Most places in this city have 3 or 4 spicy options on their menu, though might be willing to give you an extra Jalapeno if you ask for something extra. Bangkok cuisine is not like most places in this city... They will openly offer to add extreme levels of spice to just about anything on their menu, and it all tastes good. They aren't just adding spice for the fun of it, even their Top of the Line stuff (which is as hot as people claim) does not compromise on flavor.
Great flavors and perfect spice levels. The Drunken Noodles and Fried Rice were our favorite. Peanut Noodles were amazingly savory and balanced the meal perfectly. We'll be ordering from Bangkok Cuisine alot from now on!
we miss the dining in experience as they’re only doing takeout now but definitely still worth it for take away. Very easy to order through their website for take away. This week we ordered the pad Thai, veggie curry w chicken and Thai basil drunken noodles. All tasted great & fought over leftovers the next day. :-)
Really great Pad Thai! If you like spicy food, this stuff is super spicy. Often I'll go to places and get extra spicy, and it's not even that hot. Here I was differently feeling the heat!! Spring rolls were fine, not much better than something you'd get frozen at the grocery store.
This is an excellent little place. The service was pleasant and fast. The place was clean and welcoming. And the food was really good - we had the following: Veggie fresh rolls - crunchy and actually fresh. The dip was good. Noodle Roni - a dish I've never seen before. Wide rice noodles with a cheesy sauce, sweet and spicy. Yum! Thai peanut: just really good. The veggies were just right, not too crunchy, not too tender. A good variety of veggies. Kids fried rice: not at all dumbed down. I quite like it, as did our little ones. Everything was decorated with cool little "carrot flowers" which were made on the floor, at a table my kid could just see. He was so excited to approach the person making them with questions, and she was really pleasant and welcoming. We'll be coming back for sure.
Appetizers were very good, calamari was soft not chewy, Spring Rolls were okay, hot and fresh, totally 5 stars! The entrees is where it looses a lot of points, the entrees I ordered were the sweet and sour (chicken) and almonds (beef) with rice and my wife had the green beans with red curry (pork). You have the option to choose which meat you'll be adding...the end result is a lot of veggies and sauce with a little bit of meat that you have to look for. I'm talking 70% veggies, 25% meat, 5% sauce. For the price point, it's a little bit steep for the amount of satisfaction you're getting compared to other Asian restaurants in the area. Taste and ambiance is also on the average side, the service though is wonderful.
Absolutely delicious! If you are looking for true Thia food this is the place to eat! The food is phenomenal especially the bangkok special rice, this rice is freaking fantastic! The flavours these owners/chef's have are amazing, the Bangkok rice has pineapple, peanuts, your choice of meat, and delicious spices! Plus the service has been amazing. They attend us quickly and friendly every single time, and at lunch they give you a free small soup that has cabbage in it, rice noodles and chicken and it is AMAZING! This is the place to eat.
Excellent food. This is one of the better places in town that serves Thai food. It's a small restaurant with simple decor and great food. All dishes we ordered had generous portion sizes with fresh ingredients and were very tasty. Highly recommend the Thai Peanut dish. I really enjoy spicy food and medium is a good level for me. Anything more and I wouldn't be able to taste any other flavour. A small note. If you dine here in the winter, get a table as far away from the door as possible, as the cold air blowing in each time the door opens can be disruptive. We brought our own takeout containers for the leftovers and our server was very excited when we pulled them out. Nice to see them care about waste reduction. Bottom line, great food here. I've been eating here for years and I will continue to dine here for years more to come. If you enjoy Thai food, this is a good option for you.
Amazing Thai takeout
Ordered the chicken pad Thai and chicken curry. Both were disappointing. Neither orders had very much chicken and didn t taste authentic at all.
Ordered Moderately Spicy See Food Combo. It was too too salty and not spicy at all.

I am very conflicted on this one. Ordered Pad thai, was warned medium is hot enough which i appreciate. But when we tasted it, it was sweet as a dessert. It did have spice but along with overpowering sugar. I had to eat it with bread just to balance the extreme sweetness. I am not a pad thai expert, but i dont remember it ever being this sweet
I ordered fresh shrimp rolls for take out and was delightfully surprised by the impressive size and taste. So fresh and so big! I had been craving shrimp rolls all day and I was really happy

Ive read a lot of great reviews about the pad thai at Bangkok Cuisine and had to try it. I love pad thai when its made right. Sadly this was one of the worst Ive ever had. It tasted so sweet, like it was covered in some kind of sugary sauce. Every bite was the same sweetness and not at all similar to the flavors of the better places Ive eaten at. It was really disappointing. The cashier was pleasant and the fresh rolls were ok but I dont think Ill visit again.

