The food was really good. We shared an entree "pique assiette" and it was great. The chicken wings were well done and crispy on the outside. If you like your wings dry (in a good way), I highly recommend getting them. The smoked meat was super good and not fatty.

If you love smoke meat it's the place to go in l'assomption, the poutine au smoke meat is delicious! They also gave us a sample of their homemade creton au smoke meat that we now go buy, so it was an excellent sale idea. They also supported our son's hockey team which was greatly appreciated!
Well, I'm really enjoying this joint in L'Assomption. It's got great smoked meat sandwiches - rivalling the established brands from Montreal - and its local, friendly staff makes it enjoyable to wait as they prepare your order. I've had the opportunity to have either their smoked meat sandwich or smoked meat poutine during my various trips in the area, and have never been disappointed. Their meat is not too salty nor fat, or rubbery: it has a good texture that breaks nicely as you bite through it. As a bonus, they make cretons out of their left over bits of smoked meat briskets; while it might not be recommended for people who watch their salt intake, it's a great way to use smoked meat as a spread on bread...! As for an atmosphere, well, it's not a place where you'll gather for 3 hours, but it's clean and warm, so you can really enjoy a couple of hours there if you wish.

Their takeaway smoked meat cretons are simply exceptional - the flavors are rich and intense, and the quality is always consistent. But what really impressed me was their lasagna: a real explosion of flavors and textures! Every bite is pure pleasure. And to top it all off, the service is warm and attentive. The staff is always ready to make you feel welcome. I highly recommend Las du Smoked Meat to all lovers of good cuisine. You will not be disappointed! The best smoke meat I have eaten
We went for a bike ride, my partner and I, and had lunch at this restaurant, great service by Émilie, beautiful, friendly terrace, good food, reasonable price, very attractive menu, difficult to choose a meal choice, we finally chose the Smoke Meat and it was succulent bathroom very clean first visit and not the last. Absolutely worth trying.

Perfect food!! The plate of smoked meat is perfect!! Stupid Filou poutine! The smoked meat spaghetti is succulent!!! The service is really great!!! The girls are extremely friendly and welcoming!! Ive been several times and I love it!! The only reason I didnt give it 5* is that on Saturdays for some time now there has been a chansonnier, its not great. The sound is loud and the performance is really soso!!! Thursday for 5@7 is perfect...a Saturday at 6 p.m....no. I will definitely go back...but not on a Saturday evening!!! Even the Staff has difficulty hearing us order etc. But otherwise, keep up the great work!! The Assumption needs restaurant quality like you!!!

We went there 3 weeks ago and the smoked meat was excellent. We returned there on August 10, 2024 and unfortunately we noticed that they changed the type of smoked meat and it is really no longer up to standard. same as in la belle province so very disappointing it s no longer worth the detour
Worst time ever a waitress for the entire restaurant, says comes to my table and says I have 20 to 30 minutes before coming to take your order. I say Im going to go to the take-out counter and tell me it will take even longer. Ive never seen that.

Il ny avait tellement pas de viande fumée ( 1 ou 2 ) cuillère à soupe par portion que je nai aucune idée si elle est bonne. Pas certain si je vais me déplacer pour essayer leur sandwich viande fumée, il risque de nêtre quune demi portion comme le spaghettis.

The only bit of advice is to make a reservation, especially on evenings when there is a show at the Théâtre Hector Charland!
If you have the taste for good smoke meat you will be pampered! It s always delicious and the plates are provided. As they said: We got what we paid for. Italian poutine is my favorite but Im a fan of panini too. Their coleslaw is really good. Warm atmosphere, the staff is always super kind and attentive. For a small dinner as a couple or with friends, this is the place to go. I recommend

Le As is an institution in LAssomption and our favorite GoTo for this type of menu. The staff is very courteous and friendly and the food extremely fast and tasty. I highly recommend the European hotdog.
Every time we go to see a show at the theater we go to eat before...the food is excellent the service despite the busyness is polite, fast and efficient and very accommodating! I recommend without hesitation

Want a good smoke meat? This is the restaurant to please you in Lanaudière. Right in the center of the town center of Assomption. A small restaurant...yes, but delicious. Very good service. But, busy. Normal, its good. The salad is fresh, the fries delicious too.

Ive been wanting a good smoke meat for a while. It was good but without more I didnt find the spices and the taste that I loved so much in a smoke meat. The smoke meat experiment did not take place. Like in my youth At The King of Smoke Meat Or at Swartz it is not beaten On the other hand, it was a takeaway meal and I live far away so surely on site would have been really better and less soft, I admit my mistake. On the other hand, the taste would not change. Fast, friendly service and generous portion but tastes are natural.

Probably the best Smoked meat sandwich Ive eaten in my life. Nice place, nice decor and good service. If I have one negative thing to say, the fries are frozen fries. For my part I like house much better. Obviously it s unique to everyone.

I returned it because the first time I had an Italian smokemeat poutine which was excellent. But the second time the smokemeat was cut too thin and not enough sauce it was dry.
