This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a buffet in years! I enjoyed everything from the wonderful display and assortment of food to the friendly service and even a check in visit from the manager! Will definitely come back! May even bring the kids! Sayyad was our server and was on top of everything even though it was so busy and multiple birthdays he stayed positive and so friendly!

I can't say enough great things about this place. The food is absolutely amazing, so much sounded fantastic that I had a hard time choosing. When the food arrived, everyone in my family was thoroughly impressed. They have won awards for good reason! The service was also top rate and the owners were very helpful and friendly. It was my first time there, but it was evident that there are many repeat customers. Out of the five tables that finished their meals and left the restaurant while we were there. Highly recommended. I will be back, hopefully soon, to try all the things I couldn't the first time around!!
Lee and Michael rendered exceptional service to us when we got there. They were very approachable and made sure we were comfortable, with smiley faces. The food was superb, I got value for my money.
Probably the best Mandarin I've been to! Despite it being a busy Thanksgiving Weekend, I had a pleasant experience! The place was sufficiently staffed and was clearly running well. Staff were very friendly and attentive - shoutout to my servers Lee, Paulo and Mike. My water glass was never empty and my plates were cleared very efficiently. Food options was always available, I think only the mashed potatoes for the Turkey dinner was unavailable once, but the tray was freshly refilled when I came back after finishing a plate. The chicken gyoza was probably my favourite dish from the day, but the rest of the food was delicious, and didn't taste old at all. The buffet edges were all always clean every time I did a round. There's not a lot of natural lighting inside so it may feel slightly claustrophobic if you're not good with crowds, but the place is well lit and the floors are clean. Finally, not a food related observation, but the koi ponds at the front also looked clean and the fish well cared for. Great place for a two person date or big family gathering.
Our server was the bestI have encountered, Mr Jack went beyond helping me and recommending many good things like telling which foods were the specials, he is a testament to the good of Mandarin, the atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel at home and not much to complain on, good food and service, +. For warm towels too,also don’t bring jeans, you’ll need to stretch the pants haha, parking was very easy since there was lots of spots, wheelchairs won’t have a hard time getting in either, food was very fresh aswell.. this has been my favorite spot for awhile and each visit is always the same, so I can proudly post that this place is of quality
Pineapple in every dish was inedible and mostly the core, most shrimp were overcooked but the prime rib and wonton soup were absolutely fantastic. Awesome deserts! Servers were great but the staff at the front could be heard from the furthest dining room. Not as good as other locations but a decent restaurant.
Plenty more food options. Their drink menu remains looking 💣. I’ve been here a few times throughout my years and plenty of take-out as well. I think inside is very nice with the live fish, ceilings that look like the sky, and pretty pink flowers. I can’t begin to praise their service enough every single time they are phenomenal!! So personal and friendly and fun, even if you’re not sociable. If anyone deserves a nice tip it’s the staff here. The owner seems very kind. I wish some customers had more respect it’s not a daycare letting their kids run around the eating area I’ve seen people almost drop plates of food because of this. Also some people go out to have a break from dealing with kids soo yeah I don’t want them running into my table or sitting in my seat sorry not sorry. I literally had a shrimp shell flung into my meal.

We dont do all you can eat a whole lot but this place was really good! Clean and everything was warm and tasty. They also had ham and roast beef and I dont recall seeing that before. The bathroom need a little update but I wasnt there for that. I washed my hands before my meal but they provide warm lemony towels to start...and to finish! Probably to help not spread germs. Great idea. I have been to other Mandarins, and they didnt give one before and after, like here! The wait staff were so nice. They were really busy with what looked like Christmas party tables but they were attentive. We had Jack waiting on us. Very nice guy! My husband is really picky about getting refill drinks and they were always filled.

Why dont we get more food when ordering online for delivery...when the buffet you eat all you can for a couple dollars more. I think whatever we order we should get 2 containers of each. This should be considered if its similar in price and less dishes cause we order out. What makes these things different

The server was very rude he denied to take even the picture of me and my partner together it was very bad act.
I love it at the Mandarin Restaurant. The food is all your favorites and more. The waiters are very kind and right on the ball servicing us. If there are too many people with children in your room, its hard to get a relaxed mood going. I think it would be wise if they had one large family room and the other rooms for us who are free of kids now. Yay!! LoL !!