Ordered the drunken noodle, sesame chicken, Pad ped curry and spring rolls. I order Drunken noodles everywhere and this was basically noodles with soya sauce and zero veggies or meat. The sesame chicken was very good but the Pad ped curry didn t have much flavour and the spring rolls maybe didn t travel well but were not good.

A Waiter called Milla was incredibly helpful along the way and I will be dining at this fine establishment again for years to come. (The pad thai kept my wife from leaving me). Slay. Every dish Ive ever had here is spectacular. I shouldnt even be writing this review because now Im dreaming about it at 11am. The Pad See Ew is the best Ive ever had anywhere. Their food quality and flavour is mind blowing. My husband is an extremely picky eater, and this is one of his go-to places because its so good. Quality: CHECK Quantity: CHECK Value: CHECK We recommend Bangkok Cuisine to anyone and everyone we know and SO glad they are on Ubereats now. We drive 35 minutes, one way, regularly, so we can get takeout from here. Selfishly I hope they open another restaurant in Waterloo.
This place had high reviews, so we tried it. Ordered the cashew nut chicken, very disappointed. Crushed cashews, not whole, sauce was brown and salty, overall taste was just not good. Also the crispy spring roll was terrible. Chewy and odd I threw it all out and it was expensive. Wont go back.
Ordered for dinner for the first time. Menu is clearly marked for Gluten Free menu options. We ordered shrimp fresh rolls and beef fresh rolls - the rolls were large and very fresh! One order of fresh rolls comes with two rolls and a light, but flavourful dipping sauce. We also ordered chicken pad thai and tofu vegetable curry. Serving sizes were enough to feed two adults with leftovers. Food was ready quickly and was fresh and flavourful! Will definitely order from Bangkok Cuisine again! **Update: We order almost once a month from Bangkok Cuisine and have NEVER been disappointed. We only wish they were open more!! Dietary restrictions: Many vegetarian and gluten free options.

We were really excited to try this place and were really disappointed. The pad thai was too sweet and wasnt even close to my preferred thai restaurants. The spring rolls tasted like frozen ones you get from a grocery store. Price is also pretty steep for the portion size. Probably wont be back.

Tried the vegetable curry and peanut curry noodles tonight. Peanut curry noodles were amazing! Super flavourful. Vegetable curry was good, very fresh. Only criticism is both we re quite salty.
We got the Kow Pad Prik fried rice, the peanut curry noodles and the pad Thai for takeout. All three dishes were delicious, but our favourite was the peanut curry noodle. Its rich, so would recommend splitting it rather than having it as your whole meal. The dishes were light on their proteins, but perhaps thats just how things are now with the prices of meat. Would recommend!

So happy we discovered Bangkok Cuisine. We love their food. Delicious flavours . You choose the spice level.. and you choose the protein. Every dish can be vegan too! Very friendly staff.
We used to come to eat at this restaurant frequently, our online experience has not been good at all , the good thing about eating in is the ability to have it made fresh as You the custom want it , this is hard to do on line . Poor experience tonight and other nights online ordering . Things not done right missed comments Bad communication Doubt we will return and order again 30$ for one dish done wrong we cannot afford We will find some place that we can eat in at .
I totally agree with some of the reviews here. Ordered Red Curry Fish for $28! Mostly vegetables, some Fish and Barely any sauce. Basically the curry was dried up. I don t who thinks the food here is 4.6? Their charging like it s a 5 star restaurant. I ve had much better red curry fish half the price with more fish and sauce.
Well everyone was telling me that they had the best calamari in the city. So I ordered and picked up an order. I got home and took a bite and realized that this dish will eventually end and I will be sad because it is truly amazing. Im glad I ordered another just in case. This place used to be a 10/10 but over the years, the quality went down and when I ordered in today, it was so bland and sweet, I couldnt taste anything and the presentation of it likes so dried up and gross
Best Thai takeout we have ever had. Red coconut curries and Thai peanut curries were creamy and delish! A great variety of dishes that were all fresh and perfectly spiced. I highly recommend Bangkok Cuisine!
I am really picky about Thai food, and this is the best Thai food Ive had in KW. When I order takeout they are always quick. I am gluten free and everything is clearly labeled. I crave their food about once a week!
Wow. Highly recommend. We throughly enjoyed the kow pad rice with tofu, drunken noodles with chicken and mussamun curry. Extra treat was the crab cheese wontons. Takeout was easy and hot on arrival .

