We absolutely love odd duck and are consistently blown away every visit with the careful and creative dishes and flavour combinations. Personable service and the unique cocktail and wine list will keep us coming back again and again.

Stopped by a while back to pay Wes a visit and also pick up some wine! Great selection of wines that I have never seen before and Wes had great recommendations. If your in the area stop by the staff is 10/10!

To paraphrase a review of one of my favourite restaurants.... the Quality Chop House in London UK... Hear me now, do not make the mistake of dying before dining at the Odd Duck. Where to start? The flavours are masterfully matched in the dishes. The wine pairings are superb. We have eaten here 5 times and each time they have consistently knocked out of the park. Since the menu changes so frequently, it is pointless to refer to specific dishes but we will always get the mushroom plate and the pasta dish. They will come, beautifully plated with a combination of flavours that you might not have put together, oyster mushrooms with spicy kimchi, popcorn atop rigatoni but the result is uniformly spectacular. And dont forget to let them pair your wines. We chose 3 3oz pours to complement 8 dishes and both the wines and the pairings were marvelous. If, like me, one of your criteria for a restaurant is that they serve food you cant make yourself, then hurry on over, this place is for you.

The first thing I noticed was the decor, the resin wood tables as beautiful and bold. It appropriately set my expectations for the meal. We ordered the tasting menu, and all of the food was excellent. I would best describe the experience as fine dining, but more normal. Larger portions, fewer plates. More familiar flavours but with stylish and creative presentation and form. The quality and creativity are far above the standard in KW. I also loved that they are tip free; it makes the service feel even more authentic.

It was a few months ago that I went but it was a wonderful experience. The place was clean and calm but the best was the server. They were really warm and made us feel relaxed. The wine was unreal and we really loved the mushroom dish. It s worth coming here for a unique experience!

Incredible flavours and cocktail matching. Their fair wage program made paying easy. The interior was chic and the location was easy to get to. We had tickets at Centre in the Square and they made sure to push through the dishes to meet our timeline. We had amazing service and will definitely be back.

Amazing cocktails, amazing food and amazing staff! Id recommend asking for the coffee daiquiri. Its not on the menu but its one of my favourite cocktails all time! Vegetarian options: There are a few vegan dishes on the menu. Dietary restrictions: There are a few gluten-free options on the menu.

Our favourite place for a great dinner out in K-W. I always leave being wowed by how Jon and co. come up with new and creative takes on vegetable dishes and months later my partner and I find ourselves saying Hey do you remember the ... at Odd Duck?. Wes and the bar/server folks do a great job pairing wines and cocktails and we feel like were among friends. We recently tried the curated Trust Us dinner and would do again. I wish I worked nearby to make it for lunch. Awesome to see Odd Duck evolving from the kitchen at Hurst Ave. and I look forward to our next visit.

We went as four people with very different tastes and food preferences and we all LOVED it. We decided to let them choose our meal and every course was a delight. The service was warm and friendly. We went here for my birthday this year, and Ill probably go here for my birthday every year now. This is the best restaurant Ive been to in Waterloo Region. I think the pasta dish I had is possibly the best food Ive ever eaten. I also liked the fancy/casual atmosphere, and loved the living wage pay structure. A great combo of food, atmosphere, and staff. The odd duck is truely one of Kitcheners best culinary experiences and hidden gems! The venue is quaint and intimate; offering an especially warm and inviting space. The staff are absolutely fantastic at what they do, and beyond that, they are genuinely amazing people! Wes and Emma are always on top of their game, offering great suggestions and creating fantastic pairings of wine & cocktails/ mocktails alike. Upon reading the description of a dish, you may think you know what to expect from the dish itself, but Id bet the plate will excite and delight as well as surprise the palate. I highly recommend trying a few plates with friends as the menu changes often and my biggest regret is missing out on tasting one of their delicacies before its gone!! A must try!!! Wes and the team know how to provide diners with a wonderful experience. We went to the Odd Duck for a date night, and had a really lovely time. The food was so good. We started our meal with oysters which tasted like they were pulled from the ocean that day. Our veggie dishes were tasty, generous and respected each ingredient. The hen was magical and the smashed potatoes were next level. We could have ordered 10 more plates of the pasta dish in its heavenly brown butter sauce. If you re looking for folks who will provide a great meal in a down-to-earth environment, you ll want to try the Odd Duck. Even the art around the restaurant is interesting and thoughtfully chosen. Thanks to Wes and the team for a great evening out!

