The Keg is just as good for less than half the price. Also, the parking situation here is surprisingly horrendous. Good place for snobby rich people who think theyre better than you. Just like how this restaurant thinks its better than the others.

This place is phenomenal. Food and people are their passion. I always look forward to my Avenue experience. This will always have a special place in my heart.

Exceptional dining experience. Very well-crafted cocktails, incredible food. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Service was great; attentive yet unobtrusive.

Avenue was a nice place with good food. However, the reason this review is lower is because the portions were small and very over priced in my opinion. I still went to McDonalds after cause I was hungry after spending almost $40 on my meal - ice Food

Expensive and noisy.

Had dinner last night with girlfriends, waiter was aggressive, defensive, disrespectful and with no class. Took effort not to call him out on his behaviour. Food was just average, nothing special..better food out of my home kitchen. One of us had dietary restrictions which were discussed however completed ignored. Just a terrible experience. Not returning.

We dined at Avenue tonight, and honestly was not impressed. The food was good and service was great up until after paying. After we paid, our server asked if everything was okay (twice) with the service and referring to his tip stating that if his service was good, why I didn t tip 15% or 20% which he stated most people usually do. He tried to repeat it loudly for the restaurant to hear and then muttered under his breath and walked away. Definitely not something you expected from a high end and a reputable restaurant. Will not be coming back.

In further to hearing more negative reviews regarding servers, people if a server treats you well why should you not tip him/her/ other accordingly . Life is getting expensive for everyone, even servers so if can afford to go out for dinner, have some courtesy to give proper gratuity. I constantly dine at the Avenue in Kleinburg and I have never had any negative experience in regards to food , service and ambiance. It is a first class establishment . But when I see a bad review when it is not meritted against the service staff, it then irks me and I need to refute this claim. The service staff are performing at their best and it would only be fair to compensate them for the minimum gratuity at best, especially when they did a proper serving. Without servers , the amazing food and ambiace we experience cannot be given. Life is getting very expensive, if we can afford to go out and dine , at best we can be fair to compensate those working to offer us a great experience.

Food was good. Service mediocre at best . Not sure why but the server just didnt seem interested in us . They also seated us in the private area and anytime they needed to get a bottle of wine my chair would get pushed ...great experience while youre eating

My husband and I dined at this establishment last night to celebrate my birthday, having been enticed by the glowing recommendations of friends. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. The service was notably deficient, with our waiter largely absent throughout the evening. The zucchini flowers we ordered were disappointingly soggy. My husband was left without water for 30 minutes, and no one inquired if we desired another cocktail. I chose the seabass, which regrettably contained an abundance of bones, making it quite difficult to enjoy. When I finally managed to attract a server s attention to get water for my husband, the waiter mistakenly poured still water into my glass of sparkling water. Upon informing him of the error, his response was, Well, it s flat now, without offering a replacement. When I mentioned it was my birthday and inquired if they did anything special for such occasions, the waiter s indifferent response was, I can sing for you. It would have been a thoughtful gesture to be offered the dessert menu or asked if I wanted an espresso or tea. Given the numerous lapses in service and quality, it was unsurprising that the restaurant was more than half empty. Needless to say, my husband was very letdown that that was the restaurant he chose to take me to for my birthday.

Why does good service have to end at the time of payment? If your system is not equipped to support split checks, you need to upgrade your system. There is no excuse for making your guests (paying $150 per person mind you) attempting to split their bills manually at the end of their meal for 10 minutes. This is unacceptable in a time where we have ample access to technology, paired with an establishment of this ranking. If it wasn t for this disappointment, the food was delicious. But upgrade your system and have it work for you and your guests. Not vice versa.

Amazing food, drinks and service. Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in Vaughan. Highly recommend trying the seafood risotto and the ribeye. Also, do not skip out on dessert. The pistachio cheesecake is absolutely delicious. Hands down one of the best cheesecakes I ve had.

This restaurant is located in a small affluent town northwest of Toronto; west of King City. Ethnically, many Italian live in this general area. This Italian is first class and very authentic.

Took my girlfriend here for a romantic lunch and was not disappointed.

A notch below average Italian food and overpriced. Billy is the worst server I ve experienced in a long time. Very Frantic, Rushing and inattentive. Only saving grace was the pizza.

