I recently visited a Tim Hortons and noticed an employee wearing noticeable makeup while working, which raised concerns about food safety. The white girl with tattoos had an attitude since the beginning of the order, she doesn’t know the basics of a serving job. I repeated my order 4 times but still got the wrong croissant. Refused to fix it after I mentioned and I quote her words “it’s done now, should’ve repeated 3 times on the kiosk” the asian guy working with her started laughing on it because the staff thinks they get paid to mock people. Terrible experience and service. The asian girl that handed me the order was super nice and held her stand.
Not happy! I came into this Tim Hortons at 5am and their selection was rubbish, absolutely lacking. And even though I was in a group of ten plus people when I fell asleep they shouted at me to wake up and kicked me out. I feel like it could’ve been a calmer reaction. Never coming again.
The place is full of wonderful people. They're fast and efficient, also very friendly. Issues are handled with professionalism. Never a bad place to come visit for a coffee or quick treat!
I had an offer for any size drink, so I asked for the biggest one since it was the same price. However, the worker rang it up as a medium, even though the day before, my girlfriend used the same offer at a different location and got an extra large. It didn’t really bother me at first, but then my girlfriend ordered a large ice capp and ended up with a medium. I'm starting to think this store is trying to save money by shortchanging customers.
Horrible experience, this is the worst Tim Hortons I’ve ever gone to on the island. I work in the food industry and this was a gross experience. I placed a mobile order of food and 3 iced caps, proceeded to wait 15mins in the drive thru for pick up and when I got to the speaker box I was promptly told they had no ice caps as their machine is down, however I counted 3 people walking out in the entirety of us waiting for 15mins holding an ice cap! I asked for a refund for the drinks as I would just go to another one as that’s the main reason why we went there to begin with. We had to go in for the refund, not once did anyone apologize or even attempt to make the moment right. The cashier barely acknowledged me and immediately asked for their supervisor to do the refund, the supervisor told me that someone already collected the order and not once did they apologize. They then proceeded to literally hand me incorrect change when I paid with card, and then walked away before I could say anything. Such a terrible experience, this is why I don’t ever go to this specific location as I used to work there back in 2018-2019 and the horror stories I have has been put me off until now.
Was a daily customer but no more. Orders are consistently wrong & am often shorted things that cost extra (ie espresso, bacon). Mobile order? You'll still wait in-store for 10-20 minutes for it. Last time was told "someone took my drink" & started making me another one but both cashiers were standing staring at the wall prior- if they knew someone took my drink why hadn't they made another one? Why wait? Online "customer service" is even worse, if you order from the app & don't get what you ordered, they claim to need to know your name, phone number, full address, time of purchase etc for a refund - as if they don't track the pertinent info through the app (and you're not mailing me a gift card so why do you need my address & phone number?). Marlon tried to make it right but it's too much wasted money & time for what is really a poor product anyways. Un-installed the app & installed Starbucks. 👋 forgot to mention the lack of Food Safe - watched someone "wash" their hands (5 seconds, no soap) & then use their hands to wash their eyeglasses before going back to touching food.
I was not going to post this, but it's really not sitting right with me. I will say at the end of what happened the manager was very pleasant with me over the phone but there was no real solution I felt. It really was a horrible experience for me. I tried to order a quick coffee and breakfast before work only to end up at work with nothing and almost crying from confusion on why I was being treated so poorly by the staff. I "tried" to order maple bacon, with 2 pieces of cheddar on a Croissant. The employee then rudely said "you want a simply bacon" I said I'm not sure what that would be called?" Now confused. I tried to tell them I would just like it on the new breakfast croissant they have as I usually order it on a bagel. As I was trying to speak, she very rudely interrupted me, saying, "OK OK, OK..." I then said sorry, I was just trying to explain.... she changed her tune a bit until I got my order, which was wrong. There was 1 slice of processed cheese when I tried to ask for 2 slices of cheddar cheese, and it was cold, not hot at all. I checked before I left because I figured since she interrupted me, it probably wasn't going to be the right order. While I told them it wasn't what I ordered one of the employees came over and said "what now" I said sorry but this isnt what I ordered, and can I ask why your being so rude to me? I got a ton of attitude back and ultimately just asked for a refund and if I could speak to the manager about what just happened, the employee then got mad at me saying well then you need to come inside! I didn't have time for this as I was trying to get to work. I understand working at tim Hortons is a stressful job as I use to work at one. But I would never ever treat a customer like that for no reason. I was in shock and almost crying again, didn't no what I did to deserve to be talked to so rudely. The manager did shove me off when I called at the beginning but eventually ended up talking to the employee. I do feel like he was not understanding what his staff just did. But I appreciate that he apologized to me. I do think more needs to be done. And reading thru previous reviews, it seems like customer service is a problem. I will never be going back. And will be letting others no as well