First time there, party of 4, ordered 6 small plates and drinks all around. Ordered a hard liquor and the waitress brought it without ice and never asked how I wanted it. The vege plates were plentiful and creatively good. The best part of the meal. The pasta was awful, heavy sauce, very small portion and included plain popcorn, not well thought out. Ordered a 6 oz pour of wine, it was maybe 4 oz and cost $26. Tasted like the bottle had been open a couple of days. Tuna was 5 small sections, Duck was 6 small pieces and both had a watery tasteless sauce. Very over priced and not memorable. Will not be going back.

If you are looking for a unique taste overall and doesnt really care about the portion and price, then this restaurant might suit your desire. as a person who looks for overall taste, portion size, and price, this place was not for me and wont likely return(despite no tip(due to no tipping policy), the price came out as 250 dollars for 5 small dishes and 5 drinks) we were not even full after having 5 dishes. No judgement on the restaurant but wanted all visitors to know what they should expect.

The Odd Duck is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates delicious food and wonderful service! Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ended up being seated at the Chefs Table which was an unique experience and was an added bonus to our evening of birthday celebrations. We shared 3 plates between the two of us (the Tomato plate, Terrine plate and the Quail plate). All 3 had such wonderful textures and flavours and were very much enjoyed by the both of us. The wine pairing for the quail was perfect. With a menu that changes seasonally, I can t wait to return and see what they ll cook up next! It was also great to stop and speak with the kitchen staff while leaving to express how grateful we were for the wonderful food and evening.

My husband and I had a great meal at Odd Duck. The food was incredible and the plating was sophisticated. They are meant to be shareable plates, however, the portion sizes were large enough that we both left feeling satisfied. They were also able to meet my dietary restrictions without any concerns. Our server Sam was very knowledgeable about the food and made wine pairing suggestions for us, which were also amazing. We will definitely be back to this great local establishment. This might be the best place in all of Kitchener-Waterloo. The staff are awesome, the food is exceptional, and the prices are cheap for the quality you get. Will be returning again and again.

I went to Odd Duck with a girlfriend for dinner and drinks, all around it was a fantastic experience. We shared 3 dishes, all were delicious and we couldn t get over how beautiful the plating was. The flavours were phenomenal and dishes were very unique. The cocktail and wine menu had a good variety of options to choose from and they all looked tasty. We stuck to cocktails this time but will be back for more food with wine pairings! Lastly, the service was outstanding. Our server very friendly and helpful with the menu, all the staff were very nice and fun to chat with.

What a treat! We cant believe we hadnt been here yet. The service was incredible from the minute we arrived. The wine pairings were perfection and such unique options including a wine from Austria. The cheese cart pairing with cherry magic was divine. We joked that I wanted a spoon to lick up the sauces because the flavours were so perfect! Come because of the welcome atmosphere and inclusivity and stay for the insane food. We will be back!!!

An amazing experience hands down!!! Staff were super friendly and kind. The seating was great, and I was in and out of the place in maybe 30 minutes. (Finishing two dishes and a cocktail) Personally I never had beef tartar before, thought it was gonna be nasty but holy hell was it ever delicious. And the mashed potatoes were just mmmm. Also the jungle duck cocktail was a super nice treat. Best part of the experience honestly was not having to be prompted for a tip!! Prices on the menu were extremely fair given how amazing all the food tasted! Great for a special night out or a treat. Will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: Some excellent veggie choices!