There is a journey you must take to Avenue Cibi e Vini in Kleinberg .there is a vibe, understated but elegant. Lucky for us we live 20 minutes away! You are greeted by the most professional hosts. (I decided long ago these wonderful people who take care of you are hosts.) Andre deftly guided us through the offerings. As we discussed the menu, many plated delicacies passed by us. We lunched on beautifully dressed and seasoned Caesar Salad, I had the special ..Cod Cakes and my darling had Gnocchi Bolognese. The tastes, the textures, were beyond what we expected. Clearly we shared! A side bar ..we moved from Oakville to Palgrave and went in search of somewhere special. We found it and what s more Andre use to work in a restaurant in Oakville! We could not help but to stop by the kitchen and visit the masters of our epicurean adventure!

I took my girlfriend out for her 50th birthday and went to the best place in Vaughan for dinner, there is a huge tent structure they built since covid, the server was nice, knowledgeable and pleasant, the food was good I had swordfish and my gf had Orato, she said they left too many bones in the fish... the tables were very close together and it was a bit loud, still an enjoyable night out and would go back... oh, btw make sure your wallet is full of money..... I went recently and the tent is no longer there but inside is beautiful and the waiter was awesome Parking: Limited parking in the back

I loved it. In the Kleinburg neighborhood, a fairy tale town especially with snow... the food was very good, I ate the gnocchi with burnt provolone and arugula, delicious. He I liked the atmosphere a lot, chic and relaxed. Very attentive service.

Anyone giving this place anything but a 5 star review is either is a miserable you know what or sits on a high horse. This is the fine dining at its best. Nothing on the menu is bad and chefs are world class. Food : 5/5

The food is delicious and the service takes it over the top!!! The servers all work together to make you feel relevant and noticed. I love the lamb chops and for dessert the panna cotta or the pistachio cheesecake. Been here with small and large groups but had a spectacular experience everytime. Would definitely recommend.

Great use of heated tent for winter dining. Very upbeat atmosphere. Food was more modern Italian rather than the same old traditional which is hard to find...like cacio e pepe. Parking: Busy along that strip on weekends so parking may be challenging but free .

Food is good but service left something to be desired. Plates werent cleared after antipasti, didnt offer pepper and cheese for mains, smells like sewage down the stairs and into the washrooms, they forgot one of our guests meals and it wasnt ready until after everyone else finished. They tried to lie as well and pretend that the pizza broke whatever that means, after reading what they ordered after everyone else recieved their meals. Tip shouldnt be automatically included when service is not up to a basic standard.

Great experience!! I was there yesterday with my cousins and really enjoyed the food! Everything tasted amazing and fresh. Cosmo was our server and was on point and super friendly. At the end of the night, Rob was kind enough to get another super friendly Joe to walk us to our car with an umbrella because it was raining so hard. Definitely would recommend this place!

The food was good, service was good. Atmosphere was a bit noisy for my taste (table in the tent in the back). I lost my voice this morning from all of the shouting. I did find it to be a bit pricey, but then again what restaurant isnt these days?

Service was impeccable, atmosphere was really nice. As for the food.... one of the worst Ive had. I ordered an arugula salad, the octopus off their special menu and boar ragu pasta. I can make better arugula salad at home. It was incredibly basic, they didnt even bother toasting the walnuts a bit. They just threw raw walnuts in. The octopus was not grilled or flavored at all and it came with some raw potatoes that were supposed to be baked but they were so raw that you would hear the crunch as you tried to bite them. The boar ragu that came with the pasta was actually just ground beef. The wine we picked was also terrible btw. I wish they offered us to taste it first. And they only give you 5oz instead of the usual 6 or 8 you normally get for the same price in many other restaurants. Just incredibly dissapointing. I wish the food was at least remotely decent because the atmosphere was nice and staff was also very nice and friendly.

Great food, terrible server. John told me I can gnocchi on the side of my salmon and then when the food came out he told me I ordered 2 main dinners....a full salmon dinner and a full gnocchi...apparently they dont do sides. What? Then why tell Me? At 9pm he proceeded to tell us we had to leave because the next party was here...lol they close at 10pm. I dont know if it was racism or what but I wouldnt go back solely due to the customer service. Skeevy little server...needs to get over himself.

