. Will definitely visit this restaurant the next time I am in Kitchener. ADDITION Oct 2024 Re-visited this restaurant again today for dinner. Once again an amazing experience. Food quantity was plentiful. We we served by an amazing gentleman ( Temesgen) who was very polite and accommodating to our requests. All staff were amazing.

This place used to be amazing but sadly it has gone downhill fast. Their hummus recipe has changed for the worst, they dont bake their own pita bread anymore and it shows and they stopped cutting fresh fries. We recently ordered a large meal for a family dinner and the food was bland, flavorless and disappointing. Its a shame..this place was a real gem.

We frequesnt this retairant whenever we are in kitchener. Food is just out of this world. Moe plate hands down best dish .. humus is like nothing I have tested before. Worth the drive to kitchener from gta for this. @arabesque sometimes there is a slightly differential in quality amd quantity plz make sure to keep up your high standards.

I had heard so many positive things about Arabysque, so we decided to visit over the weekend, and it did not disappoint. The food was outstanding, with the hummus being particularly fresh and flavorful. The portion sizes were generous, and the restaurant itself was clean and tastefully decorated. Parking was plentiful, which was a bonus. Our server, Yodit, was both friendly and professional, with a deep knowledge of the menu and dishes. I highly recommend giving this place a try well definitely be returning!

Always a great option! They do deliver if you live nearby for free! Their mix plates of kebab and chicken are good maybe a little on the expensive side though. We have gotten the shawarma mix plate before and this is also very good but maybe on the saltier side. The family meal is great with garlic sauce and/or their hummus. Their muhammara is very nice and had a sweet nutty taste. This isnt served at all middle eastern restaurants and is worth to try if you havent before. Lastly the bread is always warm and fluffy even if you take it to go! The only complaint here is that they are pretty slow during table service and not as attentive as Id like but the staff are very friendly once they do get to you. Definitely come try Arabesque!

The beef shawarma wrap was big enough but it didn t taste as good as I was expected. The prices at the restaurant are different than the prices at the restaurant website!!!! The restaurant is good but, it s not the best. The size of the meat shawarma was good, but the taste was not at the desired level. I did not feel the taste of meat at all, as if it was mixed with other substances that I do not know what they are! We were surprised that the prices in the restaurant were more expensive and higher than the prices written on the restaurant s online website! This thing is definitely annoying. In general, the restaurant is normal, and I hope it will change for the better.

This has been my favourite shawarma restaraunt for a while, I ve broadcasted it to so many people. BUT . The quality of the orders as well as the portion has gone down in the last couple of years that I m no longer excited about this place. The portions have decreased and prices have increased (as has been the case everywhere ) however the quality of the food has declined. They ve messed up my take out order 50% of the time and they don t put the same care and effort into the plates as they once did.

The food is amazing and Id happily get take out in the future, but am hesitant to dine in again. This has been our go-to spot for dining out and the food has always been phenomenal taste and value (for individual meals). The service has always been adequate, with the exception of the most recent visit. Brought friends for their birthday for the delicious food and family style experience and would not do that again. No water refills, no plates provided with family meal (took 15 mins to get plates), not all food indicated on menu arrived with meal and had to ask for it, no offer of coffee or dessert. The server was hard to track down (there were 2 occupied tables at the time and two servers). Family meal, for a much higher per person price, had less food per person than individual-plated meals. Had to go to front to get the bill (other tables had bill dropped off). An ask for a 50/50 cost split was divided 60/40 and not corrected. The server did apologize for forgetting the plates and half of the pita bread. But so much went wrong that it detracted from the experience. Note the takeout menu and dine in menu are different and exceptions cannot be made.

There are a lot of shawarma restaurants popping up, but few produce food at this high level of quality. Additionally, I find the portion sizes to be generous. I would recommend to my family and friends. Make sure to try the red cabbage salad!

Simply delicious and serving sizes are large! We (2) ordered small salads, the half mixed grill and baclava and had lots left over for a second meal. The restaurant is busy but efficient. Food is fresh and lots to choose from.

Family owned and welcomed from the moment you step in the door. Options to eat in or take out. There is plenty of seating. Staff are always amenable to combining tables for large groups. The food is consistently high-quality, freshly prepared, and flavourful. The hummus is hard to beat, always served with that little pool of olive oil in the center. The front counter has foods and desserts ready to take home, including the 5-star hummus! Vegetarian options: Many options, including falafel, salads, fries, and Middle Eastern style pizzas. Parking: Multiple spots in front, side, and rear of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Large booths, spacious seating areas, high chairs, and menu options for little ones. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible with walkways and automatic doors and different styles of tables.

The food here never disappoints and the staff are great too. This is my #1 choice of where to eat. Shawarma plate and the dip platter are my favourites. Dont forget to take a hummus for home too!

This restaurant is a gem! The food is fresh fresh fresh ! Lots of vegan options . The Falafels were crispy and not dry! They are a must try ! On our way out I got myself a baklava. It was one of the best I ve ever had . The people there are very kind and friendly ! I didn t have any cash on me for the baklava. I was going to my car to grab some and the gentleman over the counter just gave it to me, no charge ! I would definitely recommend this place 100%!! It was such a wonderful experience !

We come here every Thursday night, they have the best food in the entire tri-city area hands down. The grab and go hummus and stuff is also incredible and the online ordering doesn t cost extra like it would through skip the dishes or the like!