One of the worst dining experiences ever. The server asked if were sharing food, he said their dishes are meant to be shared, but look at the portion... and they said the ravioli is a reversed version, that its very juicy... nope, I dont taste any different from those I had before. Ribs, very dry, not much taste, small portion; carrots and mushroom, taste good but expected, small portion, pricy; oysters, too small, pricy. I mean, its okay to be pricy, but with this tiny portion, at least make it up with some really innovative flavours, but nope, I can basically make most food much better myself (and I dont even cook a lot). In conclusion, very pretentious, most work done on the surface, nothing special except especially expensive, overly charged, mostly, feel like I got scammed. Oh, and they said they dont charge tips, as if its very noble of them...

The food is amazing! Perfectly prepared, creative flavours and the seasoning on every dish was spot on. This is food you cant wait to swallow so you can have another bite! The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The wine sourcing and pairings are also excellent. They do a lot of things different from traditional restaurants but the results are all for the better.

Go for drinks. Only drinks. They re expensive but that s fine and to be expected for something above your dive bar buck a beer type place. The food though NOT worth it. It tastes good, but they claim each plate to be shareable when the entrees are in fact an appetizer for a child at best. You ll pay about $30-$40 for these meals so that they (as you ll be told in the opening speech) can pay their staff a livable wage without tipping. So at least there s that.

Excellent food, service and ambience. The menu changes at least a couple of times a week so we are already anticipating another visit soon as were curious about what other splendid concoctions they will come up with. With each item on the menu there are suggested wine pairings but we dont like alcohol. So the bartender/mixologist created a couple of non-alcoholic pairings for our sturgeon and duck dishes. The drinks were very creative and perfectly complemented our shared dishes. We will come back for the drinks alone. We ordered four dishes for two people with average appetites - two vegetables (vegetable dishes tend to be smaller) and two meat dishes. The vegetable dishes appeared small in portion but they packed a huge taste. Everything about our experience was top notch, unique, and creative. The staff was friendly without being obtrusive. Sam was our server and she was absolutely delightful - not because she just knew the Odd Duck offerings but because she was so proud of, and excited about, being part of the Odd Duck team. Odd Duck feels like a team effort amongst the entire staff and the folks there all feel a sense of ownership and equality and respect amongst one another. If you want to understand just how unique Odd Duck is, check out their website and read their Code of Conduct. If every restaurant functioned like Odd Duck, they would thrive and do well, and serve their customers and staff well. Theres only one thing I wish was better - the chairs. I have a delicate derriere so sitting on a wood chair for a couple of hours was painful. They probably had cushions somewhere, had I asked, but who wants to admit that they have a bony behind?

In terms of interesting dishes and a cool atmosphere, I think this tops the list in KW. Heavy wine focus, but even for a non-wine drinker it was excellent.

We went to Odd Duck to celebrate a birthday and a new job. We hadnt had a chance to go since they opened and we were not disappointed. Simply one of the best meals weve had in KW in a long time. The duck and mushroom pate in particular was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere and vibe was amazing. We love what they did with the units. The lighting and tables were fantastic. The service was great! We went on a quiet Tuesday but the staff was prompt, informative of our choices (including recommending an excellent bottle of wine), and friendly. The prices on the menu stick out on first glance, but as a no-tip establishment, it ended up being less than we wouldve spent at some other places once everything was all rolled in. We will absolutely go again.

I had high expectations coming in and they were still exceeded. This is the best meal Ive had in K-W, bar none. Good to know they are a Living Wage employer and that people working there are being paid their worth.

We were a table of eight to celebrate my husband s 70th birthday. Wes and the whole crew made us feel very welcome. We had every item on the food menu! The dishes were served three at a time so that everyone at the table got to savour a taste. It was like a tasting menu. We started with the imaginative cocktails. Wes selected a white to pair with the first plates and everyone got a splash. Then the mains got a red wine. We felt feted. Thank you Odd Duck!