I enjoy thé meal every time I return. Its been a while since being there and during the recent visit, I noticed the prices have become excessively expensive. Particularly the bar drinks. There is no reason for that. Both pasta dishes are fantastic

The server Andrea was fantastic! The first time a server has asked if anyone at the table has allergies before introducing themselves or the specials. Good job Andrea and lunch was amazing! Most people dont understand the challenge living with allergies can be...Andrea obviously does.

The Italian eatery offered an impressive array of wines that complemented their delectable cuisine perfectly. The food was exquisite, and the service was flawless, leaving nothing to be desired.

This is my favourite local restaurant and I often dine in or order take-out. (I like other restaurants in the area but Avenue hits me differently). My personal favourite is Avenue faccocia, mezzo & olives, Bufalina Pizza, and my go-to penne pasta in rose sauce. My partner loves their steaks and meat pasta (Im not a meat eater). They have an exceptional selection of Italian wines. My favourite is the Farina. Avenue is truly a landmark and testament to Kleinburgs charm. It provides an authentic and unpretentious taste of Italian cuisine and service by seasoned professionals. From the food, to the people, to the gorgeous aesthetic and classical vibe, its the perfect restaurant for a romantic dinner date, celebration or just to dine in style with friends and family. The service is impeccable and the staff are delightful. Paulina, Billy, Garry, Jimmy, Jonny, Michalago, etc are always attentive, accommodating and considerate as they strive to provide a superb dining experience. The level of passion they have is hard to match, and its evident that they work well together as a team. I always feel happy when I dine in. They are genuinely kind and delightful even when I see them on my walks/bike rides in the village. Considering the quality and location, the prices are reasonable (with the exception of some specialty cocktails and wines :). Its a place that never disappoints. I cant recommend it enough. Im updating this review after 2 years of my first post because I felt my original one did not do it justice. Vegetarian options: they offer lots of options such as starters, mains like pizza, and zuchinni pasta, etc, Dietary restrictions: They are accomodating for gluten and dairy Parking: about 15 spots, valet fridays and saturday option. But plenty of free parking nearby on the street and some businesses Wheelchair accessibility: is accesible via the side entrance near the patio. The bathroom is not wheelchair accessible - but unsure if they have an upstairs bathroom

This food was outstanding. I had Scialatielli Vongole - an absolutely amazing medley of cherry tomato, cauliflower, and clams. Every course was quite delicious.

Food was good and restaurant atmosphere is good. Had a great evening until the end of the night, the servers behaviour has us left with disgust and we will never recommend this restaurant to anyone, let alone return here. Upon paying the bill we decided to provide the server a cash tip, to which he rejected and threw the money back onto our table, while telling us to not embarrass him or ourselves, because it was not the amount he was expecting, I quote the server said to us do not embarrass me or yourselves . Tips aren t an expectation, they re given as a thank you for the service, server surprises me that he expected a tip for the minimal interaction service he provided and that too rejecting our tip throwing the cash back at us. Management needs to fix these issues with their service team ASAP, given the multiple negatives reviews of this problem just goes to show there is a lack of accountability and poor customer service at this establishment.

This is hands down some of the best Italian food the city has to offer. 5 STARS ALL AROUND

Started off with an $18 aperol spritz, that tasted like it should! Followed by the Barese sausage with rapini as an appetizer. The sausage was really flavorful. Not salty, good taste. The rapini were sautéed and not over cooked. As my main I had the tagliolini with shaved tartufo. The taste was VERY good, and i enjoyed it very much! It had a simple butter sauce with shaved truffles that were outstanding!! At $42, I found it a bit pricey, but Im not sure of the going rate of truffle these days . Finished off my dinner with 2 flavours of Gelato, pistachio and lemon. They both tasted really good, and would definitely have them again. A strawberry flavour would have been nice, but they didnt have it. Price is a bit on the higher side, atmosphere is nice, modern and clean, with wait staff being friendly, fast and responsive. Over all a very good restaurant.

Terrible service. I ordered food and told the waiter Robert that I m in a rush since I had an appointment and I had to leave in an hour. After 45 minutes I called him and he said he will tell the cook to make my pizza. After 15 minutes I went to see if my pizza is ready and I realized that the cook had just started stretching the dough and I told Robert to cancel my order since I had no time left and he said NO just wait 3 minutes!!!The restaurant was not busy at all and not sure why it took them so long and why he thought the pizza takes only 3 minutes to cook? Very disappointed with their service and wouldn t recommend this place to anyone

Usually food is really good but lately not sure whats going on... Cacio pepe is watery and pasta wont cooked well could smell raw garlic. Service is also slower now.