Absolutely amazing food. SO flavourful, fresh, incredibly well-made. Sauces are some of the best I ve ever had in my life. We split the panang curry, drunken noodles, pad Thai, mussamun coconut curry, fresh rolls, calamari, and crispy shrimp. Every dish was a banger and we had leftovers that were just as delicious. Bangkok Cuisine is our go-to place for Thai food in Kitchener. The food is fresh and delicious, the veggies are crisp, the sauces and curries are super flavourful and you can order it as mild or spicy as you like. They have a steak salad that is fabulous if you are in the mood for salad.
This is one of the best if not the best Thai food restaurant we have ever had. The food is amazing!! The service is awesome!! Sesame chicken and Pad Thai are both absolutely awesome!!!

Love this place! The food tastes the same everytime! Staff are super friendly. The owner is very polite. - March 2022 I just went last night July 20 2022 There was very little sauce in my dish and the sauce was watered down to the point it didnt even stick to the chicken, my boyfriends dish was also watered down and flavourless. Definitely not worth the $51 plus $5 dollar tip for take out. I wont be returning
This is my favourite Thai restaurant (and I ve tried pretty much all of them in KW). My favourite dishes are the Thai peanut noodles and the Fried Potato Curry. I have not been able to find those dishes anywhere else. They also stand out by ensuring their meat is high quality and abundant in each dish. Some restaurants have cut portion size lately but not this place! The only downside is they are closed over lunch. Otherwise I would be ordering even more!

The pad Thai was extremely sweet and had too much sauce. I got the chicken version and the chicken (all 6 pieces) were as hard as cardboard and tasted gross. We wont be going back.
Tried this place for the first time and was very disappointed. Had high hopes based on the 4.7 rating. We ordered pad Thai, beef summer rolls, massamun curry, and a fish dish. The curry was good portion and taste, the pad Thai was below average on both taste and portion, the summer rolls had dry stringy beef. The worst was the fish dish, for $27 you might expect a nice piece of fish, but no what we got was 3 small fish sticks under a lot of stir fried viggies. Very little fish and honestly did not taste good. Wanted to like this place as the counter staff is very friendly but the food is severely lacking considering the competition in the area. I would stick with Ben Thanh next time.

I went to Bangkok Cuisine seeking flavour and spice, and boy did I get it! I ordered hot and it really was, just as intended (methinks the very hot might have been not as pleasurable). Some points to note: - pad see ew was tasty, though not the conventional that you usually get at Thai restaurants. Ive heard Bangkok Cuisine is more authentic Thai, thats probably why. - the corn starch was caked on too thick on the calamari and sesame chicken and spoiled the taste for me - the calamari was stale. Would not order that dish again. - Penang curry was good Vegetarian options: Most curries and noodles can be ordered with tofu and/or veggies Parking: Parking lot out front Wheelchair accessibility: On ground floor

Its worth going just to see if you can get your picture on the wall for handling the Top of the Line spice! It is indeed quite painful...but tasty.

The best Thai food in the region. Consistently excellent curry dishes, plus great appetizers and soups. The spice levels are just as they say and not skewed low like other places. Go to spot for takeout or a Friday night.

Truly outstanding. Some of the best calamari I have ever had. The batter was delicious! We had the egg noodles, peanut curry and the orange dish. All were exceptional. The egg noodles were packed with flavour I couldnt get enough. The peanut curry wasnt too sweet it had a really nice rich flavour. The orange was good but my favourites were the egg noodles and the peanut curry. This place jumped to one of my top two places for thai style cuisine. 11/10 would go again

Wow is all I have to say! Their service is amazing, very careful order taking. If you are vegan, they have tons of options and I have tried a few. The drunken noodles and Peanut Curry Noodles are just amazing. The Vegetables Curry is perfect! I drove in from Waterloo to pick it up and will find excuses to make this drive again and again without a doubt! One note, and they will tell you that if your first time, their medium is like the hot in other restaurants. So maybe go with Mild to test the waters and then move up the heat level as you order again. Trust me, you will order again!

This place is Vancouver quality Thai food. Its authentic and delicious. We moved here after 23 years in Vancouver and have tried for a few years to find they same quality. Weve found our flavors... Theyve got new longtime customers. AWESOME food! I highly recommend it.
This is my go-to Thai food in the KW area. Their curries are some of the best Ive had and portions are great - I usually get two meals out of one order! I cant recommend them enough.
Really confused on how they received such a high rating. Tried today, cannot continue with the dish after few bite. EXTREMELY SALTY all around and we are both experiencing physical discomfort. Throw the rest away before it got anyone into the ER. Avoid at all cost unless you are suicidal. EDIT: The spiciness was not the problem, but the saltiness was! This could easily send me to the hospital if consume as is. Thai food and spice are not new to me as an Asian. But I am still experiencing discomfort from the two bites I took last night due to how salty it is. The SALT is the problem. I dont know what went wrong in your kitchen, but I am not letting you cover this up with spiciness.