Our first time visiting this great little place. We live downtown and finally got a chance for a relaxing night out so a quick walk to this place and we were amazed. Its very unassuming from the outside. But inside its tasteful decor and amazing staff make you feel like youre going to have a great dinner before you even sit at the table. The food was amazing. Wes was fantastic at explaining everything. For once, I feel like I got a meal where the portions were appropriately sized and for the money the food was right up there in terms of quality with any fine dining in the region. Compliments to everyone there. We will be back!!

My partner and I went to odd duck for the first time on Valentines day. We had been highly recommended by family, and it stood up to the reputation! Our server Samm was lovely and attentive, and despite it being such a busy evening the food came quickly and consistently. They had a special menu for Valentines day which was super fun and made the dinner into an experience. Definitely affordable for the quality; every dish was a flavour combination I never tasted before. Will definitely be coming back here :)

The odd duck offers more than just food. Its a whole experience. We ordered 4 plates between two people; the beef prime rib, the carrots, the leek and the pasta option. All of them were amazing. I was going to attempt to describe it but Im really struggling I can only say the food was amazing. The staff was excellent they were incredibly attentive, to the point where the server knows you by name based on the time you arrive. They mixed drinks they served as well were fantastic. I ordered the some like it hot bourbon based drink and the Some romantic name gin based drink. Both were amazing and were incredibly high quality. Something to call out, its pretty expensive. But youre paying for an experience on top of premium food and service. Another callout - They pay their service staff a livable wage so theres no tipping culture here. Which I think is admirable.

This place is incredible. I can t say enough about the staff. EVEYONE was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food and drinks were very delicious, innovative and well plated. was at third moon brewery for a drink and food collab. had the beef tartare, squash soup, and pomelo salad. the food was absolutely delicious, so flavourful and you could tell how fresh the ingredients were! got to talk to one of the owners and he clearly had a love for the food. would highly recommend!

I love the food at Odd Duck - my favourite last weekend was the Risotto, we ordered and reordered the shrimp, tried just about everything with pleasure. My. Gawd. What an exceptional experience. We put ourselves in the hands of Chef Jon Rennie and Wes Klassen and we couldnt be happier that we did. It was two couples for dinner and we asked for 3 plates each to share (which turned into 4) and they varied up everything so we got to taste almost the whole menu. Incredible. The service was fluid, friendly, attentive and educational. And the FOOD! The food was perfection...I mean, perfection. Treat yourself and get the wine pairings if you can swing it -- it made for such an amazing meal. And dont skip the dessert! Vegetarian options: Half the menu is vegetarian. Wheelchair accessibility: They worked with a disability consultant to ensure that their washrooms are designed specifically with accessibility at the centre. So considerate.

Yum! Every dish we tried was carefully prepared, full of flavour and beautifully presented. It s hard to pick a favourite, but the lentils, lamb and tuna were high on everyone s list in our group of four. The cheese cart (ding ding) was the perfect end to our meal. Thrilled to have a gem like this DTK. Their company values, no-tipping policy and overall vibe are a welcome change. We look forward to our next visit!

We took our parents out for dinner last night at odd duck, wine and provisions. What a fabulous new place in DTK! We shared 8 different savory sharing plates and three desserts, plus cocktails for Sissy and I and two different kinds of wine for the rents. Every single dish hit it out of the park. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. There was not a miss in the bunch! Cocktails were delicious and the wine offerings were unique and adventuresome. Now for the staff---again, fabulous. From Lexi at the door, to our server, plus the wonderful woman who delivered the food, and actually any staff member we came across--every one of them were welcoming and enthusiastic. Our server knew her stuff about both the food and the wine, so much so that we allowed her to steer our menu choices and my father asked her to surprise him and choose his next glass of wine without him consulting the wine list. He really enjoyed her selection. The entire evening was a great experience, and well definitely be returning. Just go! Vegetarian options: There were several dishes to choose from that were vegetarian, we had three of them and they were outstanding. Dietary restrictions: They ask ahead of time about any dietary restrictions so they can accommodate.