Imagine showing up with a family party of more than 20 people and from the moment you walk in you are reminded of your seating time limit? Couple this offputting vibe with a generally dark and dingy atmosphere and you get King St kitchener mandarin. We have been going to mandarin for DECADES and this one is by far the worst. The food was low quality and the serving team, though friendly, never managed to refill our drinks unless we specifically waved them down. Definitely would avoid going back to this location.

From the moment we walked in, they made us feel so welcome and attended to every detail with professionalism and care. The team was not only efficient but also very friendly and approachable, ensuring our table was always clean, our drinks refilled, and that we were enjoying our meal. They also took the time to check in without being intrusive, which really added a personal touch to our evening. The food, as always, was fresh, delicious, and plentiful, but the exceptional service made the meal even more enjoyable. Its rare to find such a hardworking and attentive team these days. We enjoyed our meal at the Mandarin. All the food was delicious. Said, Sarah and Coco were our servers - they were pleasant and made our stay enjoyable. I could see that they were efficient and thoughtful in the job. Parking: Turn over in people is pretty fast- I didnt have a problem finding a space at 6 pm on Saturday. Kid-friendliness: There is so many options to eat that any kid would be happy

We had made reservations in advance, so despite the very crowded atmosphere, we were very impressed at how well our server, Mike, was able to accommodate us all. Even with our last minute request to acknowledge my granddaughters 7th birthday, he was so pleasant and helpful and went out of his way to help us out in any way he could. We couldnt have asked for a better attendant to make this evening a very pleasant experience! Thank you, Mike.

Im a sucker for good Chinese food so this is a bit biased. All the dishes are always fresh and the cost is good when you can plate whatever you want and as much as you want. Top tier buffet. Plus, my kids love the koi pond.

Aside from the food, I love the mocktails and the service Raymond was my server but there was also Paul whom served my table occasionally. Both Raymond and Paul had outstanding service, always friendly, smiling, humorous, fast, and I wish them all the best Edit: I came here again for my cousins birthday. Very good food again as usual, I also saw Raymond again. I had another server named Jack and he was incredible. Hes the nicest and friendliest person ever Here is what I ate: 0. Drinks water, choco banana monkey mocktail, blueberry lychee fizz 1. Snack croissant (buttered) 2. Soup wonton soup 3. Appetizer chicken dumplings w dumpling sauce 4. Vegetable dish roasted potato, dried garlic green beans, wok fried broccoli & mushroom & corn 5. Seafood dish baked teriyaki salmon, seafood medley, mussel in black bean sauce, breaded torpedo shrimp, salt & pepper shrimp, golden fried fish fillet, teppanyaki fish fillet 6. Meat dish BBQ ribs 7. I recently visited the Mandarin All-You-Can-Eat Buffet, and it was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The variety and quality of the food truly stood out, along with their excellent customer service. I had the pleasure of trying several dishes, and each one exceeded my expectations: Fried Calamari: Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Tempura Shrimp & Garlic Shrimp: Both were highlights, with a light, crunchy coating on the tempura shrimp and a rich, garlicky burst in the garlic shrimp. Grilled Steak & Sausage: Juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Fried Rice & Shrimp Cake: Classic comfort dishes with great textures and flavors. Ribs: Tender, smoky, and fall-off-the-bone delicious. Asparagus: A nice, fresh accompaniment to the heavier dishes. Dessert - NY Cheesecake: Creamy and indulgent, a perfect way to end the meal. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was outstanding. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates and refill drinks, making the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Have not ever been to this particular Mandarin restaurant. Right from the moment we got there, it was a class A experience. We were greeted by a young lady who directed us where to sit. Everyone looking after the comfort of the patrons was excellent. There was plenty of food and really hot.

Been nearly 20 years since Ive been to a Mandarin, and was plesently surprised. The food was delicious and well Seasoned for the most part. Meats were tender and well cooked, veggies bright and crispy. Desert was mediocre, some of the items were still frozen. But, I didnt go there for dessert Our server, Lan, was amazing. I had forgotten what good service was like, but she delivered.

Daniel and Sayyed were wonderful servers. The food was very fresh and the bread pudding was SO good. Will definitely be back!
