Staff got multiple items wrong in order. Front staff was awesome, in rectifying ones that were apparent while still in restaurant. Extra, extra pickle requests, probably means that the customer wants more than 3 pickles on their burgers.
Just wanted a evening snack. Ordered six peach pies, checked to make sure we got what we ordered, they were just thrown into bag and some boxes were open and we left a little disappointed. Got home, took them out and they were all burnt on the bottom and around the edges. Some had a burnt taste too. We live in the area and seldom go to this McDonald's due to issues like this.
I rarely do this, but here we are... This location has transitioned its workforce like ALL the rest in the past few months. Service, Food Quality, and Cleanliness has ALL suffered accordingly. The food takes forever, it's rarely accurate, and frequently cold. When you're paying top dollar for McDonalds these days, it's unacceptable.
Extremely bad service. Got there at 3: 49am they said they were unable to take any orders because they were switching over their machine and I said don't worry I'll wait. Then they told me I wasn't allowed to wait at the drive-thru and told me I had to wait in the parking lot. For some reason. Wouldn't give me any reason as to why, except for (which I believe is a lie) that they are not allowed to let me wait there. Which is an inconvenience to me for no reason to get me to leave the lineup? Don't get it. Completely unnecessary. I left. Which is probably what they wanted in the first place
So, this morning, I used to come here all the time for my favorite meal, but not anymore. I ordered a spicy egg wrap and hot chocolate from the self-serve section. I was waiting my turn when the "now serving" sign disappeared, and my food wasn't ready. The lady with glasses didn't respond when I asked her, so I tried another worker, but they had no idea either. Finally, she found my order and asked if it was mine, but I was missing my hot chocolate. I asked for a warm drink similar to hot chocolate, but she offered something with ice. I insisted on a regular coffee because it was raining. She seemed lost, holding my coffee and asking other customers. When she offered me the coffee, I asked for a refund instead, but she said the manager wouldn't allow it. It was chaotic, and I even saw the manager yelling at the employees in the back. I'm so disappointed; I don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon.
Was never great under the previous owner but it was at least passable as a McDonald’s. Under new ownership the quality of service has gone downhill, and all the new employees who replaced long time, former employees need a lesson on reading comprehension and general customer service. They can’t get a order right to save their lives.
Fries were half empty but the fries that they bothered to throw in were cold, soggy, uncooked, limp and gross, had green and brown bits Orange juice underfilled. Nuggets cooked in burnt oil. Requested “no toy”. Included toy. First and last time ordering at this location.
Unfortunately this place has gone far down hill and across the field. The food used to be hot and fresh, the fries full and the service almost always wonderful. Over the past several months it’s gotten worse and worse and shockingly even worse. The fries are never full and are usually soggy and lukewarm. Custom orders are often not customized properly. Recently I ordered a Big Mac with triple pickles and for some bizarre reason there were absolutely no pickles on the burger. Another example was a few weeks ago I ordered a sundae and it only had half the amount of ice cream and fudge as previous. Curbside orders take CRAZY long to be delivered. My most recent visit I watched 14 cars go through the drive thru and be served before my large fries were brought out, lukewarm and soggy and definitely not full. This used to be such a great place to grab a quick bite or take the kids for the occasional treat.
Theres not enough room to list all the thing wrong with this place. Either the ownership or the management has taken a serious nosedive. I wont be coming back here anymore.
Orders is often slightly wrong. I would say every third trip something gets messed up. Update Argh... Last week we ordered with the app, waited curbside, got the order and drove to the duck pond to have lunch. Poutine without a fork. Joy. Today two quarter pounder meals. Order through the app, wait, get it and drive to the duck pond and one of the burgers is missing. Drive back tell them we got the one with no pickles, no onions, etc., but the other was missing. Okay sorry. I walk back to the car with my burger. What did I do wrong? I forgot to check the order once I got it. Walk to the car, open the bag and notice they gave me the plain one again. One order two mistakes. I must be hangry because Im really annoyed. Anyway I ate the plain one and dont understand why anyone would bother eating a bun patty and ketchup, but thats kids for you. Maybe that is why the have tantrums...like Im doing now. I give myself zero stars as I should know by now to check my order, as should you.

