Only order espressos, they dont know how to do anything with foam properly! The place is dirty. They should change the chairs. Old, uncomfortable and dangerous! They are all broken and taped up.

Mous avons eu droit a du saumon congelé, des tartines complement raté et un service catastrophique. Nous sommes conscients que c est des petits jeunes, mais les gestionnaires devraient y penser avant de sacrifier la belle réputation de ce café.

Small cafe in the old neighborhood of La Prairie, they have a few games you can play, a terrace in front and back (the one in the back is covered) and the service is perfect. Very nice experience, we plan to come back Dietary restrictions: They have lactose-free milk and cheese, not soy or almond replacements, but real 2% lactose-free milk.

Great place that we just discovered. Very good food, great little bistro, relaxed atmosphere. The 2 people at the entrance were smiling, patient and took the time to explain how it worked. Very pleasant customer service. We will return there often.

Warm, rural atmosphere, view of the church and ancestral buildings of the neighborhood, simple and tasty dishes, fast service, several choices of food and drinks depending on our mood. Sometimes there are special events. It is next to the church square where there are the Jeudis du Vieux La Prairie show evenings. It is also a perfect place to stop for hikers, being located close to the cycle path and the river. Its a bright place with quality waitresses. Vegetarian options: Wraps, grilled cheese, drinks, desserts Parking: The pretty streets of Vieux La Prairie are accessible and there is also parking for everyone. Kid-friendliness: There are little games for children.

Peaceful place

Cute place, lots of choices for food, family friendly. One huge star knocked off for two things: 1) ordered tea that came in the tiniest pot, no cream/milk or sugar on the side 2) ordered a sandwich that was pretty much just bread. We went to the front to ask to add more prosciutto inside... It came with one tiny slice that didnt even cover the whole sandwich, and two dallops of cheese. They added one tiny slice....to only half the sandwich! What do you even say at that point? It was nice for a one time visit but we wont be back based on our experience. Hopefully it was just on account of the person working at the time.

Very good coffee and food but terrible service. When we arrived (4 p.m.) we were told that they only served drinks and desserts, in a very frustrated tone. I ask if they make smoothies and we answer, with a tone of discouragement, uh ok. I think we can go and have our coffee elsewhere, like at Lapostrophe or Webster where the service is at a higher level. Unfortunate.

I love showing this place to my friends who come from other municipalities. Everyone loves it I always have to bring my boyfriend a sandwich if I go without him everything is delicious, the price is right. Quality products and service. Well done to the whole team!

It s a nice place to have a coffee and a light meal. The pastries seem to be of good quality. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of our order. Onion soup had no broth and the taste was not there, the cheese was dry due to the quality of the cheese chosen. So very disappointed I took a small legume salad which was very small for the price. I ordered a matcha tea latte which I returned because there wasnt much marcha tea powder. They made me a new one but it was the same thing. The powder ended up at the bottom because we didnt mix it enough before adding the milk, which by the way was powdered milk. I would have had a pastry but we waited at the cash register watching the employees do other tasks without looking at us. So I decided to cancel my order. The priority is not customer service, which is a shame.

I usually go with my son on bikes to this cute and cozy café, and we enjoy a very good variety of bakery products and hot & cold beverages, not to mention the welcoming staff and the good service!

Exceptional customer service! The coffee of the day/selection of the moment is excellent and comforting. A big 10/10!

The BBP sandwich is very good - the maple cranberry bread is magnificent. Their QG salad is also very good, the chili peppers compliment the dressing very well. I had the house iced tea, which was good but a bit pricey.

The HQ waffles are just perfect! The sandwiches are superb and the atmosphere is really nice.

Really a very nice café in the old town of La Prairie. When I went there it was quite busy but the service was very efficient and I didnt wait long. The coffee is really good, as are the things to eat. Courteous, efficient and smiling service. #: espresso, Mocha, Cappuccino, bagel, pastries, Loop, breakfast sandwich.

I adore this place. Everything from the location, food and service is just excellent !

Coffee, sandwiches, desserts, etc. are available. Everything is delicious there. Its a calm, super warm and at the same time dynamic place. Several board games are available for all ages. The best bistro/cafe on the South Shore without a shadow of a doubt.

I enjoyed some sweet time with my daughter before taking her to her summer camp not so far away for coffee. I bought a vanilla iced coffee and I really liked it! Not too sweet like the other places so the coffee taste was still able to stand out. Im not in this area often but its definitely worth the time to stop by for a coffee and say hello to the team :)

The manager Marie-eve is the most unprofessional and rude person that I ever met. I go to this place a lot and bring many customers. My family are restaurant owners and I am a manager at a big bank. If the owners keep this manager they will lose lots of business. I would love to speak to the owners to warn them about how this person is killing their business with her lack of motivation to work and unprofessionalism. I love this place and I would be sad to see this place go down because this manger doesn t care at all and is basically making the clients go away. She basically throw us out of the restaurant in the most impolite way because we were 9 people. If she would have told us that she can t accommodate and we should go to another place we would have completely understand. She let another employee sat us down and when we came in she saw that we are 9 people. After 20 minutes that we were sitting down with kids she came to us and told us that we can t sit there and change our place and told us that she can give us a place only for 6 and doesn t care if we are 9 people. When I told she should speak to us a bit nicer she said she doesn t care and we should leave and when I told her that I bring a lot of customers she said that she doesn t care. She used the I don t care phrase at least 10 times in our 5 minutes conversation. I really feel bad for the owners and I hope that they do something about Marie-eve.

Terrible experience! All the personal is very kind except for the older woman that works during the Thursday morning. She came to me with a plate that I didn t order (the waitress made a mistake ) and she was talking me in French with a terrible attitude knowing that I don t speak French yet. I was calm and respectful all the time, another waiter helped me, he was nice but this woman was making a show in the restaurant , even the other clients was looking at me as sorry for me to be in that situation , because she was talking bad about me.

Will surely go bk this summer again.

I tried their Choco-Mint Latte, and its the best latte Ive ever had. It drips milk, mint, chocolate. As promised. Delicious! As well as their sandwiches. The atmosphere is so warm, the employees friendly. Our baby was starting to be uncomfortable, and they brought us some toys. It feels good to have such great service. Atmosphere, food, employees. 5 . I cant wait to go back!

A gem! I loved it and will go back. Huge crush on this café, its staff and its little treasures sprinkled everywhere...special note at the tables with the inlaid board game plates - brilliant. Definitely worth the detour.

I went there often and the quality of the food and service was always there, but I was very disappointed during my last visit. First of all, there was no reception when I arrived. No hello, no mask smile even though I was the only customer to order. Also, I paid $12.50 for a latte and a scone and that seems like an excessive price to me. I even made the young woman who served me repeat it to make sure there was no mistake. When I opened my gingerbread latte once on the road, I was surprised by its heady scent. The young woman seemed to have improvised the recipe (although it was basic) and to have spilled too much spice liquid in it. As a result, the coffee was undrinkable. The scone was delicious. Fortunately! Its certain that I will give the HQ another chance, which I really like, but another disappointment of this type and I dont think I will have the means to pay so much to be disappointed.

The old stone general store in the historic neighborhood made into a charming café/bistro. The picture shows the inner courtyard, equally charming in the summertime. My companion and I each had a delicious hot chocolate. She had a very fresh date square; I, a warm pecan square such as Ive never had before. Historic artifacts throughout the building made the visit well worthwhile.