They are spicy though so we dont order it with spice.
Maybe I just can t handle authentic Thai food, but I found this ridiculously spicy, which was a shame because it did taste good under all the heat. I typically have a decent tolerance for spice so I ordered my Drunken Noodles medium spice, but my mouth was on fire. My husband got his Pad Thai mild and he complained that it was way too hot as well I wouldn t think mild should be spicy at all? Also my spring rolls tasted like the kind you d get from a food court. Disappointing. I had high hopes for this place with all the high ratings, but it s not for me.
Most horrible pad Thai I ever had in my life. It was so sweet. It felt like they mixed in sugar in the sauce. Never again. Please avoid.

Ive been visiting this restaurant for almost 10 years and never had a disappointing meal. The curries are fantastic. Their spice levels are intense and not for the faint of heart. The atmosphere is quiet and calm. The service is efficient. I recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is small and very popular. My only qualm is that they need to expand their dessert menu to more than one dish.
My son and I went today for lunch. We have never been but heard good things about it. So glad that we finally got to go. My son had the pad Thai & I had the Thai peanut noodles & we started with the crispy rolls. It was all so fresh and hot. They serve was great. A very busy place I cant wait to go back with my family

Ive been here a few times and the service is excellent. I stick with Thai peanut Curry noodles and it is so good! You choose your own spice level, I stick with mild but you can get really hot if you want to. My boyfriend gets mid level hot and he enjoys his food and is excited about the spice, even though it sounds like he suffering a bit he says Its in a good way lol. He loves it! If you like spice this is the place. They also have a wall of customers who were able to eat through there top of the line spice dishes. They serve delicious prawn crackers as a complimentary starter and they have wine and beer. Its a small establishment restaurant with no wait time. I think the reason for this is that they are a little unknown, but thats fine more food at a decent wait time! The atmosphere is more of a dim light date night. Perfect if youre wanting to avoid loud sports bars.

The food here is mouth watering! It s a family owned business that s run incredibly. Polite kind attentive and patient service. The food on the other hand is scrumptious! I always get the basil stir fry with jasmine rice and shrimp pad Thai and for appetizer: rice paper chicken spring rolls . My mouth is watering writing this review! Side note: they have a over the road spicey or something like that option on their menu. Yes I highly highly highly suggest you don t try it as it s torture! It s the hottest they ll make it and it isnt enjoyable for me At least.

We ordered fresh shrimp rolls and Im disappointed that the roll had one shrimp only, they cut the shrimp into half and they put it on each end. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE.. The place dont even deserve a star at all. I wish I can post pictures of the rolls

My favourite takeout in Kitchener! I always order the vegetable curry noodle (mild) and my husband gets the beef thai basil rice (medium). The food is delicious and the service is always so friendly! Highly recommend.

I love that their menu clearly shows what can be made vegetarian, vegan or with other dietary restrictions like gluten free and that you can choose your spice level. The food is amazing--especially the curries. The carrot flowers are so cute, and there is a great atmosphere. This has been a go-to favourite in KW for me for a long time.
Amazing customer service and food! I ordered over Uber Eats and they immediately called me to confirm my order since one of the dishes I ordered wasn t vegan. The woman on the phone said she can make it vegan for me no problem. I really appreciated that :)

Came here with my boyfriend today, the place is small and clean. The young waiter was very nice and the food was pretty good! Lots of vegetarian options as well, will be coming back :)

Nice food.. This is my first visit.. I want to mention my review here : 1. Ambience -- Very decent restaurant. 2. Price -- Reasonable price around 11.95+ taxes per dish. 3. Staff -- Courteous staff. 4. Food --- Very good quality food.. Good quantity for a single person. I tried the dish named Almond with extra hot sauce. See the pic. It has lot of vegetables with Almonds and a bowl of rice. Note -- Extra hot is really spicy.. So be careful..
The food is always delicious and the service has always been great. We try and eat here at least once a month.

Try the peanut curry. Stay away from Top of the Line spice level unless youre nuts and/or want your picture on the board.

I love this place. Don t underestimate the location, the place is clean and the food is amazing for what you pay. Super fresh and tasty. The spice levels are nice too I feel like I m getting true authentic Thai spice. Bangkok fried rice is my favourite dish!
