Hey I’m a Wendy’s enjoyer, I would say Wendy’s is one of my favourite restaurants, I was very disappointed in the service, they took forever with my order( I didn’t order a lot) then once I got my order I proceeded to go to the car,(big mistake) found out that I was missing my main chicken sandwich. I’m very disappointed in this location, and there whole service, as well as there is a clear language barrier, French or English (I have no clue)

My first job when I was a month shy of being 14y/o back in my home town. We had to have the order up in under a minute. Well this restaurant in Quebec City is brand new. The food was properly, accurately and promptly prepared. Staff was friendly and professional. The place was easy to find and plenty of parking with wheelchair accessible entrance and washrooms. The only thing negative (and I've been saying this for years...) they should never have gotten rid of the Kaiser buns... Bon Appetit!! And YES CHOCOLATE FROSTY IS AN APPROPRIATE DIPPING "SAUCE" FOR FRENCH FRIES.
@Surround The Word, your in a French Country! Stop redo your message each day saying that to be on top and defending not the reality. We have a law that protecting the French language. It’s not us that have to accommodate to it. It’s from the other side. Everyone or lot of costumers leaves without even get served, employees shouting on costumers. Today, they even locked the doors down in the middle of the day. Never see that in my life. We can understand on first days but after 2 weeks it’s the same reality. It’s not because there’s more costumers that others store around. Employees idle on the back, look around, work sooo slow. I work also in a fast food as a manager and if my employees working like this, they would not stay there for a long time..
This might be the slowest drive through service of all time. We’ve been waiting over 15 minutes and still not even at the point of ordering.. someone should review their timers.

People complaining about wait times aren't mentioning that there's a lot more people going during busy hours compared to other fast foods around. And people complaining about English speaking could learn a little basic English, don't forget you're in an English Country... Edit: Zero wait time when I order in advance through mobile app

Being a big fan of Wendys, I was looking forward to this Wendys. To be honest, for an American restaurant chain, Im pleasantly surprised! The cuisine is just as faithful, finger-licking good! Not to mention THE BEVERAGE MACHINE which holds so many drinks! Plus, it s all so affordable! I took an Alsego Chicken Burger trio (9) with a large drink and a small salad and it was all only for $18! The service for my part was done in French even though the service was excellent and pleasant, even though the people seemed to be really happy to work. I will go back without hesitation, hoping that Wendys will make way in Quebec!
Very small restaurant. Slightly chaotic service with 2 screens for ordering. The burgers come out lukewarm and the fries cold. Maybe this is all due to the newness of the restaurant. I will return in a month and update my review.

First of all, My friend and I order a takeaway meal... We got it in a cabaret and then they didnt call us to come pick it up. I order Fanta, there was none. The image of the sauces is in containers, we are given two sachets (if I didnt want them in a small container, I would have taken my sauce at home). One of the guys at the front speaks in English, but ONLY English. Personally, I have no problem with it, but I imagine the communication barrier for people who dont understand English. The food is OK, nothing famous, but the fries arent so bad. The atmosphere is up to date. The fact that we were told by an employee not to order at the counter and then two people took their orders there where we were refused is a bit ordinary for my taste. The prices are not too expensive. The wait is a good 10 -15 minutes.
UPDATE: I went back and was served in French from A to Z. I was extremely shocked to see that the order numbers were in English. Its a really easy problem to resolve and it proves that the owners are completely out of touch and have no consideration for French in Quebec.
Unclean places Liqueur machine was disgusting, the table where its utensils and ketchup. Was soiled with food, the bins at the outlet were overflowing, no desire to repeat the experience.
The food is excellent. Despite the fact that the microphone at the drive-thru was not functional, they provided great service at the window. Served with a smile! Give them time to get organized and you will enjoy a great experience!!!

Expensive burgers for what it is (same taste as McDonalds) - toilet door that doesnt lock..... Strange - cashier who has absolutely no command of French, also strange... And the baconator didnt nothing impressive... Sadly.

Unilingual service in English! I see in the comments that we were talking about a manager, I was a manager! You have to believe that no one speaks French for customer service in this restaurant! Not very clean. You wouldnt say it was new!
After an interminable wait we got a refund because they had completely lost control of the orders and nothing came out, not even an invoice as proof of payment. Not able to be answered in French.
For real, if there was the possibility of giving zero stars, thats what I would have given I have never had such a negative experience... Very poor management of traffic, no efficiency in kitchen which leads to very slow service! We received our order more than 50 minutes after placing it... After 20 minutes, I wanted to check with the cashier if the order was on their dashboard and she was not able to confirm it to me!! The screen on which we place our order does not give us a receipt and the cashier was not able to give me a copy! However, it is obligatory for restaurants in Quebec to provide an invoice and a purchase receipt when paying with a credit card!! After 40 minutes I returned to the counter to get a refund, but as I didnt have a receipt to prove my purchase it was impossible! We had to raise our voices so that the manager finally came and found our order on their dashboard and finally made it for us!!! Wendys in Ancienne-Lorette, its over for us! Honestly disappointing
Visited at 1 p.m. The person who dictates the order numbers doesnt speak a drop of French. No screen to say who is needed. No receipt at automatic checkouts so dont forget your number. Very few tables. Its cold. Greasier food than the Laval Wendys franchise Ive been to recently. Modification at 9:30 p.m.: Diarrhea and vomiting from the meal 5 hours later.