A staff member is extremely rude and impatient, I wish I got her name. My mom went through the drive thru to make an order today at 11am. I was on speaker phone with her while I was at work, as she was intending to bring my lunch so we could spend some time together. The girl over the microphone was nagging my Mom, complaining the phone was too loud, and rushing her, Is that all? Anything else? While my mom was clearly asking me what I wanted. If the phone was so loud than you knew that wasnt all. The only reason we even had to be on the phone during the order was because the website and the menu at the location doesnt list everything and we didnt know if the sandwich I wanted was still available. My mom told her to be patient, and that she was being rude. Which then the girl raised her voice and claimed my mom was the one being rude and told her to proceed through the drive thru, refusing to complete the order. Your customer service is trash and you should be fired.
I went to Tim Hortons at Vancouver airport, as I didnt know how to speak English I was always talking to my daughter (who lives in Victoria) and she spoke to the attendant, my daughter placed the order online. The attendant got impatient and gave me my wrong order, the bread came without the filling... I thought that was horrible, I paid for it and it came in half... I will never go back there!! Disappointment!!

Employees are always super friendly, food is hit or miss. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese, there s literally no cream cheese on it. You can t even taste it, like actually tf? They either put a half cup of cream cheese on your bagel or an actual crumb.

April 21st 5:30pm Waited 6 minutes before someone actually served me. It was obvious they knew i was waiting (only me in line) but nobody wanted to take the initiative to jump on the till to take the order. Management needs to work on rebuilding the culture of providing the best service to the customer. Im only writing this because its not the first time. I come here pretty often. The drive through service is good but seems like front end is lacking on training and communication. Not trying to be a Karen here just stating the facts. I hope management takes this review seriously and works on rebuilding the culture of providing the best service to the customer.

ok service could be better especially drive tru ,im always yelling into the mic and find my self repeating my order a couple times and even having to correct my order when i get to window , im not sure if it s a problem with there intercom but they should get it checked and another thing they always seem to rush you when your ordering your food and they keep saying thank you drive tru to the window please , before i m even done my order . Sometimes there s more then one person in the car that wants something and im pretty sure when i m done the order i ll say ok that s it thank you !! i mean i wasn t born yesterday and the person working the drive tru seems to think they are physic maybe and can read my mind and know when i m done ordering or something along those lines i don t know beats me but just some constructive criticism i guess sorry if i m being too frank but i think this is what leaving a review is meant for .If no one speaks up then the problem never gets solved . Your everyday Tim Hortons next to Westshore Mall. I went for a casual walk and grabbed a French Vanilla from this place. The staff were very jolly and proactive. Parking: Free parking lot. Plenty of space to park to be honest!
Thought it would be faster to use the order and pay kiosk because no one seemed keen for an order... Got to the end and was trying to pay and the pinpad simply didnt recognize that there was an order. Asked someone working and they suggested to use the adjacent kiosk. Not ideal for reasonable service times.
Of all the Tim Hortons in the greater Victoria area this location is by far the best. (I ve been to nearly all of them) I come to this Tim Hortons 5-7 times a week as does many of my family members. The drive-thru on weekdays is fast, efficient and friendly. Rarely have I ever had an order be mixed up. It s going to happen from time to time we are only human. I m hesitant going to other Tim Hortons locations.

I will never ever in my life come to this store again. For the very first time in my life in Canada since 7 years, I have been asked for $0.10 for a glass of tap water with my order, by an old lady from the staff. This is ridiculous. I am really very upset about this. Hope the staff learns a little bit from this and takes their customers a little more seriously and with a little bit of courtesy.!
This Tim Hortons is sometimes awesome with the food and service! I give service itself a 5 star as there have been 2 employees in the past year or so who have really made a world of difference. That was Kya and Cathy. Both very kind and I love going even to see their faces! This location has lots of parking and is next to the mall and has a fair amount of seating inside and accessible washrooms!

Been here many times. Each time the food/beverages are less than average so is customer service. Today was even worse than usual. Cashier at front till today was extremely rude. I didn t wanna say/comment on anything. I just wanted to get the hell out of there and never come back. Guy at the till was feeling almost ecstatic for berating over absolutely nothing. I was simply standing there waiting in my coffee. Customer service is an absolute disaster. These employees have no self respect, nor human dignity. I hope management sees it and hires the right people.

Ordered two wraps and they only gave me one. Considering they are now pretty expensive I was upset. If Tim Horton was still alive he would be so upset for what this place has become. Whether its burning your coffee or messing up your order and forgetting items they will screw it up!