What an amazing addition to DTK! Every dish was amazing and we really loved the wine, beer and cocktail selection. The cheese cart is a fun addition. Will certainly be back to try their new creations! Thanks for having us!

Nice place. Friendly staff. Food was lacking. Very small food portion. Ok atmosphere. Paid 40$ for a small piece of tardot fish (which they got my order wrong so I had to wait for it to be made while the rest of the table ate). Very fishy tasting an no sides. Sauces they served with it tasted earthy. Ever Changing menu. I had no chicken or game bird choices. Which is weird for a place called. The odd duck. Gave it a try.

I have had my eyes on this place for some time now and decided to try it with my boyfriend. Food was delicious, we got gnocchi, lamb and beef, and chocolate cake as dessert. Service was great (it was nice to see everyone works as a team, and they changed our plates and cutlery between dishes). They have unique drinks too. We were not sure about the parking arrangement as the parking lot next door says private parking for xxx . I would definitely return to try more dishes

The odd duck is a very wonderful up and coming restaurant. The menu is ever changing so every time you go will be a different experience. Very eclectic-industrial vibes. They are a living wage employer (!!!!EXTRA POINTS). Everyone was so friendly and the food was excellent.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! We were incredibly well taken care of from the moment we walked in. It was noticeable that the service was catered to our behaviours at our table, making sure they were there when we needed them and giving us space when we still needed time. Every dish was carefully crafted, and better than I thought that food could even be. Visiting here should be on everyone s bucket list, truly a unique and forever memorable experience. Vegetarian options: Nearly half the menu is vegetarian, none of which felt in any way like a restricted dish. Every option was a highlight of its own. Dietary restrictions: Upon booking, asked about any restriction in the party, and had a wide range of options appropriate for any restrictions

We splurged last night and the four of us shared 7 entrees, all but two of them being vegan. It was soooo delicious. My friend best summarized it as a journey for the taste buds and was it ever. The (since retired for the season after yesterday) pave was to die for, as was the tomato dish, eggplant dish It was amazing. And for dessert I enjoyed the Cheese cart which is a culinary adventure AND educational experience worth witnessing. What is also pretty crazy is that there are NO tips and everyone there makes a Living wage. I got the impression that everyone really like each other and have each other s backs.

Everything about this place is special. The brainchild of Wes and John, Odd Ducks opening menu of small to medium plates is built around a skillfully curated selection of wines, many low intervention, organic or local. Opening cocktails and local, craft beers were enjoyed in a no-rush setting as we pondered our dinner options. Designed for sharing, our group of 6 ate our way through about 2/3s of the offerings. Vegetables (the brassica dish and the mushroom dish were standouts), polenta, duck, fish (tuna, salmon, shellfish) were all delicious. A couple desserts and a small cheese table rounded out the evening. Aside from the food, Odd Ducks collaborative work environment is unique. The staffs own expereince has influenced the menu. And everyone pitches in on the serving; no obvious hierarchy. Its clear staff are treated differently here than in most restaurants. A small footnote on the menu reminds patrons that this is a no gratuity restaurant. Staff are compensated above the Regions living wage. This place cares as much about their team as they do about the food and drink. Give Odd Duck a try. You wont be disappointed. Vegetarian options: A good portion of the menu contained options for those of us that do not eat meat. Dietary restrictions: Staff went through each item on the menu to ensure our dietary restrictions were met. Modifications to menu items were offered withour hesitation. Parking: Large municipal lot across the street at the old bus station. Free after 5pm.

