Ceviche and deep fried fish were both excellent. Well prepared and presented food. Nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this place especially if you are looking for something different.
Delicious Peruvian restaurant with big portion plates and great service. Pitcher of Maracuya was amazing and the availability of beer is a plus, especially on my bday. I would recommend TV volume to be lower than the music. Better to hear some good music than politics/ crime/ etc. Be back again, muchas gracias!
I recently celebrated a special occasion with a great dinner at La Crema. This was our first time exploring Peruvian cuisine, and La Crema made it a delicious introduction. The service was warm and attentive. The portions were generous, providing great value, and the seafood was fresh. Overall, La Crema delivered a wonderful dining experience that I highly recommend.
What a gem! We had ceviche traditional to share and the Peruvian paella. Everything was prepared fresh for us. So not a quick dinner which was fine for us. If you’re looking for great fresh ethnic food at a great value try this place!
It's the first time I've tried Peruvian food and was pleasantly surprised. Everything in the mother's day special platter was delicious & the servers were very polite.
Surprised we have a Peruvian restaurant in Kitchener,,,,, it’s amazing!! Reasonable prices and the chef is friendly. Ceviche, the reason why came here, is amazing!!!! Must try this place if you love ceviche , the seafood soup is enough for four people, seriously, generous portions for every thing. Definitely coming here again and introducing our friends and family.
Was so happy to find a Peruvian restaurant here in Kitchener. Food was wonderful, ceviche tasted just like it did in Peru. Friendly owner, nice decor, just an overall great experience. Will definitely be back
We went to La Crema during a late lunch time and there wasn’t many people inside when we arrived, so we got a seat right away. They brought us menus right away. We got their Inca Kola which is a traditional Peruvian pop. We opted for the 2.25L one instead of the smaller ones because this one was imported from Perú and it was $10. It’s not too fizzy, very sweet and almost a bit creamy but you have to try it for yourself! For food we got the Ceviche tradicional ($20) which comes with fresh fish and two types of corn, the Peruvian corn is not sweet like the ones we have here. So delicious especially if you like ceviche. We also got the Arroz con mariscos ($24) which is the Peruvian style paella, the dish was full of seafood, the sauce was creamy and flavourful, highly recommend! They also gave us this homemade sauce that was a bit creamy and tangy, it paired so well with the rice and you could put it in any dish. So delicious, you can probably ask them for some if you go. The waiter was so kind, she was patient and tried chatting with us. They speak Spanish and English in there, so pick whatever language you feel the most comfortable in. The food didn’t take too long to come out, it was very delicious, the only downside was that it was a bit pricey. But we did get a lot of seafood so that makes sense, and we got a 2.25L bottle of imported pop. Overall, I would recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back to try different dishes!
Delicious food, good size of food
Excellent food, so good to come back. I love all the food, good portions. I ll repeat.
I got the Valentino special, was awesome. Rate 11/10
valentino hooked me up
Very good Peruvian food. However, after 4-5 visits I ve found the slow and disorganized service is becoming an issue and is distracting from the meal.
Pretty unique place for Kitchener, worth a try.
Seafood paella was incredible.
Excelent restaurant! I was visiting Stratford for one week and I decided to drive to Kitchener to try some peruvian food. It was amazing. The food is awsome! I suggest you to try the Anticuchos. Next time I go visit the city, for sure I will go back to this restaurant.
Portions are generous, price is fair and service it s simple amazing!!! Ceviche was great but I loved the tallarines a la huancaina. Definitely coming back for more
Super! Fresh Food.
Amazing, I loved him the best incredible
A local gem. I ve never had Peruvian food, glad I finally tried it. The staff were super friendly. We will be back!
Delicious! First time having ceviche. It was yummy. The beef heart appetizers are excellent. Great food, casual atmosphere. I recommend this place. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options. Kid-friendliness: Dined with 3 kids, ages 0-10 years old. No problem.
The ceviche and anticuchos keeps us going back for more!
La Cremas ceviche was like rediscovering sushi for the first time - revolutionary! Absolutely delicious! The other things on their menu are very tasty too and the service is friendly. This is my favorite restaurant in the KWC area.