Why is it so difficult to get some human interaction at McDonalds now? They brought the kiosks in and now they just throw your food over the counter to you and you cant even ask them a question... its like youre invisible.
Busy for a Saturday morning but lots of space to dine in. Food didnt take too long as there are over 10 people working together to serve the dine in and drive thru customers. Pretty clean interior Parking: Not many spots available for dining in, the drive thru line blocks the limited available parking spots

The person taking my order didnt understand me. Then, the drive-through took 10 minutes, and I still got asked to park. Waited another 15 minutes for a 10-piece nugget meal. Overall experience has majorly declined recently.

I visit this McDonalds frequently - both drive thru and in-restaurant - and the service level and long waits are nearing catastrophe. I am a patient person but today was the straw that broke my camels back. I waited nearly 30 min inside the restaurant for 2 cups of decaf coffee. I anticipate decaf will take longer as they dont always have it ready. Today, it was ready but a tad too quick and sure enough the coffee they gave me was practically cold. I requested a fresh brew to get a proper cup of HOT coffee. Was told it would take 4-5 minutes. Reasonable. Except it ended up taking nearly 20 min. And its near impossible to flag a worker down. They all seem so busy. Please McDonalds...do a review of your procedures and training!!!

I have a issue with your parking lot. This is for the owner. PUT DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE GARBAGE BINS! INSTEAD OF MAKING CUSTOMERS MOVE WHEN THE TRUCK COMES TO EMPTY THE GARBAGE. Why is there two parking stalls in front of them. Next time I wont be moving until Im done eating.
Came by just before 1am for a chicken nuggy happy meal so my dog could have a treat (say what you want about health idc) got treated very poorly. Got called derogatory terms in Punjabi. Panjot, etc etc. Im Hispanic, Scottish, English, etc. I still understand these terms theyre saying. Very disrespectful to customers, also the one guy there tried to get my dogs affection without asking. Quite rude. No respect at all from these employees, absolute joke. If I could leave zero stars I would. Dont recommend.
Always cold . Never fresh. Even when making you park for your order. Still something comes poorly prepared and or wrong order... cheat code. Go in and say the manager from yesterday said I culd have a free Bic Mac meal because it was cold. Works everytime. Literally

Very good service. Came in from the states and this had been my first time at a canadian mcdonald s. Adit was their at the counter with a joyful presents and smile. Created a fast and real interaction. Food came out fresh and hot and adit was very professional when handling situations. Keep it up young man.
If there s a selection of zero I will give it to them, poor service. What is the point of serving in progress screen notification if the staff was keep erasing it then they don t know who s going to serve first.

Its refreshing to find a mcdonald that hasnt forgotten how to be a restaurant. The manager, Adit, cats for his costumers and runs a fantastic crew. The inside is clean and the patio is inviting. A+
Day time manager is a mean one, while we were there, she didnt offer any help on our trouble getting the Mc app to work. She also ordered and yelled at her staffs to do something instead of standing around. Parking: Park anywhere you want. Reserved parking for special orders and app orders. Parking lot is clean.

Ok, this is the third time my kids happy meal didnt have fries and my sprite turns out to be just WATER. There has also been many times when we order happy meal expecting to get a certain toy but end up getting an old toy without letting us know at time of order. Really disappointing.

Staff is so nice, never have to wait too long. One thing I did notice is that they use the junior chicken patties instead of the chicken mcmuffin patties which makes me sad. Although I get it, Im sorry its annoying that I order it at night lol

Consistently takes 10+ mins to get orders with people ordering after me and drive thrus receiving their food first. Only shot at getting a single blended drink within a reasonable amount of time is going through the drive thru, but I probably wont bother.