A lovely addition to the KW restaurant scene. Inventive, interesting and warm. Our table ordered 6 dishes: salmon plus 5 veg based. Each one was unique and super flavourful. The wines are exceptional. Oh yes and the kitchen made a vegan surprise dessert, fruit sorbet and sour cherries, and it was divine. Perfect place for a celebration or date night. We look forward to returning.

An absolute MUST to try this next time you are looking for an amazing dining experience. We were very excited to try their new location, as we have been to their pop-up location last fall a few times. Expectations were exceeded to say the least. The food and wine pairings are a great way to elevate the experience, and I cant state enough how delectable their pairings are. Their servers/service are amazing, so friendly, easy going, and watchful to ensure dishes were coming out at a good pace, and staying on top of pairings. The atmosphere is so inviting and electric while being comfortable. The space and layout is visually aesthetic with curated décor. Its obvious that its a well thought out space. They also have amazing craft beer and cider offerings, as well as unforgettable daily cocktails. We got most items on the menu as a group of three, and also got the cheese tasting for desert. Their food is out of this world, and often hard to put into words what they accomplish on every single dish crafted and served. This is such a unique and rare spot, congratulations on your opening and successes so far - looking forward to our next visit!

This is a gem of KW! Food is legitimately good and the wine selection blows you out of the park. If youre looking for an legitimately good wine list, amazing food, and down to earth ambience, this is the place to go. We had an amazing date night here, and will definitely return over and over again. Vegetarian options: Excellent, fresh and hearty veggie options.

This is the closest place we have to a Michelin star in kw. The service is excellent, the food is beautifully cooked. Do not pass up the cheese cart, ding ding! You do have to understand this is true fine dining - it s not the Keg, you re not getting a side of beef, a heap of mashed potatoes and a stack of steamed veg. The portions are small/medium so that you can try several dishes in a seating and really enjoy the creativity of the chefs.

Top notch. We ate nearly everything on the menu and enjoyed it all. Looking forward to going back again soon! A great addition to DTK and a gem for the community.

This is the best food, service, mixed drinks and wine pairing, and experience I ve had. Ever. Thank you Wes and team. Everything is locally sourced, the menu is updated often is a great way, my food allergy was accounted for and they will accommodate all allergies including celiac. My previous favourite restaurant was in Europe. We re luck to have world class dining in the Kitchener Waterloo area. Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate all dietary restrictions. Parking: I parked across the street in the municipal parking lot.

One of the most unique spots in KW

I love dining. Starting with ingredients from local farms and businesses and a slew of incredible food and beverage staff, the people at odd duck make magic happen in the kitchen and behind the bar. Every dish is sensational. I also love knowing what Im paying and not having to stress about a tip at the end. Somehow the meal finishes on a much more enjoyable note when you dont have that bit of stress at the end! So worth it!!!

Inventive and playful fine dining food in a relaxed setting. The plates are great for sharing, but I just ate alone and enjoyed the whole thing myself! Odd Duck is very local/seasonal focused and its menu constantly changes to reflect this. They are also tip free and pay a living wage to all employees which I love. I started the night with the Autumn Hash made of parsnip mash with brussels sprouts, radish, parsnip chips, fingerling potatoes and blood orange. The later was surprising but added a great citrus pop that brought the whole dish together perfectly. It was my favorite of the night. Next was the rabbit 2 ways with fondant potatoes, smoked vegetables and blackberry reduction was good for the most part but the potatoes were a bit undercooked. The smoke veg against the blackberry reduction was great. Beef shank terrine is not something I would normally order but I was so intrigued by guava beer caramel that I had to try it! The terrine was a bit dense, but the guava beer (it was honestly more of a sauce than a caramel) was a revelation and i found myself just going back to it again and again scraping the plate to get every last drop. The Layers dessert was huge...perhaps to big! I was glad for the generosity but the thickness of some layers made it hard to get all of them in one bite. The top layer of miso brown butter mousse was the best thing I tasted all night. The orange gelee below was a bit too thick and marmaladey and sadly overpowered the above mousse. The white chocolate and brownie layers below were wonderfully decadent. The Orange and Cardamom sorbet packed the perfect punch and was a refreshing offset. I am not much of a drinker and was happy to see them include a low and no alcohol cocktail list. Casa Pinatas Tepache was a fun discovery. It is fermented pineapple juice much like a kombucha with cloves and cadamom which reminded me a lot of mulled wine. I loved it. All and all I loved my experience at Odd Duck. While there were some missteps the chefs are obviously exploring and trying new things and that is what I absolutely love. Odd Duck wont be for everyone, but if you love adventurous seasonal cuisine this is the perfect place to find it. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegetable focused dishes. Parking: Free parking after 5pm directly across the road.