Everything on the menu is simply pure delight incomparable to their competitor! I dont know why people are complaining, the deadlines are very reasonable. Yes, the employees speak Franglais, so what? You just need to know how to count to 10 and know your name with an English accent, thats all. Its brand new and in the near future, they will hire employees who speak French.
After more than an hour of waiting on a Sunday evening, I had to request a refund because I still had not received my order. They dont give any invoices and the order management is completely poor with numbers announced randomly. The employees dont speak French and there didnt seem to be anyone in charge of the restaurant. The cooks do not have beard nets and use the same gloves to handle money and food.
Honestly, nothing to say . I highly recommend. Fast and friendly service.

I know this is the opening and you will improve, but this time was not the best experience. I will come back anyway but I hope you take note of the comments and do better next time The food was perfect and very good. I had chili fries, taco salad, baconator and asiago chicken hamburger. Archie trash can full, it was freezing in the restaurant, thats why I packed everything up and it was eaten at home. The employees you hire therefore make sure that they are more enlightened. Its fast food, you cant afford to have employees so awkward in front of customers. Manager twiddling his thumbs while everyone runs. In addition he had no tact with the employees. Sir, you are the leader of the team and the person who is supposed to encourage his troops so I hope for you that you will be able to improve. I hope it gets better, good luck
20 minutes wait at the drive-thru for 3 Frostys and a Cinnabon. The drinks were surprisingly small and just foam and we were offered ketchup with our dessert? I would be curious to go back in a few months but for the moment very unimpressive

As a Quebecer, nothing annoys me more than almost impossible service for a French speaker. I understand that the supervisors probably come from the English-speaking provinces but if they are to open a business in Quebec, learning basic French is the minimum of respect. Despite other reviews, we risked trying the drive-thru. What is the point of installing a drive-thru if it is to be unable to make yourself understood over the loudspeaker. We quickly abandoned the project because I could easily see how it could become an endless service. Once inside, 1 out of 2 terminals non-functional and 3 third world employees trying to take a familys order for easily 10 minutes. To top it off, kitchen supervisors not wearing hairnets... a good plan for not setting a good example at all for their employees. Looking forward to seeing MAPAQs opinion on this business and until then I dont see this restaurant lasting long in the face of competition with such mediocre service. They were clearly not ready for the opening.

Bad service it took me 30 minutes to get my order, they made a mistake 6 times and the manager spoke English but the others didnt understand because he didnt speak English Also he charged me more than I ordered in short it ended I didnt even get the right amount that he owed me
Too many English speakers work there. The manager only speaks in English! Lots of errors in my orders due to the fact that I dont speak English. My boyfriend had to get a refund because we had finished eating and he had not yet received his order. Very slow service and dining room too small and we freeze.
Excellent. Its really full, I hope they get the message and open more in the city! haha P.S: Stop complaining that they speak in English, the running-in of the teams must be done with people from the chain. Its temporary.

I was today at 12:30 the service was very long and in the middle of Quebec the capital I was not able to get the service in French (not too normal)....when I asked my name I was told kevin , usually I dont complain too much about mistakes in my 5 letters but when this rendering tecris kavuns instead of kevin its a little insulting... yet this is the 3rd time Im going and It was good even though it just opened but today it was worse than hell as a service and while I threw it away...those who were waiting including me were there doing social work and wondering what was going on and how it was taking so long.. ..in short today I was really amateur and I hope they will correct their mistake otherwise it might not take too long before it closes....but food wise at least it was great...a bit of luck for the service and terrible time lost...
What a joy to have a Wendys in my town!! For a restaurant that has just opened I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the speed of assembling the order. However, there is one very big drawback that really bothered me: being answered in English at the counter. This is completely unacceptable in the Quebec region. Both arms fell off me. I would hope that it was someone from the Wendys corporation who came from outside to lend a hand and not an employee of this branch.

Terrible service, 10 people behind the counter, nothing moves. You wait 15 minutes for your order (there were 3 customers in the restaurant) when you finally get it... an employee fills the drink machine and you still have to wait 5 minutes. We dont come to this kind of place for the gastronomy, but to make it go quickly... Failed all the way!

Service in old-fashioned English, we will have seen it all. Very ordinary for a new chain that is setting up in Quebec. The fries were cold. There was no fruitopia even though that s what I had chosen on my order. Chaotic control system with only 2 screens. The trash cans were full, the places dirty and the bathrooms unclean. Go encourage elsewhere.

After 35 minutes of waiting, the fries are cold. The burger is average, as it seemed to have been made for a while.
I asked for coke, they gave me a cherry juice, I dont even know what it looks like, Dr. Pepper, but its not sparkling, it tastes like syrup, theres no point in going back and changing it... they dont even know their menu. always ask what number it is even though its a poutine suddenly theres no number

The meat is good, everything is hot. During your visit you will see people who speak English, it is the owners who train the new employees. You are quickly served!! But otherwise, good service and I highly recommend.
Very good for a recent opening. Indeed, customer numbers are called in English. I believe that this can be understandable for training purposes and that it partly explains the fast service since it is people from the chain who are present. That said, this will need to be adjusted while the break-in is complete. In any case, everything was excellent and served quickly despite the fact that it was crowded.

I love Wendys, my favorite fast food! I waited 1 hour at the drive-thru, unable to get out, its very poorly done + the deliveries from the listed restaurant are directly in the drive-thru. There were over 60 people inside so I decided to drive. It took 1 HOUR. This is unacceptable... placing 1 customer on the order & waiting for them to receive their bag / pay to place the order for the next one. (8min each car). I understand the restaurant has just opened & it must adjust hence why I put a 4/5 pq. NEVER in my life have I waited so long.

Manager with a big lack of professionalism and respect! After 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting, she told me that she was going to refund me, because they gave the order to someone else. She mentions that I will be served in 1 hour if I wait because I come back as a new order (so this ladys logic is to serve HER mistake last and not prioritize...) during the refund, she gives me $75 on a order of $85.50