I am not peruvian. The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are very big. The service is also great. Highly recommend!
Extremely expensive for not so satisfying meal. They need to up their game in quality and freshness. Amateur chef .. Food
My son and I ate lunch here while we were in the area. I cannot say enough good things about our experience!
Cozy place, very good service, they treated me very well both times I went. As a recommendation, they should improve the atmosphere of the place, for example, playing traditional Peruvian music. The two times I went and brought foreign friends, 90s techno music was playing, not bad, but knowing that it is the only Peruvian restaurant in Kitchener, I would have liked them to have a total experience. The delicious food!!
I dont recommend it at all
Food was great, lomo saltado is just like in Peru. Staff was friendly too!
We went there for anniversary for the first time. It was amazing. Its a small restaurant, but its filled with atmosphere. The owner is extremely welcoming and friendly. We werent familiar with Peruvian foods so she took the time to explain different tastes to us. Very attentive and friendly. The good portions were huge. The meats were tender and well spiced. She mentioned to us they are locally sourced and organic. You could definitely tell they were better cuts of meats. The menu is extremely affordable. I was shocked at how little the bill was ( just left us room to give a more generous tip ). I can honestly say this was the best Latin food Ive tried in Kitchener. You wont be disappointed.
Gross!!!...If you dont mind eating off DIRTY DISHES!!! Funny how you say youre the owner and have No idea what Im talking about when youre restaurant has just been cited by the city for your dirty dishes! Explain that
Born and raised in Lima, and tried many Peruvian restaurants here in the GTA and can say this is one of the best one so far ( Sorry El Inka ) Loved the combinations given, seafood dishes. Provided us with an opportunity to try various dishes. The Lomo, ceviche, causa, Jalea, Everything was amazing. Give it a try.
Excellent restaurant! The best Peruvian food Ive tried so far!
Amazing food and staff!!
Good food, very good service and the closeness with the chef is very good, nothing to say. 10000% recommended.
Great Peruvian food! The food is authentic and made right on the spot. And if you re up for a cocktail, you need to try their Pisco Sour!
We really enjoy our visit. The food was delicious, tasty, we finished our evening satisfied!! The service was really good too!! Recommend it 100% Food
Truly authentic Latino South American experience. From the staff to the food. Huge portions, loved it.
Great food and service. We loved it and will definitely come back.
We dined in and had the beef hearts and the seafood soup. So flavourful! Their house made hot sauce complimented very well. The service was outstanding! Friendly, clean and fast.
Amazing Peruvian restaurant! This is exactly the kind of out of the way, but authentic restaurant I love to eat at! The owners seemed to be a bit surprised at me coming in and asked a lot of questions to make sure I would be comfortable ordering what I ate, but we sat down and chatted and had a wonderful time getting to know each other. I ordered the spicy ceviche which was very fresh and had the perfect amount of acid. I feel like they went conservative on the spice unsure if I really could handle what they usually do because they warned me it was spicy twice, but then I found it wasnt very spicy at all by my standards. It was easily the best ceviche I have had in a non coastal city. I then had a combination plate with skewers of shrimp, chicken and beef heart. The shrimp was juicy and cooked perfectly, the chicken was flavour and the beef heart was perfectly tender and amazing. It was served with grilled potatoes and hominy. One challenge with this restaurant is the hours. They are only open Thursday to Sunday and close relatively early (between 6 and 9 depending on the night) It took me a while to get there when they were open, but it was definitely worth it. I cant wait to go back!
Evan says you should eat here!
Food presentation excellent, a lot of exotic flavors and a lot of options in the menu. Excellent customer service . Overall, good experience My only suggestion is to add more flavor to the lomo saltado dish to be more authentic. Kid-friendliness: 3 options for kids salchipapas
Delicious food, very good portions. highly recommended
The food tastes excellent, and the natural drinks are delicious.
Excelente food, congrats guys. I bought a Ceviche Mixto and two main dishes (Jalea Tradicional and Arroz con Mariscos) for my wife birthday party and we all loved the taste of everything.