We had a date night last night at Odd Duck and Wow! I think it was the best meal Ive ever had. Every single bite burst with flavor and everything was cooked to perfection. We have never spent so much time talking about the food we were eating and we were still talking about it when we got home. We shared Autumn Hash, Roots, Lox, Beef and the Cake . But it wasnt just the food that blew us away, it was also the service. Samm was funny, personable, knowledgable and charismatic. He elevated the whole experience. To top it off, we had the pleasure of meeting Wes ( part owner). He is clearly passionate and it shows in all the little details at Odd Duck. This is the place that KW has needed!! Cant wait to return.

We had our first experience with odd duck | wine & provisions on Saturday for a staff holiday dinner celebration and it was truly an amazing experience in every way! The food was incredible and the wine was delightful! I usually play it safe and order the same things when I go to a restaurant, but there was something about the whole ambience and menu here that allowed us to really explore a variety of items from the menu! Needless to say, everything was incredible! Wes, Jon and the staff at odd duck were all amazing hosts to us. We enjoyed hearing the story of odd duck, and absolutely love their philosophy and business model. I have never had a culinary experience like this before. The flavours in each dish were incredible and pairings were spot on! I don t want to give it all away, you should really just check it out and find out for yourself! You will not be disappointed! Unique food combinations, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. I m not often surprised by flavour combos but there were some real bops and some fun attempts. A leap away from standard fare. I also love the idea of a changing menu, especially when done with dietary restrictions in mind. Thoughtful food, a real joy. Edit: I ve been back countless times since they ve officially opened and I m still enjoying every bite. I spoke with a friend tonight at dinner and she said I should add this quote from our conversation: You know how much I love going out to eat and I hate feeling disappointed with food. And you know what, I m never disappointed when I m eating here. It s always good. Everyone who s come with me has been impressed by the quality and variety of flavours. You know the food is really good when the conversation revolves around how things have been tasting. It s definitely a treat, but it s well worth it. Wonderful service, food, and variety. Amazing dinner here! It was still warm out so we asked to be seated outside, no problem! The table was set up beautifully with cushions and a blanket on the bench seat. We shared the potatoes, chicken and risotto perfect portions and so delicious!! We had room for dessert, no sharing though! Cardamom Crème caramel with sponge toffee and a fresh strawberry and citrus sauce was a taste sensation! We will definitely be back. Lovely service, atmosphere and food. You have yo come here!!!!!!

I had to leave a review because this was one of the loveliest, well-curated dining experiences we have had in a long time. We felt so fortunate to meet Wes and John and learn what Odd Duck means to them. Every bite was perfectly executed and yet unpretentious. KW is lucky to have them!

Wonderful dining experience! Currently the Odd Duck is operating out of a shared kitchen, but I found the rustic warehouse vibe to be quite charming with a great view of the action in the kitchen. Seating is limited and intimate, a great date night! Service was excellent and I really appreciated that our server wore a mask. The dishes are smaller shared plates using a lot of local ingredients and everything we ordered looked and tasted great! The duck confit and pork belly were our standouts of the night. We were told the menu changes every week or two so something new to look forward to next time. Cant wait to be back!