My experience on 2 different occasions: First one was on a Friday I order a meal and a happy meal for my daughter. Both our my daughters and my fries were barely half way full but sure let that one go, I take a sip of my root beer and its really water down which I assumed was from the syrup being low. I go and ask them if they could give me a new root beer because its taste like carbonated water. They ask me how I know its syrup and just go and stare at my drink ... Ok the lady there takes my drink and says they will go replace the syrup I wait 5 mins and she comes back and hands me the exact same drink I had drank from with a new lid and straw ( still has the mark from where I struggled to put the lid back on) I once again told them a different worker who I assume is a manager or owner ( only person walking around without a uniform) he goes and asks a worker to replace the syrup... Guess what it wasnt in the area where the previous worker had to go replace the syrup but in the total opposite side of the kitchen. Second time: today I went to the McDonalds to grab a small strawberry smoothie and a refresher. After ordering I was waiting by the pick up area after about 7 minutes and with only 2 orders before mine I walk up closer to see if I didnt hear my order.. nope my one drink is there but no small smoothie ok after another 2 minutes and no one else there I ask if my order is ready the worker ( same as Friday ) says oh sorry we need to change the yogurt machine ... Alright 3 minutes go by and still nothing I ask another worker to see if I will have the same luck as Friday and she just quickly says just wait ... Just wait ... After 15 mins of waiting I finally get my drinks which my daughters smoothie was only 2/3 full ... I didnt have it in me to argue. I just left to catch my bus
This morning, I went for coffee to Macdonald. I forgot some change at home, and have only $ 1.25, and said I ll pay 20 cent tomorrow. The lady on counter disrespect me, and said I will not give you coffee . It was first time happen to me. Now days it worst place to go there for food, customer service. I go there for many many years, and never expected this experience before. Very bad behaviour, attitude, customer service, and taste of food , and quality.
Has definitely gone downhill under new ownership. We still go due to convenient location but regularly receive incorrect orders, and generally seems to be run on the cheap.

Oh, the McDonalds in ladner, what an absolute gem. If youre looking for a culinary adventure reminiscent of a dystopian future, this is the place for you! The staff are a true testament to the art of indifference. I particularly enjoyed the cashier who took my order with the enthusiasm of a sloth on tranquilizers. And lets not forget the unique surprise of getting the wrong order every single time. Who needs consistency when you can have the excitement of unpredictability? The food? Oh, where do I start? The breakfast burger had the fascinating taste of shoe leather. Consistently terrible!

They gave me wrong order, took my wrong order back. They made me wait, brought me out my order, but sandwich they gave me already had a bite taken out of it.
Best service in a Mcdonald restaurant I have been. One of the staff working that day kept checking on us if we needed anything and if we were ok.

Doesnt matter whether its the drive thru or door dash, the food is continuously cold, items are always missing, the fries are always half empty... today I received water instead of pop. Not carbonated water either, regular water they wouldve had to select the water option on the iced tea dispenser for. I tried calling the restaurant 3 times to complain and nobody answered. This place has fallen apart with its new ownership
Quite possibly the worst McDonalds. There is not a single time going through the drive thru where you do not get asked to pull into a spot and then have to wait such a long time to get your food and more often than not, it will be wrong or they will forget something. Very unfriendly and poor customer service as well.
Used to go to this McDonalds over the one near my home for service and food but it has gone so far downhill over the past year I won t go back.
No more free refills
They overcharged for items in my order and when I asked for the refund they didnt even refund the full amount and unfortunately I didnt notice till after I had already left. The food was abysmal at best. My friends order was just sitting on the counter already completed but no one was there to hand it to them so it just sat there getting cold. Youre better off skipping this one and continuing down the highway to either the Richmond or Tsawassen one.
Great place. The entire franchise is amazing. No problems with it, except for a time where they forgot my friends water. Great food, great prices. Good fast food if youre on a budget. Some of my favorite french fries come from this establishment, and great speed between order and receiving the food. The drive thru screen is majorly cracked last time I was there. Overall a great fast food place, highly recommended.
Updated review: March 23 24 Absolutely nothing has changed at this location. I know its McDonalds and I dont expect fine dinning but I do expect warm food that doesnt take me sitting in a car for 15 minutes along with 5 other cars waiting for food. This location needs a serious change in either ownership or management. Either way something has to be done. I still rather drive ten minutes out of my way to another location, to get consistently better food and customer service then come to this location if at all possible. Corporate should get involved with this location. This McDonalds has nothing but issues all the time. I ordered 4 large fries... They didnt have enough so I was asked to wait. 8 served cars and 10 min later Im given cold fries. There is almost never a time you drive by and some car isnt waiting. Id advise going to another location if at all possible.
The wait is way too long if you go inside and the drive through is always busy too. Inside they have self service kiosks after you use that youll be among lots of people waiting a long time for your food & drinks. Once I finally got my food at home I saw that the $5 large fries I ordered was half full. More like small fries in a large container. There was also a hair in my kids sundae. Ill never go back to this location again.

