A&W Canada in La Prairie

My 12 year old child didnt get his free dinner on Halloween and time says that the others do after us and before us and he gives us the same excuses

Promotion not respected. We took a big detour to finish our trick-or-treating with the free meal advertised everywhere for Halloween. They refused to grant it on the pretext that it was too late, 7:40 p.m.... It sucks apart from the question of cut-off times. The display above the checkouts still announces it. Very frustrating and probably illegal. We left without eating, we go elsewhere and they probably lost customers.

The coffee and hot chocolate were bland and watery.

A little disappointed if I compare with other A&Ws. Very long to get my meal and we were alone! For the rest...its still like the others.

Food was ok. The employees who provide the service are nice but do not have a net on their heads and have long hair. I thought it was obligatory but Im wrong p-e. Its a place near a high school so a lot of young people at dinner time.

They dont have air conditioning

Horrible lunch at this rental. Order a special gourmet lunch, the toasts dont have butter. I politely ask to make them again and they come back without butter again. They gave me a small cup with margarine in it so that I could butter it myself. Margarine?? Ive had lunch at A&W for 25 years and have never needed to butter my toast or had margarine instead of buttering it. Almost charred bacon.

Inexperienced staff. Issues with forgetting items in the order, including utensils. Food was cold by the time we got everything. The service is only decent weekday mornings

Ate hamburgers around 2 p.m. today, the staff got the order wrong twice; everything was cold and it tasted nothing. Also the staff didnt seem to understand the language, everything had to be translated from Spanish to French and even then??? Not cleaner than it should be and surely the kitchen must not have been very clean either because we were both sick. Never again will we return to A& W, certainly not in Laprairie

No answers drive thru, uncooked food, I had food poisoning, lawsuit pending, dont go there even if you are starving, your life is worth more...

Twice my order has been mixed. They added bacon to my beyond meat burger. I had to go back to get it replaced. I shouldnt be wasting my time going back and forth.

Oh my god, terrible service and way below average food at an A&W! If the person behind the microphone took the time to listen to the people ordering and not do 10 things at the same time, that would avoid errors on the order. The fries were cold so were the onion rings. Its not bad in the worst A&W Ive ever been to.

Bring your coat! In the middle of January, the temperature was around 13C inside the restaurant. The employee had to work with her coat and scarf. Apparently, the bosses can t turn up the heat. I had to eat my burger quickly to prevent it from getting cold.

They should review their opening hours. Weirdly we wanted to have breakfast there.

Even the Google Map page reminds you how good the new frozen root beer is?? But dont worry because the A&W La Prairie doesnt have one so you can remain in total ignorance during an entire summer advertising campaign

June 7, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. Only 1 person serving and 1 in the kitchen. The poor people are overwhelmed, but they remain very polite and apologize all the time for the wait, you are lucky to have employees like that, try to keep them.

I visit this place regularly but today, cold fries, really cold, completely bland fountain drink. .. I didnt like my visit!

We had a hard time with the language barrier , the cashier did not try to help us with suggestions for our meal. Coffee was expired. Vegetarian options: The Beyond meat is a great option.

Aucune attente au service au volant et jai été servi environ en 2 min. ! Cela méritait vraiment le terme Fast food et dans mes propres termes de fanatique de voitures Pit stop à la Nascar !

Good morning. We went to the drive-thru today, December 8th around 2:00 p.m. We ask for a baby cheese and a mozzarella. We receive a baby cheese no cheese and another sandwich which is clearly not a mozzarella. $12 for water. Very disappointed

One employee has no mask, the other 3 masks down almost on the mouth, we are still in the middle of the 5th wave, no respect for people, the young person at the checkout has the mask on his upper lip! The liquor tastes like water.

I showed up at the drive-thru at 9:30 p.m. for a mozza burger, a slice and their legendary root beer. What a disappointment, the burger was completely cold and not edible and the slice was super salty, like after two mouthfuls my heart was racing. On the other hand the root beer was good. I will never go there again... Too bad

$28 for two teen burger combos with onion rings! That would be less than $20 at Wendys. Onion rings were undervalued and soft.

Je viens dy aller et bien que la salle à manger sout ouverte et quil ny plus dobligation de porter le masque les toilettes sont fermées avec pleins de chaises et barricadés avec mention toilettes fermées . Jai demandé pourquoi elles étaient fermées et la préposée ma répondu que cétait à cause des étudiants qui avaient bloqué les toilettes. Pas sûr !

I always enjoy a good hamburger as well as fries and onion rings, except that we couldnt with our Root Beer in the good cold bucks unfortunately. As a poor excuse, we cant use them, because we are going to renovate the restaurant so lets see...

If I could rate lower I would, every single time I ve ordered from this location there has been some screw up! I just received a mama burger AGAIN with cheese, a chicken burger with no mayo and absolutely flavourless fries. This is the worst location I ve ever encountered

Seriously I dont know what to say about this place... Food is good, no problems But the customer service is some of the worst I have seen. They often have promotions on coffees ($1) and if we dont tell them, they charge us the full price.? And they no longer put milk in the coffee, they give us cups (not really advantageous on the road) And they often have discount coupons and they rarely go to the right price and then they tell us that we are wrong. No matter how much I make web complaints, they offer me a slipper..? It s a bit of a laugh from the customers Customer service is very poorly managed. If the person takes the trouble to make a complaint and you admit that you were wrong to offer them something that makes sense... its a question of principle.

Always a good restaurant usually but there was an employee who was not wearing his mask in the kitchen and it is very disappointing because all the staff are working to be covid proof. And there is one who does his own thing and gives a bad image to a restaurant that is not in his business. In my opinion, its a bit dull because we all want it to end but that doesnt reassure the customers who are more fearful.
