Best food Ive ever eaten. Amazing staff. Wish for them to have better music playing

Came to pickup last minute items for extra guests dinner but they closed early. Unfortunately this isnt the first time Ive been here half an hour before close and the lights were already off.

I have to go here every once in a while! By choice love the foods, staff and its the only place in town with decent chevaps! Dietary restrictions: Its mostly meat and dairy. But has some great fries!

Cozy spot with homestyle food with generous portions. Had the meat platter, and it was delicious.

opska salad with no cucumber, no peppers, no feta cheese. 3 main ingredients just missing. Only chopped tomatoes and onion. Its a joke. Chevaps just taste so weird, like those with pork in it.

Best hamburger Ive ever had in the KW area and you cant beat the price for what you get or the service.

I grew up with Serbians, so I love their food and the culture. This place has the food that I love! They have a small cafe in the back and a patio for the summer season.

Great location within walking distance of Victoria Park and Downtown. Great place for groceries and the restaurant is amazing. Would definitely recommend getting some food and sitting on their patio! Huge portion sizes as well. Mickey is great and always goes above and beyond.

The best balkan food in the area by far. Has everything you are looking for in the shop if you want to cook at home while also having an amazing restaurant if you are looking to eat out. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. Miki especially has helped me out a ton on my visits there

10/10 food!! Always come in the mornings on the weekend for a serbian breakfast! The server usually has soccer on the TV which makes the eating experience much better. Would recommend to all my friends

Great food and great people!

We came in looking for basic hot dogs (because sometimes you just need that fast food hit) thankfully the owners recommend the cevapi. And OMG the flavor profile was beyond incredible! They were super helpful, and friendly the food was delicious, they had a lovely patio in the back where we got to enjoy our meal and of course the little Euro convenience store (located inside restaurant) had a variety of goodies. Now I have a new obsession and will definitely return with more friends and family to try their food. Thank you for the excellent service Parking: A few parking diagonal spots in the back.

We decided to drop in at Jasna s this morning for a coffee. My wife and I had been to Europe the last three months and we were looking for a European flavoured place to stop for a coffee. We were greeted by Ana. who was very helpful and friendly. The dining area was very quaint and interesting. They have a espresso machine and also serve Turkish coffee. We decided on the Turkish coffee which was delicious. The prices are quite reasonable. We have found our European coffee shop to enjoy here in Kitchener!! As we walked around the store, we saw their selection of teas. it is the best selection of teas I ever seen in my life, which is a long time. We will be going back on a regular basis! I will add pictures in the future to show how quaint the restaurant section of the store is.

Delicious Serbian breakfast! Fried eggs, cevaps, lepina bread, a bit of salad. Tasty cappuccino. Wish the fries were home fries, but they were still tasty!

Super friendly and delicious euro/ Mediterranean food

Sweet deli ... Service is absolutely great, as is the ham n cheese sandwich or Chicken burger . Parking: 8 or 10 alongside of building.

Amazing European/Serbian restaurant and grille with European groceries in the heart of Kitchener

Authentic Eastern Europe market plus a really nice restaurant in the back. I got the large cevapi to go and it was delicious. Good portion. Fresh and tasty. Will be back to try the cabbage rolls and other tasty items on their menu.

My favourite café in Kitchener-Waterloo. The staff here is truly the best. Everyone who works here is so friendly and a pleasure to see. I love the Turkish coffee and the delicious Fructal organic juices are the best in town. The food is great too. Also, the building has the coolest interior Ive ever seen. I love the seats and decorations. This is a very nice place to sit and relax. Its the perfect place to invite a friend to chat. 10/10

Great experience. Ordered a platter for 6 for a small dinner party we were hosting and it was delicious! Large portions karadjordjeva was to die for And The bread was fresh. Service was excellent. My husband is Muslim and can t eat pork, they even took the time to make sure he had something he could eat too, when Jasnas didn t have to. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend hvala vam! I bought a cake from this restaurant just before Christmas, thought i would surprise my family since Im the last person to supply pastries or cake it is not my expertise.. I asked for Tiramisu since I know everyone at home will like it , but after talking to Jasna she advised me that she will make some new pastries in next day or two .. decided to go with cheese and fruit pastries which looked really nice on shelf . Got a fresh order day before Christmas and woow, I cant remember last time my whole picky family was so impressed ..thumbs up for this lady kids absolutely loved it ! Amazing food at incredibly good prices. Im so glad I found this little hidden gem. There is also a grocery store with a lot of imported goods you cant easily find elsewhere. Unfortunately I was in a rush and didnt have time to check out all the aisles but I will definitely be back! Parking: A few parking spots behind the restaurant.