Fresh and delicious food!! Owner and chef both are friendly and pleasant to speak to :) I wish them all the best for their restaurant. Portions are quite generous and filling. Maybe can do a little better with the ambiance. Definitely going back again, very soon!
We went to la Crema last Saturday. The anticuchos, lomo saltado and Jalea were yummy. The ceviche was watery (fish was not properly defrost or dry) and the arroz con Marisco has too much aji panca or especial. The service was good. I may go back if I am near that area.
Super delicious, I liked that their food is very Peruvian. Very friendly, fair prices. 100% recommended
Excellent service and delicious food!
Recommended by some friends, we visited for lunch and everything we ate was delicious. We had yucca fries, ceviche and rice with seafood. We also had a maracuja juice that was also very fresh and good. The rice portion was huge and we could not finish it and took it home with us. Will probably come back to try their other dishes.
This place has the best Peruvian food I ve had outside of Peru. They stay with the traditional recipes and not the silly fusion style options you find all over with terrible results. I ve tried Lomo Saltado, Jalea, Ocopa and Papa a la huancaina and they were delicious. I highly recommend this place to everyone
As Peruvian, I have tried different Peruvian restaurants in Ontario and this is definitely a good one. The flavour of the food is similar to what you find back home. Would be back for sure to try more.
Food was really good.
Ordered the ceviche mixto and was very happy with the portion and freshness of the seafood! Looking forward to trying it again.
Its very delicious but it opens super late, you go out at 12 to eat
Hidden gem, loved it!
Delicious food and great portions. Very traditional dishes from Peru. Staff very friendly!
I bought 2 chickens for lunch with my family in the park and when we tried them, we realized that they were very raw. It is known that eating raw chicken is dangerous for your health and that is why I decided to call the La Crema restaurant to return them. The manager only dedicated herself to making excuses for what happened, blaming the other workers at the premises. It took me more than an hour between going and returning to the park, I wasted fuel for the car trip and the person in charge did not offer any compensation for the bad time, the loss of time and the expense of fuel. I will not buy anything else in this restaurant.!!! The second time we were in the restaurant we paid more than 20 dollars for 2 bottles of Inca Cola and extra fries. I dont believe you can call that as for free...
Absolutely love their la crema ceviche. Beef heart skewers were lovely as well if youre a fan of offal in general. Also cant miss the mixed juices which are perfect for summer.
Found this gem in a neighborhood where we were staying. Modest furnishings but dont be disuaded. The food was exceptional. Bit of a mix up on the food order for three of us but the owner resolved in a wonderful manner. We had ceviche, beef and chicken dishes. The pasta, meat and the spices were so fresh. Absolutely, definitely recommended.
Was just passing by Kitchener and my family and I were craving some Peruvian food. I am pleased to say we came across a wonderful place with equally as wonderful staff. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. We had multiple fun conversations with them. The food itself tastes very authentic and tasty. Would most definitely come back if I pass by Kitchener :))
Everything is very delicious and the attention is super!
The food is very good and the attention is 10
Yummy food but the service was really slow. My husband received his order before me and finished his dinner before mine ever came out we then had to ask where my order was. Food should be served at the same time or at least communicated if there was a mistake.
The food was great. Main dishes came wildly apart so I almost finished my meal before my date got hers. We shared mine and shared hers and made the most of it though. Attached is friend fish and cassava fries. Excellent with the mayo provided. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly space and noise is not an issue
Authentic Peruvian ceviche and jalea in the KW area. Delicious!! Ive been here probably 5 times now, and will be back!
Authentic Peruvian food. Delicious and quick. A must try! You wont be disappointed!
Love the ceviche!
What a gem! Peruvian (genuine, not based on true story) restaurant! Where?! - Here in Kitchener! Today my daughter and I finally committed to go to La Crema. We lucked out since it was not busy and we enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the freshest and tastiest food. (Did I mention it was an authentic Peruvian food?) Since everything must be prepared fresh from scratch one should expect some waiting (for people on the run theres Shawarma place right next door). Louis and Louisa make a wonderful family, owners, chef and a hostess. We are so grateful for them bringing this wonderful Peruvian taste and experience to our town. I deliberately avoid mentioning what exactly we ordered because based on our impression we decided to keep coming with friends and family until at least we go through every item on the menu.