I went here around 7pm on Friday, July 21st. I was expecting a nice dinner after hearing some great reviews from my coworkers. I brought my family and we were told at the door that we would not be eating there because we were wearing shorts. This was completely unacceptable, as it was very hot outside, but the staff were unwavering. We ended up down the street at La Buracca without any issues about our clothing.

I ve been here a few times since it s just down the street from my Re/max office. Great Italian food and great service. It s a very business casual atmosphere, can t tell if there is a dress code, but everyone s dressed really nice.

Very high class and quality but relaxed atmosphere. Our server was quite knowledgeable about the menu and his explanation of each item was professional. The wine list is like what you would find in a small trattoria in Italy. Nonna must have taught the chef. In all, veramente bonissima. Gets my 10.

We dined at Avenue at Friday Harbour and were impressed with food and service. Decided to try the Kleinburg location and were not impressed. Once we were seated towards the back of the restaurant even when there were seats up front, our server John greeted us with how can I help you today? not something you hear at a restaurant. There was no interaction with the server, even slipped the bill on the table while speaking to other table. He also kept picking up plates of items we were not finished with. Definitely not something you expected from a high end and a reputable restaurant. Will not be coming back

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner last Saturday and it was an amazing experience. Our server Michelangelo was amazing and made us feel very welcome and well-taken care of. Stopped by this place during the pandemic when we couldn t eat indoors so we sat in a wonderfully decorated tent in the parking lot. We enjoyed our food so much we ve been longing to go back. Not exactly close to home but we ate there recently after a visit to the McMichael. Again, it was absolutely excellent Italian. Will be back for sure if we find ourselves in that neighbourhood. Prices have gone up though since our first visit there, so not cheap; however, it was all first class. Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options on the menu

Food was pretty good. The server was not attentive at all. Didnt pour our drinks in our glasses. It took him so long to come back after we had our dinner that we skipped coffee and dessert!

Dining with my wife and four friends last night at the Friday Harbour location, everyone enjoyed their meal and the service. The steaks were medium rare cooked to perfection, the seafood linguini had lots of baby clams, shrimp and calamari. The pizza was cooked perfectly, the grilled oyster mushrooms were delicious as was the calamari appetizer. Great location and a lovely evening.

Another hidden establishment in the Kleinberg / Woodbridge area, in a beautiful town kinda setting. Great food, including amazing seafood (not a huge fan though), quality pasta and service to match. Overall, a must visit.

The food is delicious but super super expensive place!! Very overpriced...a stupid espresso martini cost 16 dollar...they hammer you!!! also another thing is they dont split the bills.. the service is nice its just very expensive place!! Even niagara falls restaurants with a beautiful view of the falls are not as expensive as this place!!

Good ambiance and good service which you would expect from a high priced Italian restaurant. Having said the price does not justify the food which was unexceptional. The Salmon was over cooked and dry, the Penne a la Vodka dish was bland and unexceptional, the Caprese salad was missing the dressing, Ceasaer Salad unexptional, the Tiramisu was fresh but not exceptional tasting, which could be acceptable if the prices did not lead you to believe that this should be a much better place.

When we informed that both main course dishes (lamb and chicken )have extra salt then server informed that he will inform kitchen but nothing happened. They didn t even acknowledged that there can be extra salt. Server kept saying I eat lamb all the times and it s perfect always. Hard to understand their hospitality standards!

We had a very enjoyable experience. The food was so delicious and so many options to choose from! The desserts are to die for!! We had some awesome martinis. Our waiter was very attentive and so friendly. The pace was just perfect, we didn t feel rushed at all. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back soon!!

All the food was amazing! The staff are so nice and friendly. Had the best time here. Save room for dessert - both the pistachio cheesecake and pistachio lava cake were SO GOOD!!