Be very carefully people they steal money, they charge more from what the product suppose to charge.check your receipt before leave the store.

Jasnas is a quiet little place on the corner of Courtland and Benton in Kitchener. They offer both dine-in and take-out options. Family-owned and operated out of the storefront where they offer Serbian groceries, meats and sweets. Jasnas is delicious homemade food from Canadian fare to Serbian delicacies. Check them out for sure!

Very cute family run business. Staff were super friendly and let us know what everything on the menu was. The Serbian breakfast was amazing and a great value. Tres leches cake was also fantastic and very reasonably priced. Honestly one of my favourite restaurants in KW

Tried the Serbian breakfast and Turkish coffee here and I was not disappointed. Everything was delicious. The staff were super sweet and gave us a detailed description of all the the desserts at the end of our meal. Definitely will be coming back for more.

The market portion is excellent as it has everything and more from what we are used to finding at a normal Balkan market. The prices are reasonable, and for certain items can be slightly cheaper than other Balkan markets. The restaurant portion is amazing. Interior is designed to resemble older traditional architecture, and the food is always great tasting and great portion sizes. The pricing is average as compared to other restaurants that sell the same items. Only issue is parking. The parking is very small, and narrow. It is one way in/out but some people cannot see and it causes issues when trying to maneuver through.

The food and service is amazing. I always order the cevapi, so delicious.

Chevaps in this restaurant are delicious and they come with bread made on site.

Had the Serbian breakfast and the cheeseburger. Quality and the way everything is prepared is top quality. My go to spot whenever I want a home cooked Serbian meal.

A hidden gem, a must go. Very good family run grocery store with lots of items from former Yugoslavia. ( Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia etc ). Haven t tried the restaurant side yet, but I m sure it ll be authentic. Prices are reasonable for everything able to be purchased.

What a lovely place! Very welcoming. The dessert I had was delicious. I will be back to try more items on their menu. I visited when it was not crowded and I regretted not bringing my journal or a book to sit there and soak in the atmosphere in silence because it was very peaceful. Definitely next time!

Ive been coming here now for 6 years and this is a real hidden jem in Kitchener. How is it possible we never heard about this place before? three of us came and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and the environment is so European, takes me back home to my Czech roots. The food is so tasty, the eggs are done incredibly well and the service was very warm and wonderful. The bean soup is to die for and in the shopska salad is wonderfully Tangy with just the right amount of onions and lots of cheese on top.

Delicious meal at Jasna s and wonderful service from Jasna herself! We had cevapi, chopska salata and schnitzel - all very delicious and flavourful. The cevapi especially had really lovely lepinje - very pillowy and fresh. Lots of fun imports to choose from when it comes to beverages. After our meal, we bought some pantry items for our home like ajvar and turkish delight for our turska kafa. Would absolutely return any time!

Fantastic food in their restaurant! I had the grilled chicken and french fries and the fries were the best Ive had....ever! The chicken was delicious and it was a large portion. Will shop in their deli in future as the smoked meat smelled heavenly!

Just went there tonight. A hidden little gem of a place - store, deli, dessert bar and restaurant all in one. The dining room has a charm and a rare ambiance of coziness found only in a true Euro style cafe. Great variety on the menu, great taste, fair prices, generous portions, and Miki the owners son could not be more friendly, helpful, or accommodating. Serbian or not, check it out.

Cozy Balkan eatery in the back of her food shop, good for a hungry boy to fill his stomach with heavy Yugoslav delicacies such as cevapi and burek. Only complaint is that the burek was premade and heated in the microwave, not freshly baked.

