I visited this restaurant hoping to enjoy a good poutine, but it turned out to be a huge letdown. While the fries were well-cooked and had a nice texture, the oil they used smelled old and off-putting. The worst part was that they clearly cheaped out on the cheese and gravy, making the whole dish bland and unsatisfying. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality. To top it off, the staff was unfriendly and seemed uninterested in providing good service. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

Honestly, I have never seen such a small portion for a large poutine, plus it is more expensive than other good pros with appropriate portions.
Ive been there twice now and it wasnt great the last time I think someone dropped the salt shaker in our hot dogs (we all threw it away) and now Im not able to make a pita like everyone else Really more and more disappointed

Disappointing I had a smoke meat poutine, the smoke meat wasnt good but it was a small cube, almost a scrap of smoke meat, I got a bit of fat in the meat and cut it clean. I dont recommend the place really disappointed but on the other hand the Simpson wall is very beautiful

The staff was very friendly. The fries were good. But the cheese on the grill cheese had hard edges as if poorly packaged for the fridge and it wasnt the only slice like that because I saw them put together a cheese and the cheese with the same head. And what about the price, its really not cheap when you see that the steamed trio 2 is 10.99. So Im disappointed

Very disappointed to have noticed the increase in the abusive price, almost $16 Poutine and only 1 hot dog with liquor on tap. Its over, Im not going there anymore! There is quality that exists for restaurateurs in the choice of fries and cheese curds, if that would still be the case!

I find that the quality of the food is no longer there. The fries are greasy and soft, imagine, in a restaurant where fries are the basis of all meals. Prices are high for what you get.
I loved the place for poutine. However, I believe that the price increase is excessive and the quality reduced. $11.20 for a regular poutine with very little cheese and very little sauce. Also, there werent many people when I was there, so the fries were reheated. My money will go elsewhere. For me, LeGardeurs is 100 times better in terms of quality.

Its the atmosphere of a beautiful province, its always good and the service is exemplary! Kid-friendliness: There is a small childrens park right next to La Queue de Castor and La belle province, I find it very cute!

A beautiful retro-style square with the flavor of the beautiful provinces as we have known them for so many years. All the essentials of the genre are on the menu, they are good and the place is clean... A must when you have business at the Assomption.
