Malgré qu il ne prenne pas les réservations, nous avons été traités comme des rois même si le resto était bondé! L hôtesse nous a gentiment proposé deux places au bar comme il n y avait pas de table de dispo. Nous avons donc pris un petit apéro avant d avoir notre table! C était super! Un très beau resto, avec de la bonne bouffe et des serveuses souriantes!

Very comfortable and very warm place! The food is really very fresh and tastes really good!! I am very proud to have gotten down on one knee to propose at this restaurant for Valentines Day!! The owner himself came to congratulate us and informed us that we were THE FIRST to have requested an engagement in his restaurant since its opening and that he was very delighted, he even gave us 2 pink scooters ;)) ....so Gentlemen and Madam who will be the 2nd :) to make THIS request to Master Edgar!! You have 3 tables for 4 people available.... you refuse them to me, there are 2 of us. Valentines Day 2 days ago that maybe we wanted to be 2.... vice accepts us on a table of 4. My partner is too small to eat at the bar and I am not the person you are aiming for in your answer. Reading your answers, you are the only master on board.... you are never wrong. Best wishes.....

Not being on my first visit, having noticed that it was clearly no longer sirloin in the burger although still on the menu, that the homemade poutine was more suitable for a child...which are not welcome, I had the surprise of being offered the bar for dinner because there were only two of us even though tables for 4 were available. I am very disappointed. Really. I will go visit the restaurateurs who treat everyone with the same respect I can t imagine if I had been alone!

The perfect place for a work party, a dinner or a drink with friends and your boyfriend. All occasions are good to eat their delicious and surprising meals or drink an excellent beer on tap. The master is the place! The service is always impeccable. 12/10

I was on the terrace. I didnt see the interior but the food was excellent. The wait was a little long because there was a group but we were in no hurry. The waitress was really nice, smiling and attentive.

I chose this restaurant for a mother/son evening because we were going to see a show at the Hector Charland Theater. It was only a few steps away and whats more, the restaurant is named after my paternal grandfather! We loved it! Everything was delicious, the atmosphere on the terrace was pleasant and relaxed. The bill was steep but it was worth the price! We will definitely return!

I was especially disappointed with the price, a small tray of fries is $9 while next door is $3.5 for the same quantity. I ordered a cocktail for $14 and they brought me a very small glass with a quarter of foam and judging by the taste there was a thimble of alcohol. Its not worth $14, I told the waiter that I was expecting a larger glass given the price, youll see its loaded... whats this response.

Impossible to reserve and the waitress is unable to estimate the waiting time In response to your response: I lamented the fact of not being able to book, I did not say that I was not informed. Not taking a reservation is a choice that is yours and is legitimate. But in doing so, you limit your customer base to your industry. We came expressly to taste your menu, the person on the phone having told us that there would be no problem even without a reservation. Once there, the waitress was unable to give an estimate of the waiting time (Im talking about an approximation, I know very well that she cannot guarantee me a table in 23 minutes 12 seconds, she has no crystal ball.) We would have happily waited, we had traveled FOR your restaurant after all, but not for hours, hence the request for an estimate. The rating given represents the experience; notice that I took care not to note the different elements. I find it legitimate to deplore the impossibility of booking and the lack of anticipation from the staff, others in our situation will know what to expect. I hope your local popularity continues, the place seems charming, but not being from the region, I wont run the risk of being met with an I dont know again. »

Beautiful little bistro in the heart of LAssomption, fairly typical menu for this type of establishment, no surprises... beer menu ok nothing more. good point to highlight the pretty decor and the smiling and courteous service of our waitress.

We came for my partners birthday in November, I had the gnocchi which were delicious as well as the speculoos tiramisu for dessert!

Je me suis présentée dans cet établissement à 16:15 pour prendre un verre avec une amie et nos deux bébés. Il y avait alors à peine 4 tables de prises. La réceptionniste nous a dit qu il n y avait pas de place pour nous car elle avait des réservations 1.5heure plus tard. Elle ne nous a jamais laissé expliquer que nous ne voulions que prendre un verre avant le rush du souper.

Excellent! Sought after, quality, delicious and affordable menu. We had the cod accras as a starter, delicious! For main meal I had the fishn fries and my boyfriend had the beef poutine. We were not disappointed!

Understaffed, the poor waiter was overworked, running around and its not very relaxing. Frequent forgetting and shortages due to work overload and surely a lack of organization. Average meal, very very salty and very little lamb in the dish. I wouldnt go back.

Very clean, we ate fabulous fish and chips, plate of cold meats and cheese as well as red sangria. I highly recommend this pub. Ask the server about other meals that are not on the menu. Nice surprise too because they have microbrewery beers.

The fish & chips looked really good, Im jealous I didnt try it! The atmosphere is good, reminiscent of the author EAP here and there, the service is superb, a lovely evening with friends, but above all: the breaded cheese curds are a magnificent and succulent idea! To try! Oh yes, theres good beer too, but hey, Im sure there are plenty of other comments talking about that, I wanted to do something different!