I was happily surprised with this Peruvian restaurant, everything was delicious, good prices, the service was good too. As a Peruvian, I 100% recommend it!!
Our favorites are the anticuchos, the ocopa and the chicharrón
Closed, no attention, no contact number
They just opened 2 weeks ago and I ve had the best food and experience I could ask for, the Anticuchos I had were definitely one, if not the best ones I ve had, gracias!
The other day, while in the Talize plaza in Kitchener, I noticed that La Crema Peruvian Restaurant in the back corner of the plaza was finally open! Like many people, I ve been waiting for months for this happy event! So I went in and talked with a lady who seemed to be an owner. She said that they d just been open for three weeks now. After more talk and a look at the menu, I promised to be back soon with my wife to try the food. The next evening on Saturday, we were there. Or should I say late afternoon. They are only open Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at this point, so we had to go a little earlier than we were accustomed to for supper so that we could get in before they closed for the evening. I m hoping they ll start staying open later in the evenings in order to get more of the supper crowd, but we so badly wanted to try this place that we didn t mind going earlier. The hostesses were friendly & welcoming. There were a few customers in the dining area, but lots of tables were still available. The first thing that really impressed me was the music. I m always impressed when an ethnic restaurant plays music from their culture instead of local pop music. In this case, there was Latino music playing in the background. This really helps with the atmosphere! The other thing that impressed me was that the other customers appeared to all be Latinos. That speaks volumes about the authenticity of the food. La Crema doesn t have its liquor license yet, so when we were asked what drinks we wanted, I decided to try a Peruvian soft drink called Inca Kola for the first time. I was expecting something like Coke and was rather surprised to see that it looked like Mountain Dew and tasted kind of like a cream soda. It was actually quite good and worth a try. In terms of food, the menu featured quite a number of items well-known in Peruvian cuisine, including ceviche, the national dish of Peru, also known as Peruvian sushi. Unfortunately, neither my wife nor I are sushi fans, so it wasnt an option for us. Instead we ordered several other dishes to share. The first was an appetizer called Papa a la Huancaina. This consisted of slices of boiled potato smothered in a creamy cheese sauce made from fresh white cheese, yellow Peruvian pepper, red onion, and garlic, and topped with a couple of black olives and a slice of boiled egg. The sauce had a unique flavour that was rather tasty and we added a bit of spicy sauce from a side dish to give it a little more heat. Our second appetizer was Anticuchos. These were two skewers of marinated and grilled beef heart. As a child, I remember heart meat being rather tough and chewy, something that was far from the case here. The meat on the skewers had been cut into thin slices and was so tender and delicious! My wife is not a fan of organ meat but I convinced her to try a piece and even she liked it! But the piece de resistance was the Lomo Saltado, our main dish. It consisted of pieces of soy-marinated beef, onions, tomatoes, chilies, and other spices all stir-fried together. It s served atop French fries and accompanied by a mound of rice that helped soak up the tasty gravy produced by the stir-fry. They offer different spice levels, so we asked for a medium-spice level and did not find it overly hot. Would probably ask them to turn it up just a notch next time. We plan to return again to try some of their other dishes soon. Their chicken dishes look delicious! We d highly recommend giving this new restaurant a try!
Very rich
A taste of Peru in KW is exactly what we ve been needing. They re still ramping up to full business capacity and appreciate our patience. The food is delicious, pollo a la brasa made per order! I can t wait to be back and try more dishes
Fresh and yummy food!!!
We wanted to experience a different cuisine, and La Crema was a real deal! Luisa (the manager of the restaurant) was super friendly. The food was fresh and genuine. We tried Inka cola, a Peruvian drink, which was great.
Absolutely recommend this restaurant. Delicious food made fresh, best ceviche I ve had, soup was phenomenal, and beef was perfect. If you enjoy Peruvian food you won t find better! Great find in Kitchener Ontario!