Best Chicken Shawarma Ive ever had! Now live in Windsor and every Shawarma option is a huge flavorless dry disappointment. Wood fired stone oven serves gorgeous pitas with a subtle scent of cinnamon, served ballooned hot and steams when you tear into it ! No pitas out of a 12 pack bag from the grocery store here !

Best Chicken Shawarma I have ever had, and I ve tried many!!! Fresh Made pita fantastic!!!, Baba ghanoush is absolutely phenomenal, their rice, garlic sauce are very good as well! I really love the very smooth creamy texture of their humus, but I do think the the flavour greatly needs garlic and lemon juice! Service was very good! But I think they need to pay more attention to cleanliness in areas like the the floors, booths etc. it truly is my favourite Lebanese restaurant!!!

Got some amazing takeout for a family birthday today. Ordering online is seemless and quick. I love the attention to detail with the extra requests being recognized and respected. The food was fantastic and portions were generous. Still one of my favourite restaurants in Kitchener Waterloo. I can never get enough of the garlic sauce. The portion is large, would recommend a half family platter plus a shawarma plate to share. Kefka kebab is my favourite kebab here! Chicken kebab a little dry.

Excellent customer service. But food was very plain. Even they served hummus by side of the shawarma platter, which didnt taste like hummus. Kebabs were tasteless,you cant even feel any spices or salt.

Great food with good portions at a fair price. We order a family dish for 2 adults and 2 children and it worked perfectly with some leftovers to take home. Nice service. The restaurant was smelling like food a little too much and thats why I cant give 5 stars for atmosphere, although the decor is interesting too.

Food was overpriced, bland, and portions were small. Some were not even warm. The meat was dry and under-seasoned. The servers didn t seem to understand English. Will not be returning.

The only authentic tasting middle eastern food in Kitchener-Waterloo (according to my immigrant Syrian husband). The owner is always around and happy to greet customers. The menu is online and you order from your phone both for takeout and dining in (for health purposes). The bathrooms are clean and have quality sanitary supplies for your use (at least from what Ive seen in the womens bathroom). The atmosphere is inspired by the Bedouins of Arabia, with beautiful metal trinket decor and hand-woven seat covers. If you are a vegetarian the tabbouleh and Baba ganoush are ALWAYS phenomenal, just absolutely out of this world. The portions are a decent to generous size, so each added item adds up. If youre a meat eater youre going to love everything!! With every dine-in meal they give you limitless fluffy freshly baked pita bread made in a stone oven, served with hummus. It is beyond incredible, and I highly suggest ordering the baba ganoush for this starting appetizer ritual. If you dont know what to order try the variety of Arabic pizzas with cheese and zatar (a Tyme, garlic and sesame seed mix). I have gone to this restaurant at least 8 times in the last 5 months. As you might know in the KW area there is a lack of real authentic flavour with ethnic restaurants, but not Arabesque!! They are the real deal. 7/5 stars. 2022 Update: The food is STILL amazing and the Shawarma is authentic!! 2024 Update: The food is still fresh, authentic and phenomenal!! Try the dip sampler - its an excellent way to find something you like!! Vegetarian options: Excellent options for vegetarians, my favourites are the baba ganoush, pita and hummus, tabouli salad, and cabbage salad. Dietary restrictions: The restaurant seems very accommodating to gluten free and vegetarian requests. Parking: There will always be a parking space because this restaurant is within a plaza which has a large parking lot. Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is for families of all sizes and walks of life. Wheelchair accessibility: The walkway to the restaurant is pavement which is sloped to meet the parking lot level.

best shawarma ever. nothing will ever beat this place. i ve tried so many shawarma places but nothing will ever beat the deliciousness of this food. the chicken is moist and flavourful, the rice is perfect, the hummus and toum are to die for, and don t even get me started on the bread , love their adam wrap, and their family meal bundle when i m with my loved ones. this place is perfect!!! i ve never been disappointed once.

Tried for first time and was not impressed. Food was over cooked outside and a bit raw on the inside. Are you cooking from frozen? Servers were non existent. Was recommended by a family friend but I wont be doing the same.

We placed an order for a team lunch and honestly the food was ill packed. We had leaking sauces, packaging was the paper like containers which meant heavy condensation. The fries were wet due to this, overall just go for dine in not takeout.

The owner of the restaurant is stingy. I asked for orders, and when I told him I wanted pickles, he asked for money, and even the order came dry without pickles, tomatoes, or anything. Unfortunately, we are Arabs, but God blesses us to do everything with money and to be stingy, even hummus. I asked for a large plate without olive oil in it Dry hummus (Blessing is sweet)

Athmosphere is not bad but it s too warm, it feels like you re in the kitchen. Service was not good. I didn t get one item in my order at all. We asked for plates and water (separately) and both of them weren t brought to us for a long time. Then we had to ask again. Food is definitely in good portion. The taste is pretty decent as well. Its totally worth it, and Im giving it a solid five stars all the way!

I was brought here by my Filipino cousin-in-law and loved every part of the dining experience! From the dips (hummus, muhammarah and baba ganoush), salad and the grilled meats, everything was superb. Oh and one of the best parts was definitely the freshly made pita breads! Our server was Ferdos and she went above and beyond making sure we had a great experience. Definitely a gem in Kitchener / Waterloo area!

Amazing food!! Slow service. Dont go on your lunch break, you will spend an hour 15 min here easily + the commute to and from work

Noisy!!! Food was not what it used to be and unreasonably priced !

I came here with my family. We were all very hungry, aside from my father, and the family platter was a delicious choice!
