Hello, I have been a customer for years. I enjoy cuisine that appeals to my taste buds. In addition, the service is excellent on every visit. However, my tartare dish comes in at $32 with fries. However, I dont like not being able to replace the fries with a salad without paying the additional $7 plus taxes. In 2024, I love being able to NOT EAT fries and pay for it. I care about my health! Salad and not fries...

Very nice culinary discovery on the south shore of Montreal. Ideally located in Vieux La Prairie, lOurs Caverne Culinaire offers a 100% homemade menu with specialties cooked on site in their smokehouse! Sweet tooth here who was also more than delighted with their dessert menu, varied and seasonal!! I highly recommend! (In photo apple and cinnamon crème brûlée )

Also very disappointed that we couldnt try the Ariel pizza because they were out of ricotta But despite these being two minor ailments, we highly recommend the bear. There were 4 of us and we all loved it. And always a bonus when we can bring our own wine/drink. Highly recommend! Parking: A little difficult to find parking when you dont know that you have the right to park in the church.

The meals are exquisite and made with Quebec products The service has always been adequate except the last time, 3 errors on the invoices and forgetting the candy box which should have been included with the childs meal. We mentioned the problem to the waitress but after several mistakes, she got annoyed. Always a beautiful atmosphere on site, beautiful warm decor! :) Kid-friendliness: Varied childrens menu with drink and dessert option offered by Bonbons comme ancien.

Very good quality and portion for the plates, but we were a little rushed to order the meal, also rushed to pick up the plates from the starter which I had not finished. and also in order to free the table in 1:45. At the end of the meal, the bill arrived barely 30 seconds after refusing the offer of dessert and coffee. And finally, being told 20 minutes later that we can keep the table longer than expected

Very nice atmosphere. Excellent service. Very hearty Caesar salad and original presentation. The main courses were a bit disappointing. The ribs were very meaty, but with a lot of fat and not very tasty. The dish of the day: I found the chicken extremely cooked on the outside and in my opinion the burnt taste was too pronounced (cooked in the smoker). As for dessert and coffee: nice selection and we really enjoyed it. Nice foam on my cappuccino WoW! I also found the -sangria- formula very interesting, which consists of buying a recipe for $12 to add your own bottle of wine! What a great idea :)

Lasagna 7-8/10 Tagliatelle with egg yolk on top 310 Caesar salad tasted nothing and salad not fresh, rusty yellow leaves, we turned it over. I regularly make tagliatelle myself and the egg yolk is mixed with the cooking water and the parmesan cheese. Whereas when you bring the tagliatelle with the egg yolk on top, the pasta is not hot enough to cook the egg yolk, an uncooked egg yolk on my pasta, I find it disgusting and the tagliatelle is slimy. Didnt like it at all!

First time yesterday with my friends for my party. We loved the experience. We had salmon tartare, beets and hot goats cheese, snails, very tender flank steak with a good bbq taste and carbonara pasta. From starter to dessert it was very good. Good choice of dessert. The service is very good too.

Too expensive, forced tip at 16%. First and last time for me. There is a limit to everything and we reached it tonight. We came back to LOurs after bad food experiences, but we gave it a second chance...I had the tagliatelle carbonara and it was very good, on the other hand, my boyfriend ate it or at least tried to eat the burger that had raw bacon in it... too bad because this restaurant has a lot of potential, but there seem to be glaring problems in the kitchen.

At the time of booking I had put in a few requests and they were all taken into consideration. A quieter, more secluded place. Had it not been for a poorly positioned speaker for us, everything would have been great. Impeccable service and food. Attentive and above all attentive staff, which is rare these days. Many thanks for making our evening enjoyable.

Very nice restaurant, the food is excellent and the portions are good. I particularly liked our starter, the grizzly platter for 2. We had the boudin, winner of a bronze Délys in the classic boudin category of the restaurant at Julien, and the Burger le bâclé with poutine with port sauce. Every bite was a delight! We will repeat the experience without hesitation.

Very disappointed with this place, reservation of 9 people we were seated in the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen and all the dishes, a confusing atmosphere and no circulation of very hot air to feel comfortable, the meal without VERY poor exaggeration. I complained to the manager and all he could say was sometimes the staff lacks judgment, lol last time and I wouldnt be shy about talking about it.

I was invited by surprise to La Caverne de lOurs for my birthday and I went back another time and its always perfect, the food is prepared with care and everything is quick and hassle-free, both times I had the pleasure of being served by Eve who made me laugh and knew her menu like the back of her hand and gave me good advice on spontaneous choices! The place has a truly unique character that you absolutely must see but not like in a Kijiji ad there for real and the stairs to go up to the terrace (really incredible far from the street and near the garden for an old-fashioned atmosphere) are sickening we feel the old ghosts who are happy to see us enjoying the premises.

A bring your own wine restaurant where the portions are ridiculously small for the price you pay. 41$ for a bavette plate, which seems reasonable, but arrives as a 1 inch x 3 inch piece of meat which is 3 bites and 15 undercooked fries and dry coleslaw. 81$ for the meal (food only) with an entree which was basically another 3 bites). We were open minded when we got there but the average quality of the food does not justify the small portions and the price. Our entire party of 3 decided to go to another restaurant to eat after we ate there. We definitely all felt cheated by this place. I don t recommend. The waitress was nice.
