Worst food, service and atmosphere in the region. They allow people to smoke in there and the restaurant looks nothing like the pictures.

Great food with wonderful service

My visit to this place was an amazing experience. The staff is friendly and can cater if you need to modify few dishes. We tried their Shakshuka, Pizza, chicken fajita and pasta. Shakshuka no doubt tops the list in terms of taste and preparation. Ultimate combination of tomato and eggs. Pizza and fajitas were also great, pasta was little too bland with no such veggies, mushrooms or chicken in it.

Atmosphere is unexpected, very bright, which is unusual for ethiopian restaurants in my experience. Ethiopian dishes we tried were good, and the pizza was fantastic, honestly some of the best pizza around in kitchener. Will definitely be back for breakfast to try coffee and shakshuka.

Ordered veggie enjera meal and beef chacha. The beef was chewy and over cooked. The veg meal tasted way better. Vegetarian options: All the veg dishes tasted really good

My visit to Rades was my first experience with Eithiopian food. The food was very tasty albeit a bit spicy for my taste because Im not accustomed to it. But my table mates loved it! Be prepared to eat with your hands, its how its done! There was a loaf of bread offered on the side that was amazing, one of the best Ive ever tried. After dinner we had coffee similar to espresso made with freshly roasted beans. Even though it was strong, it was smooth and not bitter. I loved the atmosphere inside, very charming! The owner/host was a lovely, welcoming man who made our dinner very memorable and informative. It was an enjoyable evening and I highly recommend a visit.

First time in Kitchener and had some time to kill and stumbled on to Rade s. Very friendly service. Ordered a margherita pizza and a coffee and both were delivered quickly and tasted great. Will return if I m back in Kitchener.

The service was very bizarre. I couldn t put my finger on what the lady was ever saying and felt intrusive when she would pull up a chair and sit with my friend and I - I couldn t squeeze a word in Regarding the food, I felt a tad nauseous afterwards. I was also confused by the menu having pizzas, middle eastern food I wouldn t suggest it. Maybe it was a bad night but I am inclined to avoid revisiting it :(

Great service and food, unique healthy bread

Been to this place twice now. Super relaxed vibe and I got the habesha coffee. The guy serving me explained the whole process and ritual behind the habesha coffee and it was great. Strongest coffee Ive ever had and not very bitter at all! Would definitely recommend sharing it with a friend or two.

This place is a hidden gem!! Really enjoyed the vegan food here! Sometimes I find the lentils arent fully cooked at other restaurants but these guys know what theyre doing Will be back again and definitely recommend!

Everything here is great. I really enjoy visiting and eating here. The drinks and food here are very delicious. The staff and owner are very enthusiastic and warm towards customers. The restaurant is very spacious and clean inside and out. Lots of free parking for customers. The entrance to the shop is very convenient for both drivers and pedestrians. The dining space is comfortable, I like eating and drinking the most and listening to very good Vietnamese instrumental music at this restaurant. Everything is wonderful. I will often come and invite my friends to the restaurant to enjoy many delicious dishes here.

Me and my friends visit in large gatherings (around 8-9 people) frequently and are always met with great customer service from the staff and always receive our food quick and hot. The food there is made entirely from scratch and nothing is store bought! Not to mention a cheese pizza that feeds 4 people is only 12.99 and is one of the best pizzas you will ever eat in your life

The kind of traditional food like white tibsi and shiro, especially prepared with tasty enjera was so nice, It lets you think about it everytime you think about the rades dishes. I cant wait to get back again and have a diffrent meal again. Grasias rades resturant for serving such a delicious food.

Got the veggi mix and the habesha coffee. Both were incredibly good! The veggi mix had a great selection and the coffee was nice and strong with lots of character.

Spectacular food, atmosphere, service and music. It was a surprise to find this gem. We had the veggie enjera, veg soup, the tomato and egg with bread and the beautiful coffee ceremony. All delicious all the time. Flavors that make your taste buds want more. This is my new favourite place. You must go.

The Habesha options here are phenomenal. I dont know how else to praise them, the meal was incredibly delicious and I cant wait to take my whole family here! With breakfast items + Italian + Habesha theres literally something for everyone and I know it will be a hit. 10/10 would recommend anyone stop by.

We wanted to try Ethiopian cuisine, and this was a great first introduction! The server was great in giving suggestions and offered to make accommodations in a menu item as we did not eat beef. Food was also really good and the portions were big. It did take some time to get our food, but it was well worth the wait and we were given a free fries to make up for the wait too:)

Delicious food, kind service, and cozy atmosphere with Habesha music. Two of us had tibs (beef) and the veggie mix, plus an extra injera. We were pretty hungry, so this was a great amount for us, plus we had some extra enjera to take home and toast later. I also got a lemon tea, which was more earthy and spiced than lemony. Anyway, everything was delicious and fresh. We particularly liked the spicy dipping sauce that came with both dishes, which was strong with paprika and ginger. The injera was nice and bouncy and sour. So good. Very filling comfort food. Cant wait to come back for shakshuka.