The food was amazing! I recommend trying the Ronda marina and the mango juice. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new restaurant to try in Kitchener.
I really enjoyed my experience at this place, food was mind blowing and the fresh juice was delicious. If you have been wanting to try authentic Peruvian food, this is the right place to do so. Amazing
Food 5 stars Service 5 stars Fantastic! This is the first time I tried Peruvian food; and it really impressed me; especially Ceviche Tradicional. It is like sushi but not like sushi at the same time. I also ordered Arroz Con Mariscos; it is like fried rice with seafood that come with sauces made in Peruvian style; unique in its own sense. Only concerning issue is the price; it is quite expensive; may be I should visit this place once a month instead once every week because of the price. Highly recommend it!
Ceviche is out of this world. Tasty, fresh, big portion... You wont regret it. This place is a hidden gem in KW. They opened about 2 months ago, so not a lot of people know about it.
We were curious to try Peruvian food and we were not disappointed! Great food, great daily specials, and great service. Excited to come back here again.
My friend and I tried La Crema for our weekly lunch and were thoroughly impressed with the food and the friendly service. I will definitely go back and have recommended it to another friend.
Very late! When we arrived there was no one. I managed to wait, finished my plate and they never brought the other peoples food. They brought an order that my was from us. And one of our dishes was ready, but they never gave it away. We asked for the bill because we werent going to wait mad. Bad customer service
Very bad customer service, only one dish arrived and we waited more than 45 minutes after I saw my dish in the box and the Waitress didnt let it be delivered on 3 occasions because she didnt even know which table it was for.
The best peruvian food in kitchener
Great food, reasonable prices, great service friendly staff will be back.
First generation Canadian - my family is Peruvian and I grew up eating everything on the menu. I moved here 5 years ago and when I say I cried when I ate here I mean it. I felt right at home again. So happy this place opened it. Quick service, friendly staff, good prices and delicious authentic plates! 10/10 recommend We had the jalea and chaufa but I will def be going back to try breakfast next!
Peruvian food made with great care and quality. Recommended
Great authentic food. 3-dish combo is not on the menu but is a must try
Great little Peruvian restaurant! Good food, good service. Will definitely be back again.
Finally a Peruvian restaurant in the area. Food and service are both great!
Good food but overpriced
Very good good food, well presented and delicious!
They are friendly & polite. The food is delicious, an the prices are affordable, the food portions are favourable to the customer, an they are overflowing with succulent flavours that have you reaching for another bite before youve even had time to finish your last forkful. I cannot wait to go back for lunch. 10/10

Is good restaurant
Good food, many choices. Good customer service
Very good! I recommend a varied and delicious menu, very good prices and the portions are large.
This place serves amasing food and has great staff Highly Recomend!
Very good, the chicha morada was delicious, and the fries were just right, being Peruvian, I loved them in my opinion, the grilled chicken was delicious and tender.
Very good chicken recommended
The three dishes I tried were delicious, for being the first time Ive tried Peruvian-style seafood, very pleasant. For starters I ordered Fried Yuca, it is a very simple dish but the dressing and finish of the yucca makes it taste delicious. Seafood Ceviche Very good combination of shrimp, fish, tripe and octopus, accompanied by sweet potato and cooked corn kernels that accompany it quite well, perhaps I would remove the toasted corn kernels that they put in it but it is easy to separate them if you dont like them. Rice with Seafood A fairly generous portion that I even had enough to take away, it has enough seafood and the flavor is very good. The two details in the place are that they have certain dishes that are not on the menu and that they only serve on weekends, they should announce them or at least the waiter or waitress should comment on them. The last but not least, if you go you must be patient since they prepare the food at the moment and you can wait a while to receive your order, but you can wait with a beer. Beef heart and yuca frites with the creamy spicy sauce were excellent! Our waiter didn t speak English but luckily we had people in our group speaking Spanish. The lady there (not sure if it was the owner) was very patient with our questions and brought us two rounds of small plates to share different things we ordered
Loved the ceviche and anticucho!! So good!
The place is small and cozy positive point the food is very good negative point you have to wait a long time to be served and the food takes forever....
