208 Rue Ste Marie, La Prairie, Quebec J5R 1G2, Canada
Charming little inn in a quiet community, only 15-20 minutes from downtown Montreal! The room was perfect for us! Rebecca greeted us upon arrival and brought us extra towels. Great coffee and breakfast right downstairs, in the cafe! We will be back! 5 stars!
Nice, quiet place to stay. Shared kitchen. And you'll need some French to work through getting the code for the keybox from the owner.
Pleasant well equipped kitchenette units. Most pleasant quiet sleep. Private porch. Cute special spaces for every size.
This was our first time at the Inn. It will not be our last. You are minutes away from downtown Montreal as well as many local spots. The shared kitchen was perfect for making your meals if you like. The café just below was amazing!! We shall visit once again soon.
We stayed for 4 nights in the loft. This is a very comfortable place to stay with a lot of attention to detail. The owner has put a lot of thought into this for guests. This is one of the very best places we've stayed at.
My family of 4 from the US enjoyed our stay here. I'm glad we ventured outside of Montreal (about 15 minute eady drive) because we felt immersed in a charming , quiet, historic part of town. We stayed in "Latte", on the top floor, which gave each of us a lot of room to spread out. It had a separate bedroom area, for parental privacy. The kitchenette proved helpful and was well-stocked. There was also a comfy living room area, with another comfortable queen bed and a fun hammock and even a porch. Tastefully decorated with wood antiques. It was perfect for our 5 night stay. The cafe below (same owner) served delicious sandwiches and coffee and had a friendly bilingual staff. Just note that being a historic building, the stairwells are narrow. To top it off, the price was very reasonable, especially when you are getting a beautiful apartment for 1/3 the price of a downtown Montreal shoebox-size hotel room. We highly recommend this lovely establishment and we will return again when visiting our nearby family.
The room was clean. The neighbourhood was very interesting and beautiful. There are only 3 rooms, separate from each other and it was very quiet. There is a cute balcony that can be accessed. It is great for longer stays, but for short stays like one or two days, it could be very challenging to commute to Montreal with the traffic. One disappointment is the room is very dark at night. I think the rooms are better suited for families or several families travelling together.
I stay here every now and then for work and I really enjoy the Macchiato room. The room is private, has all necessities, and is always clean. The only thing I would say is be prepared for a very hands off check in and check out, but that is fine by me. The area around the Auberge is a really nice place to visit especially in the winter.
Wow!! I was charmed by this Airbnb style hostel! The room was spacious and clean. The location is ideal. And it s really not expensive! I will definitely go back!
Beautiful, very stylish place, unfortunately the room was not very clean... There were fries under the bed and dust on the furniture... We were disturbed by children at 6:00 in the morning.
Nice little place
Very nice place! We loved it and we will definitely come back! Very very warm welcome, extremely friendly and attentive staff! Our very comfortable room, shared kitchen: very good idea!
The hostel is very very beautiful, very pleasant! We only spent two nights there but would have stayed more than a week without any worries! The café downstairs is a plus, it s very welcoming and it s extremely cool to go down a flight of stairs to find a breakfast on the terrace! The little notes left everywhere by the owners increase the charm of this inn, you feel very welcome and very comfortable there. A very small downside, we were not motorized and bus/metro travel is not the quickest or most accessible. The neighborhood is very bucolic, it has very good vibes
An excellent address: we loved the town of La Prairie, a little away from Montreal and very pretty, and had an excellent stay in the hostel: super spacious and comfortable room, great shared kitchen, access to a small terrace. It was perfect! The welcome is also very friendly and the prices very reasonable. Thanks for everything! Rooms: Very spacious room, excellent quality mattress
Julie Salaun 5/5 right now on Google Excellent stay in this hostel located in a very pretty village, the room was very clean. The coffee below is great, especially the cakes the staff is very friendly.
Place, very clean, very peaceful, seriously I recommend it without hesitation and the pillows are so comfortable
Excellent coffee and fresh, original sandwiches (pistachio bread is so yummy)
Excellent hostel. I stayed there with my wife and we were delighted. Rebeccas welcome was wonderful, the rooms were clean, large, identical to the photos! And what about the wonderful coffee just below. So practical!
Everything was perfect! From the arrival, with Rebecca and her superb smile, to the two nights spent in this wonderful attic room, ending with a good coffee just below the hostel!!!
Super well located and super clean hostel
Very nice place tastefully decorated. We had a great weekend there and Rebecca, the owner, was very attentive and took care of us wonderfully.
We stayed a few days in the Auberge du QG. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. Our host was welcoming and warm and attentive to our needs. The location is great, in the center of the beautiful historical center of La Prairie. We will definitely go back! We stayed for several days in a room in the HQ hostel. The room was spacious and very comfortable, our hosts, for whom hospitality is second nature, were attentive to our every need. The inn is located in the historic center of old La Prairie. A positive experience that we will not fail to try again!
Very pleasant welcome, ideal location to enjoy the charm of this picturesque town and the surrounding area. Possibility of eating right next door in a very friendly atmosphere. We look forward to returning