I live in Toronto and visit this restaurant anytime Im visiting my family in Kitchener. If youre looking for a delicious home cooked meal with friendly service and VERY reasonable prices, this is THE place. From the home cooked menu to the amazing European specialty groceries, besides seeing my dad, this is the highlight of coming to Kitchener. My favourite is the bean soup with cabbage salad.

The best roast pork in Canada!

Had a traditional European coffee and pastries. Husband and I stopped at Jasnas because it was a beautiful day to have coffee outside. (Being in a wheelchair it was great to see a ramp for wheelchair access, but unfortunately no access to inside.) The coffee was a full, rich flavor and pastries were quite fresh. The service was fantastic and I rarely say this. Enjoy your visit if you decide to go.

Hidden gem! Ive been meaning to come here for months. Finally got it and it was worth it! I ordered the goulash beef stew which comes with mashed potatos, coleslaw salad and fresh steaming bread. The value is incredible. The taste is delicious. Friendly little gem, like stepping into a little bistro in Europe. I cant wait to come back and try the other dishes. Yum.

My favourite European deli in the K-W area. Great selection of delicious European deli meats. Burek is excellent. Lots of unique European pantry items and frozen foods. I ordered a full roast pig for a family event and it was PERFECT - perfectly seasoned, perfectly roasted. Staff are friendly and helpful, even when its busy.

Love this shop! They have this fresh cream called qaimaq they make it themselves in the store, it s such a tasty spread for crackers and charcuterie meats. I shop here every week.

I had the bean soup and chevapi and absolutely loved every bite. I m so sad I don t live in the city, otherwise I d be here all the time! The dishes are affordable, the portions are generous, and the food is tasty. This place reminds me of the local shops I visited across Eastern Europe. So glad I got to experience this place. I m almost tempted to make the drive from Toronto just to have another meal here

Tons of authentic and traditional Serbian snacks, teas, meats and treats. The shop is FULL so the isles are tight and its a bit cramped but they have so many great euro treats

Ive been coming to get tea to go, which is on the menu, daily without a problem for the past few weeks. Recently a young man showed up and told me that they dont serve tea here, that I should buy a box of tea bags and go make it at home.

This is by far the best small restaurant in Kitchener. The goulash, the schnitzel and chevapis are better than anyone would expect. The store sells real smoked meat, you can smell it from the door...

Pleasantly surprised by the breakfast here! I had one of their breakfast plates, and it was a cheap yet hearty meal, served with delicious homemade bread and some nice veggies. I added a side of bacon and it was perfection. I will say, I asked for eggs over easy and they were hard cooked, and when I arrived to pick it up she hadnt started making it yet, but the quality of the food and the price really negated all that for me. New favourite breakfast spot for sure!

European food, is a good place to buy something from old continent.

They carry a wide variety of European (Balkan) foods and goods. My husband and I frequent a different store but we are going to incorporate this one as well. They have smoked meats, European snacks, tea, personal care products etc. They are attached to a restaurant where they serve the some of the best Cevapis (Yugoslavian decliousness) in town. I was greeted with someone who speaks both Yugoslavian and English. Everything is well organized and fairly reasonably priced.

Amazingly delicious food - fresh, tasty, cooked to perfection. Whatever you go with you wont regret it, just be pleasantly surprised. I had an opportunity to share taste of Serbian Punjena Pljeskavica (Serbian burger), frise and shopska salads with my team at work and 25+ people were blown away by the amazing Serbian cuisine. Jasna (the owner) and her staff are very nice, friendly and kind. Amazing customer service in warm and friendly environment

Awesome European deli with a good selection of various imported yummy items. Jasna and the staff are super friendly. And... the pièce de résistance... a lovely cafe/restaurant with a European vibe hidden at the back of the store. The food is authentic and very tasty. I sometimes go there during a mid day break just to have one of their fresh pastries with an espresso. A little gem of a place

One of my favorite places to go to buy deli meats and cheeses. All the amazing food selection, friendly staff, and the beautiful aroma of smoked meats makes this deli one of the most enjoyable spots in Kitchener.

I love this place! The food is incredible and the people are very nice and personable.