Order 2 cheese burgers with no pickle no onions small fry s no salt and apple pie . Both cheese burgers had pickles and onions and one was missing the meat . Apple pie was like they took it out of the fridge . This is the worst Mac Donald I have ever been to . Not the first time they have had terrible food

I guess its new policy to not include straws in the drive thru. How do you drink a shake without a straw? Had to go in to get one and they removed all kiosks with straws / napkins. They should at least ask if you want them. Absolutely stupid.
The womens bathroom is disgusting. Every toilet seat is gross. Its 4pm now and I was here this morning and the same spots on the toilet seat are still there. Not only that, I was here last week and someone had puked in the corner of one of the stalls. There are still puke chunks there today.

I wish I could give zero stars to this location. Guy named Adit is super rude and very unprofessional. I was given stale food. I could tell it s not fresh by just looking at it. I asked for a fresh burger. He (Adit) refused to give me fresh burger and told me to pay again. I am not supposed to pay again if I m not served fresh food. He said he s the manager there, he could do whatever he wants. He doesn t behaved like the worker but feels like he owns the Mcdonald s. He was even raising his voice while arguing with me. He has no idea about customer service.
Ordered food through the kiosk, which did not print out a receipt...when I received my order, I asked whether everything was in there, and it was confirmed. When I got home, half of my order was missing. I called and was told to come back to pick up the rest of the order. The person I had spoken to on the phone, was no longer there, and the other staff were not particularly friendly and did not apologize for this. The service has definitely gone down.
If I could give this zero stars I would. Drive thru took ages. Lady at the order speaker did not understand the English language and messed up our order. We told the other worker at the pick up window and they suggested a refund. We asked for a manager who told us she would fix our order and bring it out to us. It took ages once more and she brought us the wrong order again!!!

I went into get s coffee they seem to care more about drive thru then their dine in customers. I am extremely pissed off it took almost 30 mins to get a coffee. How bout do better with dine in customers.

Order two meal but they made a mistake only placing one order. However when I corrected them they would not allow me to place the new order and instead they told me to drive back to the back of the line and reorder since there was a lineup.
Lattes are always lukewarm to cold. They say its the machine but they never seem to be able to get it fixed Marcella is their best employee by far. Seems like a gong show plus the floors were super greasy and slippery today.

Sat in stall #1 for 15 mins after ordering 2 lunch meals at the drive thru for my kids. After that length of time I went back into the restaurant for a refund. Disappointed in the managers on shift and lack of communication. Will dine somewhere else in the future or come back when I have more time to waste parked in stall 1 .

The only McDonalds in the neighborhood it was very disappointing the new female employee was completely unable to complete the order and called out to her manager the man with black hair and stud earrings was obviously impatient when the order was wron,he actually told me to do it next time You need to be careful with your ordering I could never imagine McDonalds service in the neighborhood being so bad.

Very disappointed with the service . The gave me wrong tea 3 times . I will never go back to this McDonalds . Even i let them know that i get my tea wrong last time please make it carefully still they did the same thing . The only thing they focus is to chit chat with coworkers . They do not care about the clients . The staff need some more training .

Can you guys please change the way you make your iced coffees? You put in too much cream or something theyre consistently the worst mcdonalds iced coffee. Theyre like the Lacroix of iced coffees.
Theres been numerous occasions in which I go to this location and had an order be given to me that was incorrect. Today for example, I ordered a double hamburger only ketchup only to have saw the employees put in only one regular patty, fortunately the management was able to apply LAST. This sort of issue has happened numerous times over the occasional trip Ive made here. The crew should be reminded in learning to count between 1 and 2 patties for a single or double sandwich.
Food is as decent as fast food can be and so is customer service. Usually. Today - which was a Sunday - I just walked in to get a sundae at 7:30pm, saw a friend and said hello and proceeded to get yelled at by one of the managers. I felt insulted because this gives the message that they don t want to establish friendly relations with their customers - that they only want their money and nothing else.