Was seated on the patio as a large group and was served by John. He was attentive, and enthusiastic and provided beautiful service to our large group. The food was delicious and the serving sizes were healthy! The menu is not as expensive as people have stated. This is definitely mid-range and not outrageously priced. The only thing to note is that the focaccia with olives is not free table bread, and the bottled water is not the same as getting tap water. The group was shocked that we were charged for water and bread so keep that in mind. Parking is also a nightmare if youre coming on a busy night so give yourself extra time if you have a reservation.

Parking: Space for parking behind restaurant and along the street. Wheelchair accessibility: Back entrance ramped up with no steps. . . However the bathroom was oddly down stairs. I am not sure if there is another washroom to accommodate a wheelchair?

Exquisite food and great service

Excellent service and extremely great meal. Andrea, our waiter, was courteous, helpful, and passionate about the restaurant from the time I came in and provided wonderful service for the two hours we were there. We went out for a business lunch, and each member of our party chose a different meal, which all looked fantastic and fresh. The restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients, as well as premium menu items such the Special Stuffed Italian Pheasant with Black Truffle. I had the Veal, which was delicious, and accompanied it with a wonderful red wine. I will definitely be returning for a dinner service with my family, so long as I get the pleasure of being served by my friend Andrea.

Avenue Kleinberg is a place to go to celebrate a special occasion. The food is exceptional and the service staff are pros. We shared several plates to start and the server was very helpful in making sure we didnt order more than was necessary for the table. All in all a great night.

Went to Avenue for our anniversary. My husband had made reservations and when we got there we were greeted immediately. Our server helped me take off my jacket and pushed in my chair for me. I was not expecting that but it was a super wonderful gesture. Our server was quite busy but always had the time to acknowledge us and I really like how the servers cover eachother so that none of the guests feel like they have been forgotten. The menu isnt a huge selection but there is definitely something for everyone and everything is so delicious and flavourful. It is on the pricier side but the quality of food and service that you get justifies that. I have to complement the chef for the food is truly delicious and the Crème Brûlée is the best Ive ever had.

By far the finest culinary experience in the region. Getting a table in the evening can be a challenge and the place gets very busy inside, however this is a tribute to its number one spot. I enjoy Saturday lunch where the quality and friendliness of staff perfectly match the food

I am rating this based on the order we had. Overly priced! Halibut $56 and red snapper $45 we ordered were horrible. Barley with seabass-not quite sure why they paired this together! Barley tasted like porridge without seasoning. So, I only ate the Halibut, and it was not tasteful either. The side order Rappini was a disappointment as it was tough to cut let alone to chew. We hated that we wasted our food as we left half the portion!!! The red snapper was a joke, the plate presentation was questionable, and unappetizing. The server knew we were not happy with the food, but he was almost embarrassed, so he tried to avoid us and paid less attention. Did he offer other options as he knew we had a discontentment in our face? No, he didnt bother so I give customer service as 3/5. We really enjoyed the bruschetta and gelato to wash out the awful taste of the entree dishes!!! Ambiance was alright but the decor was nice. I would not recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. We were extremely disappointed. Food 1/5 (they need to reconsider what they serve) not worth the money we paid. Service 3/5 Cleanliness 3/5 washroom was not clean enough. They need to check their plumbing- has a sewer smell from the floor. My friend and I go to different restaurants to try different cuisines and they were exceptionally top notched compared to The Avenue restaurant; it was the worst experience! What a shame. I suggest you visit Belsito Trattoria in the same neighbourhood and they are way better (excellent service and food is authentic and much better).

Very authentic Italian food and Everything is just perfect!

Other than being pretty Im not sure what the rave reviews are all about. Food was very bland. The Sicilian arugula salad was the most bland. Grilled calamari was the best thing we ordered but not the best grilled calamari Ive had by far. Gnocchi was average, lamb was so plain, just salt and pepper - not even rosemary. I wouldnt go back and wouldnt recommend.

Absolutely beautiful spot with top eats and an impressive atmosphere. Everything we tried was spot on and the portions were just right.

Memorable evening spent with close friends. Was planning to visit Avenue for sometime now and it did not disappoint. Has to be one of the best patio settings out there. Guest service is an amazingly interactive experience. The menu is super well thought out and one could not go wrong with pure italian classics! Will be going back soon to explore some more.

It s was our first time here all 4 of us, The food was fresh & delicious but took longer than it should ve in my opinion, there was a big variety wine menu.