I was in tonight and a girl ordered a chicken wrap, I overheard one of the female workers stating how disgusting this poor girls food was and how it smelled disgusting. If someone is buying food a worker should never stand there and talk about how disgusting a customers food is or going to be, it puts off the customer for buying food again. Felt very bad for the girl who ordered the food who had to stand there and wait and hear her talk about it.
One of the most useless Tim Hortons I have been to in BC and Ontario. Actually most useless Tim Hortons Ive been to, period. On several separate occasions over the past few months Ive had to drive out of the drive through without ordering because they dont have anything. If all you want is a regular coffee and absolutely nothing else, then this would be the place for you. However, if you want a donut, sandwich, bagel, or anything else on the menu, good luck cause they are always out of stock on most of their items. So might as well change their store name to Disappointment Coffee because thats what this place is.
Sue was so amazing! She really went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing experience; even taking time to bring out my drink to the dinning area! She was fast, helpful, and I could tell she had a friendly smile behind the mask! I will definitely be a returning customer!

I spent $10 on peppermint hot chocolate, and I got the worst hot chocolate, filled with water. Its taste is so watery you dont feel like drinking hot chocolate. I bought a doughnut, and the staff was not bothered to inform us that one we ordered was not in stock. This is so weird being a regular customer.

In the drive through, placed and order, with nobody else in the line up. Ordered a meal, 2 extra items. Saw on their screen the first extra item, then ordered the second extra and told ok, drive up which I did, then paid what they asked of me. At the window, I get my drink, then rest of the meal and the guy handling the window says thats it... I said I ordered 2 other items. He then has to print my order to verify. I can see the woman behind him, nodding her head yes to the fact I ordered additional items. Gives me 1 and then proceeds to want to charge me for what I thought I had already paid. Seriously there are 4 grown people working the drive thru window and they cant get 1 order correct with nobody else in line.
The grilled cheese with bacon is a great lunch on-the-go. Highly recommend!

This has to be the worst Tim hortons I have ever been to. Probably the worst fast food place I ve ever been to. They treat their customer and their products so carelessly. Many times I have gotten food in the restaurant and been ignored with no one willing to help for minutes (5 plus minutes). Every time I order they ask me 5-10 times what I ve ordered after I paid and is on the screen. I ve been thrown a sandwich on the side without asking what my order was or being told what the order was and having to dig through the bag to see if it s my food. I got a sandwich today and the sandwich was COVERED in sauce including the outside of the bag too. Had to get a napkin just to touch the bag. Unfortunately this is the THIRD time this happen. I am so disappointed and kept trying to give this location another shot but I will never be returning again. Do better Owners and Managers of this location.

Wow.. I could rip this place apart on every aspect of how this location is run. Ive actually never seen and experienced this level of not understanding how to run a Timmys. I try to not go there but my friends sit to chat there so I end up having to endure a massive wait every single time even if theres no line. They just simply dont pay attention to the counter and focus solely on drive-thru. And the are rude to top it. Theres only one good location and its the goldstream one. Do yourself a favor and go the extra few minutes up the hill and get the actual timhortons service youre looking for.

It is one of the busier Tim Hortons in Langford. Even with so many people behind the counter and covering drove through, service is average at best. Co-workers constantly criticize each other in front of patrons while waiting for orders. The staff are truly not polite to customers when asking simple questions.
Made the mistake of asking for a sleeve for my coffee. Lady behind the counter decided to audibly slam it down so hard it made the person behind me jump. This is by far the worst Tim Hortons on Vancouver island. Staff are slow, would rather chat with each other than work, staff is rude and the service is sub par. Avoid this one and use the one on goldstream. The staff don t appear to have issues with doing their job at that location

Tim Horton is, in my opinion, one of the best service bars I visit ... I come to them every morning for coffee that tastes great.Since I dont put anything in the coffee, its always delicious, warm and I like to drink it ...The staff is also very friendly and I always get smiles and greetings ...

All tables were covered with garbage. The bag of food given had a big smear of butter on the bottom, when brought to the attention of one of the employees behind the counter, they ignore it and keep doing whatever they were doing. Some nice casheers but thats about it. Update: Ive now found hair in my food from this Timmons location more than once recently. If I could give this place less then one star I would. Update to the update: Got a replacement for the food that had hair in it. The replacement had cardboard in it. Its honestly amazing how little the staff care about the quality of the food they serve.

Did not follow instructions, I asked for no bacon grilled cheese but still got one piece of bacon hidden inside. This was ridiculous as i am a Vegetarian since birth and by religion. I would never eat anything from Tims again.

This location doesnt list hot coffees on the drive-thru menu... cold coffees are listed, which isnt helpful in the midst of the biggest snowfall this year. The drive-tru person couldnt hear me when I repeatedly asked if they carry espresso drinks... so we ordered a single drip coffee (nice downsell). I noticed the comm. system has been smashed where the customers place their order... not sure if that is the root of the communication issue but its easy to see that Im not the first unimpressed customer.

Service through the drive thru is good and fairly quick (for Tim Hortons) but if you go inside to order it is very different experience. Its slow and disorganized inside, but from what I could tell they seemed properly staffed (each time) so Im not sure what the problem is.

Tables are not being disinfected or managed in a safe manor .we saw 3 employees standing around while sat at a dirty table by mistake ..store had 2 customers at one table .and no one ordering ..
