Bacaro Pizzeria in La Prairie

We were a group of 16 for a birthday & we had a great evening! The location, the menu, the staff 5 without hesitation! Thanks again for the excellent evening! Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access for a person with a disability, both for parking and for the restaurant which is on one level!

Rather quiet for a Wednesday, great service and our dishes arrived hot. I like their new food choices.

Last weekend, my mother asked me for a specific dish for her birthday: pizza with prosciutto and arugula. I then ordered this pizza (as well as two other pizzas, a pasta dish and a soft drink - order of $108) at Bacaro de La Prairie. After picking up the order and taking it home, I realize that they not only forgot to give us the soft drink (which was allegedly in the bag), but also to put the prosciutto on their clearly named Arugula Prosciutto pizza. . So I had to call 4 times to resolve the situation (proof on my phone). Initially, the managers plan was to simply deliver the prosciutto to us. I had to explain that it was quite absurd for us to pay almost $30 for a cold pizza, considering that we had to wait for her to deliver the prosciutto almost an hour after receiving the order. Following the fourth call, and after hanging up on me at least twice, she agreed to deliver us a new pizza. Once we arrived, she insisted that we return the original pizza to prove to her cooks that they had forgotten to put the prosciutto on the pizza. Absolutely stunned by her lack of professionalism, we asked her what she could offer us to remedy the situation. So she took out a $10 Bacaro gift card, then literally ran away with the initial pizza to avoid any conversation. Once we opened the box of the new pizza, we noticed that they only put TWO slices of prosciutto on the pizza. I was very upset to hear my mother say that her pizza tasted nothing short of horrible. Having worked in customer service all my life, including in the restaurant industry, I am extremely disappointed and disconcerted by the horrible service at Bacaro La Prairie.

Eating there is even better than ordering. We had the pizza with burrata and it was absolutely delicious, their cocktail was good. The only point is that I improved the choice of plates + the type of table, the materials are not compatible which means that the plates slide on the table when you eat. Otherwise everything was absolutely perfect I recommend the friendly service.

I ordered pizza and arancini. My order took 1.5 hours to arrive. I called to tell them, they washed their hands of it because according to what they told me once it is in the hands of the delivery person it could not be our fault. I imagine it must be the delivery guy who helped himself to my box of arancini? And who stole a slice of mortadella from my rock-hard pizza? A girl is tired of making people laugh at her

They have a bunch of interesting ingredients, but the quality of the final product is lacking. Feels like I overpaid for what I got. Service was quick, but I definitely wouldnt order from here again.

The Margarita pizza is delicious. The childrens dishes are excellent too, especially with the little nutella donuts. The price asked for the quality is more than reasonable! I recommend this place without hesitation!

Excellent pizza cooked in a wood oven. Smiling and dynamic staff. Beautiful attention paid to the decor which transports us. The only downside was that it was very hot in the restaurant when we went.

Never order from this restaurant... ever. If you eat there, no problem since youre present, you wont get cheated. I ordered a margarita pizza yesterday and I received a pizza that I couldnt even tell you what pizza it was and crushed in the corner of the box. Out of respect I call the restaurant instead of a Dordash complaint but no one answers.. They closed. The next day I called and asked to speak to the owner of the restaurant. A young girl answers me and confirms that she is the owner. (After my research, they told me that it is impossible because he is a man) and she tells me that if I am not happy it is not to them that I should make a complaint but to Dordash because its no longer on their side should I conclude that dordash cook the food for them. I am totally insulted. First of all, I could never take my employees to this restaurant and I could never refer it to my customers. END THIS LACK OF RESPECT. ***I didnt take a photo because no one could have recognized that it was a pizza.***

A good variety in terms of menu. Excellent and fast service. The meals are delicious and different from what you find elsewhere. More of a restaurant-bar atmosphere, therefore quite noisy. We really enjoyed our visit!

The Pizza came in fast, however the crust was completely wet which made the experience super unpleasant. For the price of these pizzas, I m expecting a good crust and toppings.

We waited 45 minutes to get our pizza with the crust burnt. This seems like a scam because when you wait, you consume more alcoholic beverages which are not given. It seems that take out has priority in this restaurant. Very disappointed with the managers reaction in giving us a gift card for our next visit of $10.00 in 2023, thats peanuts! For poutine and pizza for two and alcoholic drinks at 143.00 with tax, think twice before going back!

Great place to have a quick lunch and sit n chat. Was not super busy. ZaZa Pizza i ordered was perfect. Crust was real nice. 950 for a lunchtime pint was a bit much..but these are the times. Would Recommend

We had called to have our order prepared as we needed to pick up another order at another restaurant first. We were told 30 minutes and when we arrived it wasnt ready. We had to wait 20 more minutes

Simple but very good Italian pasta served hot. Tried their gnocchi, the sauce and pasta together went well. Will try other dishes. They also open everyday and close late which can be an option if we eat late. Food

Excellent meal and very good variety of meals. The only downside is that the quantity/price cannot be compared. Small quantity for a big price. :)

The food is good and tasty. Wood oven Crust is perfect. This time the wait time for pickup is less than 5 minutes... but they miss including something and we should return for pickup. Normally time management is bad and even if you planned 3 hours prior to the pickup you will wait at least 8-15 minutes before going home with your food. Probably they try to make everything ready and hot at the same time, but never see it in years. Its probably difficult to do.

The pizza and sangria were delicious! We went there one afternoon with the office to celebrate and we were on the terrace. The atmosphere was great and even though it was sunny and hot, the umbrellas made it comfortable!

I had already picked up an order to bring The pizzas were excellent. Yesterday, I went there for dinner with a friend and I must add that the service is also excellent there The quality of the pizzas (ingredients) were to our complete satisfaction

We waited 1.5 hours before having our main meal. When we finally received our dinner, a gentleman entered the restaurant with friends and turned on the television (above our heads in the back of the restaurant), with the sound extremely loud. Enough that we no longer heard each other speak. We were with two children, 1 of whom was young (1 and a half years old). Without even asking if it was okay for us too, since we were sitting, I repeat, under the television. We ate our pizza in just 2 minutes finally getting our meal to go, got paid and left. Fortunately, the waitress was very nice and friendly, she was the only positive point of our evening. Very disappointing, I dont recommend it. Especially if customers are treated like this by the owner or manager (I cant imagine anyone else would allow such behavior in front of customers).

It is the second time I have visited Bacaro, and I can say that in addition to the good atmosphere, their margherita pizzas and their capresse salad, the best thing they give us is their friendly, helpful staff, ready to make us have a great time. This last time we were served by a young and beautiful girl, who kindly practiced her Spanish with us and we left very happy. Another point in favor is a Venezuelan lady who is building the salads, I think she is from Caracas. She and her two children, if Im not mistaken, are part of an added value that the owner of this restaurant must treasure as a gift from heaven. Thank you. Go and share.

Cute little pizzeria. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly owner. My wife and I stopped to eat before a party, so we didnt get much. But the focaccia was so fresh I wanted more. While sitting and waiting you could see the portions of food coming out for others and it looked incredible.

Super friendly staff and quick ordering. On the other hand, we waited almost 2 hours before having our meal. In addition, the pizza crusts were really too hard because it was overcooked (see burnt). Despite being handmade, we found that the pizzas lacked toppings for the price, but oh well. It might be good to be notified upon arrival at the restaurant if there is a wait time to let people decide whether it suits them or not!
