The meals are excellent and its clean. The fries are some of the best Ive eaten in my life. Unfortunately, its not worth the lack of space to lock a bike and the employees were arguing among themselves the whole time I was there. Very uncomfortable. I dont know if it was me who was unlucky, but my partner wanted to surprise me as a person with severe gluten and lactose intolerance. We went to lassom, he ordered a small regular poutine for him and a small gluten-free and lactose-free poutine for me with a gluten-free pogo. Accuracy was requested at the checkout when ordering, precautions were taken, people went behind in the second kitchen, the bag was identified as gluten-free and lactose-free. Unfortunately, during the night and the next day, I spent face to face with my toilet. After reading the comments and reviews, I wonder if its just me who was unlucky or just that they got the two types of poutine wrong.

To eat one of the best, if not the best poutine in Quebec, this is the place to go. The restaurant, which looks like a 1950s restaurant, is located at 339 boulevard de lAnge-Gardien in lAssomption. Believe me, the detour is worth it. Parking: Parking is located at the rear of the establishment.

I was looking for a place to eat between Montreal and Trois-Rivières. Being celiac, its not easy to find a meal on the road. I went to this place and the SG poutine is excellent! Good portion of cheese as we like. And I had a piece of GF chômeur pudding (not always available) I hadnt eaten this dessert for years. Thanks to the lady who served me, very kind! I go to this restaurant regularly because I find that this place makes the best Poutine in Quebec with products from the Lanaudière region. After discussing with the owner my passion for smoke meat that I was going to eat at a place in the east of the city of Montreal, he convinced me to taste his baked SMOKE MEAT! WOW SIMPLY WOW one of the very good smoke meats if not the best snack in Lanaudière or even Montreal Metro. Its a must!

I loved my experience, its the only place I know that offers poutine with lactose-free cheese! In a word I love it!

I park my vehicle at the back and book at the Assom restaurant. I have dinner at the lassom restaurant, then me and my friends cross onto the terrace of the fermenter which is located in the same parking lot. And the owner of the assom has my car towed lets encourage local.... He just lost 5 customers as a result.

So much the best gluten-free poutine! We drive to Montreal to eat it, it s definitely worth it :)

We took the trouble to order online so it would be ready in time when we went to pick up the order. We arrived 5 minutes before the time indicated by them and nothing was ready. They said they were waiting for us to arrive to start cooking?!?! (Isnt that the point of ordering in advance?) In short, the service needs to be reconsidered. Also, the food is okay, nothing more. The poutine sauce is way too runny. The hamburger bun is super dry. There is a lack of taste in several dishes. I wont go back there.

Im not the owner of the restaurant And Im not a fan of Mr Legault is an understatement because Im really not a fan. But the poutine at LAssom is VERY good and above that, of course, me and the Prime Minister agree. (probably the first time this has happened.) Mr. MARTEL the owner did not have to suffer the wrath of Mr. Legaults opponents. And I find it cheap in the end. It must be a group of Solidarity who uses the Internet to do what they cannot do in politics, which is change.
