We did business with the restaurant for a catering menu for an event and the food was simply excellent. The service was exemplary! When I return to the Bay I will definitely eat there!

Excellent restaurant in La Baie, among the best in Saguenay! The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and a very special character. However, book in advance. The place is small and is often full. Its a bit of a shame that you cant reserve a place online.

We went there on Wednesday for dinner. There were 2 of us and we enjoyed it. Reasonable price. The 2 starters, pickles and black pudding, were delicious. The hamburger with fries and the other with salad very good. We found the portions very reasonable. Good service. We also really liked the decor and the atmosphere. It was very quiet and we could hear each other talking as we passed by.

We were a group of 7 and everyone enjoyed their dish. The quantities were sufficient, so we didnt try the desserts. The service was very friendly. We recommend.

Good service, good atmosphere, we had the pesto paste dish (menu of the day) and stir-fried Thai shrimp. Very good and good portions.

Very nice place with many good dishes, but the quantities of dishes are incredibly small. I finished my general tao in 20 butcher (less than 5 minutes). The dish cost me $25 for 300g of rice, a little vegetable stir-fry and 4 chicken meatballs, thats really not much food. On the other hand, the service is impeccable and the dish is very good.

My friend and I were looking for a place to have dinner before going on a hiking trip. We were welcomed warmly. Most of the dishes looked tempting. The duck confit was delicious. My friend had a dessert of the day and was not disappointed.

Very nice place. The staff is welcoming and courteous. We were three people. A few negative points mean that I give it a rating of 2. My starter of home fries was lukewarm, the main course, general tao chicken... thats where I had a surprise. Small portion of rice with a slightly too spicy sauce, a few snow peas, leeks cut into strips and slices of carrots. And the worst is General Taos chicken. I didnt dare believe it. Chicken nuggets like they serve in fast food restaurants. The ones from McDonalds are even better. How can a restaurant like Opia serve croquettes like general tao chicken ? Plus, my coffee was lukewarm. I didnt have dessert, fearing once again that I would be disappointed. The next day, still disappointed, I went to Panda Royal in Chicoutimi-Nord (Chinese restaurant) to get a dish of general tao chicken. It was delicious.

An excellent dinner, there were 4 of us, everything was delicious. The General Thao chicken , the seafood linguine , the seafood chowder , and the crème brûlée duo dessert everything was delicious. A very efficient and friendly service. Nice atmosphere. I recommend it to you.

We visited this restaurant for a special occasion. The service was excellent, always present and attentive. The menu on site is still a little limited but offers choice for all tastes. The disappointment was with the meals. I asked several times what the crust was on their pizzas and was told thin crust but not too thin. It was more of a very thin and dry pita bread. Although the pizza, very small for the asking price, was very good, I was disappointed when I saw it appear on my plate, be warned. My partner ordered the Tartare and the meal portion is equivalent to the starter portion found elsewhere, accompanied by a bland salad with almost no vinaigrette. For $28, they can do better. We will stay elsewhere on our next visit to La Baie.

Very good meal and service. The table dhôte offers varied and delicious dishes without being too large for a midday meal. We will come back in the evening to find out the rest of the menu. The interior is warm, there is a small terrace in front.

Im disappointed...A small flank steak and 2/3 fries on the plate...No vegetables on the side...Not visually inviting...and too expensive. On the other hand, the service was excellent and the flank steak was very good.

A crowd of artists and personalities stopped there. In the Bay, this restaurant is worth the detour. Everything is delicious. We are working to promote regional products, particularly cheeses. Very good service and in summer, the beautiful terrace is inviting.

Very ordinary service! Avoid if you really want to have a great evening! Our service was particularly difficult. The waitress was cold and stupid, like she literally quickly took away the wine list from us, without asking us if we wanted any, without us having time to say anything. Waitress answered our questions curtly! I still dare to hope that this is an isolated case! Decent food, nothing more.

Dont worry about Jonathan Duponts opinion, he is never satisfied with any restaurant! Besides, Google should no longer allow him to give his opinion on their site! Hes undesirable!
